Today, in the nerdy news you need to know about. Assassin's Creed. Shadows has been delayed again. A new Xbox developer direct is happening and a lot of productions you're looking forward to have been halted due to the LA fires. We'll evolve this and more because this is Kinda Funny Games Daily. What's up, everybody? Welcome to Kinda Funny Games daily for Thursday, January 9, 2055. I'm one of your hosts, Greg Miller, alongside IGN.com Stella Chung.
Stella Chung
Well, actually, you don't have to put that last part or the. Yeah, you don't have to put the igns. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Greg Miller
Right?
Stella Chung
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Greg Miller
What happened there again?
Stella Chung
So I can't talk about it too much publicly because we're still in like a legal thing with them. But yeah, basically they decided to part ways with me and I, you know what I. I appreciate a lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so there's, there's stuff that's ongoing, so hopefully we can talk more about it soon. But yeah, now I'm here hanging out with you.
Greg Miller
Freelancer Stella Chung. Hello, Stella. How are you?
Stella Chung
Good, how are you?
Greg Miller
I'm excellent. I'm so happy to have you. You've been hanging out with us all week.
Stella Chung
Yeah, it's been so fun. You know, I. I guess I bothered Nick off of playing Marvel Rivals yesterday. He saw how much energy I had and he was like, I need to take a nap.
Greg Miller
As someone who has a lot of energy, me and Kevin drive Nick crazy. So to have somebody else here to drive Nick crazy is always. How has independent life been going for you?
Stella Chung
Well, it happened in December where there's not really a lot happening. So it's really starting to pick up this month, which, you know, hopefully we have something really cool to talk about tomorrow.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
But, yeah, I'm going to Japan at the end of this month.
Greg Miller
I didn't know what for.
Stella Chung
So Apex Legends has their Global Series Championship that's happening in Japan, so I'm going to Sapporo. So that'll be fun.
Greg Miller
Very, very cool. Very, very cool.
Stella Chung
Anyone in the community has good, you know, food recommendations or anything, let me know because it's my first time.
Greg Miller
Oh, wow, that's awesome. You have a great time there, for sure. And then of course, now that you're out on your own, you've been streaming more. You have a podcast. Tell me all about it.
Stella Chung
Yeah, so my podcast is Snap AIM Podcast, which is kind of dubbed after the Snap AIM Hackers can do.
Greg Miller
Sure.
Stella Chung
But yeah, it was originally FPS news, but now it's all gaming news, and I like to do deep dives into things.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
I've also been really getting into movies and doing video essays on that, which blessing was like, I got to get back into that. So maybe we do something there that.
Greg Miller
Could be super fun. That'd be awesome. Well, still, I'm glad you're out. I'm glad you're thriving. I'm glad you're doing all this stuff. All right. You know how much I love you. You know how much I respect you. You know how great I think you are. And so the fact that you get to do more on camera stuff out on your own is great. And so everybody should be hiring you.
Stella Chung
And doing stuff with you, and I love that because you know how much I don't respect you, and I love that you still respect me. It's great, Chad. It's a great power feeling, you know?
Greg Miller
Thought we're gonna have, like, a nice moment. Yeah.
Stella Chung
I don't know.
Greg Miller
We did all those DICE interviews back in the day. You were super nice to me. Now you're on my show.
Stella Chung
Yeah, I mean, listen, it's one of those things of, like, ooh, feelings. No, I need to lash out.
Greg Miller
Zeke, Speak super chats and says, stella, say the word and I will start a cult in your name. Say the word. I'll do what. I swear.
Stella Chung
You know what? If I do Cult of the Lamb again and then I have. Oh, my God, I can't.
Greg Miller
Yeah, cosplay for Cult of Lamb.
Stella Chung
Yeah, I did. But also, I could play it again because there was an update, and I could have kind of funny members be named, the followers, and that could be really fun.
Greg Miller
Now you're talking.
Stella Chung
That could be really fun.
Greg Miller
See, right there, That's a stream idea for you. Go in there.
Stella Chung

Greg Miller

Stella Chung
Not about him eating it.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Stella Chung

Stella Chung
Miss in the Sonic world a lot.
Greg Miller
Don't even try. Don't even try to get into it.
Snowbike Mike
All right.
Greg Miller
I'm in there and I'm catching up on two decades of Sonic number one on the rope Report. Assassin's Creed Shadows has been delayed again, this time by by another month. This is Wesley Yinpool. Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows yet again, this time by another month. Assassin's Creed Shadows was due out February 14, 2025, but will now launch on March 20 instead. This is the game's second delay after an initial release date of November 12, 2024, was pushed back to this year. I want of course, to go keep reading this. Get the quotes from Ubisoft, but first, super chats YouTube.com kind of funny games. It's your way to be part of the show and the news as we go. When do you think you'll actually be playing Assassin's Creed Shadow and or will it be good? I want super chat questions and responses on that quote. As part of the renewed focus on gameplay quality and engaging Day one experiences, it has been decided to provide an additional month of development to Assassin's Creed Shadows. Ubisoft said this additional time will allow the team to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months and help create the best conditions for launch by continuing to engage closely with the increasingly positive Assassin's Creed community. The game is now scheduled for March 20th. End quote. Who just walks over to the AI machine is like, tell me how to delay this thing. What would you say? AI God damn. Ubisoft boss Yves Gimmel added quote we are all behind our team's efforts to create the most ambitious Assassin's Creed opus of the franchise and made the decision to provide an extra month of development to Shadows in order to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months that will enable us to fully deliver on the potential of the game and finish the year on a strong note. End quote. You might say finish the Year. Fiscal year, everybody.
Stella Chung
Yeah, yeah, fiscal year.
Greg Miller
As Ubisoft struggles to stay afloat, try to be sold, they are talking about their fiscal year. Speaking of, of course, Jason Schreier has a little bit here on Blue Sky News. Assassin's Creed Shadow is delayed again now to March 20th. Ubisoft says as the company pursues, quote, various transformational strategic and capitalistic options to extract the best value for shareholders. Stakeholders, end quote, parentheses looks for a potential sale. Ubisoft CEO Yves says in a press statement, quote, we are convinced that there are several potential paths to generate value from Ubisoft's assets and franchises.
Stella Chung
A lot of words. A lot of words. Yeah.
Greg Miller
Yeah. It's a lot of words, Stella. Take it from however you want to take it. The delay, the quality of this game, or the. They're just trying to sell this company and get out.
Stella Chung
Yeah. I mean, it's so funny though, because they were like, no, we're not gonna sell the company. We're gonna. We're gonna hold on to it. But it's. It's. It sucks because I. I know people who work at Ubisoft. They're obviously like their friends and they have no control over any of this. Right. And it's. It's a lot of corporate stuff and it sucks because it feels like a lot of the corporate overlords don't understand what is in with gaming right now. So a lot of their live service stuff, I feel like it never hit. I mean, X. Defiant.
Greg Miller
Yep. So Roller. The roller game that I can ever. I was confused with the other roller game.
Stella Chung
I forget that.
Greg Miller
Roller Champions.
Paris Lilly
No.
Stella Chung
Roller.
Greg Miller
No, they. This. That they had the one that was the funny name. Was the one. The funny name. Ooh, now again.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
I mean, Kevin, if you want to hit the roller. Roller drone. Yes, yes, yes. Thank you so much, Kevin. You can hit the music if you want. I can. I don't mind. Here comes the money. Here we go.
Snowbike Mike
Money talk.
Stella Chung
Here comes the money.
Greg Miller
What's up, everybody? Welcome to your favorite reoccurring financial segment on Kinda Funny Games Daily. Greg's sound financial advice. I feel like a year ago and a half ago, maybe two years ago, I told you to buy Ubisoft stock because it was down. And I. I was the one who called the Gamestop stuff long before that thing. If you would have listened to me, you would have made like 300% of your money.
Stella Chung
Do we have proof of that?
Greg Miller
We do. This is not a bit that part. The green lights in this thing.
Stella Chung
This is a big.
Greg Miller
But me saying the game, it was like a dollar. And it was getting close to be delisted. I was like, no, they're going to sell the console. Buy. And then, of course, the Reddit people did weird things and made it really big. Ubisoft. I was like, hey, we got a nice shot here. It was like, what, $3.33 when I bought it, I think something like that.
Stella Chung
Okay.
Greg Miller
And it has continually fallen since then. But now. Kevin, throw it back up. What'd you have there? You had $2.30 some cents. Like, again, $2.52. I only have the evidence of when I had my financial windfall from Virgin America, where. I love Virgin America. I bought Virgin America stock. I was a broke little IGN boy, but I bought as much as I could, and it never did that well. But then when they sold it to Alaska Airlines, I made a lot of money, like, double the price. So, theoretically, when they sell Ubisoft, they should double. That's just smart financial advice. That isn't financial advice. Don't hold me legally liable.
Stella Chung
He said it.
Greg Miller
It's not real, as you see. But is it?
Stella Chung
Is it okay, sure, that's fine.
Greg Miller
I'm just throwing it out there. Who knows what's gonna happen? But the thing I coined on this show, Greg, sound financial advice. And I've stuck with. And most people have told me it's the best way. They're happy that I said it. You buy low and you sell high. That's the cornerstone of what I made up here.
Stella Chung
Okay. Do you think they can get high.
Greg Miller
Again if they get sold? Yeah.
Stella Chung
Okay. Yeah. Why are we getting. Why am I being Mike Wazowski? Thank you. Oh, my God.
Greg Miller
Yeah. Okay, so let's start here. Stella, do you think this is the last delay for Assassin's Creed Shadows? Are we actually going to play it on March 20th?
Stella Chung
Oh, I mean, it's a month, so if they already have it ready, maybe. But, like, I don't. The thing is, they're not being transparent about what exactly it is that they're changing for the better, for players. And we already know that the feedback and the community discussions were not. What was it?
Greg Miller
Increasingly positive or whatever it is they're increasingly positive community. What the Are you talking about?
Stella Chung
Yeah, no, that's not.
Greg Miller
Internet communities are cesspools if they're not ours. What are you talking about?
Stella Chung
And it's one of those things of like. Okay, well, if they were actually bending to what the really toxic people are asking for, that's going to be a completely different game. But I Don't think they're doing that. So it's like, okay, what are you working on? I would like some transparency because I want to know what exactly it is that you're polishing, which is totally fine. I think that there's something really valuable in community conversations.
Greg Miller
Of course.
Stella Chung
But I feel like that's something that Ubisoft has not been great at.
Greg Miller
It's such a weird one of like, so we're talking about, I guess, what you're pulling. I. I just don't buy it of like, oh, this is what we're getting for. They call it the community, but they really mean Playtesters because obviously the community doesn't have any way to go and then attack on. Yeah. Like it's them trying to nip it in the bud. That it's because of the negative Nancy's out there who have been doing right to be to engage closely with the increasingly positive Assassin's Creed community. Like, are they getting more and more positive? And if so, why would they when you keep the lay of the game and nobody knows what's going on and blah, blah. Like, I think in general, the game just isn't where they want it to be and isn't coming together. And I think, yeah, the last stop, like, is this fiscal year. They want to get this out by the end of the fiscal year to have that number to what? Because it's going to sell some money, it's going to make some money, which is better than no money, which will look good on the books to then be wherever you are with what you're trying to do here and get out and sell this.
Stella Chung
Yeah. I mean, Assassin's Creed feels like it's always been one of those staple games that everyone buys. Right. Especially when they were originally doing so many, like, year after year. But I think a lot people are really looking at this because they've wanted a game set in Japan for a really long time now. And the trailer looked great to me.
Greg Miller
It looked great at E3 when I watched, I was like, oh, this looks really cool. I like what I'm seeing. Yeah. Yeah, it did look like more Assassin's Creed. Like it didn't look revolutionary on that front, but yeah, well.
Stella Chung
But that's what people want. They want more Assassin's Creed and Ubisoft is like, let's go back to what we know does really well.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
And they went back to Assassin's Creed. So.
Greg Miller
Yeah. I wonder how much of like, you know, that E3 demo vertical slice is always so tough. Right. Here's what this is the best case for what we want. Is it that when you're looking at the rest of that game and obviously the two protagonists attack the situation how you want to, are you running into issues where it isn't fun to play as one of them through a lot of missions? Is it where certain missions just don't work the way you want them to with the other protagonist versus the other? Like, a lot of questions in there.
Stella Chung
Yeah. Because I think because they're very different play styles, maybe some people don't want to be someone who is a really big brawler. They want to be more stealth, which one of the characters obviously excels more in. So it's like, if you have to switch back and forth in certain story beats, you feel locked into that sort of playstyle. So I totally get why people might be turned off today. That's kind of how I felt with Indiana Jones. I felt like I was more rewarded for stealth, and I'm really bad at stealth, especially when there's, like, you throw a wrench at one guy's head, and suddenly, oh, all of his friends are like, hey, what's going on?
Greg Miller
Yeah. So someone say, not great game design, but it doesn't matter. Yeah, I'm with you. And I think, again, they. You know, they've been so vocal, at least at E3, of like, oh, you know, you can play most of the game as one person. So I just wonder if it gets into a. You start penciling yourself in corners where it's like, well, shit, it's really fun to stealth this because it's a stealth game, but when you're smashing through the walls as the big brawler guy, Yosuke, I would love. Yeah, of course. Yeah, yeah. We have a lot of stuff and a lot of different super chats coming in about this one. Right. Tom Cunningham says not shocked by the delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows. It feels like there's been a massive lack of hype and marketing for it. Still better delayed than a buggy mess. My concern here is that, to your point, what are they actually fixing? What are they actually doing? Blah, blah, blah, blah. If they're still trying to find the fun in this, if that's the core issue, because it doesn't sound like how. Like, when they delayed a vow, they're like, yo, we're just trying to get out of a crowded thing. Game's great. And now you're here, and it's like the messaging here is again, AI Gobbledygook. Which is like, whatever. We're just talking whatever got pushed out from the corporate robot. But it's not inspiring confidence that we have a great game, but we're trying to get to a better place. We're squashing bugs, we're doing whatever. It's more the fact of, like, this game has been all quiet on the western front. And this is supposed to be like, as we were talking on Roger's gamescast this week, where he made all his predictions, like, we're talking about a game that really does hold the future of Ubisoft in his hand, and it just doesn't seem like it's ready for that kind of responsibility.
Stella Chung
Yeah. I mean, we saw Outlaws launch and it was fine at launch, but, like, people were talking about there were bugs that it could have been improved better. And then they did push a lot of updates that did fix and put it in a better state. So it's possible they do this in March, but at this point, is that something that players would be okay with? Right. And it's one of those things of, like, if. If they're do. That's why I think that it would be great for some transparency on this, just so that fans know what to expect.
Greg Miller
And this is the whole rub with Ubisoft. Right. Where it's like, Ubisoft as a company, I feel like, has stripped out so much of its humanity.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Where again, this just doesn't. None of these quotes read like a real person said these. Right. Like, it's not like we're getting a. A letter from the director here that's saying exactly what's happening and why it's happening or a vlog or something to attach a name to it is just like, okay, cool. As a renewed focus of gameplay quality and engaging day one experiences, it's been decided it's like, okay, but like, a month is no time at all in the video game world. So, like, what is that? Even if you're trying to polish what you have, if it's not good enough and just not fun enough to begin with.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
You're going to swing and whiff on, like, what should have been the biggest Assassin's Creed, because people have been calling for Japan forever. Like, you call that.
Paris Lilly
Yeah.
Stella Chung
Like, you can. You can fix some things in the game. You can. You can't fix the core mechanics and the core gameplay loop. So not. Especially not in a month. There's no way.
Greg Miller
Yeah, exactly. Right. Daniel May says pizza. Bet that it gets delayed after going gold. That would be fascinating. Yes. You know, we do pizza bets around here.
Stella Chung
Okay.
Greg Miller
I think once it goes gold, Daniel, it will not be delayed. So you owe me a pizza if I'm right, I'll owe you a pizza if you're wrong. Do what I did there, Betty. Be good. Is way more in this. He says ass Creed shats will be good. Okay. One of the best. I don't think it'll be another Skull and Bones and might be delayed one more time. Love you, Stella. Hashtag Greg sucks.
Stella Chung
Ah, love you too.
Greg Miller
Thank you. Let's just unite against Nick. We were united against Nick. I like that better. You know, Mikey's old. Yeah. Mikey. Mick. Mikey Mogg. Sorry. Says I'm not really surprised that they moved it again with all the stuff coming out next month. And I'm still cautiously hyped that this game for this game. Mainly because I love Assassin's Creed games. I just hope it's good. I love Assassin's Creed. I hope it's good too. It just feels like everything. They're. All the vibes that are coming out of Ubisoft about this game make it feel like they think it's underwhelming, which makes me think I'm going to be super underwhelmed.
Stella Chung
Yeah. In saying nothing. They've kind of set the bar already for people to. On what to expect, though. Yeah. I don't know. I want this to be good, too, because a lot of Assassin's Creed players were like, oh, my God, We. It feels like we're going back to the core, especially with, like, Mirage.
Greg Miller
So. So then, Stella, when do you think Ubisoft is officially sold to 10 cent to whoever else is going to come in and get the military giant that is Tencent.
Stella Chung
Yeah, that's right. I don't know. Have they said anything after that one statement where they're like, yeah, we're. We're gonna stay.
Greg Miller
Well, there's a whole bunch of weird stuff of like.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Them saying, like, they are intro. They're looking into it. You know what I mean?
Paris Lilly
Yeah.
Stella Chung
How it would go maybe, I don't know, mid to end here.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
See how this goes. See how sales go after a couple months if. If they actually release in March.
Greg Miller
And that's the thing. You got to get this out. Right. But yeah, we'll see what's up. I don't know. I don't know.
Paris Lilly
I don't know.
Greg Miller
This. It's just crazy how this is gone, like the entire journey of Assassin's Creed. Sure. But I mean, Ubisoft in general, they fight off of Vendi. They're the Good guys. Everyone's excited. They're not going to shove Assassin's Creed down your throat. They make some great Assassin's Creed games, right? With Origins in Odyssey, Valhalla wasn't my cup of, I mean, we're getting to a cup of tea thing versus like, they're good games, they're big games, whatever. And everyone should be so stoked. This should be such a slam dunk home run easy. And here we are, like delayed again and we just. I don't know. I don't know about this one. We will wait and see, everybody, and keep you posted. Jeep. Right now when it chat. I've been. I've been going through my notes. I've been going through all the studios pages front to back. I'm losing my mind.
Greg Miller
Do you want me to get your chair? I'll get your chair. You got notes?
Paris Lilly
Sure. We can talk about it. No, I like. I like sitting here. We'll get a third chair. Stella.
Stella Chung
Greg, you just want to sit on my lap?
Paris Lilly
Let's talk about it. Stella. Of course I check out the Internet and I say what does the Internet say? Where do they want to go? And the Internet is screaming the Oblivion Remake. Which you guys all talked about yesterday on the podcast. Is that an option? It seems like the Internet wants that one the most.
Stella Chung
Maybe. But isn't that studio busy working on something else or have we not heard from them in a minute?
Greg Miller
Virtuous. Yeah, they're doing the Metal Gear one, but I still think that's the rumor. I said I believe it.
Stella Chung
You think so?
Greg Miller
I believe. I mean especially if Delta's almost done. That's a 2020 five year game, right?
Stella Chung
Oh sure.
Greg Miller
Theoretically.
Paris Lilly
Would the Oblivion Remake be a this year game? That's my problem when I'm going to the Spider Woman.
Greg Miller
But you know how this is. This is the thing they can. They say that they don't have to do that. They don't have to do that.
Paris Lilly
Odd that we see no outer worlds too, right? I. I get that we have a vowed right around the corner but you promoted Worlds 2 to be here. But then like anything can shift. It's the games industry. I get it.
Greg Miller
So here.
Paris Lilly
No out of Worlds too.
Greg Miller
I mean I think it's weird that there's no. You say outer worlds too. I think it's weird there's no avowed. I think what this is like the last. Are they going to do another avowed direct before then? No, that's not their style. So I would have thought you would have tacked on at least a. And maybe it could still happen.
Paris Lilly
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Of like this is what they're saying and you know again people say all sorts of stuff and they'll lead up to a direct to showcase or whatever you can say. But I, I would definitely think you do so much here. Just like influences we've seen so much about. I get it. But at least hey and don't forget here we are and you know this is that. And then maybe toss a teaser for. I don't But I mean I think it's weird that like your last big thing you're not saying something there to remind people. I digress.
Stella Chung
I mean do you think it's just because they feel like we've seen a lot of it and they don't want to fatigue people?
Greg Miller
Probably, yeah. I mean you figure there's going to be a huge marketing campaign? Pretty much. This will wrap up and do a whole run up throughout February leading up to about launch.
Paris Lilly
Agreed on that.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Paris Lilly
I continue down my list right now I go back into the Xbox library and I start looking at teams that we've heard from that might be on the fringe of a studio's brand new game. What's a brand new game, Stella game I've already seen or a game I've never seen.
Stella Chung
Yeah, right. Like, is it brand new?
Paris Lilly
Where do we go on that?
Stella Chung
Say new IP though, so maybe.
Paris Lilly
So let's. Let's go over some teams I've seen. Right. Some games I've seen. Coalition with Gears Ear E Day now. I know Xbox loves now to start showing you the now, the future and the far future. So Gears E Day might be the far future, might be the future. But they did show it to me. So it's on my list. I don't know if it's here. But I'll tell you what, you put Gears E Day in this, it's gonna pop off. I mean, we all gonna lose our minds if that happened in there. I put that one red line. That one's out.
Stella Chung
Okay.
Greg Miller
Okay. Chad is saying Aaron Greenberg has said it's unannounced.
Paris Lilly
Unannounced.
Greg Miller
I'm looking.
Paris Lilly
Okay. Then I kick off in exile with Clockwork Revolution. That one's going to be my. Maybe we've seen Clockwork before. That. That looks like BioShock.
Stella Chung
Yes, that's right. Yeah.
Paris Lilly
But it's not BioShock. Yes, I like that one a lot.
Stella Chung
I like that team.
Paris Lilly
Exactly. So now I go to unannounced projects.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Paris Lilly
When I go there.
Greg Miller
Waggerman said, what could be the behind that question mark? Aaron Greenberg says a surprised unannounced game we hope you'll enjoy along with the rest of the show.
Paris Lilly
Then there's one team that I haven't heard from in a while.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Paris Lilly
Double fine. What is up with double fine? What are they making? We all loved Psychonauts 2. Now it's time to get that true Xbox game under their belt. This is all fully funded. Let's go. And so let's just.
Greg Miller
Let's just pretend I love this. Tell me, Stella. Feel them. I feel it.
Paris Lilly
Yeah, it's a medium. I'm an extra large kid. Checked me when I bought it.
Greg Miller
Let's just.
Paris Lilly
He's like, this is a medium. I was like, ah, don't worry about it.
Greg Miller
It's my inspirational wear. No. So let's. Let's just run with it and say Xbox. Not a bunch of liars. Highly anticipated games coming to all this stuff this year.
Paris Lilly
Yeah.
Greg Miller
I Think if you're saying this year and you're talking about these games, you would slide in something small. And I think that's where Double Fine would. Oh, not. And I'm not saying, like, you know, whatever, but I'm saying not a huge game. Something like a stacking. Something like a costume quest. Something that is a smaller thing that they're turning and burning. And here we go. You know, we gestated forever on Psychonauts. Here's something we're putting out to get, you know, our feet in the Xbox ecosystem.
Stella Chung
Banjo Kazooie from Double Fine.
Paris Lilly
The people want it. Yeah, the people. The people call for. You've just activated Paris somewhere.
Greg Miller
He's in the chat.
Paris Lilly
In the world. He activated him.
Greg Miller
Hi, Paris. Paris. Discord in. What are you doing next Cast reunion.
Paris Lilly
It's interesting because you.
Greg Miller
Wake up.
Paris Lilly
Is my only Xbox studio that I don't know about, right? Like Ninja Theory. We just had Hellblade 2, so they're off the list. Mojang, right? They're making Minecraft. Unless they make another Minecraft spin off with another studio, which they have done. I don't think they're on my list right now. Rare with Everwild. We've technically seen Everwild. So does it fall into that bucket turn? Ted just did Forza. He's in Discord. He's going to turn it on. Undead Labs did state of the K3. So, like those for Xbox, but announced.
Greg Miller
Aaron Greenberg out here giving you the.
Paris Lilly
Fucking Bethesda Studios, right? Like, you know what the big team at BGS is doing with Elder Scrolls 6. So we. We kind of wait on that. Doom the Dark Ages. Zenx Online is supposedly doing something other than just eso, so that could be something there.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Paris Lilly
Something to keep your eye on that one. Ar. Not that I know of. No Machine Games is doing indie dlc, so that crosses off all my Bethesda stuffs. Now we get into Blizzard. Activision. Not the strongest with them. They're new. I don't know what their studios really break down into, but I would say this. There's been a big push for COD to go. Every two years there's been a big push of, hey, there's some great studios there. What if we let them make their own IP?
Greg Miller
What if the chat's saying that the ZeniMax game is Starfield Online was the rumor. What?
Paris Lilly
I don't know anything about it. I don't know about that. I don't know about that.
Greg Miller
I don't know about that. Can you imagine about that Starfield Online, Greg Miller, day one sitting there in a Starfield jacket.
Paris Lilly
Nobody else playing this thing about that one.
Greg Miller
And so how are we doing on Paris?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I think he's just waiting for you to pause.
Greg Miller
Okay, just bring him in. I was waiting for him just to get dragged.
Paris Lilly
Please talk over me. Let me know what you got.
Snowbike Mike
Paris, I'm. I'm here. Can you hear me?
Greg Miller
Yeah, we can hear you.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
So I. I'm literally driving back from CES right now and I'm charging my car, so.
Greg Miller
Nice.
Snowbike Mike
That's why I'm talking to you.
Greg Miller
Love it.
Paris Lilly
Yeah.
Snowbike Mike
I mean, as far as the developer direct goes, I just think. Yeah, you kind of said already, Greg, it's probably double A level, hi Fi Rush type game, you know, that they can. They can put out.
Greg Miller
Not.
Snowbike Mike
Probably not a stealth launch. Like it's going to be out with the dev direct, but comes out, you know, later this year. So I. I think his lineup looks solid. But I do think what you're saying before about the Outer Worlds two not being here, I. That did give me a little pause, especially since I drafted it. But. But I'm assuming it's still coming out this year and then obviously Fable, they would probably hold that until the June showcase.
Greg Miller
Yeah. Yeah. And that's the thing. When you get. That's why again, I'm thinking something smaller. You got the big stuff, the big beats. You're gonna put them over there.
Paris Lilly
Yeah. You can play the game now of you can announce anything right now and then save everything for June. Because that is the big blowout. That's the big second half of the year. But you know, we are tracking the year here and you're only showing Doom, Dark Ages and South of Midnight. Right. So it's like, all right, well, what's the rest of the year really look like? Let's start throwing some darts on the board and getting us ready. Because the last two, we've had five games announced. Right. So where are we at with this one? We have four. Well, four announced, three ready. But yeah. Fourth is going to be the surprise. Will they do a super surprise five? I don't know on that one. But then I also Paris and Stella, I go to Project Dragon from IO Interactive.
Greg Miller
Sure.
Paris Lilly
They are currently making James Bond, but we did hear there is something cooking over on the Xbox side for that. Is this the time? I don't think so. Is it this time to finally see Final Fantasy 7 come to Xbox on console? It's probably an E3 thing, but still. Greg, kick off the Year with some hype.
Greg Miller
That'd be a surprise location of Mana we had.
Paris Lilly
We've had other teams come in and show their stuff. That would be fantastic. Oblivion remake and Silk Song are on my list of where we are.
Snowbike Mike
What about the game that that Avalanche is working on?
Paris Lilly
A black contraband.
Snowbike Mike
Contraband, yes.
Paris Lilly
Yeah, these are all. I, I don't. The wording is awkward. The things of like, we've never seen him before. We've seen contraband, but we haven't actually seen contraband. So when does that fall? It's pretty exciting.
Snowbike Mike
Eric Greenberg was pretty specific. It was unannounced. So this is something we've not heard of before. That's why I'm thinking it's probably a smaller Double A game that maybe one of the Bethesda studios was working on or something like that. Or an Activision studio double.
Greg Miller
Fine, take it to the bank.
Snowbike Mike
I would love that. But I, I, I would imagine Tim Schaefer gets more shine than just, oh, surprise game in the dev direct. I, I see that as the June showcase announcement.
Greg Miller
Interesting.
Paris Lilly
Yeah. But a great way to peel back the curtain and take us in.
Greg Miller
Remember, these devs are talking and they're fun. Tim and Double Fun are so good at that. You do the thing with the logo and the pan pudding. I don't know why, but that's his bit this time, you know, here's my game. It's Pudding Creatures.
Paris Lilly
That's what I got. Okay, Stella, any surprises that I did not go over from that?
Stella Chung
No, my, my brain is blanking on. It's the unannounced part that's getting me. Right. Because I'm like, oh, yeah. Someone mentioned we haven't seen Perfect Dark. We haven't seen any updates on that. But announced. Yeah, that's not.
Greg Miller
Yeah, maybe they changed the title though. There. That's how they get you. I got some stuff from the chat, if you'd like. Frog Night super chats on YouTube.com kind of funny games. Just like you can to be part of the show. And says Scalebound is back.
Paris Lilly
Scale bound. Oh my God, I love that. We still hold on to that as a kid.
Greg Miller
Never forget. No, it's a brand new one. It's all different. He's not wearing headphones now. Foxy Steve says Killer Instinct.
Paris Lilly
Yeah, I thought of Ki who is making that though of course we do know the team Iron Galaxy is now kind of free out there and they're making stuff. So maybe how fast is that turnaround time? I don't know. But maybe they Work just to announce it would be special. I like that.
Greg Miller
Then you got Colin Berry saying 1v100 is the secret game. Can you imagine? Everybody wants it back.
Paris Lilly
Everybody wants bring it back. We want that back.
Greg Miller
What is up? Alex Frazier, of course, saying it's a game from Rare Banjo. Please, Paris, I know you'd lose your mind. He's already lost his mind.
Snowbike Mike
Wait, can you hear me?
Greg Miller
Yeah, now we can. Okay.
Snowbike Mike
No, I have learned my lesson. I will never get hyped for Banjo Kazooie again until it actually happens.
Greg Miller
I believe that when I see that. I'll believe that when I see it. Overly jammy says, do you think it's an. Do you think it's a quote unquote and it's out now like hi Fi Rush.
Stella Chung
It's possible, right? Yeah, but it's a developer direct, though.
Greg Miller
Yeah. They're still making a big deal about it. I mean, these are cool showcases. I love the developer direct.
Stella Chung
Oh, I love them. I think it's great because again, it's that whole communication. Right. Transparency. I love that.
Greg Miller
Is that how it went? Was hi Fi Russia developer directed than they were?
Paris Lilly
Yes.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Paris Lilly
We also, they do have a problem at the beginning of the year releasing games. So we have a vow around the corner. So I don't know. But over the past couple of years, me and Paris, you know, we've talked about it a lot on xcast of they've had an issue the first six months of the year releasing games and giving gamers, you know, that kind of boost there at the beginning. It's always in the fall. It's always right at the end of the year to make it feel like, oh, it was a good year. But then you forget we went three to six months of absolutely no first party exclusive titles there. So it'd be a big win.
Greg Miller
Michael writes in it says Double Fine could be making kiln. It's been rumored that they would make a full version of their Amnesia Fortnite Jam game. Maybe a surprise drop. Oh, now we're starting to speak to my heart that it is Double Fine and it's a surprise drop and we're just out the door. I would adore that. I would love that.
Paris Lilly
Okay.
Greg Miller
I like that. On the other side, though, whatever Wavy says, I'm a platform psycho, so I need Psychonauts 3, which I don't think is what it's going to be.
Paris Lilly
Yeah, I don't know about that, but that would be sick. That'd be sick.
Greg Miller
Side of Fry says this one's for Barrett Persona six? Not a chance.
Paris Lilly
Atlas teaming up at a developer direct. Hey, come on by.
Greg Miller
At a developer directs.
Paris Lilly
No, they've done well with the last one with Visions of Mana. Right? Like, they've done well. Like teaming up with other studios that are outside of our box and going, hey, you know, we know these guys. They're making great games to bring in some titles over here. It would be cool. But yeah, that's kind of super high. But it would be awesome to go behind the scenes over there.
Greg Miller
Irk the imp says a new Obsidian passion project. Question mark. They always surprise us.
Paris Lilly
No fucking pump your brain.
Greg Miller
Finish a vowed get done with outer worlds too for a little bit. Get into it. That's coming out this year. Then you got another passion project. No, too much.
Paris Lilly
That would be dope.
Greg Miller
That would be cool, but too much. We can't have all this stuff happening over there. And our final super chat for right now comes for Carnell Williams who says Ever Wild. They changed the name.
Paris Lilly
They changed the name. That's great.
Greg Miller
We had a surprise for you. It's this game. You might. It's not what you think it is. Change the name. It's Wild of Evers now.
Paris Lilly
If we're gonna go with the Internet. The Oblivion remake. It's exciting to me who grew up with Morrowind and Oblivion. Like I'm all you were trying to.
Greg Miller
Yesterday in the whole game daily conversation. You just slacked me. The devil horns play Oblivion.
Paris Lilly
These two Brony's trying to get you away from Oblivion. I'm over here. Like, you should play that game. It's a great game.
Stella Chung
Shut down the gates yet either.
Paris Lilly
Oh, it's a fantastic one. And so if the remake is real, I would love to see that one. That gets me pumped up for this. But another good one, right? Year three of doing the developer underscore direct. We've had a lot of fun with them. They've done a really good job at spotlighting the studios, going behind the scenes, letting us see the faces of the incredible human beings who make the games we love. So I'm glad that they're doing another one. Right. I think they found a good cadence with this. Into June, into of course, Tokyo Game show and the Game Awards. Right. If they can keep that kind of presence up, showing the games, they have a lot to offer here with all the studios that they now own. Of course, we always can say the fun let the dominoes fall when it happens. But you know, it's still. They have a lot of games, a lot of great developers under their Umbrella. Hopefully they can pay those developers what they deserve. No more layoffs and we can have great games over on the platform.
Stella Chung
Asking a lot, man.
Greg Miller
You're asking for the stars.
Paris Lilly
I love you all.
Greg Miller
We love you, Mike. Thank you very much, everybody.
Snowbike Mike
Buddy, can I say one thing before you kick me off?
Greg Miller
Yes. But before then I want to do this because I'll forget l. Rich the how it says. Are you guys going to be live reacting to it? Of course we will be live reacting to the Xbox developer direct on the 23rd. Back to you, Paris.
Snowbike Mike
Mike walked away, but all I wanted to say was this. This is kind of like the quote unquote, finally the year of Xbox. They potentially got about six games that are coming out this year. Three in the first half because you would imagine a vowed south of Midnight doom first half of the year.
Greg Miller
You think south of Midnight's on the first half of the year?
Snowbike Mike
I do. Because when I. When I went and saw it at Compulsion, it looks. It looks ready. I can't imagine that game not coming out the first half of the year.
Greg Miller
I like that a lot, Paris.
Snowbike Mike
Yeah. Yeah. So. And then Fable, if that's the big holiday game.
Greg Miller
No way.
Snowbike Mike
I drafted it.
Greg Miller
No way.
Stella Chung
I don't think they're.
Snowbike Mike
Yes, I drafted it, so it is.
Greg Miller
I will this into existence.
Snowbike Mike
Yes. Outer Worlds to Oblivion remake. They got a lot of shit coming.
Greg Miller
Out of worlds 2. Ain't hitting this year either.
Snowbike Mike
Yes, I drafted it.
Greg Miller
So yes, you're wrong though. I can't help you.
Stella Chung
You're wrong though.
Greg Miller
No, no.
Stella Chung
I at least really want it. So I'm manifesting it.
Greg Miller
I love you too, Paris.
Stella Chung
Bye, Paris.
Greg Miller
See you next week. Paris. Of course. Up here for game of the Year coverage on Monday. Hanging out on Tuesday as well. Okay, Stella.
Stella Chung
Yes.
Greg Miller
That was fun.
Stella Chung
Yeah, that was fun.
Greg Miller
You know why we can do fun things?
Stella Chung
Why?
Greg Miller

Greg Miller
To wait two seconds so I'm waiting more than two seconds.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Don't bring attention to it.
Greg Miller
I'm ordering food for us.
Stella Chung
How you doing Kevin?
Greg Miller
You're doing okay?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Where'd you ordering food from?
Greg Miller
Nick the Greek.
Stella Chung
Yeah, we're having Greek food today.
Greg Miller
Me and Stella said we'd have lunch cuz I've ignored her all week but then there's a call at 1212. Thank you Kevin.
Stella Chung
I'm not dropping that note.
Greg Miller
Story number three on the rope report fallout season two filming has halted due to the LA fires. This is Matt Kim at IGN.com production on some of Hollywood's biggest shows, including the next season of Fallout, have come to a screeching halt after several major fires broke out across Los Angeles County. Variety reports that filming permits across fire stricken areas have been withdrawn, which means that the restart of production for Fallout Season 2 has been postponed, though just until Friday. NBCUniversal says that production of Hacks, Loot, Ted Suits, LA and Happy's Place have all been suspended as well. Elsewhere, CBS has Huh?
Stella Chung
Huh?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I said Ted see that show?
Greg Miller
I don't know who knows Elsewhere cbo when you read show titles and you're Greg Miller, they all sound made up. I'm like I've never heard of any of this happy place.
Stella Chung
I thought hacks is just that's an.
Greg Miller
HBO who's got a job. And who doesn't? Elsewhere, CBS is halted.
Stella Chung
Production is a real job.
Greg Miller
You sure? It is. You're out there begging for support. It's sickening. Kind of funny.com Patreon Elsewhere, CBS has halted product of NCIS NCIS Origins and After Midnight, while Disney has paused Doctor Odyssey, Grey's Anatomy and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Lastly, Warner Brothers studio in Burbank was closed, affecting Abbott elementary, among other shows. Amazon will be looking to get fallout up and running soon as the first season was a surprise hit for the streamer and maybe even for fans who were not provided with a lot of details before the show premiered. Of course, Stella, you know when we will get our fallout. TV show or NCIS or whatever is the least of our concerns here. Of course. Horrific. All the photos, all the stories. So many of my. I mean, you live in L. A. So many of my friends of kind of funny live in L. A. Watching stories, checking in via text. Like, it's just awful down there right now.
Stella Chung
I feel really bad. It didn't get this bad until I left. And I'm just like, I feel kind of. You feel kind of guilty for not. Not being there. Yeah.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
So it's kind of crazy.
Greg Miller
Everything's okay with your section?
Stella Chung
We are okay for now. I think the fire that was the closest has been stopped.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Stella Chung
So that's good. Yeah. The LAFD has been great at handling everything. Please send in donations to them if you can. Yeah, yeah. It's. It's incredible because we're, like, in the middle of, like, all these fires that are slowly, like, creeping in, so we're okay. But, yeah, it's. It's crazy because, like, so many of my friends and their fur babies have had to evacuate. And it's really sad because some of these people are like, I have no idea if my house is gonna make it. Of course. Yeah. Actually, Max Scoville, his dad's restaurant burned down, so they do have a gofundme up. If you go to his socials, you should be able to donate as well, which would be incredible. Yeah, it's just absolutely devastating. It's. The winds when I left Burbank Airport were so bad that when I was standing on the plane, it was swaying.
Greg Miller
Oh, my God.
Stella Chung
Just sitting there.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
So I was like, oh, you know, it'll probably die down. Right. And then I get here and I was like, oh, the flyers have gotten way worse. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's. Yeah, it's crazy. And it's weird because I Was like, I thought fire season was mostly in like the Bay Area, but no, it's everywhere.
Greg Miller
Yeah, no, it's all of California. It's usually not this time of year, but now we just live in a constant thing because of climate change that people would like to ignore and act like doesn't exist. But you will continue to see this as everything gets worse and worse around here. Yeah, but, yeah, horrific and so, yeah, thoughts and prayers obviously to everybody affected down there. And yes, when they're. If you have the ability to donate to Max's thing, the humane shelters, I think there's going to be so much of this is going to come in the aftermath right where right now it's all hands on deck. The fire department, people helping out there. Steve Gutenberg moving cars on the street. If you saw this video, did you see this?
Stella Chung
I don't think so.
Greg Miller
Steve Gutenberg is 80s actor.
Stella Chung
Oh, okay.
Greg Miller
He's definitely faded from the limelight. So it's not like you like, oh, okay. But like he's. There's a newscaster doing the thing out the road and they're interviewing this guy and he's like, if you're gonna leave, like, leave your car keys, I'm moving cars right now for everybody, blah, blah, blah. It's like, all right. And sorry, what's your name, sir? It's like Steve Gutenberg. And the guy's like, okay, well, the actor. Yeah, yeah. It's a very heartwarming clip of like, you know, everybody doing their best down there right now, no matter who they are. What's going on? So, yeah.
Stella Chung
Oh, hey, that's what he looks like.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah. Oh, my God. Go watch Police Academy. Oh, you've seen Police Academy?
Stella Chung
Come on.
Greg Miller
Also, I think always looks like Josh Makuga. Makuga always makes me think of Guttenberg.
Stella Chung
I don't know who that is either.
Greg Miller
You've met. Well, probably.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I see it.
Greg Miller
I see it. You see it? Yeah. Don't get me wrong. Josh Makuga, you shouldn't know.
Stella Chung
I shouldn't say.
Greg Miller
He's a kind of funny best friend. You know what I mean? He's this guy, he thinks he can do what we do. It just.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Why is he so drunk?
Greg Miller
That's probably how you would met him.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
God, I miss him so much.
Greg Miller
I know, I know. Let's move on to story number four. Shadow of the Colossus movie. Quote, not abandoned by any means, says Tom Ivan at vgc. The director attached to the Shadow of the Colossus movie adaptation for over a decade has said the project could still see the light of day. It will not see the light of day, everybody. Sony first announced plans to bring Team ICO's celebrated PS2 game to the big screen way back in 2009, but little has been heard about the project in the years since. Andreas Muschietti, who. And I'm butchering that, but the director of the Flash. They have other stuff in here. Mama. It nobody cares. The director of the Flash, Andy, his name, he goes by Andy, was confirmed to be helming in 2014. However, Andy. Not our Andy, but that Andy recently provided a positive update on the film in an interview with an Argentinian radio station. The film has been in development for 10 years and now the possibility of making it opens up, he told Radio Tu, according to recontados. Translated by the gamer. Yeah, Andy, the director of Flash claimed it wasn't an abandoned project by any means, adding, I love that film. There is a script that I like a lot, end quote. However, he acknowledged that securing the desired budget for the project remained an obstacle. There are factors that have been have nothing to do with your hobby and desire to make it, but with how popular an intellectual property like this is, he said. Shadow of the Colossus is a cult game, but to make a good film, there is a studio that predicts. There is a studio that puts the numbers and says how much it is worth to give the director. 200, 150 or $100 million. There are different versions of the film and obviously I want them to give me $200 million. But this is another factor to take into account. End quote.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Hey, Flash, number one DCEU film as ranked by in review. So we're not talking trash about that or his desire to make it. I just don't think this ever happens. I don't.
Stella Chung
Yeah, he. Okay, so the biggest thing it says the possibility of making it opens up. That doesn't mean it's going to happen. It just means that it's a little bit more probable now.
Greg Miller
I think it's even less probable because you figure PlayStation is so all in on making movies and TV now. So that's a whole production arm that has started what in the last five years and like, this isn't one of their projects. Right. This reminds me of James Gunn taking over the DC film properties, right? And then kind of be like, all right, well, Matt Reeves can stay, but this has got to go. And this will like you're going to come in and you're going to make it in your vision. I'm sure. If PlayStation wants to make this movie, they want to make it their way, and not necessarily on whatever this vision was from 10 years ago.
Stella Chung
Yeah. And it's. It's so. It's such a shame because I feel like you could do this in such a good way. Right. And I didn't realize he did it as well.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
And I feel like you could definitely put in some cosmic horror aspect to it. Right. Because it's like there's these giant colossus creatures, and you're just like that.
Greg Miller
We're just murdering for no reason.
Stella Chung
Well, yeah. And you're just this tiny human. You're like. Yeah. You can absolutely put this feeling of dread and, like, fear into it, which I think could play really well for sure. But it's really sad. I don't think it's gonna happen.
Greg Miller
Yeah, no, I don't think so, but.
Stella Chung
I don't think it's gonna.
Greg Miller
Maybe the next three to four PlayStation Studios projects just crush. Just knock it out of the park. And then it is like, we gotta get every property going. And they'd still do this. But my gut would be. I don't think. I think you'd. They're probably trying to wait this deal out if they wanted to, and then make their own version of Shadow Claw.
Stella Chung
Actually, I'm curious. How do you feel about the Helldivers movie announcement?
Greg Miller
It's like any other video game announcement to a degree, where it's like. It was like when they announced Gran Turismo, and you're like, what the fuck are you doing? And then I saw Gran Turismo, I was like, you know what? This wasn't a bad movie.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
You took it in an interesting direction.
Stella Chung
But the thing is with Helldivers, they've already had a movie come out for it, which is called Starship Troopers. Yeah, it's interesting. I don't know.
Greg Miller
Yeah, I think. I think the. The fun thing to play with with Helldivers would be the, you know, the brainwashed hoorah. We're behind the flag, ignoring the fact that we're committing genocide.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And so I think that's got to be the angle, Right. It's like. It's kind of like way more contained Finn from the Next Star or the second Star wars trilogy. Third Star wars trilogy. The new Star wars trilogy, where he, like, wakes up to the fact, like, hey, being a Stormtrooper sucks. Right. If you had one Helldiver person who was like, wait a second, why are we doing this? And what's going on? And uncovers the fact that Super Earth's actually the people behind the whole problem.
Stella Chung
I think that could be really cool. Yeah. And show Super Earth, maybe the history behind the lore. Because the thing is, I think the best thing that they can do, which I talked about this in a sub exclusive video on my KO Fi page, if you want to follow that.
Greg Miller
What's that?
Stella Chung
Calm co co-fee.comparallax Stella. Yeah, but, yeah, so I think it could be really cool because they could play into the aspect of like, oh, there's this guy we're following, he's the main character. Right. And then he dies.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah. And then someone else blew it apart. Yeah. Yeah.
Stella Chung
But then, like, if you do that too many times, that kind of loses the charm.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
And also for mainstream viewers who are watching the movie, what's happening?
Greg Miller
Yeah. I think you gotta. I would imagine you lean into the intrigue and the brainwashing and everything else.
Stella Chung
I think so.
Greg Miller
I don't know, whatever the Helldivers movie is going to be, Stella, it's going to be big news. Gonna be huge news. If I wanted something smaller, say the tiniest news items I needed to know about, where would I go?
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
I don't know.
Stella Chung
Yeah. I'm really tired of all this big news, you know. So I think you would go to your last story, the WE News Channel, where you cover all the small news items you need to know about.
Greg Miller
Yeah. Number five, the WE News. Lego and Nintendo are collaborating on a Lego Game Boy set gonna release in October 2025. I don't think there's images of it yet. I think it's just the announcement of it. Similar to how today they announced that they're doing bluey Legos as well too. But again, no real photos. Somewhere Power Wash simulator, Wallace and Gromit special pack has been announced. We're looking at right here if you love Wallace and Gromit.
Stella Chung
No, that terrified me as a kid.
Greg Miller
Yeah. No, I never liked it as a kid either. I don't know. No, this is. Well, this is it. No, that's.
Stella Chung
Oh, God. Look at his stupid little smile.
Greg Miller
Creepy V. Rising sales have topped 5 million. Botany Manor for PS5 and PS4 is now launching on January 28 in pocket pair developed over dungeon is now available on Switch. Kevin, I know you liked Power Wash. Are you going to come back for Wallace and Gromit?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I don't get the expansion.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Greg Miller
So.
Stella Chung
Yeah, I like the one for Lara Croft. Her manner like that made sense, right? She's. She's busy. We can clean her House for her.
Greg Miller
You know, there has to be story behind Power Wash Simulator if you want to use it. Of course, of course.
Stella Chung
Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It's just so relaxing. I definitely. I would go back, give me all the. The things.
Greg Miller
They did a time machine one for the DeLorean.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I know, sorry.
Paris Lilly
I just.
Stella Chung
Wallace and Gromit just freaked me out with the movie where like the. They were making the dog food and like he was the. The. The machine dog was gonna make him into a can of food. And that scared me as a child.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Those are the good guys. They stopped it.
Stella Chung
I know, but it still scared me. And then they put that. They put the. The robot guy into the dog can food. And I was like, as a child, I'm like, oh, my God, some poor dog's gonna open that and be so hungry.
Greg Miller
Sure. I would have ruined it with the food, I guess. I want to turn our attention to the super chats. Of course, if you're watching live on YouTube.com kindafunnygames you can super chat to be part of the show. Whatever Wavy says. Also, love to see you back at Kinda Funny Stella. Who else could bully Greg better than you? And good luck on the job search. Layoffs suck. Where's your head at? Are you looking for like another full time thing or are you looking to be like, I'm gonna do Parallax, Stella. I'm gonna do my own podcast. I'm gonna twitch stream, and then I'll do like appearances like you're talking about with Apex.
Stella Chung
I don't know, it's. It's tough because again, it happened in December where nothing's happening. Right. So I'll. I guess I'll see how January, February go. But I have been applying to a few positions.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Stella Chung
It's interesting. They're.
Greg Miller
I saw you. I think I put you. Who needs a cover letter? Why am I writing cover letters?
Stella Chung
Yeah, I know. As soon as I started doing it, I was like, like, oh, why? It's all gonna get read by AI Anyways. I'm gonna get tossed to the side. But yeah, there was. There was a. Interesting position at I think Activision. Activision for Call of Duty, which was like a producer.
Greg Miller
Oh, wow, cool. Yeah.
Stella Chung
And I always loved working with that team. It's actually really interesting. I also applied for like, actual news anchor positions too, because they were like entertainment.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Stella Chung
Video journalist positions open. I was like, I can do that.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah, sure. You definitely have the real.
Stella Chung
Yeah, yeah, we'll see. But then they might look at my twitch and go like, no, absolutely. Not. She's talking about wiping. She's talking about all these other things.
Greg Miller
Yang fam says hi. Stella, I just wanted to let you know I finally hit a lifetime PR 500 pound squat at my last competition.
Stella Chung
That's amazing. Oh, my God. That's incredible.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
Holy.
Greg Miller
How are you doing right now? I see your updates every so often. Like, I know you had a stretch there, right. You were injured or sick or something. Yeah.
Stella Chung
So I actually got long Covid, which is I'm okay now. But, like, it left me with POTS syndrome. So it's like anytime I sit, stand up, my heart rate and blood pressure fluctuate and even when I lay down and stuff, so.
Greg Miller
Gotcha.
Stella Chung
Any sort of movement where I'm like, doing exercises that require me to, like, bend over?
Greg Miller
Yeah, it's.
Stella Chung
It's very odd. But there's like a strict regimen that I have to follow with, like, getting enough salt in my diet, which is great because I love salty food. Perfect. Yeah. So it's little things of trying to figure out the new normal.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Stella Chung
And it's really tough. So I'm getting back into it and actually chat, I did not forget about you. I am making your Stella's intro boot camp workout. Yeah. Because they asked for it yesterday and I was like, yeah, let's do it. So, you know, we can do this journey together.
Greg Miller
Hell yeah. I love that.
Stella Chung
And are you gonna do it?
Greg Miller
Oh, no, I'm good. Zeke speak super chats and says, stella, thank you for your enshrouded streams. That's a game I love but never play anymore. And I'm happy other people are supporting it.
Stella Chung
I love it so much. If you've not played it is one of the best, best survival crafting games. I'm currently making a castle in it. If you want to come on and help me build the castle, that would be great.
Greg Miller
Teach me how to play. I want to go to the front where I had more of the other ones going on here. Hold on. I was like, where's the one? There was one. Here it is. Joe S. As Blessing in the chat says that he only poops without clothes on special occasions. What do you think those are? I mean, what do you want to treat yourself?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
He said when he's coming home, sometimes he starts taking his clothes. Clothes?
Stella Chung
Yeah, like up the stairs, you see, like, little pieces of his clothing.
Greg Miller
Logan Jensen gets the final super chat of the day and says, being from the LA area, I hope everyone is safe. Hart now living in Greg's favorite state. I'm just stuck in the snow. I'll get around to playing it.
Stella Chung
Greg, what's your favorite state?
Greg Miller
Well, it's a. It's a toss up here.
Stella Chung
Oh, okay.
Greg Miller
Either they're. Either he's referencing that he lives in Missouri or he's trying to be cheeky and he lives in Kansas.
Stella Chung
Why is. Wait, what? Why are those.
Greg Miller
But since he's using the Internet in his punctuation. Well, I mean, I guess he's from la, that would make sense. But he's using the Internet, which makes me think he's not in Kansas. They don't have running water or electricity yet. He must be in Missouri. You know, that would make more sense to me. Stella. That's another episode of Kind of Funny Games Daily in the bank already. Yep. Well, you get to come back and do it again tomorrow. And you're streaming with us today. You're eating Greek food with me here in a second.
Stella Chung
So you got enough going on. Yeah.
Greg Miller

I've been doing a lot more uploads and doing guide content, so if you like Marvel Rivals, I have a few character guides up there already. I will definitely be covering Invisible Woman. Only because she's really hot, so.
Greg Miller
Only because you're like I make Rivals content. But also because she's hot.
Stella Chung
Yeah, I'll make an exception for her. She's really hot. So fair enough.
Greg Miller
I appreciate that. Thank you for hanging out with us so much this week.
