It was an absolute pleasure having Amanda in the studio, joined by her fiancé and returning guest, TJ Petruzzelli.This episode was a long-overdue catch-up, and honestly, a bit kismet—having Amanda back in “the cellar” (our recording cave), a place that holds a lot of meaning from our childhood. Amanda and I were close growing up, attending both Holy Family School and later Cardinal Spellman High School together. I’ve always known her to be incredibly musically talented with an amazing voice, so it’s no surprise that she and Jackie clicked so naturally and formed J & A Acoustic, showcasing that talent together.We also dive into Amanda’s career as a social worker highlighting her journey from where she started to where she is now. It’s a profession that’s often misunderstood or overlooked, especially when people focus on the financial side, but Amanda gives a real and meaningful look into the impact of the work.On a personal note, Amanda is one of the kindest people I know, which makes perfect sense if you know her parents, Leanne and Chuck two of the most genuinely caring people out there. And it’s been awesome to see TJ become part of that family. He’s a great guy and incredible with her two boys I couldn’t be happier for them both.Of course, we go off track a bit taking a trip down memory lane with plenty of school stories.
