Once appointed special counsel Jack Smith testified in a closed door hearing before the Judiciary. And Jim Jordan, who has covered up crimes his entire ad starting at Ohio State, he purposely made it a closed door hearing despite the fact Jack Smith repeatedly requested to testify in public. But Jim Jordan is again covering up crimes because he didn't want Donald Trump mentioned. And Jack Smith went in and he said exactly what the American people needed to hear, but unfortunately won't hear because it was in a closed door hearing. So put this up. I found this to be fascinating because. So Jack Smith. Kyle Griffin is reporting. Breaking on Ms. Now, Jack Smith in his opening statement to the House Judiciary Committee says our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the Results of the 2020 election Presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power. Obviously I knew that, but my first thought was I am so fucking mad at the Biden administration, I am so mad at Merrick Garland that this man is not in jail. I mean, this in one like little blurb was such an indictment on the failure of Biden to prosecute this raving criminal that is Donald Trump. I just, that was my first gut reaction. What's your gut reaction?
C
Well, you know, I've been beating this drum about being upset with the, the Biden administration before Biden dropped out of the race. I mean, so I have been on beating this for a very long time and the selfishness and the desire to appoint a centrist to the Attorney general, it is absolute failure. There are a lot of people that think out there, and it's something that absolutely should be explored is how much this, this whole idea of controlled opposition, how much is, is there, is that a thing where you have powers that be controlling opposition, that prevent justice from being delivered? And the Biden administration, the failures of that and the failures of the Justice Department to not move so rapidly and the failure of Joe Biden to not two years into his term that he would not run again, tells you the arrogance and the detachment and the disorganization of the Democratic Party. And it is why the Democrats have such a low approval rating and it is why the, the corporate Dems continue to have such a low approval rating. And it's why you see these progressive candidates coming out right now and it's wildly popular. And all of this indictment on centrist Democratic governing. And if you combine this and couple this with the fact that two weeks ago, Hillary Clinton was lecturing people on stage about Tik tok and about people that disagree with her about a genocide. And she's doing this at an event funded by Miriam Adelen, who gave Donald Trump $250 million to in his most recent election. And she just casually mentions, we want you to run again and if you do, which would be unconstitutional, she'll give him another $250 million. Hillary Clinton goes and speaks on her stage. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden and all of these other corporate Dems. Us, they us, they tell us what we want to hear and then they go and they deliver nothing burgers. They deliver incremental change that does nothing. They get power and they're too scared to use it. They bring butter knives to a all out and the Trump regime has assault rifles. The Democrats are weak. They govern as such. And centrist corporate Democratic policies brought us here. And it's not just Joe Biden. There's a whole list of them that participate in this. There's a whole list of them right now that are in office, that are still providing cover for corporations and for morally duplicitous stances that really, really endanger democracy. And they're just full of more than anything, there's so many politicians that are so full of.
B
You're absolutely right. Okay, moving on to Jack Smith's testimony about the classified documents case in Florida. Pop this up, Kyles. Our investigation also developed powerful evidence that showed President Trump willfully retained highly classified documents after he left office in 2021, storing them at his social club, including in a bathroom and a ballroom where events and gatherings took place. He then repeatedly tried to obstruct justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents. And I just want to point out something that just kind of got whitewashed in news because the headlines and that flood the zone theory of Trump. But Donald Trump's handpicked judge, Aline Cannon, was the federal prosecutor assigned to the Mar A Lago documents case. And she gave Trump rulings one right after the other. She sealed the records from Jack Smith's investigation and said they could not be made public on a temporary basis. Within the last 30 days, the Trump administration and the Justice Department have filed a motion with her to permanently bar the public from ever being made aware about what's in Jack Smith's investigation. And my thought is, well, of Course they did, because they know it would be so obvious that he knowingly retained documents that belonged to the American people and he obstructed justice because why would he not want to clear his name? Why would he not say, release the investigations? I didn't do this. His investigation notes will and evidence will show that I didn't do it. But he wants to conceal it because he's guilty as sin and he knows it. So again, I'm just like, if we would have, you know, if we would have gone in with a search warrant in the beginning instead of waiting until years after this started. But we didn't, because like you said, Biden and his little control opposition, they were like, well, you know, maybe Trump will go away. I don't know what they were thinking. But whatever they were thinking, it us because we're in the middle of an authoritarian takeover to the government. But, I mean, this didn't surprise me. Are you surprised by this, Jennifer?
C
No, I'm not surprised by this. And Trump can all he wants to keep them sealed forever. The majority of Americans saw the images of the files in his hideously decorated Mar a Lago bathroom. And that we all know, I mean, we, we, we all know this man is a criminal. Everybody in the United States knows this man is a criminal because he is a convicted felon. We all know he took the stuff that he thinks is his to which belongs to the American people, to his private golf club. The larger indictment here is on the people specifically. There's a lot of white Americans that think that the rules that apply to everybody else don't apply to a rich white man. Had Obama had stolen documents from the White House, they would have drug him out in handcuffs. He would have been in a solitary confinement cell with an expedited trial. We're playing two different games here. The grace and the deferential treatment to Donald Trump by both the Biden administration and by the electorate is a damning indictment on American culture and its tendency to favor white wealthy men over everybody else. And if a wealthy white man does these things, then we're not going to talk about patriotism. We're not going to talk about this belonging to the people. It's a misunderstanding. And he was trying to take it away, away from the deep state and all of this. If anybody else had these documents, it would have been treated and tried an entirely different place, entirely different way. So what we have to come to terms with is that lady justice is blind is we tell ourselves these platitudes as American citizens to make us feel better and we don't exercise it. We don't do it. A lot of our ideals are bullshit and platitudes that we use as a bombing salve to make us feel a little bit better. And then we don't walk the walk and talk the talk. We just talk the talk with this shit. We don't walk the walk. And the Democrats, capitulation in Donald Trump from Joe Biden and Merrick Garden, Garland not bringing this to trial as quickly as possible. And the Democrats who now continually vote with Trump and for his batshit appointments. It's just platitudes. I'm so sick of politicians and members of the electorate that just talk the talk. Start walking the walk because this is a 911-houses-on fire situation.

I completely agree. And then, you know, Jack Smith, he is raked over the coals by the Republicans. But grand juries indicted Trump. I believe Jack Smith would have gone balls to the walls on this from day one, like January totally first, but nobody allowed it. And that's what we have to really look at as Democrats. Are we willing to sit there and say, you know, democracy's in jeopardy, yet we're the controlled opposition, but we're going to play integrity politics. Like we have got to get off our asses and start fight, fighting like the war, you know, fighting against this regime. Like they have turned the fight to us. So hopefully at one point we'll hear more from Jack Smith, but if the Republicans have anything to do do with it, we will not. So please like this video, subscribe to our channel and we will be back with more news.
