Right. The Epstein files are really, really a pest for Donald Trump. As they should be. The elites that engaged in these crimes, no matter if they're political on the right, on the left, they need to be held accountable. Donald Trump is allergic to accountability. The white, crusty, submissive men surrounding him are allergic to accountability. And they think they are entitled to, to not be accountable. Well, the COVID up is in full swing. Pop this up. New Mexico AG says the DOJ is obstructing the state's criminal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's activities at Zoro Ranch by withholding records vital to the investigation. New Mexico's Attorney General on Thursday accused the Justice Department of obstructing the state's criminal investigation of Jeffrey Epstein's activities on a sprawling high desert estate south of Santa Fe by withholding unredacted records. This goes on to talk about how the records contain names of the survivors, witnesses, co conspirators and other individuals who may aid the long delayed state investigation into the deceased financier's crimes in New Mexico. Also dropping yesterday, the personal assistant andor secretary of Jeffrey Epstein. The survivors came out and say she is straight up lying to Congress. She's saying that she didn't know that they were underage and she didn't know what he was doing with them. They're like, she absolutely knew we were underage because we would message her, I have school, I have choir practice, I have this. And then she was messaging them about booking massages. What kind of woman books high school girls to go massage older men like that? I mean, the rot in this thing is disgusting. And then she goes and lies to Congress and the Family Values Pro Children party expects it to have credibility on anything. It's just so disturbing.
Progressive/Carvana Ad Voice & Political Commentator 1
Well, I, I think it's impossible for her not to know what was going on because these, some of these girls wore school uniforms to Jeffrey Epstein's house. She saw that she was in it. And we only look towards Howard Lutnick, who said everybody in that house knew what was going on. That's why I don't go over there. Which of course we all know is a big fat lie. And as to this Mexico, New Mexico investigation, no Sherlock. The DOJ is withholding records. They have been doing this. They did it during Trump 1.0. Merrick Garland dropped the ball so huge it's unbelievable. And now they're covering it up again. The state of New Mexico has opened this investigation. They are trying to get a full comprehensive look. Who are other perpetrators, what are the other crimes that we can charge people with and have accountability for? And that is why they are stopping me stopping this, because led by the state of New Mexico and championed by their representative, Melanie Stansberry, they are all gas, no breaks in trying to hold people accountable.
Political Commentator 2
All right. And then some very, very disturbing news. And this is becoming so commonplace in the United States. There's new reporting on the man killed by ICE earlier this week. Pop this up. Shock. New York Times report. DHS now admits the man ICE killed in Houston wasn't even there to target. Lorenzo salgado. Aruo, a 35 year US resident was just driving to work when agents with no body cameras shot him dead, searching for two other men who weren't even in the van. ICE conducted the traffic stop in an unmarked vehicle, then detained three eyewitnesses and is now pressuring them to self deport so they can't testify about what they saw. Mexico's government says it will file criminal complaints in the United States over The deaths of 17 Mexican nationals in ICE custody or during immigration enforcement operations under the Trump administration. What's so disturbing about this is I know from my experience in the United States how the white ruling class views people like this man. And there's a dehumanizing lens, particularly where I grew up in Oklahoma City where they view like this person is somebody that I can exploit for labor and I can eat in their Mexican restaurants, but they don't deserve all the rights that we have. And that's something I'll just never understand. The sanctimony and the entitlement and the toxic arrogance that people think they this country is exclusively for them and that these immigrants that come here and make families here and make businesses here and do hard, earnest work are worthy of this type of treatment as long as they can exploit their labor for their yards or, you know, whatever it is. And this is just, this is stuff that when I was younger I thought this is like third world shit. And it's just like another day in America now where these, you know, juiced up, low t men that think they're now fully actualized men because they have a badge and a gun can just arbitrarily kill people because they're Mexican or because they're brown skinned or because English is their second language.
Progressive/Carvana Ad Voice & Political Commentator 1
I completely agree. And the sad thing about this I ice that we're seeing under Donald Trump is this is not an isolated story. This is not the only person. This is a continuing pattern of behavior. And yes, he's gotten rid of Kristi Noem and they've, you know, rolled back some of her policies, but the reality is Stephen Miller is in charge of all this and he has quotas and he, he loves the cruelty, he loves the torture of these people. So there are people dying that weren't even targets. There are people U. S. Citizens that are dying. There are children that are taken away from their parents. There are parents that have been taken away and sent to countries that we don't even have a record of anymore. What's going on with ICE should be so jaw dropping to every American. But the problem is, like you said, we have been able in this country to dehumanize people to such a level. People in this country are happy to wear alligator Alcatraz hats because they think, hey, if you, if an immigrant leaks out of this or escapes out of the facility, they'll get eaten by an alligator. That's cool. That's, that's like the base problem is this, that these people like it. Led by Stephen Miller, the shackle videos in the beginning, it's just so sad and vile and such a horrible reflection on this country, I think.
Political Commentator 2
Yeah. And you know, when you look at Nazi Germany, what's remarkable about it all is how many everyday people went along with it. That's the more disturbing part. I understand a singular, singular sociopath nut that, you know, we've all, we all understand a person doing that in solitude. But that's not what this is. This is a cultural rot. Trump campaigned on this. This is a campaign promise delivered. So listener, if you have any triple trumpers in your life, let's say, oh, they're going too far with ice. He campaigned on this exact thing, roughing people up, deporting them, locking them up. We covered it during the, during the campaign. And I said, he's going to put these people in concentration camps. He's going to kill Them arbitrarily, because that was the message I was getting in all of the Republican National Convention mass deportations. Now, here is a heartbreaking video of Salgado's family, and they're speaking out. Play the clip.

I am calling for a full investigation into the events that Transpired yesterday. Yesterday July 7th. He did not deserve to die. He did not deserve to be reduced to a headline of Mexican Man Shot and Killed by ice. He deserved to quit, to live a quiet life as Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a husband, a father, and a job creator for dozens of men who also wanted the American dream.
Political Commentator 2
You know, and that's the thing right there. A lot of people think the American dream is only for them. And they don't understand that the story of immigration to the United States of America has never halted. It's been continuous since our great, great, great grandparents came here. What has changed so much recently is the skin color. And with a country that has so much racism incubated in it, with an assist from a sect of Christianity, white evangelical megachurch Christian Christianity that traffics in Christian supremacy, white Christian supremacy, white Christian narcissism, they're able to propagandize and do these things and dehumanize people at a rate like this without a lot of outrage. Now, of course, listener and viewer, all of us see this and we are outraged. And it's just heartbreaking to me that people see that guy crying like that and they think, well, you know, honestly, they all shouldn't be here right then.
Progressive/Carvana Ad Voice & Political Commentator 1
Just go home then if you don't like it.
Political Commentator 2
And that attitude is so much more ubiquitous than politicians are willing to talk about.
Progressive/Carvana Ad Voice & Political Commentator 1
No, I completely agree. And. And the thing about it is, under this administration, those fantasies of all of these racists that they have been, you know, having for years and years and years now, they get to carry a badge and a gun to do it. And I empathize with this family so much. But there will not be an investigation. They will cover it up like they do everything else they will cover up. They will not allow evidence to be leaked to this, I'm sorry, to be shared with the states and the state organizations. They will take it. They will stuff it down. They will take the officers that did this and reassign them. That has been the history in this administration, is to cover it up.
Political Commentator 2
So think about it like this. That's what they're going to do. So what do we do? What does the opposition party do? You have little Senator Booster box now Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen Booster box. He every Sunday tweets out Bible verses. He Christian signals to his base, I can do what I want to do with impunity because I'm a man of God. Democrats have got to go to the heart of this religious hypocrisy in the way the right wing Christian signals to justify killing innocent people. If Mark Wayne Mullen is such a big Christian, why the does he not champion for the marginalized? And the Democrats need to stop being risk averse at going at these Christian hypocrites because this group, this sect of Christianity and you know this Pomps Kylie knows this from living in the Bible belt. Other Christians, mainstream Christians, look at them for the freaks that they are and they say that doesn't represent me. Those people are freaks. And there is this kind of like Christian on Christian crime about it. And we need to call out the religious hypocrisy that is promoted all across the country. These mega churches that incubate this hate don't pay taxes, have hundreds of millions of dollars of net worth. And if you go to a church right now, listener, viewer, and your pastor or your preacher or your priest isn't talking about what is happening to the immigrant population in the United States of Americ right now. They are a snake oil salesman. There are children that are hiding which is going to cause generational damage. There are children being separated from their parents. We have all these people that have died in custody as pumps mentioned, some being shipped random countries just for spite, just because it makes Stephen Miller feel tall and like he has a big dick. I mean that's why we're doing all this, because these broken submissive man men can't handle that some people are just born decent and want to earnestly work for their families. And so we need to get aggressive about calling out the Christian signaling and the Christian weaponization that the right wing has been using for decades. And it all dovetails into this prosperity gospel. It all dovetails into all of these churches that are now as deep in the center of this administration. All right, speaking of nutty Christians, so Charlie Kirk, obviously we all saw him get brutally murdered, which is horrible. I oppose gun violence with everything in me. I want mass gun control now in this country. But the people who love Charlie Kirk, that's not what they're talking about. They think that some left wing cabal killed him. And you have to know who allegedly killed him was a boy who was raised in a maga world in a white cracker neighborhood, wasn't indoctrinated by anything this Is this is what they bring up? Well, J.D. vance believed there was a conspiracy behind Charlie Kirk's murder. Pop this up. Vance's instincts told him that there was a larger plot behind the murder. Swan and Haberman wrote he went down countless online rabbit holes, becoming so consumed by the videos and the theories that his wife Usha told him she was worried about him. So we've all talked about this multiple times. The whole thing is weird. The whole Charlie Kirk thing is just as weird as in my opinion. I don't have the answers. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I think from Benjamin Netanyahu making multiple press conferences and speeches, I didn't kill Charlie. We didn't kill Charlie Kirk. We have nothing to do with them. It's like, okay, it's like me coming in and sitting down with you guys. I did not take heroin this morning. Welcome to I hip News. I mean, it's just, it's a weird. It's a weird thing. And J.D. vance going down these rabbit holes and he is like, inside the Death Star, right? And then all. And then I just think about all the attempted assassinations on Trump and I know I'm probably going to like, we'll lose subscribers and stuff. I just don't trust these people. I think they cook the books on everything. I just think there's weird shit going on. I do.
Progressive/Carvana Ad Voice & Political Commentator 1
There's so much weird shit going on. And they secrete at all, they secrete everything about the people that they allege. Did you know the assassination attempt, now the Charlie Kirk murder? Here's the deal. I think this tells me JD Vance knows this administration is completely incompetent. Because if you're the Vice President of the United States and you believe that some of these conspiracy theories that you're going online, you're going down a rabbit hole online. Why aren't you at the FBI saying, okay, I want information on this. I want to see everything you have on this? Because he knows Cash Patel is the complete. Because if I were the Vice President of the United States and I had questions, I would go to the source. I wouldn't go down a tick tock rabbit hole or some kind of YouTube rabbit hole that tells me he knows how up we are.
Political Commentator 2
It's so pedestrian. Something you or I would do would be like, you know, all sitting up here in the studio, like, did you see this tick tock video? I mean, that's all we have access to. And the. To think about the Vice President of the United States going down a tick tock rabbit hole. Is just bananas. And it tells. I always was like, before they produced who the alleged shooter was, like, this is trans violence. This is trans violence. Like, how do they know that? And then, lo and behold, it's like it was a trans killer. Despite the fact that this Tyler Robinson, I've never seen any evidence of him presenting as a different gender. And I would just think that would be everywhere. But like, all of these shooters surrounding the MAGA regime, the guy, the butler, Crooks, I think is Thomas. Crooks.
Progressive/Carvana Ad Voice & Political Commentator 1
Crooks.
Political Commentator 2
These things happen. And then Trump, the pettiest grudge holder on the planet, he's still mad at. Graydon Carter, who was the former editor at large at Vanity Fair magazine from like 25, 30 years ago, wrote an article when Trump was, you know, a big swinging dick in Manhattan that he was an egomaniac and had small hands. To this day, Trump's still mad at him over that. So you're telling me that all of these attempts on his life and we never hear about these people again? It's just not believable. But I don't know. We're living in very strange times. All right, pre order my book. Heading into the weekend. Not today, Fascist. I have been. After we've recorded each day, I have been going to the recording studio and recording the audiobook for eight hours a day. And I have two more days of doing it. So please pre order it. It helps us more than you know. And we'll be back later with more news.

Mom, can you tell me a story? Sure. Once upon a time, a mom needed a new car. Was she brave? She was tired mostly. But she went to Carvana.com and found a great car at a great price. No secret treasure map required. Did you have to find a dragon? Nope. She bought it 100% online from her bed, actually. Was it scary? Honey, it was as unscary as car buying could be.

Did the car have a sunroof? It did, actually. Okay, good story.

Episode: Trump Exposed as AG Leaks He's Blocking Epstein Ranch Investigation, What's He Hiding?
Date: July 10, 2026
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
This episode centers on fresh developments in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, namely explosive accusations by the New Mexico Attorney General that the Department of Justice (DOJ) – allegedly influenced by Donald Trump – is obstructing the state’s probe into Epstein’s Zorro Ranch. The hosts dig into what’s being covered up, connect it to broader patterns of elite impunity, and weave in urgent, personal commentary about recent ICE abuses under the Trump administration, religious hypocrisy in politics, and the conspiratorial fervor following the murder of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
The tone is sharply critical, darkly comedic, and passionately progressive.

This episode is a blistering, soul-baring critique of elite cover-ups (citing the latest Epstein-Zorro Ranch news), deep-seated racism in America’s immigration institutions, and the hypocrisy at the heart of political Christianity. The hosts lambast both parties for accountability failures, rail against ICE brutality, and warn about the corrosive normalization of inhumanity. They tie together contemporary scandals, right-wing conspiracism, and the weaponization of faith, urging Democrats and everyday citizens not to acquiesce in the face of unchecked abuse and institutional rot.
