So why in 2026, are we still talking about the 2020 election? My newsfeed is full of Trump talking about the 2020 election. He's seizing ballots from Georgia, now Arizona. And why are we in this? It's over. But it's not over. It's all part of a plan for Trump to steal the midterms. And so when he raided the Arizona ballots, he was asked by a reporter, a female reporter that he insulted. But here's what he said.
Reporter
Sir, in Arizona. Sir in Arizona, why did the FBI seize election records in that state? Well, they probably thought the election was rigged. It wasn't rigged, though.
Political Analyst
Really?
Political Commentator
Who?
Reporter
How do you know? Your. Your own. Your own attorney general in 2020 said that there was not measurable voter fraud to change the outcome of the election. I think there's no. Sir. Where's the evidence of that?
Political Commentator
So you're a rotten reporter. I think it was rigged. I mean, he will be on his deathbed and say the 2020 election was rigged. He will be on his deathbed talking about the seven wars he settled. He didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize. But to me, in 2026, we're talking about this because this man has every intention of rigging the election towards him. And so the question I ask myself is, why? How is he doing this? Why is he going into Arizona? So Mark Elias, who is the preeminent voting attorney specialist on this, he had these comments, and I think it's really important we listen.
Voting Rights Expert
Bry run for 2026. Every time they engage in these tactics, they learn something about the logistics of seizing ballots. And that's no small thing. I mean, in Fulton county, remember, they went and got a search warrant, and then it turns out their search warrant was wrong because it targeted the wrong facility or the wrong place. Well, in the process of fixing that, they learned something about how you seize ballots in Fulton county when you saw the.
Political Commentator
So, Jennifer, how, on a scale of 1 to 10, how scared, are you about Trump rigging the 2026 midterms?
Political Analyst
I mean, I think he's already starting that process. I think that's what we're seeing. I think you see a multi pronged strategy where the ICE in Minnesota, in a blue state that is number one, to feed the cruelty that the MAGA base likes to see. They like to see people be bullied, particularly brown skinned people. Seeing a lesbian get shot at point blank range excites them. And we all have to come to terms with the fact that for the MAGA loyalists, that was not a, an ender for them, that did not end their MAGA support. So it shows you the sociopathy, the psychopathy of the MAGA supporter. But I think he is using that in blue states to push these governors to see what he can do for the midterms. That's number one. Number two, I have long thought that he is going to try to claim, render the 2020 election results invalid and say that he actually won those. And I think it's going to be multiple fronts. I think he's going to get Maduro to say something and he's going to pardon Maduro. I think he's going to get all of these ballots from these, in his mind, contested states. Listener, they are not contested states. And then he's going to create a faux constitutional crisis which the corporate media and the pundits will lap up like lap dogs. And they will be like, well, if he's claiming that he won the 2020 elections, then this really technically is his third term. So what do we do about that amendment? And then I think he's going to, just like Mark Elias said, he's learning how do we get the judges, how do we. Because it will be a blue tsunami. How do we get, as soon as the election's over, how do we get the FBI in to grab the ballots? He is trying to do the Save Act. He is, he wants to ban mail in ballots. And so I think it's on, it's an assault on voting. And it's so incredibly important that people realize that black America has been dealing with the assault on voting forever. The disparity in polling places, in black neighborhoods and in all white neighborhoods is very similar to the disparity in sentencing of cocaine and crack cocaine. And time and time again, as we move forward as a country, the overzealous ICE agents, black America tried to warn us for decades. We have a problem with the police. We have a problem here. This is not equal justice. This is predatory policing. They Tried to warn us, we didn't listen. They've been warning us about voting. They've been warning us about gerrymandering. And one of the autopsies of all of this will be a Democratic Party that acknowledges the narrative that have you taken black votes for granted? And I think that, yes, the answer to that question is yes, because black America has tried to warn us of this. They have warned us of voting problems for a long time after 2020. What did they do? They said in Georgia, guess where a lot of black people live? Atlanta. You can't take somebody a bottle of water that is waiting in line to vote. And that's where all of the long lines are. So this, to me, there's been warning signs of all of this long before this man's third term. And the error of free thinking Americans that fight for equality for all and universal human rights. The error is not taking black people seriously and resolving things in real time and not seeding ground and fighting with everything in us for our fellow Americans and not being racist apologists or people that excuse other people's racism or diminish it because we are all Americans. And that is when I, when I really open my mind up and look at this. That's what pisses me off the most about it. Because there were signs a long time ago, before this freak, that we had major issues.
Political Commentator
No, I think you're exactly right on that. And one thing I think about elections. Okay, well, elections are safe because they're localized, they're run by the states. So of course, Donald Trump doesn't like that. So we're seeing these reports that as the 2026 midterm elections approach, legal advisors and conservative activists closely associated with US President Donald Trump are discussing a draft executive order that would declare a national emergency over suspected foreign interference and that would allow Trump and his administration to go in and take over what has been the jobs of the state. So it would be so much easier for them to rig.
Political Analyst
Well, there's no question the attack on Iran, number one, allowed the Epstein searches to plummet. It allowed him to whatever BB has over him. And it may just be the APAC money. It may be some compromising information from the Epstein files. Who knows? I would believe all of the above. Honestly, I would. But it's also going to allow for a false flag incident to happen. And they're already telegraphing that basically there's a false flag, you know, terror attack coming to California. I think cyber attacks are going to come that are going to be inside hit jobs Particularly in blue states, probably like in places like Texas, where now Texas could technically be considered for that Senate seat, technically be considered a swing state. A lot of deeply read states are now kind of considered swing states because Trump's base is in lockstep with him. But independent voters, Latinos for Trump, the blacks for Trump, people with a brain, have left that movement. And so he's got to get control. Otherwise, what Mike Johnson says, I mean, fingers crossed that if we have the blue tsunami that we should have, and we should, we should, every politician should embrace the pendulum swinging. This guy, this guy's getting impeached. And here's the thing. I just want to say this. I go down this rabbit hole of, okay, Trump has immunity. He's never going to face accountability from the Supreme Court, and then he's going to pardon all of the idiots in his cabinet. And then I think, you know what the Democrats need to do? They need to come in and say there are new laws, get new laws passed, that there are certain crimes that are outside of a presidential pardon. There are certain crimes that are outside of this immunity from the Supreme Court, like rigging elections, like starting an illegal war, and they need to get fucking serious about it. Now, do I think Hakeem and Chuckles are going to do that? No, because they're governed by aipac. And so it's. I, I'm very, very, very worried about these elections.
Political Commentator
Well, an interference. We had that Cyber Security in 2020 that said, no, the election was secure. Russia and other countries, they've upped their game in the propaganda and the attack, cyber attacks like you were referring to. And so we've got this big election coming up in Hungary and Russia and the Trump administration, they want Viktor Orban to be reelected and he's grossly unpopular. So the Financial Times is reporting that now Russia, the Kremlin backs covert campaign to keep Viktor Orban in power. The Kremlin has launched a disinformation campaign aimed at helping Orban got reelected. So this tells me when I read this, they are going to do the exact same thing in the United States as is Israel. And they have all the media, tick tock, all of those things. So I look at this and think we are fighting so much more than the SAVE act and, you know, ICE surrounding an election site and the gerrymandering, because I believe that other countries are going to try to keep Trump in power, because Russia has never been in a better spot in, you know, at least the last two decades. Bibi Netanyahu has everything he wants from this administration. So it's coming on all fronts, both domestically and internationally.
Political Analyst
Yeah. And Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban. That is a plan that also captures the United States oligarchs desires. They want to do away with the European Union. They cannot have a social democracy. They cannot have examples of a social democracy exist while they're trying to tear it down and go to their technocratic CEO governed style theocracy where the CEO is the head of the world. And these people are really dark people. So another point I want to make about Hungary that I think is really important and a missed opportunity from democrats as far as messaging goes. And they should have been messaging this about 10 years ago. The conservative movement, the MAGA movement that claims like we love Trump because he dry humped the American flag and he's such a patriot. We all know that's bullshit. They get their inspiration from Hungary and no disrespect there pumps and I went to Budapest. There are wonderful progressive people that live in Hungary just like there are wonderful progressive people that live in Iran that live in the United States of America. Okay, not every citizen citizenry is a monolith. But a really missed opportunity for Democrats would have been to hammer. CPAC has all of their meetings in Hungary. The United States of America is looking at Hungary and their corrupt two bit dictatorship as inspiration. Since when does the United States look to a newly formed dictatorship as the government that inspires them? We're fucking America. And they could have tapped into those independent patriotic voters, but they don't, they don't message any of this because they have to crowdsource everything. And then also, and I will say this forever, you cannot have an opposition party when your opposition party also takes money from the organization AIPAC that gave Trump over to hundred million dollars. You're fighting the same fight for the same people. And it's just, in my opinion the most toxic, toxic organization heading into the midterms is APAC donations like this. We have to get Israel lobbying out of our government, period. They do not get to weaponize anti Semitism against us anymore. They do not. And honestly they're harming, they're harming Jews worldwide by conflating their corrupt hard right fascist government with all Jewish people. And so really the true anti Semites, the ones who are harming Jews worldwide are the gaslighters at aipac. Truly, that nothing they're doing is helpful. Nothing. All right guys, that's all we have. Episode: Trump Snaps at "Rotten" Female Reporter When Pressed on Rigging Elections
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Date: March 15, 2026
In this episode, Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan dive into the latest bombshells around Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to relitigate the 2020 election, the implications for the 2026 midterms, and the broader strategies and risks facing American democracy. With their trademark progressive candor and humor, the hosts unpack Trump’s heated exchange with a female reporter, legal and political maneuvering to undermine elections, international interference, and the Democratic Party’s long-standing blind spots—particularly towards Black American voters.
The hosts close by urging progressives to be vigilant, not take Black American concerns for granted, and challenge the normalization of authoritarian tactics by both Republicans and mainstream Democrats. They call for serious new laws restricting presidential overreach and warn against complacency as the midterms loom.
