There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are just so thrilled to be in the series that we've been teaching on. And we're going to keep going. Teaching on in Christ. And I'm so thankful that God has led us this way because the more we minister this, the more revelation that the Holy Ghost is giving us. And it's so all encompassing for the life of the believer to know who we are in Christ because it's the foundation of our redemption. And once we realize that we're in, we're so much more in him than outside of him. Right? Everything that God planned for us, he put in Christ and then he put Christ in us. So we're not drawing on the human side of us anymore, but on the inside of us is the greater one. And we put him to work for us. And know this, if I could say it this way, it's like we're the glove, but he's the hand in the glove. And he certainly makes the glove look good, doesn't he? And so he's the one that we're drawing our movement from. Acts, chapter 17, verse 28, says, in him we live and move and have our being. Notice this. Every facet of our being is to be affected by him, is to get its life and its movement from Him. And so we're not to see ourselves as separate from Him. As we live this life, we're together with him that we've been raised and seated together with Christ. Why? Because he didn't want any part of our life left without Him. And I want you to know, anytime you're facing opposition, live with the awareness of I'm doing this together with Him. Everything that comes to us did not come from Him. And I'm talking about opposition or difficulties. He's not the author of anything that makes life difficult, but he is certainly the author of the answer from heaven. And so we're to face any opposition, any circumstances with the awareness, wait a minute, I'm not alone in this, but I draw on Him. We're together in this. He didn't want us to try to accomplish anything. He planned for our lives apart from Him. He authored a plan for our life, and then he filled us with himself so that he could fulfill that plan through us. So we've got to begin to see ourselves as one in Christ, not outside of Christ. Outside of Christ is failure. Outside of Christ is difficulty. And the devil is constantly trying to pull us back to the mentality or the mindset of trying to get us to live on the mental plane, what we can reason out, what we can figure out, what we can calculate and what we can accomplish on our own. And he always tries to draw us back to us, the self, this human side. But we're not to be duped by that. We say, wait a minute, I'm in Christ. I'm not going back to who I used to be. I'm not going back to trying to live this life apart from him, because I'm going to draw on the greater one that's on the inside of me. And he's putting me over today. Listen, Jesus made the statement, my Father in me, he does the works here. Jesus was a son of God, and he still never tried to accomplish anything apart from His Father. But he leaned on, he yielded to his Father. And you say, pastor Nancy, when you talk about living Christ every day, I don't know how to do that. How do we do that? You acknowledge him, you respond to him. You acknowledge the Word in your life. You respond to the Word. Be a doer of the Word. But I'll get up and I'll say, father, today you're in me. And because you're in me, there's no sense in me trying to spend me when I can draw on you and spend his ability. So I acknowledge him, I put my attention on him, I talk to him throughout the day. I don't ever make a decision apart from turning inward toward him. This is what is called living from the inside out, that I check my spirit because that's where he's at. I don't just check my mind or my body. I. I check my spirit. And I say, what? How is he leading me from within? What do I sense? What direction? And I want to say this when I'm talking about following the Lord. I'm not talking about hearing a voice. I'm not talking about having some supernatural feeling to take over my life. I'm talking about what do I have peace about? The Word says that we shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. When we're following peace, we're following the Holy Ghost within our spirit because he leads us through peace. And many times you can know whether or not you have peace in your spirit about something. I don't care how long you've been saved. I don't care how many scriptures you can or cannot quote. Every person can tell whether or not they have peace about doing something. I'm talking about in their spirit. Now, you can have peace in your spirit, in your mind, giving you fits, your mind, arguing, your mind, reeling. But just ignore the mind, because that's the feature of man that the devil tries to influence. He tries to influence our lives through our minds. But God is always geared. He's leading us through our spirits. So I've had times when my spirit was at peace about something, but my mind was in turmoil about something. So I just ignored my mind and I went with what was in my spirit. And every time I follow the peace that's in my spirit, it always ends up right. You know, I have spent large sums of money, not because I heard a voice from God, but because I simply had peace about doing something going a particular direction. And I remember one time I had spent a large sum of money in the ministry doing, you know, making a step in the ministry. And when I did it, the enemy said, you have just now gotten in, gotten yourself into trouble going that direction. And I answered it this way, devil. I had peace about doing it. And when I follow peace, I'm completely on safe territory. Because I'm following the Holy Ghost. When I'm following peace, I didn't hear a voice. And I didn't even tell the devil, no, I heard a voice. No, I didn't hear a voice. I had peace. And peace is such a safe guide because it's how the Spirit leads us. And so what I'm wanting you to realize is you know how to follow the spirit when you're following peace. But people get these ideas that it has to be something spectacular. They hear that they have to feel something, that they have to hear a voice. They have to have a dramatic leading. And I don't go by the dramatic at all. I go by the peace that's so easily, too easy to recognize. And in a moment's notice I can know in a moment if I should go a direction or not, do I have peace about doing it, or do I have a sense of hesitation or do I have a sense of caution or warning about it, then that's the spirit of God leading me not to do it. But if I have peace, I'm going to do it. And so I would dare to say many of you know how to follow how to follow God more than you recognize. And I would say this. I noticed that the more, the greater the decision, the quieter the leading. I've noticed that in my own life. Because if I have to have something dramatic as a leading before I make a move that puts me at such a place of being susceptible that I'm waiting for something out here to happen. But if I learn so easily how to follow peace, just I can know in a moment. I don't have to pray for long periods of time to say, do I have peace? I can immediately turn to my spirit and I can lift a situation up before God, a decision up before God and say, God, what do you say about this? And I can immediately check in my spirit, say, do I have peace or do I not? And I can know in a moment's notice if I have peace about something, and so can you. It's not because I'm a preacher, it's because I'm a Christian. And it's the exact same leading you have. So don't think that I have more available to me than you have available to you. We all have the peace of God on the inside of us to guide and lead us. And that is how the Spirit leads, through peace. So I want you to know that God, when we're following the peace within, we're following Christ in us, the hope of glory and the way we're walking as one in Christ when we're following peace. Now, if something's troubling you, if something is, if I could say this, making you afraid, step back from it. That's not the leading of God. He's not leading you through fear. God's not given us a spirit of fear, but a power, love, and a sound mind. And know this, that if some I've had things to where I had peace in my spirit and fear would try to come and try to get me to back off of following that peace. I ignore the fear and I stay with the peace. I don't follow fear. I follow peace. And I follow peace in the face of fear. When fear says, don't you do that, don't you do that, I say, I peace about doing it and I'm doing it. And I, when I do that, fear is disarmed because the devil wants to get people to back off from following peace by inserting fear against that leading that they have peace about. So just know this, God's not leading us through fear. And if you're, if there's a fear, a push. And notice this, the spirit of God leads. He doesn't get behind and drive. He gets in front and leads. And because he's in front and leads, do you know this, it's optional of whether going to follow his lead or not. You know, if someone were, they said, you know, I'm going to go drive to a certain location, you can just follow me. You're going to the same place and you don't know how to get there. But a person, a friend of yours says, I know how to get there, just follow me. They get out in front and they lead. Do you know that you still have the option of stopping following their leading? You can turn off and go a different direction. It's the same thing with following God. God doesn't force you to follow him, but he gets out in front and says, here I am. If you want to follow, you'll arrive safely. And once, once we're following the leading of the Holy Ghost, don't turn aside, stay following him. But the Devil, he doesn't lead. He tries to drive. He tries to get behind and shove by pressure and force and trying to make you fearful of missing it. God will never make you fearful of missing it. And so know this, that if it's not peace, it's not the Holy Ghost. It's not how God's leading you. And in Christ, the peace of the leading of the Holy Ghost belongs to you. And you can know it at a moment's notice. And know this, just because a decision may be larger and the decision may have greater impact, it doesn't mean you need a greater leading. The leading of peace is enough for every decision, no matter what that decision is connected to. Now I want to, I want to address a strategy that the devil is constantly trying to work against God's people on. The Bible calls the devil the accuser of the brethren. What's that mean by the, by the Bible giving us this title about the devil, the accuser, the brethren. The Word is also showing us his strategy, his device. He's going to use accusations. Well, what's he going to accuse you with? He's not going to accuse you primarily with something that doesn't relate to you. He's going to accuse you with something pertinent to your life. He'll try to accuse you with your past. He'll try to accuse you with your faults, failures, sins where you made wrong decisions. He's going to accuse you with something pertinent to you. And because of his strategy of accusing you, that is to pull you into a place, draw you into a place of condemnation. Well, in Christ there's no condemnation. So what's this mean? God's not dealing with you through condemnation. What's condemnation? A poor self image. It's pushing you down. It's always trying to point to faults, failures, weaknesses, anything that puts you down, anything that makes you have a poor self image. All of this stuff is outside of Christ. In Christ we all have the exact same standing with God. I don't have a greater standing than any other believer with God because I'm in Christ. You're in Christ. I'm not more in Christ than you are. You are every bit as much in Christ and as I am. And because we're in Christ, that's where we get our identity. Now I want to quote to you Acts, chapter 17, verse 28, quoted in King James translation. In him we move in him, in him we live, in him we move. And in him look at this. We have our being. I like what one translation says. In him we live and move and we have our identity. Notice this. Our identity is not in our profession. Our identity is not in our talents. Our identity is not in who we're married to or who we're not married to. Our identity is in Him. And so this is why it's so important that we realize who we are in Him. Because the devil is the accuser of the brethren is going to come and accuse your identity. And outside of him he's going to accuse you not with who you are in Christ, but outside of Christ. So it is our privilege, but also our responsibility to hold to. Wait a minute. My true identity is in Christ. Now know this. Let me just give an example out of my own life. In 2013, my husband unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord. Now if my whole identity had been tied to who I was connected to my husband, how I would have faltered that day that my husband left the earth. If my identity was tied to how I was as a help meet to him. Because my job was to see to it that he succeeded as a helpmeet as a wife, my first interest was I'm going to do everything I can to make sure he is a success and in that I'm ensuring the success of our whole family. But when that was not my whole identity as just his helpmate, why? Because that changed that day I was no longer his helpmate. Well, if I attach my identity to, well, I'm a preacher. Well, what if no one wants to hear me preach? What if I never had the opportunity to share the word again? If my identity is as a minister, then what happens if that changes? My identity is disrupted? Well, thank God, our identity is not connected to anything but in Christ, because in Christ, that identity never changes. And can I tell you this? That's the highest identity we could ever lay hold of. It's not who I am in my talent, who I am in my education, who I am in social standing. It's not who I am on my financial portfolio. Who I am in Christ is the highest that any identity could ever come from. It's. He is my worth. He is my success. And so when we, when we see ourselves as in him, we quit trying to establish a lower place of confidence in having our identity tied to something else. Well, I want you to know that in him you are always the same. Because why is this he never changes. You are, you are. Your identity is founded on a flow that is always stable, unchanging, immovable. You know, when my husband left this earth, the plan of God didn't leave with him. And I want you to know my identity is not even connected to the plan of God. It's attached to in Christ. And in Christ never changes. Because you know, the plan of God can have twists and turns. He can direct you. For 25 years, he led me. He. He not only led me, he called me and he empowered me to be a pastor. But one day he said, that season is over. Now you're going into the full time traveling ministry and into another office. What if I had attached my identity to pastor? I did it for 25 years, but that's still not firm enough to have my identity connected to because that's changeable. God can change my job description in a moment. And so I don't attach myself to something changeable, my identity to something changeable. It's in Christ that way. When God said, you're no longer pastor, I didn't go, oh, I'm less than. Oh my goodness. You know, I poured my life into being a pastor. So what? Now I get to pour my life into the next thing that he has for me. I don't attach my to something that he had me to do. Because if he changes my job description I'm ready to go with him at a moment's notice. The changes in life will show you what you've been identifying with. Have you been identifying with your job? I mean, what if there's a certain department you've been working in your whole life in a company, and they come in one day and they say, we're shutting down this department. How many times Christians have really emotionally fallen apart because a job change? Well, what did that show? That showed that their identity and their faith was connected to a position, an employment, something that was changeable. And when it changed, it basically took the ground right out from under them. Well, I want you to know God doesn't want us on anything that's shifting, that our identity, our self worth is all in Christ. I'm in him, and that is my anchor. I'm in Christ and that is my foundation. And so that is completely unchangeable. And I want you to know that the devil, the accuser, the brethren, is always trying to get you to see yourself outside of Christ because then he can disrupt how you identify yourself in the in the family of God and how you identify yourself in the plan of God. So know this, the accuser, the brethren, is always going to try to draw you as one that you see yourself outside of Christ. But you are. It is our not only privilege, but our responsibility to point back to who we are in Christ. When the devil comes and points who we are outside of Christ, it's our job to say, I'm not outside of him, I'm in him. That means faults, failures, weaknesses, Mrs. Sins. All of those things of the past were outside of Christ. None of it's in Christ. And I will not go back to that. If I could say that, that failing self image and try to improve my self image. My self image is in him. He is my identity. I'm in Christ. I'm one with him. He's one with me. And you say, pastor Nancy, my mind can't even grasp that. No, but your faith can. And I want you to know you can agree with the word of God. I'm in him. Paul said this in Philippians, I believe Chapter three. He made this statement. One translation said, he said that I might be found in Him. Now look at that. I might be found in him. Paul knew this. He looks so much better in Christ than outside of Christ. You are so much more in Christ than outside of Christ. Don't try to make outside of Christ appear to be better than it is. It can never be all that you are in Christ. And so Paul said that I might be found in Christ. It found that way in his own identity. But what about this? When the devil comes, he better be found in Christ and not be found as one operating outside of Christ. Because if we see ourselves outside of Christ, if we see ourselves in our own ability, trying to overcome opposition, the devil will get the upper hand. But in Christ, Satan's already been defeated. And I'm going to stay in my victorious, masterful position as in Christ. I'm not going to let the devil pull me outside of Christ. And so, so many times people let circumstances, they let accusations adjust and affect how they see themselves. You know, the day my husband went home to be with the Lord, that was a complete in the natural, upending the world for. And I'm talking about in our world. Everything changed that day. My husband had been at the helm of this ministry. He was the final decision maker on all the business of the ministry. I was the pastor of the church and he had turned that arm of ministry over to me. But there was the traveling ministry. There were so many other arms of ministry, and he was the head of that. And in that one day, everything shifted from that. I mean, everything was now in a different place. But the thing is, Christ was the same. He was completely stable in all that. And if I'm going to just, if I'm going to regulate my life based on circumstances, my, my, my, I'm so susceptible to circumstances. But I want you to know circumstances are not to govern how we see ourselves, how we operate. Listen, when we're faith people, that doesn't mean circumstances don't come. It means our faith determines the outcome of those circumstances in Christ determines the outcome of that circumstance. You can't keep circumstances from coming. You can keep them from taking your life, of course, by staying with what the Word says. And you're in Christ. And we approach those circumstances as one in Christ. We see those circumstances from the position of one in Christ. And listen, in Christ is not a feeling, it's a position. And if people will have this, this mindset, well, I don't feel very spiritual today. That doesn't change anything of who you are in Christ. In Christ is strictly a position. It's not a feeling. So don't be led by your feelings. You know, you think about this a police officer, that once he goes through all of his training, they will have, so to speak, a graduation, that they are now put out into the workforce. They take their oath of office, they are given a badge, they're given equipment, they have any kind of weapons they need to back up their authority. They have all of this given to them. And you can have someone who's taken his oath. He has committed to the security and the safety of the public. And he has his weapons. He may have a knife, he may. He'll have a gun. He may have a mallet of some kind, whatever. He has a badge, he has a uniform. And what after? What if after the day he has gone through all of his training, he's qualified now? He is sent out full time into that position. What if he wakes up one day and all of a sudden he doesn't feel good? His body, he has flu symptoms or any kind of cold symptoms and he doesn't feel like a policeman. It doesn't matter. He's in that position not by feeling, but by qualification. I want you to know when you were born again, you're now qualified. Jesus qualified you to be in Christ. Do not let any circumstance around you upset your identity of how you see yourself. I don't have to feel like I'm in Christ. I am in Christ by position. And the truth of God's word has shown it to me. And it is my privilege, but also my responsibility to answer as one in Christ and to hold the devil in the awareness when he opposes me. No, devil, I'm not. I'm not dealing with this situation is one outside of Christ. I'm in Christ and nothing of my past can ever weaken my position as one in Christ. And the devil is trying to dupe us through wrong thinking. But when we have revelation of who we are in Christ, that changes everything. Can I tell you this? Look to the Holy Ghost to have him to reveal who you are in Christ to your own spirit man. I can teach you these things, but it takes the revealing the Holy Ghost revealing it to your inward man. Because when revelation comes, that's the end of struggle. And you cannot grasp this with your mind, but you agree with it in your spirit. And you say, because I'm born again at the new birth I was put in Christ and I don't have to earn it. I have been. I've received that position. I don't achieve that position. I received it by God's goodness and his mercy and by his grace I will walk out that in Christ's life. Amen. Well, we're going to continue along this line next time. And until then, remember this. Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say Jesus, I receive you as my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life and I'll live for you all the days of my life. God bless you.
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her long-running teaching series on the believer’s identity and empowerment “in Christ.” She unpacks the practical implications of what it means to live from a position of union with Christ, drawing on key scripture (notably Acts 17:28) and personal experience. Nancy emphasizes the power and provision available to believers, the critical role of inward peace in following the Holy Spirit, and how anchoring our identity in Christ protects us from accusation, condemnation, and life’s many changes.
On Healing Power:
“There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one… it’s present right where you’re at.” (00:10)
The Union Analogy:
“We’re the glove, but He’s the hand in the glove.” (01:30)
On Life Changes & Identity:
“If my identity was tied to how I was as a help meet to [my husband]… when that was not my whole identity, why? Because that changed that day I was no longer his helpmate. … Thank God, our identity is not connected to anything but in Christ.” (24:30–25:00)
On the Simplicity of Following God:
“Many of you know how to follow God more than you recognize… The greater the decision, the quieter the leading.” (15:30–16:00)
Handling Condemnation:
“God’s not dealing with you through condemnation. What’s condemnation? A poor self-image.” (22:17)
On Peace Over Fear:
“God’s not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind… I ignore the fear and I stay with the peace.” (19:20)
Nancy’s style is personal, encouraging, and grounded in Scripture. She is both pastoral and practical, addressing real-life anxieties and challenges with faith and hope, consistently pointing listeners away from self-reliance and condemnation, and back to Christ’s sufficiency and indwelling presence.
Nancy Dufresne’s teaching in this episode is a steady and empowering call to live from the “inside out”—from our union with Christ, not our performance, status, or circumstances. Her central message: When peace rules in your spirit, you are following the Holy Spirit, and nothing—not the accuser, not change, not feeling—can shake your unchangeable identity and authority “in Christ.”
