a disastrous arrival to Dover, Delaware for the dignified transfer ceremony of of the four US service members who were killed in Donald Trump's unlawful and catastrophic war in Iran. Donald Trump was there with his so called human printer, Natalie Harp. You can see them together on the tarmac right there. Now this follows Donald Trump evacuating US Air bases even further in the Middle East. If you take a look at the latest satellite footage from the L U Deed air base and military base in Qata that the United States has there, it is completely devoid of all US Aircraft because Iran has been successfully targeting that base and all of the US Bases in the neighboring Arab nations other than Israel, which has the Iron Dome. And so the US Is moving all of its equipment to Israel. Meanwhile, our service members remain in these containerized barracks in these Arab nation neighbors that don't have adequate protection or any protection at all while Don Donald Trump is attending this so called dignified transfer. And it is a dignified transfer, but Donald Trump is making it very not dignified with Natalie Harp and what he's saying I'll get to in just a moment the horrific things that he's saying. Like he's saying our service members all said before they died, we don't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon. We want this to happen. We don't want them to have a nuclear weapon. We're okay. Why are you lying about what our service members say? That's so utterly sick. I'll get to that in a moment, but here's what Donald Trump posted this morning. From this point forward, anytime the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at ships in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by missile, rocket, drone or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant, including those located next to or in the capital city of Tehran. Thank you for your attention to this matter. And then he posted that he was going to head it over to the Dover Air Force Base to honor our heroes. He makes a statement like that that puts our troops further in harm's way. We've seen Iran striking all of these US Bases in the neighboring Arab nations. And then Donald Trump goes and makes the dignified transfer about himself. It's so utterly disgusting. And removes the military equipment but leaves our service members there now. Military sources then told Tasnim Iran's state run media Iran will not abandon its firm resolve to control the strait and it considers the control essential for the long term safety of the strait. If the Americans target a bridge or a power plant in Iran, Iran will in turn strike infrastructure and bridges in the region, including energy facilities where the United States has interests. The Americans should have become fully aware in the past 10 days that Iran will target whatever it chooses. Therefore, any potential gamble by Trump will once again lead to disgrace. And the disgrace continues. We've talked earlier this week about all of the military bases that Iran has been targeting and they've been specifically focused on the early radar detection systems and early detection systems and other defense capabilities at these bases. One by one, Iran's been destroying these systems which protect the bases and the US has run out of munitions, I might add. But you take a look right here. For example. This was just in the past night in the Ahmed Al Jabbar Air Base in Kuwait. You see one of These long range 3D air surveillance radars, the before and after you see over here that's destroyed and that allows Iran, if they want to, to easily, more easily strike the containerized barracks or other areas in the region. You take a look right here. This is King Faisal Air Base in Jordan again that was hit by the latest Iranian strike and it hit a F15 maintenance hangar and destroyed multiple MQ9 Reaper drones. That's why the US is abandoning these bases as Donald Trump is going to this dignified transfer right now and making it undignified by his disgusting presence there and what he is saying. In addition, Iran's Houthi allies in Yemen have completed their preparations to attack ships transiting the Red Sea through the Bob El Mandab Strait. A maritime security group led by the US Navy has warned. This is coming from the US Navy's security related groups. This is from them. Sources close to the group stated that the Houthis have completed preparations to attack shipping, including the deployment of missiles and drones positioned near Bob el Mandab, the Joint Maritime Information center, or jmic, told the mariners in a notice Tuesday. The center, headquartered in Bahrain, provides security updates to commercial ships in the Middle East. And yesterday we saw saw at least six, perhaps as many as eight tankers in the Red Sea linked with Saudi Arabia that turned around as a result of the Houthis. So you have the Bab El Mandab blockade. And then you have the Strait of Hormuz being closed and Iran saying, we're going to keep shooting at any ship that tries to leave the Strait of Hormuz. We're going to be shooting right now and we're going to be hitting you. And meanwhile, as Donald Trump, of course, was heading to Dover, he was continuing to boast about how many Americans have been killed in his Iran war compared to the Vietnam War. He's doing graphs and charts now and bragging about the 18 deaths in four months. A complete sicko. Donald Trump says all of these heroes that are arriving today in Dover, all of them that are here, they all said, all of them said, we can't let Iran have nuclear weapons. He's just lying about what our service member said who died because of his and Netanyahu's catastrophic war. Let's play this clip with us to honor our heroes.
Donald Trump (Impersonator or Clip)
And they are indeed great heroes. Actually, they said, and they, all of them said very strongly, we can't let you, cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. They won't have a nuclear weapon.
Political Commentator
Then Donald Trump, Trump uses his appearance to do political messages and lie and says, Americans aren't against the war. Americans want this war right now. No one wants this catastrophic war. The hell are you talking about? Here, play this clip.
Donald Trump (Impersonator or Clip)
Well, Americans aren't against the war. A poll just came out. Americans don't want high gasoline prices, but they're not against the war.
Political Commentator
Then Donald Trump says, but Iran is going to pay big. And again, Donald Trump saying these messages while, dude, just let the dignified transfer happen. What are you even doing? And what you're saying is going to result in more service members being killed. Here, play this clip. Investigation as to how they were killed in Jordan.
Donald Trump (Impersonator or Clip)
No, they're doing that. That'll be released.
Commercial Host
You know what, targeting barracks.
Donald Trump (Impersonator or Clip)
I don't know. Well, they're going to pay a big price. They're getting. They're getting. They're being decimated.
Commercial Host
Is that report inaccurate?
Donald Trump (Impersonator or Clip)
Yeah, please.
Political Commentator
And then Donald Trump attacks the radio reporter and says, what? You want Iran to have nuclear weapons? You want them? Dude, you're the one back Last June, in 2025, you're the one who said that Iran no longer has nuclear weapons. You said they were totally obliterated. Here, play this clip.
Donald Trump (Impersonator or Clip)
Nobody wants Iran to have a nuclear weapon. Do you want Iran to have a nuclear weapon? You think it's good? Go ahead.

Meanwhile, we're seeing more photos of some of these service members who were killed. I shared three photos with you yesterday. Here is Battalion Sergeant Angel Rampersad, 28, who was previously identified as missing as a result of these strikes by Iran in Jordan. Every one of these individuals, who Trump is lying about and who Trump got killed has a name, has a family. And our hearts go out to them and their families. Meanwhile, Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State, he's at the ASEAN Conference, the South Asian conference the US Is attending. He's the representative there. He's asked, so are China and Russia giving targeting information to Iran? Rubio basically acknowledges that they are, but says it's not actually making a difference. So we're, we're okay with that? That's what the Secretary of State says. Here, play this clip topic Mr. Secretary of China and Russia giving targeting information to Iran. These last few attacks have been very devastating to U.S. troops.
Marco Rubio
Look, all I would say is that, you know, any time you're in a combat zone like that, there's danger associated with it. I mean, at the end, this actually proves the point that this is what Iran has been investigating, investing its money and for the last 20 years. I'm not going to discuss that other than to say that nothing that's happened, no, nothing that China has done is in any way changed the trajectory of the outcome of what you're seeing in terms of the conflicts we're having with Iran. And in fact, in some cases, they've actually been quite cooperative with regards to what they potentially could have done but didn't do. I think the Chinese, and I'll let them tell you, but I don't think they're big fans of what Iran is trying to do in the Straits. In fact, they've said so publicly that they oppose.
Political Commentator
Then a reporter asks Rubio, you realize that Section 5 of the Memorandum of Understanding that Donald Trump signed acknowledges that Iran is the administrator of the Strait of Hormuz. It says Iran will administer the Strait of Hormuz in consultation with Oman and with the other Arab nations. That's what it says. So don't you think that you sending your tankers in and you trying to create an alternative route when you acknowledge in the MOU that Iran is the administrator is at the very least bad faith and more likely a breach of the mou, and then Rubio lies like, that's not what it says. It is. It is what it says. That's why we should read the documents like we do here at the Midas Touch network. Here, play this clip has violated the MoU. Isn't the MoU inherently flawed? Because in paragraph five, they explicitly acknowledge is Iran has power in the Strait of Hormuz, whereas no other formal agreement before having acknowledged or recognized.
Marco Rubio
No, I don't think that's what the MOU says. Certainly that's not the way we interpreted it from the very beginning. We understood that to mean. No, we understood that to mean that they would ensure that no ships were being blown up, and they chose to violate that. The MoU does not give them the right to launch drones and missiles against commercial shipping vessels. That the MOU doesn't give them the right to do that.
Political Commentator
More from Rubio right here. I'll just tell you what he says here. Rubio had to, at the ASEAN Conference, he had to basically assure former allies of the United States or allies that the United States is not putting AI kill switches into the military equipment that we sell, because Donald Trump has previously said that if he doesn't like you, he'll put kill switches in it. Meanwhile, while all of this is going on, Donald Trump has agreed to allow Saudi Arabia to develop a nuclear program that the US Will support. And of course, Saudi Arabia has given Donald Trump's businesses lots of money. And as the United States security umbrella has failed in the Middle east, this is Donald Trump's art of the deal. Now he's gotta give something more to Saudi Arabia, who did quid pro quos, thinking they were getting a security umbrella. So now they, in my opinion, are getting paid off and getting nuclear weapons now or the capability to build nuclear, nuclear enrichment, which they can make weapons great, I think fairly easily if they want. So that's how Trump is dealing with the failures in the Middle East. After getting lots of stuff from Saudi Arabia, allowing them to develop nuclear capabilities, then United Arab Emirates, unrestricted access to United States AI and the United States semiconductor chips. UAE has all the access to that. Think about they invested in Trump's bitcoin and crypto. And as the security umbrella has failed in the Middle east and has hurt UAE and Dubai and Abu Dhabi, they get all of our secret technology. Now Saudi Arabia gets all of the unit, gets nuclear capabilities. And Donald Trump continues on with this catastrophic war in Iran where our service members are getting killed. Iran has been striking in Saudi Arabia earlier this morning as well. Gas is now at $94 a barrel. Brent crude rose to $94 a barrel right now. That'll be $100 probably by the end of this week. And I thought, Donald, you were getting all this oil from Venezuela. Didn't you say that you conquering Venezuela was going to be such a big help to the United States? Well, we learning this morning that the Trump regime collected more than $13 billion in revenue from Venezuelan oil sales this year. But nobody knows where it is. Nobody has any inkling where that $13 billion went. And it certainly hasn't reduced gas prices here in the United States. And one of the things that I've been saying is a massive red flag. We know fracking and lots of drilling that just takes place suddenly can actually cause geological events, can cause seismic events to happen. And I've been raising the red flag that more needs to be looked into about the unprecedented earthquake that took place, the back to back earthquake that had the foreshock and the aftershock, which is one of the most rare things ever. And if that's connected to taking $13 billion of oil immediately out of the ground in Venezuela, I don't know, it seems kind of a duh to me. But, you know, you all may be better experts on that than me, so I'm not gonna go there. And then finally, with all of this happening, Israel announces it plans to do a crocodile infested moat to guard Hamas prisoners. That's what their National Security Minister Ben gvir is saying. And also the Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister said this morning that there could be a war with Turkey happening very soon between Israel. It's not an impossible scenario. It could happen as early as tomorrow morning. It's coming out of the Netanyahu regime. That's what we got for you now. Hit subscribe let's get to 7 million subscribers. Hosts: Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas
In this hard-hitting episode, the Meiselas brothers cover the fallout from Donald Trump’s recent arrival at Dover Air Force Base for a dignified transfer ceremony following the deaths of four US service members in his Iran war—a conflict the brothers describe as “unlawful and catastrophic.” The episode critiques Trump’s handling of Middle East strategy, covers developments on the ground, and examines the political, diplomatic, and human consequences. Along the way, the hosts confront statements from Trump, highlight diplomatic missteps, and provide an unflinching look at how US foreign policy is impacting both allies and American service members.
“Why are you lying about what our service members say? That's so utterly sick.”
(Political Commentator, 04:31)
“The US is abandoning these bases as Donald Trump is going to this dignified transfer and making it undignified by his disgusting presence...”
(Political Commentator, 07:19)
“Americans aren’t against the war. A poll just came out. Americans don’t want high gasoline prices, but they’re not against the war.”
(Donald Trump [impersonator/clip], 10:01)
“No one wants this catastrophic war. The hell are you talking about?”
(Political Commentator, 10:09)
“I’m not going to discuss that other than to say that nothing that’s happened... is in any way changed the trajectory...”
(Marco Rubio, 13:31)
On Trump’s behavior:
“It is a dignified transfer, but Donald Trump is making it very not dignified...” (Political Commentator, 03:49)
On war rhetoric:
“He's doing graphs and charts now and bragging about the 18 deaths in four months. A complete sicko.” (Political Commentator, 09:06)
Rubio on China/Russia:
“Nothing that’s happened, no, nothing that China has done is in any way changed the trajectory...” (Marco Rubio, 13:31)
On nuclear negotiations:
"Meanwhile, while all of this is going on, Donald Trump has agreed to allow Saudi Arabia to develop a nuclear program that the US will support." (Political Commentator, 15:25)
Fiercely critical, darkly humorous, and infused with the hosts’ signature blend of brotherly banter and urgent political commentary. The episode is unapologetic in its defense of democracy and its condemnation of what the brothers see as policy malpractice at the highest levels.
This summary captures the full spectrum of news, analysis, and pointed commentary from the MeidasTouch Podcast’s urgent discussion of the Trump administration’s unraveling Middle East policy in July 2026.
