starts with the right support. All right. I don't really know what to believe about this war because there's so much propaganda from the Trump regime. They pick certain outlets to leak information to only to have the President go out and contradict whatever the White House's statements are within the same day. It's nuts. But here's where we are. Try to go through this because we're in an illegal war. Trump's laser focused on his ballroom and we have a bunch of incompetent people leading the charge in this war. So Axios is reporting that the United States and Iran are close to negotiating a deal to end the war. I'm skeptical, but let's go ahead and look at this. The White House believes it's getting close to an agreement with Iran on a one page memorandum of understanding to end the war and set a framework for more detailed nuclear negotiations. And so I just want to say the only thing that makes me believe the veracity of this is maybe the one page part. The people. When you've got Trump's golfing buddy Witkoff, his son in law who's corrupt is all, get out. Jared Kushner, Pete Hegseth, who is dumber than a box of hot rocks. Marco Rubio, who's really not involved in this, which is bizarre for a Secretary of state. And then of course, Donald Trump pumps. What's your take?
Pumps
I think it defies logic. I mean, when you've seen how these parties have behaved, Trump, you know, bloviates how great he is and it's destroying everything and then can't get oil out of the street. So here's what I think. I think this is bullshit, maybe market manipulation. But I just think you cannot have the settlement of this war without opening up the strait. And he's not addressing that at all. So I think it's top to bottom.
Main Host
Okay. And just yesterday there were mixed messages coming out of the administration about the war. Marco Rubio made this amount announcement from the White House press briefing. Let's play the clip.
Marco Rubio
I think you're linking it the the operation Is over. Epic fury as president notified Congress. We're done with that stage of it. Okay, we're now on to this project of freedom as far, okay, this is,
Main Host
this is the biggest fool's errand of maga. You have initially a lot of working class leftover voters that went to Donald Trump. He's going to help us, he's going to save us. And then of course, you know, all the country club Republicans, they don't need saving, they just want to cheat the tax code. So they're always going to vote Republican. Then you get the Latinos for Trump, he's going to save us. And then when the Iranian war first broke out, you have Iranian Americans saying he's going to save us, he's going to free us. He's not going to save anybody but himself. This is self preservation. He got into this thing because he did not listen to the Pentagon. He refused to listen to them. Instead, Benjamin Netanyahu was sitting in the Situation Room, which is unprecedented, dog walked Donald Trump into the war because either Donald Trump is so weak and or compromised, which would make him compromisingly weak, which I would believe all of that. And Rubio was pressed on whether renewed fighting would under, quote, project Freedom and how that relates to Congress and the War Powers Act. Rubio said the law is 100% unconstitutional. Rubio also said that the goal was to restore things back to the way they were before the war started, which would take us back to Obama's nuclear deal. This is insanity. And what's so insidious about this is people are told every day we can't afford this national deficit is just ballooning. We can't afford to do these things. All of these lazy poor people need to get better jobs. Meanwhile, as you mentioned, pumps. This is probably some sort of market manipulation bullshit where the.01% that kisses Trump's ass are going to profit off of this.
Pumps
And Marco Rubio, I mean, dude, it's semantics. I just, obviously the cultists aren't going to believe it, but everything that comes out, well, it's not Operation Fury anymore, it's Project Power or what the fuck ever. It's like, shut up. You this up. You have no way out. You're tanking global economy and now you just want to brand it. Like I don't think anybody other than the die hard Trumpers are buying that. A we were, you know, now Trump every speech. Well, you don't want Iran to drop the nuclear bomb. Dude, we all know that's a lie. Like shut up. I'm Just so sick of just being treated like I'm the dumbest person to ever live.
Main Host
It's just the propaganda of a fascist regime, and it's exhausting. And Jim Sciuto has the following analysis. Don't miss the significance of this. The administration is announcing the end of the war, in effect, without having achieved regime change change, ending Iran's nuclear program or eliminating its missile program. And its focus is now on solving a problem which didn't exist prior to the war, a closed or nearly closed Strait of Hormuz. The president could, of course, order new military strikes, but the current state of play has not met his sometimes outsized expectations. And so, again, he's created problems, like with the tariffs, and then he wants to come in and fix them. This is a feature of the way he governs. He breaks things that didn't need to be broken, that were on a trajectory of doing well, like the economy. And then he's going to come in and say, well, I'm going to fix it. It's the definition of insanity. And I thought this clip right here from Marco Rubio, the hypocrisy in this is pretty rich. Play the clip.
Marco Rubio
What the President is expressing and I think has repeatedly is he wished the Iranian people had, you know, look, he's heartbroken by these images. You think about it, you're an Iranian, okay? You're unhappy that your economy doesn't work for you. You don't have freedom. You don't have an opportunity to express yourself. You know, you've got friends that have been shot in the head because they're out protesting. And he just, it's heartbreaking to him to see that these people are abused in this way and have no measures to take against their own government as a result of it.
Main Host
All right, little Marco, this is exactly the way Americans feel about America. An economy that is not working for us. Watching protesters get shot by their government. The projection here is so Freudian, it's overwhelming. The fact that you went from 10 years ago sounding alarm bells about how dangerous this man was, and then you just debased yourself and trotted right up to this man. And every time you give a speech, it's for a party of one. And nobody on the planet believes that Donald Trump is heartbroken over images of Iranians. It's not even remotely believable in the least bit. This guy is so laser focused on his ballroom, he now has all of your colleagues, all of these former, all of your former colleagues in the Senate. Now they're all ready to say oh yeah, we need to do a taxpayer funded $1 billion ballroom on top of the billions we're spending daily to break things in Iran that weren't broken before and draw the American government and the American taxpayer into some quagmire. This is what every Republican does and they do it time and time again. And the Democratic Party has got to be a full blown opposition to this because I grow tired of reporting on just how incompetent Republicans are. I grow tired of reporting on their use of propaganda and the feigned outrage we're all supposed to feel about it. And the Democratic Party needs to quit playing patty cake with the same donors that fund these fascists and go full tilt resistance. I'm talking about not only dismantling this government, but making sure there is legal accountability for every single one of them, including Lil Marco.
Pumps
No, completely agree. And the only thing I would add to that is every report I have read is the new regime that Trump has. You know, he killed the. The leader. That these leaders are worse, they are more militant, all their restrictions are worse. And Marco Rubio, for you to throw out the word heartbreaking, like shut the up, like nobody believes that.
Main Host
Okay, and then here is a video of Pete Hagseth. Play the clip. Thank you, Secretary Hexa. Last 24 hours or so, Iran's fired at us. We fired at Iran. Just going to ask you more directly. Is the ceasefire over?
Progressive Insurance Announcer
No, the ceasefire is not over. Ultimately this is a separate and distinct project and we expected there would be some, some churn at the beginning which, which happened and we said we would defend and defend aggressively and we absolutely have. Iran knows that.
Main Host
Okay, I noticed here he didn't have his American flag scarf in his suit pocket, so I'm wondering why he feels less patriotic. But the overwhelming message here is that you have Marco Rubio who has proven to be an abject hypocrite, a political prostitute who believes in nothing that is rec. Recklessly endorsing illegal wars, trying to go spin them and justify them. You have Pete Hexeth, who needs to be in drug and alcohol rehab for at least 120 days and then maybe a year of AA collecting chips before he ever sets foot back into full time employment, much less the Secretary of Defense, which I refuse to call the Secretary of War out of maturity and spite. And while all of this is going on, they are all debasing themselves and having our country commit suicide for a man who did this yesterday in the Oval Office. Play the clip.
Donald Trump
That they had a man, power lifter, and he Decided to go the opposite direction. He was a failed power lifter and he went on the other side and he decided that he wanted to go into women's sports. And I don't think we'll have to worry about you. Yes, sir. You're gonna do good. Are you a strong person?
Marco Rubio
Yes, sir.
Donald Trump
Good. You think you can take me in a fight when you have transgender mutualization? Don't listen to this. Kids of your children of your children. Transgender mutualization of your children. I called all my people and I, we just set every record in the book. The economy is going great. I ended eight wars. Nobody else ended, ever ended a war. And the person that won the Nobel Prize, Maria, she's a good person. She said, I don't deserve this. This deserves to President Trump. There's never been a man that deserves a Nobel. He ended eight wars, including India, Pakistan, which would have been a nuclear war. Eight of them.
Main Host
All right, you're witnessing the compound effect of both elder abuse and child abuse at the exact same time. The adults standing around there are co signing on elder abuse, which is allowing this man to sit there when he should be in an insane asylum. The thing he talks about the most and all of the adults that are allowing the president to pathologically lie to these kids that there is something called transgender child mutilization that happens in the United States of America. These lies are so dangerous. The Republican Party knows if they repeat this over and over and over and over again, then people adopt it as normal. And let me give you an example. A lot of people are like, oh, I don't think it was that big of a deal that Kamala Harris campaigned with Liz Cheney. I immediately thought it was a big deal. And let me tell you why. Liz Cheney in 2019 stood in front of cameras and said, there is something called a fourth term abortion. These babies are born and then they're killed. This is a lie. At the heart of the anti abortion pro life movement. It is a big lie. Right up there with the 2020 election. Women are dying and physicians are terrified of getting criminally prosecuted because of this lie. Think about how insane this lie is. The Republican Party and this isn't just some fringe. This is the Republican Party at large accuses hospital medical doctors, nurses, scrub techs, etc, of executing babies. It is insane and it is a lie. Likewise, they are now accusing teachers in schools of sending people send their kids to school. Somehow some surgery room pops up at the school, they're whacking wieners and then sending the kid home. This is an absolute loaded lie. And these lies are so dangerous. And the fact that we have this dementia ridden imbecile droning on about this to kids is child abuse. It is mainstreaming and laundering, profound dementia and mental illness and some sort of psychopathy that's just really hard to register. And it's dangerous. This is a very dangerous lie. And he used it on the campaign trail. He would say, oh, these people send their kids to school and they're like, oh, my God, my kid came home, my son came home and my son was a girl. I heard him say it over and over again. And it's so frustrating to live in America right now because you wake up in the morning and I expect to see the headlines, president psychotically lies to a group of school children in Oval office. But it's not. Everybody's laundering these episodes and acting like he's all there as the commander in chief in this war. Pumps, what's your take on all that?
Pumps
First of all, I was alarmed by the entire thing, as you said, the adults standing around. And then I thought, who are the parents that know how Trump behaves and the way he talks and send their kids in there? I just thought that was a fail on the parents. But the whole thing was gross. And I'm like, this is a man that Marco Rubio in this very same episode was on a podium saying he is heartbroken about Iranian people. And he gets in there and he goes on about his greatest hits, about how great he is. He does not give a fuck about anything but how people talk about him and money. That's it. He models that every single day, all day, every day. And it's really stunning to me. Like you said, the adults in the room and the parents that went for this, I just, I was grossed out all the way around.
Main Host
And Reuters is reporting that the Iran nuclear capabilities remain unchanged. Pop this up. US Intelligence assessments indicate that the time Iran would need to build a nuclear weapon has not changed since last summer when analysts estimated that a US Israeli attack had pushed back the timeline to up to a year, according. According to three sources familiar with the matter, the assessments of Tehran's nuclear program remain broadly unchanged even after two months of war that U. S. President Donald Trump launched in part to stop the Islamic Republic from developing a nuclear bomb. So this is Iraq all over again. This, these are lies. This is money wasted. This is an economy that's going into shambles because the Republican Party is bloodthirsty addicted to wars. Every single president does this. And this president in particular is Able to do the govern the way he's governing in such a disastrous way because of two things, in my opinion. Number one, the Supreme Court gave him immunity. And number two, industry titans in this country that have made millions and billions of dollars are proving time and time again that they are really horrific people. And one person is named Bill Ackman. And this guy, it is just the grievances on his Twitter feed that not only are they like 25 pages long, but you would think that this is a man, that is a black man living in America in the 1950s. That's how aggrieved he acts. That's how Elon Musk acts. And these men, these men have had everything lined up for them and they're still not happy. So Bill Ackman completely endorses all of this insanity. Pop this up.
Bill Ackman
I think a major funder of sort of anti American protests and kind of otherwise, I think, you know, that. That war is a very good one.
Main Host
And the war is a very good one.
Bill Ackman
Yeah, I think we've.
Main Host
It's very unpopular though.
Bill Ackman
I don't know. I don't know. Surveys to trust. Look, I think most Republicans. Many Republicans support the president and it shouldn't be a bipartisan issue.
Main Host
Right.
Bill Ackman
You have a.
Main Host
Angie, he's such a great speaker.
Pumps
I mean just flows so well. Here's the thing about this. I just. I don't have words for people that have all this money and all this power and sit there and lie and they. I just had no idea how aggrieved billionaires felt. I really didn't like this administration. They have all come out and told us how pitiful they are. How they, you know, Lauren Sanchez, she. She. She's so brave because she's celebrating. Be a billionaire. Why would anybody that's a billionaire be this fucking miserable? I do not understand it. It kind of like goes in with the alpha male. Trump is the most aggrieved person. He is a victim of everything all of these people are. It's just unbelievable to me.
Main Host
Yeah, there's. There's never been a walking, talking advertisement against the accumulation of wealth. Yes. Than this class of fascist funding, fascist backing billionaires that get on TV like that and lie and gaslight. I don't know what polls to believe. I mean, just get out of here. And just as a side note, this guy, these people just like Lauren Santos. You. I mean, not Lauren Santos. Lauren Santos. Sanchez Bezos. She had to buy her way into the Met Gala. This guy, Bill Ackman is it. Fancies himself a tennis player and he bought him his way into a tennis tournament that he had no business playing in. So. All right. I just wanted to leave that there. That's all we have. Like subscribe Please pre order my book not today, Fascists. This is about all of the fascists that are taking over our country and these worthless billionaires and Christian nationalists that are rubber stamping it anywhere you get your books. We'll be back later with more news.

The episode is delivered in an acerbic, darkly comedic tone, loaded with sarcasm, frank language, and impassioned critique. The hosts amplify the stakes—both personal and systemic—of living under a reality they see as distorted by authoritarianism, cynicism, and propaganda.
Jennifer and Pumps sound the alarm about the dangerous blend of incompetence, gaslighting, and profiteering driving current American foreign and domestic policy. They passionately urge listeners to recognize propaganda and political double-talk for what it is, while skewering the powerful figures they believe put democracy and truth at risk.
