I thought I was the only one that was shocked that Democrats aren't fighting back tooth and nail, voting no on everything, raising hell, finding vulnerable Republican candidates and bullying them and getting them on course to vote against a fascist regime. So much to my surprise, I was shocked as to see Kanks slurring and demented, basically echoing the same sentiment.
Donald Trump
Play the clip would be met with fury on the left. But they're sort of giving up. I must be honest with you. They've had it. They've had it with Trump. They've been after me for so many years now. Here we are. Here we are. Come to the White House anytime you'd like. No, they've given up. Bad. A lot of bad people. But all over. That's been so popular. It's been a very popular. I really thought that we were going to have to sort of fight it through. There's been no fight. There's been no fight.
Progressive Political Commentator
And you know what? He's right. He's exactly right. I thought he would be met with fury on the left. I thought it would be resistance across the board. I thought that every US Senator would vote no across the board on this clown car of cabinet members that he has proposed. I thought across the board, Hakeem Jeffries and others would not take the bait to. To honor an unrepentant racist who demeaned black people every chance he can get in the. In the resolution to honor Charlie Kirk. But instead they play patty cake with fascists because they're beholden to the same corporations that helped elect this, who, by the way, is standing there talking to a bunch of military generals and the day before Pete Hegseth is saying, we don't want anybody fat in the military. And then they trot out the commander in chief for fat ass Kank. So that's just all beyond me. But here is the disregard and disrespect that they treat Jeffries and Schumer with. Put this up. So here is Jeffries in the Oval and they have positioned Trump 20, 28 hats. Jeffrey should have stood up, said fuck you and turned around and walked out immediately. This is. They are normalizing this. They are priming the public. He's not leaving. Look at the Marie Antoinette shit in the. Look at all of the, all of the plans that he talks about. Look at how much he's enriched himself. He's robbing the piggy bank. He sees this entire government to service his fragile ego. And he keeps getting assist from people who are playing a different game. They're Playing. We're going to do everything in our power to fuck this country up as much as possible. And we're going to act like every American voted for us. And the Dems somehow are playing like we're going to try to find agreement where we can. We're going to see where we can have bipartisanship agreement. You're playing two different games, Jeffries. You should have stood up, said you turned around, walked out, and then start finding vulnerable people in your house that are centrist Republicans. Organize independent media and let's go. I mean, the clock is ticking. And then here is Jeffrey's response on CNN as to this meeting. Play the clip. When he tried to hand you that Trump 2028 hat, what was your reaction?
Hakeem Jeffries
Well, actually, he did not try to hand Leader Schumer and I the Trump 2028 hat. He just randomly appeared in the middle of the meeting on the desk. It was the strangest thing ever. And I just looked at the hat, looked at JD Vance, who was seated to my left, and said, don't. You got a problem with this.
Progressive Political Commentator
Hakeem? No, he doesn't have a problem with that. He is priming himself. They are priming it right now because Kings, everybody can see he's in terrible health. JD Vance is never going to get elected. So they are priming it to where either Kanks resigns, Kanks has a stroke, or biology catches up with him, and then it passes on to J.D. vance. And because you've bent over so much the last nine months, all of the power that SCOTUS and your colleagues on the right have abdicated to the executive branch is going to be for a far more ambitious person than Kanks because Kanks is lazy af. And so he absolutely is letting you know we, we are not leaving. We are not leaving. And J.D. vance never intends to be on the ticket and win a legitimate race because he knows he can't. The courts know he can't. And when I say I mean court, Supreme Court, they know we can't. They've been groomed by the Heritage foundation and the Federalist Society, and they want a Christ nationalist regime. But because you're beholden to the same people that elected kanks that spent $300 million, $250 million, APAC and all of their affiliates to elect this guy, you receive money from them, too. So you can't come out and swing at this thing and say, enough, we're not doing this anymore. So here we have. Next up is Senator Van Hollen, who is adding on and piling on to Jeffries. Jeffries, inept leadership in this moment. Put up this tweet, Kylie. At an event in D.C. senator Chris Van Hollen keeps it going with at Hakeem Jeffries over not endorsing Zoran Mamdani. If you can't back the kind of campaign he ran, quote, don't ask those young people to show up for other Democrats across the country. That's the message that will be sent. And he is exactly right. You have a candidate who got 50,000 volunteers who won the Democratic primary, and Hakeem can't come out. He cannot come out and endorse him because Hakeem is compromised. And that's why we have this lackluster limp dick response. Can you imagine if somebody would have put that hat And I disagreed with Nancy Pelosi on a lot of stuff, but I'll tell you what, she took pride in going after Trump. She took pride in whipping together all of the members of her party and unifying a message that we're not going to stand for this. Hakeem is over his skis, and then he's over his skis for this guy right here. So this guy that I'm about to play, he's slurring, grandma. Looks like he just got lost, like, wandered off from the memory care wing of the nursing home. And to imagine that somebody says something like this to the military. What I'm about to play. And then Hakeem shows up like. Like we both agree in democracy and we're able to work towards something for the American people, for the working class. Play the clip.
Donald Trump
What it is. Only in recent decades did politicians somehow come to believe that our job is to police the far reaches of Kenya and Somalia while America is un under invasion from within. We're under invasion from within. No different than a foreign enemy, but more difficult in many ways because they don't wear uniforms, at least when they're wearing a uniform.
Progressive Political Commentator
Okay, this is where Hakeem should have a press conference and start calling him a fascist. Say, play the clip. Play the clip. What he is talking about to the United States military is, buckle up, buttercups, you're going to go fight Americans. This is fascism. This is Hitleresque. And the democratic leadership needs to use the words that the administration is trying to make illegal. They're doing fascist. Call out the fascist. Call out the Supreme Court for enabling fascist. And quit around, for God's sakes. Here's another clip of Kanks off his rocker. He always says this crazy. And I'm going to play this for you, because this is who the Democrats are trying to negotiate with. Number one, he's a fascist. And when he's not being a fascist, he just free balls and says stupid like this to people who have devoted their lives to serving in the military with integrity and decorum and decency and believe in code and honor and all of that stuff. Kank stands in front of all of these career people after his secretary of defense calls them all fat, and then this fat ass trots out, and then he says shit like this.
Donald Trump
Yeah, Second World War. They were freighters and different types, but we were doing a ship a day, and now we don't do ships. And I'm not a fan of some of the ships you do. I'm a very aesthetic person. I don't like some of the ships you're doing. Aesthetically, they say, oh, it's stealth. I said, that's not so. An ugly ship is not necessary in.
Progressive Political Commentator
Order to say, clearly he's frail, clearly he's demented. And for him to sit there and say he's an aesthetic person when he can't blend his makeup, when he can't tailor his suit, when he's got bruises all over his hands, when he's got cankles that are as wide as the Mississippi, and he has completely ruined the Oval Office, he ruined the Rose Garden just by putting out concrete tiles with umbrellas. And he thinks he's an aesthetic person. That's rich. But furthermore, this is not a serious conversation. You don't like the way a stealth ship looks, Shut the up. That is not what the military is about. Making beautiful ships. But that's how asinine and regressive and emotionally stunted this administration is. And the Democratic leadership, HAKEEM AND CHUCKLES. If you cannot rise to the moment, it's fine. Step aside and let some other fighters stand up. That will rally the base, that will rally centrist Republicans. That will allow a position for the people to start applying pressure on titans of industry like we did abc. And then abc, in turn, applied pressure on Sinclair Broadcasting. This is the moment. This is the moment. The moment to do it. And it's so easy to draw a stark contrast in this guy. I mean, this is the shit that he says. It is a layup, so quit fucking around and let's start fighting for democracy. We'll be back later with more news today, and we'll see you soon.
Title: Trump Slurs Through Unhinged Speech And Publicly Humiliates Dem Leaders
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Date: October 1, 2025
In this episode, Jennifer and Angie dive into the latest scandalous Trump speech, lambasting both the former president’s bizarre public behavior and what they see as the Democratic Party’s limp-wristed response. Their signature comedic, biting analysis targets Trump’s slurred, often nonsensical remarks, as well as Democratic leaders—like Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer—whom they accuse of playing nice with autocrats and failing to fight for democracy.

The hosts are scathing about Hakeem Jeffries’s response to Trump’s provocations.
The show references a pointed critique from Senator Chris Van Hollen against Jeffries:
Jennifer and Angie adopt a raw, exasperated, and darkly comedic tone throughout, liberally mixing profanity, biting sarcasm, and pop-culture analogies to underscore their deep concern and anger at both Trump’s conduct and the Democratic Party’s response.
