Foreign. As it turns out, the shooter was the exact opposite of what everybody I know on the left believes. He was. Alt, right, extremist. And we've covered that on a lot of episodes yesterday. But let's take a break from that and get back to our bread and butter and enjoy this glorious video of Kanks getting booed at a New York Yankees game. Play the clip.

I've had it. All right, listen up. I have a lot of mixed feelings about the Biden presidency. I was so happy when he won. I just felt, you know, pure elation. I've been very disappointed with the way that he governed. Not the legislation that he passed, but his inability to market that and his DOJ's inability to take this threat that we're currently living in this hell seriously and operate under this default setting that, oh, people aren't going to do that again. It's okay. This constant capitulation to patriarchal structures that even centrist Democrats cave to. Well, in Brazil, they didn't do that. So Bolsonaro is. Was the president of Brazil, and he copied Trump's playbook to a T with the insurrection. They arrested him. They had a trial. Kylie put this up. Midas touches reporting. Brazil's top court sentences former President Bolsonaro to 27 years and three months in prison over his attempted coup. And this is so important because on an episode of I've had It, I asked historian and authoritarian expert Professor Ruth Ben Guy, she's also an author and amazing person, will that be the failure us not trying him? And she said, absolutely. Like you, if somebody tries to overthrow the government, you have to react with every bit as much intensity as they did to overthrow it. And now we all find ourselves here, and I think forever. That will forever be the talking point on the Biden presidency, that it failed to hold an attempted coup and insurrection accountable. And what comes with that pumps is now, in a just breathtaking tweet, the Secretary of State, Lil Marco Rubio, who campaigned for years on what a danger Donald Trump was, and then he morally collapsed and sucks up to kinks all the time. And this is the Secretary of State. The United States of America puts on his Twitter. The political persecutions by sanctioned human rights abuser Alexander de Moreas continue as he and others on Brazil's Supreme Court have unjustly ruled to imprison former President Bolsonaro. The United States will respond accordingly to this witch hunt.
