Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World. I know there's, there's a lot to cover right now and it's a pretty insane time. Today is actually my 1000th episode. We are going to celebrate at Langon's very shortly. We're going over to my favorite bar in Manhattan. It's on 47th street and I hope you come by. If you're listening to this right now and it was just released then come on over West 47th street between 6th and 7th. Langan's is absolutely beautiful and we will be celebrating what is the thousandth episode. It is a 1000 episode celebration and thank you so much for being supportive, giving your feedback, listening we watching and giving my career a new and welcome direction that I didn't realize this was going to take place a few short years ago and how fortunate I have been to be able to talk about the things that I really care about, the things that really make me laugh, the things that are completely absurd and all of it you have been there for and this unbelievable team that I get to work with. Matt and Mara and Devon and Jason and John and Kiara and Jonah who's no longer here and I called him Noah on purpose and everyone else, Kate, who is not here. But your presence is always loved especially the people who download and listen to the show, watch the show and you know, you help me save the world otherwise you know, it would, it would just be a, a solipsistic, lonely little existence. So let's talk about Brittany Kristi Noma's done. I knew it was going to happen. I called it a while ago after the way she responded to some of well, particularly the two deadly shootings in Minneapolis. Her tone was all wrong. Her officers didn't were not given the right directives and that is on her ice is now such a tarnished brand. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the name to something else completely because the the idea is that you need federal law enforcement to do what they are doing. It was a federal law enforcement branch that was created after 9 11, when Homeland Security was created, March 2003, ICE came to be and I think they're going to change the name because it is, it has been absolutely reputationally destroyed. And much of that is because of Kristine Noam. So now she'll be a special envoy for safe spaces or something. And that's really just a less embarrassing off ramp for her. And I'm surprised they didn't give it to Tom Holman. Maybe he didn't want it. He went into Minneapolis and the tone, the completely changed. You're not hearing about protests, you're not hearing about deadly officer involved shootings. They just want to go and get the very worst people wherever they are. Hopefully have the help from the jails and the governors and the mayors and the county commissioners to get bad people out, not good hardworking immigrants. And part of the the demonization of them was Kristi Noem's ham handedness. I do not mourn her passing as a cabinet secretary, not her actual passing. I want her to live a long and fruitful life with the love of her life. Not Corey Lewandowski. Of course, that's a co worker she's barely acquainted with. Of course. Don't go anywhere. More Kennedy Saves the World right after this. This is Ainsley Earhart. Thank you for joining me for the 52 episode podcast series the Life of Jesus.

I want to talk about Brittany though, because she was arrested for DUI last night by California Highway Patrol in Ventura county. And this has been a long time coming. So here's the deal. When I had a publicist back when I was doing my game show in the early 2000s, his father was at the time repping Kelsey Grammer who was going through a contentious divorce with his then wife Camille. George Clooney, you know, at that time he was a, a bachelor about town and Charlie Sheen all at the same time. So I got a glimpse inside crisis pr which is a fascinating enterprise, getting ahead of a story. You know what you say when a celebrity is in deep yogurt? Britney Spears, I was kind of surprised. Has a publicist and this publicist name is Kade Hudson, not Kate Hudson because at first I was like Kate Hudson, wow. She acts, she designs athleisure wear and she's a part time crisis PR person. What a badass. No, it's Cade C, A D, E and Cade Hudson released this statement about Britney and when you're, when your publicist is saying this, you've kind of lost your squad. This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. When have you ever heard a statement starting like that? That's great. I mean, this, it sounds like my mom when I got caught drinking at my friend Amy's house in, in eighth grade and my mom was like, this is completely inexcusable. Oh, she was mad. And then it goes on to say, Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law. And hopefully this can be the first step. So this is just step one. Finally getting arrested is step one in the long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life. Hopefully she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time. That is someone who is at their wit's end. That is someone who is scared that their client, maybe she pays her on time, maybe she doesn't. You know, given Britney's erratic behavior, I bet she has an erratic payment schedule. This is someone who is so completely over their clients and not just because it's exhausting and they get woken up at four in the morning all the time. It would be like being Britney Spears publicist with like, it's like being an obstetrician who's always on call in the middle of the night. You just know it because like the babies are going to keep getting born. Britney is going to keep getting in trouble. You know, she's drinking pictures of iced tea infused with God knows what, day and night, up for days on time, juggling knives, dogs pooping everywhere, dancing in what looks like a dirty diaper in a bar. A few months ago, bartender said she wasn't drinking at that establishment. She gets in the car, she's veering all over the place and now she's finally busted for dui. And I hope she gets help. I, but this, I, I was of course scrolling through pictures of her today like everyone else was because it almost feels like the in memoriam because she's going to die if she keeps on this course. She is not going to survive. And that is tragic because she was famous way too young. She had a family who didn't take care of her. They probably didn't know how. They were so overwhelmed and excited and jacked up on her celebrity more probably than she was, that, you know, they were just in it for themselves and for the dopamine rush and the ride that she took them on and funded. And somewhere along the way, you know, it's like, my guess is that she obviously had some trauma. I. I hope to God she wasn't sexually abused, but it's the kind of thing where you can see something like that having happened. So she probably had, in addition to the. The trauma in and of itself, becoming famous at such a young age, and the demands and the pressure and the cruelty. Like, do you remember the press cruelty when she first blew up as a pop star? And they're like, she got her boobs done. She got her boobs taken out. She got her boobs done again. And she was like, you know, 19 years old. So you have all of that, the. The trauma from that. And then she's probably got a family history of mental illness and, you know, all those. Those worlds colliding, God knows what substances she has been on, pharmaceutical and recreational for years. You can only imagine. And, you know, it leads to her brain being destroyed. I was going through those pictures. She has completely dead eyes. There is no one in there. It looks as though her soul is gone. And I don't know if that's medication. I don't know if that's the mental illness, but whoever that light was that we first fell in love with, that light has been extinguished. And then her family took advantage of her when she was ascending. And when she started to decline, her dad took advantage again with the overbearing conservatorship. And I was talking to Dr. Drew about this when we were on vacation in St. Martin just a month and a half ago, and he was telling me, it's impossible to get a conservatorship like that, of that magnitude in Californ, so something insane must have been going on. And then I was a free Britney person. I felt like the conservatorship was paternalistic. I felt like it was unconstitutional. I felt like it violated every remaining right that she had. But there had to be something. And of course, there she is, left to her own devices, and she's got these sycophants and these hangers on and these dudes that want her for fame and money and she acquiesces because she's still a traumatized kid who wants to be loved. That's sad. But when you make the decision as an adult with lots of money and resources still, and you're hammered or on pills and you get in a car and drive, screw you, lady. You don't get to do that. I don't care how depressing your sob story is. I don't care if your deadbeat, piece of garbage ex husband wrote an expose that was embarrassing. You picked him. You chose to have children with him. That is a lifetime commitment, even when the commitment to the marriage is done. So at some point, and I said this the last time, she has to take responsibility for something. And hopefully this means she goes to a long term psychiatric and substance rehabilitation facility. Long term for a long time, for more than 28 days or three months. She's the kind of person that needs to be cared for and tended to for well over a year. That's the only way. And I want her to have a comeback. I want her to have a complete life and a relationship with her son, sons and a career. She's still an artist. She still deserves to perform. But she is not entitled to taking her life or anyone else's life in her hands and gambling with it because she's strung out on God knows what. She. She has to start somewhere. Starts with the woman in the mirror or the woman in the blade of a giant chef's knife. Brittany, I'm trying to save your world. Help me help you. This has been Kennedy Saves the world.
