I'm Kiana and I leveled up my business with Shopify. Once I figured out that Shopify was a thing, I never turned back. I can create a site with my eyes closed. Shopify thinks ahead of us, you know, and it thinks about the customer more than anything. Every day I'm thinking about some other new business, but Shopify is doing it to me because it's so easy to use. It's like I can't stop. I'm addicted. Start your free trial@shopify.com.
Ornod Founder
i started Ornod in 2013 and we make bike apparel. The best part of Shopify for me is our ability to run the business as essentially non technical people. We're able to admin everything on the back end, front end, and sell things online easily. If Shopify were a bike accessory, I think it would actually be the bicycle. It's the thing that you do the thing on. We run the business on Shopify, so start your free trial on Shopify.com.

Political Commentator 1
We're not hearing what we should be hearing every day from the mainstream media. Trump is one foot in the grave. This is the Weekend at Bernie's presidents and so few Democrats are coming out and talking about the cognitive decline of this president. But we have one that continues to do it in a spectacular fashion. Here is Governor of Illinois J.B. pritzker.
Political Commentator 2
The President has dementia.
Political Commentator 3
I do, I do. I think if you look at any of the videos from from 2015 or 2016 and look at how he responded to questions and how he was at press conferences, and then you fast forward and look at him now. I really think that there's something genuinely wrong with him. I'm not a doctor. I haven't diagnosed anything. I'm just suggesting to you that. Just look at the way he puts words and sentences together and thoughts and they're almost divergent in the same sentences.
Political Commentator 1
Almost divergent. He contradicts himself every time he opens his mouth and he makes no sense.
Political Commentator 2
I just want to say, like, thank you. This is literally, like you said, what you should be hearing every single day, not just from possible, like Presidential candidates and governors. But I want to hear like the Caitlyn Collins, I want to hear CNN anchors talking about this, having doctors on if they need to. But I mean, Iran knows it.
Political Commentator 1
Yeah.
Political Commentator 2
All these other country, these world leaders know it. We are gas lit in America on this issue. So like, we need to be saying this out loud more.
Political Commentator 1
No, I completely agree. And we know who know, we know who knows it more than anyone. BB Netanyahu. I look at the disaster going on in the Strait of Hormuz in Iran. Okay. And then AOC who we love, she's a queen, always a fighter. She disses J.D. vance and this is so good.
Political Commentator 2
J.D.
Political Commentator 1
vance just said in an interview that
Political Commentator 2
he thinks you are going to be the leading Democratic candidate for president in 2020. I mean, you know,
Political Commentator 1
I hope he is. That's what I'll say.
Political Commentator 2
I love her.
Political Commentator 4
I feel like this is the clearest sign yet that she might be running. I mean, I'm all for it. If honestly, when I think about the possible 2028 nominees, she's the one that I'm most excited about. I think she's such a good communicator. She can speak on an array of policy areas. She connects to young people. She's hot. She's hot. Yeah. And she, you know, she kind of is one of the people who started this movement, the progressive movement, you know, that has been growing so much as we've seen in these recent elections.
Political Commentator 1
Well, and she's also never lost touch with blue collar Americans, low income American, middle class American. She's not fighting for billionaires in the oligarchy. Correct. And so let's contrast Representative AOC and Representative Troy Neals out of Texas. I mean, this guy is exactly what you think of when you think of pink arm, below average, mediocrity at its finest. Here is the great state of Texas's best foot forward in Congress.
Political Commentator 4
Real quick, how do House Republicans make
Political Commentator 1
the case that you're fighting for affordability
Political Commentator 4
when you go back to your districts?
Troy Neils
Affordability? What are you talking about?
Political Commentator 4
Well, affordability is the big.
Troy Neils
I'm going to go there tomorrow. I'm going to well over the fourth. I'm going to get me a couple big lobster tails. I'm going to get me some nice ribeyes. I'm going to sit in my backyard with my family, my neighbors, and we're going to be enjoying the 4th, celebrating 250 years, the birthday. We're going to be celebrating the greatest president, my lifetime, Donald J. Trump.
Political Commentator 2
This, this is the like let them eat cake in the 1700s that had the people revolting.
Political Commentator 1
Tell us about Troy Neil's. What kind of guy is he?
Political Commentator 2
Oh, yeah, I've heard his name recently. What he.
Political Commentator 4
So he actually was investigated by the Office of Congressional Ethics over allegations that he used tens of thousands of dollars from campaign funds to pay himself rent.
Political Commentator 2
To buy lobster as well.
Political Commentator 4
To buy lobster as well.
Political Commentator 1
Then that makes him the perfect Trumper.
Political Commentator 4
It does make him the perfect Trumper.
Political Commentator 1
Funds.
Political Commentator 4
And not only that, but he refused to comply with the investigation. And his reasoning was that the Office of Congressional Ethics, quote, was created under Nancy Pelosi, which is why I refuse to cooperate. I'm not sure that that's the actual reason why you're refusing to cooperate. And if you will believe it, the clip. If we fast forward a little bit, it does get worse.
Political Commentator 1
Okay, let's play it.
Political Commentator 4
I think 60 of Americans who are
Political Commentator 1
living paycheck to paycheck can afford lobster tails and ribeyes and all of that.
Troy Neils
May not. Maybe the. Maybe the 60% of America don't work as hard as I do either. I mean, I don't know.
Political Commentator 1
Okay, first of all, they don't work as hard as you do. Mike Johnson shuts down Congress more than any speaker in my lifetime. They let work less than one third of a year work as hard as you do. How hard is it to put your lips on Trump's ass? Every time I think about Austin and Houston and these big blue cities, I think they have to commingle and coexist with these dipshits. And then anytime I want to give Texans, like a break, like Talarico and Paxton, they're running neck and neck. Houston, the city of Houston continues to elect Ted Cruz by. The only thing people in politics can agree on is that he is a deplorable human. But this, Troy, this is what's wrong with United States politicians. They don't give a About their constituents. It is no longer a divine idea to go and work, work for others, making other people's lives better. They don't give a. He's worried about stuffing his fat ass with lobsters. I mean, it's so gross. And you. Here's the thing. He blends right in.
Political Commentator 2
This is like the, like, classic Republican talking point. If you're poor, it's because you're lazy, right? So, like, according to him, like, nurses, single moms with two jobs, health care workers, teachers, they're all. They just don't work as hard as Troy Nels.
Political Commentator 1
That's the issue Less than one third of the calendar year. It's so gross. And speaking of so gross, we would not, we would be remiss if we did not show you the latest from President Trump and his lover. Lover Muffin. I've seen online where they're calling this Natalie Harp, his hospice care worker. Yeah, you can't deny he needs one. All right, so pop this up, Kylie. The pertinent part is Trump says he is going to have a midterm convention in Dallas to laud himself and praise himself about the affordability. Here's what he's done for affordability. Which didn't he just say that was a made up word. So here's what his agenda is at this point. Transformative. Midterm election or midterm convention. No tax on tips. That's temporary. No tax on overtime. That does not exist. No tax on Social Security. That does not exist. Stronger borders. People quit coming over. I don't know how strong the borders are. Safe. Safest ever communities. That's a lie. Because American citizens are being shot down by their own government. Lower costs and real affordability. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Everybody with eyeballs and a car and who buys Gro, who eats knows that that is a lie. More jobs. The weakest job market in recent history. Keep going, Kylie. I'm not, I'm just getting started. American energy, Energy dominance. Is he kidding? Iran has the US by the balls because of the straight of her moves here. Here's the deal. We heard prior to the war in Iran that Trump was going to century and he was going to rally people for the midterms on his affordability and economic message. I say good. Go out there and tell people with Troy Nils in Texas how great it is to have lobster while people are eating ramen noodles and not able to pick up their prescriptions. This just shows the gaslighting and the abuse he heaps on the American people. And I guarantee you in rural Oklahoma right now there's somebody driving up to the gas tank that's counting out pennies and to pay for gas. That's like, I love our President. He's a patriot. And it's not more affordable here. But I'm sure he, he said it was more affordable, so it must be more affordable somewhere. The lies that keep coming out of this man really would be staggering if we weren't so immune to it.
Political Commentator 4
I think this is a great idea for them to have a midterm convention. I don't think there's anything better for the Democrats than to put on display what Trump has done for his first two years in office. About. We just know that Trump is completely unable to stay on message. It's not going to focus on any of these things, partly because many of them didn't happen. It will be focus on his latest grievance.
Political Commentator 1
Yeah.
Political Commentator 4
You know what he's thinking about at any given time.
Political Commentator 2
Obama.
Political Commentator 1
Obama. The ballroom.
Political Commentator 4
The ballroom. He's, he's apparently developing a new golf course. So criminal algae.
Political Commentator 1
Don't forget criminal algae.
Political Commentator 4

Political Commentator 1
And here's the deal. I please do not talk to me about affordability when Mike Johnson's already said they want to cut Medicare and Social Security, yet they want to fund the def. Donald Trump wants 1.6 trillion more dollars for the Department of Defense. Russell Vogt, who's the, you know, brainchild of the Project 2025, testified that he is just fine with spending $1.25 billion to rename the Department of Defense the Department of War. And here's the deal. Pete Hegseth should be embarrassed because he has been bent over and shown to be the incompetent that we all knew he was with this war in Iran. So branding for projects, you know, gold statues, all that shit, that's where the affordability, that's Trump's idea of affordability. And just on a real high note, not just in New York are Democratic socialists winning primaries. We saw out of Colorado last night. 29 year old democratic socialist Melot Kiros will defeat 15 term incumbent Rep. Diana De Gete in the Democratic primary for Colorado one. Kiros, a first time candidate and former attorney dominated the Denver assembly and tapped into anti incumbent sentiment. Kiros was born four months after Degate first took office. Good for her. Good for Dems that sit around and want better and want to do things differently. So I was happy to hear this. It's not just in New York City.
Political Commentator 2
I think this is a big flashing neon sign to all the sitting Democrats and politicians that feel really comfortable in their seat. This is a warning for you guys. Like there is a movement happening.
Political Commentator 4
We're the same age and she's doing a lot bigger and better things than I am sitting behind a screen right here. But Hakeem Jeffries is going to have, you know, he's going to have to work with these people. So you know, I really do hope that the Democrats take back the House and the Senate. But they are going to have to learn to cooperate and coexist with one another. And I don't think that's going to be, you know, the easiest task in the world.
Political Commentator 1
Well, no, as Jennifer says all the time when you take the same money as MAGA Republicans from donors, you are controlled opposition. And what we're seeing is the American people have a real hunger for true opposition. And that is what we're going to do here at ihip. We are going to stay the course. We are going to stay resisting please like this video and subscribe to our channel. And we will be back with more news.
Episode: “Trump Suffering Mentally; Called Out on CNN 'He Has Dementia'”
Date: July 1, 2026
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
This episode dives into concerns about Donald Trump's cognitive state, recent Republican talking points on affordability, hypocrisy in conservative politics, and a surge of progressive wins in Democratic primaries. The hosts blend biting humor, pointed critique, and progressive perspective, focusing on what they describe as media gaslighting around Trump’s mental health, out-of-touch political elites, and a groundswell of energy in the progressive movement.
The hosts highlight the lack of frank discussion by mainstream media about Trump’s cognitive state. They play a clip of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker directly stating:
“The President has dementia.” (01:56, Political Commentator 2)
Commentators compare Trump’s public presence now to that in 2015–16, suggesting marked decline:
“Just look at the way he puts words and sentences together. … they’re almost divergent in the same sentences.” (01:58, Political Commentator 3)
Critique of U.S. media’s reluctance to address Trump's condition, contrasting with more open acknowledgement by world leaders:
“We are gas lit in America on this issue. So like, we need to be saying this out loud more.” (02:54, Political Commentator 2)
Hosts praise Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) as a potential 2028 presidential candidate, citing her communication skills and connection to working-class Americans.
“She’s the one that I’m most excited about. … She connects to young people. She’s hot. … She started this movement, the progressive movement.” (03:44, Political Commentator 4)
AOC contrasted favorably against establishment Democrats and Republicans:
“She’s not fighting for billionaires in the oligarchy.” (04:26, Political Commentator 1)
Hosts react to Rep. Troy Neils celebrating the Fourth of July by eating lobster tails and ribeyes while many Americans struggle with affordability.
“I’m gonna get me a couple big lobster tails... celebrating the greatest president, my lifetime, Donald J. Trump.” (05:08, Troy Neils)
Neils’ dismissive comments about working-class struggles ignite the hosts’ ire:
“Maybe the 60% of America don’t work as hard as I do either. I mean, I don’t know.” (06:44, Troy Neils) “This is the like let them eat cake in the 1700s...” (05:32, Political Commentator 2)
Hosts detail Neils’ ethics investigation for misuse of campaign funds, lack of cooperation, and hypocritical stances:
“He blends right in... They don’t give a... He’s worried about stuffing his fat ass with lobsters. I mean, it’s so gross.” (07:59, Political Commentator 1)
Larger critique of Republican rhetoric:
“If you’re poor, it’s because you’re lazy, right? … Nurses, single moms, healthcare workers, teachers, they just don’t work as hard as Troy Nels.” (07:59, Political Commentator 2)
Hosts mock Trump’s midterm convention plans and promises (e.g., no tax on tips, stronger borders, “most affordable” America):
“Are you kidding me? Everybody with eyeballs and a car and who buys groceries knows that that is a lie.” (09:36, Political Commentator 1)
Pointed sarcasm about Trump’s supposed economic record and continued gaslighting of rural communities:
“I guarantee you in rural Oklahoma right now there’s somebody driving up to the gas tank... like, I love our President. He’s a patriot. And it’s not more affordable here.” (10:36, Political Commentator 1)
Prediction that a Trump-centric midterm convention will backfire:
“I think this is a great idea for them to have a midterm convention. I don’t think there’s anything better for Democrats than to put on display what Trump has done for his first two years.” (10:53, Political Commentator 4)
“Donald Trump wants 1.6 trillion more dollars for the Department of Defense... $1.25 billion to rename the Department of Defense the Department of War.” (13:38, Political Commentator 1)
Celebration of the upset victory by democratic socialist Melot Kiros over 15-term incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado:
“Melot Kiros will defeat 15 term incumbent Rep. Diana De Gete ... Good for Dems that sit around and want better and want to do things differently.” (13:38, Political Commentator 1)
The implication is that a real progressive movement is rising and establishment politicians are on notice:
“This is a big flashing neon sign to all the sitting Democrats and politicians that feel really comfortable in their seat. This is a warning for you guys: like there is a movement happening.” (15:22, Political Commentator 2)
Jennifer summarizes a key critique of Democrats funded by the same sources as MAGA Republicans:
“As Jennifer says all the time, when you take the same money as MAGA Republicans from donors, you are controlled opposition. And what we’re seeing is the American people have a real hunger for true opposition.” (16:08, Political Commentator 1)
The hosts end on a clarion call:
“That is what we’re going to do here at IHIP. We are going to stay the course. We are going to stay resisting.” (16:38, Political Commentator 1)
Overall Tone:
Comedic, irreverent, and openly critical of conservative politics and complicit establishment Democrats. The hosts blend humor and outrage, aiming for a feel-good but unvarnished progressive space.
Listeners come away with a sense of urgency, hope for progressive change, and a clear-eyed critique of both Republican and Democratic politics, delivered with punchy wit and southern charm.
