Phoenix Recording's first release of the new year comes from FRANK DUEFFEL, one of the longest standing label residents. His powerful melodic track KUKULKAN is an Uplifting Trance beauty and a perfect way to start the new year with. The Cologne, Germany based DJ/producer needs no further introduction anymore (we think). With his amazing music he placed himself in the hearts of the Trance community and we hope he will do so for many years to come. Kukulkan (lit. plumed or amazing Serpent), is the serpent deity of the Mayan and Aztec mythology. Prominent temples to Kukulkan are found at archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula. The depiction of the feathered Serpent is present in other cultures of Mesoamerica. Although heavily Mexicanised, Kukulkan has its origins among the Maya of the Classic Period.
