In this all–new “quick response pod,” Paul checks in from a cold New York City and connects the chill in the air to the brutally cold reality on the ground in Ukraine after a new wave of Russian attacks on civilians and infrastructure. On his birthday, he reflects on sacrifice, leadership, and the inspiration he draws from people fighting for freedom in Ukraine, Iran, across America, and around the world—and calls on listeners to speak out, push back, and look out for each other.

Powered by Righteous Media. Hello from New York City, usa, on a cold day in New York. Statue of Liberty is out there. Freedom Tower is out there. It's cold here, but it is much colder in Ukraine right now, where last night a new wave of vicious attacks hit across the country, pounding civilian areas, hitting infrastructure, and Putin continues to try to shut the lights out. It is very, very cold in Ukraine right now, but people's hearts are still full of fire and they continue to fight back. And that's what I'm asking you to do wherever you are today. It's actually my birthday today. Crazy that I'm 30. I can't believe I'm already 30. But on my birthday, I am reminded of the sacrifices of so many who came before me, the leadership of so many who are out in front right now, and the pain that so many are experiencing not just in Ukraine, but here in America and across the world. I'm also reminded by the inspiration of the people of Ukraine, the people of Iran, the people in so many other places, including this country, that are fighting back, that are speaking out and are pushing back for what's right. So continue to do that, especially now, and look out for each other. Because it might be cold where you are, but it's colder somewhere else and you can make it a little bit warmer. If you haven't checked out my new episode yesterday on independent Americans, I talked to Tim Mak, the incredible counteroffensive reporter from inside Ukraine. He reports from Kyiv and talks about how the innovation is accelerating at a very, very high level, especially around military operations and technology. And today, later today, for my birthday, I got a special treat for you. And for me, the great Ron Perlman is back on Independent American star of Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy. He's Optimus Primal in the Transformers movie. He's Beast. He's been so many things, but he's a great patriot, he's good friend, he's a fantastic conversation and he always brings the fire. So that's my birthday present to you, America and the world. Rod Perlman. Coming up later, Tim Mack and also some other news. Independent Americans hit number 36 yesterday on the Apple Podcast News podcast. We hit the top 36, which is huge. Much appreciated. Thank you for all the support. Thank you. The vigilant, the very vigilant, the most vigilant, all of you who've been supporting this movement and this show since we started years ago. It's just getting started because people want to know the information. They want to know truth, they want to see integrity and they feel the need for independence because we got to stick together, especially when it's cold. We can bring the fire and we can bring the light to contrast the heat coming from Putin, coming from Trump and from so many others that want to shut us up and shut us down. We're not going to let them. So stick together. Look out for each other. Happy my birthday, Slava, Ukraine. And stay vigilant, America. Stay vigilant. Yes. Powered by Righteous Media.
