Maga always likes to remind us that the United States of America is a Christian nation. So what did their Christian president, the one that all of the evangelical pastors and preachers lay their hands on, what did he post on Easter morning? Here is Jake Tapper with part of the post. Play the clip.
A
He has just threatened Iran in extraordinary graphic terms, giving the Iranian regime just over a day to either make a deal, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, or face hell. If your children are watching, be warned, the President did not use polite language. Quote, Tuesday will be power plant day and Bridge day all wrapped up in one in Iran. There will be nothing like it. Open the fucking straight, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell. Just watch. We should note that destroying civilian power infrastructure.

Okay, and I will just note that Jake Tapper and CNN refused to read the part. Pop this up, Kylie. Praise be to Allah. So imagine if Barack Obama had tweeted that on Easter, or if Zoran Mamdani, who woke up Easter morning and wished all of the Christian New Yorkers a happy Easter, if they tweeted, praise be to Allah. So this is just the double standard in corporate news in Republican spaces where the President of the United States can be a batshit crazy, dementia ridden, bigoted lunatic with impunity. But then all of these standards, all of these procedures, all of this decorum falls on the Democratic Party. And the fact that this man operates with so much support from the white evangelical Christian base, plus all of the support from the Republicans in the Senate and the Republicans in Congress, and we are not all openly Talking about the 25th Amendment is just, to me, it's like, okay, this is just the end of the American empire. We have allowed an insane person to randomly start tweeting, open up the straight, you crazy bastards. Like, maybe that's something you say privately in the Oval to people. I wish they would open up the straight, but this is so unhinged, I don't even think Fox News even covered it. Okay, moving along. Marjorie Taylor Green of all all people is calling him out and she does a long, lengthy post. But here's the part I want to zero in on. So she goes into talking about Israel and talking about Christians and Easter and all of this stuff. But she says our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians. Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace, urging the President to make peace, not escalating war. That is hurting people. So here's my problem with Marjorie Taylor Green, number one. She continues to kind of outflank Democratic establishment politicians by calling him out for being a religious hypocrite. And she has credibility in that because she is also a religious hypocrite. Why is Marjorie Taylor Greene a religious hypocrite? Because Marjorie Taylor Greene all of a sudden cares about Palestinian children. Have you ever heard her upset about these immigrant children in the United States? The one that had the little beanie on with bunny ears? Have you ever heard her upse that? Have you ever heard her upset about the government bullying trans kids or gay kids? No, because this is a person that cherry picks what human rights serve her in an electoral message. All of her feigned outrage here is rooted in bigotry. But here's the problem. When the Democrats do not have absolute moral clarity on all of these issues. Calling out Benjamin Netanyahu, calling out war crimes, calling out Pete Hegseth, calling out Donald Trump, when Jake Tapper cannot bring himself to read Praise be to Allah, and then Marjorie Taylor Greene in a 30 second clip or a 60 second clip is spitting out something that appears like moral clarity without Democrats explaining be cautious, because inside this is white Christian nationalism. The thing with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson is they're just moving along because they know that this guy's half dead. And so during all of this, all of this insane stuff, we all know that Trump is like a psycho dialer. He loves to talk on the phone. There has been reporting that his phone number is the easiest number to get in Washington. So Trump is getting on the phone with reporters non stop in his bed, I'm sure, laid up, eating McDonald's, throwing ketchup against the walls. And he's telling them about how he's getting ready to commit a bunch of war crimes. So in review, per Maga, Iran, they are religious fanatics and they don't care about human life. And we are the party of Christian values. However, our leader says praise be to Allah and open the straight, you crazy bastards. And then Marjorie Taylor Greene, who doesn't give a shit about American children, American children living in poverty, American children that might be trans or be immigrants, but all of a sudden she cares about all these Palestinian children. We need an opposition party that has rock solid moral clarity. Israel commits war crimes. Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. These are facts. From there, then we can debate what we do after that. Donald Trump has dementia, is a sociopath. His mental cognitive abilities are diminishing by the day. He is unhinged. He is beneath and everything we ever imagined. A president of the United States should be. And then we can have a conversation from there because this is what happens when this man continues on and on. Here's a post. President Trump says if Iran fails to make a deal in 48 hours, we're blowing up the whole country. So here's the problem with this stuff, you guys. We have nukes, Israel has nukes. And this Strait of Hormu situation is a, is a massive deal. So it's my understanding that these huge oil tankers move at around the pace of a bicycle. They move so slowly because they're like four soccer fields long, super wide. So a lot of these boats that took off for the United States months ago are still on their way here. At some point all of this is going to dry up. So that's why he's laser focused on the Strait of Hormuze, because somebody in the administration is like, listen up buddy, we have major problems here. We're going to have a massive oil shortage. I need to remind you the Strait of hor muse would be open if Donald Trump wasn't so compromised and so easily, so easy to manipulate. It would completely be open. But because Benjamin Netanyahu has had a 40 year goal of bombing Iran and Donald Trump is, I don't know, is he compromised in the Epstein files? Is he just a, is he just was a neocon the whole time? Who knows, probably a variety of these things. But we do know he is not qualified to be the president of the United States because immediately after all of these threats, praise be to Allah, I'm going to blow up the whole country. He has tacoed on this thing six times. Pop up this reporting from drop site news. For the sixth time since March 22, u. S. President Trump extends his deadline to obliterate Iran's power plants unless the Strait of Hormuze is fully reopened. The deadline has now been delayed by 34 hours and goes from Monday 10am to 8pm on Tuesday. Here's the problem. We have a president that's just a free baller like he. There's no mindful thought. And at the same time, all of these generals that have worked in the Pentagon for 30, 40, 50 years are getting fired by Pete Hegseth because they don't want to commit war crimes. That's just my opinion because why else would they get fired? They want to promote black people, they want to promote women who have earned these promotions. Pete Hagseth is a white Christian nationalist, racist to his core, loyal to Trump and he wants Trump to be able to have a Lethal, violent force in the name of Jesus to kill all of these Iranians, mind you, this big Christian, Donald Trump, this big Christian, Pete Heth, they don't even, they're not even bothered at all that a U.S. missile executed a double tap strike on an Iranian school full of little girls that just gets completely passed over because now they're going after infrastructure. And it seems to me that the United States is Now using the IDF's military strategy of committing war crimes as their very own. In any general, whether they be black, especially if they're black or women. But the white men that are generals that are executing what the American military should do, not commit war crimes, Hexeth is firing them. And what's Trump doing? He's firing all the women in his staff. And then here's something that we always have this thing in the United States. Boots on the ground, Boots on the ground. We can't have boots on the ground. And I agree, because we all have these visions of Vietnam, we all have these visions of Iraq and these long, drawn out battles. But even right now, there is killing happening, Carpet bombing of Tehran, little girls getting killed, infrastructure being struck. But Trump won't stop because this man is like a, a junkie. He's like a drug addict with this stuff. Like, he will always have to escalate so he gets a bigger high. And so he doesn't rule out boots on the ground. Pop this up. Julia Manchester reports. I just spoke briefing with President Trump on the phone. He said he is not ruling out sending ground troops into Iran if they do not make a deal. He also said no infrastructure targets are off the table for US Strikes if no deal is reached. So basically the infrastructure, infrastructure targets, war crimes, boots on the ground, American troops on the ground, they're going. It will be a bloodbath. There is no way around mass casualty events. And remember, all of this could have been avoided if we had a rational president that kept Obama's deal with Iran in place, but he couldn't do it because a black man did it. So they had to rip that up. And here we are. Here we are. Because these people think they know better. And every single time we elect a Republican, this always happens. Always. Inflation, war, national debt. Rich people don't have to pay taxes, though. And guess what? Nobody has the pronouns in their emails anymore at the Pentagon. So, you know, they're all happy about that. And then the New York Times has revealed that Trump is reveling in these threats to commit war crimes. Pop this up. Trump revels in threats to commit war crimes in Iran. The president said he would bomb Iran back to the stone ages. Until this administration, American leaders had insisted they were trying to follow international law in war. So until this administration, the American military at least put up the appearances that they were trying to follow international law. But I have this, I have, I have to point out that I think that the United States of America, if you look back to what happened with George W. Bush and the CIA black sites and Abu Ghraib, we've committed war crimes and we've never really atoned for them. And this is really continuing foreign policy under Republicans. They continue to do this. Trump just isn't as polite about it as Rumsfeld and Bush and Cheney were. And on top of all of this, on top of all of this, just quagmire, incompetence, praise be to Allah, all of this, they're censoring what we find out about the war. The intercept is doing some incredible reporting here. Hundreds of U. S. Personnel have been killed or injured in the region since the U. S. Launched a war on Iran just over a month ago. Casualty cover up. The Pentagon is hiding U. S. Losses under Trump in the middle east. So on top of everything else, censorship. These guys tell you, they are so pro America, they're so pro Christian values, they're so pro the constitution. It's all a lie. They do not care about the free press, they do not care about constitutional rights. Wealth never trickles down. And the biggest one of all, that these people are godly good Christian men. All of it is built on lies for a guy, their big Christian leader who tweets praise be to Allah on Easter morning. I mean, in the world that I grew up in a year ago, a year and a half ago, Jesse Waters, all of Greg Gutfield, Sean Hannity should all be in the ER right now after reading that tweet from an American president. They won't even cover it. They won't even cover it because we live in a world of censorship and propaganda. All right, that's all we have. Like, subscribe comment. We'll be back later with more news.
