All right, I don't know about you guys, but there is a group of MAGA voters who aren't cultists, but they are like, I like the tax breaks and I like what Trump's doing for my 401k. And then you mentioned to them, like, what about how anti gay MAGA is? What about how racist they are? And they're dismissive of it. Like, oh no, I'm, I'm a moderate, I'm Pro gay, I'm LGBTQ out the wazoo. Well, it turns out they're not. It turns out that there's a group of Americans that care more about their alleged tax break and the economy that they're willing to throw people they love under the bus. They're willing to look people in the eye and say, I love you, but I'm going to go cast a vote that's going to hurt you. And one of the champions, the biggest homophobe on the planet of this movement is Riley Gaines, who only has a career because she tied for fifth place with a trans swimmer. Actor Elliot Page steps out on the red carpet in London and Riley Gaines has a stage five meltdown regarding this. Like, nobody on the planet would think much of this. Actors step on the red carpet all the time. Riley Gaines, Stage five meltdown. Pop this up. Not a single person with a functioning brain and a sh. In a shred of honesty looks at this woman and sees a man I see an insecure woman who was sold a lie that cutting off her body parts would make her something she will never become. Quite sad, really. What's sad to me is that you don't appear to have a single functioning brain cell, that your whole life is based on this codependent, toxic meddling. Why don't you let Elliot Page live their life and leave them alone? How does this affect you? How does your tweet deliver for people that have cancer in America and don't have health care? How does your tweet help with the national debt? How does anything you do, Riley Gaines, deliver for anybody other than every single day you put on a masterclass about why nobody wants to be a Christian anymore because you're full of hate and judgment and meddling. It's really grotesque. And MAGA Christians like Riley Gaines, she just feasts on cruelty. Their whole sect of Christianity is just to be cruel, to be racist, to be homophobic and to be duplicitous. And it goes all the way to the very top of the movement. Pop this up. Trump DOJ says LGBTQ plus legal protections are anti Christian pledges to erode them further. And there's more reporting on this from the article. Pop this up. A 197 page report released Thursday by the Department of Justice's Task Force to Eradicate Anti Christian Bias said that pro LGBTQ/ policies pursued by former President Joe Biden are anti Christian. They point out that Biden is a Roman Catholic and numerous Christian groups support LGBTQ plus inclusive social policies. I live in New York now, as you know, and every church I walk by on the streets of New York has trans flags. Black Lives Matter. Immigrants welcome. Refugees welcome. Everybody's welcome here. The breed of Christianity that Riley Gaines and all of these MAGA Christians have is fundamentally judgmental and racist. It's fundamentally not about Riley becoming a better person, but she wants to be a hall monitor and a tattletale and make somebody's life miserable for what? Because she's miserable? Like, then it makes me want to deep dive into what's going on with Riley's husband. Like what's going on in your life that you're so fixated on somebody whose acting career affects your life. 0. If that trans swimmer had not tied for you for fifth place, you'd still be fifth place, but you wouldn't have this hateful career on Fox News putting on a master class on why everybody hates hates MAGA Christians. And the report from the DOJ argues that banning conversion therapy is hurting Christians, not gay people. The report also claims that Biden's 2022 executive order against conversion therapy took steps to limit Christian families from seeking therapy from like minded therapists on matters of sexual orientation and gender ideology. Painting with a broad background brush that denigrated and attempted to outlaw religious counseling based on traditional views, deeming such approaches to be dangerous. And the Supreme Court is already gearing up to further dismantle the rights of LGBTQ plus Americans next term. Let's pop this up. Justice is to hear case on Catholic preschools that reject children of gay parents. I cannot tell you from my life in the Bible Belt. There are private schools popping up all over the place. And these schools are explicitly anti trans, anti LGBTQ plus. They make the students and the parents sign documents that say that they believe that marriage is only between a man and a woman. They make parents sign documents that they will only enroll their child at the gender they were given at birth. This is systemic discrimination. My son wanted to go to a particular Catholic school and because all of his friends were going there and there was a document that I was required to sign and I told my son, I will not sign this document. It was a homophobic, institutionalized, anti LGBTQ plus contract that I am incapable of signing. I was incapable of signing it and told my son, I'm so sorry, but you cannot go to this school because I will not pay money to an organization that covered up child rape and now is injecting institutionalized homophobia into the system. My son later, of course he was mad at me, but it was a, a, a fight that I was willing to take on to teach him how to have moral grit, to teach him how to stand up for the marginalized. And a year later he thanked me because a lot of these kids, of course this culture trickles down. They use slurs like faggot. The parents just dismiss it and say, doesn't surprise me that they say that. Well, it needs to surprise us because look at what is happening. Look at what is happening to our country. For LGBTQ Americans, their first bullies are their parents, in many cases their churches, their schools. And regardless of how many schools make these contracts, you're not going to ungay somebody conservative. MAGA people give birth to gay kids. Christians give birth to gay kids. I want to live in a culture where we teach acceptance and tolerance and people have a backbone and stand up for the marginalized instead of constantly capitulating to right wing patriarchal framing. It's dangerous, it's hurtful, and it's in this whole generation of kids that are being raised with Donald Trump as the president of the United States. Their moral standards are already so degraded. But then you pile on these schools and you pile on the federal government. You pile on Fox News. The obsession with gender and sexuality by the Republicans is at a fever pitch because historians and scholars have told us from the very beginning that the through line between all of these autocracies is homophobia and the next on the table is women. And if you subscribe to a politics that leaves someone behind, eventually you will get left behind. This is just one stop. And then they will move the goal post and move them again. And I think if the Riley Gaines of the world, she's so anti trans and she's so anti gay, don't have trans friends, don't have gay friends. Go to white Bible study heterosexual missionary sex world all you want to, but leave people alone. Either this is a free country or it's not. But culturally, on a local level, we have to not have schools that are allowed tax breaks that systemically teach homophobia and racism and bigotry. It's damaging to our children. It's damaging to our culture and it breeds this horrific, horrific culture where we have Riley Gaines lecturing us and dropping hateful tweets about somebody.
