B (0:27)
You know, this is my favorite podcast.
A (0:28)
Oh, stop.
B (0:29)
I love Kennedy's.
A (0:30)
How could that possibly be? Because you listen. You consume more news and podcasts than any I have often thought. How do you structure your day? Because you are always handing off, like op eds and articles and research and topic ideas. And you and Peter listen to historical pod. Like, I don't know how you structure your day.
B (0:50)
Well, I probably don't have enough quiet time, right? But I use. So I use podcasts for information gathering for the most part. But this is the most fun podcast I listen to, right? So this is like. This is like my dessert podcast. Everything else is meat and potatoes, a few vegetables sprinkled in. Because it helps me to. If I read what's in the news, then I want to listen to smart people who are analyzing the news.
A (1:17)
That's great.
B (1:17)
Maybe do topics I'm not that comfortable with sometimes, like AI. I don't want to read another thing about an AI company. I don't. I. It just goes in way over my head. But if I can listen to somebody that's smart talk about it, it's great. Like, have you ever listened to odd lots? No. So it's a podcast about economics. And I don't love every topic, but sometimes I'll say, this is how oil moves around the world.
A (1:41)
I know that and I love the idea that you can tell AI. Like, explain this to me like, I'm a five year old. Like, that seems like a very important utility in podcasting. Instead of pretending like we all know everything, which I can't stand because there's no way you could possibly be an expert in that many topics.
B (1:58)
And so when I. Sometimes when I'm listening to Kennedy Saves the world, it'll be maybe on my ride home, right. It's not the longest ride. And so it depends on the podcast that you're doing. But I always try to get a few. Kennedy Saves the World. Or like, if I'm packing, you know, that's great. You're a good listen. You're a good listen when packing.
