The meltdown over Zoran Mamdani's victories in the primaries are reaching a fever pitch of just hysteria, both on the left and on the right. But let's start with the right first. Let's start with Jesse Waters being the racist that he is on the racist news organization Fox News. Play the clip around welfare. This is a third World takeover.
Political Commentator 2
This is what happens when you import the third world.
Political Commentator 1
Did you know that New York City is 70% non white, 40% foreign born?
Political Commentator 2
50% of the apartments, they don't even speak English, not even their first language.
Political Commentator 1
Okay, that is just such a xenophobic, hateful garbage. But 50% of the people in New York City don't speak English. I'm here every single day. I've never come across one person that doesn't speak English literally. Not one. So I don't know what he's talking about there. But secondly, what this has to do with when they say foreign born. Melania Trump is foreign born. Ted Cruz is born in Canada. Elon Musk is foreign born. But what do they all have in common? They're all white. And so the problem that Jesse Waters has and the problem that a lot of people have is that this slate, this DSA slate are they've got some melanin in their skin. And that's what really bothers Jesse Waters.
Political Commentator 3
Oh, he can't take it. And I when he's ranting on about this, I'm thinking it's the largest city in the world, it's the hub of the financial district. It is successfully Paying for all these other, you know, counties and states. So aren't you, by definition, if that's what your definition of New York City is, aren't you saying how successful cities are with multiculturalism? Is that. I mean, if you take the backwards view of that, yes, it's right. It's supremacy and racism out the gazoo. But at the end of the day, New York is successful versus Oklahoma City.
Political Commentator 1
But that's not the propaganda that they sell to the Fox viewers, to the Fox viewer, to the audience that he's injecting this into. New York City is a communist crime, just lawless, tyrannical space. And so when he says that stuff, it lands. It hits hard with them because they're not starting at a baseline fact or a baseline critical thinking. But you're right. The fact of the matter is the state of New York gives more than it receives. When then you get to a state like Oklahoma, it's a taker state. California is a donor state. But the Fox News audience will never hear that the true parasites in the United States of America are the white in these red states with Republican super majorities that suck off of these states that have economies, that produce a ton of tax capital, that fund the underfunded Bible belt states. And moving along, Stephen Miller, of course, you know, total white nationalist. I just want to remind everybody, his wife went on Abby Phillips and was mad at Abby Phillips because you went on Jennifer Welch's podcast and she called my husband a white nationalist. Well, he is, Katie. He is a white nationalist. He reminds me exactly of a Nazi, specifically Joseph Goebbels. I mean, it's uncanny, the resemblance and the speeches. It's as though he's translated them from German to English. And here he is being a white nationalist and being just an absolute dick. Pop this up. Change the voters, change the country. This is insane. I mean, this is great replacement theory Nazi. You know, this is really evil, evil, evil, evil stuff. And this guy has ascended to the highest forms of the federal government, so much so that people around the White House and in the Oval Office refer to him as Mr. Prime Minister.
Political Commentator 3
I think that Stephen Miller has probably has a workbook at home. What, what did the Nazis do next? And he has a plan. Because when you read about what's going on behind the scenes at the White House, it's urgency. We've got to make everything an emergency. And Trump calls everything an emergency. That's a key part of white supremacy. You have to prioritize the people with money. It's really stunning that Somebody who has been a fucking racist, bigoted pig his whole life. He could only be in this administration because Trump digs it and the people around him dig it. And I can affirm to you that the Fox News viewers in my family, that hit hard for them, they like saying that because they want white people to control everybody else.
Political Commentator 1
All right? And then Katie Miller chimes in on Twitter. Pop this up. New York will now be run by foreign communists. Immigration is the issue of our lifetime. Okay? This is like, okay. And I want the Democratic base to understand this. They have been saying forever, Barack Obama is a socialist, communist, Marxist, radical leftist, Vernon Scum that was born in Kenya. This is not new. This is all they have. So socialism, democratic socialism, is really penetrating because the Democratic Party has failed to deliver materially for its citizens. Democratic socialists talking about the needs of everyday Americans that neither party has been able to deliver. So now they're going to move the Overton window a bit and they're going to harp on communism. That's going to be the new thing. I heard Trump in the Oval yesterday talking about they're communists. They're all communists. I mean, Trump could not tell you what communism is, all right? And I doubt that Katie Miller could. And Katie Miller saying immigration is the issue of our lifetime in the face of the affordability crisis right now shows you how divorce from reality is. And let's just talk about Katie Miller. Katie Miller lives in public housing. Socialism. Katie Miller's husband has a government job. Katie Miller's entire life is railing against the very system in which she lives. So the hypocrisy on all of this is. Is so incredibly rich, but at the core of this is a story as old as time. Scapegoat. Scapegoat, Scapegoat, Scapegoat marginalized people. Scapegoat poor people so that you can do a bunch of corrupt criming at the top of the ticket. And here's what they're scared about most. This is what all of these white supremacists are most, most scared about. All right? Because Katie Miller is not concerned about immigration. If she was, she would be concerned about Melania Trump and Elon Musk and Peter Thiel. But they're all white and they're all maggots. She didn't give a about them. But here's Elon Musk's dad, and here's a quote that he said, pop this up. Elon Musk's dad, Errol, says the US Is doomed if white people become the minority. And Evan loves Wharf. Great follow on Twitter. You guys always monitoring what Elon Musk is doing. His excellent analysis says nothing scares rich right wing white people more than the idea that they will be treated the way they treat nonwhite people. And I think he nails it. There is a admission in Katie Miller and Stephen Miller's and Donald Trump's speaking out about immigration. They don't want people to be able to fail forward the same way they do because somewhere deep inside them they know, know they're not the smartest people in the room. They know they don't have the best ideas in the room. How do we know this? Because they're borrowing ideas from Nazi Germany. A failed experiment that led to a holocaust of millions of people. But they're trying it again because they're so inferior and they're so terrified that Zoran Mandani or that Barack Obama isn't white. But they're smarter, they're better looking, they're more liked. And I could go on and on and on down the list. Black excellence or brown excellence exposes white mediocrity and they can't stomach it.
Political Commentator 3
Yeah, I would just say that. I keep thinking when I, when I was reading all this and seeing all this, I thought what you thought they're going by the Nazi playbook. Do they not know how that story ended? And do they think that they can make a better outcome? Because we all, anybody that knows history knows how this ends. And it's, I guess it goes back to they can only see what they want, they can't see consequences. But it's really stunning that it's like they're driving down a cliff as fast as they can go, thinking they'll never crash. And, and in reality, history shows us this never ends well.
Political Commentator 1
I think that it's a feature of this type of ideology to be short sighted. I think that it's like they put out little mini fires as they go along, but there's a raging inferno beyond the hills that they are incapable of seeing, which just exacerbates their feelings of mediocrity. These are not people that are tempered, that pause, that play the tape through, that are mindful and thoughtful. These are impulsive maniacs. All of them are impulsive maniacs. So I think that inability to see consequences and the inability to read a book and see how these, you know, authoritarian rules end up, you know, with the people furious at the elites, etc, I think that that's a feature of it, the shortsightedness and then that's what the right wing, that's their meltdown about what happened in New York City. And then there is some Democratic establishment push back on this as well. Pop this up. All right. Leticia James, she and other political leaders she's spoken to are, quote, disappointed in Mom Donnie. All of us are a little frustrated with the Democratic Party, but you don't blow it up. That's what MAGA has done. In CNN reports, one particularly notable critic of his endorsements in Tuesday' primaries was New York Attorney General Letitia James, a key backer during his campaign. So Letitia James endorsed Zoron Mandani. She says some of the candidates that he has supported are individuals who do not understand the politics of New York City, the cultural differences from district to district, who have not been a part of the history and the struggle of some of these districts, but are relatively new to the body of politic. James told cnn, pointing particular to what she said was Mom Donnie's lack of understanding of race and class issues that run deep. I'm going to say I support Mom Donnie. I support what he did, but I think this is a fair critique. Letitia James is a black woman. Letitia James, ex experience in America is something that I can't speak on and I'll never be able to speak on because I'm a white woman. All right, listener. I value my sleep above just about anything else. And when I feel like I'm getting horrible sleep, I always think I need a reset. I need a total bed reset. And oftentimes it's not the mattress, it's the sheets that can make the biggest impact. And that's why I recently switched to bowl and branch. They create everything you need to make your bed feel finished. Signature sheets, supportive pillows, cozy blankets and luxurious comforters all crafte from high quality organic materials. I could immediately feel the quality the first night I slept in these sheets. And this bedding has actually improved my sleep and my comfort. And get this, the sheets have gotten even softer after washing. My bed feels so much better than it did before. opportunity builder, Zoron responded to her with this Play the clip.
Political Commentator 2
I think what is the Democratic Party if not its voters? And what we saw yesterday evening were Democrats across the city turning out and voting for a new kind of politics. And I've been clear time and time again that I believe the only majority in our country is that of the working class. And what we saw is that a focus on the working class, whether it's from Claire, whether it's from Dariel Issa, whether it's from Brad, is the kind of focus that New Yorker want to see.
Political Commentator 1
Okay, this is the point where I don't think everything is so binary. I think that Zoron blew up the Democratic Party in his mayoral race and Tish James, who I respect deeply, I think she's a very accomplished, intelligent, badass fighter. I, I just, I honestly am in awe of her. I think she's incredible and she supported Zoron. Her complaints there are something because as we mentioned earlier, New York City is so multicultural. What I like about this disagreement right here, as opposed to a lot of, a lot of the other mudslinging, is that I trust Zoron and the DSA and Letitia James and other members of the Democratic Party to sit down and objectively, critically think, to find consensus to I think that they are all adults in the room. I think that Zoron and Letitia James can work through ways to build a coalition here. I don't see this as oh my God, Letitia James is so mad at Zoron, right? Zoron shot his shot and you know, he took a swing and he hit it out of the ballpark. But you do have a very multicultural city here and the black experience is the longest, most abusive, most oppressed, most under recognized experience in the electorate. And I trust that Zoron and others in the DSA will sit down to build a bridge here. And I think it's incredibly important because we have to build a gigantic coalition not only to defeat fascism, but to deliver for Americans to make reparations to the black population. That always gets poo pooed. It's always, oh, this form of bigotry is on the rise. This form of bigotry is on the rise. And black people are like, we've been telling you guys everybody's racist around here. And so I, I welcome this conversation and I welcome this disagreement and I think it's incredibly healthy.
Political Commentator 3
I completely agree because I, I only learn and get better when I have a disagreement or something is pointed out that I'm doing or saying that, you know, needs work. I think people have to work together. I think these two can't. My concern, well, I welcome getting together and talking and differences of opinion and perspective. My concern overarchingly is that the constituents of the Democratic Party have continued vote in a way that shows the establishment what they're thinking, but the leaders continue to ignore that and move forward with the same old, same old.
Political Commentator 1
Yeah, I think that that is a very important conversation that's separate from this one with Letitia James.
Political Commentator 3
Agree.
Political Commentator 1
I think that because Letitia James was an outspoken supporter of Zoron and understands the material undeliverables that are on the ground, but also the backbone of the Democratic Party are black people, is the black, is the black voter bloc. And if Letitia James is saying this and she was a Zoron supporter, my overall point is I, I, I think these are healthy conversations for Zoron and Leticia to sit down to build a coalition. How do we deliver for people? How does the DSA and the Democratic establishment, how, how can we find common ground? But I'm 100 with you pumps that there's a lot of corporate Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries, Richie Torres, Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker that will fight to the bitter end against what the the voters have to say. And I believe that those Democrats are just as beholden to fascism as MAGA is because they're funders in their donor class. They service way more than they do the electorate. All right, that's all we have. Like subscribe comment. We'll be back later with more news.
