There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad you're with us today for Jesus the healer. And we have been enjoying ourselves so much in this series. Oh, the Word is so good. Not only that, it gives us the best life when we do it. How many of you know? It's the doer that's blessed? We have to hear it so we can know what to do. But hearing is not the end of it. Hearing is not the completion of it. We're hearing for one reason, so we can better do what we hear. We have been teaching on in Christ. And the reason that we're making this such a emphasis is because that's the foundation through which every other thing is built in our life. It's who we are in Christ that matters. And we're to live as one in Christ because we are new creatures in Christ. Outside of Christ, we just live like an old creature. But in Christ, we're to live a brand new life. Aren't you grateful that you got a brand new start when you got born again? Now, since we got a brand new start, we should live different. We should think different. We should speak different. We should respond differently than before we were born again. We should not get saved and our lives look like they did before we were saved. That's not the flow. That's not what God authored for us. And that's not being skillful in this new life. Because everything about the new life is to give us a brand new start in every way, in every arena of life. Well, Pastor Nancy, how do we do that? Well, you have to find out what the Word says about you because now you belong to him and he belongs to us. Isn't that amazing? And the good thing, the wonderful thing of it, it was all his plan, his idea that that be the case. Amen. So we have been using in this Series I'm referring to often a testimony of Brother Kenneth Copeland, because it's such. It so depicts something for us. He was talking about how in the early 1970s, he was just learning the truths of prosperity. He was. Him and his wife were in debt, but they were learning to believe God to get out of debt. And in the early years of their ministry, God gave a command to him, and he said, I want you to sow $50,000 into Kenneth Hagin's ministry. Now, $50,000 is a lot of money today, but 50 years ago, my goodness, it was significant. And how many times the mind would go on tilt when it hears God command us something, what we would call large to do. And really what God said to him was impossible for Brother Copeland to fulfill. In his own resources, he didn't have that amount of money. But when God gave him that command, he did not go to himself before he answered. He went first to who he was in Christ. And this is the answer, the skill of the answer that Brother Copeland gave. He said, in Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it. That's so insightful. That is talking and living and thinking based on who we are in Christ. And I so love this, this testimony that Brother Copeland gave because it opened up so clearly an understanding I saw in a moment, ah, outside of Christ, he didn't have that money to give, but in Christ, he had the money to give. Outside of Christ, that sounds like it's impossible, but in Christ, that's all possible. So I saw in a nutshell. I saw so quickly, so clearly. Everything that God has planned for our life outside of him cannot be fulfilled. But in Christ, all is fulfilled. Why? Because God gave a plan for our life. He authored a plan, and he gave it to us, his plan, because he intends to do the work through us. Amen. We're not carrying out the plan of God apart from Him. That's impossible. The plan of God is impossible to man. It requires God's ability. It requires God being the source of that, of that working. Jesus made this statement in his earthly ministry. My Father in me, he does the works. Right there. Jesus confessed it. Jesus said it because he was depicting how he moved, how he thought and how he operated. He was putting God to work through him. That's the skill of living in Christ. We realize God is in me because he's the one that wants to do the work through me. The more I respond to him, the more I know and recognize and give attention to this truth that he is in me. Then I will draw on him to work through me. God only needs a vessel because he already has all the power and the ability. He supplies the power, he supplies the ability. He supplies the strength. He supplies the joy and says, now let me flow through you, and then I'll turn around and reward you for letting me do the work. What a deal. What a deal. So we have been taking a lot of time in these past episodes to talk about what it means to be in Christ. Of course, we're not going to ever exhaust this subject, But I will say this. If you will renew your mind to who you are in Christ, you will come into the highest order of faith. If you will renew your mind to who you are in Christ, condemnation is done in your life. If I could say this struggle is over in your life because you're letting him work through you. We're to become so skillful at acknowledging him and drawing on him and letting him do the work through us. Don't wait till a crisis shows up to learn it. Do it every single day when you get up in the morning, and as you're getting ready in the morning, say, father, you're my strength today. You're my ability. And turn your attention toward him. You will never draw on him without having your attention on Him. If we're mindless about him being in us, we'll never draw on him as we ought. So to live as one in Christ, to yield to him that's in Christ, it demands that we be mindful of him, acknowledging him. Talk about, he's in me. He'll put me over. He's the one that is doing the work through me. And you say, well, Pastor Nancy, I'm struggling with bringing myself into agreement with God because I want to do this, but I know God's dealing with me about that. Well, the Word says that it's him at work within you, both to will and to do of his good pleasure. What's he doing? He's the one that's showing you how rich his plan is so that you will want to choose his plan. He won't force you to ever choose his plan, but he can sure show you how rich his plan is. So that you say, I'm done with my plan. His plan holds all the goodness. Amen. And so he continues to work with us. And aren't you thankful? He only worked with creation, creating six days. Then he rested the seventh day. He only did that for six days, but he works every day with us. The goodness of God that He walked off and left creation. He was done creating at the end of six days, but he's still working with us. The patience of God, the goodness of God. You know, if there's anything that I'm so grateful for, I say, God, thank you for being patient with me. Oh my goodness. I should have done better long time ago. I should have made more progress long time ago. But I thank you for being patient with me and not leaving me to my own devices. In fact, he filled us with himself so that we could have another place to be occupied with. Have you ever noticed if you're occupied with you, you sink low, you get occupied with him and it elevates everything. Amen. Well, in the past episodes, we've gone through just some different verses that show us who we are in Him. I want to remind you we've talked about it on the previous episodes, but I want you to go to our website@jesusthehealer.org and for free you can download a booklet that just has a sampling of some of the verses, the scriptures that we would call in Him Scriptures. It just shows what belongs to you because you belong to Him. You have to renew your mind, find out these things, and you have to establish these things in your spirit. Meditate on them, speak them. Why? Because when you meditate on it, you build it in yourself. And that's when you're going to turn toward them in the face of opposition instead of turning back to your flesh and your own ability. Then we have a complete listing of what we would call the in Him Scriptures in another document. You can download these for free, you can print them off, and then what are you going to do with them? Just download them? No, you're going to feed on them, read on them and speak it to yourself. And then you're going to draw on that which you put in you on a daily basis. Amen. So we've been looking at a few of the verses throughout these episodes that show us who we are in Him. How about we pick up where we left off in a previous episode, not the last one, but the one before this one we were reading out of. Philippians chapter 4, verses 6 and 7. And this is the Amplified Classic translation. It shows us such a wonderful thing that belongs to us because we're in Christ. Listen to this. Philippians 4, verse 6. The Amplified Classic translation says, do not fret or have any anxiety about anything. Aren't you so glad to know that in Christ, no worry, in Christ, no fear. And can I tell you, this worry is nothing but the outflow of fear to Worry is to accuse God of not being enough. Well, you say, well, Pastor Nancy, I'm not trying to accuse God. No, none of us are trying to accuse God. But ultimately, if we worry, we're basically saying the one who's in us is not enough to accomplish it. How do we know if we're worrying, if we're thinking about it? Look at that. That so quickly nails our thought life to the wall, doesn't it? Well, Pastor Nancy, I'm not worried. I'm just concerned. Yeah, that's what I said, worried. Being overly concerned, trying to make things happen on your own is an act of worry. Now, we do have a part to play in every miracle, in every answer. God's going to involve us. But we cannot bypass him and try to take it in our own hands apart from Him. So he says, do not fret. Don't worry about anything. I would think that people would be so glad to know that they are dismissed from the sin of worry for the rest of their life. Now, does the temptation of worry come? Sure it does. But we reject, we resist that temptation. Why? Because in Christ there's no worry. Why? Because the Greater One is for us. He's not against us, and we're putting him to work for us. So here again In Philippians, chapter 4, verse 6, do not fret or have any anxiety about anything. Not just not worrying about what the devil's doing, but not even worrying where you've messed up. Because if you won't worry, you leave the door open for God to help. When we worry, we close the door to the power of God. And God's help cannot be received through a closed door. Then it goes on and it says, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, definite requests, with thanksgiving. Continue to make your wants known to God, and God's peace shall be yours. How do we know that if we're worrying, if we're not peaceful? Worry robs us of our peace. But verse 7 says this, and God's peace shall be yours. That tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ. Notice not help or salvation through you, but through him who's working in you, and so fearing nothing from God. How many people are afraid of God? They think God's mad at them. God is not mad at you, it says, fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot and whatever sort that is. Now, don't misunderstand that phrase. If there's lack in your life, he's not telling you, be content with that. If there's symptoms in your body. He's not telling you to be content with that. He's saying, don't be unsettled. Don't be troubled by by any situation you're faced with. Amen. Be undisturbed. And then it says this. But that peace which transcends all understanding will garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen. Another translation, Philippians 4, 6, 7, says, do not worry about anything. Talk to God about everything. Ah, isn't that interesting that God has to tell us talk to Him. Why? Because our habit is to go talk to ourself or talk to someone else and they are not the source of all help. He is. We have to break the bad habit of leaning on others when we need divine help. So do not worry about anything. Talk to God about everything. Thank him for what you have and ask him for what you need. Notice this. It says, before you even talk to him about what you need, be thankful for what he's already given you. You can't complain about what you have and then ask for more. Be thankful for what you have. And then when you bring your request to him, you're in the position and the attitude of thankfulness and God's power can be received in that attitude. Verse 7 says, Then God will give a peace which is too wonderful to understand. That peace will keep your hearts and minds safe as you trust in Christ Jesus. I don't know about you, but I'm so glad to know I don't have to fix me again, right? I have divine help. Listen to this one. You know this verse? Philippians, chapter 4, verse 13. It says, I can do all things. Look at this. Through Christ which strengtheneth me. Another translation says, I am strong for all things in the one who empowers me, Christ. So notice this. It's not you doing it. It's his ability flowing through you. So what's this mean? No credit for you?
A
That's right.
B
All the credit goes to Him. The Amplified translation said, I can do all things which he has called me to do. Now notice this. Don't put your hand to what he didn't call you to do. He cannot help you do what he didn't tell you to do. Now he'll bless you as far as he can, but if he didn't author something, he can't help you the same way as that which he authored. So it says, I can do all things which he has called me to do through him who strengthens and empowers me to fulfill his purpose. I am self sufficient in Christ's sufficiency. So what's he saying? Self gets empowered when self is drawing on Christ, not on me. Right. And then it goes on and says, I am ready for anything and equal to anything through him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace. Now notice this. These are things we have to build in us and establish in us so that we don't go back to the old ways of operating. Another translation says this, I am able to do all things through the help of Christ. What's this mean? He's my helper. Right. Another translation says, christ gives me strength to face anything. What's this mean? I'm not being pushed around by anything. Another translation said, there is nothing I cannot master with the help of the One who gives me strength. Notice this, when he gets involved, he turns you into master, not into victim. Leave the victim mentality under the under the blood of Jesus. God wants to turn you into master. What's that mean? Not mastering people, but in the face of opposition. Nothing masters you, you conquer it. Amen. Then we know this verse. This is such a full one for us. Philippians 4, verse 19. This verse is speaking to people who are givers, right? It says, but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now when Paul wrote this, he was thanking the people for having supported him financially. When we obey God with our finances, we open the door for him to move in our finances in a way we never could supply. But you cannot claim this verse if you're not a giver. Now can I tell you this? You are a giver, but you have to respond to that. God is a giver. Amen. God so loved the world he gave. The nature of God is a giving nature. And if people say, I struggle with giving, I struggle with being generous, well then you're not being true to the nature that's in you. Because the greater One who is a giver is in you. And the real you is a giver. And you have to respond to the real you instead of the calculating you. Calculating? Well, I may need it. And so you hold onto it. Listen, God will never put you in a hard place financially. You obey God and you will never arrive at a hard place. What puts us in a hard place is disobedience. But Paul was saying to these people who had given, he said, my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Can I tell you this? So many people live need minded. Their thoughts are full of what they need. They're constantly thinking about, I don't have enough for this, I don't have enough for that. There's nothing more tiring than living need minded. We all have needs that show up, but that doesn't mean that our thoughts have to be full of that need. This verse is to turn us supply minded. We are invited to leave the ranks of the need minded and join the ranks of the supply minded. Why? Because the first thing this verse talks about, number one is God. But my God, then the next thing it talks about shall supply. So notice this, God supplies. And then what's it say? All your need. Notice need is listed last. God is listed first and the provision of God is listed next. God supplies need. But most Christians are leaving are living need, need, need minded. They're not talking about God, they're not talking about supply, they're talking about need. Well, you're out of the order of this verse to do that because there's a divine order in this verse. God is listed first, supply is listed next, and need is all met and annihilated in the God who supplies. Amen. So we have to, we have to be supply minded. And doesn't that cause peace to flow? Yeah, talk about supply. Quit sitting around the dinner table talking about we don't have this and we don't have that. Can I say this? You talk about the lack of money and it will keep money from coming in. But you talk about the supply of God, that your heavenly Father loves you and he's taking care of you not because you earned it, but because he's just good. Amen. And because he's good and because he supplies our needs, we can be generous. The Bible says that he gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater. When you sow what he gives you to sow, the harvest will be bread for your life. You will be able to feast on his harvest from you sowing the seed that he gives you to sow. You might say, well, I don't have any money to sow. I the Word says he gives seed to the sower. So why don't you believe him for seed? Amen. Then another translation of Philippians 4, verse 19 says this. My God will supply all that you need from his glorious resources in Christ Jesus. Look at that. Christ Jesus is the he's the treasury. He's a treasury of heaven and we're in Christ. What's that mean? Glorious resources belong to us because we belong to Christ. Another translation says this. Moreover God whom I Serve has an unlimited supply of everything that we need. And as a result, because of your fellowship with Christ Jesus, he will completely supply everything that you need. Now, if you go to bed thinking about that, go to bed talking about that, where is there room for worry? Where is there room for fear? That's what I'm talking about. That meditate on these in Christ truths. These verses will build in you a consciousness and awareness of how rich you are because you belong to Him. It's not about talking about your bank account, not about talking about your salary and about your income. This means that you're dismissed from putting pressure on your boss for a raise. I'm not saying you shouldn't have a raise, but I'm saying don't put pressure on people to provide for you. Amen. And I would say this. It's not right to complain about our salary because we knew what the salary was when we accepted the job. And it's not right to all of a sudden to change and become disgruntled at what we once agreed to. Amen. God will bless us and he'll make it. He'll make up the difference. Even if someone doesn't treat us right financially. What if somebody took something from us that really belonged to us? If we will stay right with God, he'll make up the difference and he'll bless you more than anything you ever thought you lost. Amen. Another translation says this. But my God, so great is his wealth of glory in Christ Jesus, he will fully supply every need of yours. My, my, my. What's this mean? Before need shows up, God's already made a supply for it. Why? In this verse, God is showing us our future. Did you know that this verse is revealing your future? What's your future supply? You will never come up to a need that does not have a supply already authored by heaven for it. Now you say, well, if I have a supply for the need, why hasn't it shown up? It's waiting for your faith to lay hold of it. You have to talk about who you are in Christ, how you're supplied in Christ, what belongs to you because you belong to Him. Amen. Now, we are able to come to you on this broadcast for one reason, and that's because of the faith and the generosity of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. They have made the decision that no programmer on the Victory Channel will ever have to purchase airtime. I've never known a decision like that being made in the whole earth. This one couple has made this decision, and they gift this airtime to every programmer. And not only that, they're gifting it to you because you're the viewer receiving of this gift. It's an amazing gift. And so I know this that lives are changed because of what is heard on the Victory Channel, not just through this broadcast, but through other programmers. And I would ask you, if you're not already, to become a partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, because where we're fed, we should bring a supply to it. We should honor what we receive by being a helper in IT and financially when you give, you help keep this broadcast and other programmers coming into your home. And what a blessing and an honor that is to be a part of it. And you can go to kcm.org and you can sign up to be a partner there. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the Healer. God bless you.

Episode 820 | "In Christ I Can," Part 60
Air Date: August 22, 2025
Host/Teacher: Nancy Dufresne
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s extensive series “In Christ I Can,” focusing on what it means to live out your new identity in Christ. The central theme is how being "in Christ" changes everything—from how you think and act, to how you handle circumstances, faith, provision, and worry. Nancy encourages listeners to renew their minds to these truths, draw daily on Christ’s supply, and adopt a "supply-minded" mindset versus a "need-minded" one.
“Don’t wait till a crisis shows up to learn it. Do it every single day… You will never draw on Him without having your attention on Him.” (09:40)
“How do we know if we’re worrying? If we’re thinking about it. Well, Pastor Nancy, I’m not worried, I’m just concerned. Yeah, that’s what I said, worried.” (14:40)
“In Christ I have it, and in Christ I can give it.” (04:51, quoting Kenneth Copeland)
“There’s nothing more tiring than living need minded… Most Christians are living need, need, need minded. We are invited to leave the ranks of the need minded and join the ranks of the supply minded.” (23:00)
“When He gets involved, He turns you into master, not into victim. Leave the victim mentality under the blood of Jesus.” (20:59)
“He only worked with creation, creating, six days. Then He rested… but He works every day with us… If there’s anything that I’m so grateful for, I say, God, thank You for being patient with me.” (11:54)
