Unknown Speaker 1
The president of fertilization, as Donald Trump calls himself, and Elon Musk, the world's worst baby daddy, apparently have colluded and gotten together and think it's a good idea to start paying women to have babies. Here's the headline. Trump mulls over a $5,000 baby bonus for moms in a bid to reverse declining birth rates report. And here is what I have to say about that. This is anony. I want to just piggyback on him. Trump considering a $5,000 baby bonus to encourage births. Meanwhile, it costs an average of 10 to $18,000 to give birth. Baby expense range from $1100 to $2500 monthly, not including rent, food, insurance and other necessities. This angers me to the core of my being because it goes back to the childless cat lady that women should have babies. That's what they're designed to do. And here's what I have to say. If you want people to have babies, provide childcare, help, provide housing, help, do not cut Medicaid and Social Security, provide insurance. $5,000 is not going to fix anything. And I think it's insulting that nobody is looking at all the problems that this administration is creating and they're thinking, oh, throw $5,000 at it. It infuriates me.
Unknown Speaker 2
This is where we have to be a tad bit careful. But because Kamala did campaign on something similar and it's a child tax credit, and she talked about people that are, when they have babies for the first time, the government giving them assistance. And so we have to be careful that when they say something, we're not just 100% against it because it came from them. Because Democrats typically want to support young families and children. And so I support, if you have a child, you getting a $5,000 tax credit, I think is really good policy. It proves when we invest in babies, when we invest in families, it helps people immensely. Where I think this gets a little bit blurry is it's guised with them that they want women to be at home. And I think their motivation is probably to keep women out of the workforce. But that policy on its face, is very similar to policies that Kamala Harris campaigned upon.
Unknown Speaker 1
But Kamala Harris also campaigned on childcare, help correct health insurance, housing. They're not doing that. They are going through the federal government and intending to slash Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, all of these programs that help people. No talk of reforming into insurance for all. So this on it, this to me, combined with the lack and inaction on their part and other policies insults me.
Unknown Speaker 2
Everything they do insults me. But I will say for a lot of women that live under a Trump abortion ban, that are forced to have.
Unknown Speaker 1
Babies, well, that's true, too.
Unknown Speaker 2
And so I just. I want to be core to my principles of, of how I believe government should assist young families specifically vulnerable which babies are. I think the question here is that is their intent to keep women out of the workforce. And you make a brilliant point that they're not talking about, you know, expanding health care for children or daycare. But I do think when we talk about these things, at the core, I do believe in government assistance for young families. I believe in that, and I support that.
Unknown Speaker 1
I absolutely agree with that. But $5,000 isn't enough. It's not enough, especially when you're cutting all other services for these children. And then we have Mike Johnson, who is the biggest, biggest hypocrite, asshole. I cannot stand him West.
Unknown Speaker 3
But actually many countries across Western civilization.
Unknown Speaker 1
To reverse declining birthing rates. But actually, what you're out there doing is trying to bring in new white babies.
Unknown Speaker 3
Absolutely absurd. The View is an absurd program. Yours, on the other hand, Will, is fantastic. You're doing a great show, and I'm so honored to be with you. Look, that's no surprise what the View is doing there. Every creative idea that the president and this White House come up with, they pan immediately, no matter what merit it may have. We are the Republican Party. We're the pro family party. We always have been. We take great pride in that. We're working every day to rebuild a culture of life in America. We want to advance policies that help families and make it easier to raise a child in America. We support all children. We love all life. That's what we've always been about. It's actually in our platform. And the Democratic Party stands for the opposite. You know, those views illustrate.
Unknown Speaker 1
Okay, he enrages me, and here's why. He sits there and talks about family values. Everybody on the fucking planet is for family values. And the Republicans have systematically removed protections for women. They have removed protections for children. They have removed opportunities for education. They don't give a fuck about a baby once it is born. They do not care. And it is dishonest, and he is a liar, and that is just gross.
Unknown Speaker 2
See, this is where I think Democrats should message and, like, flip the script on this and be a little bit more like, go out and go on a. And say, I am so glad that the Republicans now finally agree that we need to invest in children. Look at these Chirons, listen to Mike Johnson, because this is something that they would never do if a Democrat had the same idea, which Kamala Harris did. And then they roll out Democratic ideas and rebrand them, and then they get the rubes on them. And really, these are core Democratic principles. These are core Democratic ideas. So I wish some Democratic politicians would say, hey, welcome to empathy. Welcome to the idea of helping children. Welcome Moses.
Unknown Speaker 3
Mike.
Unknown Speaker 2
This is what we do. It's very stressful for new families. A lot of people don't have paid vacation, so good for, you know, or paid medical leave. Good for you for wanting to help young people. Now, I think we all know what you're so mad about is behind the scenes, they are sending this handmaid tale style. Women need to be breeding, and they only want traditional family families and all of this. But this is an opportunity, in my opinion, for a savvy Democratic politician to take that and say, oh, look, they're stealing Democratic ideas. Welcome. Welcome to really supporting children. Welcome.
Unknown Speaker 1
I agree. I hopefully will find that. But this, I mean, this was kind of overlooked in my book in terms of coverage, but we have Paula White, who's the faith leader at the White House, and this is what she has to say about men and women. God is moving mightily. And what's so exciting to me, especially among young people and men, men are the fastest returning to church.
Unknown Speaker 3
See what she's saying there? Again, men, we need more fathers, more husbands. Nor real men.
Unknown Speaker 1
Absolutely. You know, I just, I am. They are becoming the bedrock, which is how God designed it. It has to be that way, 100%. And it's so. It's so crazy because people will.
Unknown Speaker 3
But real men, men that stand up and stand up for their wives, for.
Unknown Speaker 2
Their families, for their children, like Donald Trump.
Unknown Speaker 1
Okay, real quick, before we finish that. Okay, then that leaves out Ted Cruz. He can't be a real man. He's. He can't do it. I mean, I'm just. I'm so mad. All of these people. Mitch McConnell, he didn't protect his wife. These real men have absolutely laid their lips on Donald Trump's ass. J.D. vance has sacrificed not only his wife, but his children, but he's a real man. And so she goes on to say, I can't listen anymore. It'll send me into orbit that women should submit to their husbands. And I want to say right here, right now, I was raised in evangelical faith. Evangelical faith is patriarchal. The men have the power. And let me just tell you from my own experience, if women do not make it A part of their lives to earn their own money, and they depend solely on a man. It is troubled. Not only do I have that personal experience, I was divorced lawyer. You cannot cede all of your power to a man because very rarely does it work out. And it enrages me that she sits there after three husbands and a gazillion affairs, acting like her husband's the head of the household.
Unknown Speaker 2
Hold up. She had three husbands?
Unknown Speaker 1
She's on husband number three and has affairs? Did you not know that?
Unknown Speaker 2
No, I'm just. I knew she was a grifter and she was running some racket, you know, selling prayers or whatever. I've seen her speak in tongues, and when she speaks in tongues, I've seen this video of her, and she, like, throws the Bible down, and I know that she is like, her office is above Trump's. I had no idea she was on marriage number three.
Unknown Speaker 1
Marriage number three. And have and has documented affairs with different men. So these family values, real men, it is all.
Unknown Speaker 2
Here's what I have to say about that guy who kept saying men, men, and. But he would always, like, qualify real men. I guarantee we need to see his Pornhub 100 watch list. I guarantee just this. There's something, I think, when somebody constantly says real man and they talk about how masculine they are or like that, you know, the Fox News host talking about betas and alphas and stuff, I think there's just a lot of bisexual curiosity. And I think a light little examination into the Google search history would confirm my theory.
Unknown Speaker 1
Do you know why I think you're right, and I know you're right? Because Grindr crashed twice during the Republican National Convention, okay? Like, we're not, like, making this shit up. There's facts to support it, okay? And then here. Here's what my main message is on all this, is that you have these women like Paula White, who is in a position of power, and then you have all these Fox News hosts that are women, and they're sitting there preaching this evangelical patriarchal message, not understanding that, but for protections for women, they not have jobs, and they are preaching it to other women, yet they don't have it for themselves. And exhibit A is Pam Bondi, who is running around citing domestic terrorism for Tesla property crimes. And now she's creating a task force for anti Christian bias, which is the biggest pile of steaming dog I have ever heard in my life.
Pam Bondi
Vandalism against churches was eight times higher in 2023 than it was in 2018. And as at President Trump's directive. We ended those abuses at the Department of Justice on day one. We dropped three ongoing cases against pro lifers and redefined the FACE act to ensure that abuse would not continue and that American tax dollars were not used to support the weaponization of our legal system to target Christians. Just a few weeks ago, we convicted a man in Arizona for a plot to bomb Christian churches. The Department of Justice will protect religious liberty for Christians and for all Americans.
Unknown Speaker 2
The narrative that Christians are persecuted when they weaponize their faith against all of the marginalized is so nauseating. And they have played the long game with this. To get an Attorney general, just like that, and to get a president, their empty vessel, or whatever the fuck they call him, to do this. This is just, this is why Europeans have always thought we were. Because we are such a religious, anti intellectual country. And what she just said is also stupid.
Unknown Speaker 1
It's all stupid. And it's lies.
Unknown Speaker 2
Totally.
Unknown Speaker 1
It's just lie after lie. She doesn't want to protect Muslim faith. She doesn't want to protect Jewish faith.
Unknown Speaker 2
Non believers, non believers.
Unknown Speaker 1
What she wants to protect is the patriarchal Christians. And I dare say that in biblical times, Pam Bondi would not be Attorney General because she does not have a penis. So the hypocrisy and the transparent pandering to the Christian base, it's, it's ridiculous. It's a waste of our taxpayer dollar. And for this Attorney General to talk about weaponization, I can't. I just can't. As she is Donald Trump's personal retribution.
Unknown Speaker 2
But do you notice what she did there in her propaganda? This is important that we all start paying attention to this. She talked about Tesla.
Unknown Speaker 1
Yeah.
Unknown Speaker 2
How do you get working class people to care about ability? Billionaire car company. Well, then she immediately segued to talking about Christianity. And notice the propaganda, how they do that and how those two things were coupled together when in actuality, if we were to deep dive into it, those things are opposed to one another. A man who accumulates wealth and exploits the poor, the needy and the marginalized, and the teachings of Christ, who would have been with the marginalized. And she coupled those two together and this is a close. Classic authoritarian play.
Unknown Speaker 1
Right? And let's not forget that artificial intelligence says this Republican Party would deport Jesus. Just throwing that out there. So I'm sorry I got so wound up about this, but this is really, this is important stuff and people need to realize that they're, they're spewing and it is anti everyone but white men. IHIP News Podcast Summary
Episode: Trump Admin’s Creepy Obsession with Women Submitting and Making Babies?!
Release Date: April 27, 2025
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
The episode opens with Speaker 1 highlighting the Trump administration's initiative to introduce a $5,000 baby bonus aimed at reversing the declining birth rates in the United States.
Speaker 1 criticizes the proposal as a superficial solution that fails to address the comprehensive needs of families, including childcare, housing, and healthcare. The hosts express frustration that the administration is offering a monetary incentive without implementing supportive measures that genuinely assist parents.
Speaker 2 brings attention to Democratic proposals, particularly those advocated by Kamala Harris, which focus on broader support for young families beyond just financial incentives.
While acknowledging the merits of a $5,000 tax credit, Speaker 2 warns against dismissing such policies solely because they originate from the Democratic party. She emphasizes the importance of differentiating between party motivations and the actual benefits of the policies themselves.
Speaker 1 delves deeper into the administration's shortcomings, pointing out that alongside the baby bonus proposal, there are cuts to essential programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.
The hosts argue that the administration's focus on minimal financial incentives contrasts sharply with their failure to uphold and expand critical support systems for families, thereby undermining the effectiveness of the proposed baby bonus.
The conversation shifts to the broader theme of family values, highlighting a perceived patriarchal undertone in the administration's policies and rhetoric.
Speaker 1 criticizes figures like Paula White for promoting patriarchal ideals while exhibiting personal behaviors that contradict these values, such as multiple marriages and affairs.
The hosts express frustration with the hypocrisy they perceive in leaders who preach strong family values yet fail to support women’s independence and rights.
The episode continues with a scathing critique of Republican figures like Mike Johnson and Pam Bondi, accusing them of hypocrisy and pandering to a religious base without genuine support for marginalized groups.
Speaker 1 attacks the notion that Republicans are the true proponents of family values by highlighting actions and statements that undermine this claim.
Speaker 2 further dissects Pam Bondi's statements, arguing that the conflation of combating Tesla property crimes with protecting Christianity is a manipulative tactic to garner support from specific voter bases.
In wrapping up, Speaker 1 underscores the broader implications of these policies and rhetoric, warning listeners about the administration's trajectory towards an anti-inclusive, white male-centric agenda.
Speaker 2 echoes these concerns, emphasizing the need for vigilance and awareness among listeners to recognize and resist policies that marginalize large segments of the population.
While navigating through the complexities of the Trump administration's policies on family and reproductive issues, Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan provide a passionate and critical analysis of the shortcomings and underlying motivations behind these initiatives. The episode serves as a clarion call to listeners to advocate for comprehensive support systems for families rather than superficial financial incentives, and to challenge the patriarchal and exclusionary tendencies within current political leadership.
