TikTok is going crazy over a voice memo posted to the social media site, purportedly sent from a man ahead of a planned second date with a woman he just met. T.J. questions the validity of the voice memo, but regardless of its validity, it’s sparked an interesting debate online. While having someone disclose their sexual intentions in advance is generally regarded as a good thing, it was presented as an ultimatum rather than a conversation, and that’s been the big issue. Was he manipulative and disrespectful, or was he just replaying a refreshing directness we’re not used to hearing in the dating world. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We wrote a recent article on Yahoo about how much we share as a couple, and what we keep separate. As we discussed our philosophy that sharing should come from a place of confidence, not surveillance, there is a constant debate among couples on how much is too much. From locations to passwords, bank accounts to social media, hell even beauty products, what does it all say about the state of your relationship?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The President spent roughly an hour on the dais, finally giving that much anticipated speech to the very group he spars with daily, the members of the White House correspondents association. Even though he said last night’s speech wasn’t as much of a “doozy” as his original speech he planned to give back in April, he still delivered cutting, offensive remarks aimed at some of his familiar foes. The president went after at least one member of this cabinet and made a few, rare self deprecating jokes that landed. But the tension in the room was real, with many of his biting, insensitive comments putting members of the audience in an awkward position. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A Baltimore mom came home from a 12 hour work shift to find her 15-year-old daughter shot and killed in her own bed, and her 9-year-old son shot and killed in the hallway. It took a few weeks, but police now say they have their killer in custody: a 16-year-old boy who had apparently only recently begun to talk with her daughter. We go over the mountain of evidence that led police to the teen and a warning from the police chief for every parent. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

After months of dancing around the subject, the Trump administration has officially submitted a proposal to the Senate to change the name of New York’s storied train station, Penn Station. Notably, the request was slipped in the middle of a request for additional funding to rebuild and transform the station into a “world class” facility, and there was no specification as to what the new name would be, however, several recent responses from administration officials leaves little doubt. The push back and reaction has already begun, one New York politician calling it “a hostile takeover of Penn Station.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Prosecutors called two more criminalists and the medical examiner to the stand in Day 3 of the preliminary hearing for singer D4vd, charged with the first degree murder and dismemberment of his underaged girlfriend, Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Before testimony even began, things got testy as a reporter and a private investigator were removed from the courtroom, while the prosecutor was heard threatening another attorney. The judge heard about a strange discovery in D4vd’s home: jugs and trays of fake blood, as investigators continued to testify to the actual blood found with a “strong DNA match” to Rivas Hernandez. The most chilling testimony will continue on Friday as the medical examiner returns to the stand after describing the condition of Celeste’s remains.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
