The make pedophiles great again party continues to go out of its way to cover up for Jeffrey Epstein and all of the people in those files. And we're also seeing the Pardon J. Sixers just constantly on my feed being arrested for crimes against children. And here we have one that was convicted just yesterday. A US Capitol riot rioter pardoned by Trump found guilty of sex abuse. He is not the only one. And I look at this, it's just pedophile after pedophile on I think in September I got a thing. It was like 20 people that are super MAGA outspoken. They're being arrested for sex crimes against children. So that's why they're not so up in arms about Jeffrey Epstein and they're willing to overlook Trump covering it up because it's just so, it's just all lined in that party, so many of them.

Well, I mean, I think we can see with the Jeffrey Epstein files that the sex crimes can happen regardless of political affiliation. I do think there is a psychological component with people that fall prey to MAGA cultists where they are seeking atonement in a party that is more rigid morally, more black and white morally, because they think that will fix them. And so you have people that have very suppressed sexual issues, probably raised in uber, uber, uber religious homes where sex was shameful. And so they, all of these sexual deviancies and sexual crimes come out of that and they think, okay, they were raised in this authoritarian religion, raised in this authoritarian home, and then they find home in this and refuge in this authoritarian fascist regime. And we, these are like the most broken people among us. These are closed minded people. And I do agree with you that it's. There seems to be more of this happening on the right. But I would be remiss and intellectually dishonest if you can go to other countries where they don't have MAGA movements and you still have child sex trafficking even in Scandinavia and places that are super. So this is a problem that exists outside of political parties. But it sure does seem the people that are, you know, posting that Biden's a pedo and all this stuff, which I don't think Biden's in the Epstein files once it does seem that they continue to get arrested and when you go look at their social media, you know, they were all against all of this and then they're doing it exactly what they're protesting against.

Absolutely. And then all of the conspiracy theories of maga. We have seen so many lies from the FBI, from the doj they just lie, they make up shit. You know, if somebody is murdered, they immediately go to, oh, well, they're trans. They always have a narrative and they always put it against their enemies. So we saw that the El Paso airport airspace was closed down. And immediately Sean Duffy, the Secretary of Transportation, he comes out and he's like, it was drones of Mexican cartels. I mean, that was just right out of the box. He said it. Then we find out, really it was the incompetence of Pete Hegseth, Fox News. The US Military earlier this week shot down what turned out to be a party balloon near El Paso after initially assessing it as a possible foreign drone, a misidentification that later led to a full airspace shutdown that around the airport. So when I see this, I immediately know nothing that comes from this administration, from jobs report to criminal indictments, to narratives about ICE and criminals, you can believe nothing because they are willing to propagandize anything, even mistakes they make against what they perceive as their enemies, full stop.

Well, yeah, I mean, they have completely turned government upside down. And it's intentional. It is a feature, not a bug. And they've intentionally trying to get the public to understand they make the rules. And all of this started a long time ago. All of this has been incubating for a very long time. What's so fascinating about this to me is the people who were against a large, dishonest, non transparent federal government now support it. You know, it's just the movement is so incredibly hollow. But of course, I never in a million years thought we would ever be able to believe anything out of Trump 2.0, ever. Because I lived through Trump 1.0. I know what a profound liar and con man this person is. So I never had any expectation. The rate at which they are dismantling the government and dismantling faith in government has surprised me to an extent. And I hope that scholars call this the autocratic backfire. I hope that this rate of speed and velocity in which they are doing this and this gamble that they are taking and incompetence in their execution of this, I hope that that comes to fruition and that it is indeed an automatic autocratic backfire.

Well, in addition to just being incompetent in lying, they are also doing something that I believe is so dangerous and is going to impact the United States for many generations and that's cutting all funding for medical research. The best researchers in the world have lost funding. They're going to Europe, they're going to China, and just yesterday we See that now they have stopped funding. They are terminating $600 million in CDC grants for programs supporting HIV and STD prevention and HIV surveillance. I mean, come on. They want, they want people sick. In my mind, they want to keep people sick and poor so that they can control them. And there's more and more evidence every day. When you put a dipshit like RFK Jr. Who is a conspiracy theorist and a lawy in charge of health, this is the kind of shit you get. You get sick people because they no longer value humans. And it is easy for them to dismiss them. It is easy for them to allow them to stay sick and become sick because they don't give a shit.

Yeah, and I would just argue that this is a moment for the Democrats if we had a unified opposition party that wasn't disjointed with leadership, supporting corporate interests and a lot of people in the progressive caucus getting no institutional support whatsoever to argue that the Pro Life party, the Pro Child party are the ones that are doing this. They are the ones that are going to make you sicker. And to remind people that during COVID there were so many MAGA people that freebase Fox News all the time that refused to get vaccines. And then they got Covid and story after story of ICU, nurse, ICU doctor, scrub techs, et cetera. These people are on their deathbeds begging for the vaccine. And I always noticed that this is just an anecdotal story that really, really religious people will passively defer to science. They always do. So when somebody's sick in Oklahoma, it's always like, well, I'm praying for you. I'm praying for you. I'm praying for a great outcome. But here's the thing. If your arm gets cut off, nobody's ever going to pray that, oh, I'm going to pray to God that your arm is going to grow back. But yet they say everything is possible through prayer. But even their prayer defers passively to science. Even the most religious of the religious who say everything's, everything's possible under God, if your arm's cut off, no Christian is going to come up to you and say, I've been really praying and praying and praying that God's going to grow your arm back because they know scientifically that is impossible. And so we have to have a political party that engages intellectualism, that engages facts, that stops the magical thinking, because all of this anti science stuff has been able to be birthed in a petri dish of magical thinkers that defer to Iron Age thinking, unless they need science and they're on their deathbeds and then they want chemo or they want the vaccine and they're a day late and a dollar short. So for me, this anti intellectualism has been breeding long before rfk, long, long, long, long before Trump. You go back to George W. Bush, you go back to Ronald Reagan, the embrace of meg culture and anti science and people doing their, quote, own research. I mean, I guarantee you that if we were to interview all of the people in the United States that believe the earth is 5 to 6,000 years old, I think would be in the high 90s of those people that voted for Trump.
Host
Oh, yeah, I think the data merits that out. I mean, I've seen over 90%, I've seen like over 95%. But you're right, they absolutely live together. And then the alarm has been sounding. The red flags are up. Trump wants to stop and or manipulate the midterms. We saw he sent Tulsi Gabbard into Georgia to steal ballots, to steal the evidence. And now we're seeing that other people have said, hey, he's trying to federalize the elections. He wants more control over the elections. He turned all that shit over to an election denier. And then this was interesting, a newly released affidavit from FBI review. FBI reveals what experts have long warned. The Trump administration is purposefully recycling through debunk, thoroughly debunked lies about the 2020 election in an effort to take over the handling of the midterms. And you have been sounding the alarm on this from jump?
Guest
Yeah, I mean, they are governing like they are never going to face accountability. Pam Bondi walked in front of Congress as though she is never going to face any accountability. It is very obvious. But more than that, it's not even deep. It's not even remotely complicated. We all saw what happened on January 6. He wanted for his mob of rubes to hang Mike Pence and to hostilely take over Congress and declare him president. And he would still be there and his ballroom would already be built and all of his escalations would just be further advanced. So it's just insane that anybody would be surprised remotely that he's not going to do everything in his powers with a pardon from the Supreme Court. You have immunity. So that makes it all very blurry. There's no question that they're not going to engage in every single thing they possibly can to cheat in the midterms. And this safe act that is going through Congress right now, which would disenfranchise 70 million women, it will not stop. But Republican disenfranchisement is as old as this country because they know that if, if more people go out and vote, the more the Democrats win. And so this is where I get my eyes off of Republicans and get my eyes on to Democrats because Republicans are fubar, in my opinion. They've been FUBAR for decades. But this is where, okay, where can we put action that can mean something for this country? And that's on Democrats. The Democrats being a full stop resistance party, a Democratic party that says we will not take donor money from fascist collaborating corporations. We simply will not do it. Look at what they're doing. And so I am hopeful that the progressive voices continue to unshackle the Democratic Party from this corporate duplicity. I'm hopeful that in building this independent media, us and hundreds of others where people get their news, we have a united message of turning people out to the voter voting polls and the booths where we have an election that is too big to rig. And I'm hopeful that state and local politicians, Republican and Democratic, do not throw away 250 years of our shit show of a country. But it's fucking ours and we love it for this old queen that puts on makeup every day and has many strokes on live tv. I mean like if can there just be one redeeming little thing in people, can we just preserve our elections? I mean for the Republicans, no. They've, they've always wanted rigged elections and all the election rigging conspiracy theories have always been a lie. But it's. Of course this is what he's going to do. He's a cheater. He's cheated his whole life.

Yeah, you're right. He's a con man. And there's no con too big. All right, please like this video, subscribe to our channel and we will be back later with more news.
Podcast: IHIP News
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Episode Title: More Disaster For Trump as Airport Catastrophe Caused By Hegseth & Jan 6ers Arrested
Date: February 15, 2026
In this lively and sharply progressive episode, Jennifer and Angie dive into a series of recent news stories painting a chaotic, scandal-ridden portrait of the Trump 2.0 administration and the ongoing consequences of its policies and allies. Topics range from the latest arrests of Trump-pardoned January 6 rioters, the government’s response to a bungled airport incident, widespread cuts to health research, and a renewed push to manipulate elections. The hosts provide both critical analysis and comedic commentary, blending outrage with black humor and a call to political action.
[00:04-02:50] Jennifer opens by highlighting a disturbing trend: a number of Trump-pardoned January 6 rioters have recently been arrested, many for sex crimes against children. She notes the Republican party’s ongoing attempts to cover for high-profile figures connected to Jeffrey Epstein and suggests a pattern of hypocrisy:
Guest’s Perspective: The guest (presumably Angie) broadens the issue, pointing out that sex crimes transcend political lines but sees a particular intensity among MAGA followers—often from highly religious, authoritarian backgrounds:
[02:50-05:38] Discussion shifts to the government’s mishandling of an airspace closure at El Paso airport, initially blamed on “Mexican cartel drones” by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. In reality, U.S. military incompetence (misidentifying a party balloon) was to blame.
Guest Adds: The radical reversal of values among Republicans now supporting an “authoritarian” and “non-transparent” government:
[05:38-09:46] The hosts express alarm over deep Republican cuts to science and medical research funding—especially the termination of hundreds of millions in CDC grants for HIV/STD programs. They link this to the appointment of RFK Jr., described disdainfully as a “conspiracy theorist,” to head public health:
On Faith vs Science: The guest laments that magical thinking and anti-intellectualism have enabled anti-science policies to thrive, particularly among Trump supporters:
[09:46-14:13] Jennifer and Angie highlight active attempts by the Trump government to undermine, federalize and manipulate elections, referencing specific actions (e.g., sending Tulsi Gabbard to Georgia, putting election deniers in charge, and recycling debunked 2020 fraud claims).
Guest’s Call to Action: Emphasizes the urgency of Democratic unity and progressive resistance:
On GOP hypocrisy and crime:
On government lying and propaganda:
On the speed of autocracy:
On the dangers of anti-science governance:
On ongoing threats to American democracy:
Final call to action:
The episode is unsparing and sarcastic in tone, with both hosts expressing deep alarm at developments under Trump’s second term. Their approach is both earnest (in calls for resistance, defense of science, and condemnation of authoritarian tactics) and humorously scathing—skewering their adversaries with dark wit and Southern bluntness. The clear through-line is a rallying cry for progressive action: to recognize the depth of the current crisis and mobilize in defense of democracy, truth, and public health.
For listeners who missed it:
This episode offers pointed, urgent analysis coupled with biting humor, focusing on the real-world consequences of authoritarian governance, the embrace of conspiracies, the gutting of science, and the stakes of coming elections. The message is clear: stay informed, stay skeptical, and stay engaged.
