There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad to have you joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are just delighted to be bringing this series to you. We're teaching on in Christ I can and to explore with you and discover with you all that belongs to us in Christ. Why? So that we can begin to live as rich as we are and not come behind in any good thing. Because God has authored that our lives be full of everything he's provided for us. And we have been looking, we looked at two Peter chapter, chapter one and verse three. I want us to go just real quickly there again today. 2 Peter chapter one, and look at how verse three reads. It says, for his divine power has bestowed or has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. I just want you to see this. His divine power has already given unto us all things. Where is that stored up? Where is that housed in Christ. That in him is the wealth of all that God has made. So everything God had for our life, everything he wanted us to enjoy, he put in Christ. And then he put Christ in us. He put us in Christ so that we can draw on and we can be the channels that God works and moves through. Know this, that the plan of God that He has authored for your life is so great it requires him to to fulfill it. How can he fulfill it? We are just his channels that his power, his ability, his grace, his provision, his life flows through so that he intends to accomplish his plan through us. He never gave us a plan and then said there, go do it. No, he gave us a plan. Then says, I fill you with myself so that I can accomplish it through you. So then he turns around and rewards us for allowing him to flow through us. And that's what really the in Christ life is like. Just letting the One who lives in us flow and Manifest through us. And really that's what Jesus was so skillful at during his earthly ministry. He said, it's my Father in me. He does the works. Jesus recognized he was not moving or living or ministering apart from his Father. His Father was manifesting his power, his ability, through this channel, through the vessel as Jesus. And so we are given that same privilege that we are simply the channel that allows God's, God's power, his ability to flow. Because, as I said, the plan of God for your life is so great. You say, well, I don't think the plan of God for my life is great. Well, it came from a great God. And he can't produce anything but greatness. Nothing but greatness can come out of him. He can't author anything but something great. So the plan for your life is great. And then he fills you with himself through filling you with Christ and says, now I'll do it through you. Lean on me, yield to me, respond to me. How do we respond to Him? To allow him to work through us? We. We obey him. Whatever he tells us to do, we obey it. And then he fills our obedience with his ability. He fills our obedience with himself. And we become the channel that he can manifest through Amen. That's the best life. And can I tell you this? It removes all struggle. Because he has already given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Now it's just up to us to be skillful and at letting him flow through us, putting a demand on him and recognizing, I don't have to spend my ability to get this done. He has given me his own ability. That's what the grace of God is. He has given. And Paul said this. Don't frustrate the grace of God. What's that mean? Don't spend your own ability when his grace is there ready and waiting to empower you to be drawn on and to use and bring to pass what God has for you. Amen. And doesn't this give us the best life? Well, think about it. It's what Jesus said when he said, come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest. When he says, I'll give you rest, he's not telling you I'll make you inactive. He's saying this. He said, all your activity, I'll manifest my power, my ability through you, and I will feel your activity with my flow, with my ability. And so when he says, come unto me all you that labor and heavy laden, what's that mean? He'll do the labor through you. And then you become a co laborer just simply because you're a channel that he's flowing through. But he does the hard work and he gives us the easy work of just cooperating with him, agreeing with him, believing him and obeying Him. Amen. I tell you what life. It's the best life that he gives us and it's in Christ. Amen. But I also want to read. We've been reading this, but I want to restate it again. Colossians 2, 9, 10. The Living Bible says this. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. Listen to that. All of God. There is none of God that He has withheld from us. It says, for in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything. When you have Christ and you are filled with God through your union with Christ, that removes all the struggle. If we're struggling, we're trying to fulfill something apart from him. Because when we're drawing on him, it removes all the struggle. You don't have to figure it out. He has already filled you with Himself. His ability, his provision, his resources are all at the disposal of faith. All you have to do is draw on them. But this is what I want to say. Peter said, he has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Colossians Paul wrote and said, you have everything when you have Christ. Look at that. But can I tell you this, and this is what I want us to look at today, that the greatest of all that God has given us is God Himself. Thank God for provision. Thank God for healing. Thank God that we can know every single temporal need met, every single spiritual need met in Him. But of all that he has given us, the greatest thing is Himself. And he's given us Himself to fellowship with through this life. That we don't have to wait to go to heaven before we get to enjoy him. That we can partake of the fellowship of Him. I'm so grateful we can partake of divine health. I'm so grateful we can partake of divine provision. But what about partaking of God Himself? So let's not leave out our fellowship with God that in Christ he made us one with the Father. That we have unhindered approach God. Now, what's the Word say in Hebrews chapter 4 and verse 16? It says, come boldly to the throne of grace. Look at this. That you may obtain grace to help in the time of need. Notice this. He said, come boldly that we may Obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. I've always been enthralled with this. He says, come boldly. Look at this. He tells us to come, but he never tells us when to leave. Why? We get to stay as long as we want. And so many of us cheat ourselves because we only come when we're in a place of emergency, a time of emergency. But he wants us to come and never tells us when to leave. So what's that mean? Our every day can be filled with him, filled with fellowship of him, filled with the awareness of Him. Now notice this. Christ is in you. Greater is he that's in you. Everything of the Godhead belongs to you. It's in you. But don't just spend him for just the fulfilling of duties. What about your? Your. The highest thing that he is for is for fellowship. And Jesus paid the price and shed his blood for one reason primarily so we could have access and be one with the Father. We have access. Remember what Jesus said? I'm the door. What's that mean? And he says, no one comes to the Father but by Me. That was God's great desire that everyone be free to come. We don't have to go through someone to access the Father. For Jesus is the One. We come through his blood. We don't have to wait for another human. We don't have to wait for our pastor, thank God for our pastor. But we don't have to have someone to hear from God for us. We get to hear him ourself. We hear him in His Word, but we also hear him through His Spirit and in times of fellowship with Him. So I want to say this in all of the fruit bearing that we do for God in our life, don't leave out the fruit of what happens in fellowship with Him. Because the fellowship, the fountain of our fellowship with God is what is to water every single arena of life. If something is off in our fellowship with God, some arena of our life will be cheated because he intends to water every arena of our life through our fellowship with Him. And if we're not careful, we get too busy. If we're not careful, we put other things as a priority. But what's the Word say in Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 6? It says that God is a rewarder of those who diligently what seek Him. So know this, we can fulfill some things in this world apart from him, but they'll miss out on the wealth of what belongs to us. And that is Him Himself. And notice this. It says he is A rewarder of those who diligently seek him. You won't have to struggle so hard seeking increase when you've already laid hold of the provider. When you're fellowshipping with the provider, you won't have to struggle to receive healing when you're in fellowship with the healer. Many times people are trying to lay hold of what he gives apart from the giver. So just develop your fellowship with the giver. And then all that he has given is so easily received because you know him. And this is the great thing to know him. And you'll remember over in Philippians chapter three, around verse 10, in fact, I'm going to ask the control room if you'd put that up. I don't have those. All these notes that I have around me, different scriptures come up. And I don't always have it at my fingertips. So I want to. But I still want us to look at it at Philippians, chapter 3, verse 10. And how many of you know who wrote that? It's Paul. What do we know about Paul? Paul was so mightily used. Paul was really the channel that God used to bring articulating great revelation of the things of God to the earth. Paul was used to pin over half of the New Testament because the revelation he walked in was so extensive. Paul saw. He not only received revelation, but he saw the fruits of that revelation. There were people healed, there were people restored. There were people that brought into salvation. There were mighty revivals, there were churches founded. There was great fruit that came out of his ministry. There were miracles that were worked. And even though Paul saw healings, Paul saw the lame walk, he saw the blind healed, all of these things that were fruits of his life and fruits of his ministry. He makes this statement in Philippians chapter three, verse. Verse ten. Go with me. If you would go ahead and put verse 10 up for me. It says this. Paul's writing. He said that I may know him. Notice this. Even partaking and bearing fruit of miracles and healings that came through his life and ministry, none of them are a substitute for knowing him. So Paul is saying that I may know him and the power of his resurrection. Look at this. And the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. So what's he saying? Is this all the things that flow through my life and through my ministry, miracle power will not satisfy your heart. It's a blessing. It's certainly a blessing to receive of the flow of God, power, healing, but none of it will satisfy the hunger of a heart only he can satisfy. The hunger. So in all that he's provided for us in Christ and made ours in Christ, the greatest thing he's made available is Himself for our fellowship. And he doesn't mind helping. He wants to help. He wants to heal, he wants to provide. But he doesn't want to be left out himself of having fellowship with you. And so know this. He sent Jesus for one reason. He wanted a family. God has the heart of a father, and he made us his children. And a child will so much win the reward of a parent whenever the child is interested, not just in what the parent gives them, but in the parent themself. Amen. I mean, if a child is disrespectful to a parent, is demanding of a parent, kicks against anything the parent says to do, and then says, would you buy me this? Would you buy me that you're not as inclined to reward dishonorable behavior to the parent. Or even just say this when a parent is not even acknowledged, not even recognized. Well, I want this, I want that. But why don't you acknowledge what the parent has already done? Well, even so, that's why it's so important that we show gratitude to God. Because gratitude is a condition of the heart that will keep your focus as it ought to be. Not on what God can just do for you, but grateful for who he is in your life, who he is to your life, and not just what he gives our life. And listen, it's not wrong to receive of what he gives. He wants us to have abundantly what he provides. But just know this. He provides Himself first and foremost. And the fellowship of him is what we want to have most abundance of. You know, it's right to take your needs to God. It's right to let him know what you need, to let him know what you believe that he'll do for you. It's perfectly right. But just don't bypass him in getting to the things that he can give. It's good to ask things of God. And it's right because we're invited. You have not. Because you ask. Not. So he's telling us we need to ask. But can I say this? So much of my prayer time is not with asking of something, but it's just sitting and being mindful of him, worshiping him, acknowledging Him. God said something to me years ago. He said, start every day in the spirit and then keep your heart turned toward me all day long. Now what's he mean by that? When he says, start every day in the spirit, what's he mean Connected to your spirit, not just connected to your mind, not just connected to the physical, not just connected to the natural. Hook your heart up, hook your tongue up to your heart, hook your attention up to your heart. And if we're not careful, we can end up worshiping Him. And our heart is far away from those words of worship. And if we're not careful, we can go to church and we can lift our hands and we can lift our voice and say the right things and have the stance of worship, have the posture, worship, but our heart isn't even in it. Now we're cheating ourself. And if we're not careful, we deceive ourselves thinking that we're in fellowship just because we're lifting our hands. But this is a heart issue. This is when our heart is turned toward him, that our attention and our focus is on him, not just out here and in appearance, but inwardly. And that's what he meant when he said, start every day in the Spirit. Start with your heart connected to me, acknowledging him, and then notice he said this. Start every day in the Spirit and then keep your heart turned toward me all day long. What he doesn't want and what he doesn't want for us is that we have a devotional time in the morning, meaning we may open our Bible and feed on the Word. We may spend time worshiping or fellowshipping or praying, listening to a sermon, doing all those things which, that's right, those are elders elements in our devotional life. But then we walk out of the room and leave that in the room. We don't take that flow with us through the day. We've missed it. We start our devotional time and our day with him so that we are setting our attention on Him. And then when we leave that room, we carry him into every single aspect. Don't treat your spiritual life different from your natural life, your physical life. Bring him into every single responsibility of your daily life. That means this, mamas. You don't have to have a fellowship with God that suffers just because you're diapering babies and because you're cleaning the house and you're doing all the things to tend your family. Bring him in on it. Start your day, turn toward God. When you wake up, just start turning and worshiping God. Do you know it doesn't have to take 30 minutes or an hour. It can take a moment where you, you just get your hooked up to your spirit, meaning your attention is on him. You hook your tongue up to your spirit and you genuinely at a place of Sincerity. You worship him and you talk to him. Then you get up out of bed. All of a sudden, you get maybe 2.2seconds to open your eyes. And all of a sudden babies are crying. And this needs to be done, and that needs to be done. And your feet hit the floor. He'll go with you in that. You don't have to be just only in the posture of prayer and in a prayer place for him to feel your actions. Take him with you. I remember something years ago. My children were young and, oh, my goodness, there was so much to do. And with especially my oldest son, the moment his eyes opened, his feet were on the floor. My oldest son, that was just the way it was. Now, my youngest son, he could open his eyes and he'd lay in his crib and entertain himself. He'd sing and he'd play and he'd talk to himself. But my first one was moving. If his eyes were open, his feet were moving. That means this I would plan, I'm going to beat him up. Not beat him up physically. I'm going to beat him up by waking up quicker. That sounded wild, didn't it? Sometimes I felt like, anyway, and so I knew this. I'm going to set my alarm and I'm going to get up so much earlier than him. But when I would do that, it's like he heard me. He heard my eyes open, open. And no matter how early I got up, I never could wake up before him. He would always wake up and his feet were on the floor. And I would intend to spend some time with God apart from the activities of the day. But he would always. He would always beat me up every time in the morning. He was the first. And so I remember I would get so frustrated. God, I'm trying. I'm apart from all the duties of the day. And I remember I had to go in the car and start running errands, and the boys were in the car. And I just. The day was in full motion. And I said, God, you know, I feel cheated because I didn't get time with you. But I said, I tell you what, I'm just going to spend this day acknowledging you, thinking of you, bringing you in on everything. And so I just loaded myself in the car, loaded the boys in the car, loaded all the junk, you know, because that's mama were pack mules. We're hauling so many bags and so much stuff with us. And I fill up the car with all this stuff. And I just said, God, I'm talking to you all throughout the Day, I'm going to keep my awareness on you on purpose. And I tell you, it was the most glorious day. I wasn't cheated. I just remember that day because it dawned on me as a young mother. This isn't a separate thing. Fellowship is not separate part or separate location of my day. It is my day. And I learned to bring the fellowship in with him, into every single activity. And when I say that all that belongs to us in Christ, the greatest of all that belongs to us in Christ is the fellowship of God himself. So I got to the end of that day, I arrived back home, I was gone all day, and I pulled back up into my driveway, and God spoke to me. And he said, that pleased me. Now, see, I thought that only having my books around me, my Bible open in a place of solitude would be the place of highest fellowship. But, you know, we can have our books around us. And I've even done this. I have read my Bible, and my heart wasn't even engaged. See, it's not about what. What actions are we taking that look like fellowship with him, but is our heart engaged? And God said to me, that pleased me. And I saw this. Remove the law from fellowship. Remove this. I've got to read a certain amount of chapters a day. I've got to pray a certain amount of time. I've got to worship a certain amount of time. Look, it's fine to have a goal. I want to spend a certain amount of time reading a day to make sure that. Because if you don't make time for feeding on the Word, the day won't offer you that time. You have to make time, but make it a goal, not a law. Because what you turn into a law becomes legalistic and it becomes dry, and it becomes a duty rather than a joy. And if people say, Pastor Nancy, I struggle in my prayer life. I struggle in my study life. I struggle to meditate on the Word. I know I should do these things, but they're a struggle. Can I tell you, you missed one element. You're trying to do it apart from him. Set yourself in fellowship with him first. Just engage your heart. Talk to him as though he's in. As though you could see a person in the room, see him there. He's in you. He's with you. He's not distanced from you. But the Word says this, Draw nigh unto me, and I'll draw nigh unto you. So he lets us decide how near he will be in our acknowledgment of him. He's not the one that comes closer or sits back. It's us that we either come closer in our acknowledging of him or in our stepping back from acknowledging Him. So if prayer is a difficulty, it's because you've left your fellowship with him out of it. If studying is a difficulty, you've left your fellowship with him out of it. Fellowship with Him. He longs for your fellowship. And you say, well, you know, there's so many Christians in the world, there's so many believers in the world, they know God better than me. Can I tell you this? In my family, there's a lot of a lot of people in our family. There's a lot of kids, a lot of grandkids, a lot of nieces, aunts, uncles, but not one of them can take the place of another. And I want you to know that in God's family, as large as it is, no one has the Father's heart for you like you have. I mean, he misses us, even though no matter who else is present fellowshipping with him, when we fail to take time to acknowledge him, he misses us. No one can take your place at the throne. He longs for fellowship with you. And he longed for it so much that he paid the price of his son so you could have that place in his presence. What does that mean? Don't forget, of all the things he's given us, the greatest things he's given us is himself. Enjoy Him. Amen. Well, we're going to continue along this line. And until next time, remember this Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

Episode 858 | In Christ I Can, Part 98
Date: October 15, 2025
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her teaching series, "In Christ I Can," focusing on the riches available to all believers through their union with Christ. She emphasizes that the greatest gift God gives is Himself and explains the importance of fellowship with God above all the blessings and provisions He offers. Nancy explores how the Christian life is not about struggling in our own strength but about allowing God’s power and grace to flow through us, making the faith journey one of joy, ease, and intimate relationship.
“There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one… Power is present. That power is there to do a work.” (00:10)

“If we’re struggling, we’re trying to fulfill something apart from him. Because when we’re drawing on him, it removes all the struggle.” (10:50)
“He’ll do the labor through you. And then you become a co-laborer just simply because you’re a channel that he’s flowing through.” (12:40)
“Even partaking and bearing fruit of miracles and healings that came… none of them are a substitute for knowing him.” (15:15)
“The greatest thing he’s made available is Himself for our fellowship… only he can satisfy the hunger.” (16:25)
“Gratitude is a condition of the heart… Not on what God can just do for you, but grateful for who he is in your life, who he is to your life, and not just what he gives our life.” (19:00)
“Start every day in the spirit and then keep your heart turned toward me all day long.” (21:10)
