B
I love you.
A
Thank you. Yes. I'm wearing my Pokemon. Gotta catch them all. Thing stumbled into Target.
B
Oh yeah.
A
Didn't realize it was Target Pokemon collab. Uh huh. And so we went over there and of course the section, I mean first off, you walk in, they immediately give Ben buttons and let him choose which Pokemon button he wanted. He flipped out. Then we went over to the section of course where the starter jackets were. Look like just a bomb went off. No, no jackets to be found. But they had the white and the. The white sweatshirt, the black sweatshirt. Ben got a Mewtwo notebook. They had a Trapper Keeper that I was trying to. It's kind of heavy.
B
He's not there.
A
He wasn't there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They some other stickers and stuff. I almost texted you. I was like, none of this is Tim stuff.
B
No, I appreciate that. I like the thought that matters. There's like Pokemon Go benefits right now.
A
Yeah. They had a whole bunch of cards like that. Coins and.
B
And all the stuff. That's exciting. I really liked your Commish Call. That was very clean. Sounded good, looked good.
A
I like working with you. You know what I mean? Of course. I'm one of your host, Greg Miller alongside Samir's father at Tim Gettys.
B
That's him Most.
A
How are you doing, Tim?
B
I'm great. Very. It's been very busy. It's one of those weekends where I feel like I didn't have a weekend.
A
Oh yeah.
B
Just continuing to just go. Yeah. I was at a wedding. I was at a. My friend had a baby announcement and I was part of both. So it's like I had to prep things and do things. How the baby to play. It went great. Great.
A
Yeah.
B
Very, very excited. More babies in my life, which I never thought would be a good thing. And now I'm like, well, if I'm going down with this ship, I want everyone. Yeah. What about you? How was your weekend?
A
It was great. Got to hang out a lot with Woody from Mixtape. He came over and stayed at the house.
B
What a guy. Him and Johnny Galvaton. Oh my God. If you haven't watched our Gamescast interview with the team, the Beethoven and Dinosaur team, the team behind the upcoming game Mixtape. Definitely give it a listen even if you're not interested in the game. It has been so heartwarming to see the amount of comments and social posts of people being like I was on the fence about mixtape or I wasn't interested or I didn't know what it was. I watched this interview, and now I am so hyped to play it next week. It's like, yeah, man. This is what it's all about.
A
Yeah.
B
Cool dudes making cool things, talking to other guys about it.
A
Did Woody go into his kind of funny fandom? Did he talk about that? Did he nerd out at all?
B
Not. He didn't. It was just very, very clear.
A
If you needed another reason to love these two. It's like last year at sgf, when I went to play mixtape for the first time, you know, PR was like. And by the way, like, you got to talk to Woody. And like, what do you mean? Like, they're like, he's a. He's a fan. Like, he's a Greg Miller. He knows you guys. He listens to everything. He's been around forever. That's where we hit it off and became fast friends. And then you jump to him giving my son piggyback rides through Golden Gate Park.
B
It's amazing. Did you see the amount of people that were convinced that Johnny Galvatron was actually just you in a wig? Because there was a lot of people like, dude, Greg's really got this accent.
A
Of course, it was our. Our wedding anniversary on Friday. So what I did is, like, I opened it up because obviously Jen knows them incredibly well too. I was like, look at these dorks. But I didn't get a chance to dive into what was going on over there.
B
Yeah, incredible stuff. You should check it out. It was an awesome interview. And it's. It's mainly because of them, I won't lie to you.
A
Right as we were going live, you know, Barrett's like, it's time to go live. I'm like, yeah, cool. I said, ah, fuck. When I looked at the chat, because somebody in the chat said, is anybody getting this Steam controller? So now I'm trying to refresh. I'm hitting I'm through, I'm to payment method, where it says, there seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again. Gonna keep tapping.
B
Yeah, just keep tapping. You know, I mean, eventually, maybe I get by 87.
A
Definitely get rid of them here. Don't worry. Yeah, Yeah. I had a great weekend too, Tim. My Saturday was very dad focus running to the point, you know, like, just doing, like, Costco errands, keeping Ben entertained. We're going to the park. We're doing blah, blah. Then we had Woody over. Auntie Luce came by too. We barbecued, did tacos. I fell asleep reading Ben books at, like, 9:45. So that's how tired I was. Maybe even earlier than that. But Saturday I woke up, did the whole thing as well. Ran myself ragged taking care of Ben. And then, yeah, Jen, Woody, Auntie Luce were going to go to the Academy of Sciences, going to go over to Snowbird, going to do the whole nine yards there at 9th and Irving and. And I said, Jen looked at me and said, do you want to stay home? And I said, oh my God, I love you so much. And I stayed home and I did the laundry and I played redacted and finished it for review. And then I went to the skate park all by myself. And then I cooked dinner for everybody.
B
Whoa.
A
Killing it after.
B
That's crazy.
A
Big dad weekend. I feel good.
B
I love that. Very cool for you also. Happy nine year anniversary.
A
Thank you, Greg. Greg Way did get recorded on Friday. However, Napa Valley doesn't have the Internet yet. So it will go up today. You'll get a 30 minute me and Greg or me and Jen talking to me and Jen. Greg Way. That's why I confused it, man. Imagine if you could marry yourself.
B
It'd be great. I would do it.

Said so happy to see the number one and number two Pokemon fans at Kinda Funny hosting together. Do you have a shirt from Target? The exclusive drop?
B
No, I have a more important shirt.
A
Yeah, The Diary of a Madman. You know what I mean? People say I'm the crazy one. You're walking around with a suicide note on your chest. All right, I ain't got time for this. What is your shirt?
B
My Naked Jakey shirt.
A
God damn it. How many times have I said that? Why did you say that when we said that it was a naked J shirt? I ordered two pieces of Naked Jake apparel though.
B
Hell yeah.
A
I love Naked Jacob, everybody. I also love the news and that's what we're going to get into. So without further ado, let's begin with what is and forever will be the Roper Report. Time for some new seven items on the Roper Report. Baker's Dozen. Damn, Barrett, you brought it with that. Congratulations. I appreciate that. An update for all of you. I'm still clicking. Continue. And nothing's happening. Number one on the Roper Report GameStop makes a daring $56 billion bid for eBay, hoping to rival Amazon we go to CNN, where Hannah Zaides has a report. GameStop has offered to buy e commerce giant eBay for $55.5 billion, a tie up that the video game retailer's boss believes could produce a quote legit competitor through Amazon.
B
Okay.
A
The offer comes amid something of a revival at ebay, which has pushed to reinvent itself in the face of rising competition from the likes of Walmart, Amazon, Shein and Facebook marketplace. GameStop, which became a household name during the meme stock craze of 2021, has offered $125 per share for ebay, half in cash and half in stock, the company announced Sunday. That represents a 46% premium to eBay's closing share price on February 4, the day GameStop started building a 5% stake in the company. It's an audacious bid, targeting a business nearly four times its size. As of Friday, GameStop is worth was worth, I should say, $11.9 billion, which is while eBay was valued at $46.2 billion, according to fact sheet data. EBay's shares were up 9% in pre market trading, while GameStop shares pointed to a sharply weaker opening after gaining 6.3% on Friday. In a letter to the chair of eBay, GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen said the company would cut costs at ebay and make it more profitable. He also sees benefits in combining GameStop's brick and mortar stores with ebay's online presence. GameStop's about 1,600 U.S. locations give eBay a national network for authentication, intake, fulfillment in live commerce, he noted. It could be a legit competitor to Amazon, cohen said about ebay in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Gamestop plans to fund the buyout through cash and debt, which includes a commitment from TD securities for up to $20 billion. Launched in 1995, eBay remains among the top US retail e commerce sites but has lost market share as the field has widened, according to Emarketer, a market research company. The company got a boost from the COVID 19 pandemic didn't we all? And has tried to build on that momentum by investing in artificial intelligence. Jesus. A decision that has endeared its shareholders. EBay's share price is up around 52% over the past year and the stock has gained 188% since since the start of 2020. Last week, eBay reported a 19% increase in first quarter revenue. It said that its gross merchandise volume, or the total value of all transactions between users, jumped 18% to $22.2 billion. GameStop shot to fame five years ago during the meme stock craze when an army of retail investors piled into the stock, sending its value soaring in an attempt to squeeze professional traders who are who are betting that the company's share price would fall. The company's brick and mortar business has struggled against a shift among its customers to online streaming and digital downloads. Cohen has led GameStop since January 2021. During his tenure, the company has swung from a 381 million net loss in 2021 to a 418 million of net income in the latest financial year ending January 31st. Tim, there's a lot of numbers I threw around.
B
Yeah, you did.
A
There's a lot to talk about. Uh huh. But I do want to pull in a piece of context from Aftermath's Luke Plunkett's reporting. Okay. As Reuter points out, as Reuters points out, this is both an unusual and very risky deal. Two paragraphs from Reuters. Now, a potential deal would upend the usual M and a that's merger and acquisitions, of course, playbook. As it is rare for a company to Target 1 nearly 4 times its size. Such deals typically rely on heavy debt, stock, insurance or both, banking on future earnings of the combined company to justify the cost. Cohen said he has lined up financial commitments, including a commitment letter for about $20 billion in debt from TD bank and may seek backing from external investors, including Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, to fund the deal. We're back to Luke. In other words, the deal would saddle the company with enormous amounts of debt and seems reliant on a source of finance that, as we've literally only just discussed, is very much starting to dry up. If you're wondering why GameStop would bother, you might find the answer in the fact we talked about this on Games Daily and how fucking crazy this was. If you're wondering why GameStop would bother, you might find the answer in the fact that CEO Ryan Cohen, who publicly claims he currently receives no compensation for his role, will be paid $35 billion if he can get the company's value to $100 billion a moonshot that a deal like this seems specifically tailored towards. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. I remember when we talk, we're like, how would this be possible? How could you even do that?
B
There's a simple answer by ebay. Yeah.
A
I. When this headline broke over the weekend, I looked at it. I'm like, oh, that's really interesting. EBay buying GameStop. That might. When I was.
B
Wait, no, that'll seem some things.
A
No, the fucking guy. The company that has so many spears in it has been bleeding for years, man.
B
I mean, the snake's on a planification, but it actually worked. Of the whole meme stock thing of like saving gamestop from certain death because now they have an insane amount of money because a bunch of people are like, we're going to disrupt this entire thing. And here we are with all the stonks and blah, blah, blah. This is just wild though. And it sucks because, like, I love ebay. It has problems. It's gotten really shitty over the years in some ways. It's gotten really good in others. I actually use it a fair amount to. To buy stuff.
A
Okay.
B
And I leave them alone. You know what I mean? Go buy open AI. Go buy something that we want to die.
A
You know what I mean?
B
Buy something to fuck up.
A
Buy something to kill.
B
But yeah, man, this. This is ridiculous. But yeah, we can easily kind of tie the origin of this back to this clear strategy of dudes are trying to make cash money.
A
Yeah.
B
There's a sole goal of specific people that are doing this for reasons that are incredibly transparent and nothing good comes from this. This is one of those situations you look at, you're like, there's no. Like, well, let's look at this side at least. It means it's like, no, this is horrible. We've seen what GameStop has done to its storefronts, like as its own business.
A
Yeah.
B
And the level to which it has fallen. GameStop used to be a joke. My, like my entire life there were things to joke about GameStop. But there was a love and reverence at the end of the day that all went away many, many, many years ago. And they've only become more and more of a joke. Whether it's the Funko Pops and T shirts and just insane amount of song, the hedgehog merch, or I think the even worse kind of social strategy they've been employing the last couple years that I think is very aligned with the type of people that won with the whole stonk war situation and it's not good. Like we, the amount of times we've covered GameStop doing something insane on their social feeds in the last year, it's like upsetting.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Any goodwill you had towards that company in EB Games even, and yada yada is gone. Just the way they've run this, the way they've done this, I, I'm not as you know, we've talked many times. I don't give sound financial advice. This doesn't seem like a real thing. Right.
B
Yeah, but the amount of times we've said that in the last couple of
A
years, then Elon Musk going to buy Twitter. No way.
B
Right? That is like such a good example. It's just like there's where there's a will, there's a way. And it's like I do think that there's a level of, of stubbornness of oh, you, you guys don't think I can do this? Oh, we're going to push and make it happen. When you have an insane amount of stupid funny money as well as the ability to just use debt as a
A
weapon around is everybody chases like fucking ghosts again. This fucking statement from the article, right, about ebay, right. Tried to build the momentum by investing in artificial intelligence, a decision that has endeared it to shareholders. Ebay share price is up around 52% over the past year. It's like Jesus. Like we, we talk about it and complain about it so much in the game sphere all the time of people throwing. They don't know what they're doing and they're throwing AI around to try to get make numbers go up. And here it is. EBay's like, oh fucking do AI. We'll lay everybody off and then AI can run the bids in the auctions and do the goddamn.
B
They'll make the funko pops.
A
We jump in here a few just headlines from around the Internet, right over on PR Newswire. Ebay confirms receipt of unsolicited proposal for games GameStop from GameStop. Ebay global commerce leader Yada Yada Yada has confirmed it has received an unsolicited non binding acquisition proposal from GameStop. Ebay has no discussion with or outreach from GameStop prior to receiving the proposal. Ebay's board of directors, in consultation with its financial and legal advisors, will carefully review and consider the unsolicited proposal to determine the course of action that it believes is in the best interest of the company and the eBay shareholders. You got that going on there over here? On finance, Yahoo. The headline is, GameStop's Ryan Cohen Sidesteps questions on how company will pay for ebay deal. Quote. The details are on our website now.
B
Go look at the website, you freaking morons.
A
Business Insider. Big short investor Michael Burry says he'll sell GameStop stock after the bold eBay offer. GameStop. Michael Burry revealed a position in GameStop in January, but he says that the CEO Ryan Cohen's bold plan to try and compete with Internet retail giants like Amazon is driving him to sell the stock. Quote, I may not last the week with my GameStop position fully intact, he wrote. I will certainly sell to an extent, perhaps all or some. But alas, no, not none. So that's going on there. And then over here we have. Yahoo. Had a headline I clicked on before. You know how they change the headlines as they go. GameStop stock falls after company proposes $56 billion deal for eBay. So it seems like even the people who have the stock in GameStop are like, we can't do this. Yeah, this ain't. This ain't real things. Ryan Cohen.
B
Yeah.
A
Unsolicited proposal that also is like. Yeah, when you cat call somebody on the street.
B
Yeah. It's like, when you have to put it that way, it sounds creepy as hell, man.
A
I mean that's kind of what it is. Bear with the live feeders. Do see it is down right now. 1.94. I'm sorry, $1.94. 7 point something. It better clicked away so far. But you see. Yeah, sorry.
B
I brought it to the last five days so you could see like how big that drop was.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
I leave ebay alone.
A
Leave ebay alone. I didn't know ebay was out like that. But I shouldn't surprise me that everybody's consolidating being a bunch of weirdos. Max says GameStop should buy Spencer's gifts and stay in its lane.
B
Respect Spencer. Okay, don't. Don't drag Spencer into this.
A
You wouldn't have seen as many dicks if you didn't go to Spencer.
B
Amen.
A
Into the.
B
You know, I learned a lot.
A
They're little gag gifts.
B
Yeah.
A
Penises and titties. I love them. The black light posters in the back.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, you're there, you're looking through all the different posters of like album covers you've never heard of and old movie posters, and every once in a while there's some titties you have to pretend you weren't looking at them. You know what I'm talking about.
A
Oh, I know 100 what you're talking about. They got the thing you touch with the lasers and your hair goes, you know. Joey Radstone says Gamestop playing with fake money while many struggle to eat. Well, I have a problem with corporate America in general there, Joey. Probably. JRPG says I swore off GameStop after they tweeted AI Trump art and glazed him for quote unquote ending the console war.
B
It's just wild behavior.
A
Yeah. You know, it's just Riley desperate to stay relevant. Yeah, I mean, like they are grasping at straws. Back to where I was like, oh, ebay is going to buy them. I guess I could kind of see that making sense. Oh no, they're trying to buy them, which I didn't know you could do. You could just throw that out there and like make headlines. We should try to buy somebody. Just say we're going to.
B
But then the stock tanks. So there's a strategy there. Maybe they're doing this on purpose. Maybe this is the Reddit people once again.
A
Oh, wow. On that one. I'm clicking my continue button on Steam. Nothing's happening. We move to story number two. Kofi Kingston and Xavier woods part ways with WWE. This is Subhojit Muck. He g over@ringside news.com Kofi Kingston and Xavier woods are out of WWE and that means once. That means one of the most important tag team runs in modern WWE history is officially over. Kofi Kingston and Xavier woods are doubled up for some reason after both men were moved to the alumni section of WWE's website. Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Kingston and Woods had mutually decided to part ways with the company. New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier woods have mutually decided to part ways with wwe. Fightful select and Corey Hayes of Bodyslam have learned that's a massive exit. Kingston and woods helped turn the New Day into one of WWE's biggest acts of the last decade. Alongside Big E, the group became a multiple time tag team champion, held the record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE history, and turned a Rocky debut in into one of the company's most successful acts. With his exit, his 16 year run in WWE has come to an end and we're talking about Kofi there. Kofi's run also included one of WWE's biggest feel good moments ever when he won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35. We were there, we were there, we lived that. Woods carved out his own legacy as well, winning king of the ring and becoming a key part of WWE's crossover presence through gaming media and up, up, down, down. Tim, I was coming back down from putting out the compost when you sent me this link and a no, it was wild, man.
B
This was news that dropped yesterday morning and obviously it sucks to see, you know what I mean? We are obviously friends. We are fans of the new day, have been for a very long time and you want to see their continued success in any way possible, of course. And just news like this, there's always the. There's the questions of is this a good thing, is this a bad thing? They're using mutual. We don't know the facts of a lot of the situations as are kind of to break, but to wake up and have the new day on the alumni section of ww.com without any like, especially after how things have been the last year or so with them where, you know, this article starts saying one of the most important tag team runs in modern WWE history. It's like, screw that history of professional wrestling. Like they are some of the all time goats. And I don't think that that could be debated.
A
No.
B
Whether it's from the actual accolade accolades that they achieved or just from the duration of the run. Right here we're talking about Kofi Kingston for how long he's been there. Cozy Bear on his most recent game show that he did during kind of Funny Happy Hour. One of the questions was like ranking WWE wrestlers by tenure. And it's just so surprising at how far back Kofi Kingston goes with all of that. But yeah, the two of them, absolute legends in my heart and in the minds of millions out there. And the reason we're here talking about on Games Daily, obviously we're friends with Xavier Austin, but also it's just like why we're friends with him. We're friends with him through video games more than it is through the WWE side.
A
100%. Yeah. I think that's if you are new around here or not connected or whatever it may be. Yeah, no, we're not just talking about this because we're friends. We're talking about it because of course Xavier woods, aka Austin Creed has an incredibly successful YouTube channel called Up Up down down that he was doing through WWE. It's how we met him in 2015. We had just gone. He had just started Up, Up, down down. And he came to the game stage we were doing on E3 for the kind of funny cross Gamespot stage. And you know, you can go back and watch that clip on Kind of Funny right now. And you see me and him fall in love with each other and become best friends because it was. I'm booking that show. GameSpot's whole thing for us was like, we'll cover the gaming demos. We want you to bring in your celebrity connects and people to have fun and talk about it. And so when WWE hit me up about, hey, one of our wrestlers is starting a gaming channel, I totally rolled my eyes. And I say the story all the time, right. I'm just like, not that I was like, wrestling. Wrestlers can't like games. I know how many wrestlers like games. I know how hard it is to run a YouTube channel and take this seriously. And so when woods came on that set and then hit it off and then started talking, I was like, oh, no, he's got it. He knows what he's doing. He knows what it's going to be. And that's why. Up, up, down, down. You know, it's season finale of their Battle of the brands. 2025 is their last thing up from a month ago. It says, like, they continue to upload content that has been successful, that has been crossover. And I think that's where we really start getting into this. Of course, woods has done so much with us, so much with Dan Reichert. Whether it be anywhere. Dan is so much. When he was one of the hosts of G4's revival.
B
I know, like, that's. That is the biggest thing, right? Is like, that he had that position where he was one of the core faces of G4 when it came back.
A
Yeah. And so you get to this point of, like, that's why this wrestling news is getting coverage here is because it's an incredibly exciting time, you know, you and me. I. You, I. You texted me, then hours later followed back up, like, what do we want to do? And I'm like, I went to Instagram and immediately started getting photos of me and Kofi and Austin throughout the years, and I stopped myself. Like, no, I. I was starting to write a thing. Like, they're dead. Like, I'm doing a memorial when I'm texting Austin. You know what I mean? It's like, no, that's not what this is. This is incredibly exciting because what does it mean for them? Is it what everybody would think and how the Internet's been treating it and how MJF is treating it? It's like, here we go. Aew, what's going on? Kenny Omega, let's go get all these dream matches we want. Or is it that something Austin has been clear about on kind of funny in every other interview he's done of he knows he can't take bumps forever. He'd love to be able to go do something like this and just play games and talk about games.
B
And that's the biggest thing to me is like we've said this before on shows, I think we said this last time he was here when he chopped all of us birthday a couple years back. But he is the hardest working human being I have ever met. I know so many people that work so hard and give their all into their passion. He is the most passionate person I know. It's multiple passions, right? It is the wrestling side, it is the video game side and he puts equal amounts into both. And I don't know how he does that. It's like he literally doesn't sleep. You see him wake up, go to the gym, do all the things he needs to do and then run a YouTube channel. And there's been times he ran that YouTube channel with a lot more support. We know behind the scenes there's been times he's ran it where he's just a YouTuber, he's a solo guy, maybe with a couple friends like trying their best to get things uploaded, make the thumbnails, do all of it. It's like there is a grind that he has that is the most admirable thing. And on top of all that, he's an awesome person. He's amazing.
A
Yeah, you ate all that.
B
That's so hard.
A
He's a family guy, you know what I mean? Like he has a family that he cares about and loves and when you know, ever I, you know, before would be complaining about a travel schedule he'd put up his and how these things where he's shooting back just to have an evening with his family, to then go back out and do G4 in LA, to then go to wherever wrestling is, to go to this whole thing and da da da da. Like it's easy. It's crazy because Kofi and New Day have been WWE for so long that it's crazy to think about them not being there. But it's also exciting for them personally of what do they get to go do? Absolutely. They want to go shake this out.
B
And on the gaming side, he is one of those guys that loves video games so much that obviously now with the Steam Deck and portable handhelds like that, like things have changed a bit. But he was one of those guys that on every flight would bring the game screen, the game screen would, would plug PS5 Xboxes, whatever it is. Into the plane to be able to play on all of his flights. Like that's a level of dedication that like you have when you are a true like gaming is my passion type guy.
A
So.
B
Yeah, love all that. And just. Yeah, it's like the, the memorialization of New Day. Like to me it's more just about celebrating them because like they are such a unique group of people.
A
Yeah.
B
The power of positivity. Like they, they heel turned and it was an amazing heel turn. It was not followed up. Well, whose responsibility was that? I do not blame them.
A
No, you know what I mean?
B
See what they're able to do. And I just think it's, it's very important that even if you don't care about wrestling or whatever, it's important to know that these guys were given such a. End of the stick with the. Every time the, the way that they, their, their characters were written, the way they were grouped together in the early days and they turned a joke into one of the most renowned, highest selling merch brands that the WWE has ever had.
A
Yeah.
B
They were able to like be a brand where the new day. These guys, these three best friends, you can see how best friend they are. Right. It like permeates every single thing they do. And it's like that power of positivity pushed through in a field that feeds off of good guy, bad guy dynamics and all of this.
A
There's just something being cutthroat. You know what I mean?
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Try to, you know, go watch, you know, anything about Hulk Hogan, like fucking other people over to get yourself, you know, to the top of the card.
B
Yeah.
A
And they never did that.
B
They never did.
A
They're beloved. And that's why you saw so many people this weekend in the wrestling world sharing how much they love them.
B
Yep.
A
And then a lot of fans, I think, you know, again, not to mourn Kofi and Austin. Right. But to mourn New Day in their passing. It isn't yet another one as we have a super chat from Joshua that says TKO is ruining this company. Another arrow in that quiver of the conversations of what the fuck is going on? Yeah, man. Like, how is it this bad?
B
It's disgusting ducks over there. But very excited to see what this means for them because that hard work that they do and that they have in them is not going to stop. So whatever they're doing, whether it is wrestling, whether it's not the idea of Xavier going full into video games, Austin, so excited to me, 100%.
A
Yeah, of course. And you know, as soon as he's ready. Give us a ring. Austin Creed. We got jobs for you. We got things for you to do over here. We'd love to have you do more with us. And I will tell you this, I'll put this on the record. If New Day goes to aew, I will start watching aew. There you go.
B
That's it.
A
That's it. That's it. That's a pizza bet. We're betting. But that's what it is. But yeah, a shocking turn of events. But then also again, we don't need to get into the wrestling wrestling of it. But what you just talked about, if you don't know when they went bad guys, what a fucking moment that has been wasted. Just fucking.
B
And they made the most of it.
A
They did. Oh, again, this isn't on them at all. Again. You know, in the aftershocks of this, going through all the feeds and seeing everybody be like, this is how TKO is fucked up tag teams. You're like, damn, yeah, they really don't give a shit about that. But that's a conversation for wrestling games daily, which we're not doing right now. Instead I will click the Continue button and not a goddamn thing has happened. You know what I mean? And then it's like, Greg, maybe I go, here's what we'll do. Originally three to four days. Then one of the refreshes seven to ten. And this was just like, we don't fucking know.
B
We don't know, man. Listen, we'll figure it out.
A
We don't know when it's going to happen. Story number three. We finally have word from Reggie on why Nintendo left Amazon. This is Brian over at Nintendo Everything. Reggie Fils Aimee, former president of Nintendo America, has shared behind the scenes information as to why the company stopped selling WE and DS systems to Amazon back in the day. Over the years, the two companies have had a bit of a tumultuous relationship. It's caused the two sides to stop working together on multiple occasions. One of the first instances of this was during the WE Slash DS era. According to Reggie, Amazon had an illegal demand. Essentially the retailer, quote, wanted an obscene amount of support so that it could have the lowest price and beat Walmart, end quote. While Nintendo pointed out that this couldn't be allowed. That's what Amazon wanted. There was an impasse here with both sides not wanting to budge. Reggie said the following during an NYU Game center lecture series talk. At that time, you know, just in the Americas, I was selling 10 million DS a year. We're driving a lot of revenue. We had a lot of scale. And at that time Amazon was looking to get bigger into the video game space. Amazon's mentality back then is they wanted to have the lowest price out in the marketplace, even lower than Walmart. And one of their executives called me. Well, it wasn't a conversation that got to. Well, it was a conversation that got to me after it had progressed through all of the levels of my sales organization. And essentially what Amazon wanted is wanted an obscene amount of support, financial support, so they could have the lowest price and beat Walmart. I literally said to the executive, quote, you know that's illegal, right? I can't do that, end quote. You know, you get silence on the other, end quote. But this is what I want, end quote. Literally we stopped selling to Amazon and it's because I wasn't going to do something illegal. I wasn't going to do something that would put the risk, that would put at risk the relationship we have with other retailers. But it also set the stage to say, look, you're not going to push me around. This is the way we do business. And so that's how over time you build respect. End quote. As recently as 2024, there was another year in which as recently as 2024, there was another year in which Nintendo and Amazon had stopped working together. However, they patched things up for the Nintendo Switch to launch. Information later came to light about what happened to cause the two sides to pause their relationship.
B
This shit's wild. How much real business in the world. It's just dudes, egos.
A
But I want it.
B
It's like that's it. And it's just like how, how do those egos deal with each other in that moment in time, you know?
A
Yeah.
B
That shapes millions if not billions of dollars in the industries that we love. Like, it's just wild to look at the history of Nintendo and Amazon and how much back and forth there's been like what he, he's talking about the DS and we era. Since then Nintendo has been on and off of Amazon I think like three or four times. And I doubt it's for the same reason. Exactly it is at the end of the day. Just because it's a bunch of dudes, egos just like what's going on there. But like the ramifications of that ego of, of that pushing and trying to do something illegal here to give Amazon the upper hand meant that Nintendo's most popular systems at the time were not on the at least America, if not worldwide most popular marketplace.
A
Definitely a growing marketplace at the very least. Right. For that time period that was going on. Yeah. And it's like, is that the better deal? You know, you flew close, too close to the sun on this one. And rather than get them at the lowest price possible, you didn't get any.
B
Yeah.
A
And it was weird forever and it has been forever of even us back channeling with people we know of, like this is going to be there. Should we do this? Should we do that? What are we looking for?
B
Yeah. And it's like there is a lot of kind of debates between the different major retailers of like if there is only X amount of product available and it's a high demand product.
A
Yeah.
B
How do you divvy that up between Walmart and Amazon and GameStop and all that. These are real discussions. That's why there's sellers and buyers at the companies to. To go out and kind of make arguments, and then you need to keep those relationships going with everyone. When you push Reggie. Reggie. You don't fuck with Reggie the Reginator. He'll fuck back.
A
He will fuck back. Don't be, you know, don't push him. Crazy and interesting, though, because it's always been a question of what the fuck's going on over there. Now we know. Dudes, egos. Number four. Tim, you like Pragmata, right?
B
So damn much.
A
Well, good news. You're probably getting more. We go to Andy Robinson at VGC News. Capcom has shared encouraging words on the future of the Pragmata franchise.
B
We covered this on Friday.
A
Oh, thank you so much for telling you. I missed that one.
B
Sorry, I didn't see that. But I'm excited to talk about it
A
again, you know, you're fine.
B
Pragmata. Awesome.
A
Yeah.
B
Well, I want to talk about Pragmata, though. Any chance I get. I got a nice text from Andy over the weekend. I don't want to speak for him, but I agree with his thoughts on the game.
A
Andy.
B
I saw Andy in there. He's in there.
A
I know. Yeah, but I still got to yell through the door, I question you.
B
I know you have a lot of games to play, and it's like there were so many games in early April that we all kind of had to divide and conquer. I matter.
A
Wasn't on your gimme, Andy. Thanks, Mike.
B
I know. Pray Matta wasn't on your line far.
A
Yeah.
B
Are you planning to go back? Are you giving it a shot? Have you played at all?
A
Oh, I've played the demo again at sgf where I was like, yes, this is my shit. And then by the time we got review codes, I was on two other reviews, and so then it was okay. Now I'm off of reviews for three days before two reviews come. What goes first? Pragmata or replaced? Replaced. Game first. I've been waiting a long, long time for that. But welcome to the stage, the Nitro Rifle himself, the biggest San Antonio spurs fan I know who must be pretty juiced about where they're going, right?
B
Game one tonight.
A
Yeah. I saw something on the Reddit. I was like, it looked like good news for them. Good. Andy, Tim's got questions for you.
B
Oh, you text me about Pragmata? What do you have to say about prank mana? I said blessing Roger on crack. See, here's my thing. I didn't know.
A
I felt About Mike on replaced where I was like, I'm with Tim on replace replace.
B
This I was, I was more, I wasn't looking for you to slander them. I was more looking for you to talk about.
A
Let's just say it.
B
Do whatever you want.
A
Blessing Roger and Mic suck.
B
No, I, I, I really liked it. I love also this naked G. The game gameplay rocked. Obviously. I had a lot of fun with the gameplay. I wasn't as enthused with the story and the characters until I just kept on playing and gotten more out of them. And the ending just, it got me, got me real good like. And as a father cry. Yeah, as a father, it really affected me.
A
It's, it's loaded to your question on the rog. Like I'm ready to roll with pragmatic as soon as I get that gap again. But the problem is now I'm on redacted and redacted and redacted just came in today. So that's three redacted. One of those redactors I beat over the weekend. So I'm all set. But two more redact. So it's like, I'll get there when I get there.
B
Yeah, it's a good, good video game. Really, really enjoyed. What would you put on the kind of funny scale? I give it an 8 out of 10. Great.
A
Yeah, a great game.
B
It was like it was leaning 7, 5, 8 and then by the end of it I was like, Maybe this is 8, 8, 5, because that ending was, it was so strong. Like, holy shit, they really crushed it. But yeah, I'd probably land around an 8. Easy recommendation.
A
Awesome.
B
Play that shit. The game rocks.
A
Thank you, Andy.
B
Sounds like we're getting a sequel. It's exciting.
A
Time we talked about this on Friday.
B
Yes, we did.
A
Okay, Just making sure. We'll move on to story number five. Halo Studios is actively developing remakes of Halo 2 and 3. It's claimed. This is Andy Robinson at VGC News. This is news.
B
Yes, it is.
A
Halo Studios is actively developing remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3 in addition to this year's Unreal Engine 5 powered version of Combat Evolved. It's claimed. That's according to Rebs Gaming, which claims to have received proof from sources that the entire original Halo trilogy is receiving the remake treatment. Quote, one of my new sources sent me proof to verify themself and confirm that the Halo 2 and Halo 3 remakes are definitely happening. They said active development is underway. They are in early development. According to the sources, Combat Evolved's remake will even include content from the other two Halo entries such as Brutes, as nods to those games in its new prequel missions. Brutes may even make an appearance in the original Combat Evolved missions via a planned new Skull modifier. It's claimed. It's believed that Halo Studios is working on a new multiplayer project and the next mainline Halo game in addition to remakes. Back in October 2024, Halo Studios announced it was working on multiple Halo games that were being developed within Unreal Engine 5. The first of those, Halo Campaign Evolved will. I'm sorry, was announced for Xbox, PlayStation 5 and PC last year and is set for a 2026 release. Timothy Geddes, you love Halo.
B
I do. I loved my time with Halo Campaign Evolved. I obviously have a lot of questions like why isn't there multiplayer when that is like such a core important part to what the Halo experience is specific. Halo 1, 2 and 3 looking here, I imagine they're just going to continue the Campaign Evolved trajectory of just remaking the campaigns. Nothing wrong with that. We're talking about some incredible campaigns. I think that there is a lot of room to tweak and add things to those, such as four player multiplayer. Back when I think it was like limited to two, if I remember correctly, on Halo 1, all that type of stuff. It being on PlayStation for the first time.
A
Sure.
B
Exciting to an extent. Right. I. I'm excited to replay these games. Do I think it's going to set the world on fire? Absolutely not. Do I think it's going to very well on PlayStation 5? I do. Like, I think we're gonna get a couple million out of that. Like that's.
A
Do you think price plays into it?
B
Not really, like to an extent, sure. But I just think, well, the Forza numbers are wild. Right. But that is new quality game.
A
Yeah.
B
Very different than 30 year old video game being remade. The buzz around that there's no escaping it. No matter how good Campaign Evolved ends up being, no matter how good the three new levels that they add to it are, the conversation and headlines are all going to be about no multiplayer. It feels like they're putting out a product that is inherently flawed because there are expectations that are not being met from the jump. Right?
A
Yeah.
B
Even though they've made it very clear what this is, that doesn't stop the expectations of it all. So this to me is one of those, this is good news. But it also, I feel like is riddled with reason to be like, all right, well, Halo's still kind of stuck in the mud here and I'm talking about all right. They're making Halo 1 Campaign Remake 2, 3. Sure.
A
Game.
B
All right. And we've heard enough rumblings about all of those things to some extent that we know kind of what they could be. But I, I, at this point, don't have confidence in them.
A
Are you? So talk to me then, in 2026, as a halo fan from way back in the day and throughout the ip, when you hear this. All right. Hey, we're getting Halo campaign evolved, Halo 2 campaign. We assume Halo 3 campaign, a new multiplayer project. The next mainline Halo game. Is that too much like. I feel like it feel. I feel like there needs to be a focus on what Halo is in 2026 going forward. And I understand Campaign Evolved. Okay. It's the 25th anniversary of Xbox. We're going to PlayStation. We're doing all these things. Sure. But then to go also be doing two, to also be doing three, to also be doing a new. Like, like, are you going to flood the market? And is there an appetite for Halo that way?
B
I. I'm not too concerned because how many of these projects actually see the light of day?
A
Sure.
B
When and when. Like, I think that the Halo 1, 2, 3 remakes, it's. I don't think those get in the way of anything because they are much shorter experiences. They're known quantities. Like we know what that is. And I think that at the end of the day, the biggest thing is PlayStation 5 release. Like, we're just now putting out iconic stories and gameplay somewhere that hasn't experienced them before.
A
Yeah.
B
The Halo multiplayer thing that right now is currently potentially an extraction shooter. We'll see if that sees the light of day. There's been so much talk about battle royales forever, and that didn't happen. So it's like, I just don't believe it yet. So I. I think that right now there's a bunch of things that they're working on, but I don't think we see all of the things. So I don't think it'll be too much Halo. I think the conversation of us talking about all this stuff already feels that way, but we already know from what they have said and what we have seen, this is all kind of them getting used to Unreal Engine 5 to work on the next thing, because they've been working on Slipspace before. And this is. This is kind of the test bed, whether it's the remakes or potentially whatever this multiplayer project is for the next big Halo.
A
Okay, fair enough. How long before you think we see the multiplayer project or the next mainline Halo.
B
I could not even give a guess that feels educated at all.
A
Yeah,
B
I would. I'm as I'm in a place where I equally believe that it's like, oh, in two years. And I also just believe like, oh, they're gonna keep trying and then this iteration is going to get canceled and it'll have to be something else. Like, I just. I don't know.
A
That's fair enough. I just want to see if you had anything kicking around. No, I know in the shower you like to think about Xbox News.
B
I do.
A
Sure. If it was up there. What's happening?
B
The Summer room Excited for Campaign Evolved.
A
Okay. When's that coming out? 2026, sure.
B
But like, yeah, I mean, you wait
A
now till what, SGF and the Xbox presentation and get dates for that. Yeah, get dates for that.
B
I mean, that. That definitely I think, is where we'll hear about it. August feels right. Potentially July.
A
Okay, fair enough. We move on to story number six. Capcom has commented on the DLSS5/Resident Evil drama this is Michael Cripe at Ignition. Resident Evil Requiem producer Masato Kumazawa has said Capcom sees the drama surrounding the DLSS5AI version of Grace Ashcroft as a quote unquote positive because it proved Capcom, quote, got the design right on the first time around. Kumazawa offered a deep dive into the development of the latest entry in the classic survival horror franchise during an interview with Eurogamer. When asked if the team took anything away from the conversation regarding controversial Nvidia tech, he said the negative reaction only served as proof fans preferred Grace's original design. The fact a lot of players commented they really liked the original design of Grace and didn't want to see it changed was a positive, he said. Without commenting on Capcom's involvement in the DLSS5 reveal. It meant we got the design right, and points to the fact that Grace quickly established herself as a fan favorite that people had such strong opinions about her design. The footage revealed by the tech giant attempted to sell its DLSS5 update as the next step in gaming visuals, but was immediately met with criticism almost entirely across the board. While games like The Elder Scrolls 4, Oblivion, Hogwarts Legacy and Starfield were all featured in the reveal video, it was Resident Evil Requiem, specifically Grace Ashcroft that was established as the face of the most fans. I'm sorry. Established as the face of most fans dissatisfaction, Most compared the DLSS5 version of the character's face to the kind of AI filters featured on some social media apps. One popular fan comment at the time said quote, this is horrendous. Like someone put an AI filter on it. Like it's not even Grace. I love seeing my Comfort character turned into a sloppy AI mess. Added another at least some Capcom developers seemingly did not know about. Nvidia had plans to include Resident Evil Requiem in the DLSS5 showcase prior to its reveal. Bethesda also later acknowledged the backlash, explaining that its artists would have more control over the technology and would hopefully avoid AI criticisms in the future. Capcom has said it plans to utilize AI to help it during game development, but will still steer clear of generative AI in the meantime. Kuzawa makes it sound like the players don't need to worry about Grace getting an AI generated makeover anytime soon.
B
I kind of love this take. Like this is the most, like, positive. Like you hear something, you're just like, yeah. And it's like just missing.
A
They're not mad at us.
B
Hey yeah. You know what? They're. Everyone is upset because they like. They love her design.
A
You're going to the art team. High five.
B
That's awesome. I'm good for them, right? 100 and also Grace has a great design. You do. Look at that. 100 if we see that character in another game we'll know it's her. Well, unless they pull a Chris Redfield or something as they're wanting. Yeah, they do. But like, yeah, good. Good for them. You know. I love that they're happy.
A
Let's take away the. Let's take away the right lessons from this. Everybody. Good on you. Great job. Capcom. Make sure you're listening at the highest of high levels. But Tim, a major publisher slash developer listening at the highest of high levels. CEOs not saying the darndest things. Would be huge news if I wanted something smaller. Say the tiniest news I need to know about, where would I go?
B
You'd go to our last news story, the WE News channel where we cover all the small news items that you need to know about.
A
Number seven, the Wii news. What's wrong? Come here.
B
Cole.
A
Cole woke up and he's got a look on his face like he just remembered he's here and not at his mom's house. Number seven. The Wii news. Lego is making a LEGO SEGA Genesis. The LEGO Sega Genesis console will be available on June 1st in priced at 39.99. It's 479 pieces. The building kit includes two detachable controllers, a game card that can be taken out of the console, plus sticker decorations.
B
Love it. I think I might really Yeah, I, I'm, I try to be picky about
A
the legos that I. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
And a lot of them I now have like a further, like, future plan where I'm like, I have a daughter. So me buying these things and not actually building them and stuff. Like, stuff. It's an investment.
A
Yeah, yeah, those. Open build them with her.
B
Exactly. And the, the Genesis one, I'm like, all right, cool. This, this looks cool to me. I've always liked the look of the Genesis. I know that's a contentious thing here, kind of funny. But Also, Sonic Hedgehog 2 is being featured. Big fan of that.
A
Yeah.
B
And also the price of it. Not incredibly insane. $40. Very surprised. Because some of the other ones, I'm like, I'm not paying that. I'm just simply.
A
Sure, sure. Yeah. LEGO can get outrageous. In the chat. There's. It's already gone where somebody said, an affordable Lego in this economy.
B
Yep.
A
Also, it needs to be pointed out that Cole, after waking up, just walked to the studio door and headbutted it open and walked into the kitchen. Tim, you put this one in. Mariachi Legends is coming. Day one to Xbox Game Pass this year.
B
Oh my God, this game looks incredible. This one Andy and I have been talking about on gamescast for a while. It looks like a potential Metroidvania, but with a lot of stylish action, 2D platformer, incredible pixel art style, and it just is dealing with a lot of Mexican culture and it looks incredible. And the news here is day one on Xbox Game Pass. We didn't know that before, but also them talking about it, they're saying, 2026. This is the type of game we saw that. I was like, oh man, I hope it actually gets really good point, whatever. But like, yeah, this is like, oh, cool. We might be closer to this than I would have thought.
A
From the Steam description, Mariachi Legends is a brutal, pixel art, combat oriented Metroidvania set in the heart of Mexico. You play as Pablo Cruz, a detective who has agreed to deal with death herself. She has given Pablo the ability to transform into the mighty Lasombra, allowing him to fight back against evil. That's a cool setup.
B
It looks cool.
A
Kotaku reports this weekend, EVO at EVO Japan. Sorry. Sony and developer ARC Systems took the opportunity to announce two new additions to the roster for Marvel Fighting Souls. Savage Hulk. Hulk and Shuri as Black Panther will be rounding out the Avengers side of the fighting game's initial 20 character roster.
B
Someone recently was like, tim, you need to just listen to the Soundtrack of Marvel Token fighting souls.
A
Yeah.
B
And so I pull it up on YouTube and I'm just like bouncing around. Listen. Like Star Lord's theme and Gambit. Not Gambit. I forgot who the other guy was. Holy man. It is just the most dope ass. Like think about the energy of the X Men animated theme song.
A
Sure.
B
But just like turned up even more.
A
I like that one.
B
That's very, very cool. Excited for this game.
A
Blackjacket, a narrative driven roguelike deck builder where players gamble their souls against restless spirits in the afterlife will launch on May 12 across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch. And then rounding out Wii News, Wholesome Direct Digital showcase will be Saturday, June 6th at 9am Pacific. The showcase will be presented via YouTube and Twitch streams as part of summer Game Festival.
B
Can you read slip crits comment over there?
A
Slip crit says except spider man. Spidey's theme is penis music. Do we know?
B
I don't know. When I hear penis music nothing comes into my. My head.
A
A lot of flute.
B
Okay, I like that.
A
That's what I got.
B
Yeah, Craig, that's a good one.
A
Thank you. Thank you. And that's it for We News. We turn our eyes to the one, the only, the super chats over on YouTube.com kind of funny games where you can go to be part of the show. Kuma says dog treat Cole. Doggy treat. Fun for Cole. Thank you. Then we got Dumb dumb Death Star saying tim, will we get a screencast for Mall Shadow Lord? It's been so good and I know Nick has been loving it.
B
No promises. We're looking at the calendar. If things work out, I would like to. Yeah, I don't know that we were going to be able to do that but I am very happy that Nick's
A
watching it because I still want to introduce it to Ben.
B
It's so good.
A
Yeah. Nicholas super chats and says the Steam controller release was a hot mess now completely out of stock and we have been trying to check out with our in our cart for 45 minutes. Yes. I. It's like this is the. You know the first time gif like yeah, this happens every time anything that anybody wants on the in the video game world gets released on the Internet.
B
Look at this fucker. He can sit here. He has one. You know. I.
A
When will I get it? If you remember, the same thing happened with my Steam deck where I bought my Steam deck and I didn't get a Steam deck for like eight months or something stupid. Yeah, it was a good bit where I was always mad at People for having it. Controller. I'm not as like, but I want it.
B
Yeah, I want it, but solid controller.
A
I'm looking forward to doing it. Zane super chats with his membership for seven months and says Prague Mata was good nine out of ten. Was so good. Nine out of ten. Fair enough. The house is spoken. Super chats and says new day, Motor city, machine guns, FTR bucks, Christian. Who's the greatest tag team of the 21st century? Let's find out in Wembley. Come on. Aew.
B
I mean it could be.
A
That'd be epic. That'd be insane. Shady says, I got my steam controller during the ad break. Thank you for your positive vibes, best friends. You're welcome, Shady. But best friends. Why didn't you give those to Nicholas? Nicholas had it in his cart for 45 minutes and couldn't check out. Think about it.
B
Think about it. What'd you do?
A
Akuma also says, so happy to see Austin and kofi as the 12th and 13 members of Kind of Funny in the future. Kofi be an interesting hire, you know what I mean? Because he's not the biggest. He games but he's not Austin about it.
B
Yeah, he is funny though.
A
Yeah, but that's the thing. We already have. We already have a funny guy who doesn't game and doesn't understand shit and doesn't understand why he's. You know what I mean? We already have that.
B
We already have that covered.
A
You know what I mean?
B
But like, what if we had a funny guy who didn't really play games
A
who does understand shit? Fuck, that's a good point.
B
Trade.
A
Honestly, I just like. People are always like, bring the morning show back. Cool. From nine to ten, here's Nick and Kofi Kingston. Every day we give them no run of show. We just sit them down and see what happens. Yes, Joe Super Chat says may the fourth be with you all. Played bounty hunters with some beers and rewatched the Last Jedi as well. Ryan J still goaded. Cheers for the funny lady heads.
B
I. I was at Curran's house yesterday and as I've been saying on the show, his son Jax is obsessed with Star wars ships. And so he has his. His books that he reads. Yeah, he busted out his home book this time because I was at the house last time we're out in public. So he has the take on the go book. But then he has I like Real his home book. That is like the. His bible and the system he has Greg that I am obsessed with. They take sticky notes, okay? And every night he gets to choose five ships for his parents to. To read the bio of. And what they do is if he. If he memorizes one of the ships, he puts a sticky note on the page. And so then he needs to decide do I want to, like, learn more about a ship that I've already heard about, or do I want to get introduced to a whole new ship? And this book is just hundreds of sticky notes. I can't believe how much he's. He's into it. And so a lot of the. The girls were all hanging out like, like, talking, and the boys kind of took Jackson to the living room. We just threw Star wars on, and we're just bouncing between different scenes of the movies. And it was like the opening of Revenge of the Sith with, of course, Barrett would know what I'm talking about. It's 10 minutes, 15 minutes of just so many ships, ships everywhere. And he's just calling them out by, like, name and style. Like, dude, this kid's going far. Maybe not far right now because this is, like, useless information. When he could apply this to, like, chemistry or some. It's going to be crazy.
A
If he could do anything of that value with it, that would be humongous. I'm trying to scroll back and find it for you, but it's one of those things. Here it is. And what? Oh, yeah. Okay. So, yeah, like I said, Jen, Auntie Loose Uncle Woody, Ben rocking around the sunset yesterday. Right. So of course they go to Amazing Fantasy. And Ben had been given or had $20. I'm not sure what the origins of this story are. $20, that was his budget.
B
That's insane.
A
He has a piggy bank that he puts stuff in that.
B
Yeah, good for him.
A
Anyways, though, it was that he could spend it. So he went to all the different stores. They'd gone to Amazing Fantasy Comic Book Shop down on Irving, go check it out. And he had left and then went to these other shops, and he was finally like, no, I want to go back and I want to get the X Force figure that was there. And it was Grizzly. So he got this fucking everyone's favorite X Men character.
B
Grizzly.
A
Grizzly. And he fucking loves Grizzly now.
B
That's awesome.
A
He got a thing on the back. He swings two hammers. Pretty cool.
B
Hell, yeah.
A
But, yeah, last night, Grizzly had to be in his hands while we read books for, you know, the first two books. Then he had the rules got put over there. No big deal. The final super chat comes through. Silver J. Hawkins says played Forbidden Solitaire over the weekend and had a blast. Go check it out now. From the Steam description, Forbidden Solitaire is a card slashing horror game about unearthing the contents of a cryptic 1995 CD ROM that should have never existed. From the creators of Ancient Enemy and Home Safety Hotline. That sounds fucking awesome. I might check that one out. I might check that one out. I think it was bundled with a
B
titanium cord at some point last week as well.
A
I am titanium, you know what I mean? It's currently bundled with Inscription and there's a sorcery bundle so you got a whole bunch of stuff going on over there if you want to be part of that game. Thank you for the recommendation. I like that a lot. Of course we asked people watching live to keep us honest by going to kind offunny.com you'rewrong and telling us what we screwed up. Kebabs writes in and says slightly tangential gamestop news from my neck of the woods. EB Games New Zealand has now officially been replaced by the AU Australian branch of the brand with no brick and mortar stores here. It's a huge blow to physical games media purchasing here because now if I order one from them, it has to come from a neighboring country. We have no land border with wow, that sucks. That does suck. Same thing when I was talking to, you know, Woody Australia as well and how much all the games are over there. You know what I mean?
B
Yeah, not good.
A
And then Mr. Hawks gets in with an update. This is updated news. Last week I had Greg announce that Blaster, Goblin and I were in the top six Top six of the Mind's Eye dlc. That is outdated information. We are now the top two on the leaderboard.
B
Let's go. They say anything is possible and you just proved it.
A
If you just waste a lot of time and energy, you could have been doing anything else with. You could be on the Mind's Eye leaderboards as well, everybody.
