There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

Welcome. We're so glad to have you with us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are going to be continuing in our series called In Christ. I can, and I am so, so grateful that GO has led us this way. And not only that, that the Spirit of God is giving us utterance. Because it's by the Spirit of God that we receive revelation. And it's not just knowing what is written on a page, but it's those words being revealed to us in our spirit. And that happens by the Holy Ghost. So we're expecting that as you watch today's broadcast, that revelation flows for you, that things begin to dawn on your spirit. And it's when things are authored in our spirit that we begin to get results. As we do that Word that lands on the inside of us, and as we get full of that Word, Amen, we have been talking about really all that belongs to us because we belong to Christ. There's so much in that. And I want to read. This has really been our golden passage that we've been referring to in this series. It's found in Colossians 2, 9. And this is the living Bible translation. It says this. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. So you have everything when you have Christ. That that statement is staggering, of the wealth that that contains. That we have everything when we have Christ. And you are filled with God through your union with Christ. So know this, that the fullness comes because of who's in us. The fullness comes because we are one with Christ. Christ is in us, we're in him. And everything God planned lives, everything God provided for our lives, he put in Christ. And that's because God never intended that we live this life drawing on us, but drawing on the greater one that's on the inside of us. Now, as I said we have everything when we have Christ. But why is it that sometimes we can look at our lives as Christians and say our lives don't portray that we have everything? Well, it's not because God hasn't made it ours. It's because we have to become skillful at employing what he's made ours. And we have to become skillful at partaking of what we already possess. The mistake comes in many people's thinking is they're trying to get God to give them something. When he gave us Christ, we received everything that we need in that in Christ place, that in Christ position. And it's about us discovering and gaining knowledge of what's ours in Christ, but then also employing the greater one on the inside of us. Well, how do we employ all that he's made ours in Christ? There's only one way, and that's by faith. How many of you know that we can, we can't even partake of the grace of God apart from faith. Do you know the Word tells us that we are saved by grace? Look at this. Through faith. So it's by faith that we open the door. For the grace of God to be received, our faith has to be activated. In fact, every single one of us, we got born again because we had faith in the grace of God to save us. So it's, it's, it's the faith of God that's on the inside of us that opens the door for us to receive of the flow of grace. And everything we receive from God, it's by faith. And so we're going to talk a little bit today, Minister, a little bit about how to receive by faith what belongs to us in Christ. Because although it belongs to us, it takes our active faith to turn us into partakers and not just possessors. Now I want us to look at Philemon and chapter. There's only one chapter in Philemon, but verse six. And we are given some instruction that lets us know how to effectively lay hold of what is ours. So Philemon 1:6, and it reads this, that the communication, look at this. The communication of thy faith. So you can have faith, but not be communicating that faith or releasing that faith or employing that faith. But the communication of thy faith may become effectual. Or we could say this, it goes into effect. Our faith goes into effect. The communicating or the releasing of our faith goes into effect by how? By the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you, in Christ Jesus. Know this. Everything that belongs to us in Christ has to be acknowledged. And that's the job of faith. To acknowledge, to call on what's ours, to agree with, agree with God's word, that it's ours. We have to speak words. We acknowledge it not just by feelings. We don't acknowledge it by, you know, a nod of the head. We have to speak words. Because the only way that the faith that's in your spirit can be heard is through words. The only way that the faith in your spirit can come out is through words. And know this. It's not just the words you say to God, and it's not just the words you say to other people that may hear you. It's also the words you're saying within yourself, to yourself. All of those must line up with the word of God. Because sometimes people have learned not to say the wrong thing in the hearing of others, but they're meditating on the wrong thing. They're saying to themselves something that's contrary to the word of God. They'll agree with the pastor and say, you're right, God's provided all these things for us, healing and prosperity. And then they'll say to themselves, but I don't know why I don't have it. Well, you're still saying something. So when I've had people to write me and they say, Pastor Nancy, because of some. Some physical impairment or impediment, they say, I can't speak out loud. Does that mean I can't release my faith? No, it's what you're saying from within. And you know, the Bible talks about the mother of Samuel. She wanted a child, and she could not have a child. But she was in the temple one day and she was praying. But she was praying quietly or to herself. She was. Her mouth was moving, muttering words, but there was no sound coming out. And God heard that prayer, and she, as a result of that prayer, had Samuel. What am I saying? Yes, if you're able to speak out loud, absolutely speak it out loud, because your own ears need to hear you. But more than that, it's what you're saying within yourself, to yourself, what you're agreeing with. If some. Because like I said, there are some people that, for one reason or another, are not able to speak. So don't get stuck on, well, Pastor Nancy, I'm not able to speak out loud. Can I not release my faith? It's what you're saying within. It's what you're meditating on. It's what you're thinking. It's also what you're saying to God. And so know this. We have to say something. And here it says in Philemon that we have to acknowledge it. Listen, when God wanted something different at creation, because what was the condition of the earth then? It was without form and it was void. God wanted something different. So what did he do? He said something. He said, light be. And in saying light be that those words were transporting his faith, that the substance of his faith went into the words. But it was words spoken that carried his faith. And the Holy Ghost performed those words. So everything that's. That belongs to us. Because we're in Christ. We activate that by speaking words. The more we acknowledge what belongs to us in Christ, the more that is ours will flow. The more of what God has made, ours will start manifesting in our life. The more we say it, the more we will see it. The less we say it, the less we'll see it. So it's not enough to say, well, if all these things belong to me in Christ, why don't I have it? Well, we have to say, we have to agree with God. We have to acknowledge what's ours in Christ. Why is that? Because that is the release of our faith. Now know this. The Bible tells us that the Word of God is like it's sown in seed form in our hearts. But how many of you know when a farmer sows a seed that that seed does not grow up immediately? It's. It goes through a process of. Over time. My dad was a cotton and wheat farmer, and he would sow his seed, but he would watch for the. He would watch for the growth of that plant. But he knew it wasn't going to show up the next day or maybe two days later, or three days later. But he knew that the seed was sown. Now this is what's so important. Just because all that belongs to us in Christ is absolutely true. We have to sow the seed of that in our own spirit. And this is why people say, how come the manifestation hasn't shown up? Well, are you planting the seed of the Word in your. In your spirit? Are you speaking that Word? How do we plant the seed of the Word in us? Through words we speak. So we have to say some things. We have to say what the Word of God says that himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. And at first, when people begin saying what the Word says, it might not seem like a living thing to them, but if you'll keep saying it, it becomes more real to you, because that's really a. It's a flow of meditation. And as we Meditate on the Word. It becomes more real to us. And we're sowing that in us. So know this, that as a possessor of everything that's yours in Christ, we have a part to play. We have to get that Word sown in our spirits, and then that Word will develop. You know, there will be people that will say, well, you know, I. You're just talking about naming something, claiming something. Well, Jesus talked about that. It wasn't just what I said. He was. He was revealing how the. How the law of faith works. And he said, he shall have whatsoever he Saith. That's Mark 1123, Mark 1124. The last phrases of each of those verses say, he shall have whatsoever he saith. So he's letting us know that the more we say something, the more we'll have it, because we're still sowing the seed of the Word in our spirits, and we're sowing it into the circumstances around our lives. But that seed of the Word has to grow up in our spirits. People will say, well, I confessed the Word for a week and nothing happened. But it's a process. You have to give the Word time to grow and develop. Because sometimes people want to treat the Word of God like an emergency fix, in the sense of they only are mindful of the Word when they're faced with a crisis, when they're faced with a tragedy, when they're faced with an emergency. Well, certainly the Word is for us at all of those times. But it's not just only those times. The Word has to become part of our daily lifestyle. And as we will have a lifestyle of speaking the Word, speaking what belongs to us in Christ, acknowledging that what will happen, we will grow and develop. Our faith will grow and develop to such a point that we can easily and quickly receive manifestations. But when people have not been diligent to speak the Word, to sow the Word, making it a lifestyle, and then they want to see results just by saying it quickly, within a day or two. And they want to see results. And they don't see results. They say, well, this does a stuff doesn't work well. You have to give time for the faith of God to develop on the inside of you, to plant the seed of that Word and let that grow in you. You know, when I was saying this on a previous episode, but some Bible school students asked Smith Wigglesworth, who was an English preacher in the early half of the 1900s. Of course, he had such a strong, robust faith, and he was. His ministry was known for the healings and the miracles that took place through his life and ministry. And some students asked him, how did you arrive at such a robust faith? And he said, first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. By doing that, then our faith will be ready at a moment's notice for what? To deal with anything that we may encounter. So know this. Just because something belongs to us in Christ, it will not automatically start manifesting. It calls for our faith to receive it, our faith to play a part. And we have to acknowledge what's ours in Christ. And as I said, don't just wait for a crisis moment to start acknowledging it. We have to, on a daily basis. We have to be feeding our faith, releasing our faith so that anytime we need to put in the sickle for a harvest. And we have already been developing the Word of God in our spirit by faith. And so that's when we get results. And someone will say, well, you know, you know, this Christian or this preacher, they. They have more, you know, they have more of the blessings God in their life. Well, they don't have more available to them than anybody else, but they have tended to the seed of the Word. They have sown it through speaking it. They have watered that seed through the. What they say, through what they do. And then they release faith to receive the harvest on that. All these processes are by faith. But it begins with this. Speaking the Word that means our, our words and speaking what belongs to us in Christ is to be our daily profession. You know, in Hebrews the Word says this, that Jesus is the high priest of our profession. Or we could use a word. It's the same thing as confession. Notice this. What's that mean? That what we confess as the high priest, he will see to it that that confession comes to pass. But how many of you know he can't. He can't see to it that it comes to pass unless we're speaking the Word. It's not just speaking anything, but when we speak what God says as the high priest, Jesus will see to it that that word comes to pass. Now notice it doesn't say regarding Jesus that he's the high priest of our faith. It says he's the high priest of our profession or our confession. What's the difference? Every single believer has. Has the faith of God in them, but it's not our faith. He's the high priest of. He's the high priest of our profession, which is faith that's released. He cannot oversee that something comes into manifestation unless we're Speaking or releasing our faith. So it's faith released that he is the high priest of. Not just faith that we possess, but faith that's released. Now, listen, I've said this before, but faith comes by hearing. Faith, faith does not, is not released by hearing. We can't just hear and hear and hear and hear the word taught, that that's part of it, but we can't stop with hearing. The hearing is to lead us to saying what we're hearing. The hearing is to lead us to acting on what we're hearing. So the processes of the law of faith is we have to hear the word preached, then we have to speak the word that we hear preached. And then we have to have a walk of love, because our faith works by love. So faith comes by hearing, it's released by speaking, and it operates by love. So we know this, that it's not enough to say, I have faith. We have to have the faith that's in our spirit be released. And that's through words. Many times people think, I just need more faith, when really a lot of times they need to be speaking more the faith that they already have. If you'll do that and you'll get in the past in the process of just making speaking the Word a way of life, then what happens? You're keeping your faith on the tip of your tongue. You're developing that faith that's on the inside of you and it's ever ready to be spent. You don't have to try to clamor in the face of adversity to try to gather up all the faith you've got, but you're making it a flow of your daily lifestyle. Listen. The occupation of the believer is to be speaking the word, hearing the word, speaking the word. God gave us the ability to speak words so that we could have in our life what the same results he gets. God gets results by speaking. God never does anything until he says something. God speaks, and then the Holy Ghost performs what God speaks. So the order of God is he says something, then he does something. It's the same thing with us. We say something and we do something every day. Release your faith every day, exercise your authority every day. Speak what belongs to you in Christ. And what will happen is you'll find yourself in the flow that's ever moving with what God has already made ours. As I said, we can't just sit back and say, well, I possess it. That's enough. No, we have to become partakers of what God has made ours. And it comes by speaking. And the more we speak it, the more we have it. The less we speak it, the less we have it. Now know this. It's not just speaking from a place of mental agreement, but it's a. It's from a place of agreement of our heart. Why is that? Because there's no faith in your mind. The residing place of your faith is your spirit. Your spirit is where your faith is housed. The mind is. You're not able to believe God with the mind. What do we do with the mind? The mind is to be renewed so that it comes into agreement with the Word, with the faith that's in our heart. Our mind needs to agree with the faith in our heart, needs to agree with the word of God sown in our heart. Because if we don't renew our minds, bringing our thinking into agreement with the Word of God, then we can have faith in our heart, but our mind will argue against it. We don't want a mind that argues against the faith in our heart, but we want a mind that agrees with the faith in our heart. So what does that mean? That we sow the word of God into our spirit, but we also sow it into our thought life. That's called the renewing of the mind that we take on God's way of thinking. And when we see that our way of thinking we might have carried is in opposition to how God's word tells us to think, then we say, I'm done thinking my way. I'm going to pick up the way God says and I'm going to lay down the way I did think about this to take on God's way of thinking about it. Now listen. A spiritual giant is one whose their heart and their mind agree with each other. Because you don't want to have a mind that's constantly arguing against the faith that's in your heart. Because what will happen is that the mind can short circuit the flow of that faith that's in your heart. So have a mind that agrees. So sometimes people can start speaking the word, confessing the Word, but their mind starts arguing with them. Just keep speaking that word. Just keep. Just. If I could say this, just keep letting your. Your mind hear the faith of God, the word of God, so that it starts. It starts coming into agreement. And this. Sometimes you will. At the beginning places of this life of faith, you may start saying something and it seems like, I know this, I know that it's true in the sense of I know it came from God, but it's like I'm having A hard time grasping it, believing it, keep saying it. Because the more you hear something said, the more the power that lives in those words will start transforming the way you think. Now, if you sit and listen to the wrong thing, you'll start believing the wrong thing. That's what exactly happened to Eve. She listened to the serpent speak to her, and the longer she listened to what the serpent said, the more it started making sense to her. I don't know how long that conversation took between her and the serpent, but I know this. She never should have listened. Because what she was listening to started going into the way she thought, and then that went into the way she believed and spoke. You can listen to the wrong thing, and it will start. It will start affecting how you think. Well, likewise, you can listen to the right thing and it will start changing wrong thinking into right thinking. Listen to the word of God. But the important thing is that needs to be. You need to be listening to it not just through a preacher, but through your own words. And you say, well, I know that God's Word says this, but I'm having a hard time hooking my understanding to it. Just keep saying it, if you'll. If you'll just keep saying it. The power that's in the word of God that you say will start going to work and start addressing the way you think and bringing your thinking into line with the word of God. Amen. The critical thing here is that it's not enough that all these things are ours in Christ. We have to sow that word in us. Now, God told the Hebrews through Moses, I've given you this land. He told them that he was going to make them a nation, great, have their own land, that they're no longer slaves. God delivered them. They came out of the land of Egypt. But what was the problem? They never changed the way they thought. Why didn't they change the way they thought? Well, God gave them the right thinking. I have given you a land. It flows with milk and honey. And instead of saying what God said, they went and looked at the land and said, well, we see a land full of giants. God didn't talk to them about the giants. He talked to them about a land that flowed with milk and honey. But they chose to look at the negative aspect of the land instead of what God said about the land. And the main thing God said about the land, he says, I've given it to you. He had already given them that. This is what they should have put in their mouth. They should have taken what God said And they should have put it in their mouth and sewn it in their heart. And because they didn't do it, they never arrived at what God had already made theirs. And so this is what we don't want to make the mistake of. Don't just say, well, everything's mine in Christ, but I don't have it. Well, the way you become a partaker is what God has said. You put it in your mouth because you have to sow the word of God in your heart so that you can get a harvest on those words. There is no harvest without the planting of the seed of the Word. So God says, he reveals to us that Jesus took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. But we have to sow that into ourselves, into our hearts. We have to sow that into our thinking by us saying it. And if we will sow that seed, there will be a harvest of health and healing. You say, well, how long does it take? I don't know. And can I tell you this? It doesn't matter how long it takes. It matters that we want a harvest. We want to be partakers of the things that God has made ours in Christ. And you, you know, it cost God everything for us to have all that's ours in Christ. It cost Jesus everything for us to have it. Don't you think that that makes it important that we have lives that reflect all he's provided for us? Absolutely. But it won't. It just won't automatically go into effect. We have to use our faith. And the beginning of faith is hearing what God says, then speaking what God says as a lifestyle. Don't leave that out as a lifestyle. It's Acts, chapter 17, verse 28, that says, in him we live and move and have our being. What's this mean? This is to be the flow of everyday life. We think like him, we speak like him, so that we can move and live like Him. And so we're not just treating the Word like a Sunday situation. It is the seed that we sow in our hearts so that we can reap a harvest of all that that word contains. Amen. Well, we're going to be teaching along these lines in the upcoming episodes, and you don't want to miss it. And until next time, remember this, Jesus is the healer. God bless you.

I want you to know that every single person in this world needs a Savior. And the greatest thing of all is that we have one. But this Savior must be welcomed. This Savior must be received. And it's so easy to receive Jesus as the Savior. The Word says that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So right now do that with me. Say, Jesus, I receive you, my Savior. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life, and I'll live for you all the days of my life.

Episode: 911 | In Christ I Can, Part 151
Date: December 29, 2025
Host: Nancy Dufresne, Dufresne Ministries
In this episode, Nancy Dufresne continues her teaching series "In Christ I Can," focusing on what believers possess in Christ and how to practically access and partake of those promises—especially healing—through faith and confession. The central message emphasizes that while everything needed for life is already given in Christ, it requires active faith, spoken acknowledgment, and mental agreement to see that manifested in one's life.
Reference: Philemon 1:6 - The “communication” (release) of faith is made effective by acknowledging every good thing in Christ. (04:43)
Nancy details the necessity of acknowledging—actively speaking, agreeing with, and meditating on God’s Word.
Memorable Illustration: The story of Hannah (mother of Samuel), whose silent prayer was answered because God heard her inward words. (06:14)
Nancy Dufresne’s message underscores that walking in the fullness of what’s provided in Christ requires lifestyle-level engagement: consistent confession, meditative agreement, and a renewed mind synchronized with the spirit. Faith is both possessed and expressed; only when released—through agreement, confession, and action—does it bring tangible results in healing and every area promised in Christ.
Listeners are encouraged not only to believe “all things are theirs in Christ” but to daily sow and speak these truths until results are seen, with patience and bold expectancy.
