Sometimes in life we go through things that we wouldn’t normally want to, but that’s apart of life. The good and the bad things that we go through are all a part of our journey. Each of us as individuals have our own specific journey. That is what makes our story and our lives different from anyone else. This podcast will be my platform to tell my story and take my audience on my journey through my life, all while healing and growing from my life’s events to make my future brighter. While I use this platform as a form of expression for myself, I will also be speaking on the topics that are often overlooked by today’s society, emphasizing the importance of shedding light on your past for a brighter future, and of course building a relationship with those who discover my podcast and my voice. My loved ones have always told me I have an amazing mind and voice of my own, and they’ve always encouraged me to use it. Now is my time. Welcome to Just Jay, the podcast.

Deja pulls up to Just Jay for a full-circle convo that starts in a freshman dorm and lands in grown-woman territory. From how a one-month roommate stint turned into a ride-or-die friendship (and a real apology) to cue-card questions, “girls’ girl” energy, and why confidence can’t live or die with a relationship—this one’s funny, honest, and healing. We get into criminal justice dreams, paralegal life, law school plans, grief, therapy, gender roles, our fave prof (shoutout Dr. Evans!), DC birthday chaos, and Just Jay's signature orange vibe.
