One of my favorite parts about MAGA is when they try to say we're not racist. Quit calling us racist. Here's Megyn Kelly yesterday. Play the clip.
Megyn Kelly Clip
This has been going on for over a dozen years.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Go home.
Megyn Kelly Clip
Get out. We know our country's better than yours. That's because we filled it with our work ethic and our culture and our values. You being here only dilutes it for us, those who built it and live it. And half of you people, more than half, you won't assimilate.
Host 1
We don't want you.
Megyn Kelly Clip
We don't care if you're offended. Get out.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Go home.
Megyn Kelly Clip
Go back to Haiti. Sorry, I'm just. I'm thinking about our friends in Ohio who've been dealing with these.
Host 1
Imagine she calls herself a Christian. For me and you, Josh, that's not shocking because we grew up in the Bible Belt and have found the most Christian people like her to be the meanest, cruelest people in the Bible belt.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Can I just say this? She looks like a nurse wearing a nurse outfit and a horn. Can I on that clip that you just showed us. When the fuck does she look at that. Yeah, she looks like speaking all this garbage, all this hateful nonsense. How many times in her day does she come across Haitians? And what the fuck do they do to her. How many Haitians are in the Epstein files? Does anybody know?
Megyn Kelly Clip
Zero.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Yeah.
Host 1
Zero Haitians.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Yeah. How many pedophile Haitians do we know? How many pedophile Republicans, how many convicted felon Republicans do we know? I mean, it's not even a close call. Give me a hut full of Haitians any day over that MAGA at the White House and I'd take it 100%.
Host 1
She used the word dilute and that's important because that's very Nazi esque blood keeping pure bloodstream Aryan race. And so they're, they're really letting their Nazi flags fly right now. But I'm with you, Josh. Give me every Haitian over the Megan Kelly's and all of the racist pink arm closeted homosexuals in the White House. And FYI, our friend Don Lemon has reported that Megan Kelly's husband is always staring at Don Lemon's husband when they're out in public. And it really freaks them both out. So maybe the call is coming from inside the house. Megan, you racist piece of. The reason she feels so emboldened to do this, and this is why I wanted to have you on, Josh, is because the institutional racism is all the way up to the highest level. The Supreme Court yesterday sides with Trump. Pop this up. New York Times. Supreme Court yesterday allowed the Trump administration to block asylum seeker seekers at the US Mexico border by physically preventing them from crossing into the U. S as they seek protection from prosecution. Josh.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Well, this is an opinion too, where Justice Sotomayor, I believe in open court, read her full dissent and had an exchange with Justice Alito. It was, it was pretty heated, really. Yeah, it's one of those cases that, and we all know this as lawyers, the Supreme Court, they can get to any result that they want to get to. They can find a way to navigate through here. They simply say that physically because you haven't entered the United States, you're not allowed to claim asylum from persecution. I mean, you could be a matter of inches, you could be a matter of feet. So they find this convenient loophole to really make this decision. And, and as just Justice Sotomayor said, it's literally turning your back on people that are going to be persecuted. And when did our country stand for this? When did our country become this? When did we elect leaders or appoint judges that are okay with this, who also at the same time profess to be Christians? They profess to have compassion and love people and forgive people. And it's, it's, there's so much of it every single day that, that it's disgusting, it's disturbing. The Supreme Court is the absolute worst. It's, it's no mistake that Justice Alito wrote this opinion. It, it's fitting for him, but it's just another dagger for really our reputation across the world and how we treat immigrants, how we treat people that want to come to this country. It's embarrassing for people like us that live here, that are good hearted, open minded, compassionate people that care about other people even if they're not from this country. We care about you. Why? Because it's a human decency issue. It's not a American issue to be kind. It's decency. Follow your religion or get the out yourself.
Host 1
Well, and here's the thing about this. The Democrats need to really start messaging that the MAGA Christian base, the reason that Trump was able to get elected was because The Jerry Falwell Jr. Who was hiring a pool boy for his wife to screw while he whacked off in the corner watching, right. As soon as Jerry Falwell gave Trump the support, all of the evangelicals went to Trump. And no Republican can win without the evangelical support. This voter block, the religious right, they are pathological, diabolical liars that are members of a death cult. This ruling right here will lead to death. So don't lecture us about pro life, don't lecture us about Judeo Christian values. Don't lecture us about all of the moral high ground that you think you're on. Because Jesus Christ, if he existed, was a browned skinned radical empath that wanted to help everybody and opposed the accumulation of wealth. So all of these mega church pastors that have private planes, multiple locations and bank accounts that could choke a bull that aren't speaking out against this, you're a, a, a, a snake oil salesman. End of the story. But here's Amy Coney Barrett with her two Haitian adopted kids. Justice Barrett has two Haitian children. She ruled against the protective status for Haitians. So this is a typical white woman that thinks, oh, I've got these black kids, I'm not racist, when she totally is, totally is.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
And she's provided a home for two Haitian kids who now get to live and stay in this country. Think about this. How many people in Trump's orbit sacrifice their own beliefs relating to their own family members around him? Do you remember Ted Cruz's wife, Vice President Vance's wife, Cheney with his daughter Cheney? There's no line they will not cross for this cult, for this MAGA cult. It doesn't matter that's the family.
Host 1
That's the rot that's in this evangelical Christian Republican right. And all of those things are kind of grouped together is that they will throw their own children under the bus.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Exactly.
Host 1
To continue being diabolical follicle. And I've seen it so many times in the Bible belt. And then you guys, if this isn't enough. All right, here's more evidence to my claim that MAGA is a death cult. Now they're pro cancer. Pop this up. The United States Supreme Court sided with the maker of Roundup weed killer, blocking thousands of lawsuits alleging it failed to warn users the product could cause cancer.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Josh, this was an opinion by our favorite asshole, Brett Kavanaugh, who we spoke about yesterday with Susan Collins. I believe the worst part about this case, the part that's mind blowing, is that the court never even addressed the issue as to whether or not Roundup causes cancer, but rather it dealt with who gets to decide what warning label goes on the product. Now how insane is that? The EPA granted Roundup's label without a cancer warning. The and thus the court said that a state jury can't turn around and punish the company for not adding the proper label, claiming that federal law preempts state law. So think about that. And the result of this ruling will be that 200,000 plus claimants who are sick cannot proceed with the lawsuit against this company. I would dare to say that large corporation capitalism is at stake here. Money's at play here. That's that. That's got to be part of the reason. But, but it's just another setback for common day to day people. A lot of these people are sick. They have cancer now. They have no recourse.
Host 1
And this is important for all of us to understand about the Supreme Court. It's both Christian nationalist and both pro oligarch capitalist at the same time. And you would think on paper these things would be diametrically opposed. But the Supreme Court has groomed these justices that are religious. They've groomed them to carry out the wishes of these oligarchs. And the easiest group of people to manipulate, control, indoctrinate and brainwash are, are these religious nuts that live in the country. We are the most religious first world country. And in Europe they don't have this type of melding of religion and government.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Well, and, and the thing about religion is it gives these fucking lunatics permission in their brain, in their mind to do whatever the fuck they want to do under the name of their Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. It's like a blank slip to go out and be a complete mean asshole and they feel righteous about it. That's the most dangerous part of religion, is it gives you sort of a permission slip to go be a mean fucking person.
Host 1
Yeah. All right. And then now let's shift gears because who was behind all of this Haitian stuff? Who's behind the Supreme Court? Who is celebrating that we are going to not help refugees? The most marginalized, desperate people looking for just help? Stephen Miller. And here's a headline about Stephen Miller's involvement in the Southern Poverty Law Center's lawsuit. Pop this up. Newly released FBI docs allege Stephen Miller targeted civil rights organizations. The DOJ's justification for opening a full investigation into the Southern Poverty Law center on October 2020 25, which led to the April 2026 indictment, appears to be near verbatim rehash of a letter that conservative groups sent to Stephen Miller complaining about being designated as hate groups on SPLC's hate map.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
So this FBI incident summary, this document was discovered by the Southern Poverty Law center and their attorneys, and it was included in a recent motion to dismiss based on a vindictive prosec. And what they're claiming is, is that this letter is written verbatim by a group of conservative groups and it was sent to Stephen Miller complaining about how they were being tagged as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. And so I think that the Southern Poverty Law Center's lawyers are using this to show, hey, this obviously was sent to the FBI, to the Department of Justice, by the White House. It's part of Donald Trump's retribution campaign to go after the Southern Poverty Law Center. They're trying to use it to their advantage to bolster their claim that DOJ is really behind this prosecution, really to punish the Southern Poverty Law center for tagging groups that should have been tagged as hate groups over the past five or ten years. Donald Trump was, he's madder in hell about it. Stephen Miller was madder in hell about it. So it's retribution. And so they're hoping that this will help show that the White House is connected to the Department of Justice and in fact ordered the Department of Justice to pursue this prosecution.
Host 1
All right, let me give you guys this little tidbit that our producers found prior to the investigation. The Southern Poverty Law center released emails where Miller repeatedly praised Calvin Kulage and the Immigration act of 1924, a eugenics based law so extreme extreme that Hitler cited it in Mein Kampf as a model for Nazi Germany. The emails also showed Miller obsessing over the loss of Confederate symbols following Dylann Roof's mass murder in Charleston and revealed his relationship with white nationalist neo Nazi Richard Spencer. So, Josh, I don't even know if you know this because so much happens in the podcast, but Abby Phillips of CNN was on my podcast. We were talking about Stephen Miller and I called him a white nationalist. And then CNN had Katie Miller on CNN and Katie Miller goes bananas on Abby Phillips and said, well, you had Jennifer Welch on, you had Jennifer Welch on. And she called my husband a white nationalist. And what I have to say to Katie and Stephen Miller is you are white nationalist, you are Nazis, and everybody sees it. You cannot breed your way out of this. You cannot tweet your way because we acknowledge the facts that you and your husband are horrific, awful Nazis, period.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
That's right. Just own it. You can put some religious twist on it, but just own the goddamn thing. You can claim it's some Christian thing,
Host 1
whatever, you're Jewish, which is even more
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
interesting, can use that somehow, spin that somehow, but just own it. Just say it.

right, and then this is something that's very near and dear to Josh and me. We had a young gentleman, young black kid that worked for us named Javi and he was shot, robbed and shot in a parking lot in 2024. And I want to highlight, as everybody talks about, you know, there's a rise in this form of bigotry, there's a rise in that form of bigotry. All bigotries are on the rise, but the one that we always ignore and our inability to deal with it has incubated it to where all other bigotries rise. And it is of course ant black racism in America that we have never atoned for, we have never paid proper reparations for, we have never truly fixed. And so I want to highlight this for everybody and this is really, really important for us to absorb and understand. Pop this up. Black men are being systemic. Systematically killed by guns in this country. Shock figures reveal grim scale of Gun deaths for black men. One in every 38 black men living in America, around 3% will be killed by a firearm. And I want to say that again. One in 38. One in 38, you guys. A public health analysis found that black men are between 10 and 20 times more likely to be killed by a gun than white men.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Yeah, and this is something, as you pointed out, that's, that's dear to us, but it's also, it's a part of what I do every day, being a criminal defense lawyer. So I see the system up close. I see young African American men that are 15, 16 years old that have access to these guns that shoot and kill other African American men. They serve long prison sentences. This, to me, it gets a little bit deeper. It's a systematic problem, but it's also by design, to a certain extent by the government. And there's a reason why you have these low income, poverty ridden African American communities because they're to a certain extent quarantined to a certain area. And the police don't provide the same type of services.
Host 1
Well, they're over policed.
Josh (Criminal Defense Lawyer)
Over police some, but to a certain extent I think they leave them alone in hopes that they will kill each other. I mean, I think, I do think that to a certain extent, but the whole system, if you ever get up close to it and see it, what happens to, what happened to Javi, who is like a member of our family? What, what happens to the young men? I think one of the young men that's charged with shooting Javi is 16 years old. You know what's going to happen to him the rest of his life, his family, Javi's family that we grieve with every day. We see it up close. I see it up close with my work and the Republican party, our leaders, they don't care. They're not trying to fix this problem. Nobody's coming to save them. Nobody's trying to police their neighborhoods to make sure everybody's safe. They're not getting the same quality of care that we get. They're all poor, looking for jobs. And it's almost like they're making these guns so available in these areas with the hope that these young men will do this to each other. And you always hear, I don't know if you remember the movie Boys in the Hood back in the 90s, but they discussed this, they talked about this and said, hey, we've got to be better than this. This is. They want us to do, they want us to kill each other. We have to rise above that. So this is a topic that's very sensitive for us and it's full of problems. And I would hope that at some point in time we can try to meaningfully address the gun problem in our country, but also meaningfully address the discrimination that you pointed out that takes place against African Americans on a daily basis. It's such a widespread, systematic, in depth problem that deserves its own discussion. We could talk about this for hours, about the impact of this. You know, our youngest son played on an AAU basketball team full of a lot of low income African American kids. And they were the sweetest, kindest kids. They would come to our house, spend the night. And I just feel like we all have an obligation to try to help, try to help people. I do. I sometimes take pro bono cases I did for, for a friend of our family to help in the legal system because they couldn't lawyer.
Host 1
And I agree that it is twofold. Number one, there is a desire that, well, these guns are there, they're going to kill each other. But also the incarceration after the fact, a lot of black organizations argue is an extension of slavery. All right, thank you so much, Josh, everybody. Have a great weekend. Subscribe Like Comment we'll be back later with more news.
Episode: Stephen Miller's Leaked Nazi Emails Expose Him, SCOTUS Delivers Bombshell Ruling
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Guest: Josh, Criminal Defense Lawyer
Date: June 26, 2026
In this episode, Jennifer Welch and guest Josh (Angie “Pumps” is largely off-mic) take a raw, unfiltered look at the latest in U.S. political and legal news. The discussion centers on leaked emails linking Stephen Miller to white nationalist ideology, a Supreme Court decision impacting asylum seekers and corporate accountability, and the persistent threat of institutional racism — all delivered with a caustic wit and deeply personal perspective.

“One in every 38 black men living in America...will be killed by a firearm.”
— Jennifer Welch, (19:25)
Jennifer and Josh combine biting sarcasm, outrage, and personal anecdotes. The tone is unapologetically progressive, with a blend of gallows humor and moral urgency. F-bombs and colloquialisms underscore the deep frustration and pain at the subject matter, delivering political commentary that pulls no punches.
