Snowbike Mike
been playing it for about 10 minutes now. I'm trying to capture footage for Kevin via my iPhone screen.
Blessing

Blessing
This is the type of journalism you'll never. You won't get anywhere else. Welcome in.
Snowbike Mike
Good morning, Mike, what is this Yoshi app that you download?
Blessing
I don't know. I saw.
Snowbike Mike
Fill me in for a second.
Blessing
Blessing put it in the. In the dock, and it's just called hello, Yoshi. And it's just. It's just like a Yoshi, and, like, you interact with it.
Snowbike Mike
Oh, okay.
Blessing
But, like, I guess it's.
Snowbike Mike
Angle it down a little bit.
Blessing
We're getting too much. Yeah, let me.
Snowbike Mike
Let me.
Blessing
Let me lower. I can lower the brightness for you. Yeah, there you go. There he is. I don't know. If you just interact with them. What does he do?
Snowbike Mike
Oh. So what's the goal here? You just put that in front of a child's face on a car?
Blessing
Pretty much, yeah.
Snowbike Mike
Zone the fuck out.
Blessing
Yeah. Okay. I've kind of moved it. I don't. Yeah, I don't. Oh, it's counting. There's counting. There's numbers.
Snowbike Mike
Do you want to show us your game? It's like Elmo.
Blessing
Mike, do you want to show us what you. What you brought today for the class? Oh, my God.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. I'm getting mauled to death by some.
Blessing
There's just a lot of colors and bright.
Snowbike Mike
I'm gonna send this to Kevin so we talk about it in the story in just a second.
Blessing
A lot of colors and bright flashes. Good morning, everybody. Welcome in to kind of Funny Games Daily. Snowbike Mike
What have I been gaming on? I've been. I'm on a big Zelda kick right now. Andy Cortez. I have finished up Ocarina of Time. I'll talk about that tomorrow with you and Blessing with my review on the Gamescast. Now I've just jumped right into Majora's Mask.
Blessing
Why not?
Snowbike Mike
Why not, right? What else do I got to play?
Blessing
When in Hyrule.
Snowbike Mike
Let's just jump in there. Well, spoilers, you're not in high terminal, so you know you're not in Hyrule anymore. Which is a whole exciting thing, you know. So that's what I've been on. I. You've been on some Mario. Tell me about it.
Blessing
Yeah, I finished Mario Galaxy 2 for the first time last night.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
I did see somebody in the comments say, man, what a bummer for Mike and Annie to be playing some of Tim's favorite games when he's gone.
Snowbike Mike
Tim looked at me, he's like, man, it'd be really great if I was on that review with you. Maybe we could like figure out a different date. And I didn't have the heart to tell him. Like, I'm not going to raise my hand and tell anybody. We're just going to do this.
Blessing
Yeah, we're just going to do it. Sorry, Tim. Sorry. Yeah, we. We played Mario Galaxy 2 last night. Beat it. It is my. I already say it's my favorite Mario of all time.
Snowbike Mike
Mario Galaxy 2.
Blessing
Favorite Mario of all time.
Snowbike Mike
Good to know.
Blessing
Favorite 3D Mario. Favorite Mario of all time.
Snowbike Mike
Over Odyssey.
Blessing
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
I also didn't love Odyssey. Okay. I think may also may have been a different place in time for me, Mike. I don't know. It's one, it's one I'd want to revisit. I didn't, I didn't finish it, but I got like 75, maybe 80% of the way there.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
Me chat. Let me know how far in the samurai world is. There's an area that's like very like samurai Japan. Kinda let me know how far into the game because that's how far kind of I got maybe a bit past that, but I played it for a decent amount and I liked it. Don't get me wrong, I liked Odyssey.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. Yeah.
Blessing
But when I beat Galaxy one, I was like, ooh, Galaxy one is. This is a really special video game and I. I like this more than Odyssey and playing Galaxy 2 and beating it. It's a second to last world. Damn. Okay. That's pretty dang close.
Snowbike Mike
So now you've beaten it. What's next? What's next for Andy Cortez? You said review season is on the horizon. You can smell it. It's about to bloom.
Blessing
You smell these azaleas out there? The azaleas. The Dan.
Snowbike Mike
Playing a lot of deadlock.
Blessing
Oh, so much deadlock. Mike.
Snowbike Mike
Overwatch comp. What happened to you? Where'd you go with that?
Blessing
Well, kind of review season started kind of coming in.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
And my nighttime gaming was strictly reserved for, you know, I'm gonna. I need to go take a shower.
Snowbike Mike
But I'm like, first Deadlock.
Blessing
I got a couple of deadlock matches in me and one match turns into two, turns into three. You know how it goes. It should, you know how it goes. And, and it may not even be the one more. We can't end on the loss. Sometimes it's like that was such a good game. I want to play another game.
Snowbike Mike
I love that.
Blessing
I'm so in love with Deadlock.
Snowbike Mike
So many champions and heroes to try. So many new things, new straps to learn.
Blessing
I mean the Met constantly changing and I guess that's kind of, you know, you have a lot of experience with, you know, games like League of Legends and stuff and apparently that's what the, the meta's constantly changing there. And so that's kind of what keeps players fresh.
Snowbike Mike
Like we saw with the games cast plays yesterday with Pokemon Champions. Of course it's a big competitive scene. Things are going to change each and every day. People are going to try new tactics, new things to make a new meta or break the current meta, counter the meta. And you're going to be experiencing that in Deadlock.
Blessing
Yeah, hopefully. I mean I've been having a freaking blast with it. I did want to. Before we get into the news, Kevin, I'm sending through a, a link into assets because I want to live react to this. What's next?
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, what is next?
Blessing
I, I, I think now that I beat Galaxy 2, I think probably AR. Arkham City.
Snowbike Mike
You think you go AR City. That's great. I think possibly stick with Batman. That's great.
Blessing
I think possibly not.
Snowbike Mike
Sure.
Blessing
The thing I want to react to with you.
Snowbike Mike
Mike's in desert.
Blessing
Eventually.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
Eventually.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
I think that would be a great review for us to like, hey, we are getting back to Crimson Desert. We are, we are playing it.
Snowbike Mike
The Re, re review. Yeah.
Blessing
Yeah. Well, I mean I wasn't even a part of it. Like I, I hosted it but I hadn't, you know, played much of it at all. But I would like to see after things have changed. I think I want to react to you react with you, Mike, is the new gameplay for the new Overwatch Hero Sierra.
Snowbike Mike
Oh, okay. Nice.
Blessing
Brand new Overwatch DPS player. I haven't watched.
Snowbike Mike
I like that.
Blessing
I haven't watched this yet. Let's react to it right now. Audio listeners. You just got to imagine she's cool. She looks like she's got a cami sort of hat like from Street Fighter.
Snowbike Mike
Cool looking gun as well.
Blessing
She's a DPS player.
Snowbike Mike
Oh, you love dps.
Blessing
Apparently she. Okay, so a little bit of auto aim Right there. Mike, you saw that shots.
Snowbike Mike
I saw that a drone you can zip line on.
Blessing
Explosive grenade stronger.
Snowbike Mike
You know who she's giving? Who's the valorant girl that I played for a little bit? Raz Race. Yeah, yeah, she's giving that right now.
Blessing
Oh, I like that sort of ability to get verticality there. Okay. So she marks an enemy and that probably take give makes them weaker. Right.
Snowbike Mike
Or that auto aim right there.
Blessing
Oh yeah, you're right.
Snowbike Mike
Somebody that get the auto aim.
Blessing
She shoots out a little drone that's similar to Falcon from Cap or you know now known as Captain America.
Andy Cortez
Yeah.
Blessing
Shoots out his little like drone that's a bird and can grapple up to it. Yeah, there's that auto aim ability. Now what's the ultimate looking like? Okay, she has a grenade. Grenade sort of shoots out a wave of energy.
Snowbike Mike
Is that the ultimate eyes on the sky?
Blessing
Let's see. Oh, okay. So it's a big sort of like drone attack. Have a good one from her bird drone.
Snowbike Mike
Bless your heart. Okay, you got that cat getting some love.
Blessing
I want to play as her always climb. Her gun looks sick as hell.
Snowbike Mike
She reminds me of season two summit.
Blessing
She reminds me Mike of from metal gear solid 2. Who's got the railgun?
Snowbike Mike
You have virtual champ. And then virtue. No, fortune.
Blessing
Fortune. Thank you, Kevin. Thank you, Mike. Yeah, she reminds me of fortune quite a bit.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, I mean that. That was some good looking gameplay right there. Fun already adding another hero. We talked about it when I went down there.
Blessing
Right.
Snowbike Mike
What was the goal? 10 new heroes. They started off with five and then we have more coming so. Yeah, it's gonna be a jam packed year. If you're into Overwatch.
Blessing
Yeah, they. That image that they released with all of the kind of 2D drawn lineup they're slowly revealing all of them. The rest of them are still silhouetted out but this is the brand new hero that will be joining the roster back end pretty. Oh, of course. Yeah. I mean I. I never. I never left. It's just things, you know, take priority.
Snowbike Mike
I mean I've just been noticing I've been solo tilt queuing a lot without you know, a lot of solo. Til noticing I'm alone a lot.
Blessing
Well, how about you call me? I'm tired of calling you.
Snowbike Mike
I'm just on the late night just grinding.
Blessing
I. Will you call me from now on.
Snowbike Mike
I went from I was scratching gold to now I'm in bronze.
Blessing
That was a rough night for you. Yeah. For you to be like I am bronze three. Like what happened? How did this happen?
Snowbike Mike
Lost it all.
Blessing
It's similar, like, it's like if you go to veg, your friend just shows up and goes, I've. It's all gone.
Snowbike Mike
Show up night one. I'm like, I have $5,000 instead. I've lost it all.
Blessing
Yeah, I'm. I'm $8,000 in debt. How about you call me from now on? Chad, can we make this a. Can we make this a thing now? Mike calls me whenever we want to game.
Snowbike Mike
How do we make it a pizza bet?
Blessing
You call or text me.
Snowbike Mike
How do we make it a pizza bet?
Blessing
I just have to like, I just have to bet you that you won't do it, that you're not like smart enough or strong enough to do it.
Snowbike Mike
By June 15th, I call you to game four times. That's once every two weeks.
Blessing
You call me as much as you want. I. I'm down to game multiplayer stuff with you. You heard.
Andy Cortez
You.
Blessing
You already hear chat.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
You want to golf game anymore?
Snowbike Mike
I want to go golfing.
Blessing
I don't want to game anymore.
Snowbike Mike
I want to go golf. I wanna. I wanna be outside on Sunday morning golfing with you. IRL streaming.
Blessing
Where's Gary with.
Snowbike Mike
I can get a hold of him.
Blessing
Hit him up. Gary with him.
Snowbike Mike
Okay, let's jump into the news.
Blessing
Let's do it. Everybody, Everybody. For now, let's begin with what is and forever will be the Roper Report. It's time for some news. We have seven stories today. Story number one, a lot of stories. A new Borderlands game just launched. This comes from Zach Zweizen at Kotaku2k just launched a new Borderlands game. But before you get too excited, this is a Borderlands 5 or a Wonderland sequel. Nope. Instead it's Borderlands Mobile, a mission based looter shooter developed exclusively for phones that is free and out now on iOS as spotted by deals guru Wario 64. Borderlands Mobile is out now and available to download for free on the App Store. It is currently only available on iOS devices and it seems to be built primarily for the iPhone. I played Borderlands Mobile on my iPad and had to use the full screen button to fill the screen, indicating that it isn't really built for bigger screens. As far as I could tell, there wasn't any teasing for this game from 2k or gearbox. Couldn't even find a trailer. The official Borderlands account on Twitter as of April 9th at around 11am Eastern Standard Time has yet to post about it either. Borderlands Mobile also, you do. This is how you get into the Marketing right there. Borderlands Mobile also seems unfinished at the moment. I could only pick the siren character and couldn't customize her at all. Did somebody accidentally hit the button to go live? What happened here?
Snowbike Mike
I bet you this is one of those. I bet you there's another team making this. Like this is probably a team out in like Korea making this. And no, maybe we just lost the email chain of like, hey, today's the day, everybody. Let's promote it over here.
Blessing
Yeah, Daylight savings time habit. Who knows? The final sentence of the article says the opening intro video seems to imply that this is set after the events of Borderlands 3, but likely before Borderlands 4. This is a weird one to kind of come out of nowhere. I had no idea what you were doing this morning, but I heard a lot of noises coming from your phone and blessing ass. Oh, you're playing it right now and it's fully. I guess it's available just on iPhone and you played it on your old ass eight generation old phone.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. So when I was reading this new story, got in early enough to have some extra time and so I went onto my Google search, I actually went to the app store and typed in Borderlands Mobile. Let me tell you what doesn't even pop up as one of the searches. I had to actually go to the WARIO tweets to then get linked and go through that to be able to download this game. So if you search Borderlands Mobile on your iPhone app, you know the iPhone app store, it doesn't even pop up. I got PUBG Mobile before anything of this right? Of this nature. So I did get it downloaded. I played about 10 minutes of it. You are seeing my gameplay right now live on your screen.
Blessing
Damn that.
Snowbike Mike
This is what it looks like.
Blessing
Your phone's powerful, Mike.
Snowbike Mike
Hey, I got you right away. Yeah, it's Borderlands, right? It's Borderlands on your phone. It is not as bad as you think. Of course I don't think it's anything groundbreaking or stop the presses, but it was very much of like I'm moving with my right thumb on or my left thumb on the screen where I can move forward, back, left to right and then the right thumb is aiming the reticle right there in the middle. And as long as you just hover over an enemy, it will auto shoot for you. So there was no shoot button there. You can see I have a jump there. They added in an ads when I got this assault rifle. You can see there's a reload and weapon switch button as well, so I'm sure they'll add my player abilities. But like the article said, Four heroes promoted. It does look like it's after Borderlands 3, because they were talking about the Calypso Twins and then they went right into it. And the four heroes look very similar to the four heroes of Borderlands 3. I don't know. I don't really remember the four heroes of Borderlands 3 if they're the same, but I can tell you they looked almost identical to what I would imagine.
Blessing
Robot.
Snowbike Mike
There was the guy with the robot giant arms. There was the cyborg samurai. There was the siren, and then there was one other one. So I think those are pretty close to what it is.
Blessing
Okay, we're looking here. Developer is Zynga.
Snowbike Mike
Hey.
Blessing
And a lot of people are pointing out the information they're requiring for the download. The data linked to you. The following data may be collected and linked to your identity, location, user content, usage data, contact info. Maybe delete that off your phone. We just. You want to be safe, Mike. I don't know.
Snowbike Mike
They got my info.
Blessing
Now it's too late.
Snowbike Mike
They know where they're tracking.
Blessing
It might be too late. They're like, this guy's phone is too old. It's hard to look into. Yeah, this was just kind of a. A, A random thing that kind of happened on a Thursday morning where we have no idea why or who or what the marketing is or what the rollout for this even was supposed to be. I don't even know who found this.
Snowbike Mike
I mean, shout out to Wario for finding this and putting this on. But, yeah, I don't. For me, I'm just not a mobile gamer, Andy. I don't have many mobile gamers in my life, so I'll always ask the question of, like, who's playing this? Who's asking for Borderlands Mobile? But when I play it, it's like, yeah, this Borderlands on my phone, it's not bad at all by any means. So if, I guess if this was your thing. Here you go.
Blessing
Yeah, it's. I've always felt the same way about mobile games, Mike. And, you know, the. The narrative has gone on for a long time whenever it comes to mobile games and whenever it comes to the. The gamers like us that maybe sometimes, you know, turn our nose away from the mobile game. And whenever you see a game happen in a presentation or something and it says coming to PlayStation and iOS and you go, ah, fuck that. It's just a mobile game or whatever, there are people that obviously play the shit out of mobile games. The mobile games are massive in markets like South Korea and in China. And I.
Snowbike Mike
It.
Blessing
It's one of those things where I guess for me the mobile experience needs to be more of a passive, temporary thing rather than a I am trying to progress on my character that I care about a lot on this phone. It needs to. For me, it's more of a I have a break or I'm in a doctor's office waiting. You know, like, I've never looked at mobile games like this to really necessarily grab me in a permanent fashion, but.
Snowbike Mike
Well, let me tell you a positive about Borderlands Mob.
Blessing
Maybe this is the one.
Snowbike Mike
Borderlands Mobile is mission based, as you read before. And so the first mission, the tutorial was about two minutes maximum. This one, you see me collide with the boss early. I think these missions are very short. This is not him in the open World of Borderlands 4 or the Borderlands that I'm used to on console. It was like, hey, here's a small mission. Do it, earn some guns, come back, look at your loadout and then jump back into another mission. So it seems to be a short on the go experience for sure.
Blessing
Yeah, just. It's going to be fascinating. It's going to be fascinating to see what people think about this and how quickly it gets shuttered. Like, that's immediately where my brain goes.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing
You know, to not have any marketing for this. This kind of just feels like an accident for, you know, Zach Zweizen on. On Kotaku. Mentioning the game just feels largely unfinished as well. This. This doesn't feel like it was supposed to actually get released. I don't know. It's very, very odd.
Snowbike Mike
You know, the odd one is we're living in such a world with early access, you know what I mean? It's. It's hard for me. We'd have to play a bunch like Zach probably did of like. Yeah, it is odd that there was only one character out of the four unlockable and playable at that time, but I've played so many early access games that are just slow rolling. Thinking about Skate, you know what I mean? Yeah, man, I was all in on that. So who knows what their rollout plan is.
Blessing
Well, let's double check the.
Snowbike Mike
Someone says Paul Tassie might have a word from them.
Blessing
Let's double check the official Borderlands Twitter account, just to check. And there's still nothing there. The last thing they Tweeted out was April 6th. Oh, so still nothing there from the official Borderlands account, which is kind of shocking. What's Paul up to? Is Paul saying anything about it? Were people saying that Paul said anything about it?
Snowbike Mike
Someone said that.
Blessing
Okay, let's check it out. Let me go to Paul Tassi's Twitter account and it's taking me forever to spell his name correctly. Why? I don't really know. There it is. Paul Tassi. Paul Tassi types in and mentions that 2k says surprise borderlands Mobile launch game isn't an accident with an excerpt here says update. I just heard back from a 2K spokesperson who confirms this is a regional test and the game does does not eventually or does not even actually have a name yet. Quote we are always exploring ways to introduce Borderlands to new audiences. Zynga's Natural Motion Studio is currently conducting a limited time test for an untitled Borderlands Mobile project, with Gearbox providing creative guidance on the franchise's design, history and lore. We hope the players enjoy this new Borderlands experience and look forward to their feedback.
Snowbike Mike
Pack it up. Hey, there it is. Pack it up. Hold up.
Blessing
It's a test. Mike.
Snowbike Mike
Hold up. It was a test that maybe we put out a tweet a little too early for you.
Blessing
It's all, it's, it's all just a test. But. But yeah, apparently it launching not an accident. And again, this is all from Shout out to Paul Tassey for reaching out to to 2K spokesperson and getting some more information on this because it says the game is free, launches with a single character, though three other characters are previewed. The game takes place between three and four and its canon status is unclear given that people are say 30 minutes in at this point.
Snowbike Mike
There we go.
Blessing
Game features a whole lot of reused assets from current games, but avid Borderlands players are already noting that it features a lot of things that players have asked for from the main series, namely launching with endgame activities like Raids and Circle of Slaughter. It also has gameplay features like weapon upgrading and scrapping and mod slotting. It of course has a battle pass and will be will have to be sustained on microtransactions, but with a soft launch it's not clear how much of the total will be live. This appears to be purely a Zynga product with little Gearbox involvement. This entirely remind this entire thing reminds me of Destiny Rising, a game made almost entirely independently of Bungie by NetEase and launching with a lot of features Destiny fans have been asking for. However, that game was at least announced way in advance and eventually was marketed. Shout out to Paul Tassey for the write up over@forbes.com. okay, interesting one chat. Let us know in the super chats whether you plan on checking out this little regional test, I guess what it's
Snowbike Mike
called, or if you're interested in Borderlands Mobile is right. Yeah.
Blessing
I also don't even know like what regions. Like maybe it's.
Snowbike Mike
I mean, I guess I'm in.
Blessing
Yeah, Mike's in.
Snowbike Mike
I'm not messing around with my phone.
Blessing
With these regions. What will it take for us to get a stream going? Chat where me and Mike go to a Verizon store and get him a new phone.
Snowbike Mike
Let's just check. Does anyone work at Verizon? Does anyone have a homie, a loved one, a family member that works at a Verizon store? And we'll come to you.
Blessing
Yeah, we'll go to you. Unless you, unless you decide to bring it to us. Maybe you bring us up. Maybe you activated here. That'd be. That could be pretty neat. Yel Singh with a two dollar super chat says side tangent. Andy, did you sell your Ayn Thor? No, but I have a, I have a couple of buyers.
Snowbike Mike
Boy, what's this?
Blessing
Have a couple buyers.
Snowbike Mike
What is it selling?
Blessing
My, my handheld emulator device.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
Bought one, didn't like the color, didn't like the way it looked IRL and was like, this is gonna be, it's gonna be a pain in the ass trying to return this to China. So I'll just sell it. Initially I was going to do a giveaway. I was like, Andy, don't be stupid. You spend a lot of money on this shit. Just don't take a bath on it. Get, you know, sell it for like a good discount. But you know, it's just, it was really expensive. And then I bought the black one and the black one came in.
Snowbike Mike
And you're happy with it?
Blessing
I love it. Oh, I love it. Love it. That's where I'll be playing Castlevania Symphony the night.
Snowbike Mike
Does this look like the 3Ds thing? Is that what this. Yes, clamshell. 3Ds essentially.
Blessing
Yeah. This is the one that when I first showed it to bless, I was playing a Vatividya Elden Ring Lore video on top and I was playing Link to the Past on the bottom screen. And then you can independently say like I want the top thing to have more volume or I want the bottom screen to have more volume or less volume.
Snowbike Mike
Can we make that my phone?
Blessing
Possibly, possibly you opening up a. Hello gigantic thing. We have AK Dot shout out to Asin with a five dollar Super Chat says there's more where this came from. If we get more deadlock streams, we can definitely get more deadlock information. And again, shout out to the people that noticed that Valve took over the deadlock Twitter account. That's huge. Okay, that's big. That means it's imminent, everybody. Story number two, despite good reviews, the first Berserker Kazan development team reportedly dissolved over disappointing sales. This comes from Austin Wood at Games Radar. The Neople development staff behind the RP Action rpg the first Berserker Kazan have reportedly been reassigned under parent company Nexon following disappointing sales for the game, effectively splitting up the team. On April 8, report from Korean outlet Yonhap News citing a statement from Nexon official says personnel have been moved to other projects that will benefit from their experience. Neople apparently claimed this doesn't represent the dissolution of the Kazan team, but the future of the game, which was updated as recently of March as March 31 is murky. In its recent March 31 capital markets briefing, comments from Nexon CEO Jung Hoon Lee suggested the first berserker Kazan was a touchstone for broader plans to bring the Dungeon and Fighter, the long running series whose lore the game borrows to a global audience and in new forms. And if you're not aware audience the Dungeon and Fighters DNF and they have a fighting game series called DNF Duel and so this was part of that universe. To continue the article, this is a quote from Lee who says the first game in the series, the first, First Berserker Kazan was released in 2025 and delivered a hardcore action experience tailored specifically to western audiences. Lee said Kazan demonstrated that that Dungeon and Fighter can travel. We are now preparing for its China launch which will further validate its long term potential. Complications with the delayed China release of Kazan are actually mentioned by Yonhap News as one factor in its sales struggles. Elsewhere in the briefing, Kazan is mentioned as part of the publishing agreements with Tencent to bring high potential Nexon games like the Finals, Arc Raiders and the first Berserker Kazan to millions of new players in China. Kind of a bummer. Yeah that we didn't see that. They were not able to see the success that I think frankly the game deserved. Now I think I was a little too hard on this game, okay. For being the equivalent of, you know, when people complain about games like the division or Destiny and enemies are just bullet sponges. Kazan kind of gave me a lot of those vibes. However, Kazan had so much sauce. What we're seeing right now on the screen was one of my favorite boss fights in the game. I never fully finished it. I feel like now I kind of owe it to the game to at least do the final two bosses. I was right there at the final two bosses, and I just kind of lost momentum with it. But first, Berserker Kazan, first off, could have used a lot more Ben Starr. Not nearly utilized enough, but the game had amazing boss fights with awesome action and a phenomenal art style. But this is kind of a bummer, Mike. You hate to see this from a game that, you know, was widely loved by a lot of people.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, I remember when this came out. It didn't set the world on fire, but it was more positive than negative in my mind. Right. And I think that's a tough one when you get compared to Dark Souls and the. So the Souls franchise, right? It's like, then you get poured into the souls born, like, right? And then you get in this conversation of, like, well, is it good enough? Should I play this? Right? And a lot of these games are good enough. They do deserve your time. And if you gave them a chance, you might fall in love with a lot of these other franchises that are like, the one that you love. But it does get tough when you kind of get into that murky territory of, well, it's not as good as this, right? It's like, oh, then should I be spending my time on this? But from everything I remember you and Blessing and just the world playing, I don't remember it being that negative. But of course, sales are tough, right? The question is, with the expectations correctly set, were they met? What are the sales numbers? I've been looking it up. I haven't found anything concrete. When I go to Sensor Towers, SensorTower.com, they have it currently at 690,000 sold. I go to another website, Game Analytic, and they have it sold at 540, 700,000.
Blessing
So it's like, is that Steam? Only because I. I could have sworn that they said it was around like 1.5 mil or something.
Snowbike Mike
That's why I. I don't have a number here when I. When I search for it. So I don't know where it ended on all of this. Did it surpass a million copies sold? I don't know. I feel like I would have saw an image pop up right away when I type in that. Usually those are like the first ones.
Blessing
Yeah, that's. That's. That's a massive bummer. I think the game is. I think it's a very solid Action rpg. Like, I think it's a lot of fun. It has kind of everything you'd want from. From one of these sort of action RPG or Souls likes or whatever you want to call them. I think it was severely lacking in what it was trying to do. Story. Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
Wise.
Blessing
And that's why I. I've always been of the. I've. I've always been of the mind that if you don't got what it takes narrative wise, then just give us like the most sort of vague storytelling possible. Give us like, just give us like almost no dialogue. Just have a cool boss walk in and just say some.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing
And I. I would enjoy that more than talking to NPCs for a while and just not really caring about what you're saying or the writing or the dialogue and all that stuff. But that being like that aside, I think the action in this game is amazing and the weapons feel great. The. You have three. A choice of three different weapons. It did kind of give you.
Snowbike Mike
It did.
Blessing
It did kind of do what. What the team ninja games do or, you know, platinum games or whatever. When I talk about Neo and Rise of the Ronin, it. It has that sort of loot slop where you're getting just a ton of stuff that you're constantly having to change out and infuse gems into this and break down. And then like, there's a lot of that in the gameplay and that was kind of annoying. But once you get back into the action. I thought the boss fights were super awesome.
Snowbike Mike
So there's the boss fights. What carry.
Blessing
Right.
Snowbike Mike
We talk about lies.
Blessing
Yes.
Snowbike Mike
When we talk about like being compared to. Right. You're like, Liza P has that sweet counter mechanic.
Blessing
Right.
Snowbike Mike
And like breaking down the enemy's weapon is always exhilarating and exciting. Right. What is Liza Ps X Factor or 1st 1st Berserker Kazan's X Factor. That takes it over the top to say, hey, you should be playing this.
Blessing
I mean, you're there for the combat. The combat's amazing. But the art style is also really damn good. I love that it's this sort of anime art style, cell shaded sort of look that when if you don't have the skills or the studio or the budget to try to go for a super realistic visual look and you do something else stylistically that looks awesome as hell, then. Hell yeah. Like, I will always applaud that. I will always applaud that. As opposed to like, you know, having a semi realistic look with just really bad art direction. This game kicked ass art direction wise. Yeah, it's a bummer that it hopefully at the end of this article it mentions that they are hoping to release in China and I hope that that does happen and maybe boost the sales. But it's not great that the whole team kind of gets told, all right, we're breaking this team up, we're not making another one. Go on, go off into other spaces in Nexon. And that, yeah, that is kind of a bummer. Okay, that's sad to hear. But you know what isn't sad to hear? The fact that our amazing sponsors continue to help fund this company. We're a small 11 person business is the word I was looking for. And if you have Patreon, you could be listening or watching ad free right now. But since you're watching live, you'll have to hear a word from our sponsors.

Hey, sweetie. Your mother showed me this Carvana thing for selling the car. I'm gonna give it a try. Wish me luck. Me again. I put in the license plate. It gave me an offer. Unbelievable. Okay, I accepted the offer. They're picking it up Tuesday from the driveway. I haven't even left my chair. It's done. The car is gone. I'm holding a check anyway. Carvana, give it a whirl. Love ya.

We have a very generous super chat here from David Flores, who says, Mikey, loving your Zelda streams. Please at least play up to Twilight Princess after. I recommend reading the Ocarina Majora and Twilight Princess manga. They are pretty fun and flesh out things.
Snowbike Mike
Andy, I turn to you because you're my gamer guy. You've played them all. You've seen them all.
Blessing
We talking about the Zelda games I'm talking about?
Snowbike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing
Okay.
Snowbike Mike
Games in general. Really? My gamer guy. My number one. Okay. 1.1. My best friend.
Blessing
That's not. I mean, you don't act like it.
Snowbike Mike
What should I do after this?
Blessing
Right?
Snowbike Mike
I am having so much fun with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Right? There was conversation. They were. They were playing games on the. On the SNES and the Nest. You know what I mean?
Blessing
What do you mean, what?
Snowbike Mike
There was like a 2D Zelda way before the games that I'm playing. Oh, you know what I mean.
Blessing
Are you saying, like Legend speaks of? Apparently. Apparently people would write letters to each other back in the day.
Snowbike Mike
Page this in games from Zelda. So do I go back in time and play the originals? Do I check out some two Ds? Do I do this Twilight Princess people be typing in Wind Waker. I don't really know where to go after this Zelda craze.
Blessing
Okay, so.
Snowbike Mike
Or yeah, I don't know.
Blessing
So my. My pass with Zelda is definitely more spotty as well. Like, I have a pretty spotty pass. With Zelda.
Snowbike Mike
Where did you start? Tell me.
Blessing
The NES one was like, my first one that was like, oh, this is like, crazy. And then Link to the Past was really the one that, like, oh, my God, I love this video game. I love this world. I love this character. It's what got me into, like, wanting to make video games. As early as I was, where I was like, I would look at the hyrule map and I would draw my own map and make my own little pois and be like, oh, I could do this and I'll have a little ice zone up here. And then Ocarina of Time came around. I was like, holy. This is the most mind blowing thing ever.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
And with the way my brain works, though, I have memory wiped so much of it that, like, I know all I could. I could sing along to every goddang song. I just. I don't remember a whole lot of what happened to the game, but I know that it made me feel great and amazing.
Snowbike Mike
Well, there's a lot of them, right?
Blessing
And then we get into the dead period. We get into, like, the. The period where I just wasn't gaming like that. I didn't have those consoles. So, like, Wind Waker was a game that I watched my aunt play a couple times, and I never played it. But then Twilight Princess, I think I rented that at one point when I was.
Snowbike Mike
That one's got a cat with a mask.
Blessing
It's got a little cat with a mask. Yeah, I believe so. Kind of floats around maybe. And then Skyward Sword didn't play it, so I don't know about any of those.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
I know that people love the dungeons in Twilight Princess. Mike. People say that the dungeons in Twilight Princess. And you can ask Baird Courtney, this, who is like the aficionado who says, like, the dungeons in Twilight Princess are the most goated ever. It's just the rest of the game doesn't necessarily live up to the dungeons, which is like, if you could deal with that, I think you should be fine.
Snowbike Mike
I mean, the dungeons are a big deal of Zelda.
Blessing
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
But outside the dungeons, that's where the lore is told.
Blessing
That's where the lore is told. What you know about Tingle Tingle tingle.
Snowbike Mike
Man, he's just trying to make his dad happy.
Blessing
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
Because he wants to be a force fairy. And at the age of 35 or 41, he thought that the fairies would come to him and make him a forest fairy, but it turns out he might not got it like that.
Blessing
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
And his dad's like, you got to get a job. And so he's selling his dad's maps to help his business and help his family while being like, hey, grow up. But he doesn't want to grow up.
Blessing
Yeah, right.
Snowbike Mike
It's almost like me.
Blessing
I was about to say.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, no prospects. I was about to say, what are you doing in life?
Blessing
I mean, you're making people smile is what you're doing.
Snowbike Mike
I'm trying my best.
Blessing
What you know about that? Bolero of Fire.
Snowbike Mike
What you know about that Bolero fires that. What? Chapel Roan gave me the power of magic.
Blessing
I believe so, yeah. I mean, well, that's the name of the fire song.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. She got my magic bar up. We'll talk more, Zelda. I promise tomorrow, and we'll talk about what's next for Snowbike. Mike Lucid Dream writes in with a super chat and says, I just need to know is what is preventing Mike from ordering a new phone online in, like, two minutes from Verizon site, they'll mail it to him.
Blessing
Lucid Dream.
Snowbike Mike
One, I didn't know they did that. Two.
Blessing
God.
Snowbike Mike
Two. God. I come from a day and age where you had to go to the Verizon store. He would have to plug the phone into the machine to download all your photos and videos. Then he would take your new phone, plug it in the machine, upload all of them.
Blessing
Lucid Dream, thank you for the super chat. You have to understand that when me, Blessing and Mike are going to LA to play the late game recipes, High Guard. We're in an Uber, heading to la, heading to the airport at sfo. Blessings in the front seat, Mike is looking at Blessing. Use his phone. And Bless is texting somebody. And Bless is doing this. And Mike goes, look at Blessing. He's drawing on his keyboard and, like, typing shit out. What the hell's he doing? How are you doing that? And I was like, what do you mean? Yeah, he's like, draw his. He's tracing letters on his keyboard. I said, mike, that's like swipe texting because. Yeah, what's that? So that's. That's first off. That's.
Snowbike Mike
Honest to God, still my. My mind is still blown. Intimidated by all hell to that. I don't think I'll ever do that.
Blessing
So swipe texting Mike, when I worked at Best Buy is when it was a first to think Swipe Taxi was like a separate keyboard app that you downloaded. Oh, and we're talking about when I worked at best buy for six years. This must have been, I would say, like 2010.
Snowbike Mike
2010, yeah.
Blessing
So around 2010. Yeah. And then, anyway, so we discovered Mike learned what swipe texting is. And then later on that night when we were in LA with one Christopher Anka, we go get froyo and Mike goes, Never had froyo before. A little scared, a little intimidated.
Snowbike Mike
It's a new thing. I'm opening up, I'm trying new things. It's interesting because you say 2010, it's like, was I still rocking a chocolate?
Blessing
The LG chocolate?
Snowbike Mike
I don't even remember when I got my first iPhone. I feel like I might add it because all through high school, I had the chocolate.
Blessing
That was when the. That was when touch screens, Mike, were pressure sensitive, when you had to like push hard on them. And it wasn't just like fingerprint, kind of like capacitive touch. It was a pressure. Those are the worst.
Snowbike Mike
And it's crazy that, like, to me, when you talk about cell phone texting, it is either the T9 when you press the button a bunch of times to get to the letter, or it's the new keyboard here. Now they got voice texting too, where I can just read. I can talk to it now.
Blessing
Yeah, you just introduced it.
Snowbike Mike
That's huge to me. Yeah, but it still misses a couple of words every now and then. Ah, now I gotta. I gotta type on this like.
Blessing
Or maybe it's getting words right, but that you didn't know existed. That you didn't know existed. Remember? TE9 though. I was the best, though. T9 texting while driving.
Snowbike Mike
You were T9 texting while driving.
Blessing
Because I wouldn't have to look at my phone. I. I would be driving one hand on the wheel, full concentration there under my.
Snowbike Mike
I don't know if you can be admitted to that.
Blessing
Hand, hand down here. M just going. And like, I wouldn't have to look at my phone once. I was a master at how do
Snowbike Mike
we get phones out of people's hands while driving. There I was last night driving home, guy in front of me, he's got his seat all the way cranked forward. It's like, okay, dude, that's uncomfortable looking. And he's got his phone like this up in his mouth, and he's going 10 miles an hour underneath the speed limit, about to enter a highway. It's like, homie, what do I need to do to you? How can I help you? Get this phone out of your face. Put two hands on the wheel.
Blessing
I always think about Mike. That's a great point you bring up. This is a great episode of Games Daily, by the way, I. I always think about Mike, about how much traffic has been affected and how people are more and more delayed to get where they need to go. And I would love to see studies and charts because of the amount of times that somebody's looking at their phone at a red light.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing
And just if you were to like cumulatively add all of that up, the amount of time of like, you know, somebody looked was looking at the phone for five seconds and that adds up to the person three cars behind them looking at their phone for four seconds before they hit the gas button. I wonder, like, just how much that adds up. This is a great episode of Games Daily, by the way. Guys, let's get to the next story, everybody. Story number three. Xbox Achievements are getting an update. This comes from Xbox Wire. Starting today, select Xbox Insiders can begin testing improvements to achievements that make it easier to celebrate your accomplishments and curate how they appear on your profile. These features will roll out to more insiders over time, with broader availability coming to all players. We're excited to hear what you think and we'll keep bringing more to you and we'll keep bringing you more of these features you've been asking for. We've refreshed achievement notifications with a new look and feel, including updated icons and animations. When you unlock classic or rare achievements, notifications will also match your custom color, making each unlock feel more personal. Happy Achievement Hunting Coming later this month, you'll be able to hide any game from your achievement history on your profile, giving you more control over how your accomplishments are pro are presented. When you've earned all available gamer score for a title, you'll now see it highlighted in your achievements list so your hard work is easy to spot. This gives you a quick at a glance way to celebrate full completion. We've also added new filter options to this view, making it easier to find your fully completed games alongside any titles you've chosen to hide. Mike, does this excite you at all? And do you remember the last time we got an Update to update 2 achievements?
Snowbike Mike
No. This is a this pretty big deal if you are a hardcore achievement hunter or if you're in the achievement.
Blessing
Let's play Ray. We love Ray.
Snowbike Mike
Is that what he yelled?
Blessing
Yeah, that was the thing he would yell before the before.
Snowbike Mike
Let's play.
Blessing
Can you show me some of the videos that they made?
Snowbike Mike
I never watched them.
Blessing
You never watched achievement, huh? You finally learned about the game Grumps
Snowbike Mike
and I've heard you yell at Ray to yell let's play, but I didn't know what was happening.
Blessing
Yeah, you just laughed along and nodded.
Snowbike Mike
Here we go. We'll look into it. Yes. For the achievement hunters, the Die hard Xbox fans who are really in tune with the achievement community, this is something they've wanted. They continue to say, hey, achievements matter. We want you to do this. The problem is, one, it doesn't make money, so it's not high on the priority list. It isn't all that flashy. Two, the common fan, right? But there is something about being rewarded for the time that you put into games. If you listen to how we would fix Xbox, I had a whole achievement section of like, hey, we got to give back to the fans. We got to tell them, you spending your time and effort in this. We got to somehow reward you. Right? And achievements is an easy, free way to do that, right? Oh, a little dopamine hit. Something pops up on the screen. You do that right? And I really like what they did. Right. I like the refreshed look of what's going on here. I really dig the 100 now being highlighted with a nice colorway on your list of achievements.
Blessing
Right.
Snowbike Mike
I do think you got to find a way to pop that out. And I bet you in the future we'll find a better way of, like, highlighting that. I think filtering is cool, but maybe allowing me to build my own list and have that list go how I want it to transcend down would be really nice of like, hey, these are my games that matter to me. We've talked about it before with Xbox profiles now getting kind of these badges and new looks that maybe in the future would be really great to like what I would do maybe a few hundred percent, let's say Gears of War Reloaded, which is on my screen right now, we make a special little custom badge for you that only the 100 people get. And then you can put that on your profile of your Xbox with the badge that people could see and know. But this is for the Die Hards. This is something that they've been clamoring and asking for for a long time is like, hey, somebody in there has to be tasked on this team to do something. Let's start making that work. And it seems like, hey, they want to do that. They want to hear that and make it better for you. Do I expect major changes? No. Doesn't make money, right? So it's not like a, hey, we got to change this tomorrow. But it's nice to see that they're taking small strides.
Blessing
If I could weigh the Magical game development wand Mike from the. That I stole from the magical game development wizard. I would look at Microsoft and Xbox and say, hey, don't do whatever you guys are making. Set aside like, I don't know, $5 billion for the thing that I want to sort of like push forward.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing
I want to. I want avatars to be brought back in a serious way.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
Because I. Every time I play an old Xbox game with Ray, let's play. Whenever I play a new or an old game, you have to bring up the old virtual sort of Xbox 360 launcher. Right.
Snowbike Mike
That's very cool.
Blessing
And I see my old avatar with my Mass Effect suit on that I unlocked because I played Mass Effect or whatever. And I. It's the same sort of ownership you love about seeing like your little Nintendo me or whatever. And I wish that there was a directive at all Xbox First Party studios that, hey, whatever game you're working on, whatever game you're doing, set aside a little place to have your Xbox avatar. Find a way to include it.
Snowbike Mike
I like that.
Blessing
I just, I. I love the idea of that sort of ownership. It's the same reason why I love Street Pass. Even though I didn't play my 3ds as much as I would have liked, I just like having my little dude interact with other characters out there, with other people that we're finding in the world and customizing and all that stuff. It just, it. It makes it feel like home. It makes it feel like I'm like PlayStation Home.
Snowbike Mike
You know what I mean? That's good.
Blessing
There's. There's something there, man. We got to bring back like the fun.
Snowbike Mike
I think that is the conversation, Andy, of like, what are some small ways of rewarding players? Right. And an Xbox avatar was special back in the 360 days. Buying that and. Or earning those different items were always fun to put on and design and kind of put at the forefront of your profile. Right. We don't have the Xbox avatar. So when I go to the Nitro Rifles profile, I don't see your Xbox avatar dancing around and doing the cool stuff like they used to on the 3 6. Yeah, that's kind of gone. And it goes back to just rewarding players. We've seen some really fun ways to reward players. I always think of Destiny when they had that special raid and if you completed the raid, you could get the special jacket irl. I thought that was one of the coolest ways to give back to your players and be like, hey, if you achieve one of the coolest feats that we have in our game, we want to make sure you have that. Sure, the player had to buy it, but like, I'll never forget being at work and knowing one of the kids who was at the ticket window and he had the jackets.
Blessing
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
He brought it into work and was like, yo, look at this jacket. And that goes back just like I said. How do you reward players for their time? How do you make them feel like, hey, you spending time in our ecosystem, most importantly for Xbox, who is trying to get you to stay right now? Not even to jump. They're just trying to please don't leave right now. It's like, these are the small things. I'll circle back again on the games cast. It's like, like I said, you should start doing coupons, discounts, whatever it is of like, hey, if Andy gets 101000 achieve or 100 achievement score on whatever five games, he gets a $10 discount for this next purchase or something. You got to find ways to reward the players. And yeah, the Xbox avatar is a great one. Andy. Right? That is free. You don't have to give them money. But mind you, we do have to pay 10 people to create Xbox avatars again. Work with each studio to do that. Right.
Blessing
I thought they were coming back in a big way when the Xbox One came out. There was a moment they were.
Snowbike Mike
There was a moment where I was
Blessing
like, oh, we're continuing this.
Snowbike Mike
I love this.
Blessing
I want to see new hairstyles. I want to see the new. You know, and I don't know, there's just. There was always something so cool about taking your me into a game that already existed. And the. I always just kind of wanted more integration of that. You know, I would love if. If there was a way to get me way more back into the Xbox ecosystem of here's my avatar and I have my Xbox app on my phone. And that's like the new Street Pass thing. And we, you know, I say hello at a convention to. I digitally say hello to at a convention. And my little dude's like, hey, I'm from. You know, I just love seeing. I saw like a screen grab of the first time I met everybody from Kind of funny at RTX 2016. And I have this screen grab of when I went to the kind of Funny panel. And it was. I was able to get Greg Street Pass and he was like, I'm Greggy from California. I was like, this is so cool. Like, I just. I just. There's something so neat about that. And I I wish that there was a way to bring that back without, you know, every, every dev or not just developer, every executive going, that doesn't make money for us. We don't give a.
Snowbike Mike
That's the problem is when I turn to you, I'll go to you and be like, that doesn't make money. It's not a seller. And that's the problem that we're having right now with this. But like there is something to be said about that profile. I'm trying to bring mine up really quick.
Blessing
Crown Prince, a great one right here, right? Real quick. But as you pull that up, Crown Prince in the YouTube chat says, Imagine if you saw your Xbox avatar in the Drivatar for Forza games. That would be so cool. Like that would just like, just a silly little do, like out of place or what. I would just love. That's a neat way to kind of implement things like that.
Snowbike Mike
Because right now it's like when you go to your profile, it has friends but also followers, right? And it almost became like there was a moment for Xbox and all of gaming where like Xbox was or like your profile is about to become a social media page, right? We were doing a lot of game capture and sharing. We were putting things up to our profile. Like now all of a sudden, Xbox started calling people who wanted to be your friend but you didn't accept their friend requests. Followers, right? And it was like, that was a moment there where I was like, oh, are we gonna make this like my own little mini Twitter tick tock where I am encouraged to post on here, whether it be a blurb of what I'm playing, whether it be a cool achievement that I have unlocked, whether it be a game, a cool game capture, that's what now when you're getting to it, Andy, if you could rewind time or say, hey, let's try this. It should be your profile with your avatar photo. It should be your avatar next to it. You should have all the badges. Like for me, as someone who's been playing since the start of Xbox Live, right, I want my 15 year, 20 year Xbox Live badge next to my name, right? They've started with these badges, but they don't go for farther enough. But like, like there's some fun ideas here that you could do.
Blessing
Yeah, I don't know, I think it'd be really neat, but at the end
Snowbike Mike
of the day it doesn't make any money. And it is such a small subsect of people that care about this that like at the end, at all of It. It's like none of this matters, but, like, I. Hey, Die Hards, I love that you're all about this. I love that they're trying. And if me and Andy were in charge, we clearly would do more for you. But, yeah, business up top says none of this matters at all.
Blessing
Mike, I'd love for you to go ahead and check your slack right now if you can.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
It would make me really happy assets. Yeah, just I. I tagged you in a slack.
Snowbike Mike
Okay. Yeah.
Blessing
Yeah. All right. Because that was a really, really big slack that I just sent you, Mike. All right. But I'm so tired of all of that big stuff and big news. If I wanted something smaller, say, the tiniest views I needed to know about, where would I go?
Snowbike Mike
Andy, I'd take you to the Wii News Channel where we cover all the small news you need to know about.
Blessing
Thank you, Mike. We news now converted to Wii News. Split Fiction has sold. The Split Fiction studio Hazelight has sold 50 million games so far. This comes from Eddie McCooch at GameSpot. Developer Hazelight announced massive milestone for the three games so far in the 12 years since the company was founded in 2014. A Way Out, It Takes Two and Split Fiction have all combined to sell more than 50 million copies. Split fiction is at 7 million copies sold so far since last year, which is amazing. A way out sold 13 million copies, and it takes two is at 30 million copies.
Snowbike Mike
I love this massive. I love this announcement. I love this tweet because yesterday I showed blessing. The tweet from Gamespot that says Split Fiction, which had double the budget of It Takes Two, has sold one third of the copies so far.
Blessing
Far.
Snowbike Mike
And I looked at blessing, I was like, this is crazy news. But then when like, you put out from the studio's perspective, like, hey, we've hit a massive milestone. It's like, oh, yeah, like, this team is doing very well. Maybe Split Fiction hasn't sold as many as it should right now, or it will continue to grow. But like, 50 million for these three games.
Blessing
50 million is crazy.
Snowbike Mike
Co op adventure game genre. It's crazy.
Blessing
Yeah. I think. I think the actual facts that came out were, you know, there was a couple of people trying to downplay the sales and downplay the success of Split Fiction, which, when you look at the numbers, you know, you're kind of just box score looking at the box score. But if you didn't watch the basketball game, you wouldn't know the defensive impact that Victor Wembanyama has depoy defensive player of the Year. So Split Fiction mics got to the 7 million mark. I think it was three months quicker than it takes two did.
Snowbike Mike
Wow.
Blessing
Which is like still awesome. And It Takes Two also had the benefit of the pandemic and the play with a friend for free and all of that stuff.
Snowbike Mike
And all the awards game of Game of the Year nominations. Yeah, that was reading up on it was like, yeah, It Takes Two got a lot of love and like also had a longer lifespan than Split Fix. So like let's give that some time to go up. But when you look at the numbers here, this is amazing. Good for them. Congratulations.
Blessing
And as I'm playing Mario Galaxy 2 Mike, I'm just like, dude, give me a Mario Haze. Like give me a Mario and Luigi split screen co op experience. Oh my God, it would be amazing.
Snowbike Mike
What you should make that phone call. I mean that's what I'm saying. That would produce.
Blessing
And then, and then Danielle Z, you know, popular chatter, you know, awesome community member was like, no, Luigi, I want to play as Peach. I was like, oh my God, a divorce story. Like It Takes Two. Mario and Peach, they get. They're getting divorced. They gotta stay together for Toad or like the movie. We found out that the. The Toads are canonically Latino. Well, I learned that.
Snowbike Mike
Really?
Blessing
Yeah, I like that. Really, really cool. A lot of Puerto ricanos and Cubanos. 1000 time resist developer proves reveal Sorry, let me just start over. I'm just had a stroke right there. 1000 times resist developer reveals Prove you're human. A new first person adventure that asks you to convince an AI she's not human. This comes from WCCF Tech. Their brand new game was revealed and it's called Prove youe Human, a first person narrative adventure where an AI called Mesa believes she's human. It sunset visitor second project after the award winning 1000 times resist this looks horrifying but awesome and weird. And it's the first project to be published by Black Tabby Publishing Publishing, the brand new publishing arm of the indie developer Black Tabby Games, the studios behind games like Slay the Princess and Scarlet Hollow. This looks wild. This looks cool and weird.
Snowbike Mike
Oh yeah, I love.
Blessing
I mean Sunset Visitor, they've proven that they got the juice when it comes to storytelling. 1000 times this was an amazing experience and this looks to be equally as weird. So shout out to them. This is one that. Yeah, we'll all be kind of waiting for. Rhythm Heaven comes to switch on July 2 from Kotaku, the Godzilla video game developer and publisher best known for its NFT filled third person battle royale game off the grid. I forgot this existed, by the way. But they've been accused by multiple current and former employees of not paying the staff for months and ghosting people trying to get the money they are owed. Which is very concerning, Mike.
Snowbike Mike
Yikes.
Blessing
Because Godzilla also bought Game Informer.
Snowbike Mike
Oh, no way.
Blessing
So I hope that everything's going okay there. I hope that this is just a isolated thing. But yes, I forgot this game studio and video game existed. This is. I believe It's a District 9 I'm playing.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. Neil Blum camp.
Blessing
Neil Blum camp. Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
There we go from the visionary director, Neil Blum.
Blessing
Yeah, I believe that this came out
Snowbike Mike
less than a year ago. This released July 17, 2025, so it has barely hit a year.
Blessing
Yeesh. Wargaming has announced, Mike, that World of Tanks Heat, its new standalone free to play tactical vehicle shooter, will enter closed beta from April 16 through April 20 across PC, Steam Deck, PS5, Xbox Series, and GeForce.
Snowbike Mike
Now, this is the Hero Driven Tank game. So when I've been doing my investigating and I've been clicking on all the buttons to learn about the games, this is going to be their hero tank base.
Blessing
Oh, that's right. We saw this. I remember. So this is like you have the. The healer tank. You have the. The fast quick tank by Aura. You got the tank tank.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. And I will say these games. World of Tanks and World of Warships. Surprisingly okay.
Blessing
Wow.
Snowbike Mike
Surprisingly.
Blessing
All right. Mike's been doing a lot of investigating. Check out all of the videos over all the streams over on YouTube and on Twitch. Karen's free. I said Karen. Karen's free. On the trail. DLC has been announced. Shout out to Karen. I need to get back to this one.
Snowbike Mike
What's the deal with this? Andy? Yeah, you. Would you ever jump back into this?
Blessing
I need to, because I really enjoyed what I was playing and just other stuff came around, but.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
I was really digging the story and I was really digging the mechanics. It's. It is. It's way more than. I would say that a lot of people compared this to, like, oh, this is like the death stranding of climbing.
Snowbike Mike
Yes.
Blessing
I would say it's way more akin to the baby steps of climbing. It's way more precise. The use. You feel the tension, man. Like when. When you start to. You feel the start to rumble and then you see her arms and legs start to tremble and she starts making noises like, oh. And it's like, oh, my God, I'm so scared for her right now. I think it does a great job of making it, you know, getting that tension across. Okay, this is one. I need to get one at all.
Snowbike Mike
So maybe I should put this. I did a lot of Just nuts.
Blessing
Just nut. Right. Remember. Just nut. Hello. Yoshi is out and free to download. I downloaded it. I don't really know what it is still yet to get to the bottom of it. Mortal Kombat 1 has sold over 8 million copies.
Snowbike Mike
If I. And if I wanted to play a fighting game with a cool story campaign. Who has the best campaign?
Blessing
Mortal Kombat.
Snowbike Mike
And I've played all the Mortal Kombat campaigns. I guess. Who has the best campaign story. That's not mortal.
Blessing
Well, you would say. I mean. Bless you. Will tell you. Tekken 8, the most recent one. Tim and Blessing loved the Tekken 8 campaign.
Snowbike Mike
Okay, good enough.
Blessing
I haven't played it, but people are like, that's the one.
Snowbike Mike
I would like to play a fighting game campaign that's got like.
Blessing
So you played all the mks already?
Snowbike Mike
Oh yeah. I play all Mortal Kombat. My fighting game. The old school DC one.
Blessing
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Snowbike Mike
I played those.
Blessing
Okay. Okay.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. I mean I have. I don't remember any of it. So maybe I could go back to those.
Blessing
Yeah, maybe Tekken 8. I would say Tekken 8 probably. And that is for WE News. Everybody get to some super chats and your wrongs and then we'll get the heck out of here and get ready for the games cast which is gonna be us going. Going over our pizza bet we're having a pizza party. Yeah, I'm excited.
Snowbike Mike
We should. We should have filmed this one outside. I'm trying to push Roger to have a whole day of filming outside.
Blessing
That would be neat.
Snowbike Mike
It is a little cloudy today, but
Blessing
like one day it's definitely misty.
Snowbike Mike
We do games daily. We will put the pop up tent outside. We'll get a dad.
Blessing
Oh, that'd be amazing.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. Well I'll sit outside. It's so nice lately.
Blessing
That would be amazing. Look at some super chats and some kind of funny.com forward/your wrongs. Or you could write in what we got wrong. Super chat here from Clawmaster ten dollar super chat says two two XKO announced their roadmap for season one and it's looking like they are nowhere near in danger of closing down. Stages Cosmetics. New Fuse and another character coming.
Snowbike Mike
Did you see this? No, I saw this and I was like oh snap. I thought. I thought this game was in trouble. Like we saw them lay off or like move part of the Team. And I was like, oh, I thought this was having a much worse situation. When I saw this roadmap, I was like, that's a pretty solid road map.
Blessing
High guard had a roadmap as well.
Snowbike Mike
Damn, Andy.
Blessing
They had a full year of roadmap.
Snowbike Mike
That's too soup. It's tough.
Blessing
Terry Huffman with a $5 super chat says birthday tax. Love you guys and been enjoying y' all since October 2024. Nice.
Snowbike Mike
Nice.
Blessing
Well, thanks for joining us recently and becoming a fan. I. What I would love for everybody to do right now, go to the comments and just type in month and year when you started listening to Kind of funny. Maybe the piece of content a lot of people will notice. A lot of people write down, like, oh, when Greg was doing Starfield shit or whatever. You know, there's a lot of really cool stuff. It's always one piece of information. I love finding out. Terry Huffman says, y' all got me back into gaming. I'm going to colonoscopy. Colonoscopy prep.
Snowbike Mike
Get it locked in. Checked a lot of colonoscopies in my life lately, Nick. Like, Roger was prepping for one.
Blessing
Was that real, though?
Snowbike Mike
Maybe I should prep for one.
Blessing
Do you know what you have to do?
Snowbike Mike
I don't know, but I know. Next week, I see the doctor.
Blessing
Whoa.
Snowbike Mike
First time since 18 years old. Holy. Get ready.
Blessing
First time since 18, everybody. I mean, this is gonna be honest with them.
Snowbike Mike
Are you gonna be like, hey, I've
Blessing
been having trouble breathing. There's this weird lump in my chest, and sometimes my leg.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, I'll give them the rundown.
Blessing
You can't lie to them. I have to go with you to keep you honest, dude. Because you will just lie to them. You'll say, everything's fine.
Snowbike Mike
Remember when I came out of the eye doctor, she said, light prescription. You're good. You're solid.
Blessing
I've seen the way you react to having good vision, and it's just. It's. It's like when kids, like, use the colorblind glasses. They're like, oh, my God. And they, like, cry and get ready next week.
Snowbike Mike
Big deal.
Blessing
We need someone to go with you because you won't lie to them. You're gonna say, everything's fine.
Snowbike Mike
It's like when you used to smoke pot way back in the day. The diet be like, you're smoking. You're like, no, I'm not smoking.
Blessing
Not smoking.
Snowbike Mike
Never smoked in my life.
Blessing
Nah. Savvy. Never smoke at all. John Van Pelt says, I miss my Xbox avatar driving Around a little massive ek. Mako. Yeah, dude, it was so cute.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, I was riding a unicorn. It was pretty sick.
Blessing
John Warrener says, imagine using your Xbox avatar as a vtuber avatar when you stream on Twitch. That'd be awesome. Let's do more of that.
Snowbike Mike
That's a lot of fun. I like that a lot.
Blessing
Nightlife with a $5 super chat says shockwave Traffic is the term used for describing small slowdowns resulting in traffic. Research was done by Japan. If you see people talking, hunk. If you see people.
Snowbike Mike
Oh.
Blessing
If you see people talking, comma, honk.
Snowbike Mike
See, I worry.
Blessing
I thought you were saying, like, if you see people talking, honk, you know,
Snowbike Mike
because if I honk at that guy, I'm gonna shake his life up and he might bang into something. You know what I mean?
Blessing
You think so?
Snowbike Mike
He's already barely getting by in his nice Tesla.
Blessing
How do you know that you're doing him? Oh, I've been looking at it. I've been stalking him for the past two weeks. Let's get to some kind of funny.com forward/your wrongs and then we'll get the heck out of here. Blanket Fort says today is April 9th. And he said March. Did I say that again? I said it incorrectly last time because that's how it was written April 9th. Oh, it's written incorrectly here still. Yeah, it is. It is April, you're right. Let's see here the missed we news from kebabs. This is a good one. I do like this. That ign. Tom Phillips at IGN reports that Pokemon Championship with a bug that prevents the game from outputting in 4k on switch 2 unless you undock and redock the console. So if you dock it, it's gonna look really crappy. And then you have to like, undock and redock in order to like fix the thing and it outputs in in the higher resolution. Andy, I've updated template so now it says April. Man, you're the guy. You're the guy, son. Lee boy says, hey, Andy and Mike, I had heard that you had referenced Deadlock would become sooner rather than later. With the official Twitter being attained, a lot of content creators in the community are looking at 2027 to even 2028 for release.
Snowbike Mike
2027, 2028 me.
Blessing
That.
Snowbike Mike
That's a long time.
Blessing
That's way too long. It was Mike's game of the.
Snowbike Mike
Exactly. Just so you know, two years ago, we've already spent a lot of time in this game. I don't know. Can't wait for release in 2028. That's crazy.
Blessing
That's a long ways away, Mike. I'm. I am at 177 hours in deadlock.
Snowbike Mike
Wow, that's a lot. Is there a ranked system yet in that? That's what I'm really looking for is I want to grind ranked with you and the guys.
Blessing
I don't know, is there a ranked system?
Snowbike Mike
Because when we jump in, it still feels like there's only one play. Now, mind you, they added the other game mode, but I'm not seeing a hey, this is ranked. And, like, there's a logo next to your name to show you what's ranked.
Blessing
Or Android Sleep says, no, it's releasing soon. But then I have seen people saying, like, I'm ranked or whatever. Deadlock is only ranked. Every Deadlock game is ranked. Go to your character. Oh, you have to go to your stats to see. I'm going to open up Deadlock right now. Mike.
Snowbike Mike
You.
Blessing
You read some more super chats. I want to see what my rank is.
Snowbike Mike
A lot of you super chatted away about the Zelda experience, and yes, I'm gonna save those super chats for tomorrow. We will be talking about Zelda Ocarina of Time as a group. My first experience with it. And then we'll be talking about, like, what's next is, of course, as I play Majora's Mask right now, people saying, I'm tearing this up. I'm doing one dungeon a night, essentially, is where I'm at. I don't know how much I have in this game, but I. I'm. I'm ripping it up. I'm having a blast.
Blessing
Majora's Mask is much shorter, if I remember correctly.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, I think they said it's much shorter, but there's a lot of side content that you can do. So they're encouraging me to, like, spend some time doing some side content. I got to become a mailman. The mayor's son and his wife. The mayor and his wife, their son went missing maybe 30 days ago. He was supposed to have a wedding, and now they want me to go find him and find out what's going on. And so I'm looking for him. I'm looking around town for him. And then I've got. What do you think so far? We'll get this.
Blessing
Okay.
Snowbike Mike
I think he's rocking the Zelda Ocarina of Time like a coyote mask because I saw him with his purple hair. He's got. He's got stunning purple hair. And he walked up to a mailbox, shoved A letter in. And I was going to commit a federal crime and shove my hand in there, but I couldn't.
Blessing
It's a lot harder to track back in the day.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah, in Hyrule. Or, you know, fake Hyrule.
Blessing
It takes place, like, in 1700.
Snowbike Mike
Then I was like, oh, snap. I'm gonna talk to the mailman, see if I can get the key. He's having an existential crisis because the moon's about to crash. He doesn't want to be here anymore doing his job. But the mayor says, you got to do your job. And he's like, I just want to run away and hide like the rest of the townsfolk. And so I'm going to try to take his job and then therefore become the mailman. Get this letter. Read the letter and figure out what's going on. Because I'll tell you this, my other hint, the dancers, they know about this kid, and they said, oh, I think he got cold feet, didn't want to get married.
Blessing
Chat. What's Alchemist 5? That's what I. My core skill rating is. I don't know what that means. Alchemist 5 is my ranking.
Snowbike Mike
Okay.
Blessing
I don't know what that means. I'm not good, though. If that's bad, pretend I didn't say anything. Everybody, this has been kind of Funny Games Daily. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for using your super chat. Thank you for subscribing. Remember, if you have Amazon prime, you have Twitch Prime. It's one higher than four. Thank you. Thank you. Bardo, you can stick around because after this, we got Gamescast, followed by just another bevy of content.
Snowbike Mike
You said you're Alchemist?
Blessing
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
So it goes from 0 to 11. 11 being the highest ranking alchemist is 3. So you are technically 4 up right now. 0, 1, 2, 3. That's where alchemist is. After that, you'll become a arcanist, a ritualist, an emissary. Then you'll get up to Oracle, Phantom, Ascendant, and Eternus.
Blessing
That's the third lowest rank. I don't trust that. I think. I'm thinking I'm probably better than that.
Snowbike Mike
Fourth. This is zero.
Blessing
I don't trust the. I don't trust that.
Snowbike Mike
More time.
Blessing
Yeah, I gotta put in more time. Yeah, I gotta figure out what these new items are doing. Everybody, this has been kind of Funny Games Daily. We. We'll be live with more games cast after this, everybody. But until then, it's been our pleasure to serve you.
