(QCi), an integrated photonics and quantum optics company, has successfully closed an oversubscribed private placement, raising $750 million, according to a press release carried by Quantum Insider. The company will use the proceeds to commercialise its technology, fund strategic acquisitions, expand production, and for other corporate purposes.

55 North launches world's largest dedicated quantum fund

55 North, a new Copenhagen-based venture capital firm, has announced the first close of its inaugural quantum technology fund, raising €134 million. The fund, which aims for a total of €300 million, is backed by Novo Holdings and EIFO.

Owlstone Medical receives up to $49.1 million for at-home cancer tests

The round was led by IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from Speciale Invest, IvyCap Ventures, and Navam Capital. The funds will be used to build and test the company's first chip, expand its team, and begin pilot projects with data center customers.
