Foreign. It cannot be overstated how dangerous slash stupid it is that the President of the United States, convicted felon Donald Trump, has been lying to the American public and saying that the Ukraine attacked Russia. This is demonstrably and verifiably and objectively false. Yet he continues to. He continues to do it because he is compromised and owned by Vladimir Putin. Let's listen to Jasmine Crockett.
Jasmine Crockett
Time for us to say, Mr. President, guess what? Russia invaded Ukraine. Can we at least agree on that one? Facts matter, y'all. This is literally potentially putting us into an international crisis. We may be heading towards the next world war because we have a president that wants to pal around with Putin and wants to do everything to make him feel good, including lying about who invaded who. Mr. Chair, I got a minute left, but I really want to yield to any of my colleagues and ask them if they will say today, very basically, that when it came down to the war in Ukraine, that it was not Ukraine that invaded Russia, it was the other way around. Is there anybody in here that has enough courage to say that Russia invaded Ukraine?
Bill Burr
You can have my time.

And this is yet the problem.

Crickets. Crickets from all of these so called MAGA patriots. They would rather worship a man that has failed at every thing he's ever done except for lying and being corrupt and manipulating people at that. He's masterful.
Pumps
Why is it that these Republican leaders have such worship for Donald Trump that they cannot even agree on facts? They cannot support the United States. They have to support a dictator who undoubtedly is being controlled by Elon Musk and absolutely, Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin appear to be in some type of European or world domination alliance. This is unprecedented. This is the Ronald Reagan National Security Republican Party that is completely buying into lies to get away from NATO and support the axis of evil. And it is alarming to say the least.

So let's look back. Here is an article and a headline from 2014, two years before Trump won his first term. Eric Trump in 2014. We have all the funding we need out of Russia. So what was happening is the Trump org was having a lot of financial difficulties because Donald Trump is a terrible money manager. Contrary to what MAGA voters believe, he's awful at it. I mean, awful. They got their funding from Russia and with Trump, all of this shit, that if Barack Obama did it, if Joe Biden did it, if Hillary Clinton did it, if any Democrat did it, they would be impeached so fast it would make your head spin. But when Trump does it, there's this appeasement. There's this capitulation over and over and over again with legacy media, with Democrats, with Republicans, with judges everywhere. This man is compromised by Vladimir Putin. This man instructed the United States of America to vote with the axis of evil at NATO.
Pumps
Why is it that these MAGA voters who have all been pro rah rah national security, are now all in with, I would rather Putin be president than Biden during the election. And now they are. Oh, yeah, Ukraine started the war. What is it? What is the mind twist? Is it simply, okay, let me hear it.

It's Putin started a psychological war campaign via propaganda decades ago. And they went in through the most manipulatable people in America. They went to the National Prayer Breakfast, evangelicals, they went to the nra. They chose which Americans they could easily manipulate. And I've been saying this since way before the election. All of this, the core of this, I believe, is this evangelical movement in America that behaves in the exact same way that the Trump administration does. It's all about for profit. The rules don't apply to them. They have political agendas. They lie to their congregation. The pastors are as corrupt as all get out. And Putin, a former KGB agent, knew the weakest pockets of American citizenry in which he could attack. And then it starts getting momentum and they had him. Trump is already compromised. Right? Right. So Putin ran Trump initially. In my opinion, this is a long, long game. And they attacked the weakest people who have so much hubris. They think they're so moral, but they're not. That's why they cling on to all of these, you know, armchair strong men. And they're, you know, evangelical preachers that are just as corrupt as all get out. These mega churches are wildly corrupt. The NRA w wildly corrupt. Those are the access points in which Putin infiltrated the United States. Then you have troll farms. Then you get Fox News. Then you start paying Tucker Carlson, you start paying Tim Pool, et cetera, et cetera. You start hacking into voting machines and all the stuff, the Mueller report. You can go on and on about how the Russians have infiltrated American culture. They couldn't do it to our side because we study facts. If we see something and we think, huh, that doesn't sound right. We go to a different news source, and we go to a different news source. He attacked the most intellectually lazy people that have a black and white worldview who are incapable of seeing gray, of seeing nuance, and would rather believe a lie than a fact because the lie is Easier. It confirms all of their biases or racism, etc. Moving along, we have represented Tom Swotzi. I don't know how to say his name. Suozi. Maybe it's Italian. Thomas Whootsi. Anyway, here he is talking about the Russian situation.
Thomas Suozzi
Putin is a dictator. Zelensky is not. Zelensky was elected by 73% of the voters in Ukraine, an election that was certified by the European Commission that certifies it was in fact a free and fair election. Very simple point that we need to be reported regularly. Putin is a dictator. Zelensky is not. Putin and the Russians invaded Ukraine, not the other way around. When we talk about appeasement, we're talking about what Neville Chamberlain did with Hitler before World War II. Let's just give him something. Let's give some. Let's try and make peace with, with this guy and he'll stop. He didn't stop the other day. Hexen said, you know, Ukraine can't win this war. They're just not big enough. They can't possibly beat these guys. If we cave now and reward Russia for invading a democratically elected leader's country, who is our ally? If we reward Putin now, what do you think the people in Latvia are going to say? What are the people in Lithuania going to say? What are the people in Estonia gonna say? What are the people in Moldova gonna say? What are the people in Poland gonna say? When I went to Ukraine last April and visited with the commander of the Polish military and saw the map of that era, topographical map that showed the mountains that ringed the area. If he goes through Ukraine, he's going straight into Poland. We cannot reward Putin for his criminal actions where there are murdering people, raping people, kidnapping children. There are tens of thousands of children that have been abducted from Ukraine and brought into Russia. Why? Because if your mom or dad works at the power plant, then we need your Ukrainian parents to keep on working on that plant. And Putin doesn't want you to stop working there. He's going to keep your children even longer, and who knows what else he'll do. He's a beast. He's an animal. He's a dictator. We cannot let this become normalized.

There you have it. That is a master class on the Democratic messaging moving forward. He started with facts. He went into nuance about the topographical area, and then he ended with sharp facts. Vladimir Putin is a dictator. He is a horrible, horrible, sociopathic war criminal. And this government, the. The Donald Trump MAGA government is appeasing exactly the way the British did in World War II, which allowed Hitler to keep advancing all over Europe. Nobody is fucking listening to this shit. And it is serious. Donald Trump is completely compromised. He is a Russian asset. There is no question about it.
Pumps
What I think is so interesting is that it is widely known that Putin is a murderer. He has murdered anyone that stood up against him. They've fallen out windows, their underwear get poisoned. The people in Russia live in a situation of close to poverty, the majority, and they have an oligarchy. And you look at, I mean, just look at the actions of the Trump administration and what he's allowing Elon Musk to do. We are only creating poor people and more of an oligarchy. This is what they want to do. And all of these Americans that are running around saying, oh, yeah, we don't want to pay for Ukraine, blah, blah, blah, take a look at how the Russian people live, the vast majority, because the oligarchy is very small percent, every single other American will suffer. And the fact that now we have Republican leaders, the President of the United States, running around saying Zelinsky is a dictator and Russia started the war. If that is not Russian propaganda, I don't know what is.
Host or Moderator
You're. You're exactly right, Pumps. You're exactly right about the way the situation, the living situation is on the ground in Russia and what they are doing right now to set up a mirroring position where they are knocking out any sort of support system for working class or lower class Americans. And we're heading straight into an oligarchy courtesy of just Jeff Bezos, Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Okay, this next clip I want to play for you guys is of course, comedian Bill Burr. And the guy that posted this, I want to read his comment first. He says it's wild that for all the money Democratic politicians and consultants and pundits have to study communication strategies and messaging, they still can't figure out how to sound like normal people like this. Listen to comedian Bill Burr.

I made fun of the fucking Twitter guy for fucking sieg hiling, not once, but twice. And I never look at my emails. I was scrolling through my emails and it said my Twitter account had been flagged for inappropro. I don't even tweet anymore. It had been flagged for what? A fucking baby. Just like Hitler, a fucking baby. How about the fact that the Twitter guy is. He's not even from here, he's from South Africa. He comes to this country and wants to turn it into a fucking dictatorship. He doesn't feel that we deserve democracy. Can you imagine? Can you just imagine doing that? Going to another country and just deciding, yeah, you know what? I'm going to change this form of government because I've decided, yeah, he doesn't mind living under a dictatorship as long as he's on the good side of it. Fucking laminated face. Because that's another thing. All of these people that are into fucking Hitler, you know what I mean? And like, like, like, look at this guy. Like he was some sort of hero. The guy's one of the biggest fucking cowards ever. All the pain and all the suffering that that guy's caused and the war crimes the, the Allies had to commit, firebombing cities to get that. When it came time for him to pay the price for all the suffering he caused, millions and millions and millions of people. Did he face the music? Nope. He gave himself a nice, quick, painless death. That's your hero. Coward is what he was. Should have faced the music.

Exactly. Cowards. Hitler was a coward. Donald Trump is a coward. Pleads the fifth. Pleads the fifth. Pleags the fifth. This is the most cowardice administration. And typically bullies right underneath are cowards. This is cowardice from the top, from Vladimir Putin to Trump to Musk, all the way down to that little squirmy Moses, Mike Johnson. This is a five alarm fire. And mainstream media is not going to save you. They are bending the knee. Everybody needs to unite and support independent media like ours, like the Midas Touch. IHIP News: Episode Summary – "Wow...Putin Has Trump Right Where He Wants Him"
Released on February 27, 2025
In this compelling episode of IHIP News, hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan delve deep into the intricate web of political manipulation, focusing on the unsettling alliance between former President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Through incisive discussions, expert opinions, and sharp critiques, Welch and Sullivan unpack the dangers posed by this alliance to American democracy and international stability.
The episode opens with a strong condemnation of former President Donald Trump’s allegations against Ukraine, labeling them as false and dangerous. Jennifer Welch sets the tone by asserting:
“It cannot be overstated how dangerous slash stupid it is that the President of the United States, convicted felon Donald Trump, has been lying to the American public and saying that the Ukraine attacked Russia. This is demonstrably and verifiably and objectively false.”
[00:00]
Welch argues that Trump's persistent false narratives are indicative of his compromised state and alleged subservience to Vladimir Putin. She emphasizes the severity of the misinformation being spread under Trump's influence, suggesting it could potentially steer the U.S. towards an international crisis or even a new world war.
Jasmine Crockett takes center stage to dissect the origins and implications of the Russian propaganda machinery. She challenges the narrative that Ukraine initiated the conflict, urging American lawmakers to recognize the reality:
“Time for us to say, Mr. President, guess what? Russia invaded Ukraine. Can we at least agree on that one? Facts matter, y'all.”
[00:37]
Crockett highlights the psychological warfare orchestrated by Putin, detailing how Russian influence infiltrated American institutions such as the National Prayer Breakfast, evangelical groups, and the NRA. She underscores the manipulation of vulnerable segments of American society to promote pro-Russian agendas, ultimately compromising national security.
Angie “Pumps” Sullivan critiques the unwavering loyalty of Republican leaders to Trump, questioning their allegiance to facts over party loyalty:
“Why is it that these Republican leaders have such worship for Donald Trump that they cannot even agree on facts? They cannot support the United States.”
[01:52]
Sullivan draws parallels between the current Republican stance and the appeasement strategies of World War II, expressing alarm at the alignment with entities like Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin. She warns of the unprecedented alliance aiming for European or global domination, emphasizing the betrayal of national interests for personal or political gain.
Welch expands on the methods employed by Putin to sway American public opinion, pointing to the use of troll farms, media manipulation, and strategic payments to influential figures:
“Putin ran Trump initially... He attacked the most intellectually lazy people that have a black and white worldview who are incapable of seeing gray...”
[04:19]
She criticizes mainstream media’s complicity, suggesting that traditional news outlets are bending to pressure instead of upholding journalistic integrity. The hosts advocate for supporting independent media sources to counteract the pervasive influence of Russian propaganda.
The episode features external commentary to bolster its arguments. Thomas Suozzi, an elected official, provides a robust defense of Ukrainian sovereignty and condemns appeasement:
“Putin is a dictator. Zelensky is not. Zelensky was elected by 73% of the voters in Ukraine... We cannot reward Putin for his criminal actions where there are murdering people, raping people, kidnapping children.”
[07:03]
Additionally, a clip of comedian Bill Burr is shared to highlight the absurdity of certain political figures' behavior, drawing a stark comparison between Trump’s administration and historical dictatorships:
“Hitler was a coward. Donald Trump is a coward. Pleads the fifth... This is the most cowardice administration.”
[11:52]
Burr's critique underscores the lack of accountability and moral leadership within the current administration, aligning his humor with the show's critical stance.
In the final segments, Welch and Sullivan reiterate the existential threat posed by the Trump-Putin alliance and the ensuing oligarchic ambitions spearheaded by influential figures like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk:
“We are heading straight into an oligarchy courtesy of just Jeff Bezos, Donald Trump and Elon Musk.”
[10:54]
The hosts issue a rallying call for listeners to support independent media and remain vigilant against the erosion of democratic values:
“Everybody needs to unite and support independent media like ours, like the Midas Touch.”
[13:57]
Key Takeaways:
Trump’s Compromised Position: The episode emphasizes that Donald Trump's false narratives about Ukraine are not mere political maneuvers but symptomatic of a deeper entanglement with Russian interests.
Russian Infiltration: A significant focus is placed on how Russian propaganda has infiltrated various American institutions, exploiting societal fractures to advance its agenda.
Media Critique: Welch and Sullivan are highly critical of mainstream media's failure to challenge these narratives, advocating for a shift towards independent journalism.
External Validation: Inputs from figures like Thomas Suozzi and Bill Burr provide additional perspectives that reinforce the episode’s central themes.
Urgent Call to Action: The episode concludes with a pressing need for collective action to safeguard democratic institutions and resist oligarchic tendencies.
This episode of IHIP News serves as a fervent warning against the manipulation of political narratives by powerful interests, urging listeners to remain informed, critical, and proactive in defending democratic integrity.
