Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. I know many of us are tuning in from all over the world, but the. The sun is just peeking right through my window right now, just glistening all over my tea set. Oh, man, it's beautiful. This morning I woke up and I was like, isn't it cool? Like, isn't it cool how we can shift directions any single day? Isn't it cool that no matter what is happening, no matter what our reality in the moment looks like, no matter how fed up we are with ourselves, because let's be honest, sometimes. Sometimes we get fed up with ourselves. We know we haven't been matching our potential. We know we have been, yeah, maybe being a little bit complacent or, you know, falling into cycles and reliving them out and out and out again. And we know better, and we can do better. And then we get that feeling like we're just disappointed in ourselves. And it's a. It's an icky feeling. You know, We've all been there. I've been there. You know, like when you set out a goal or a plan and you just, like, don't do it, or like when you realize, like, so much time has gone by, but, yeah, you feel like you're still in the same place. That's a heavy feeling. But isn't it cool how in a single day, in a single moment, all of that heaviness can drift away? All of that heaviness can be fueled into our next step? I just think it's so cool how it only takes a single moment to be like, you know what? I'm going to go another way. I'm going to change my way. And we don't have to wait for permission from anybody, because that change can literally start right now. First, it starts in the mind. Right? That's what I love about the mind. Right? The mind is a starting point. Everything starts in the mind. Everything that you look at that was created started in the mind. Nature started in the mind of God. It's beautiful when we're fed up with ourselves, when we're not feeling too fond of ourselves. Where is it? It's in the mind. It's in the mind. But isn't it cool that all of that disappointment could have just been for the story arc? Like, literally. It was just for the story. It was just for this moment when you're finally like, you know what? I'm gonna make a shift. Because you were not lost. You are not lost. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. I mean, we're the type of individuals that believe that we are guided and gifted, don't we? Of course. Even through the seasons where we are lost when we are. You know, I always say, like, you know, around Halloween time, they have those corn mazes that you can, like, walk into and get lost. And why do you go into them? You literally go into them to get lost. You. You actually get upset if it's too easy, right? Or like a house of mirrors. I remember growing up at the amusement park, they had a house of mirrors, and you would run in, and then you'd literally. You literally run head first into the glass, and then, boom, you hit your head. And then what you do, you laugh it off. Then you go another way. And then over the years, they never really switched up the path. It was just the same thing every year. So it got too easy, and then it wasn't fun anymore. Or suppose I get lost in life a little bit. Sometimes you gotta lose yourself just to discover who you truly are. Sometimes you have to lose yourself just to have that moment where you say, I'm not quitting on myself. No, this is not going to be my reality. No, I am fed up on myself. So I'm going to make a shift. I am going to make a change. I am going to make a step. I was all for this story arc. First, we have to forgive ourselves. Forgiveness, you understand? Because shifting isn't about punishment. It's about just honoring where we are and where we've been and where we're about to go and not seeing ourselves through a fragmented lens. You know, often when there's something we don't like about ourselves, isn't that interesting in itself that there could be things we don't like about ourselves? Like, when I was a kid, I can think back to, like, being five, and I don't really have that many memories, but the only memories I really have of a child is me pondering on the universe. That's how I know I was meant to do what I'm doing right now. Because, like, I literally have always just been pondering on the universe. And I remember just thinking, like, who is observing my thought? Like, how can I see my mind? How can I react to my own thoughts? How can I not like a part of myself, not the physical parts, but, like, literally. Maybe it was my. My. My inability in school to, like, finish a project, you know, in a. In a consistent timeline. I used to do this thing, and, you know, I'm still like this a little bit, but I would leave, like, a project A class project, literally till the last night. Teacher would give me a whole month and I would leave it at the last night. And then my mother and my stepfather, they would come in and save the day and help me stay up all night till 4am I would hand my project in and teacher would be like, yo, this is amazing. And I'm like, thank you. I just took all the credit. But I didn't like that part of myself. And I used to think, who is it that is observing myself? And that's when I realized that we had a soul, you know, that we had a spirit. And that we have this amazing ability to be aware of ourselves. And unfortunately, sometimes we will focus and see our whole self through part of ourself. Like let's say you struggle with confidence. Now that's all that you focus on and you just see yourself as a non confident person. And now your whole view of yourself is fragmented and you forgot about your resilience, you forgot about your compassion, you forgot about the beauty you have and how like you're truly, you know, you make others laugh and you know, you show up for others and all these. There's so many beautiful things about yourself, but for some reason you become fixated on this one part. That yes, does need a little bit of work. But we can't forget about our whole selves. And that's all we have to forgive ourselves for the way we have been looking at ourselves lately. Some of us have written ourselves off, just wrote ourselves off like we are not worthy, like we are not enough. No, there's just things you have to work on. Yes, maybe you've fallen short in certain areas, but there's other areas where, man, you've been really beautiful and there's other areas that should be celebrated and there's actually just things about you, things about you that others wish they have attained. You know, like if anyone's ever, you know, broken a leg or an ankle or something, you know, I've sprained my ankles, I've broken my hand. When I broke my hand, I did not say I am broken, I said my hand is broken. When I sprained my ankle, I did not say I am broken, I said I have a sprained ankle. So why do we, when a part of ourselves is a little bit fragmented, why do we refer ourself, our whole self to our fragmented self? Oh, you've been struggling with consistency, but you see your, your whole self not as worthy anymore. No. Ah, your consistency has just been bruised, but it's healing. It's healing because we are forgiving. We are accepting. And we know that we can make a shift, that right now, in this moment, we can literally make. Make a shift. We have forgiven ourselves. It is in the past. We have felt the pain of that regret. So we will never repeat those mistakes again. And even if we do, we're going to forgive ourselves, right? And then we get to choose. We get to choose again. And we can move fresh and we can redirect the thing. The thing that I think is cool is no matter how much of a slump you have been in, you know, that slump is heavy. It could have been months, let's be honest. Could have been a year, could have been two years. But if you want to stop a negative cycle, it literally stops right away. Stops in the mind. Boom, I've had enough. And then it stops as soon as you take that first step. And all we do is focus on that first step, and then we create momentum. The truth is, some of us, we have. We may have created momentum, but in the wrong direction, right? Going backwards, it's like. It's like if you're riding your bike up a hill. Actually, I grew up in this place called Burnaby Mountain, and it's full of hills and forests, and it was really like the first place that felt like home to me. So I'm very used to just riding my bike up big, big hills. You know what happens when you ride your bike up a hill? If you stop pedaling, you literally gonna roll backwards unless you put your feet on the ground. And some of us, our feet have been on the ground, and we're just idle, looking at everything we have to do, procrastinating. But some of us, we've actually lifted our feet off the ground and we have been rolling backwards. We've created momentum in the wrong direction, but literally, to stop ourselves from falling any further, all we have to do is put our feet on the ground and make one stride forward, and boom, that negative cycle is over now. Yes. The first few strides, it's gonna be difficult. We had to. We're at the bottom of the hill, we have to get back up. But it doesn't matter. We're already moving in another direction. That's what I love. That's what I think is so cool, that no matter. No matter how heavy the season or the moment has been for you, that if you want to make a change, you can make a change with one step. And that's all you focus on, is that one step. All you have to do in life is one thing that's it? Because you only can do one thing at a time. Every little decision is like a ripple, a ripple in the wave of transformation that we are creating. Small actions today create transformation tomorrow. But small actions in the moment create transformations within our spirit. Isn't it cool? Isn't it cool that you have that power to just make a change? It doesn't matter if you're 20 or if you're 55. The door to change open stays the same. It's on us. It's in our choosing. We get to choose right when we're down and out, what are we doing, man? We're staying hopeful. We're staying hopeful that better days are to come. And when we're riding a high, what are we doing? We're staying humble because we know there will be a time where we're not so high up. Expect the changes in life right when it's a good day, what are we doing? We're having gratitude. We're celebrating the winds. We're sipping our tea as we should. And when it's a bad day, what are we doing? Hey, we have gratitude because a good day is right around the corner. Isn't it cool? Isn't it cool that in your choosing, you get to reaffirm to yourself every single day? That you are creating a life for yourself, one that you love and you are loving it while you live it? That when you set forth in a new direction, create a new cycle, and every day you wake up and then you think about all the things you have to do. No, no, no. You rearrange that narrative in your mind and you're like, today, I get to choose. I get to choose me. I get to choose a life that I want to live. I am building it. This is beautiful. Isn't it cool? Isn't it cool that I get to choose me today? No matter how hard it is, no matter how much resistance there may be, isn't it cool that today we get to choose ourselves? That we get to rise up and we get to live up, that we get to love ourselves, not just focus on a fragmented part of ourselves, but see it as an opportunity? You know, it's important that we just giggle. Just giggle a little bit. You know, just chuckle. Just laugh and giggle at our mistakes. Yeah. But learn. Learn through our lows. Yeah. And celebrate our wins. Yeah. Remember your whole self. Never lose sight of the parts of yourselves that you love because you need that reminder, you know, our ability to focus on what we don't like. It's good. It's good. That we have awareness. It's good that we know what we have to work on. Right? That shows that you care about your potential. That shows about you love progression and growing and you know, moving forward and building a life. But let's not forget about the beauty and being as well. That you are not lost. That you are exactly where you're supposed to be. That whatever we are going through, we know that we are growing through it. Don't you? You know that? Isn't it cool? Isn't it cool how today day we get to make a change? You know, I was talking to somebody and they brought up something like negative of my past. And I'm like, oh, you still think about that? I feel sorry for you. And they're like, no, no. Like how are you feeling? I'm like, I've grown, I've transformed. That's. That's way gone in the past. Why? Why are you consumed about the negatives of the past? I'm. I'm right here. I'm right now. I'm moving forward. I made a change. I made a change for myself and I'm loving my life while I live it. And we are happy while not happy when because we are co creators on this planet. Co creators with the most high. Isn't it beautiful? Yeah. You know, isn't it cool? Yeah. Today you get to choose. Today you get to choose. And you done know in hindsight everything is going to be more than our eyes.

Theme: Reflection on Self-Forgiveness, Inner Change, and Embracing Wholeness
In this solo reflection, HINDZ explores the concept of seeing ourselves through a "fragmented view"—focusing on our perceived shortcomings while overlooking our wholeness.
