Let's do a little check in on the MAGA women. These are the women that want to carry the water for the patriarchy, carry the water for the fascists. And they never learn the lesson of Mike Pence. And the lesson of Mike Pence is this. They will go after everybody. They will scapegoat women. They will scapegoat immigrants. They will scapegoat LGBTQ plus people. They will even scapegoat white Republican Christian men if you don't go along with the lies. So this gamble that these MAGA women are taking is a real psychological case study for me. And Marjorie Taylor Greene is speaking publicly about the president's response to death threats against her family for speaking out against him and his administration's handling of the Epstein files.
Let's play the clip from Donald Trump. And I've saved these text messages. I'd probably get put in jail if I released them publicly, but I saved them where Donald Trump proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that I deserve it if my son gets killed. I deserve it because I was a traitor to him. That is our president of the United States. That's the man that says MAGA is whatever he wants it to be.
And again, she didn't learn the Mike Pence lesson. She didn't understand that this man that was so loyal, that went along with the lies, went along with the gaslighting, went along with all of the craziness in Trump 1.0 after January 6th. She saw the gallows. We all saw it. They wanted to lynch him. She thought she was going to be the exception. And then she just said in her own words, he doesn't care if her own son gets killed because she was disloyal. And I don't know how to teach people like this. You're not special. I don't know. I don't know what level of narcissism this stuff is.
Well, it's narcissism and it goes right along with religion. I mean, it's not. So many decades ago I thought I was special because God had chosen me. And all of these people are super evangelicals. But. But my thought is this. Donald Trump doesn't give a fuck about his own kids. I mean, that's obvious. Why would Marjorie Taylor Greene think that he gave a fuck about her kids? And then another thing that has fascinated me, and I've read all these books about people in his administration. Trump demands loyalty above everything else. That is his number one thing. Yet he's never, ever loyal to anyone. And that has just been a pattern over and over and over again. So I'm always just like, huh, took you this long.
And following the President's unplanned health visit last weekend, Nancy Mace tweeted that she was praying for the president. And there's new reporting that the Trump camp hopes to sideline her bid for South Carolina. After all of those prayers, he's trying to sideline her. Let's pop this up. Axios is reporting. Team Trump fears a Nancy Mace governorship. You know, find myself strange bedfellows there because I fear a Nancy Mace governorship as well. President Trump's allies are growing alarmed that GOP Rep. Nancy Mace, who infuriated him by calling for the release of the Epstein files, will defy expectations and win the South Carolina governor's race.
Angie, I watch the South Carolina races because I have a friend that lives there and Lindsey Graham, and I don't think she's even close. I mean, the polling that I've seen doesn't even sound like she'll win the primary, but that's not important. What I think about this whole thing is Nancy Mace has done everything he's asked her to do. He's gone on, she's gone on the news. She's been crazy and defended him when his behavior and actions were indefensible. And she stood up to him one time about sexually assaulting and raping children. But he's for that and she's not. So he's cutting the cord. I just find it so interesting that all of these people like, well, Nancy Mace is out. She has been straight down the line with you on everything, but you're in on protecting pedophiles and being pedophiles, and she's not like, that's the distinction. And none of these Republicans decrying it.
I'm gonna push back on a little bit of that. I think Nancy Mace is for covering up for pedophiles, because you don't get to have it both ways. You don't get to straddle the way she's straddling. I want the Epstein files released. And then I'm praying for President Trump. This is the duplicity that is born out of MAGA where people think they can have it both ways. Not just people in government, but people we know personally, people in your personal lives that like, oh, I'm totally for gay marriage. And then they triple trump this rotten moral duplicity that exists in America where people don't have conviction. Even Nancy Mace doesn't have conviction in standing up for child rape. How do you think the victims of this felt when they see her tweet, pray for President Trump? You know, th. This is moral duplicity. This is moral rot. She is just riding the train that, that the polling is that people want the Epstein files released. People in her district want the Epstein files released. Six months ago, everybody in the Trump regime was like, cash Patel and Donald Trump are going to release the Epstein files. And so she followed that wave. And then she probably saw a poll where she said where she sees that Donald Trump still has 80% or something of Republican voters. And so I just, I call on a lot of Marjorie Taylor Green. She cares all of a sudden about Palestinian children. Well, what about documented and or undocumented kids in America? She doesn't seem to care about them. So I think these people are opportunists. I don't think they believe in anything and I'm not ready to give out trophies to any of them. And meanwhile, other conservatives are slowly starting to realize that this president and his policies don't actually work for them. Riley Gaines has been going through some things and she posted the following video. Let's play the clip.
Riley Gaines
Precious little angel. In September of last year, it is April, nearly May of the next year and I am getting bills in the mail nearly every single week. Let's look at them. Okay, this one is a bill for $2,000. The service description literally just says vaginal birth. Here's another bill for $1,261. What's the description for. Actually, it doesn't even say.
Political Commentator
Yeah, yeah, well, exactly. This is, this is being an American trying to navigate the for profit health care system and every policy that you support and your triple Trump endorsement, end versus greedy corporations that profit off of people trying to get medical care. While at the same time you're a big what would Jesus do, girl? What would Jesus do, Riley? Jesus would make sure everybody had health care. Jesus would think we cannot profit off of people's sicknesses. That seems immoral. Yet here she is, she's going to straddle. She is going to straddle this, these morals. And this is the fundamental problem, not just with Riley Gaines, not just with people up in the Trump administration, but with everyday Americans. They think they can have it both ways. All of a sudden these bills impact her, right? And then what happens? Riley adopts a progressive position. All of these people, they want to say, look at all these crazy liberals. The truth of the matter is these companies are parasitic. They prey off of sick people, they deny people getting life saving treatment. And then you have the Riley Gaines who will go shill for them on Fox News until it personally affects her. And then all of a sudden, what is she for? Medical, Medicare for all? Now is she going to adopt a progressive position? If her child there ends up being gay or a member of the LGBTQ plus, then is she going to adopt a progressive position? Because it seems to me like so many Americans in this culture of individualism over collectivism, they don't give a about anything until it personally affects them. And this sort of myopic selfishness is taught to them and it's reinforced to them through this American culture. And the libs of Tick Tock, they're going through some things as well. And this is a. They're a prominent conservative influencer. And let's look at her screen grab. Last week I randomly got a nine thousand dollar bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because at Aetna can just decide they're not interested in covering something and then you're left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact. This is in addition to a two thousand dollar bill that I already paid. They just don't want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium. Meanwhile, here comes the racism. Meanwhile, illegals get free health care. Honestly, you Aetna. I'm going to do everything I can to destroy you libs of TikTok. Do it. Take down Aetna. Do it, big girl. Put on your big girl panties and do it. And also, it's a lie. Illegal immigrants do not get free health care. That is a lie.
It's, it's, here's the thing having come from, I mean, I was that person, as you know, that if it didn't affect me personally, why would I give a shit about it? I'm special, I'm entitled, I'm righteously able to judge other People, because of my evangelical Christian indoctrination, these two go hand in hand. That is why it's so easy for all of these people to say, well, I shouldn't have to pay a bill, but a poor person should, like, because I'm better. It's unbelievable, the dissonance and all of the things that you do. And it's only when you realize I am not special, I am not chosen. Everybody's problems should affect me. I should care about everybody's problems. Not because Jesus was empathetic, but because your moral compass is like, what is so special about me? I'll tell you what, it is fucking nothing. I am no better than anybody else and I have to fight for everybody like I'm fighting for myself. And, and you just. I'm telling you, there are millions and millions of people, particularly in the Bible Belt, that only care about something if it happens to them, period.
I know aware, living in the Bible belt for 50 plus years, I'm abundantly aware of the most, the least empathetic people I've ever met are evangelical Christians. Their ability to completely demean anybody in need is, is, is really, it's overwhelming and overwhelmed me. The moral rot of evangelical megachurch culture is just really. It's something that is so cruel and they feast on the recreational cruelty of it. I had multiple conversations with women when I was raising my kids. It was during the Obama era, who were just overtly religious. I mean, just overtly would not shut up about how religious they were. And I'd say, well, what about, you know, health care? And I had a lady straight up look at me and say, well, I think I should have it. I think health care is a privilege. I don't think everybody should have it. And I said, but you're a follower of Christ. Well, yes. And it's just all rambled and jumbled up in there. And the Republican Party has brilliantly co opted this moral rod of that voting group. And they are the most cancerous part of American culture. They're co opted by the Russians, they're co opted by the pro life movement, they're co opted by the billionaires, co opted by Maga because they don't believe in anything. They believe in nothing. All right? And then Megyn Kelly, you know, we had been covering how she had jumped off the Trump train and was criticizing Trump and all this. It's just these people are true nihilists. They believe in nothing. Play the clip.

Now, obviously you endorsed him. So what did you get wrong, if anything, that you believe will ultimately cost the GOP in the midterms when it comes to Trump. Can you explain that?
Political Commentator
I don't think I got anything wrong because I would endorse him again. You know, I don't regret endorsing him. And I thank God still that he won. What did I say to you pumps last week?
You said, she'll be right back on there.
All of these people, every single person in the that is saying, oh my gosh, we made a mistake in your personal lives. They will go quadruple Trump if he's able to get around this amendment. They will be quad Trumpers and they will do it enthusiastically in. The lesson in that Megyn Kelly clip is far deeper than her breathtaking, pathetic, nihilistic hypocrisy. The lesson in that is this, Democrats, you cannot move to the center to try to pluck off these reasonable Republicans. That is an oxymoron. There are no reasonable Republicans. Liz Cheney is not a reasonable Republican. She, she perpetrated a very dangerous lie that is causing women right now to have massive health issues, massive health issues in these abortion ban states. You're never going to peel off these reasonable Republicans because Republicans are not reasonable people. They voted for a man that we have all seen now for 11 years on the international stage that says he can grab them by the. That is an adjudicated rapist. That is in the Epstein files over a million times. That bankrupted casinos. That is total con artist that rambles on about insane asylums. I could just go on and on and on. Every time he gets the keys to the White House, what does he do? He wrecks the economy. There is nothing reasonable about any of this. And anybody who showed up three times to triple Trump, I promise you with everything in me, they will show up. They will pull up the fourth time. They will. Because it. They cannot allow this level of honesty and introspection into their lives. There is a money component to it, but deeper than that, these people love the permission structure that Trump gives them to engage in racism.
I agree with that.
These people that felt very liberating for them after Obama, they felt liberated and behind the scenes and closed doors. These triple Trumpers, they were having to whisper the N word during the Obama era and now they're able to say it freely and more openly. And they're also seeing a return on that investment. They're seeing black people get fired from government jobs and the Pentagon qualified people that have done nothing wrong. They're seeing women get fired. So they're seeing a return on their investment into racism. And this is not something that common sense or empathy is going to fix in these people. They're broken. So the Democrats quit trying to campaign to them. Do not go to the center, go left. Because as I pointed out, all of these people will adopt a progressive position when something personally affects them. Our positions aren't crazy fringe. They are something that benefits everybody. And I would even say as an atheist, in the way that Jesus would want us to care for one another. All right, that's all we have. Like and subscribe. And we will be back later with more news. Sam.
Episode: MAGA Women Finally Implode; They Speak Out After Realizing Trump Is Ruining Their Lives
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Date: May 11, 2026
In this candid, sharply comedic episode, Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan dig deep into a wave of high-profile conservative women publicly clashing with Trumpism after personal consequences hit home. The hosts explore the unraveling loyalty within the MAGA movement, singling out figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nancy Mace, and Riley Gaines. They use these case studies to dissect larger patterns of hypocrisy, moral opportunism, and lack of empathy among right-wing figures and their evangelical base. Ultimately, the hosts urge Democrats to reject appeals to “reasonable Republicans” and emphasize progressive, collectivist solutions for all Americans.
Jennifer and Angie end the episode with a clarion call: evidence is overwhelming that MAGA loyalty is transactional and brittle. When MAGA women find their lives directly harmed by the very policies and leaders they support, they often belatedly and temporarily adopt progressive stances—until tribalism reasserts itself. Democrats, the hosts insist, should stop chasing a mythic moderate right and champion policies that work for everyone, rooted in empathy and collective well-being.
