Today's stories include Shuhei Yoshida is stepping down from PlayStation, PlayStation's 30th anniversary celebration continues, and Marvel Rivals confirms five new characters of all this and more, because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily. Yo, what's up? Welcome to Kind of Funny Games daily for Monday, December 2, 2024. I'm one of your hosts. Blessing. Adio A Junior. Joining me is the master of hype, Snow bike Mike.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Good morning. Bless. Happy Monday, man. Great to see your smiling face after a nice holiday break.
Snow Bike Mike
Is it a happy Monday?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It's a pretty happy Monday. We're back in the studio. We're together talking games.
Snow Bike Mike
December. It's cold. It's fucking freezing in this office. For some reason, I woke up this morning expecting my Spotify wrap to be here. Oh, and it wasn't. I feel like usually it's the first, like, Monday of December.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You're getting excited.
Snow Bike Mike
I am getting.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Can you give me a preview of what we can expect on your Spotify?
Snow Bike Mike
Well, here's the thing.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of those years where I can't release it to the world because, like, I can't undo the Drake that I listened to in the first half of the year. Mike.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Hey, that's all. We all moved on. We had to move on the beat.
Snow Bike Mike
Too late in the year. I can't unlisten to all that Drake. And so, like, there's that. There's the. Even though I listen, every year, I'm like, I listen to less and less Kanye, okay? Because I'm like, I can't. I can't let this in my top five. You know, I don't want to show this off into the world. Somehow every year, he ends up in that number five spot, and I'm like, what did I listen to to get you there? Shenanigans are going on.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay, okay. Maybe we don't promote it. You know, this year will be filled with chaperone, probably some Sabrina Carpenter. The. The classic hits, the revolutions, the irations. You know, that's my reggae side.
Snow Bike Mike
The irations.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah. Oh, you haven't heard Iration? Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
I don't know about IR you'd love iration.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You'd love it.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, let me tell you, Sabrina Carpet are definitely in my top. Top five. Got to be my top five.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm going to say it right now. Espresso, song of the year.
Snow Bike Mike
Did that even come out this year? Was that this year?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Just calling it.
Snow Bike Mike
I mean, you might have. I mean, that album came out this year, but I feel like. But okay, this is what I'll say. Espresso is that even song of the album. That's because there's some. There's some bangers on that album.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
They're all good. I think Espresso is the song of the album, though.
Snow Bike Mike
Please, over the world. Come on. Please, please, please.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
She made nothing but hits.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, that album's incredible.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Childish Game being probably also in my top five. He released two albums this year.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay.
Snow Bike Mike
And I listened a lot to both of them. And then outside of that, it's hard to tell just based on, like, the fact that there are the artists that drop new albums that I listened to heavily for, like, that month.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
But then there are the art.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
The.
Snow Bike Mike
The Kanye thing is that he's old reliable. I'm always going back and listening to old Kanye.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You gotta go back.
Snow Bike Mike
It's like, if I got nothing to listen to, I'll put on some college dropout.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Put on some Jesus walks.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I love that.
Snow Bike Mike
Put on some can't tell me nothing. This vibe out.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm. I'm listening to a little Nelly Furtado lately.
Snow Bike Mike
Really? Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I don't know if you know, but over the weekend, I got my ppl. Why?
Snow Bike Mike
Why you. Okay. What's the ppl?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, the ppl Took some time to get my ppl. Of course, as you know. Bless. You have to go to a little bit of instruction classes. You have to go seek professional help before you can go get a ppl.
Snow Bike Mike
Is it the you don't want to have a child is what's. Is what this is? Oh.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, you think it's the ppl like that? Yeah. Yeah. No ppl. Private pilot's license. I was playing Microsoft flight Sim and got my ppl. And finally.
Snow Bike Mike
So much. I hate you so much. I did see you streaming last night, and, like, I caught you right when you went live. And it was. It was what ppl, Mikey, is what your notification was. I click in and you're listening to BBL Drizzy, and I'm like, I can't stand this guy. I can't stand this.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I mean, song of the year.
Snow Bike Mike
I mean, you want to talk about song of the year, BBL Drizzy went hard.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Bbl. Did they ever put a. An actual verse to that or was it just the beat? He never had someone actually really hit that.
Snow Bike Mike
No. Well, he. It was a contest because Metro Boom produced it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
To find someone. Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
An artist made it and then Metro Boom and sampled it into a beat. And then he was like, hey, it's a challenge. Whoever wants to rap over this. Best verse.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Best verse.
Snow Bike Mike
I don't know if he must have because he put a sweepstakes. I feel like legally you have to pay the.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I feel like Kendrick was supposed to rap over BBL Drizzy.
Snow Bike Mike
Well, if you remember, Drake rapped over BBL Drizzy.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
But that Sexy Red feature. Sexy Red Artist of the year.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Sexy Red has been great.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, can we. Did you watch Survivor Series? Did anybody at this beside me? Okay. You watched Survivor Series?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
That was fucking awesome, wasn't it?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It was a. It was a very fun.
Snow Bike Mike
That was a really fun time.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Premium Live event. I was going to call it a pay per view, but it's Premium Live event is what they call those. That was a great time.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
The women went above and beyond Eel sky in the trash can.
Snow Bike Mike
In the trash can. In doing the backflip in the trash can. Insane.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm a Mega Tiffy Time fan, so seeing her up on the top was pretty awesome.
Snow Bike Mike
Is that Tiffany Stratton?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah. Didn't love her outfit this year.
Snow Bike Mike
Okay.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah. Okay. Greg, what's.
Greg Miller
All right. You can say as much as you want about how great Survivor Series was. All right. Of course. Acknowledge your tribal chief. Don't get me wrong out here. Okay. But, like, I never want to talk shit about my fellow WWE Superstars.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, wow.
Snow Bike Mike
Of course.
Greg Miller
But if they would just give me the shot to get out there, I'd be the king of the ad lib. And you want to talk about me if I'm Nia Jax.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And I go to hit Naomi and she freaks out so badly, I would drop the chair.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Like, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Greg Miller
Are you scared of, like, play into it?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Don't do the Hogan fricking chair. Shot of the bop. Like, come on. We're taking out the entire match.
Snow Bike Mike
Is that all you came to say?
Greg Miller
I'm reviewing Indiana Jones. I gotta go.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay.
Snow Bike Mike
Okay, Fair enough.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Otc. Of course I was surprised. CM Punk. That was fun.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm surprised they won. They won so cleanly. And like, I. I don't know. I thought this is one that you would have stretched out. I understand that there's a back and forth that has to happen, but like, I'm very curious on what you come back on now. Right? Like, is it. Are we still feuding the two bloodlines, or is it going to be. Are we going to move on to Roman versus CM Punk?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Paul Heyman owes CM Punk a favor. He'll call upon that when he wants it. I don't know. What is it? You know, he's like, I want to.
Snow Bike Mike
Double smoke smoked bacon.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Very exciting. You know, Jacob fought too. He either plays it up so well that he hurt his knee or he actually hurt his knee. Because the whole time it's like, did this guy just tear something in his knee? Apparently. What's going on?
Snow Bike Mike
Apparently Jimmy USO broke his toe on that one dive off the cage. And when I tell you we're gonna move off from great wrestling because I know most people probably don't care.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
They're not happy about that.
Snow Bike Mike
But it's bitten me so bad. And this is back to video games that last night I booted up WWE 2K 2024.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
And simulated my own War Games match. I got upset. I got upset for a few reasons. One, they only have 4v4. They don't have 5v5 for war games because that's a new thing this year, right? The 5V5. Yeah, I imagine. I assume. But they didn't have that. And then also they don't have like half the wrestlers aren't in the game. Like, CM Punk is dlc. So I didn't have CM Punk. Jacob Fatu is in the game. Fucking Tonga Loa. And the other guy is in the game. I always get Tonga Loa, Tammy Tonga, something like that. They weren't in the game. And I was like, oh, man. So I had to go. I went online, downloaded the created characters.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's what you got to do. That's what you got to do.
Snow Bike Mike
And I was like, well, let me do. Let me do Brawn Breaker versus Jacob Fatu. Real quick. Simulate a dream match right now.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Can we talk about them?
Snow Bike Mike
Put them up against each other, man.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Bronson Reed. Can we talk about Big Bronson Reed.
Snow Bike Mike
For just a second Read.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's our guy, bro. That Greg's back. My family goes hard for Big Bronson Reed. We love Big Bronson Reed Blessing.
Greg Miller
It's almost like WWE 2K should be a live service, huh?
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, my gosh.
Greg Miller
As from, like, how is the show with Greg Miller?
Snow Bike Mike
How is Jacob fought two not in there already.
Greg Miller
Just update it that. But Then they take away from WW2K 20s to 5:25.
Snow Bike Mike
I get it.
Greg Miller
This is it. This is the.
Snow Bike Mike
You're right. It should be a live.
Greg Miller
But hey, you're right around the corner. It's March. You'll get a new one.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, but I want to play this Jacob Fox.
Greg Miller
But how good are the downloads? The downloads?
Snow Bike Mike
Downloads are great. Downloads are great.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Downloads are great.
Snow Bike Mike
They got his move set down.
Greg Miller
I gotta go play Indiana Jones before.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
We start the show. Just so you know, I beat Astrobot over the weekend as well. Fantastic.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, congratulations.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Whole lot of fun. Thank you. Loved it. Fell in love with the challenge levels. Wish there was more of them. Astro Bot meets fall guys. So much fun. I went freak mode on them.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, I destroyed them, so I needed more of them.
Barrett Courtney
Are you like, doing serious competing and like the, like getting all the times down and all that?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
No, I actually didn't do a single speed run. I fell in love with the challenge levels. I beat the game and then it was like, oh, you should check out the Speedruns. And I never went back to him, so I'll see if I go back. Missed a couple of bots, but I got most of the bots. I was impressed. They went deep in the bag. There was some of them was like, I don't know who this is. Yeah, you know what I mean? I wish they had a little bit better shout out to Kebabs who wrote and was like, hey, they should have like the game or the name of the character. Like when you.
Snow Bike Mike
It's kind of bizarre that they don't have that. Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
There's moments where you're like, I don't know who this is.
Snow Bike Mike
At the very least, give me like a glossary or something to glance at and be like, hey, these are what all these references are.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
But fantastic game. Go play the game really quick.
Snow Bike Mike
Blessed.
Barrett Courtney
I fucked up the intro and I feel like I gotta, like, I gotta set the tone, you know? And we're. We're back. We're back from Thanksgiving break. So is it okay if I just. If I hit this intro button one more time?
Snow Bike Mike
Barrett, hit the intro button one more time. There we go. Thank. That's what I'm talking about right now.
Barrett Courtney
Thank you. I did program the button, but I put it in the wrong place. So I, I, I hit the, the normal intro button. So I just wanted to fix.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Do you think he knows he's going to come back out as you start the show?
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, he keeps being like, oh, I got to go back and review Indiana Jones. I don't think he realizes that. Yeah, story number one. He's going to be out here for a second.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Start the show. Let's get this.

Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I know you are, but I was.
Snow Bike Mike
Thinking about this episode and I was like, oh yeah, can't we just talk about. And then I froze because I'm like, what the fuck did I play on my Switch this year?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Great question.
Snow Bike Mike
I don't know if I booted up my Switch this year. That might be part of the conversation though. And so you want to tune into that. Oh wow. Of course Tim will be there. We're probably going to talk about Pokemon. We're going to talk a lot about Pokemon. But then after that, the stream is going to be Mike and myself doing a mega shit list, reacting to IGN's top 100 PlayStation games of all time.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm excited for this one. I mean, I sat on it all weekend long, you know, you guys shared it in the slack. And I was like, man, I want to look at this. I have not looked at it at all.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I've not looked at it all either. Literally last night I sat down to stream it myself.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
And I sat down, I opened obs and I went.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Something whispered to you?
Snow Bike Mike
No, it was. Honestly, it was my. The Tweaker. The Tweaker. The. So I, I wanted to tweak my OBS settings basically was the thing. And so I was like, I looked at obs and I was like, I could fix some things here. And then I spent the next hour fixing obs and then I Didn't stream.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, I thought magic spoke to you and you just. Oh.
Snow Bike Mike
Then later on in the night before bed, I was like, I'm gonna play some magic.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That was awesome. You should keep doing that.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm gonna keep.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Even if it's for 30 minutes, just turn it on, go live and just play magic real quick.
Snow Bike Mike

Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, I was like, when did we take this photo?
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. No, for a second I thought I blacked out. You. I was like, oh, crazy. We already have this prepared, and I don't remember taking this picture.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Show that. Like, I don't remember taking this photo in the past month or two.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, thank you to our Patreon producers, Delaney Twining and Carl Jacobs. Today we're brought to you by Shady Rays and Aura Frames, but we'll tell you about that later. For now, let's begin with what is and forever will be the Oprah Report. It's time for some news. We have five stories today, a baker's dozen. We didn't even talk about our Thanksgivings. We'll talk about that another time.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
We'll talk about him on the stream.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, yeah, that's good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Also, we didn't even talk about how I have a razor here in my hands.
Snow Bike Mike
What the fuck?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, today I'm gonna shave my mustache in honor of Xanth, of course. Xanth was on one of our recent kind of funny games casts where we talked about path of exile 2. And we were promoting Xanth to get some more followers over on Blue sky, which I encourage you all to do. And I said, xanth, if you get that, I get that. I'll shave my mustache with you. Because he was gonna shave his mustache.
Snow Bike Mike
Were you carrying that the whole time?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It was with me.
Snow Bike Mike
I just. I looked away. I look back, you just have a fucking razor in your hand.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It was around.
Snow Bike Mike
It was around. Jesus Christ. Let's start off with story number one again. PlayStation veteran Shuhei Yoshida is retiring from Sony in January. I'm pulling from Alex Steadman at IGN. Shuhei Yoshida, one of the key veterans behind the PlayStation brand, has announced his retirement from Sony after more than three decades with the company. Yoshida announced the News in a PlayStation blog/podcast on Tuesday. His exit will be effective on January 15, 2025. Quote I've been with PlayStation from the beginning and this is my 31st year with PlayStation, Yoshida said. He continues. And when I hit 30 years, I was thinking, hmm, it may be about time for me to move on. You know, the company's been doing great. I love PS5, I love the games that are coming out on this platform and we have new generations of management who I respect and admire and I'm so excited for the future of PlayStation, end QUOTE Yoshida is currently Sony Interactive Entertainment's head of indies initiative, although he's held various posts at the company throughout the years. Most notably, he was president of SIE Worldwide Studios for Sony Interactive Entertainment from 2008 to 2019. But as Yoshida himself notes, his roots with PlayStation run deep. He was one of the initial members of Ken Kutaragi's team in 1993 and as he says on the podcast, quote, was the first non technical person to join the team as the company Sony Corporation at the time started a plan to bring PlayStation to market, end quote. Elaborating further, he explained that his job as a lead in account management was to talk to publishers and developers in Japan in the hopes that they would make games on the PlayStation. QUOTE so that was a really fun time, but also a really challenging time because not many people in the industry believed in 3D graphics technology at that time. He went on. Yoshida would go on to become vice president at Sony Computer Entertainment America in April 2000, being named senior vice president at SCE Worldwide Studios USA in 2007 before taking his president role in 2008. He calls his most recent job, however, overseeing indies at SIE a dream job. QUOTE When I was managing PlayStation Studios, working with big studios, making AAA games was great, he explained. However, when I went to events like E3 or Gamescom, I always went to the indie game area, end quote. Now mike me and you can talk about Shuhei Yoshida because of course we've listened to podcasts like beyond, like PSL of you, XOXO We've heard Greg talk about Shuhei Yoshida. We've seen Shuhei appear on Kind of Funny. We've seen Shuhei have a lot of, you know, public presence. The thing that comes to mind for me is the YouTube video of him sharing the PS4 game at the beginning of the PS4 life cycle. Mike, how'd you feel when you saw that video?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I learned about that. Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. Did that make smoke come out your ears? Were you like, God dang it, Xbox or something?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I remembered that one. Still to this day is right.
Snow Bike Mike
We could talk about this all day, I'm sure.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
But I feel like somebody who could talk about it with a bit more authority is the one and only Greg Miller.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Let me step away. Of course. Congratulations on a great run, Shuhei, and enjoy yourself. Be safe. Have a great run. There you go, Greg.
Snow Bike Mike
Welcome to the stage.
Greg Miller
Hey, how are you? I had a stick, Mike. I didn't realize we were doing like this. Why is he putting the chair so high? You know what I mean? Like, what's he trying to do? Oh, and then I gotta put all my weight on it to bring it down to a normal level.
Snow Bike Mike
I mean, now you're my height. This can't be right.
Greg Miller
It feels good though, doesn't it? See?
Snow Bike Mike
Hey, stepping down.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
What does this do for you, man?
Greg Miller
I just so much to me that I put out an emergency Greg Way over the holiday, you know, we of course closed up shop on Tuesday and we're like, nothing will happen. And then Tuesday afternoon, yeah, this all happened. Shuhei left. So on my way to ice skating with Benny and Jen, I recorded a Greg Way on Wednesday that shout out to Cool Greg, Cool Greg posted on Thanksgiving. But yeah, like, I think the easiest, most apt way to talk about this is that it's really just the final blow to I think the PlayStation so many people fell in love with. There's eras to everything, right? There's errors to kinda funny, there's errors to beyond, there's eras to PlayStation, Xbox, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And I think there was a really special time that so many of our viewers, our listeners beyond fans were a part of where it was. Adam Boys, Shuhei Yoshido, Gia, Gio, Corsi, and of course Jack Trenton out there just rocking E3 stages PSX. You know, we were very blessed. Podcast beyond and then eventually kind of funny, but beyond and the moment, you know, me, Colin and Clements to be part of Shuhei really breaking out and going from a behind the scenes person that so Many people had known, right? They were talking about literally 15 years. She, at the time, she would have been there, give or take, would have been there, right, at PlayStation. And then when the advent of Twitter not being garbage and being fun and being an actual place where people wanted to come and talk and hang out, you saw him break through and start appearing on podcasts and becoming this thing. And, you know, my Gregory goes into great detail of my first time interacting with you on Twitter, right? Where somebody came over and was like, do you know who just tweeted they're a fan of the show. And I'm like, no, like, shoe. Hey, shoot. I'm like, I don't know who that is. Like, Sony Worldwide Studios. It was like a different time, right? Let alone the buildup to the first time he was on beyond, you know, to the time that we were at E3. We had just landed, and I got a phone call from PlayStation PR, and they're like, hey, do you care if we use one of your tweets in the presentation tomorrow? And I'm like, what for? And they're like, oh, you know, do this thing with Shoe. There's going to be a bunch of tweets up. And I was like, oh, sure, no problem. And you jump to that moment and Shu coming out on stage and him being like, I've kind of become the face or, you know, I forget what he says. A community manager or a face of PlayStation. And the first tweet they throw up and they showed on thing was me, Clements and Colin with him out at the bars or whatever and tweeting about it. You know what I mean? Like, Shu is such a, I think you hear me say so many times, friend of the show. We have so many friends of the show. Oh, I love that person. But what I'm talking about, the three times I've interviewed them or whatever, right? Like, Shu is a legitimate friend. Shuhei Yoshida is somebody who obviously, when we went to Japan, he upended his schedule to come out to the catch your own fish restaurant with us when he's in town. And I say, hey, do you want to get dinner? He comes and has dinner. Like, he came to, you know, the old house with the old spare bedroom when Jen was meeting my mother for the first time she was in town, like, oh, do you want to come over for dinner? He's like, yeah. So it was, you know, Jen, my mom, Shu calling, like, all the. Just partying, right? And like, that's how close he is to me. And then, you know, kind of Funny. So this was like a crazy thing to wrestle with on Tuesday. And again as I talked about the Greg way, it's like one of those funny things of like the first reaction is it feels like he's gone. And then of course DM'd him and started talking about all this stuff and like set up a dinner when he's in town next. And you know, a lot of, a lot of announcements coming for you know, our 10 year anniversary, but let's just say there's going to be a new employee on January 16th. All right, that's not true. But you know, you know it has been immediately reaching out but it's just like such a crazy thing of like the last piece of that, what I would call The PSX era PlayStation is gone. Right where it's like and don't wrong, this isn't shade to Herman or anybody else over there. It's just PlayStation is a far different PlayStation than it was when it was the. Here's how you share a video game on PlayStation 4 video people, right?
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And she was such a big part of that and such a cheerleader for that. And so front facing and front facing in such a human way. Right where she really was and is like the guy who tells you what he's playing and will, you know, respond stuff. And I'll never forget like, you know, one of the subtlest burns of all time, not in a really egregious way, but in a funny way was when, you know, David Jaffe was working on that twisted metal that kept like, was going forever and Jaffe Shu said something and Jaffe got involved on Twitter and just responds, please finish your game. Like just get off Twitter and finish your fucking game. It's like, that was awesome. And it was so exactly who Shu was and still is.
Snow Bike Mike
Right?
Greg Miller
Like he's gone. It's so weird because it's. You want to talk like he's gone when he's not gone. And like one of the follow ups to his tweet, somebody asked like, are you staying in the industry? He's like, I'd like to. So it's not even a retirement, it's just he's leaving PlayStation because he's done as much as he can do with PlayStation.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I was gonna say is this something that's surprising? Is this something that's out of. I guess it feels out of nowhere because I for this is something that's on my mind of like, oh yeah, when is Shuhei gonna leave? Especially when he's had such a trajectory of starting so early at PlayStation, having such a rise, being head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios and now being or having now been the head of like the PlayStation's like indie head of indie initiative. Right. Like it seems like there was sort of a arc that happens that feels like a, hey, this is what I want to do. Like I went from having like all this responsibility to now like you know, being able to focus more in on, hey, I love indies. Like I love working directly with these developers. Is this something that for you, you would have expected as somebody who probably pays a bit more attention?
Greg Miller
It's a great question. Bless. And this is one of those fun ones where I talk about how close I am to the source, to the art, the story here. But to step back and be critical of the entire situation, right. Like when Shu stepped down from Worldwide Studios and went to that indie team and was there with Greg Rice and Sean Benson, who you all know from the PlayStation showcases, I was very much like, oh, they're putting him on the shelf to retire him. Like this is going to be his thing where they put him over there. And it's just because this is very much like the little knowledge I know of the Japanese workplace culture. This is par for the course in many places of like, oh, you've done this thing for so long, we're going to put you over here. But it's just a position. You can do whatever you. So when they originally announced that and put him on that team, I was like, oh, this is just so he can continue to collect a paycheck, be a part of the PlayStation community for as long as he wants to. But I thought it would end with his retirement. But I also was incorrect and I thought it would end with. Not even end, just stay with him not being that involved. So I was very taken aback is the right word, but surprised to see Shu engage with the role and really be out there champion in the indies and being in me, like it wasn't one of those like, oh, this is a ceremonial thing. It was. I would talk to indie devs like she was in our meeting. It was so intimidating that oh, like he's actually doing the job she was.
Snow Bike Mike
Put me on to. Right. I think chicory. The first time I heard of chicory was from Shuhei Washi sure about it. And then Janet playing it.
Greg Miller
And so yeah, like I when I saw him doing that I was like, oh, this is a real role. This isn't ceremonial. Like I thought it was going to be so. But I still thought that 30 plus years, 31 years that he would retire there. I thought that you would see it all the way through.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And so, yeah, it's surprising on that end of like, oh, I thought she would be a company man and do this the entire way. And so there's excitement in that of what does that mean? You know what I mean? Like the, you know, Shu has made a name for himself. Shu is well known for his acumen of what makes a good game and obviously being a producer and so on and so forth. What do you do with that when you leave PlayStation? Because we've seen plenty of people leave PlayStation, right. Adam Boyce, Gio Corsi. I would go even to a higher level, no offense to them. But like a Sean Layden, right? A Jack Trenton. But like a Sean Layden, a Jack Trenton. They leave a Reggie. Yeah, they leave and they write a book and they leave and they're on like this panel of, you know, we're a board of directors, like they're not in it. So I really do wonder if Shu has gone up, you know, from PlayStation being a producer to head of worldwide studios to this indie role. Right. And now is like, I want to be hands on. I want to help someone make a game, I want to do that. Or is it going to be as simple as he ends up at an Xbox? He ends up at a bigger third.
Snow Bike Mike
Party that is looking for if he ended up at an Xbox.
Greg Miller
Dude, if I was Phil, it's a first call. I saw them going back and forth on Twitter. I was like, that would be awesome.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I guess my expectation would, yeah, like be either like he has an idea for his own company where he's going to help indies or if he wants to be like get into consulting or something along those lines. Yeah, Like, I kind of expect a similar trajectory as like the people that you mentioned. Right. But maybe a bit more hands on. Yeah. But yeah, that's exciting stuff though. Of course, like Shuhei has been somebody who like to say I've been a fan would be weird because it's like it's not like he's a podcaster. It's not like he's like, you know, direct, like directly making the video game. And so like, I think it's just he's been somebody that I followed over the years mainly because of things like beyond and him showing up on different podcasts. Right. But I think also what you talk about as far as him being one of the faces of PlayStation, I feel like we talked about this often. The fact that PlayStation doesn't really have as much of that anymore.
Greg Miller
Like going back to that corporate world, siloed structure.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
The brand is what's important.
Snow Bike Mike
And I think, you know, at a, at a certain time, the way I would think about PlayStation and Shuhei's relationship with it, like Shuhei was essentially what I envisioned as like Phil Spencer to Xbox. Right. Like you are the face that I associate with this thing. Different roles obviously. But like I think Shuhei stepping down kind of feels like it has a bit of that style of impact of oh man, I never thought I would see this happen. Right. This man that I associate so strongly, the brand stepped down in this way. But yeah, like congratulations to him for the 30. 31 years.
Greg Miller
Was it 31 years.
Snow Bike Mike
Wow.
Greg Miller
Yeah, indeed. Yeah. It'll be interesting to see what happens next. That's what I'm now most excited for.
Snow Bike Mike
Heck yeah. Greg.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Thank you so much for joining me for this conversation.
Greg Miller
I appreciate Back to Indiana Jones. Oh yeah, we're reviewing a Thursday.
Snow Bike Mike
Everybody you want to say to talk about the next door?
Greg Miller
Sure I can.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh really? Do you actually want to?
Greg Miller
I mean, what. It's awesome.
Snow Bike Mike
Let's talk about it then.
Greg Miller
Story Indiana Jones review Thursday and we're doing something special. Oh so they have a weird embargo of 4pm Pacific time. Not our usual games cast time. So we're going to do a YouTube premiere of that Gamescast. So that will be locked, loaded and ready to go on Thursday afternoon, 4pm for Indiana Jones.
Snow Bike Mike
What are you doing? Are we doing like a games like an earlier day thing?
Greg Miller
No, we're games daily. Well, it all happened while you're living live.
Snow Bike Mike
Okay.
Greg Miller
Games daily. Then it'll be into the stream and then they'll probably be dead time on my to force mike to stream till 4pm and then 4pm it'll pop up.
Snow Bike Mike
All right, there you go. Let's hop into store number two. PS5 adds limited time, PS1 boot up and customizable themes based on previous consoles. This is Tom Ivan at Video Games Chronicle. Sony has released a PS5 update which lets players customize aspects of the console's design based on different console generations. Coinciding with PlayStation's 30th anniversary on December 3rd, the update adds PS1's boot up as part of its new startup sequence. As seen in the video, players can also customize some visual and audio features by selecting from PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, standard PS5 or 30th anniversary themes quote. For a limited time, you can change parts of the PS5 design based on your favorite generation of PlayStation. Sony said select a design to apply to your home screen and other areas, end quote. Sony has also released a 30th anniversary thank you video. But talking about this design thing, Greg, I saw you. I think you either tweeted it or you blew.
Greg Miller
I did it all. I'm everywhere. Blue skies. The only place I'm looking at responses anymore. Better conversation over there. But I'm still putting stuff up on threads. Instagram, I don't count because Instagram's a different.
Snow Bike Mike
Not giving up on threads. Interesting.
Greg Miller
Well again, I like it because I. There's some. My Instagram feed. Right. My Instagram feed is photos and so it's weird. I wouldn't want to put this. I'm not. People aren't following me for screenshots of the PlayStation anniversary over on Instagram, but I put it up on threads and I can share that to the story. So you can see that I'm always saying something interesting. I wish threads would have won. I also do respect the blue sky. You're great, you're fun. It's nice. I just wish threads would have won.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. But yeah, I saw you were messing around with this stuff hitting you.
Greg Miller
It's. It's such a double edged sword of like, fuck yes, this is awesome. Immediately. The PlayStation 2 theme. I adore the PlayStation 2 theme. It's what I'm going to rock. Why is it limited time? Please tell me you're doing it limited time. So that when you can say we've heard you and we'll now put it everywhere. That doesn't sound like PlayStation usually acts though. So I do expect them still to take it away, which is so fucking dumb. Let us go.
Snow Bike Mike
Did they talk about like how long it's going for?
Greg Miller
All right. It's one day.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm just going to wake up.
Greg Miller
For a limited time you can change parts of the PlayStation 5. It's like, how long? But why? Why would you take this away? Why? Just let us be happy with the 30th anniversary.
Snow Bike Mike
It sucks. This is the thing we've always asked for.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Like I've been asking for themes ever since the PS5 launched. You finally give me themes and ones that like, look at this, I particularly enjoy. Right. Because I'm with you. The PS2 one is the one I'm going to go for. I've not booted it up yet. And so I'm going to look through all of them, see how they look.
Greg Miller
Sure.
Snow Bike Mike
Because of course it's awesome how every generation I have a different level of nostalgia for where PS2 was my original PlayStation console, and so I got to go with that one. And also it has the best boot up. But the PS3 elicits a different emotion in me because for me that was high school Into College was PS3B.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
And you're going to take me back there. But then PS4 obviously was also such a special generation and so it's fucking awesome to be able to look through and be like, all right, it's. Are you seeing the Key and Peele? This is the like, third time I'm referencing this in the last couple of weeks. But the Key and Peele Intercontinental Breakfast skit where. I don't think so. Jordan Peele, he like goes to the, like he's at a hotel, he's getting the breakfast and he's like blown away by every single thing. And like, he like gets like one of the mini muffins and he's like, oh, it's from Switzerland. And he was like eating every fucking thing. That's essentially going to be me with the fucking menu where I'm going to be like, oh, oh, the PS2, let's boot this up. Oh, the PS3 menu. Let's check this out as well. And so I'm excited to check this out. But yeah, I'm gonna go PS2 and I hope they don't take it away.
Greg Miller
Yeah, I hope so too. That's the. That sucks because that was like, I tweet, I tweeted Blue sky skeeted, I tweeted, I threaded. And everyone's response were like, it's cool. Why are they taking it away? Like, just don't be stupid, PlayStation. I know it's against your nature, PlayStation, but don't be stupid. Just let it be there. Let people celebrate.
Snow Bike Mike
Let people celebrate. Greg, thank you so much for joining me here.
Greg Miller
It's always a pleasure.
Snow Bike Mike

And we're back. One thing that I didn't do while Greg was here because I wanted Greg to be able to go back. Continue reviewing Indiana Jones.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You're so nice.
Snow Bike Mike
Yes, I want to live react to the PlayStation thank you video. So they put up a 30th anniversary video. I've not seen it. It's like two minutes long I think. Oh, okay. Bear, if you're able to pull that up has contained some spoilers.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Good to know.
Snow Bike Mike
Okay, please proceed with caution. I hate that they don't tell us which spoilers because I don't like which games because I don't know they're gonna spoil the next God of War.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Kick it off with harassment. A little death stranding here.
Snow Bike Mike
Emotional moments in these games.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Great song choice.
Snow Bike Mike
Damn.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay, so already. Big temple title so far.
Snow Bike Mike
Already I'm feeling it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, there we go.
Snow Bike Mike
Bring us the ego. It's about sacrifice. It says Spider Man, Miles Morales.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
So good.
Snow Bike Mike
Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3 adventure series. Go to Tsushima. It's about skill. Is that cod?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Call of Duty.
Snow Bike Mike
I feel like that's a weird one. Let's put this Xbox franchise on here. Oh, man, what a cool one that.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Was with Final Fantasy.
Snow Bike Mike
Resident Evil.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Batman, Tomb Raider.
Barrett Courtney
My favorite favorite video game movie, I hear.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Gosh.
Snow Bike Mike
Mlb, the Show.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Baseball. Yeah, this is good. Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, there's resistance. There was Demon Souls. There's infamous Ratchet. Tony Hawk. Fall, guys.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
What a goat.
Snow Bike Mike
I like this.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Kingdom Hearts.
Snow Bike Mike
Come on. Oh, that's good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It's about the fun.
Snow Bike Mike
It's about you. It's about you, Mike.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's good.
Snow Bike Mike
That's good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's good. That's a fun one.
Snow Bike Mike
It didn't quite get the tears out of me the way I was expecting, but it was good. It was great. Yeah. Great edit. I think the problem with me, and this is a me problem, okay, is that I'm on Tick Tock too much, and I get a lot of edits on Tick Tock. You ever see the sports edits?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Let me tell you what. All these kids that are making the edits, they're whipping up greatness.
Snow Bike Mike
They're talented.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
And so, like, I saw one, like, as soon as the new Kendrick album came out, I saw so many edits to, like, man at the Garden from that album and, like, so many different songs, and I'm seeing them all the time now to where if you want to get some emotion out of me with, like, a montage or some kind of video edit, you got to go home. You got to hire one of these kids. But that was great, though.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, that was a whole lot of fun. I really, really liked that. I like looking back, hard to believe. 30 years of play and a lot of cool titles in there. A lot of franchises. I love that they incorporated everything, right. We saw Tomb Raider in there. We saw NBA 2K. You saw FIFA in there. Like, bring all the titles that I love when I was playing on my PlayStation throughout all the years. Didn't see any Grand Theft Auto, surprisingly, because when I think of my PS2, I think of Grand Theft Auto 3, I think of NC.
Snow Bike Mike
I feel like the third party games that they had on here were all like modern ish for the most part. So I wonder if they're like interesting. Like they'll celebrate the history of like the PlayStation titles. But like we want to at the same time show you NBA and Call of Duty and FIFA and the stuff that we know you're going to show up where and by. But I do appreciate them putting Call of Duty in here. Right. Like it's a weird one because now it's like I associate that with Xbox. But it's also a very core part of the history of PlayStation when you talk about like third party games and how many people are playing Call of duty on the PlayStation. So great time. That's good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That was good. Good job.
Snow Bike Mike
Before we move on, Mike, I want to bring in some super chats. The Portland Kevin writes in and Sundays, I turned 40 over the weekend. The day itself kind of sucked. But I'm glad to have this community to come back to. Love you all KFBFs.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Happy birthday.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, happy birthday, Portland cabin.
Greg Miller
Hey.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Heck yeah, man.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You're in the prime of your life at 40 years old. You're going to be dunking basketballs, running this incredible dunkin basketball, seven minute miles. Go out and be your best self.
Snow Bike Mike
When you turn 40, do you think the first thing you're going to do is dunk a basketball?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, I'm going to go freak mode at 40.
Snow Bike Mike
No, you're not.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
People know I'm trending. I'm trending to freak mode in 40.
Snow Bike Mike
Can you dunk a basketball today? Could you dunk a basketball?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
No, but I'm working at 40 by.
Snow Bike Mike
The time you hit 40. Okay, fair enough.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
There.
Barrett Courtney
There's another one that is coming up, Mike, that I do kind of want to give you a heads up.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Barrett Courtney
If we look at the kind of.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Funny calendar I appreciate. Baron kept me honest on this one.
Barrett Courtney
There's one for December 20th, which I think is the last day we're in the office this year that says Mike does a backflip.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I promise at the beginning of 2024 he's going to learn how to do a backflip. Still trending.
Snow Bike Mike
This is how he dies. This is how we lose. Mike.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Just get a mat and I'll be ready to rock.
Snow Bike Mike
I always wanted to learn how to do a backflip as a kid, but like the thing that the reason I never learned is because I feared head trauma so much. Like, like I'M not gonna lie, but some kids put you on, like, a. Like a.
Barrett Courtney
Like a really thick mat.
Snow Bike Mike
You know, he's my neck. You know, like, my neck can still bend weirdly. Some kids grow up and they're afraid of the dark. They're afraid of public speaking. Yes. They're afraid of spiders. As a kid, I was like, head trauma. No, man. I'm not gonna be changing.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I love that your parents instilled that in you. Someone in your life was like, bl.
Snow Bike Mike
I don't know if it was my.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Not have head trauma ever in your life.
Snow Bike Mike
I. I must have watched a YouTube video or, like, watched a movie where somebody landed on their head and went, no, that's not going to be me. And so that's not going to be me. Still break dance a lot, though. You know, I still did a lot of breakdancing, but. Yeah, the backflip is where I drew the line. Okay.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Happy birthday, Portland Kevin.
Snow Bike Mike
Happy birthday, Portland Kevin. We got one more from Lot at Quest. He writes in and says, hey, Barrett, finally watched Dondon. I get it now. Episode seven. God damn.
Barrett Courtney
Oh, you know what episode that is?
Snow Bike Mike
Blessing. Yeah, I know. So good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I.
Barrett Courtney
Again, it's a big. You know, that first episode was a lot to take in, but it gets, like, emotionally. Just like, it emotionally wrecks you. And it's also very fun and very silly and very goofy all at once. It's very. It's a very impressive show.
Snow Bike Mike
Mary, I got a question.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
When can I join the anime boys at kind of funny? Because I feel like it's you and my next episode.
Barrett Courtney
Want to do it?
Snow Bike Mike
Well, when's the next episode? I don't know. Okay, whatever. I'm down because I've been. I've been on the anime train. Yeah, right. I've been. I've been watching Donna Don. I am halfway through Dragon Ball Super. I know Arcane's on anime, but also, Chad, just for you.
Barrett Courtney
I mean, it's called kind of watching so we can talk about things that kind of anime.
Snow Bike Mike
Finally watch through all season one of Arcane.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, how good.
Snow Bike Mike
This rocks.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
How good?
Snow Bike Mike
It's really good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That ending, too.
Barrett Courtney
I'm surprised because you weren't feeling it.
Snow Bike Mike
Last week or like, last time? Last time I watched it. Well, it's just the fact that, like, I think it's. And here's the thing. I'm still in a place where the type of setting that it's in usually isn't my cup of tea. And, like, there's a tone to it where, like, here's what. Here's what it is, is Arcane is almost presents itself kind of like a. Like a. This is gonna sound weird because secret levels coming up. But, like, it's kind of like a blur animation where I'm watching it and I'm like, oh, no. Real. No way. This is like a real series, though, right? Like, this is just gonna be a vignette of cool shit happening on screen, and I'm not gonna. This isn't gonna translate to a really. Well, then you're like, oh, wait, the.
Barrett Courtney
Entire thing's like this.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. And then it just keeps going, and I'm like, oh. They keep this level of quality all the way through. Tell a really.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Some fire fight scenes. The Boy Savior.
Snow Bike Mike
Dude. The.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Come on.
Snow Bike Mike
The action scenes in Arcane off the Chain, like, that's my thing is. And this is going to anger people, right? But I have an addiction, so you guys got to understand.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
I've been playing magic while watching Arcane. I love that I got Arcane on. In the background. I got magic on my phone.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Two things at once.
Snow Bike Mike
I love that I'm doing two things at once. And so sometimes I might be. I might not be paying as much attention. Okay. Sometimes I might be, you know, focusing on my phone. But then as soon as one of those action scenes come on, phone gets put down, I'm like, this person can wait. I am locked in on what's going on on screen. I gotta see Jinx kick some ass. I gotta see Vi fucking whoop somebody's ass.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
We need two XKO back asap, you.
Snow Bike Mike
And I. Oh, dude. And the echo. My guy.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's your guy.
Snow Bike Mike
He's not doing the echo shit, though.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
He had a sick. His sick fight scene. I mean, he pulls back time, but.
Snow Bike Mike
Like, I feel like he did spiritually. I don't know if he literally pulled.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Back maybe season two spiritually.
Snow Bike Mike
What does that mean? Like, the fight scene that I saw where, like, they hit at the time.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Super sick.
Snow Bike Mike
It was super sick. But, like, I don't think it was, like, a literal.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, yeah. But, like, maybe. Maybe he'll get more in season two.
Snow Bike Mike
He better just keep tuning. I just finished episode three of season two. If Echo doesn't literally rewind time by the time this. By the time this season ends. Fucking five out of ten.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
There you go.
Barrett Courtney
Let's have you on the next episode.
Snow Bike Mike
Bless.
Barrett Courtney
I want to do a kind of anime Mikey sooner rather than later. Just because I've also been watching Digimon, and I watched the Digimon movie that came out a few years ago that wraps up the original kids story. Bless Gut Wrench. Like fucking heartbreaking. Had me in tears.
Snow Bike Mike
My plan is to I gotta finish Free Ren. I watched a bunch of episodes of Free Ren and I really dig it. But I fell off.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I like that.
Snow Bike Mike
And I'm gonna finish Free and this is all gonna be during my break. Like during the Christmas break.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh wow. Big break.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I mean I got some plans to watch some anime during this break. When does Severance come out? Cuz I also got to watch that. I hope it's great but doing that I'm going to try and maybe finish Super. Probably not because there's a lot of episodes left and then there's this show on Netflix, the food in the dungeons. One delicious dungeon.
Barrett Courtney
Messy or whatever.
Snow Bike Mike
Delicious. Delicious. And dungeon. I want to watch that because that seems cool.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Severance comes back January 17, 2025 is what Apple TV is promoting for me.
Snow Bike Mike
Too long from now. Let's move on to story number three. Marvel Rivals Confirms five More Characters ahead of its Launch this is Jordan Midler at Video Games Chronicle. Ahead of its release this week, Netease has revealed five new characters coming to Marvel Rivals. As part of a launch trailer for the game. It was announced that in addition to the current roster of over 25 characters, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Black Widow, Cloak and Dagger and Squirrel Girl will be added to the roster. All of the games launch heroes and any added at a later date will be free according to Netease. Whoo. Mike. Hey. Now when I tell you that when I realized that this game is coming out this week, I got so excited. I think this is my next like clear everything. I'm playing Marvel Rivals.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm glad that you're excited because I've gone ice cold on this game. Really going from game of the year this or game of the Summer this year right now to this game comes out this Thursday afternoon, Friday as well. We're going to play it on stream. I'm ice cold. I need to. I need to have something reignite the fire. They had me so hard this summer. And then when they said, oh we'll be back later on, they had you.
Snow Bike Mike
What?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I've gone.
Snow Bike Mike
They had them hard.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
They had me hard. And now I'm so hard I might colt and that's a problem.
Snow Bike Mike
Wow. Why are you ice cold? Is it just the fact that you not heard?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I think sometimes like you just. I think sometimes a game comes at the right moment for gamers, especially in that summer drought that we had had with the first person shooter landscape where we're looking for different games to play. We want to jump into something new. And Marvel Rivals was that. And they were riding this high off the betas where they were putting other games back and forth. Remember when it was going up against Concord and we never spoke about Concord again because of Marvel Rivals? Like, that was the momentum that they had and like we were riding it and then to just plummet and go, oh, you. We don't get to play that for months. Really killed my steam that I had.
Snow Bike Mike
They had you hard and you were riding that. You're riding that. I now he's soft and I think this might be one of those ones where they just got to get the controller in your hand. I really hope so because, like, for me it is the fact of, okay, we got the full roster. We're going to get all these characters.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
33 people, 33 people, 33 characters.
Snow Bike Mike
Crazy number of characters to choose from. You're going to have more stage than we had during those beta games.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Excited for that. I want to see the level destructibility. I want to see how that plays into teams winning, teams losing, how they adjust the map they've been promoting. So I'm really excited to see what that looks like.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm so excited. I think for me, the thing that's hitting for me is the fact that. That it doesn't feel like I have that much else to play. I know I do. Like, I have a big backlog. But as far as new games, like Indiana Jones, I think is right now the only one that comes to mind as far as, like, major releases. And like, right as of now, I don't even know if I'm gonna play Indiana Jones. I want to see what reviews look like. I don't. Greg has a review code. I don't have the review code. So I'm like, you know, I'm on the wait and see of what do those reviews look like if I need to get into Indiana Jones. But aside from that, yo, like Marvel Rivals, I'm yours.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Heavy Exile too. Yeah.
Barrett Courtney
Path of Exile.
Snow Bike Mike
I mean, that's not me, but yeah, like, that's definitely a game coming out.
Barrett Courtney
Have you beaten. Have you finished the Golden Idol? Rise of the Golden Idol?
Snow Bike Mike
No, I. It's just the fact that I'm played two back to back because I beat Case, and I love Case, and I'm halfway, halfway through Rise, and I think I just overdid it where now I'm sitting down and I know that if I'm going to do One of these puzzles. I'm committing an hour. I'm committing an hour just staring at my screen.
Barrett Courtney
Surprised you didn't, like, eat both of them up so quick. I played both of them, I think in a weekend or some. It.
Snow Bike Mike
They're so there's also a good chance I'm gonna have Rise beaten in the next few days. Yeah, like, there's a good chance I had Rise beaten by the time Marvel R. Very. I just need to find the free time.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
But let's talk about Marvel Rival stuff for a little bit.
Snow Bike Mike
All right, let's talk about it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Let's talk about this trailer.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Five new heroes shown.
Snow Bike Mike
Yep.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Squirrel Girls in there. Wolverine. Right.
Snow Bike Mike
Can you. Can you scroll to Squirrel Girl?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
So God bless.
Snow Bike Mike
First off, this trailer, you can keep going.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Just so anime. So Overwatch esque.
Snow Bike Mike
Right?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It's just like everything. They just. It's perfect. You watch it. You're like, yep, I know exactly all those new characters. And so, yeah, I'm very excited to jump in. Right.
Snow Bike Mike
You got. I guess all these are new. But Wolverine looks fantastic, though.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah. Storm has been fantastic. The list of 33. I mean, you. And I feel like if you've played the beta, you've seen a lot, but, like, I'm looking forward to seeing Captain America, because I didn't see that one. I can't wait to see Jeff the Land Shark. I didn't play that part of the beta with Jeff the Land Shark Pup. I can't wait to see that. I. I think that might be my main. So we'll see.
Snow Bike Mike
All right.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
But, like, there's a lot of characters here where I feel like I saw a bunch of them during the beta, but there's somewhere I'm like, ooh, what's Psylocke really going to play? Like, I can't wait.
Snow Bike Mike
The thing that I like about this is that it doesn't feel like they're just trying to play to the MCU audience. Based on these picks, I was expecting, like, after Deadpool and Wolverine, I was like, oh, for sure we're going to get Deadpool. Oh, for sure. You're like, of course. Of course. We've gotten things like Moon. Moon Knight is in this game, right?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yes, Moon Knight is in the game.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, we've gotten Moon Knight. Right. Like, there's a selection of characters where it is. Okay. Like, we have that one for one in the mcu, but it doesn't feel like they're trying to chase after that bag. The fact that you have, like, Cloak and Dagger in here. You have Squirrel Girl in here. I think they're playing to, like, all sides of the. Of the Marvel fandom in a pretty good way.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I. They're going to nail it. And it's exciting to hear the post stuff. Right. All the heroes will be free after launch as well, so that's exciting to see.
Snow Bike Mike
What.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
How many they come out with each time. Is it just one where we have a group of three or five? And then to bring everybody back in. I'm really pumped up.
Snow Bike Mike
Are there any characters that you're expecting for, like, a wave one of DLC one?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Wave one. Okay. Oh, that's a fun one.
Snow Bike Mike
Let's say. Let's say if they release, I guess first question is 20, 25, right? How many characters do you think they release in the year of.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
20.
Snow Bike Mike
In the year of 2025. For this thing, how many should they release?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Seven to make 40.
Snow Bike Mike
No way.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
Seven characters in the year. I think if we're lucky, we get one per quarter. So I'm gonna say four. Okay. One per quarter. I feel like that's a. That's like. I feel like that's a decent pace.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay. I've never been a fan of just the one Overwatch character added. Never been a fan of.
Snow Bike Mike
You want more than one character? Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I would prefer three at a finish roll. Yeah. At a drop. One for each role so everybody can get a little piece of it. I never liked having to fight for that one character. And then also it comes down to balancing.
Snow Bike Mike
Right.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Like, there's the fan aspect and then the game developer aspect of, like. Well, now we have to balance all of that, and it's very difficult to balance on the fly.
Greg Miller
So.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, Mike, that's why we only do one at a time. As a fan thing. No one is never enough enough.
Snow Bike Mike
Wow.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You always want more.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I guess, like, that's my. My expectation.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's like dropping one map in, like, a Call of Duty launch.
Snow Bike Mike
But my. My expectation is one. Because of that balancing issue, I feel like you drop three new characters and then balancing just gets wagy.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Of course.
Greg Miller
Of course.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah. That's how it's gonna go.
Snow Bike Mike
I think you. I think you can get away with dropping one character per quarter if that character also comes with a big event, a new map, like a new cool animation that's kind of like the Overwatch animations that we've gotten in the past. Right. Like, really cool unlockable skins. Like, I think. Think if you're able to deliver a package that is, hey, this is the season of Blank this is the season of Deadpool. This is the season of the spider verse or whatever. I think you're able to say, shape people if you are giving, like, four characters in a year. I feel. I don't know, I feel pretty good about that.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, we'll find.
Snow Bike Mike
Because that also, I think that lends to longevity because if you're dropping seven characters next year, in 2026, are you dropping seven more characters? Like, are we going to end this game having 100 characters? Is that even realistic to then think about?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You and I have had two, one, two games now where we've talked about, like, put a pin on this one. Let's see where it's at three months down the road. Right? We talked about Call of Duty sales numbers, which you and I will keep an eye out throughout next year of, like, where's Call of Duty sales numbers at? Here's where I want to know of what's the engagement like for Marvel Rivals three months from now? I'm looking. What's your bet right now on in December? Does it go red hot like we think it will, right throughout the end of this year is Marvel Rivals, everybody. That's the only thing people are talking about. And then into February, by February, are we still riding the high of this game?
Snow Bike Mike
I think we have to. I. Here's the thing.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm excited to find out, right.
Snow Bike Mike
If there's. If this game, by the time we hit February, March, if this game still isn't red hot, there's something in the water that's just fucked the game because, like, you have everything going for you. This is like. Like when the pandemic happened and everybody thought that Skype was going to hit it big and then Zoom came through like this.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Overwatch is that it's like most.
Snow Bike Mike
Overwatch is vulnerable.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
It's your moment. You have Marvel, people have Call of Duty fatigue. Yes, Delta Force is coming, but you are so much bigger than Delta Force. There's so many games here that, like, you are just bigger than. Can you get a spot at the table?
Snow Bike Mike
I think it. I think this game needs to.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay.
Snow Bike Mike
And I hope it does because, like, again, this is a game I'm looking forward to. I love Overwatch. You tell me you're making Overwatch with Marvel. I'm in. We played the game. The game's fun, right? Like, I, I had, like, some complaints here and there when we were playing it, but, like, things that you can fix over a. Like a beta period and things they can fix just over time. But overall, like, the. I Think the game is solid. So I would expect it to do. To do numbers. I would expect it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's what I'm excited.
Snow Bike Mike
But you can. You're right.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You never know. Holidays, right? Like where. Where do we stand? January 1st, a full month of this. Is this the hottest game on Twitch, on Steam, on all the player. All the player counts that you would look at, from viewers to players. Is this thing red hot? Because it has the making to be that. Yeah, I just don't know where we stand. Are people still super high on the Overwatch format of the 5v5 6v6 Hero arena shooter? Is that what people want? Are they into that? Yeah, we're gonna find out.
Snow Bike Mike
Parrot. What's up, Mike?
Barrett Courtney
Are you cold on the game because you're still salty that you dropped it from fantasy critics because you thought it got delayed to 2025?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'm extremely upset that I dropped that game, of course. But no, I. I'm truly cold because it went six months without it. Right. I think that's just like the problem with, with the world of video games right now is there are so many games we could go down a list of a hundred games that each person in the world hasn't played or has on their backlog. And it's just like the moment that a game goes out of my life, it's like I've already moved on to 10 more games and it's tough to relight that fire and get excited again when I've already. I'm on so many other things.
Snow Bike Mike
See, I think you're right. But I also think that like this is one of those ones where they kind of had to give us that taste in the summer and then go away. And like I think putting it out free to play. Like, I don't think this is one of those games that needs to thrive off of pre release hype. Right. It's not like a premium release. It's not like people have to pre order or pay 60. It is a game that's going to come out on Thursday, Friday. Be free so you can download it. Play it, people. The pitch is easy. Hey, it's Marvel Overwatch. I have like the Overwatch Trend group that I play Overwatch with some. I'm going to text them and be like, hey guys, guys, I know you guys are playing Overwatch. There's a new Marvel one that we should check out. Like I think that's going to be that exact message is going to be in group chats and it's free to play and it's free to play are all free. Hey, we've been playing Overwatch for the last eight years.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
There's.
Snow Bike Mike
Let's play Marvel Overwatch, see how we like it. And if it has the stuff, guess what? People are going to come back to it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I can't wait.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm. I'm so fascinated.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Put a pin in it because it's another fun conversation that we'll have. Because I see the chat, right, it's like Mike's out of tune with the community. Mike has no idea. It's like, hey, just remember three months down the road we're going to find out if this game had the juice or not. Six months down the road, did it stick around? I can't wait in June we're going to have a conversation six months from now.
Snow Bike Mike
Do you.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Is that you want to say Marvel Rivals is still top shit or it's going to say Marvel Rivals fell off?
Snow Bike Mike
Because I know you're not, you're not saying that this game will fell. No.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You're just saying that like that's the juice. I'm just always interested in these stories in the video game landscape of like, like what games can survive, what games can make it. And it's a flip of a coin if the community and the world vibes with these. It's not Mike's decision or not.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. If this game doesn't do it right, say this game comes out and it underperforms. What do you think that says? What do you think that says about.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Where hero arena shooter might not be the. The video game genre that you should be making?
Snow Bike Mike
I think if this game doesn't perform then yeah, the hero shooter genre is just dead.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, that, that's one of like I would be very afraid to be making games in or. Or it needs a radical shape up. But like this is the one. It has the makings to be great. It's Overwatch with Marvel characters. It has a lot going on with the free to play stuff. Like I'm excited to see this but it just doesn't. I. Maybe it's the holidays, maybe it's not the circles I went in, but I'm not seeing the super hype for this five days out. I think you're right of like I think that's on Friday when we're playing this and it's heading into the weekend with all the free to play stuff. It probably will explode. Right. It'll be exciting.
Snow Bike Mike
That's my expectation.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Show me seven months down the road. That's what I want to see. Show me seven months.
Snow Bike Mike
I can't wait.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I can't wait.
Snow Bike Mike
Me and you, D and D, we're gonna have a blast. There's Nick into this kind of thing.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You know what? Nick hates this game.
Snow Bike Mike
Oh, damn.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
And so I've, I've looked at Nick. I said, nick, on Friday we're going to play this. And you have two options. One, you can skip the stream, or on Friday, it's the first day of the game. You can open up your heart and try something new and see if you vibe with it.
Snow Bike Mike
No. Give Nick the day off. All right, look at me. I'm your Nick now. I am your Scarpino now. Put me in Nick spot.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You are in.
Snow Bike Mike
You're on it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I just want to run four, that's all.
Barrett Courtney
If y'all are it throughout the weekend, I do want to try it too.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh yeah, we're definitely playing.
Snow Bike Mike
Dude, we can run a five squad, cuz. No, it's six people, right? It's six. It's six. I'm pretty sure it's six players. So yeah, we're going to have a pretty good squad in this.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
We're going to have a great time.
Snow Bike Mike
Let's move on to story number four. Bloober's Silent Hill 2 team is starting pre production on a new project as the audio team is moving to Kronos the New Dawn. This is Alex Ko at MP First. While Bloober team just announced that they're already knee deep developing a new horror game in the New dawn, it seems that's not the only project the studio is working on. The dev team who worked on The Silent Hill 2 remake is now working on something outside of Chronos. This was something revealed by Bloober team in an exclusive interview with MP first, we asked straight to the point whether Bloober is working on two projects at the same time now that Silent Hill 2 is out. And here's what the game director of the New dawn had to say. Within the Bloober team, we have two production teams. Both teams operate independently. However, the whole team is sharing the experience of working on previous projects like Medium, Observer, Layers of Fear, Silent Hill 2, Blair Witch, et cetera. And all I can say today is that after the completion of work on Silent Hill 2, the team will conduct the pre production work on a new project. In the same interview, Pieko confirmed that the audio team who worked on The Silent Hill 2 remake remake has now moved to Kronos, which should be good news for horror fans. End quote. Sound is one of the most important ingredients of horror. And we are super privileged to have amazing artists and composers here at Bloober team to take care of it. I'm really proud of what the audio team accomplished in Silent Hill 2 Remake. And I can confirm that the same team is now working on Kronos. And we can't wait to share more about the sound of Kronos in the future. It's also not known if this pre production project is related to project. I guess that last paragraph was still a quote. Now this is end quote. It's also not known if this pre production project is related to Project R, a title previously confirmed by by Blooper team in collaboration with Skybound Entertainment that's targeting a 2025 release. Of course, there's a chance that this project won't be released in 2025. And with Kronos the New dawn scheduled for release sometime this year or sorry, next year, it might be. It might seem a bit odd for the studio to release two horror games based on new YPS in the same year. So they got two games. I know there's a. There's a lot in there.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
But seemingly they're working on Kronos the New dawn and the other game they're on pre production on.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
That's exciting.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Bloober team, go shout out to them. I really thought after I believe what the medium. I didn't know if they had the stuff or not. I didn't know if they were really going to stick around. And it's great to see that they have figured it out. They've gotten some projects and they're. They're continuing on. Which is great. Right?
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I hope they have it figured out. Right. I Hope Silent Hill 2 wasn't a one and done like, oh man, we hit gold with this. But then we go back to making games that hit like the medium. Right. I hope Chronos comes out next year and ends up being something that people pay attention to and that like they keep this thing going because they have the sauce right now. I think Blooper team had went from like, oh yeah, they're that one horror developer that makes like, you know, Laser Fear and Observer and stuff to oh, these guys made Silent Hill 2. Right. The remake that people really like. Let's keep that going.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
So you got sauce like you said.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You got the juice. Here it is. Silent Hill 2. So you weren't making your own. Right. You were riding the high off that. But you showed you can really bring that to light here in 2024. Yeah, I'm excited. This is great news.
Snow Bike Mike
If they're able to replicate that Mike, that'll be big. That'll be huge.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Huge.
Snow Bike Mike
But if I wanted something smaller, say the tiniest news I need to know about, where would I go?
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Plus you'd go to our last news story, the WE News channel, where we cover all the small news items you need to know about.
Snow Bike Mike
Story number five, it's WE News from PC Gamer. Blizzard is delisting the OG Warcrafts from gog, but GOG says it's going to preserve them forever anyway, hands out a discount and announces a new policy for its preservation program.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
New? Yeah, they said, yeah, actually we keep that around.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, we're like, ah, it's actually no.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
So you can buy it now for cheap.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Because I believe they're doing like a remaster of the OG Warcrafts over on like the Blizzard store.
Snow Bike Mike
Okay.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
So they want you to pay, you know, they want you to get up on that.
Snow Bike Mike
So yeah, if you want the OG Warcrafts, get it now from Shinobi602. Worlds Untold, another studio formed by ex Bioware veteran Mack Walters just last year and backed by NetEase, is pausing operations as they search for a new funding partner. The team was working on a new AAA IP. Devolver Digital has delayed three games in 2025. They are are baby steps. Stick it to the Stick man and Skate story. They did their Devolver Delayed thing and I watched through it. They're fucking awesome. They're so funny, this video. If you haven't seen this video, go watch it again. It's called Devolver delayed 2024 or 2025, I forget which.
Barrett Courtney
2024 Devolver delayed awards, the 15th annual.
Snow Bike Mike
So yeah, they made it like an award show. And my favorite is they have a memorandum for games that actually came out and it's really fucking funny. They're like, oh man. Yeah, fucking plucky squire came out. Rest in peace. It's like, it's, it's really well done.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I mean, shout out to baby steps, you know, I can't wait for that one.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, I'm very curious about it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I can't wait for that one.
Snow Bike Mike
Palworld collaboration with Terraria is coming in 2025.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I saw that. Yeah, cute, fun, good for see how that looks.
Snow Bike Mike
Triangle Strategy is currently delisted from the Nintendo Switch. ESH is coming back at a later date from vgc. The director of Visions of Mana has joined Square Enix following the reported closure of the NetEase own studio that developed the game. As spotted by noble Ryosuke Yoshida posted a message on X announcing the news. And then finally, Elon Musk says he's starting an AI game studio to make games great again.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Whoa.
Snow Bike Mike
He was also talking about possibly buying Hasbro. It's the weird thing of, like, you have to take him seriously because he's Elon Musk and he's one of the richest people on the planet.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
But it's also like, man, I can't take this guy seriously. Yeah. But the last time he did this, he bought Twitter and turned it into a fucking shitstorm.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay, so.
Snow Bike Mike
Well, he was.
Barrett Courtney
He was forced to buy Twitter.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. But like, he was playing around at first. He was like, oh, yeah, I'm gonna buy Twitter. And then he tried to back out of it, and turns out you can't back out of it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You don't back out.
Snow Bike Mike
So he's. He's implying possibly, maybe, potentially maybe buying Hasbro, who happens to own Wizards of the coast, which owns D and D and all this shit. Oh, no.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, no.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, yeah.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Oh, no.
Snow Bike Mike
Listen, Baldur's Gate 4 is about to look way different. Mike, If Elon.
Barrett Courtney
Elon Musk jokes about buying your company, just don't, don't even, like, don't.
Snow Bike Mike
Don't answer the email.
Barrett Courtney
Cuz that's what happened to Twitter. They met him at the table for the bit, essentially.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah.
Barrett Courtney
And then they're like, no, you're staying here.
Snow Bike Mike
And that's it for Wii News. A few more super chats for you. Mara says kind of. Kind of anime episode during the KF day stream. Question mark. We cannot confirm nor deny anything.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
No, thank you for a fun idea. We'll see.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. Thank you, Mara. Jordan White says free Rin is great, but delicious in dungeon. Blew me away. The writing is so good. Also, in my opinion, Fallout is greater than Cyberpunk. Edge Runners is greater than the Last Fletch, which is greater than Arcane Season one. Wow. So they're saying. They're saying Jordan White is saying his top shows. Right.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I like it.
Snow Bike Mike
It goes Fallout.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Fallout. Good.
Snow Bike Mike
Very good. Then Cyberpunk Edge Runner, then the Last of us. Then Arcane Season 1. Listen, that's your opinion.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, okay.
Snow Bike Mike
I'm not mad at it.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
They're all very. You got it, though.
Barrett Courtney
Cyberpunk's so goddamn good.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
You got a lot of good ones.
Snow Bike Mike
All things where I'm like, I look. I can look at any of those and I understand if you put any of Them at number one. You know, I'm not mad. I'm not mad at the ranking. Is it my ranking? Actually, I might agree. Wow.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Okay.
Snow Bike Mike
Bless.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I like that.
Snow Bike Mike
But also that could change, right? Like, I just. I just have a stronger the connection to Fallout out then. Actually, no, I do love the last was also. And I do love cyberpunk.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah.
Snow Bike Mike
I just really like to follow TV show. I think the Fallout TV show is amazing.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
They're all very good.
Snow Bike Mike
But I think most people would look at this and probably put either arcane or the last was number one.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Wow. Really?
Snow Bike Mike
I think most people. Yeah, Paul's pretty good. Paul's really good. Yeah, Paul's probably my number one. Okay. And then Dear Sixlet writes in and says, I just want to shout out that Alana Pierce has gone freelance. Hopefully the kind of funny best friend can help gas up her projects. Hopefully she can guest again too. I did see that. I meant to actually put that in. We knew. So thank you for adding that here. Dear Sixlet, that Alana Pierce stepping down from Sony Santa Monica.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Well, best of luck to her. Alana is very smart. She's very talented. She does a lot of cool things. I look forward to seeing what she's going to do in the future.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah. Very excited.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
I'll go watch that video right now. That's cool.
Snow Bike Mike
I mean, you're wrong. Neither of these are your wrongs. Okay. No, one of these is a troll. Mike, very good doing the show with you today.
Blessing Adeoye Jr.
Yeah, thanks for letting me do half the show with you.
Snow Bike Mike
Yeah, no, that was a great half show we did. Yeah. Of course after this is going to be Gamescast, we're going to talk about Nintendo. And then after that, me and Mike are going to meet again, talk about PlayStation. It's a very fun day here. Kind of funny. Of course. This has been kind of funny. Games Daily.
