Political Commentator
When you have an incompetent, dementia ridden president and he starts a war, the war is also incompetent and riddled with dementia style tactics, disjointed military operations, no clear purpose for the war. And because we have been so void in the United States of America of actual journalism, it's been so bad that when somebody does real journalism, it's. You feel like, oh my gosh, somebody's throwing us a crumb. And I want to give a shout out to Sean McCreesh of the New York Times, who yesterday asked a real journalistic question to our dipshit president who got us into an insane illegal war. Play the clip.
Sean McCreesh
You just suggested that Iran somehow got its hands on a Tomahawk and bombed its own elementary school on the first day of the war. But you're the only person in your government saying this. Even your defense secretary wouldn't say that when he was asked, standing over your shoulder on your plane on Saturday. Why are you the only person saying this?
Donald Trump
Because I just don't know enough about it. I think it's something that I was told is under investigation. But Tomahawks are used by others. As you know, numerous other nations have Tomahawks. They buy them from us. But I will certainly, whatever the report shows, I'm willing to live with that report.
Political Commentator
Okay. He says, why are you saying that? And Trump admits, because I just don't know anything.
Political Analyst
I just don't know.
Political Commentator
So I'm just up here freeballing. I mean, that's basically what it is. And the fact that we are so thirsty for this style of journalism and that, you know, the United States of America, that Tomahawk missile bombed in elementary school. Now I know that on the MAGA side, they don't really care about Arabs or if Iranian schoolgirls are killed. We know they don't because they don't care if Americans are shot in the streets. They don't care if immigrant children are put in alligator Alcatraz or are put in concentration camps, that Stephen Miller is purchasing all these warehouses. We know that, but some of us do. And we need to be loud about this. We attacked an elementary school and now Israel is attacking all of their infrastructure, water, etc. This is an illegal war and that's the guy in charge of it. That guy, Donald Trump.
Political Analyst
What's interesting about the claim that the Iranians bombed their own school is even if the Iranians had Tomahawk missiles, which they don't, they don't have a way to launch them and the fact that the President of the United States does not face backlash within Congress that he doesn't know, he says I don't know. And that. And everybody just leaves it at that. And to your point about journalism, Systematically, in Trump 2.0, they've banned reporters from the Pentagon. They've banned reporters from the White House press pool so that they're friendly. Laura Loomer is even reporting from the Pentagon. This is by design, because I believe they know how up what they're doing is starting January 20th of 20, 20, 25, all the way into this. And I agree with you completely. Elect an incompetent person, you will get an incompetent war.
Political Commentator
All right. And then moving along, the Trump's double speak and always trying to play both sides of everything has been ubiquitous in his life long before he ever entered the political spher. Here he is both simultaneously claiming victory over Iran while also claiming a continuation. And let me unpack why he's doing this. He was advised by the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs, do not do this war. It would be long. We probably wouldn't win this. We do not advise of this. I don't know if anybody in his cabinet advised him about the economic force fallout of this war. And I tend to think no, they didn't, because I think he just had Benjamin Netanyahu and Lindsey Graham in his ear over and over. And as we know, with this president, whoever has his ear, the last are usually the sentiments that he echoes. That's how weak American leadership is. That's how weak it is, that if Pumps and I hung out with him for a couple of days, we'd get him all like, LGBTQ plus. Yes, Queen. You know, like, that's just how easily manipulatable this man is. So here he's asked a question, and he both claims victory and continuation of the war at the same time. And I just want to remind everybody, Fox News, Jake Tapper. We're going on and on and on about Joe Biden and how old he was. And I saw it, I told pumps at the time, I do not think this man can win. He is not young. And the energy that we need in a commander in chief, this is like, beyond Biden. Play the clip. Thank you, Mr. President. You've said the war is, quote, very complete. But your defense secretary says this is just the beginning. So which is it and how long should Americans be?
Donald Trump
Well, I think you could say both the beginning. It's the beginning of building a new country. But they certainly, they have no navy. They have no Air Force, they have no anti aircraft equipment. It's all been blown up. They have no radar, they have no telecommunications, and they have no leadership. It's all gone. So, you know, you could look at that statement. We could.
Political Commentator
Okay, that's enough. So, number one, he answers with, oh, it's both, we won the war and we're going to continue it. And number two, then he just starts lying. They have no leadership. Are you not briefed on the fact that his son, Ayatollahi's son, is now the leader? Oh, I know you were briefed on it because I saw a comment where you said you didn't like that leadership and you wanted to pick the leader. So we have a crime syndicate that runs the United States federal government. And I think, like, I've watched a lot of Mafia shows. Of course they're great, Godfather, all of that stuff. Usually the mob boss is pretty smart, like diabolical, for sure. Evil, sociopathic, but they're kind of smart. Like they have a method to their madness. This guy's brain is so cooked. And the fact that there's still so much acquiescence, still so much capitulation. Republican support surrounding this war is very, very solidified. And these people genuinely believe in nothing. Like, if you were to pulled MAGA two months ago, do you think wars in the Middle east are a waste of time and drive up the national debt and that Donald Trump shouldn't do it? They say, absolutely, we are in the post neocon era. And then all roads lead to these guys being such neocons that Condoleezza Rice herself, neocon extraordinaire of the Iraq War fame, shows up to go machinate with these dipshits. Because this is one of their dreams being realized. Because all of these guys shill for Israel so hard. And the American public is always told, tough titties. How are we going to pay for this? Oh, we're going to have to cut Medicare, we're going to have to cut Social Security. This war is still going on. We have very little opposition to it, none in the Republican Party. But I haven't seen Democratic leadership come out in force. Hakeem Jeffries whipping votes. It just doesn't exist. And they do it for this dipshit.
Political Analyst
When I watched this, I thought, this is one advantage of not having any plan for a war, any objectives for a war. Because then when you go in and you fuck it all up, you can say, oh, yeah, I won. And just take. Take what you want as a justification for how you want. I Mean, we've heard everything from regime change to military infrastructure to human rights. None of those things have been accomplished. But he has to declare victory because, number one, that's who he is. And number two, I believe that from what I'm reading, so many of his advisors are like, you've got to get an exit strategy. Oil is out the gazoo. The stock market hates this. And he was trying to manipulate the stock market with the war is complete, but yet he has no identifiable objectives on what would make this Iranian war complete. So he just says it is like he does everything else. Well, I win and walks away well.
Political Commentator
And I want to add some historical significance here to this. This isn't a Trump thing. This is a Republican thing. Nobody can forget that George W. Bush flew on to one of those big ships with the Mission Accomplished banner, right? And this is, this is Republican policy. It is immediately cut taxes, immediately cut programs. And they cut the programs that hard working Americans pay into Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans benefits. They cut it all because they said, we can't afford it. How are we going to pay for this? And then George W. Bush, that smug motherfucker, lands on that ship with a banner that says Mission Accomplished. And. And nothing could have been further from the truth, but that is the disdain and the disrespect in which the American people are treated. They prey on a lot of the electorate not having a lot going on culturally. And so people lean into their faith and they lean into their patriotism as cultural identifiers. And so it's exciting. We've all, you know, grown up with this. Oh, we, you know, we went in and saved the Allied Forces and World War II. And it's like so hardwired into us after that ridiculous photo op that George W. Bush did. If he would have listened to Colin Powell, he said, this is the Pottery Barn rule. You break it, you own it. And so Trump can say all he wants to, we're pulling out, and it's an exit strategy and blah, blah, blah. But the GCC countries and all of the work that we have done for decades trying to get some semblance of peace there. And I'm not saying agree with all of it. That's another episode for another day. All of this is completely in tatters right now because of how breathtakingly incompetent Republican policies are. Trump is not the first to do this. And it's important that we always remind the electorate the Republican Party does the exact same thing every single time. Lowers taxes, cuts services, deregulates starts, wars, tanks, the economy. Then progressives come back in, or corporate Democrats come back in. Fix it. Fix it incrementally. Not enough. Still leaves a vacuum. And then the pendulum swings back, but each time it swings back further to the right. What it has incubated and the lack of atonement for what these Republicans do to our country is what makes each time worse. And so I think it's so important that we always call out the depravity and the exploitation of the United States military by the Republican Party. They always support the military industrial complex. They never support the soldier, ever. We can't afford that. We're going to have to cut Veterans Affairs. It's just absolutely horrific the way in
Political Analyst
the midst of all this, they're cutting programs for veterans. I just read an article like, it's just unbelievable how they, oh, we support the troops. Put your money where your mouth is. And they never do.
Political Commentator
No, because they don't. They don't support the troops. They send them off to Iraq based on a lie, which they all knew it was a lie. Most of which who knew it was a lie was Condoleezza Rice, who now is such a warhawk she couldn't race over to be a fascist collaborator with Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu quick enough. It's just disgraceful how these people operate as though they're above everything and. And they get to do it because there's never any atonement for all of these illegal. All right, now Trump is feeling the heat. And of course, he's not a big boy. Like, the maga universe thinks like, oh, this guy is an alpha male. He's a real man. You know, he really loves America. He's such badass. Here he is, he can't even say, the buck stops with me. I made this decision. Here he is blaming it on Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Pete Hegseth, and Marco Rubio. Play. The clip.
Donald Trump
Situation was very quickly approaching the point of no return, and the United States found it intolerable, in my opinion, based on what Steve and Jared and Pete and others were telling me. Marco so involved. I thought that they were.
Political Commentator
He's already providing cover for himself. I mean, he can't. The fact that this guy, when you. When it's like, you see T shirts, you're like, you know, Jesus, strong, Trump, tough. And I've got, you know, my eagle with a grenade in the claws, and it says Trump. And, you know, I. I love President Trump. And he's so badass, and he's Such a. That he can't even take responsibility that, you know, I was advised, I was briefed on all this. He's basically admitting that two dipshits who have no interest being anywhere near foreign policy because they're both incompetent, corrupt, and all they do is just feed their own wallets. Witkoff is making sure his sons make billions. Marco Rubio is number two in the list of political prostitutes. J.D. vance is number one. Marco Rubio is number two. And then Pete Hegseth. Pete Hegseth is a rapture prepper. Right. So these are the people that are advising Trump. And let's remember that Witkoff and Kushner are always talking to Bibi. They're the ones they sent over to Russia to get played by like a fiddle by Vladimir Putin. This is utter insanity. In their big alpha male. He can't even take ownership there. He is just throwing all. They were really trying to convince me this is, you know, they were going to attack Israel, which is bullshit. Iran wasn't going to attack Israel.
Political Analyst
Well, I was reading an article last night that said when Wyckoff and Kushner went over to the Iranian negotiations prior to the war, they brought no technical experts, they brought zero understanding of how a nuclear capability is made and works and all of those. So they go, the hubris of these two men to walk in and be like, oh, yeah, I've got it completely it up. And in my opinion, Kushner wants whatever Bibi Netanyahu wants, so he didn't really care. But it's just. It's astounding to me that the United States of America has experts in nuclear attacks, in nuclear making and nuclear fission, all the things. But these two bozos go over there, fuck it up unbelievably, and then Trump, and again, always throw somebody under the bus. It's never his fault. And here's the thing, his supporters are going to, at the end of the day, be like, well, Trump really didn't want to do this. They excuse every behavior and blame it on somebody else. That's more. One of the more fascinating things to me is how these supporters support him. And just think everybody around him has led him astray.
Political Commentator
Because I think that they're at a crossroads where if they actually acknowledge that Trump is wrong, despite feeling multiple red flags, it's impossible that you wouldn't have watched him for the past 11 years and seen the insurrection, the felony charges, Stormy Daniels, grab him by the pussy, giving the microphone a blowjob, the statements in HELSINKI and Trump, 1.0, the rambling dementia brain, even, even from Fox, the tw, the tweets, the tweets alone, that you wouldn't go, something's not right here. And so an individual's own inability to say this, this is wrong, that they would rather blame it on somebody else because if they admit Trump is wrong, then they have to admit they were wrong. And a lot of people in this MAGA movement are just so emotionally stunted. Political evolution is incredibly important, as we all like. I've been very open and candid about my weaning off of corporate news and exploring more of American foreign policy from a very objective point instead of a point driven by American patriotism, arrogance and a steady diet of msnbc. And so I don't think the people on the right have any interest in evolution. So I'm going to leave you all with this. This is the person that all of these people are manipulating. So when he said Jared and Pete and Steve and Marco, listen, they know this boy's pudding brain. They know he's cooked. Benjamin Netanyahu knows he's cooked. Vladimir Putin knows he's cooked. All of us, the 70% of us that don't support him know he's a traitor in a dipshit and a war criminal and dementia brain, we all know it's. But they continue to prop this guy up. It is like MAGA Weekend at Bernie's that will never end. Play the clip.
Donald Trump
But they were very strongly involved in all of the people that died through the roadside bombs died and are right now walking around with no legs, no arms.
Political Commentator
Sure, that's what's happening. People are walking around, they died, and then they're walking around with no legs and no arms. This is facing every day, waking up and facing the sheer idiocy that is governing the United States of America and the 35% of Americans that are still just so hard in the paint for this guy. My message is they're never going to change anybody. Even these triple Trumpers right now that are like, oh, I don't know, he might have messed stuff up if this MF Iran a fourth time. All 35% of them are marching proudly to quadruple Trump. Do not kid yourself for one second. So my message is to Democrats, do not try to play patty cake with these people. Do not move to the center and seed ground to morons that think that guy should be in charge. That in and of itself is so inherently disqualifying. This is an emotionally stiff, stunted death cult. I'm going to say it until the cows come home. Maga. The Maga Movement, the leader and all of the followers. It is an emotionally stunted death cult. They're never going to like you. They're never going to vote for you. It will never happen. All right, that's all we have. Like, subscribe, comment, and we'll be back later with more news.

This episode is a thorough, acerbic takedown of Trump’s Iran war handling. The hosts dissect his incoherent public statements, blame-shifting, and the worrying absence of real accountability—both from the administration and Congress. With historical context and contemporary skepticism, the hosts lay out why they believe the current Republican strategy is both dangerous and repetitive. They close with a warning to progressives: stop seeking approval from an unpersuadable base and fight back against the normalization of incompetence and depravity at the top.
