There's enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one that may be describing you. You may be in a sick room, you may be in a hospital room. And I want to remind you, power is present. That power is there to do a work, believe in what's not. Try to get something, but notice that he's already made it yours. It's present right where you're at. Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now.

top of my head. From the top of my head. The soles of my feet. The soles of my feet. Welcome. We're so glad you're joining us today for Jesus the Healer. And we are continuing with our series called In Christ I can. And we invite you go back and watch any of the episodes you may have missed. But today, be expecting to hear answers for your life from God. We're believing that through the Word you're going to hear the things that you need and that it will feed your faith. How many of you know that we need our spirits, need faith food. And the Word is food for our faith. It's not only spirit food for our spirit, for our faith, but it's also our minds need the Word of God. Why? So that we renew our minds with what God says. Because when we have a renewed mind, that's what's. That's where the transformation of our life comes in. You know, there are people that get born again, but after they've been born again, a period of time, sometimes their life just looks like it did before they were born again. Well, what is that? They need to take time to renew their minds. What's a renewed mind mean? It means that we're finding out what the Word says. We're bringing our thoughts into agreement, and. And then we're implementing that word in our daily life. We're not just reading it and underlining it in our Bible or we're not just quoting it, we're living it. And so that's when the renewed mind is coming into play, is when we are living that word on a daily basis. As God shows us the Word, we put it in place in our life. And so thank you for taking the time to be with us because it's helping us all to grow up. Right? We have been Looking at John 14:10 in the previous episodes, and Jesus was speaking and he made this statement. He said, believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in Me. The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself, but the Father that dwelleth in Me, he doeth the works. So we arrive at this statement that Jesus recognized that it was the Father in him that did the works. But Jesus had a role to do. What was Jesus role? It says that the works that I speak are not of myself. So he spoke words that came from God. And so whenever we find out what God is saying and we say it, then we're giving God something to perform and he will do the works. But these works that, that were born out of Jesus life, where do we see that really the original place for them came out of this? When he said, I am in the Father and the Father is in me, he talks back to the union of him and his Father. Unbroken fellowship will spell many manifestations of God in our life. Whenever our fellowship with God is compromised, it hinders and interrupts the flow of God's manifestations in our life. But when we're mindful that I'm in Him, he's in me. Listen, Jesus confessed it, he said it publicly that I am in the Father and the Father's in me. We need to be saying the same thing. I'm in the F and the Father is in me. And therefore my life will reflect that union. My life will reflect that oneness. Because really that's what Jesus paid the price for. For us to be one with the Father. And in being one with the Father, we. We also come into his nature. We, we come into the life and the nature of God, the eternal life of God. We got a new nature at the new birth. We got rid of that old nature, that sin nature that every man is Bo. But when we receive Jesus, he doesn't just improve our former nature. He nailed it to the cross, buried it, and gave us his own nature. So Jesus made it real simple for us. He showed us all we have to do is acknowledge that we're one with the Father, say what he says, and then God performs the works. So doesn't that take the struggle out of it? It absolutely makes life simple. When we recognize it is not just God working for us, it's God working in us and through us. I would like to. I would like us to look at. Well, let's look at John chapter 15. We were there on the previous episode, John chapter 15. In verse three, Jesus made this statement. He said, now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. So notice this. We have a divine cleansing Agent called the Word of God, that as we take the Word as our divine prescription, it will clean sickness, symptoms, disease out of our body. Not only that, it will rid us of wrong habits, it will rid us of addictions. And this is where many people, they're trying to walk free from things, but they're trying to identify with their problem instead of just pouring in the Word. I want you to know that it's not about getting rid of something. It's about pouring in the right thing. When we pour in the Word that it becomes the cleansing agent of our life. Know this. In Christ, we are already all he made us to be. It's not about becoming, it's not about getting something more. The Word tells us that when we have Christ, we have everything. The King James of that verse says we are complete in Him. It's not about us trying to get more out of God, but it's about us realizing what belongs to us, becoming knowledgeable with that, and then learning to draw on that and put the greater One to work for us. So it's about us becoming skillful at acknowledging and yielding to him who is within us. We're not trying to do better. We're not. We're just realizing we're full of the better one and we're living and drawing on the better one. Listen, if we're going to draw on the better one, we have to think like the better one, speak like the better one, respond to the better one, and then all of life is elevated to his flow. Like I said so many times I've even done this. Probably most have done this. Said Father, I'm going to do better next time. Well, the way we're going to do better is we're going to acknowledge the better one. We're going to put the better one to work for us. Because how many of you know, Jesus didn't come so that he could change our behavior. He came to change our nature. We got the life and the nature of God. And so many are concentrating on changing their behavior when if they would just recognize, wait a minute, I have a new nature in me and I'm going to yield and respond to that new nature. Because all that he is is within me right now. So it's our privilege to discover all that he has made ours so that we will partake of what he's made ours. Now listen, it's one thing to possess it, it's another thing to partake of it. And many Christians live their whole life that they are full of. They are the temple of the Holy Ghost that they are full of all the treasure box of heaven. Jesus is the treasure box of heaven. He's in us. And I would say this, that every Christian who died prematurely died with a healer in them. Every person who failed financially, they failed with provision in them. What was part of the problem is they didn't recognize what was in them, so they didn't draw on what was in them. I want you to know that all of Christ belongs to you, but you have to discover it. If you don't, you're going to leave it unaccessed. And that's why I'm so grateful that God has led us in this series. We've been teaching on it for about a year now. On in Christ I can helping us to discover what it means to be one with him, what belongs to us because we belong to Christ. But we have to discover it because it's necessary to partaking of it. Now I want us to look at Second Peter, chapter one, and I'm going to start reading in verse two, Second Peter one two, Peter was writing and he said, grace and peace be multiplied unto you. Look at that grace can be multiplied, that peace can be multiplied. That means we don't have all that there is. We can have more. Well, what multiplies the grace and the peace? He says grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and the knowledge of Jesus our Lord. What's this mean? Ignorance is going to walk in less than what belongs to it. But if we will gain knowledge and run ignorance out, if we will discover what the Word tells about what's ours in Christ, we're going to walk in greater measures of grace, greater measures of peace that we should not have our peace threatened in this life. There doesn't have to be days that we have peace and then months that we're tormented and harassed in our mind when we realize all that belongs to us in Christ, that's the end of a troubled mind. That's the end of fear and worry. Listen. When. When Jesus defeated Satan, he defeated every flow of Satan's kingdom. Fear came out of Satan's kingdom. Doubt, unbelief, all of those things. Worry came out of Satan's kingdom. So when. When Jesus defeated Satan, God saw, worry was defeated. Fear was defeated, doubt was defeated, unbelief was defeated, sickness was defeated, lack was defeated, depression was defeated. When Jesus defeated Satan, he defeated him. And everything that came out of him. Now know this. You say, well then how come I can feel symptoms of fear, so to speak? I can feel tangibly when fear comes. You want to know when Satan comes? The Bible tells us that Satan and his evil spirits, they're still here in the earth. But there's one day their lease will run out and they will be cast out of the earth. But until that, they're still present on the earth. That's what it tells us In Psalm chapter 23, in verse 5, Thou preparest a table before me. Look at this. In the presence of mine enemies. He's not talking about people as your enemy. He's talking about evil spirit spirits. And the evil spirits, they're present. But guess what? There's a table that you're to be occupied with so that you're not occupied with the evil spirits that are present. So what? That they're present. They are defeated foes. And so when it talks about in the word that the enemy is present, that's not so we can be intimidated or impressed, but it lets us know that Jesus defeated Satan. He defeated that he defeated that of his kingdom. But because fear and worry and doubt and unbelief are of Satan's flow, can I tell you this? Satan is a tormented being. That is his flow. And when you can sense evil presence in the room, you can sense an evil presence. Try to, if I could say, make itself known. You'll feel fear. Why? That's their fear. That's their torment. That's not yours. It tells us in the word God's not given us the spirit of fear, but a power, love, and of a sound mind. That's what is in our inheritance in Christ. Power, love, and a sound mind. And when you sense fear, it's not yours, it's the devil's. And it's just you're sensing his presence. And his presence is a feeling and a sense of fear. Just like when the presence of God comes into manifestation, you can sense the love of God. You sense the peace of God because you sense the attributes and the outflow of God when he's in manifestation. Well, when the devil is trying to. Trying to affect your life, trying to influence your life, you're going to feel fear. But know this, it's not yours, it's his. Leave him with his fear. He's the one that is the author of it, and he's the one that's to carry it, not you. Because when Jesus is defeated Satan, he defeated fear in your life. And so any depression comes from a spirit of fear. And you're to get up and you're saying, that's not mine. And I Rejoice in the face of it. Because I recognize that joy is the flow that God authored for me. Not fear, not depression. So again, it says here in second Peter 1, 2, Grace and Peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and through the knowledge of Jesus, our Lord, according as his divine power, has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Now notice this. He's already given it. We don't have to ask him for it. He's already given it. Now, how are we going to partake of this? The next phrase says, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue, whereby are given unto us. Exceeding great and precious promises. Notice. Exceeding great and precious promises. The great and precious promises exceed every opposition, every troubling, every test, every need. It's an exceeding great and precious promise that is yours, already yours in Christ, that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature. Listen. The divine nature of God is on the inside of you, but it's up to us to partake of that nature. And then it says, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust, as a new creature in Christ, you partake of God's own nature. You have passed out of the kingdom of darkness. You have been translated into the kingdom of his dear Son, and Jesus is the Lord of the new creation. You're no longer under the old lordship of Satan and the sin of this world, it has no dominion over you. And when the temptation to sin comes, know this. It cannot make you cooperate with it. You are to say, I'm not under the lordship of that bad habit. I'm not under the lordship of that addiction. I'm not under the lordship of that, of that sin anymore. Jesus made me master. He defeated him. And these things will not push me around anymore. Now, one way that the devil seeks to hold us back from partaking of what we already possess is he constantly tries to get us to look back, look back at our faults, our failures, our weaknesses, where we missed it, where we sinned, where we disobeyed. He constantly is trying to get us in the backward direction. But I want you to know, anything that's behind us, if we've repented of it, it's under the blood and it doesn't exist anymore. Now, if the devil can keep you mindful of your past, if he can keep you mindful of how you failed God, how you omitted to do right things, maybe it wasn't a sin of commission to where you purp. Purposefully committed a sin but you just omitted doing the right thing. A sin of omission. Maybe you left things undone and you go, I could have done better. I should have been further along. I could have done more for God. Well, we all could. So you can't sing that song like a solo. It's a choir members thing here. I mean, if we were all going to sing that song, we could all have a voice in that choir. But. But we have been delivered from our past and so we are not to be looking back. Listen, the devil is constantly trying to get you to look back. And it's for one reason, to rob you of your faith. He wants to take your faith out of you. If you look back, it will hinder your faith. It will rob you of faith. And when you need a healing from God, when you need to receive a miracle from God, when you need to receive divine provision from God, you need an answer from God. The first thing the devil's going to do is he's going to try to bring up your past. He's going to try to get you to go in the backward direction because he knows if you look at where you missed it in the past that your faith will falter, your faith will we weaken. And you're going to need your faith and you're going to need your faith strong to receive what's in front of you. That's why Paul said that I press toward the mark. Listen, don't you know that Paul of anybody, he had to forget what was behind him. He said one thing I do. Forgetting those things which are behind and I'm pressing toward that which is before me. Paul was part of, part of a system that was arresting, persecuting and killing Christians before he was born again. Don't you know that the devil could have pointed to his past every time that God was trying to bring Paul into a greater flow or greater place in the plan of God? Don't you know that the accuser of the brethren was ever present to remind him of his past? But Paul said I forget it. Why? Because the blood of Jesus has cleansed us from our past. Once we repent and puts it back as though we never missed it. So I'm telling you this. You've got to forget your past. Because if you don't, it'll rob you of your faith to move forward with God. It'll rob you of your faith so that you don't become a partaker of everything that you possess. Now know this. If you're going to forget your past, you know what that Means you have to forget the past of someone else, too. God will not authorize you to forget your past, but remember someone else's so that you can trouble them with their past. That's the work of the accuser. That's not the work of the Christian. And so when someone. We let our past go, but we also let someone else's past go. And you say, pastor Nancy, someone has done me wrong. Well, I don't doubt that people have done others wrong. I mean, some have done some pretty horrific things to other people. But you might be saying, well, I'm waiting for them to repent. But what if they don't ever repent? What if they never come to you and acknowledge their wrongdoing? You don't have to wait for their repentance before you forgive and before you walk free from it. Because what you choose to remember will trouble your life. If it didn't come from God, if it came from your past, it is worthy of one thing. Forgetting. Do I want you to know something? When you were born again, God did not go and try to fix your past. He crucified it. He crucified, nailed it to the cross and buried it with Christ. He did not try to fix your past. He forgave it and forgot it. And you owe that to everyone else. And you say, but you don't know how somebody did me. Well, I know how we did Jesus. And Jesus suffered because of how we sinned. So we were part of the reason why Jesus was on that cross. So what's that mean? We're to blame for part of his. For our part in his crucifixion and death and burial. We. He was suffering the price in our behalf. So know this. You might say, well, I haven't been as bad as someone else. I want you to know sin doesn't come by rank. And sin is sin. And it only takes one sin to really cause people to end in a wrong in a. End up in a wrong place. You need forgiveness. And just like somebody else, they need forgiveness. Well, if you don't want your past remembered, don't. Don't remember someone else's past and don't bring it up to use it as a tool to hold over someone. Because God forgave us and he expects us to forgive others. If you don't forget not only your past, but someone else's past, all it will do will trouble you. It will rob you of your faith. And you say, well, my faith is strong, but I still can't forget what they gave, what they did to me. No, Your faith is weakened, whether you realize it or not. When you won't forget, when you won't forgive, that we forgive the way God forgives. And when God forgives, he forgets. You forgetting it is not you giving it permission. It's not you agreeing that they're right. What they did may have been wrong. But I want you to know your forgiveness is not calling what they did right. But it is certainly causing you to be free from the power of that. Of that sin, to trouble your life. So you need your faith more than you need to win your argument. And to have your faith, that's what you have to have to move forward in the plan of God. When you need a miracle, you need your faith to operate. You need your faith to work right. And I want you to know faith comes by hearing the word of God. Faith is released through what we say and through what we do. But faith operates by love. So know this. Faith comes, faith has to be released. And faith operates by love. We need our love operating. I love something that my spiritual father said on one occasion. He said, if symptoms are attaching themselves to my body, he said, the first place I check is my love walk. He said, have I stepped out of love with anyone? Because when I step outside of love, my faith doesn't work right. Well, to remember someone else's past is to step out of love. And so we want our faith working because we need our faith to be operative so that we can become partakers of all that we possess in Christ. Amen. Well, there's one reason that we're able to come to you with this broadcast, and that's because of the generosity of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. Episode: 950 | In Christ I Can, Part 190
Date: February 20, 2026
Host: Nancy Dufresne
This episode continues Nancy Dufresne’s in-depth teaching series “In Christ I Can,” focusing on believers’ union with Christ, the transformative power of renewing the mind with the Word, and the importance of recognizing and partaking in all that belongs to us as Christians. Key topics include the role of God’s Word as a “cleansing agent,” the dangers of dwelling on the past, the necessity of love and forgiveness, and practical steps for living out the reality of our new nature in Christ.
Presence of Power: Nancy opens by reminding listeners, especially those in sickness, that God’s power is available right where they are:
"There’s enough power in every sick room and in every hospital room to raise up that sick one. That may be describing you."
(00:10)
Receiving by Faith: The focus is on receiving, not striving:
"Say, I receive that power. I receive that power. I receive it right now."
(00:35)
Faith Food: The Word of God is spiritual food that feeds both our spirit and renews our minds, leading to transformation.
Living the Word:
"What’s a renewed mind mean? It means that we’re finding out what the Word says. We’re bringing our thoughts into agreement, and then we’re implementing that word in our daily life…We’re living it."
(02:15)
Fellowship Brings Manifestation: Nancy reflects on John 14:10:
"Jesus recognized that it was the Father in him that did the works. But Jesus had a role to do…he spoke words that came from God."
(03:46)
Personal Confession: Echoing Jesus’ words should be a believer’s confession:
"I’m in the Father and the Father is in me. And therefore my life will reflect that union. My life will reflect that oneness."
(05:30)
A New Nature:
"He doesn’t just improve our former nature. He nailed it to the cross, buried it, and gave us his own nature."
(07:45)
Not about Trying Harder:
"We’re just realizing we’re full of the better one and we’re living and drawing on the better one."
(09:00)
Practical Outworking:
"If we’re going to draw on the better one, we have to think like the better one, speak like the better one, respond to the better one, and then all of life is elevated to his flow."
(09:29)
God’s Word as a Cleansing Agent:
"We have a divine cleansing agent called the Word of God, that as we take the Word as our divine prescription, it will clean sickness, symptoms, disease out of our body."
(11:24)
Stop Focusing on the Problem:
"Many people… are trying to identify with their problem instead of just pouring in the Word… Pour in the Word, and it becomes the cleansing agent of our life."
(12:30)
Discovery is Key:
"It’s about us realizing what belongs to us, becoming knowledgeable with that, and then learning to draw on that and put the greater One to work for us."
(14:42)
Tragedy of Unaccessed Blessings:
"Every Christian who died prematurely died with a healer in them. Every person who failed financially, they failed with provision in them... If you don’t, you’re going to leave it unaccessed."
(16:10)
Growing Through Knowledge:
"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and the knowledge of Jesus our Lord… Ignorance is going to walk in less than what belongs to it."
(17:56)
Victory Already Won:
"When Jesus defeated Satan, he defeated every flow of Satan’s kingdom… fear, doubt, unbelief, sickness... lack was defeated, depression was defeated."
(19:21)
Don’t Claim What’s Defeated:
"When you sense fear, it’s not yours, it’s the devil’s… leave him with his fear. He’s the one that is the author of it, and he’s the one that’s to carry it, not you."
(20:24)
Forgetting Enables Forward Movement:
"The devil is constantly trying to get you to look back… to rob you of your faith. If you look back, it will hinder your faith."
(21:00)
Paul as Example:
"Don’t you know that Paul of anybody, he had to forget what was behind him… Paul said I forget it. Why? Because the blood of Jesus has cleansed us from our past."
(22:10)
Forgive Others as Well as Yourself:
"If you’re going to forget your past… you have to forget the past of someone else, too… God did not go and try to fix your past. He crucified it… you owe that to everyone else."
(23:30)
Forgiveness Is Not Endorsement:
"Your forgiveness is not calling what they did right. But it is certainly causing you to be free from the power of that… sin, to trouble your life."
(24:15)
"If symptoms are attaching themselves to my body, the first place I check is my love walk. Have I stepped out of love with anyone? Because when I step outside of love, my faith doesn’t work right."
