The Texas Republican Party is every bit as incompetent as Donald Trump. The they brought in an elephant for some big shindig they were having with the governor there. Let's play the clip. Elephant. And the elephant takes a huge piss in the middle of the conference. The spectators think it's a real knee slapper. The elephant has a banner on it that says something about unity. Because that's what I think of when I think of Republicans. I think about unity. Unity. And crazy that is. But they brought the elephant so that Greg Abbott could do a photo op with it. Let's play the clip. She's just gonna grab this right here. I don't want to mess with her camera. Here we go. One, two and three. Fantastic. And as you can see there, it says at the top, governor Hot Wheels Unity drives victory. Was that put on there by the Instagram user or that's actually in Texas. He's embracing the governor. Hot Wheels. Oh my God. And all right. And then as it would always be, this elephant of course comes from a company that likes to abuse animals. Because Republicans, of course, are all about abusing women, even men. Look at what they tried to do to Mike Pence. And of course, elephants popped us up. Kylie, the company that provided the elephant for Texas GOP convention, has decades of animal abuse charges for beating elephants with clubs. That's so perfect for maga. That is so on brand for MAGA Republicans to hire a company that beats elephants. I mean, there has never been a more perfect hire for them than this. But it gets really bizarre and takes a bizarre turn. So there's a Muslim man who wants to go to the Texas GOP convention. Pop this up. A Muslim Texan hoping to participate in the state Republican convention left in tears after being told explicitly that he should leave the country. Muhammad Hussein was among four Muslims who arrived at the convention in earnest and were met with discussions of Sharia law that veered into outright Islamophobia. And here is the photograph. As you can see there, they are praying with Muhammad here. So Dr. Rick Scarborough, a former Southern Baptist pastor and president of Recover America, prays after telling Muhammad Hussein to convert to Christianity or leave the country after a panel at the Texas GOP convention on Judeo Christian Values at the George R. Brown Convention center in Houston on June 13th. This surprises me. Zero, absolutely zero that here these immigrant people or people of immigrant descent think that they're going to find a home in the Republican party. And when they arrive, they are met with rampant rancid Islamophobia. And immediately you convert, you be like us or get the out. And here's the thing for Muhammad, he could convert to Christianity and he would still be a Muslim in the eyes of the white supremacists. And then at this convention, there is a panel about that's razor focused on Sharia law. Pop this up. At the biennial state Republican convention this week, hundreds of attendees packed a ballroom, some sitting on the floor or standing at the back for one of the most popular panels. Don't Sharia my Texas. This is just such blow hard that Republicans do the biggest threat in Texas, the biggest threat in this country, are the Christian nationalists that want to control women, that want to take away a woman's right to vote, that have dismantled the Voting Rights act, that are anti lgbtq. Plus, I guarantee you these white people praying with Muhammad there, I bet they are stage five melting down about about Pride Month. I bet they are completely beside themselves. And then of course, Ken Paxton, senatorial, candid, he coins a new nickname for James Talarico. Play the clip. And now he actually kind of likes it. We called him Talofrico, but maybe we should change it to Tall Creepo. Yeah, that's hilarious, Ken. Hilarious. Ken Paxton is the biggest hypocrite on the planet. He it's slap and tickle city. Whoever he's married to to if there's a woman around him, he's grabbing them, he's having affairs with them and then wants to be sanctimonious about religion. But here's the thing about James Talarico. He's a reminder to the people in Texas of faith that their faith should be used for good. But in the maga world, faith is used for bad. It is used to marginalize, it is used to justify being judgmental, it's used to justify racism. It's basically an extension of the same way the KKK used Christianity. But we should look no further. Then expert on Christianity, Vice President J.D. vance, the world's biggest global prostitute, eyeliner wearer and recent Catholic convert. I want to remind you this is his third religion and his third name change. He's also owned by Peter Thiel, the tech oligarch who's packed his toys up from America and moved to Argentina. But here is little Smokey on Fox News talking about great Christianity and America.
D
America perspective on faith. Yes, Jesus is all that matters. But I think one of the ways that we come to know God is by talking about him and trying to understand him. And that's what I love about the American church is we're all kind of figuring that out together different ways. Sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we, we do find our path to God powerful.
C
So he's building a big tent. First of all, Kylie, I want you to get a big screen grab. The eyeliner is incredibly heavy on this daytime appearance on Fox. Look at that. I mean that's just a downright smokey eye. I mean that's just incredible because on the View he lightened it up. But when he's in maga safe news, state sponsored news. I mean we are full blown. I mean I'm saying that is like smokey eye light. I mean, I think we're basically two news cycles away from a full blown smokey eye. But I digress, listener. It just seems like everybody is talking about weight loss injections because the results are so incredibly dramatic. They work by lowering blood sugar and reducing appetite. Snake handlers, Tongue talkers and then comparing them to Catholics. You know, here's the thing about Christianity. The Catholics think the snake handlers and the tongue talkers are cultists. The tongue talkers and the snake handlers think Catholics are all going to hell. There's no consensus in this. He's trying to build a big tent of white supremacists and all he has to pull on are people that don't critically think. The one thing that the tongue talkers and the snake handlers have in common is they cannot critically think. And instead of critical critically thinking, they have replaced that with obedience. And obedience is something that smokey eye sociopath JD Vance knows all too well. Remember, JD Vance was the guy who rightfully said that Trump was America's Hitler, the tech oligarchs saw something in J.D. vance. They saw that he could be broken. They saw that he was malleable and Peter Thiel called J.D. vance, flew him out to California, queer eyed him send him back over and now he's Vice President of the United States. J.D. vance is a charlatan. He is bought and paid for just like all of these charlatans in Texas that are so scared of James Talarico becoming Senator because he will expose what true followers of Christianity believe it should be kindness, redemption, justice, social justice, no racism. Ken Paxton wants to keep the KKK form of Christianity. J.D. vance wants to do rattlesnake handling of Christianity with his eyeliner which is kinky as hell if you ask me but nonetheless that's just a little check in on the MAGA Christians and the Republican MAGA Party of Texas. My God Texas please go vote for James Talarico. All right that's all we have. Please like subscribe comment and we will be back later with more news.

Satirical asides (especially about J.D. Vance’s eyeliner) underscore a blend of entertainment and incisive political commentary.
For listeners who missed it, this episode delivers a scathing, satirical review of the Texas GOP convention as the ultimate case study of MAGA dysfunction. From the farcical “unity” elephant to genuine stories of intolerance, Jennifer and Angie expose a party splintering under its own contradictions.
