Okay, so fissures all over the place in ma top story. Everybody knows Joe Kent, who was voted in by Republicans, maga, Republicans in the Senate, Trump. There's video after video of him lauding him, talking about how great he is, what a great American he is, etc. Etc. So he gets inside the Death Star, starts seeing some things, doesn't like what he's seeing, writes a rather revealing resignation letter, and then immediately goes on Tucker Carlson, where I'm telling you guys, Tucker Carlson is where the MAGA movement lands. It is where everything is heading. And we all have to take Tucker seriously. You have to address every issue because this is how MAGA incubated in the first place. And this is the next maga. Here he is, Joe Kent on Tucker Carlson saying that there are no nukes, zero nukes in Iran. Play the clip.
Interviewee 1
Iran on the verge of getting a nuclear weapon.
Interviewee 2
No, they weren't, you know, three weeks ago when this, this started. And they weren't in June either. I mean, the Iranians have had a religious ruling, a fatwa against actually developing a nuclear weapon since 2004. That's been in place since 2004. That's available in the public sphere. But then also, we had no intelligence to indicate that that fatwa was being disobeyed or it was on the cusp of being lifted or the Iranian strategy. It's actually pretty pragmatic. The Iranians are obviously aware of what's taking place in their region, and their strategy was to not completely abandon their nuclear program because they saw what happened to Muammar Gaddafi in Libya when he said, hey, I've got no more nukes. I'll do what you say. I'll give up my nukes.
Interviewee 1
And we gave the Nobel Peace Prize.
Interviewee 2
Yeah, we regime changed him and he
Podcast Host
was all right, so no nukes. The fatwa that the ayatollah is so devoutly religious that he didn't want to have nukes, this is corroborated by other people this isn't some far conspiracy theory. The fact that Iran had no nukes. We knew back to the Obama administration with the Iranian deal, and then Trump, I believe it was a few months ago, said they decimated all places where there could be enrichment, yellow cake, et cetera. And so this isn't just the Death Star conspiracy theory, right? Saying this, we all know that Iran had no nukes. This is Iraq all over again. And just to lend veracity to this, let's listen to these two experts speaking about Iran and the United States having a deal. And then on the cusp of it, and then an hour later, Trump bombs Iran. Play the clip.
News Reporter
And there was one development yesterday, builds on reporting Ms. Now had. Earlier, Iran offered to give away all of its enriched uranium during the peace talks. And hours later, the US Started dropping bombs. And the Guardian broke yesterday that there were British officials, the British national Security Adviser was present in Geneva during that last round of talks. The British were surprised by the Iranian offer. They thought it was credible. They thought the talks could should continue. And the British were shocked when the Trump administration started bombing Iran hours later.
Podcast Host
Okay, so there you have it. I mean, this, this war, as we know from the speaker of the House and the Secretary of State and Donald Trump's own mouth and other British intelligence, the United States was dog walked into this. Now we have somebody from inside the Death Star, a MAGA guy who confirms it pumps.
Political Commentator
You know, I listened to all of the experts saying there's no nuke, there's no, you know, Tulsi Gabbard testified. No, there was no imminent threat. And it just, there is no credible narrative that you can spin other than Trump wanted to do it. Benjamin Netanyahu either bribed him to do it with money, because I'm hearing all about these donors, I don't know if it's true, had blackmail stuff on him. Then you add Pete Hexeth, who is the world's biggest dipshit. That is bloodthirsty. You have Trump wanting glory. It was the perfect storm of stupidity and incompetence. And again, it's illegal. They don't give a shit about the casualties or the dire consequences that are now happening with oil and gas. What they cared about is I want to go to war. Pete Heck said, I want to be the Secretary of War. Netanyahu knew Trump sucks. He was happy to just get Trump right where he wanted to go. And so none of this surprises me, not even a little bit. What surprises me and somebody in the MAGA movement who was actually working For Trump had the balls to come out and tell the truth because those. Those people are few and far between.
Interviewee 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host
And I think that this is a larger thing that we've been picking up on. You notice in this interview with Jo Kent, there's really no criticism of Trump. And these people are machinating and laying out the groundwork. And you hear Marjorie Taylor Greene tweet things like, it was never about the man, it was always about the movement. So there is a lot of very carefully placed information here because they know in order to keep this group together, they cannot bash the leader. And I don't trust Tucker Carlson as far as I can throw him. He is an opportunist. He, you know, will bash Trump policies. Not Trump, Trump personally. And then he will be at the White House advising, etc. Now, this is where this thing gets crazy. Okay, so you have the first story that I showed you. Iran, no nukes, fatwa. Religious nuts didn't want nukes. Agreement in place. This is corroborated by other people other than maga. All right, so we know that to be true. Now, all of the stuff that we all kind of traffic in a little bit, like, was that assassination attempt real in Butler? Okay. So this guy goes on to Tucker Carlson, you guys, and they're talking about the assassination. And I'm going to admit, I mean, a part of me, I'm not 100% sure, like, that was on the up and up. I know that sounds crazy, but I think if I look at the comments right now, everybody's going to be writing, totally staged, Totally staged. Something's fishy. Something doesn't seem right. And there's just a multitude of reasons that I feel this. And again, it's a feeling. It's. This is not based on a lot of evidence for me, but here's this guy talking about potential evidence. Play the clip.
Interviewee 1
President was the subject of a near successful assassination attempt, like, recently.
Interviewee 2
Yeah.
Interviewee 1
And we're just not going to look into very obviously it's. Or divulge information that everyone knows they have. For example, the surveillance tape from the shooting range at which Thomas Crooks trained. Because it would answer the question, was he training with somebody? And if so, who? They have that footage and they won't release it. What could possibly be the explanation for that?
Interviewee 2
I know what the result is. The result is people come to their own conclusions. And this is where, like, crazy conspiracy theories come from. And then those conspiracy theories usually are easy to debunk or make the people saying them sound crazy. So then the actual question never gets answered. Right.
Interviewee 1
Sorry. Can you say that?
Podcast Host
Okay.
Interviewee 1
For people not who haven't lived.
Podcast Host
All right, Tucker, that makes him say it again. So this is pretty wild. This is like they are going into this podcast and nuking every component of MAGA without directly criticizing Trump. Unquestionably. The assassination attempt and the fight, fight, fight photo was a paradigm shift, a seismic shift in the election. It allowed that imagery that he took. Trump took a bullet for you. And he, you know, loves America so much.
Political Commentator
He.
Podcast Host
And then they all wore maxi pads on their ear. This was the identifying moment of his Trump 2.0 of ascending back up. And here they are claiming that the FBI or other governmental investigations didn't thoroughly investigate this. It's wild.
Political Commentator
Here's the thing. I have been down this rabbit hole on. Was the assassination attempt real or staged? And I lean towards. And I. At first I thought I was a conspiracy theory, but now I'm leaning more towards it. But you look at the facts on the ground. Donald Trump never released a medical record showing he was treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds. That was never. Then you have no information about the assailant. It was never provided. It was shut down. It's been sealed. Those things, to me, in addition to how quickly photographers were able to move into action, I just think it's fishy as hell.
Podcast Host
I mean, I always kind of have. I've always thought it was fishy. I remember I was in Italy when it happened, and so I woke up to it, and then I was in a place that I go to frequently. So I know a lot of local Italians in this town, and they immediately were like, jennifer, it's a staged. I mean, nobody in Europe thinks that thing was real at all. The fact that MAGA is saying that, that they are suggesting this, that they are planting these seeds, is a nuke, in my opinion. Like, there's no nukes in Iran, but they are dropping nukes on Tucker Carlson. All right, and then, you guys, it gets crazier. Now he's talking about Charlie Kirk. Let's listen to this, and then we'll analyze it each other.
Interviewee 2
And the last time I saw Charlie Kirk on this earth was in. In June, in. In the. In the West Wing, in the stairway. And I said hi to him, and he looked me in the eye and he said very loudly, and it's a small. You've been in the West Wing.
Interviewee 1
It's.
Interviewee 2
It's small. It's a tight space. And. And he said, joe, stop us from getting into a war with Iran. Very loudly.
Interviewee 1
He was single minded and he walked
Interviewee 2
off and he went, I believe, into the Oval. So when one of President Trump's closest advisors, who is vocally advocating for us to not go to war with Iran and for us to rethink at least our relationship with the Israelis, and then he's suddenly publicly assassinated and we're not allowed to ask any questions about that. It's a data point. It's a data point that we need to look into.
Interviewee 1
What do you mean when you say we're not allowed to ask any questions about that?
Interviewee 2
We've, we've been told that this individual Robinson is a lone gunman and maybe he is, but the investigation that, that I was a part of, the National Counterterrorism center was a part of, we were stopped from continuing to investigate. And the FBI will say that they stopped that because they wanted to have every turn everything over to the Utah state authorities. Everything's going to trial. It's very, very sensitive. But there was still a lot for us to look into that I can't really get into, but there was still linkage for us to investigate that we needed to run down. I'm not making any conclusions. I'm not saying.
Interviewee 1
No, I don't think you are.
Interviewee 2
Because, you know, because of this, this happened. I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying there's unanswered questions. We know the pressure because of the text messages, text messages that have been made public that Charlie was under a lot of pressure from a lot of pro Israel donors. And again, we know Charlie was advocating to President Trump against this war with Iran.
Podcast Host
Okay, this is a pretty big bombshell. So he's basically alluding to that Candace Owens, there's some veracity in her claim that Israel had something to do with this. I don't know if Israel did or not. I do not trust the FBI. I do not trust that investigation. I do not trust Cash Patel. But I also think this is the most important message to leave you with, Listener. I don't trust those, I don't trust those two people sitting there. These are two individuals that triple trumped. These are two individuals that saw January 6th, that saw the gallows being built for Mike Pence. I don't trust one fucking person that went to work for Donald Trump. I don't think these people have character. I don't think they understand what honesty is. I don't think they understand what integrity is. And I think that they will find a narrative that they want and they make that fact first. And then they, they pontificate below that and try to provide corroborating evidence. The larger point of all of this stuff is, I mean, all of this stuff is in Trump's government's hands. This is just a massive fissure. It is a, it is a massive fissure from somebody coming from within, inside the Death Star, outside of it, sitting immediately, 24 hours later, sitting on whom I believe to be the heir apparent of the MAGA movement, playing offense. And Republicans are so good at playing offense. This is all offense right here. So now what they're doing is they're putting the United States, Trump, his regime, the lying liars that, you know, have Cash Patel autographing things. And his is not a serious law enforcement officer. Pam Bondi is not a serious law enforcement officer. They've got them on defense. And that the, the strategy that Republicans use is really something to be marveled at. That within 24 hours, he's on. Tucker Carlson doesn't say one bad thing about Trump. It's all the people surrounding Trump which provides cover for triple Trumpers to stay in the movement. And they also love to feast on conspiracy theories. And look, there's probably a lot of stuff in here. I don't trust any. I don't trust this FBI, I don't trust this administration, and I certainly don't trust those two people sitting there.
Political Commentator
No, I completely agree. And when you look at the investigation into the Utah thing, you he immediately, it was like, oh, here are the bullets. And that, you know, he was tra. You know, trans and all of those things. And then they, he says they were stopped from investigating because they turned it over to Utah authorities. That's not true. This, the government, the federal government is the one prosecuting it, not the state. So I just find all of this very, very fishy. And there is no way, no how, that I believe that this was an isolated incident. Incident and he had some kind of trans message or I just, I do not believe anything about that. Yeah.
Podcast Host
And we could go down that rabbit hole. What I'm, as a, from a strategic point of view right now, you constantly see the Republicans on offense and this dismantling of all of these things that are central and cohesive to the MAGA movement. Actively seeing these two people play offense on is really fascinating to me because at the end of the day, is there something fishy about the investigation of Charlie Kirk? Yeah, I, Cash Patel wouldn't even get off the plane until somebody handed him an FBI jacket. I, I trust them all. 0 pick all of that up and set it over here and just let it sit there because I don't trust anything. The numbers of the economy, the reasons for going to war. If Trump gets up and says the sky is blue, I would doubt that, that that's how little I trust these people. The larger thing for me right now is as these people are playing offense right here. The Democratic strategy has always been, oh my God, these right wingers are crazy. They're just conspiracy theorists like QAnon ers. And that ended up being true. Part, you know, parts of it, it wasn't the Pizzagate, it wasn't them ordering pizzas, but there was a cabal of pedophiles. If there, if the Democratic Party was super, super, super strategic right now, they would be really capitalizing on a lot of this and already messaging. Trump betrayed. The message here, even though they didn't say it in that podcast, is those two people are betraying the dear Leader. And they went out of their way through this whole podcast to not personally criticize Trump. So the biggest message that Democrats could have here is headlines. Trump betrayed because this is a betrayal. Because the number one thing that he asked for was loyalty. Anybody who's disloyal, guess what's happening now. Pop up the Last 1. Kylie SEMA 4 is reporting. Trump's FBI has opened a leak investigation into Joe Kent, the former top intelligence official who just resigned in protest over the Iran war. So again, the weaponization of the Justice Department. This is the headline here, the biggest headline, because we could do a. I could do a whole podcast about Charlie Kirk. We could do a whole podcast about the Iran thing. We could do a whole thing about Butler. I'm going to leave all of that up to the people who want to dive into the minutiae of keeping the MAGA movement alive. The larger strategic message for me here is Trump is being betrayed. Trump is being betrayed and he does not do this. Well, we're going to start to see an autocratic tailspin, an autocratic psychosis. The problem is that this man has nukes and this man, you know, has a penchant for throwing ketchup. He got a taste. The chum was in the water in Venezuela when he watched the raid live. He got a taste for what military operations are. And so this is. I feel like we're on the precipice of potential mass casualty situation globally because the GCC countries are very unhappy with Trump, especially with their multi billion dollar investments into him. And then this is the biggest fucking story out there right now. The disloyalty and the betrayal of the ecosystem that got him elected, that keeps the cult together. And now this is the first person to leave the Death Star. And I think it's going we're going to start seeing they're going to start coming out because the strong man, I told you guys months ago with Ruth Ben guy, the strong man, this toxic. I'm such a tough guy. Fight, fight, fight. He's weak. And that tough guy image. Fight, fight, fight. MAGA just took a bow and just put an arrow straight through the heart of that. That his most masculine, brave moment is staged is fake, that he can't even be a real man on his own. It's stunning stuff.
Political Commentator

The tone remains biting, irreverent, and deeply skeptical throughout, lacing serious (and at times chilling) political analysis with dark humor and exasperated candor. Jennifer and Angie both balance direct quotes and news evidence with their own incredulity and strategic observations, creating an episode as much about the psychology of politics as the surface-level revelations.
This episode marks a potential turning point in the post-Trump right, spotlighting how cracks and betrayals within MAGA’s core may unravel established mythologies—and warning of unpredictable fallout when loyalty and narrative control slip from the hands of a leader who “does not do this.”
