Kennedy
Foreign. Welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World. It is Monday. That means it's Jimmy Fayla day. Even though you were just here on Friday. I was having a. A bourbon, plantain, pineapple smash.
Jimmy Phela
Something I know better than to do. Right. Is drink with you on an empty stomach. But the way that worked out, like, hey, you're gonna come by the Kennedys. Just doing a little happy hour thing. See, I do the Monday. Okay. There's no alcohol served at the Monday on the air. No, no, no, no, no. We do a little fentanyl, we sit down, you know. But anyway, so the Friday, I had no idea. I actually was torched off of that.
Kennedy
Really?
Jimmy Phela
Yes, because you gave me the rest of it and it was. I was literally. I had been awake since 3am I don't know when we consumed it 12, 15 hours later. And I hadn't eaten yet. And. And I was actually like walk around loopy, you know, when you know, you have enough self awareness to know you're not. Correct.
Guest or Caller
Yeah.
Jimmy Phela
So you can manage it. But I was close enough to not being able to manage. Like, if I would have had another one, I would have been able to manage. It was great. So thank you for that.
Kennedy
That makes my heart swell with pride. Another person whose body parts have swollen. Graham Platner. Bit of a horn dog, it turns out.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah. I mean, there's talks the Democrats might have to replace him with someone cleaner like E. I don't know if we're gonna get there. I mean, but what are we talking about here? And what I love about the conflation of the Grand Platner thing, because I love this story because it's all about judgment. Everybody make. They're trying to sidestep it right now by being like, oh, him and his wife were having problems. That's their business. I mean. No, no, no, no. This guy is on an app that might be frequented by kids for 10 years. For 10 years, he had a Nazi tattoo for 20.
Kennedy
Yeah.
Jimmy Phela
Okay. This is a. This is about judgment. It's a story about judgment. If you're not intellig have the intellectual wherewithal to know that 20 years of a Nazi tattoo is bad. Like, if at no point in 20 years or 18 years, to be fair, if at no point in 18 years, it occurs to you you shouldn't have did that. How can you be in the Senate but 10 years on that app, which. What I was reading about that app
Kennedy
kick, is that very predatory?
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Kennedy
I was just going to say by.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Kennedy
So many, like, medical groups Psychologists, parents, groups as being, you know, a place where predators.
Jimmy Phela
Thank you.
Kennedy
Go and try and find kids.
Jimmy Phela
Yes. Your poll number should not be going up with date viewers. You know, as a senator, but here we are. I'm not happy.
Kennedy
And, you know, so according to reporting from Wall Street Journal and New York Times reported this as well, his wife is the one who gave the messages to his campaign in 2025. Like, hey, this might be a problem. This might come up. And it's like, when did that come up in their marriage?
Jimmy Phela
Yeah, exactly.
Kennedy
When did she find those messages?
Jimmy Phela
But it tells you that I don't think I.
Kennedy
So I was like, oh, they've probably been married for 25, 30 years. And. And no, they got married in 2023. So at this point, they had only been married for two years.
Jimmy Phela
Wow.
Kennedy
You are still very much in the. The hazy, lovey phase of a partnership. Two years in.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah. Two years into a marriage, you're not even wondering if you're sexting a half
Kennedy
a dozen women, what is the next story to break in his campaign?
Jimmy Phela
Yeah. Holy hell, that's a good point that you raise. And what's so crazy about the fact that she was the one who hip the campaign to. It also tells you that some of these marriages, you know, they used to say this about the Clintons. Like, they're strategically together. Like, they must obviously not have a love interest in this relationship.
Kennedy
She's the brains, he's the boner.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Hey. Oh, but it's true. That's. That's. They say that about me and Jenny all the time. And I just. I bring her on the show. I get the laughs. I'm like, I get it. I'd want one like that too, if I were you. I get it. But the point is, okay, the effort now to kind of sidestep this is so comical to me. And what he did is obviously he had her record that proof of life video where it was like, oh, the mainstream media. It was gross. It was so gross.
Kennedy
And it didn't feel sincere.
Jimmy Phela
Not even a little. And she did. You know, all of the buzzwords were in there. You know, when they go into the grab bag and the mainstream media and then maga extremists, you know, and I'm fighting for a livable wage. Every one of his policies is idiotic. You know, whether it's tax the rich or outsource all of your adversities in life to the government. We know these have been proven to be dumb ideas.
Kennedy
Yeah.
Jimmy Phela
So if you have a guy who is smart in conversation, but he has a couple of dumb ideas. You go, oh, he'll get it. But if you have a guy who has 20 years of Nazi tattoo and 10 years of child sex app, he ain't getting it.
Kennedy
Pleasuring himself in porta potties and put.
Jimmy Phela
Well, listen, I'm not going to judge him there. I've been in some. I'm kidding. We've all been in some long lines at the concert. You're like, and I relieved. One need. That's just disgusting too. But again, it's always the people who claim the moral high ground. Yeah, that's the thing that drives me crazy.
Kennedy
Don't go anywhere more. Kennedy saves the World right after this.

Kennedy
3 month plan equivalent to $15 per month required. Intro rate first 3 months only, then full price plan options available, taxes and fees extra. See full terms@mintmobile.com youm know, even when, when he was on his Reddit chat music, that guy deserved to die. He's talking about a US service member who was shot by the Taliban.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Kennedy
And it's like, what is wrong with you?
Jimmy Phela
Yep.
Kennedy
And then to say like, oh, that's just how veterans talk. It's like, no, it's not. And you know, the veterans I know were like, no, that's actually super gross and weird.
Jimmy Phela
Yes. It's horrible. And that's. But Graham Platner is one of those dudes that in, you know, honestly. And we've seen this attempt made with other liberal candidates, like they tried selling Beto. And now to be clear, Beto does not have Graham Platner's baggage. Okay? And I don't besmirch Beto because his campaigns have done more to clothe the people of Caracas than I think any politician who's ever been elected there. President Beto, President Beto, Governor Beto, Senator Beto, whatever it is. The other people in the third world have Beto merchants on as winter approaches. Okay. But the point is they try to sell you on the idea of a guy.
Kennedy
Yeah.
Jimmy Phela
You know, oh, everybody loves Beto. But they didn't, you know, and they were trying to do that with him the way they're going to try to do it with Talarico. The Democrats have traditionally gotten air cover from the media for some of like the most flawed people who ever flawed people ever lived. But I don't know that this one can survive that because it's just so out.
Kennedy
Well, and also, like, Susan Collins is not a MAGA Republican.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Kennedy
Like, Susan Collins is one of the few people in the Senate who is routinely push back against the President.
Jimmy Phela
She votes for Democrats.
Kennedy
She's a liberal Republican.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Guest or Caller
In Maine.
Kennedy
So it's like, you know, essentially she is a Democrat.
Jimmy Phela
Yes. For all I know. And their justification, though, because this is that intellectually lazy thing everybody keeps doing, is they just pin the name MAGA fascist to a person and it doesn't matter who the person is. Like, they're trying to do that with Spencer Pratt right now. It's like, all right, oh, you know, the taxes went through the roof, there's homeless people everywhere. My house burnt down. But mega fascist.
Kennedy
Yeah.
Jimmy Phela
And that's supposed to be enough to be like, oh, well, in that case, I guess burn down the next one too then, because we don't want MAGA fascist in there. And that's all they're trying to do here. But Susan Collins, again, is someone who votes Democrat. I don't want to, I want to say 40% of the time she votes with them a lot.
Kennedy
Yeah.
Jimmy Phela
I don't know what the exact number is, but she's definitely not a Trumper.
Kennedy
Yeah. And she's in touch with the voters in her state. So the interesting thing about Susan Collins, she was down even more in the polls last time she ran in 2020.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Kennedy
And still won by nine points.
Guest or Caller
Yeah.
Kennedy
So it's like the polling may be off in that state and, you know, I, I for Mainers, I hope it is.
Jimmy Phela
Yeah.
Kennedy
And I hope people come to their senses and they demand more of their politicians. Because when he started running, people thought the Nazi tattoo was the worst thing. It's like, that's the tip of the iceberg. It's a dirty iceberg, too. That guy's.
Jimmy Phela
Listen, we've seen the tip of a lot of things at this point.
Kennedy
I know, but are there going to be women who come forward and say, you know, I met him when I was 16 on the app.
Jimmy Phela
And yeah.
Kennedy
If I was Bernie Sander, to come
Guest or Caller
forward and be like, I also have a kick profile. Sandman 69. I have been a member for 10 years, and I will tell you, there are a lot of very excited young people who want us to forgive Student loans and fondle their boobs.
Jimmy Phela
He'll tell you how, like, the rich people aren't on Kick. It's a working class app. It's a 1%. There's no 1% pedophiles on there. These are blue collar dirtbags. You gotta love the commitment of the grift.
Kennedy
The best kind of dirtbags. All right, Jimmy, what does this week hold for you?
Jimmy Phela
I got a big interview coming up on my TV show with Jeff Foxworthy. Now, I love Jeff Foxworthy, okay? He's got a new special out on Fox Nation, blah, blah, blah. They don't pay me to promote that. I'm kidding. We love you, Jeff. But the point is, he is a guy who has been four decades funny, which means he likes process, meaning there's two types of comics. There are successful comics who just want to buy a speedboat and get divorced five times and go live their life. And there's people that can't have peace until the joke works. Yeah, you don't.
Kennedy
And he takes you through that process in his special, which is awesome.
Jimmy Phela
I love that. And that's the point. You don't endure for 35, 40 years in comedy if you're a guy that can make peace with the joke not working. He's a process guy, so I'm so thrilled to talk to him and have someone else to share my comedy autism with. So it's a big day.
Kennedy
Oh, fantastic. All right, well, you got to check everything out that Jimmy's on Fox News across America. Fox News Saturday night. And of course, you can always see Jimmy here.
Jimmy Phela
Hey, girl.

This episode of Kennedy Saves the World dives into recent political scandal, judgment in public life, and media hypocrisy, all delivered with the host's characteristic humor and irreverence. Joined by comedian and commentator Jimmy Failla, Kennedy tackles the unfolding controversy surrounding Senator Graham Platner, discussing everything from personal accountability to the absurdity of campaign spin. The conversation also touches on relationships in politics, media narratives, and a lighter note on the world of stand-up comedy.
The tendency to apply simplistic labels and narratives, particularly the use of “MAGA fascist,” is discussed in the context of both Platner’s opposition (Susan Collins) and national politics (06:53-07:41).
Polling skepticism: Kennedy notes polling was off in Collins’ previous elections (07:41-08:01):
Consistent with the show’s reputation, the conversation is lively, humorous, and just a bit cheeky. Kennedy and Failla use sarcasm and satire to poke holes in media and political hypocrisies, while maintaining a spirited back-and-forth that keeps even weighty topics palatable. The discussion ranges from irreverence (jokes about porta potties and marriage strategies) to sincere concern for the moral direction of American politics.
Summary prepared for listeners who want the inside scoop on the latest political scandals, with plenty of laughs and behind-the-scenes commentary.
