All right, it is primary day in Michigan and there's a big, big race. You have corporate Democrat Haley Stevens against progressive candidate Abdul Al Said. And there's all of this bickering in the Democratic Party over this. I mean, my feed is full of it. And I've said this for a long time for Republicans, they see no difference between a corporate Democrat and a progressive Democrat. If anything, Republicans prefer to run against a corporate Democrat because they know they can beat them. Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris. And so Abdul El Sayed is beholden to no one. But to prove the point of how Republicans just think everybody with a D next to their name. Oh, they're a libtard. Listen to Trump right here.

Okay. And so the Fox at Fox, they're, they're getting very concerned about progressive Democrats because progressive Democrats are actually an opposition party. And you have Bill Maher and James Carville who have said, if Hassan Piker is campaigning with Democrats, I don't want to be in the Democratic Party anymore. And again, to all of these rural MAGA voters, they see no difference, zero difference between Hillary Clinton and Hassan Piker. They think they're both commies. And you have to understand that. And we have to have a big tent party. And I think this primary is great. Let's run the corporate dim who's taken $70 million from APAC against a gu who might have a non euro name, who is not beholden to anyone who speaks for everybody. Let's run it. Let's see what happens. That's what primaries are for. Well, Laura Ingram spits out some truth here and this is pretty telling. How fearful the Republicans are, how fearful MAGA and their propaganda channel, how scared to death they are of progressive Democratic candidates. Play the clip.

Just as Carville and Maher may dislike or distrust Trump, remember the promised prosecutions that they are advocating for Piker over the weekend. They're going to promise prosecutions of Trump and his family, then ICE officials, anyone who work for ice, then the entire system will be put on trial before it's ultimately dismantled. So Democrats, you got to nip this in the bud now because if the socialists get a foothold in November, they could end up being the dominant force in the party for the next 40 years.

Okay, that's really telling that she said the next 40 years. Because it's the truth. Because if there were a new New Deal, it would be wildly popular. The policies of FDR were incredibly popular. So popular. That's why we have an amendment in the Constitution now that limits presidents run to only two terms because it's wildly popular. It's just not popular with corporations because corporations value profits over safety. Corporations value exploitation over livable wages. And the progressives of the Democratic Party are now the party of law and order. And I hope to God we prosecute ICE agents. Dumb and dumber. Trump, throw Baron in there, throw Melania in there. And here is the boogeyman himself, Hassan Piker.

Arrest and prosecute and bring about corruption charges for every prominent member of this administration that is engaged in corruption and arrest, prosecute and arrest ICE agents that have also done crimes as well on the job. That would be a platform position that, that I would want to see from the Democratic Socialists of America.

I mean, if you are committing crimes as a public servant and you are stealing money from the American people, if you're being bribed to give pardons, if you are killing innocent people, under what worldview should that not be prosecuted? That's how skewed we are. And I will just remind everybody, the weaponization, quote unquote of the Justice Department has all been done by Trump, I. E. James Comey, Letitia James, nobody, Barack Obama didn't commit crimes. And guess what? Nobody prosecuted when he was out. The difference is Here we've got a crime mafia style crime family in the White House and everybody's cashing in from cabinet members to all the kids. And now he wants to not be pro or audited by the irs. So do the crime, do the time as what I say.

And I think Hassan is on to something there because this is how Mayar won in Hungary. He won on an anti corruption platform. And the corruption here is so intense. And if the opposition party isn't constantly reminding everybody this MAGA party is the party of crime and disorder, we are the party of law and order. They have to be an opposition party that states it all of the time. And I think that we need to run on a platform of law and order, a platform of anti corruption, a platform of universal human rights. So when people get their panties in a wad about somebody's pronouns or somebody's sexuality, here's the situation. Those people have kitchen tables too. So it's a kitchen table issue for everybody. And as Democrats, you might not understand somebody that's gender fluid or somebody that's queer or somebody that's gay or somebody that's lesbian or somebody that's black, but they're still human beings and they have the same kitchen table issues that every other person has. And so I think they're onto something. And I think Laura Ingram, I just think she knows if the people get a taste that government is supposed to work for you, it's supposed to be efficient and work for you. They're going to like it, just like they did under fdr. But the Democratic Party has lost its way. So if Bill Maher and James Carville want to go out to pastor, go, go, go do a big barbecue with Haley Stevens and Cory Booker and Chuck Schumer. And y' all just have, you know, just service corporations. But it doesn't work. It doesn't work. The reason the DSA is rising so much right now is because the Democrats are impotent. When it turns to fighting fascism, they bring a spoon and it's just such a petulant. I'm not going to be in the party more. Grow up. Quit being a titty baby, for God's sake. I mean, Hasan's a twitch streamer, for God's sake. And I'll tell you what, he's, you know, he could. If some, if a candidate wants to campaign with him, that's their choice. Fucking get over it. I mean, all of this bedwetting is just ridiculous, okay? And speaking of corruption, David Ellison is an oligarch, as everybody knows he's donated money to the IDF during an act of genocide. He is solely responsible for hiring Barry Weiss, an incompetent fascist who is completely destroyed. CBS News completely destroyed our iconic television show in the United States of America, 60 Minutes. And of course, with these oligarchs, with anybody in Trump's orbit, they can't ever have enough. They're never going to be satisfied. They're never going to be fixed. And so now he's breaking his silence on the Paramount merger. Pop this up. Paramount CEO David Ellison says opposition to the Warner brothers merger isn't about market share, but about whether I can be trusted. As a steward of Warner's cnn, I have regularly voted for candidates of both parties. I hold some views that would be called conservative and others that would be called liberal, just like most Americans. And when it comes to our news operations, I do not aspire to lead these companies to bend their newsrooms to my views. This is verifiably and objectionably false. Barry Weiss spiked the story about seacot, the concentration camp in El Salvador where the United States of America, without giving people due process, sent people to be tortured, some of them sexually tortured. This is just the lying and the criming and the corruption. And can you imagine, you have all this money, all of it, and you just can't go to a fucking therapist, hire a spiritual guru to get your shit squared up. There's no excuse for being this dysfunctional, but I think there's a psychosis that goes along with being a billionaire where you, you have broken yourself because you have exploited people. And I always think about the example of, like, the Starbucks barista worker that might probably make $7.25 an hour, and the CEO of Starbucks that makes hundreds of millions a year annually. And just how disgusting that is.

Well, and here's the thing about just to the billionaires, just an aside. It's like these billionaires, you don't have to talk, you didn't have to write an op ed. Peter Thiel doesn't have to go around talking about the Antichrist. Elon Musk doesn't have to get on and spew his racist. But they think their opinion is so important and so authoritative. But when I was reading this article, he straight up says, I want cnn. That that's what I'm going after. And it's like, Fox News wasn't enough. Ruining CBS wasn't enough. Ruining 60 Minutes not enough. Now we have to go for CNN. And, and here's the deal. He wants balance. He wants news to be all encompassing as long as it's agreeing with his opinion. And that's exactly what you have with Trump and all the oligarchy. That's just authoritarianism 101.

Victor Orban, all of his buddies owned all of the media and he, his opponent, wasn't even allowed to be seen on any of the television shows, which shows just how his message of corruption really resonated when he traveled to rule in small towns in Hungary. And people don't like corruption when you show it. So Hassan Piker is on to something here. And if Bill Maher and James Carville want to wet the bed all the time about all of this stuff, leave the party. I mean, like, nobody likes corporate Democrats anymore. It's. I don't agree with Hassan Piker on everything, but we agree on the majority of things, and I think the majority of Americans do.

Let's make it long. Of course the FCC is taking bribes during the Paramount merger. Pop this up. FCC chair Brendan Carr's latest financial report said Paramount gave him tickets to the 2025 Kennedy Center Gala worth $12,390. He and his wife sat in skybox seats. Such seats sold for $125,000 a piece, according to Kennedy center guidelines. I've said this and I'll continue to say it, for anybody to work for Donald Trump, for anybody to have voted for Donald Trump, and yes, I'm talking about 77 million Americans, there's something broken that you see a man that pathologically lies. You see a man that said grab him by the pussy. You see a man that riled up all the rubes to do January six and you just see his tweets or you see a 10 second interview of him, you know, with all the marbles in his mouth acting like a nut. And if you still voted for that, you are a completely broken person. We have a broken culture in the United States of America. Which is exactly why people and oligarchs like David Ellison want to buy cnn. Because they want to continue to keep the culture broken so they can continue to control the narrative, so that they continue to keep people drunk on propaganda that somehow what they're doing isn't hurtful. But the people making $7.25 cents an hour, that's hurtful. Or the immigrants that might speak English as a second language, they're the ones taking you over. So it's very important for the fascist project for them to control the propaganda channels. Him parading around acting like he I'm a conservative on this issue and a liberal on that issue. You are a hundred percent a broken person that however many billions of dollars you have will not fix you.

You know, I saw this about Brennan Carr and I was like that. I'm sure that's the tip of the iceberg. I'm sure if you put 100 forensic accountants in a room and tried to go and put a dollar amount on all the grifting by Trump and his appointees and cabinet and on down the list, 100 wouldn't be enough. Working 24 hours a day for 50 years, I mean, that's how corrupt this thing is. But one thing that occurred to me on the Laura Ingram and she's so worried about socialism. I think the biggest driver of people to socialism and to want something else Is the Republican policies specifically what we're seeing now with Donald Trump? Give everything to the oligarchs. Let them have all the power. The wealth disparity, like you are leaving people with a choice that they have to choose something where they can get ahead. And this is. We're. We're in a situation now that people cannot live. I just read 63% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, are having to make compromises of, you know, food or medicine. It's like, because in Donald Trump, he wants to paint everything gold. He wants to put his picture on everything. We don't have money to help the American people, but we have money for war and projects. And for me, if I'm looking at this just from the outside, I'm thinking, why would you allow this? You, for me, right now, what Donald Trump is selling is pushing people away from just the moderate center. He's pushing them way far more progressive.

I think the moderate center is what's pushing people away from the moderate center because the moderate center has failed politically. The moderate center is a preservationist system. It preserves the beholden nature to corporations. It. It services corporations. Moderate politics do. And so Donald Trump is a fake populist, a fake populist candidate that pathologically lies. They went to vote for him because they wanted something radically different. The Democrat. The DSA has a. Has a lot of really good points. And unregulated, untethered capitalism is a disaster. It always leads to this. This is why FDR was so such a successful president, because he knew in order to preserve the United States capitalism, it had to be robustly, robustly regulated.
