Political Commentator 1
Kings has always had delusions of grandeur, but he's also completely untethered to reality. He gave a speech yesterday and I know we get talk about all the time how crazy and unhinged his speeches are, but it's like a boomerang, it's whiplash. What's so great about Trump is you know what news he's watching on TV because he has diarrhea of the mouth. So he has horrible polls, numbers, horrible job numbers. So here he is talking in front of people about how popular he is.
Political Commentator 2
With two pollsters because we were starting to think about the next election. They said, sir, if George Washington and Abraham Lincoln came back from the de and they aligned and they went for the president, vice president, as a combination, you'd be beating them by 25 points. And then the next day I was told that something strange is happening.
Political Commentator 1
It's crazy.
Political Commentator 3
Every American should be forced to sit and watch this man give a speech from start to finish. Either this one that he gave Yesterday or the McDonald's speech or any of his speeches. Because the mainstream media, corporate media, they slice it up and sanitize it and they present him as though he is a functioning executive of the country and he's not the Joe Biden was old, showed objective, yes, affirmative signs of aging. There's no question about it. This is something different. This man has full blown dementia, is showing all of the signs of it on top of his compounding mental illness with the malignant narcissism, delusions of grandeur, et cetera.
Political Commentator 1
Well, it's so interesting because he goes after whatever Fox News shows. So show Fox News. Here we go.
Political Commentator 2
Trump's approval rating falling to 38%. That is the lowest it's been in his second term. People are unhappy with Trump's handling of consumer prices and yes, the Epstein files. Kim Strassel joining us this morning.
Political Commentator 1
Okay, so here's the, that's good. Here's the thing. So then he immediately he sees that and it can't be reality for him. So then he has to go on and on about how he's a better president than Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. And then here's the thing. Now he's so far gone in his sundowner dementia he contradicts himself in the next sentence. So he's on and on. He knows the poll numbers are bad. He goes on and on about how popular he is. Then he says this.
Political Commentator 2
So my poll numbers just went down. But with smart people, they've gone way up. They've gone way okay.
Political Commentator 1
Didn't he just say that he was the most popular president? More popular. Like he can't even keep it together from sentence to sentence, which is not all that unusual. But it's just, it's happening so much faster than it was. I mean he is decompensating. Absolutely. There's zero doubt about it.
Political Commentator 3
To me, this is not new. I watched with laser precision the entire election. This is not new information that he has been out to lunch mentally for quite some time. The media has continued to sanewash this man and cut up the bits where he sounds or says two to three sentences competently and they cut out those parts of the speech. And that's what people see when they sit down for NBC News, cbs. There's never been a lead story on any of these channels that says President of the United States showing clear signs of cognitive decline. And there was that with Biden. And so this to me, I've seen him do this now for years. This is not new information for me. It's just for me. My hang up with all of this is when is the media going to do their part in being a member of democracy and exercise their first amendment right and cover this properly and cover the dangers of having a anti democratic dictator with full blown dementia running the executive branch and neutering the legislative branch and God only knows what he's doing with the Supreme Court. And the fact that this continues to go on and on and on and every time I turn on corporate media is sane washed. He has contradicted himself for 10 years in the same sentence. None of this is new. And I am just so tired of being one of a few people on left leaning news that talk about the dementia that we are all witnessing here.
Political Commentator 1
Okay. And another thing that's so disturbing is when you look at who owns media, you see his big mar A Lago buddies, cbs they own ABC caved. You've got the same people that own CBS now with TikTok. I mean like he is in, literally in control. It's like state run media on a lot of these places. Which puts Jeff Bezos at the Post. You know it's just he has control over this. So another thing we know he was watching Fox News because he's talking about how great his job numbers are. I mean the best in the whole world. Here we go.
Political Commentator 2
I view everything as jobs now because I don't care. I care about jobs. And we have more jobs. It was just announced we have more jobs right now than we've ever had in the history of our country. Those are big numbers. You know it's like crazy. It's a great, just a great stat. More jobs today than we've ever had in the history of our country.
Political Commentator 1
And okay, and then here's what's really happening. Companies announced the most October job cuts in over 20 years as an AI adaption and cost cutting accelerate across industries tech and warehouse sectors. Layoffs with Amazon Target and substacks and other slashing thousands of corporate jobs amid faltering consumer spending. So it's like it's gaslighting to the nth degree on point. Like my job numbers are terrible. He's not releasing the job numbers. They are so back. Did anybody lead with he lied about the jobs numbers every single day. No, it's, it's unbelievable. And I wonder why are these people ignorant in what they believe and now we know it is because they're being selectively lied to.
Political Commentator 3
Yeah and that's a really, really important to punch video that you just put together there pumps. He is saying my job numbers are X and then the actual. If you would have gone down to that third paragraph that said that said that we're one jobs down and these are pandemic level job numbers. And the media continues to San Wash and give a full blown assist to the fascist takeover. And they because they're owned by corporations and because John Roberts Court and Citizens United set the soil for this. We are a country that is always going to defer to corporations and Republicans have lied for decades that we want government run like a business. You don't want government run like a business. All of these businesses are all about bottom line and profits and not about safety, not about the common good. You know what, what is the best way to benefit society collectively? The fact that corporate media continues to not cover his lying. And they did. The Washington Post did Trump 1.0. They had a lie meter. But I knew something really nefarious was up when Jeff Bezos spiked the endorsement of Kamala Harris. And what they all want, all of these oligarchs want, is for their AI machines to take over the federal and the actual workforce. And so these numbers are going to continue to plummet because these guys have the psychological breakdown on how to get what they want from this president. Make a trophy, go to the Oval Office, humiliate yourself. Because he gets off on humiliating men. It's his kink. And. And then, you know, I guess he's like some big, you know, dominant, submissive type thing because it's bizarre how much he humiliates these people and how much they go along with it. And to think about it in terms of this, these people that have purchased these news channels, like Larry Ellison is the second wealthiest Zuckerberg top 10, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk. And they, this is their. This is their big life's work right now to get more money, fewer regulations, and harm society more. And I feel really bad for some of the really good journalists that remain at some of these places. And they have to work and they have to earn money. But the death of journalism is one of the. One of the less reported consequences of this fascist takeover of this country. And it's really devastating. I miss it. I miss really good journalism. I do, too.
Political Commentator 1
There's not going to be an all the President's Men, Bob Woodward Bernstein book because all the corruption is in plain sight. Nobody has any balls. And even if they found it, their editors wouldn't print it because they're scared of Trump. So thank you for watching like this video. Subscribe to our channel. We're saving Christmas with our book. It's a great gift. It's linked in the show notes. You can also get it on audiobook.
