The UN Green Climate Fund is the world's largest climate fund and was created to support the efforts of developing countries in responding to the challenge of climate change. Becoming a delivery partner at the GCF is challenging on several levels, and particularly difficult for some private sector entities. Camco Clean Energy, a climate and impact fund manager leading the clean energy transition in emerging markets, became an Accredited Entity to the GCF at the end of 2020. Karl Upston-Hooper, General Council at Camco Clean Energy, and I explore Camco's journey on becoming a delivery partner at the GCF.
