All right. The President of the United States clearly has dementia, mental illness, cascade of other issues. Not to mention that he has such disdain for the military. He was adamantly anti war. He was very much against the neocons, talked about what a waste of money it was, how ridiculous these Republican neocons were. And then here he is now, a reporter asking him if he will put boots on the ground and have a Vietnam style war in Iran. Pop this up. The Iranian regime has told Sky News, if you put boots on the ground in Iran, it will be another Vietnam. Are you afraid of that? No, I'm not afraid of. I'm really not afraid of anything. Okay, he's not afraid of anything. And this is a draft dodger. This is a guy who calls the military people suckers and loser losers. But what he has exposed is that the Republican Party's support for the military and for the troops has always been performative. He has exposed that flaw because for these national security Republicans that say we have to support the troops, we all knew it was bullshit. Because they fund the bombs, they fund the war, they never fund the soldier. It's always cuts to Veterans Affairs. And he has really exp that they don't care. They go into poor neighborhoods, offer people a future in the military, which is a wonderful thing. But those are the kids that are sent on the front line to fight this war. And let's not kid ourselves. If there are boots on the grand ground, they will be American boots. They will be American soldiers. I seriously doubt Israel will put boots on the ground in Iran.

You know, I saw this clip and my first thought was, I want my president to be afraid. I want him to be afraid of loss of life. I want him or her to be afraid of people going hungry, people not receiving medicine. And so when he says, I'm not afraid, number one, I think he's so afraid, it's ridiculous. But the reality is if you're not afraid for lives to be lost, then you fundamentally missed the whole point. Because saving lives and keeping people healthy should be the number one, number one achievement of any President, in my opinion.
Political Commentator 1
Right. But I think we're so far past that. That's why I kind of chuckled at you and your sweet earnestness. I want my president to care for people. I mean, I do, too, but we're so far past that. Eleven years into this thing like this is. We're so far. He cares about money, his ego, his grievances. That's it. He doesn't care about the United States of America. We know from Trump 1.0. He does not care about soldiers. And from Trump 1.0, the people working around him, neocons, conservatives, military men, came out and said, this man has utter disdain for anybody who served. He thinks they're suckers and losers. And so he has exposed this lie, among many lies that Republicans perpetuate. We're so great with the economy. We're white businessmen. Ding with a smile. We know how to do the economy. They don't. We support our troops. We love the American flag. It's all. The Republican Party has lied to you for decades, and now it's manifested in Donald Trump. And he has exposed the rot and the hypocrisy because you never wanted a president. None of these people ever wanted a president that cared about people. They wanted a president that allowed them to be racist, that allows them to skirt the tax system, and that would set up rules to exploit the people that they don't care about so that they can live like fat cats. And he has exposed the Republican Party, and this is where the Democrats have momentum to start messaging further lies about. It's not just criticizing Trump at this point. You have to do brand damage to the Republican Party because MAGA will live on. Republican Party has morphed into maga, and we need to do brand damage. Here is a post from Fred Plaitkin. He is a journalist that was allowed to be on the ground in Iran. And so this was a very big deal because in Israel, in Gaza, they weren't allowed to put journalists embedded. But Fred was able to access, and he shares a Washington Post article that says Israel urges Iranians to revolt, but privately assesses that they'll be slaughtered. And you start to see what the MAGA regime and the Israeli regime have in common. They lie to get their own personal needs met. One could argue that the needs of Israel and the needs of Israelis are completely unrelated to and unhelpful to the needs of Americans. And I'm talking about the American taxpayers, the people who don't have loopholes in their tax payments. And so clearly, they're lying to the Iranians here and encouraging Them to go out into the street and do this huge revolt so that they can install a monarchist, by the way, that's their plan, to install a monarchist in Iran. And they know they're going to get slaughtered. But we know from watching the war in Gaza, we know what they're doing in Lebanon, we know that this is not a country that cares about human life in much the same way that Donald Trump could give two shits if we put boots on the ground. And let me just tell you something. Like, my dad fought in the Vietnam War. Thousands and thousands of thousands of Americans fought in the Vietnam War for what? For what? For ptsd, for depression, for a lot of kids, you know, dead. My dad's best friend was shot right next to him. Never talked about it his whole life. I mean, this is serious, serious stuff that he just casually talks about about Israel. Just casually talks about, yeah, we're telling the Iranians to go out and revolt, but, you know, thing is, you're probably going to get slaughtered. I mean, what, what kind of diabolical alliance is this?
Political Commentator 2
Well, it's the dehumanization of people. And I just think of it like a bug. If you have a bug in your house, some people will just step on it and not think a thing about it. And that is how they view people. And it's a means to an end. They don't give a shit about the cost as long as they get the prize. And it is disturbing. And the United States needs to wake up about this because this sending people out to be slaughtered, knowing they'll be slaughtered is so, so diabolical.
Political Commentator 1
And I have to say, like, why, when you look at Israel and the United States, we killed 160 little girls. So if that's not that big of a deal to either of these countries, then, and they're not conducting an investigation as to, oh my God, we just committed a massive war crime. Of course they have no problem telling the Iranians, hey, we're here to save you, but also go out in the streets and get slaughtered. And this type of presentation that's given to the American people via Western media that we cannot criticize. We can criticize the United States in this war, but we can't criticize their partner Israel is insanity. It's utter insanity. Criticizing the government of Israel is the best thing for democracies and for universal human rights. Criticizing the government of the United States of America is the best thing for universal human rights. They are committing war crimes and they need to be called out and here's where we get into the problem with the United States right now. We have diplomats who are morons, real estate guys. One, a total nepo baby, Jared Kushner, whose dad is a convicted felon. And no, I mean, he's atoned or whatever. I don't. We have so many problems. But I'm just kind of giving you the history there. Max Blumenthal here post about some very interesting reporting from the Guardian. Pop this up. The Guardian quotes a UK diplomat involved in Iran talks in Oman. We regarded Witkoff and Kushner as Israeli assets that dragged a president into a war he wants to get out of. UK officials described Wyckoff and Kushner as inept and confirmed they sabotaged a deal that was in the works. So here's kind of the way this timeline is going, guys. People that were privy to it. There was pretty much an agreement in place between the Iranians and the Americans. Jared Kushner and Witkoff always seem to be appearing at a time that sabotages what is in the best interest of, of America. Harm reduction, mitigating wars, etc. They're always right there in the epicenter. This is a very reliable publication with an on the record source from the UK that says that Witkoff and Kushner are Israeli assets. This is not that unbelievable to believe because both of these people are double dealing. They have, they have already said, I'm more interested in lining my personal pockets, that I am interested in safety for the United States of America. And we've seen this both the way they talk and the way they walk, talk and actions. Both of these men have confirmed that. So now we're in this place where we're told, if we say the Israelis and Benjamin Netanyahu, and I'm not talking about the Israeli citizens, I'm talking about the Israeli government dog walked Trump into war, then you could be called an anti Semite. And here's just what I want to say. And if facts are anti Semitic, then I don't know what to do there. Number one, I care about universal human rights and very much care about safety for all people, especially American Jews who are being tug of ward all over the place and told by certain Jewish groups, this is how you have to believe. We demand you believe this way. So the speaker of the House and the Secretary of State both said, both of them said on the record that Israel was going to attack Iran regardless of what the Americans decided to do. And, and they said this right before we almost had an agreement. I mean, right after the War started, but we almost had an agreement and Israel says, screw that, we are going to strike anyway. So the speaker of the House and the Secretary of State of the United States of America said on camera that, well, Israel is going to attack them anyway. And how they're going to respond is to attack American bases. So we have to be in the war. Furthermore, we have on tape 40 years of Benjamin Netanyahu saying he wants to invade Iran. After the invasion, he said his dream has come true. A four decade long dream has come true. So when people are telling you what the facts are, I don't know. I'm not a person that likes to argue facts. I think it's regressive. I think it's what feeds fascism. So we have all of these things going on. I don't think it's that far off at all to think that the Israeli government has assets in Kushner and Witkoff. I mean, these people, Jared Kushner could give two shits about the United States of America. He's double dealing out the wazoo. So then there's this whole thing, on top of all of the propaganda, the facts, and then there's the propaganda, and then there's the emotional blackmail. If you repeat a fact, you're an anti Semite and a bigot. So all of that's listener. You get to acknowledge facts, you get to repeat facts. And most importantly, the true people that care about human rights are the ones that group them all together and say they are universal. We're not going to quantify these, but on top of all this, Benjamin Netanyahu, there's all these rumors online, he's dead, he's putting out AI, blah, blah, blah. So here is another proof of life video of Netanyahu with rapture prepper Mike Huckabee. Pop this up. Minister, I wanted you to know the President asked me to come and make sure you were okay. Yes, Mike, yes, I'm alive.
Commercial Narrator
I checked that and I'm happy to see that.
Political Commentator 1
But he wanted to make sure. Okay, that's enough. All right? Whether or not he's alive or not, Benjamin Netanyahu is a weird ass dude. Like, you're in the middle of the war and you're responding to Internet rumors. And it's not like one video, it's over and over and over again. He keeps rolling out. And then like people are like, hey, Grog, is this AI? And Grog's like, yeah, it's a 95% chance it's AI. So the thing is, nobody now in the Age of AI. Like, that's terrifying that we can't prove things. But this guy, Benjamin Netanyahu, you might remember after Charlie Kurt died, he went on like a media blitz saying, hey, we didn't kill him. And just the actions of this man and his propensity to govern via propaganda is such a red flag to me. Like, this is such a. He is such a fascist, Benjamin Netanyahu. And what's alarming for everybody needs to be the following. Benjamin Netanyahu is incubated something far worse. When they pull really young Israelis, these people are hard. Right. Further right than Benjamin Netanyahu. Donald Trump is incubating something far worse. Look no further than Nick Fuentes. The problem with supporting fascism is all bigotry breeds in it. The problem with not supporting facts is all bigotry is allowed to have oxygen and multiply in that. And so it's difficult for me to take Benjamin Netanyahu or any supporters of Benjamin Netanyahu at their word, that they care about universal human rights when they vote for a man that is a pathological liar who wants to partner with another pathological liar. And they're both maniacal, homicidal killers that aren't scared at all about putting boots on the ground ground, because it's going to affect their life.
Political Commentator 2
You know, when I see Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump and how they act, you know, criminal investigations, corruption, they really are the same person. And the propaganda and the thirstiness of Netanyahu, it cues to me he knows how unpopular what the Israeli government is doing in the United States. And he has to get in here and change the narrative. Donald Trump also steals the narrative, tells people what they want to hear. So I think the, the comparison and the through lines between these two men is fascinating.
Political Commentator 1
Yeah. And I think they both understand very intimately that they have to govern through propaganda and not through facts. Right. Both of them govern through a mass amount of propaganda. And that's all they have going for them. Because the moral universe is not on. Their history is not going to be on their side. These men are not going to be recorded. Well, neither are the supporters of these two men. I mean, this is something 100 years from now, you're going to look back, people go, how did people support these two guys? And they're all going to be on tape. I mean, history books, history classes are now going to see all this on tape. That 40, that clip of Benjamin Netanyahu lying for 40 years about the yellow cake in Iran, it's going to be verifiably a lie. All right. That's all we have. Like, subscribe, comment. We'll be back later with more news.
Episode Title: Trump Threatens US Soldiers with Boots on the Ground, Risking Their Lives for Israel
Hosts: Jennifer Welch & Angie “Pumps” Sullivan
Date: March 18, 2026
Main Theme:
This episode tackles recent comments by Donald Trump concerning potential US military intervention in Iran, examining the risks to American soldiers and broader implications for US foreign policy, particularly as it pertains to support for Israel. The conversation critiques the performative support for troops by Republican leaders, draws sharp parallels between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, and discusses the dehumanizing attitudes driving such policies. The hosts provide a candid, often comedic, progressive critique of current geopolitical events and domestic US politics.
“If there are boots on the ground, they will be American boots. They will be American soldiers. I seriously doubt Israel will put boots on the ground in Iran.”
— Jennifer ([02:10])
“I want my president to be afraid... If you’re not afraid for lives to be lost, then you fundamentally missed the whole point.”
— Angie ([02:25])
“Criticizing the government of Israel is the best thing for democracies and for universal human rights...They are committing war crimes and they need to be called out."
— Jennifer ([08:10])
“Jared Kushner could give two shits about the United States of America. He’s double dealing out the wazoo.”
— Jennifer ([12:36])
“Benjamin Netanyahu is such a fascist...He is incubating something far worse. And Donald Trump is incubating something far worse.”
— Jennifer ([15:16])
“If facts are anti-Semitic, then I don’t know what to do there.”
— Jennifer ([11:45])
Jennifer and Angie approach the topic with a blend of earnest progressive critique and dark humor, employing blunt language, analogy, and anecdote. They maintain a tone of exasperation with the current state of politics but encourage listeners to remain critically engaged with the facts, even in the face of coordinated propaganda and emotional manipulation.
This episode is a fiery takedown of both US and Israeli leadership, focusing on the dangers of unchecked propaganda, the real threat to American soldiers, and the moral cost of dehumanizing policies. The hosts urge listeners to persist in fact-based critique—even when labeled as controversial or “anti-Semitic”—and emphasize the ongoing responsibility to demand better from political leaders of all stripes. The comparisons drawn between Trump and Netanyahu, and the mainstreaming of far-right ideologies, serve as a warning of potential future threats to democracy and universal human rights.
