READ > https://inverted-audio.com/premiere-alex-albrecht-too-much-traffic After two years and four releases, Pintai announce their first LP release, a nine track 2x12” boasting contributions from some of the most prolific producers with that penchant for all things deep. Our focus track, Too Much Traffic, comes via Australian producer Alex Albrecht, combining intricately bubbling synths, dubby chord stabs and sharp hats into a dreamy, slow motion turner of a house track.

Read: https://inverted-audio.com/premiere-1168pm-make-me Hot on the heels of his first release on his very own Craft Services, 11:68PM returns with a five track EP that, rather than representing a progression from CS001, demonstrates the tools and influences from which the preceding EP was developed. A little more stripped back and raw, CS002 is a collection of functional sounds for blending on the dancefloor, but with enough attention to detail for them to stand on their own two feet - especially on a soundsystem that boasts a little heft.

Axel Hjo and Anton Johansson craft a sprawling, immersive piece — acid synths, writhing basslines and brooding clarinet tones evoking a psychedelic Scandi Cobblestone Jazz.

The remix trades the original's trippy textures for a moodier, warmer tone — humid pads, skittering hats, and subtle bass stabs building into a satisfying small-hours listen.

READ > https://inverted-audio.com/premiere-nathan-fake-hypercube-mac-seldom-remix Nathan Fake's Hypercube — a standout from his InFiné album Evaporator — gets the remix treatment from Basile3, Tukan, Fake himself, and Mac Seldom. It's Mac Seldom's version that commands attention, dragging the track from rave-tinged airiness into something altogether grimier: distorted low-end, snapping electro drums and fried analogue textures, with fragments of the original synth-work flickering through like sparking loose wire. A purpose-built weapon for deep-set moments when the floor needs reclaiming.

READ > https://inverted-audio.com/premiere-auscultation-precarious Joel Shanahan - a DIY veteran and longtime fixture on Not Not Fun and 100% Silk - returns with IV, the long-awaited new LP under his Auscultation alias, arriving six years after its predecessor. Premiering here is closing track "Precarious": a ruminative, unhurried piece built on a droned-out guitar sample, low-slung bassline and buoyant synths — ending the album on a pensive note, with just a sliver of light breaking through.

INTERVIEW + TRACKLIST > https://inverted-audio.com/mix/ulf-eriksson Malmö DJ and Kontra-Musik label head Ulf Eriksson sits down with us alongside longtime collaborator Andreas Tilliander — known to most as TM404 — to talk through their first joint release, Ulf Och Andreas - EP 1. It's a record ten years in the making: minimal, raw house and techno that bears the marks of their ongoing creative tension — Eriksson pushing for restraint, Tilliander reaching for layers. The conversation is candid, often funny, and revealing about how both artists work. Eriksson also recorded an IA Mix to accompany the release, moving from PST's warm house through Omar-S and Eletun Selona to the duo's own material.

Premiering here is aza's contribution to the record: a 145 bpm dancefloor weapon built on a freely grooving bassline, warm chord stabs and chopped vocals.

REVIEW > https://inverted-audio.com/review/lord-of-the-isles-venus-flux/ Lord Of The Isles makes his debut on Far Blue - marking the label's third ever physical release. Venus Flux is a four-track EP that moves deftly between beatless psychedelia, old-school dub house and ice-cold dub techno, before closing on the weightless, breakbeat-driven sound that has defined his reputation. Hypnotic, emotionally charged and masterfully produced throughout - essential listening.

INTERVIEW + TRACKLIST > https://inverted-audio.com/mix/hoavi For our 400th mix, we wanted something that felt genuinely singular. Kirill Vasin, aka Hoavi, delivers exactly that — a mix composed entirely of music made by him and his students. Hoavi is a teacher of music composition, and the philosophy that underpins his work bleeds into everything he touches. His recent album Architectonics on Peak Oil draws on the interlocking rhythmic traditions of gamelan, approaching form and timbre with the rigour of a composer and the intuition of a producer. That same spirit of communal practice is at the heart of IA MIX 400. Read our interview with Hoavi and listen to one of the most considered mixes in this series' history.
