Power by righteous media. Okay, everybody, the worst case scenario is finally starting to unfold. It's Paul Rykoff. I'm coming to you live from New York City, usa. I, I'm actually inside a flash studio at MSNBC to give you a look. This is what it looks like because I am going back on msnbc. Was on News Nation earlier, maybe CNN later because the number one story in America is this terrible, tragic, preventable shooting in Minneapolis. A 37 year old American citizen, a woman, a civilian, has been shot and killed by ice. And I want to give you my quick reactions. This will be a quick reaction podcast special episode of Independent Americans. I'm going to try to get you these as fast I can because I think you need to stay ahead of what's happening. And I want to talk about not just what's happening now, but what's happening next. And here's the bottom line. Everybody saw this coming. We're lucky it hasn't happened sooner. ICE agents have been deployed all around the country and they are too aggressive, they are too unaccountable, they are too undisciplined and they are too everywhere. They are absolutely everywhere. And especially as a former military officer myself, the thing that's always concerned me is their lack of accountability, the inability to identify them clear and their lack of good order and discipline. You can see the way they push people around, the way they move their bodies, the way they handle their weapons. It is not the standard of most of our law enforcement and military. I think if anything, that ICE is giving our law enforcement in this country a very bad name. And today is the worst example. We're gonna dissect the shooting over the next couple of hours and couple of days. But here's what we know. A 37 year old American citizen, a civilian, is dead, shot in what might have been in front of her own house by at least one ICE agent. Looks like three shots were fired. And it's very difficult to put yourself in the shoes of a law enforcement agent. I've been there as a military police soldier myself. I've been there as an infantry officer on countless checkpoints all across Iraq. And the pressure is tremendous. But Minneapolis is not Baghdad and they have a duty to exercise tremendous restraint and only use force and lethal force as an absolute last resort. And from what I can see, that officer was not using force as a last resort. If he really thought that vehicle was gonna run him over, he could have rolled out of the way. But Instead he put three inside the cabin of that car and killed a 37 year old woman whose identity I'm sure we'll find out in the next couple of hours and minutes. We probably won't find out the identity of the agent, but we should. Here's another consideration. There is no body cam footage that I can see from any ICE agents. Why aren't ICE agents wearing body cams? They should be wearing body cams so we can immediately have a full investigation of what happened. And that's what the President should be calling for right now. He should be saying, this is a tragic incident, we want to lower the temperature, and we need an immediate and comprehensive independent investigation. Instead, he's doing what he always does. He's dialing it up. He's calling these people belligerent, he's calling them domestic terrorists. He's making it worse. And this is on him as the commander in chief. He is ultimately responsible for these deployments of ICE agents that are making things more radioactive, more heated and more dangerous. And that's what I want to underscore. America is less safe today because we have ICE agents shooting civilians in the streets. And we're lucky it hasn't happened sooner. And the reaction from the protesters, I'm sure, will be swift. I'm here in New York City. Just outside these doors is Times Square. And I know one thing, protests usually start later in the day because a lot of students are involved and they're in school. So I would expect protests to start within hours in major cities across America, if not definitely this weekend. And this is a boiling point that is boiling over. It's now a tipping point. And if anybody's celebrating today, it's Vladimir Putin, it's North Korea, it's our enemies who want to see Americans fighting in the streets. And maybe some might argue this is what Trump wanted, that he wanted to instigate a fight in a place like Minneapolis. There are 1,000 ICE agents in Minneapolis. And what are they there for? What are they doing right now? The biggest outcome of their presence is one dead American civilian. And there must be accountability, there must be vigilance. I'm going to go on with Nicole Wallace in a couple of minutes. I might go on other shows later and I'll dig deeper in upcoming episodes of Independent Americans. But this is a very, very important, important tipping point for America. And I'm going to urge something that is going to be difficult. Take a big, deep breath. All of us in this country, especially in moments like this, you need to do what they say in the Marine Corps. Stay frosty, try to keep Your emotions in check. I know you're angry. If you're not angry, you're not paying attention. But we've also got to stay cool. We've got to stay frosty. We've got to stay thoughtful. We've got to look out for the other people around us. Don't respond to violence with violence. This is a heartbreaking, infuriating, outrageous moment coming on the backs of the illegal, unauthorized invasion of Venezuela. And it's all coming together in a maelstrom of dangerousness, of toxicity, of radioactivity. And in many ways, the last couple of weeks is like Osama bin Laden's dream. He could have never imagined that an American public would be fighting with its own agents, that a sitting President would be attacking a member of the Armed Services Committee, that our Secretary of Defense would be trying to bring a former astronaut and veteran onto active duty to be court martialed. America is at war with itself. And today especially, we have to stand up for American values and the rule of law and accountability. And long before this happened, people should have been more outraged about unidentified, unaccountable, undisciplined ICE agents being deployed in American streets and arresting immigrants, migrants and U.S. civilians. U.S. citizens. This is a very, very dark day in America. But even in this moment, we have to look for the helpers, look for the light, and look out for each other. I'm gonna continue to bring you analys on independent Americans. If you're not already following us on YouTube, please check us out there. I'm gonna bring you an important conversation tomorrow with Tim Mack from inside Ukraine. He's gonna talk about another cauldron that needs our attention. But today, as this news continues to unfold, I'll continue to send you updates, analysis and try to bring you guests who can bring light to contrast the heat. And as we go into the evening of what is another historic day, the day after January 6th, let's do our best to bring that light to contrast to heat and to try to stay frosty and bring the temperature down. I'll come at you with more updates in the days to come, and I'll be on TV in just a couple minutes. But look out for each other, look for the helpers. And most of all, right now at moments like this, Stay vigilant, America. Power by righteous media.
