The United States of America is in a world of hurt because the President of the United States is a convicted felon, a con man in a world class incompetent. So then my brain goes to how did the Democrats lose to this man? That to me is so important for the dnc, for the Democratic National Committee. How, how did we lose to him? What can we do to better ourselves? How can we fix ourselves? Well, as you know, they did a big autopsy and then Ken Martin, the leader of the dnc said they weren't going to release it to the public, which to me was like, how can we be an opposition party if we don't believe in transparency, if we're not going to purge? Like this is what happened and here's how we're going to fix it. If we're going to, if the DNC is going to treat the electorate in that way, in such a condescending way, we're not going to tell you why we lost, but we want your vote. That to me is not really building a good coalition. Well, here's what's starting to drip out, which a lot of people have expected. Top Democrats conducting a still secret 2024 election autopsy concluded Kamala Harris lost meaningful support over the Biden administration's handling of Gaza. This is per axios. In a closed door meeting, DNC officials told the pro Palestinian IMEU Policy Project their data showed the policy was a net negative, especially with young and progressive voters. So here's my take on this. You have current politicians that could win a general election. Like take a look at Gavin Newsom. And instead of him reaching out to the progressive base of the party, he is doing podcasts with the late Charlie Kirk with Ben Shapiro. And I don't understand why the Democratic Party doesn't reach out to the progressive side, especially when you see progressives winning everywhere. Why is it this civil war within the Democratic Party that you have these people that are going to cling on to corporate interests so hard and then smush down any sort of open minded progressive voices? And I think we know why. Because corporations pay the DNC more than progressive individuals do. And so this is such a serious exist existential threat to the country that the DNC I think is never going to win elections again unless they get serious about being a true opposition party. And that means opposing a blank check to Benjamin Netanyahu as a war criminal. Americans do not want their taxpayer money going to fund a genocide. And then after we've funded it, you have Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, Benjamin Netanyahu talking about raising Gaza, and they're all going to make. Make billions of dollars. And for the Democratic Party not to be in opposition to that, I just think it shows such a disrespect and a patronizing voice to the people who they want their vote and they want their trust. I think it's just such a disgrace. And so, if you look to the Democratic primary race in Chicago, here is a video that I think completely encapsulates the difference between a progressive Democrat that is not beholden to corporations, that is not beholden to apac, and then corporate Democrats. Watch this clip. Support Hakeem Jeffries continued leadership of the House Democrats. Okay, for those of you watching, pause it right there. Kylie. Okay. The lady on the left, after about 10 seconds, she said, okay, yes, I want Hakeem to still be the leader in the House. The guy in the middle won't commit. Classic Democrat. Won't pick a side, pick me. I don't want to say the wrong thing. And then Cat, she immediately puts up, nope, she does not think that Hakeem Jeffries should be the leader of the Democratic Party. And here's the thing. Kat's opinion is not some fringe leftist idea. The majority of Americans are profoundly disappointed in Hakeem Jeffries. And Chuckles Schumer. People want new leadership. People want politicians that don't take money from Palantir, that don't take money from apac, and then tell us to shut up and vote blue, no matter who. And here is a tweet right here from Hakeem Jeffries over the weekend, and he says, Democrats want dramatic reform at dhs. Republican extremists would rather shut down tsa. You deserve better. And what I have to say to the minority leader is we don't just want dramatic reforms at DHS. We want ICE abolished. 70% of Democrats want ICE abolished. ICE is not even that old of a organization. It started under George W. Bush. We don't need it. We don't need a goon squad where these compensatory narcissists that have been given a green light by the Supreme Court to go racially, profile people in the streets and harass people and shoot people and then put people in concentration camps. That needs zero funding. We don't want it to be reformed. We want it to be abolished. And so to further illustrate this point to you guys, here is Governor Josh Shapiro. Josh Shapiro is governor of Pennsylvan. And in many ways, he can say a lot of great things. But I KNEW during the 2024 election, I saw him sign some bombs that were going to Israel that were going to then kill Palestinians. And I've always been of the mindset, like I remember during the Iraq war, I remember talking to my mother and like all of these Iraqis were getting killed. And I'm not one of these people that just thinks, oh yeah, go get them. We all, we also thought the George W. Bush administration was lying. But it's, it's a pause when you're going to send bombs to kill people and you know that innocent people are going to get killed no matter what country they're from, no matter what their religion is, no matter what color their skin is. The fact that he was signing the bombs was so off putting to me. But here he is on the news over the weekend and he cannot answer a simple yes or no question. This is the shit that corporate centrist Democrats do that makes us lose. This is a perfect encapsulation of this. Play the clip.
A
This ABC News Washington Post Ipsos poll found that 70% of Democrats support abolishing ICE. Do you support abolishing ICE?
C
I think what's clear is that ICE is not working. What's clear is that they've been engaged in unconstitutional practices and that needs to be fixed. And I think the first step is what the Congress of the United States is doing right now to try and put some controls on that. And I want to see those controls be put into effect again.
A
But control's not abolished.
C
I'm not going to get caught up in labels here. It's what I said to you.
A
It's not a label really. It's do you get rid of them all together or do you try to do it better?
C
I think what is clear is that the manner in which they are being directed in is a manner that directs them.
B
Okay, Governor Shapiro, what is clear is that this way that corporate Democrats like you, when you answer questions like that, it is so condescending to the electorate. Pick a side. You either want to continue funding ICE or you don't. But these words salad pick me answers. I don't want to offend anybody, drive people to a demagogue that lies because at least it appears like he stands for something. This I'm going to hang out in the middle. I'm not going to pick a side. I'm not going to have moral clarity is why Democrats lose the Josh Shapiro governing style. While effective in, in some ways, I can't just throw the baby out with the water. But we have to get Politicians that quit playing it where they want everybody to like them. Because who is he trying to get on board here? Is he trying to get independent voters? Because independent voters want to abolish ICE as well. So I then have to turn to why is a politician like John Josh Shapiro, why isn't he answering this honestly? I mean, at this point in the fascist takeover, we've seen Americans killed in the streets. Why aren't we getting honest answers? And it has to go back to, he is beholden to corporate interests. He has no problem signing bombs that kill little kids. He has no problem putting his name on that. And I think that breaks something in people. I think when you take corporate money and you cherry pick, these kids can get killed, these kids can't get killed. I think it breaks something in you. And then you get this, you know, milk toast, word salad responses. And the Democratic Party is never going to be able to build a coalition if they keep trying to peel off a few MAGA voters versus getting the base, the progressive base, reach out to them, make concessions there. Because that's where all the activity is. That's where the get out the vote drive is. That's where you can build a decades long coalition. But the Democratic establishment is always trying to appeal to the conservatives and not the progressives. And I just think it's such a fool's errand. Here's another example of this. Congressman Tom Suozzi, he's the guy who voted for funding DHS and ice. And you want to know why he funded because he owns Palantir stock. So think about that. We have such a broken political system and the Democrats, if you want to be a party that is different from the Republicans, you have to be different. You cannot take money from Palantir and then vote to fund ICE and then say, we're so opposed to everything that Donald Trump does, they seem corrupt. And so in my opinion, the autopsy goes as this. People that take APAC money, no toxic. We cannot give Israel a blank check, period. We cannot. We have too many problems of our own. Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. He is committing war crimes every single day. The ceasefire has been a joke. Secondly, the Democrats need to say, if you're going to be a congressperson that trades stocks, we're not going to put the DNC branding behind you. We're simply not. Because we have to be different. We have to be the party of moral clarity. And that's going to involve shedding ourselves of this double dealing with corpor. And lastly, I want to bring you to a person who has been doing this the right way, which is the mayor of New York, Zoran Mamdani. Ryan Grimm of Dropsite News has this analysis. He says the right making fun of this is a major opening for the left. People broadly and deeply believe in the value of coming together as a community in a time of need. It can be a jumping off point to demonstrate how a world of cooperation is better than their alternative. So here's what he's talking about. Huge blizzard in New York. Zoron goes to the people and this is a big right wing account chief nerd. And they're like making like. This is breaking news. Zoran Momdani calls on New Yorkers to shovel snow during tomorrow's blizzard. They're freaking out about this video. Play the clip.
D
Rising 33 DSNY vans and two DSNY buses to transport shovelers where they're needed faster. And for those who want to do more to help your neighbors and earn some extra cash, you too can become an emergency snow shoveler. Just show up at your local sanitation garage between 8am and 1pm tomorrow with your paperwork, which is accessible online@nyc.gov snow and you can get started right away.
B
Okay, so the right wing is freaking out because he is offering jobs to New Yorkers that want to earn extra money. That also a job that helps contribute to the community. And that's the difference. That's the fundamental difference. Right wingers make fun of working class people. Do you see that? How they make fun of aoc, how they're making fun here of Zoron who is offering New Yorkers that want to earn extra money. And that's the moral difference. And then you've got Josh Shapiro and Hakeem Jeffries playing Patty cake with murderous ICE agents. Like the Democratic Party has got to get it together. This is the Democratic Party who ran an establishment candidate who lost a primary against Zoran Mamdani because they are so scared of pissing off corporations that they would rather be a fascist light party than be a party of the people, by the people, for the people. So DNC fire Ken Miller, rip the band aid off and get serious this. We do not want to give up our country to these greedy, selfish, unpatriotic billionaires that want to control both sides and have no problem killing people, no matter what skin color, what their citizenship is. It's something that both parties seem to have in common right now. And I would like to be a member of a political party that opposes that. All right? That's all I have like subscribe Comment. I'll be back later with more news.
