I'm feeling really darn good. I'm excited for the weekend. I'm excited to game. Yeah, I'm excited to go on some urban hikes. Oh, I'm just, I. I'm just primed and ready to like to just get out there. It's going to be a war run this weekend, Mike.
B
It's been hot for the past two weeks.
A
Well, I mean it cooled off the last couple days, but my phone notified me. Hey, the warmth is coming back. The. The heat wave after it heat waves having a little encore? No, I don't go to the beach.
B
You're not a water guy?
A
Not a water guy? No.
B
Okay. So close to the water.
A
Sand guy? No.
B
Okay. It was all about walking down the great highway looking at the water.
A
I think I did that one time.
B
Pretty nice to shut it down or
A
no, maybe you, me and Nick did that.
B
We definitely.
A
When we did the. What about when we did the way most?
B
I mean, I'll be honest with you. I think about it every single day.
A
What?
B
Right. You and I going golfing. Oh, little IRL golf stream.
A
Sunday, look up some tea times.
B
Sunday I'm going to the bring your own big wheel race which is the 24th annual here in San Francisco. A ton of fun. Will I participate? Tune in to Greg Way on Monday to find out.
A
If I rip it, what does that entail?
B
Okay. Well, here in San Francisco, big San Francisco staple is called the bring your own big wheel race, which is a. A community event where you bring your own child's big wheel. Remember those three wheel.
A
Oh, rad trikes, all those things.
B
And then you smash down to San Francisco hill with a bunch of people. It's like it's a Red Bull event, but it's not a Red Bull event.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Now you're thinking, what was the name of that event?
A
It was like the, the dos, the duskin.
B
Now flutog is jump off. They jump off into the water. That's not the one where you're thinking of the one that they race downhill in the fun go karts. I don't know what that's called.
A
What about the one where they chase out the cheese?
B
The, the cheese wheel? Dude, I would do that. There's. There's thoughts in my mind. I could win that one. But you know what else I'd like to do? What about the greased up hole? We have to run up the pole. That's all greased up and then fall into the water and if you touch the end of it, you win.
A
Well, there was a moment yesterday when you told Nick and Roger I would dominate at. At Wipeout.
B
Oh, Wipeout. Yeah, yeah. But American Gladiator, I also.
A
American Gladiator. You said you dominate. Why you have just so much confidence, don't you? You get.
B
You never seen any of these shows and think, like I could get on that and do that.
A
Only an NBA game.
B
Survivor challenges easy. Like Fear Factor finale easy.
A
Okay.
B
You know I won Fear factor once. Now that's a cool story. Fear Factor live down in Orlando, Florida inside of Universal Theme park.
A
Okay.
B
They would have their own Fear Factor Live, which was a fun live show that they'd put on and allow, you know, customers to come in and be a part of. And so they would do three challenges. And then the finale was the actual fear factor. The car raises up. You're climbing up the side of the building, water's getting tossed on. You won that.
A
You're challenged. So Michael Howard text somebody back, said
B
I would win that. Got a bunch of text message.
A
The hardest. It's the hardest thing ever.
B
I got one guy invite me to his wedding. He looked at me, he goes, are you good? I go, I don't look at this.

Fans believe this cryptic Naughty Dog dev post is teasing Uncharted 5. This comes from Eddie McCooch at Gamespot. And Barrett's gonna bring up the Instagram post because this is what it set the world on fire. Naughty Dog's Uncharted series sold millions of copies across multiple installments, but the main franchise has been dormant since 2016's Uncharted 4. A Thief's End brought Nathan Drake's story seemingly to a close. Now, however, fans are theorizing that Naughty Dog might be returning to the franchise, thanks in part to a vague post from Naughty Dog creative director Sean Skag. A vague Instagram photo from February of a cannon in a tropical environment that has captioned research is now making the rounds. People are theorizing that Skag went to Fort George at Trinidad and Tobago to help research a new Uncharted game. It's rumored that merchants stored records and valuables at Fort George, further fueling the connection to Uncharted. Nothing is certain, of course, and Skag may have been referencing pretty much anything with his post, or nothing at all at the same time. Uncharted is one of Sony's most popular and best known gaming franchises, so it stands to reason that the company would eventually return to the series Snow Bike.
B
Mike, Fantastic.
A
You say that you are excited for this. You see this photo and it gets you all juiced up for the possibility of a return to the world of Uncharted.
B
Yeah, not really the photo or the post. I think that's more just for the laughs and just the fun of like imagine Mike and Andy going out somewhere. Cincinnati, Ohio. We just tweet on. Tweet. Research.
A
Research. People would start thinking in front of a B dubs.
B
I'm into that.
A
Right. Research with a picture of buffalo wings.
B
So I appreciate the fun I can't have off of just a photo. But no, I am an Uncharted guy. I'm very much looking forward to Uncharted. Before Intergalactic was announced, I was hoping that Naughty Dog would go back to Uncharted and we would just continue that. But I'm excited for Intergalactic. I think that's going to be really cool. But on the flip side, we talked about it yesterday on the kind of funny games cast talking about how we fix PlayStation. I would like an Uncharted sooner than later. Right. A lot of the audience right now is saying like, see you in four years, maybe five years. Right. It's like, oh, oh. I would have liked it Uncharted sooner than that. And I think especially for PlayStation first party output, I would love to see Naughty Dog team up with another team, have a smaller team start working on this and like get the ball really rolling a little bit quicker than a five year wait time on this because I'm super excited for the next Uncharted and what it could be.
A
Now when we talk about the future of Uncharted, you know, a lot of great characters, not, not spoiling anything. But really does seem like the end of Uncharted 4 is like that's the end of Nick's Nathan Drake's story. You know, that's the end of his adventure. You know, that was the one last ride. Barrett Courtney. I would say it's been 10 years. Uncharted 4 came out 10 years ago. That's a long time. It's a long time. I think we could talk about the ending of Uncharted 4.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
Cassandra, Cassie. Cassie.
B
Yeah.
A
At the very, very end, we see Nate, Nathan Drake's daughter.
B
Yeah.
A
And she just finished killing 60 men. Become tomb Raider with a shotgun and pistols. You know, she's just murdered. She's just like her father. Just, you know, chip off the old block, you know. But at the very end of Uncharted 4. You know, it seems like, all right, little. Little Cassie, she's older now.
B
Yeah.
A
And maybe she wants to make some adventures of her own.
B
I like this a lot, Andy. And I would definitely smile at the idea of this. I would also say, like, what if we go back to Chloe and Nadine?
A
That was a good game.
B
Give him a little something more.
A
Great game. Sean was one of the co directors on Lost Legacy as well.
B
I think the fun part about this is there's a lot of awesome characters in the Uncharted universe, and there's a lot that we'd love to see more of. Right. And so it will be interesting to see where they go. Is it Cassie's time? What is that story now? Kind of filling in for her mom and dad and going on adventures of her own could be really cool. Right? Khloe and Nadine, they had a really special story on that one. You could do more of that with those two. Could you. Would you roll back time and all of a sudden give us more Nathan, Drake and Sully? You know what I mean? They could. I'm not. I'm not over.
A
We see Harrison Ford coming back all the time.
B
Promise you, we could easily do that, you know?
A
So, I mean, right now, it just. It just hits my brain and I go, can you imagine if Khloe was Cassie's Sunny or Sully, like, if Chloe was the. The older figure in her life, the mentor? See, in my brain, I've thought a lot about this. When I did the Naughty Dog video last year, one of my pitches, because I was like, damn, it's been so long since we've had him charted. Here's, like, just five, like, pitches off the rip. I would go with Sam as Cassie's, like, cool uncle who, like, you know, everybody loves their uncle who lets them get away with a little bit more than they should. And, like, they're kind of. They're trying their best to be, like, not a parental figure, but he gives her beer. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Like, I. I think that's the way to go with it.
B
Pie in the sky. We go to Cassie.
A
What type of pie?
B
Apple.
A
Apple. Apple. Damn. That's what I'm talking about. Everybody here just loves apple pie.
B
Little blueberry lately, too.
A
I don't. I like a blueberry pie.
B
I like a little blueberry.
A
I love pie. I'm okay. No, miss.
B
You're a cheesecake guy, though.
A
I love cheesecake.
B
Similar texture, are they. Yeah. Vibe.
A
Maybe I'll like it.
B
We'll try it. Okay, now Back to it. Pie in the sky dream. You ready for this? Because you know I love a good little crossover collab. Cassie Drake is out there. She's out there looking for lost treasure. She's out there on the hunt. Oh, my gosh. There's some rumbling above her. We look up. It's Lara Croft, Tomb Raider.
A
Wow.
B
Now we have two badass ladies going back and forth, stealing and stealing from each other, stealing artifacts, taking it. It's. They're one up in each other, one's got there before the other. Then the next one's got to get back on there.
A
Laura's like, there's dinosaurs here. You know that this is crazy.
B
I'm back in time.
A
Wasn't expect. The people who own Lara Croft are having enough trouble trying to get her own game out. So they got. They have problem.
B
That's why you just let it be a cameo.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Got. Just. Here's a.
A
This is why you don't work in a studio.
B
Hey, I'm trying to save games here.
A
He's trying to save games, everybody. I mean, this would. This feels like. When we talk about. Nowadays, it's so hard to get new IP off the ground unless you are one of the biggest names ever, right? When we. I, I'll. I always think back to a. An interview that Vince blinking on the name of the actor from Wedding Crashers, Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn was talking about, you know, the whole idea of nobody makes these comedy movies anymore. And everybody goes, why is that? Is that because comedy is too edgy now and you can't be funny anymore? He's like, no, it's because of IP and studios that are greenlighting these projects. Go. You're not a known ip. You're not something that's going to want people to. That's going to bring people back to the, the, you know, theaters or whatever. So we are not going to be green lighting those things. We're going to be green lighting things that people already know. And unless you're Christopher Nolan, who can do whatever the hell he wants, unless you're one of these sort of art auteurs, you know. But with Naughty Dog, Uncharted has always been the. We have that in our back pocket. We can return to this sort of. This is our little. This is our little. Our safety pillow. You know, we come back to this, it makes us. It gives us comfort. We know that if we go back to the Uncharted, well, we're good for about 5 million.
B
You know, I mean, it's their Indiana Jones, their Mission Impossible, right? It's like everybody wants an action game. Everybody wants to defy the laws of reality and be able to do the things that we see in movies with James Bond, Mission Impossible, as I brought up Indiana Jones and they captured that with Uncharted, right? And it's like, yeah, there's suckers like me who just want more Uncharted.
A
Right?
B
Now you have a game like intergalactic, and they go, oh, I wanted it Uncharted, but, like, I'm excited to try it, but, like, I want it uncharted, you know? So that's why they go back to the well all the time.
A
Oh.
B
Because there's so many people like me.
A
I mean, there's so much comfort in there as well. Like, people know that IP People know that franchise people are definitely itching to go back. And it. I mean, Barrett mentioning that it's 10 years, that's insane. Like, 10. That game has aged like. Like a fine wine, man. Fine wine, baby. So delicious looking it. Lost Legacy as well. Oh, Lost Legacy. So good. Yeah. Shorter adventure play. Lost, like, and that's. And that's why, like, I'm really excited with, like, Sean coming back, right, because he left for a little bit to work on Marvel's Avengers, but then came back in the last few years and, like, replaying Lost Legacy, it was like, damn. Like. Like, this game does not get enough love because they were doing so many, like, cool things that kind of, like, shook up the kind of pacing of the formula of.
B
The formula of you're used to what
A
you'd get in a charity game. Yeah, yeah.
B
You're like.
A
You're kind of like. You're globetrotting. You're going all these different places. But Lost Legacy was like, hey, you're gonna stay in this one place for the whole game and you're gonna get, like, kind of like you're gonna get to know this area and explore around it. And that was, like, such a cool, like, different kind of pace for Uncharted. And I would love to see them experiment more with stuff like that with Sean coming back. If this is a tease for a following Uncharted, people in the chat were saying really quick that maybe this is just a tease for an Uncharted 1 remake. I don't think you go out to destinations for research for a remake. And I don't know if Sean is. Is. Would be part of a Uncharted 1 remake. Well, he did. He did work on the Last of Us Part one remake, so. Okay, well, fuck me then. Yeah. But I Still, like, it's not like they went out to Boston to do research for the Last of Us, Part one remake. You know what you're doing? Yeah, exactly. You have the assets. You make that look stronger. Unless you're adding, you know, new DLC or whatever, which we could be in the new era of. Let's make DLCs for old games. Come on. Witcher 3, where you at? Oh, man. If you come out with DLC this year, I will lose my gun.
B
You already have a lot of DLC still to play you. 2027.
A
How's yours? All day. You've been playing that for 12 years now.
B
I'm beating it tonight. And then I'm playing Majora's mask. Oh, you know, he's got a mask now. I don't know what it does, but I'm gonna find out. You gotta play this game.
A
I mean, I've. I've played them 20 years ago.
B
Go to Metacritic. Highest rated games. This game's at the top. Let me tell you what spoilers for next Friday. I get it.
A
Damn.
B
I get it.
A
All right.
B
I get it.
A
Story number two, State of Decay three Alpha tests to begin in May. This comes from Sal Romano at Gamatsu. Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Undead Labs will begin hosting a series of alpha tests for the 2020 announced State of Decay 3, which we saw in 2024 starting in May. The companies announced registration is available now via the official website. The alpha test will feature four player cooperative play, new base building and resource strategies, and quote, a whole lot of combat, according to Undead Labs. Brandt Fitzgerald. I'm struggling through it right now. There you go. Quote, if scavenging supplies in the middle of a zombie outbreak sounds fun to you, then grab your ruck. Ruck.
B
That's a ruck sack. Ruck pack.
A
Gotcha. Rucks. Okay, yeah, I've heard it as a ruck sack, but I've never quite heard like that. Grab your ruck, pack some mags and head over to our website to find more information and register for a chance to be included in the Alpha. Fitzgerald said if you don't get contacted for this round, don't worry, we'll keep your name on the list and have plenty of opportunities for you throughout the year. Mike, does this excite you at all?
B
Yeah, this is a big deal.
A
It excites me that it's not dead.
B
Yes. Okay, That's a positive way of looking at it. That's right. That excites you that it's not dead. Yeah, it excites me because we are moving closer to two state of the K3. When you look at the timeline, we're probably looking end of 2027. 2028 would be my guess. This is a game that's been. We've been waiting on it for quite some time and there's a lot of excitement behind it. When we talk about shared world multiplayer looting and crafting experiences. State of Decay 2 did a really good job with that and I'm expecting big things from state of decay 3.
A
Now when we talk about what this Alpha is, what do you think exactly this entails?
B
This is just to get community players out there and playing it. Probably to test a little bit of the server, but more just to test some of the game features and see if people vibe with that. If they like that, hey, is the map big enough? Are things needing to be changed up? That's what I would see out of this Alpha.
A
What would you say as somebody who enjoyed State of Decay 2, I didn't play part two. What would you say is like, here's what I am looking for?
B
Well, I personally want a little more than four players. I wanted about eight players. But what I want is a shared, constantly online world when I don't have to be the host, when you can jump in. I want my friends to be able to play whenever they want. I want it to be completely untethered. I don't want any more times when my friends have to be within 150 meters of me.
A
You're struggling to do it too.
B
Yeah. Those are some small things that I would ask for.
A
Okay.
B
Those are like the main ones I can ask for. I think State of Decay 2 has a great core. They've nailed the zombie universe, the scavenging, the interior and exterior of buildings and small towns. Like the map is a ton of fun to navigate and get through. But I'm looking for untethered multiplayer, a shared, always online world. I'd like more than four players. I would love to see more being built into the base building system. It's kind of just like a plot and then you build things within it. But it would be cool to like build out my own base. But now we kind of really get into the sandbox survival crafting. I don't think we'll get that. How?
A
You know, we've played a lot of survival games in our day And I see JG in the YouTube chat says that they confirmed that it's that the co op is untethered.
B
Mike, that that's why I'm telling you.
A
Yeah, we Played a lot of survival crafting games in our day and we've built many a base in our day. My house in. In. In Shrouded is looking real good right now, by the way. Mike, what are you looking for and what is the actual sort of base building looking like in. In State of Decay like in Part two? Is it just. I'm putting up a prefab. Like I'm putting.
B
You take over buildings that are already in the world that become the base and then inside of that there's little all whited out areas that you go up and go. This becomes the med station or hey, I want this to become bed. So there's not. It's not.
A
You're not building walls?
B
No, no, no.
A
Dang.
B
So that would be kind of the next step. But I do like what they have. I'm not mad at the upgraded base like they do where it's like, hey, here's already a base, here's the plot. You upgrade it, you kind of design it how you want. Of course, when we think of Unshrouded, you think of Dune. You build your own stuff. You know, I also think of those maps of kind of being empty and barren wastelands as like this is like a pre made city or town that you're running through, jumping in and out of pharmacies. CVS is Safeways and then coming back to your base.
A
So there's no. This is not a procedural game then. Like state of decay 2 was not a game that would like procedurally make. It was a pre made map.
B
Yeah, I mean I'm. I'm trying to remember if like the map changed in any way, but like there's four base maps there.
A
Right.
B
What would be procedural about them? Probably the items and the loot and the zombies where the hives would be. I don't think the buildings are changing all that much. Maybe, maybe there's some procedural of like how the buildings in the map is like laid out, but I don't think there's much like being barely brand new.
A
Yeah, it does look like it is. Is pre made that. I mean that all sounds pretty great. I. This is something I definitely want to check out.
B
This game is great.
A
Yeah. I mean I totally missed the boat on this. This wasn't. I think when State of Decay 2 was out, I wasn't even necessarily into these type of games. It. I. I want to say it was probably Icarus that got me into the sort of survival crafting game. And Icarus, like Icarus is one of those games that we loved and we fell in love with and we found a community. We, you know, we hung out with our friends so much in the world of Icarus. And that's probably a game that, if I were to guess, has like a 72 on Metacritic.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. It's a pretty poorly made game in a lot of ways. Right. If I. If state of a K3 comes around and is this. Hey, it's a lot. It's a lot like those other survival games, but with a lot more polish. That's what I'm kind of hoping for. I'm. I'm hoping to get this experience that is thrilling. I don't know what the boss fight or not boss fights, but I don't know what the zombie variety is like. Are we talking about where there's.
B
Yeah.
A
Left for dead bloaters and you know. Exactly.
B
Streamers. Big bloaters. Juggernauts, I think they call them in this one. There's also cars in this. Right. So you can drive around with your friends. That's really fun.
A
Is this State of Decay 2 right now, Barrett? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, like this is. I. I want to play. I. I'm looking forward to this, whatever this test is. Yeah. I want to get in there especially, you know, talking about how I'm also looking forward to hopping into the Legend of California beta. Oh, okay.
B
Okay.
A
I'm in the survival crafting mood right now. Once I started building my base and intro at it, I just like. Ah, it just. It scratches that itch that I really, really enjoy. Let us know in the super chats if you all plan on getting into state of decay 3 or if you're going to be requesting access for that Story number three. Any update is a bonus, not a right, says the Peak dev in response to lazy dev cycle accusations. This comes from Rebecca Valentine at IGN, the developer of 2025 surprise indie friend Slop darling. Peak is asking players to be a little bit more gracious to the studio when requesting updates. In a response to a tweet saying developer Landfall has a quote, lazy dev cycle, Landfall's official account clapped back quote, neither us or co developer Aggro Crab are live service studios. Any update is a bonus, not a right. This sparked via GamesRadar, which reports that this comes in on the wake of landfall day. Landfall's annual bevy of announcements on April 1, during which an exceedingly silly April Fool's Day feature that has players kicking each other off mountains instead of helping them climb up was revealed. While most replies are excited about this, the Inciting reply was less than thrilled. Quote, y' all are mad at Landfall for not releasing a game. I'm at Landfall for their lazy dev cycle for Peak when they could be doing so much more with it considering they're ending development of it this year. They wrote in response. Landfall's official account didn't hold back. Quote Peak has had so many updates, though neither us or agricrab are live service studios. Any update is a bonus, not a right, they wrote as a direct response. Another reply complained similarly, but why? It's an online game for 10 bucks. It would be so nice to get some new biomes or features. That's how the gaming industry works these days. To which Landfall said, quote, we have done a lot of updates with biomes and features with a little heart emoji to be like, all right, fuck you. You know, I love doing the little heart emoji too when I'm clapping back and we have at least one more. The industry used to be no updates, just release. As is. We have gone way beyond that. Shout out to Landfall telling you like it is. I don't. I too, I totally do not understand the responsive but why it's an online game for 10 bucks. Well, you're kind of giving them. You just explained to yourself right there. Yeah, you're not paying a subscription fee for this. You're not buying a battle pass. You gave them the reason right there. Well, you also don't have have to buy a battle pass for Fortnite, right? Like, is there such a with this landscape that people are so used to Fortnite and other live service, free to play games of still being, you know, regularly updated with content. Mikey, what do you think?
B
I mean, this comes with the problem of being so successful, right? And so it's like, yeah, when you make a successful video game that sells over 10 million copies is made by seven to eight people, right. There's only so much you can do and then there is going to be so much that the fans expect, right? They love this game. They want more of this game. People would die to be in this situation where it's like we're begging for more on the side of Landfall. It's like we're a small development team. We might be moving on to the next thing. We made this out of a game jam development with a co partner. Like we just wanted this to be fun and small and easy and get onto the next thing. I mean, that's the problem with super successful stuff now. People want more.
A
If I'm Landfall, I Respond to this one person on Twitter, meo the G and I go, actually, we're going to back charge you for all the other updates. Like all those other free updates. Those are now $5. You owe 25 bucks. Yeah, it's. I think in this day and age there is an expectation from an online game. Everybody just assumes that an online game means that all online games and all online developers operate similarly. When summer live service games and live service studios that you can expect constant updates from and seasonal things. And now we're doing the Christmas update and now we're doing this thing. And here's a new item on the shop that you could buy. But so many of these studios don't operate that way. So many of these studios, much like ago crab are 10, 15 people. Maybe they've scaled up to, you know, add some more bodies once they started kind of popping off with peak. But that's not the way they operate. That's not how they are built. Think back to, you know, talking about the naughty dog story yesterday of, well, are we. If we pivot into a live service studio now that requires a lot of kind of upkeep and you know, we're going to have to kind of look through and change the way that we do business. It. It things just don't work that way these days. And I don't know if a lot of people even really understand that. Obviously not with how some of these responses are.
B
Well, here's the positive. You got a bunch of free updates, you got free content. Right. If this team wanted to continue on and charge, they could strike back up the workforce, figure it all out and start charging and going off of that. Right. But as of right now, they're given you everything for free. They've given you as much as they wanted and they'll take their time on if they want more or not.
A
I just love the idea.
B
It's just the business.
A
I spend 10 bucks on this. Yeah.
B
And like, yeah, I mean, yeah, that. That turns into the friend slap conversation that we have.
A
Right.
B
There are so many of these games that I call you Andy. I'm like, yo, put down $10, put down 15, put down five. We play them and you're like, mike, there is barely enough for us to get through two hours of stuff.
A
Yeah, right.
B
So it's like there's like this weird conversation of like, you put down 10, $5. You're like, this should have been more, I want more. But like, this team has delivered all that.
A
And so you paid $10 for this four months ago, five months ago. And like, I don't understand how that's an argument. It's. It's such a silly thing.
B
But what they should do if they, if this was in their business model, they would start working on a DLC or an update that would charge money and then you capture a whole nother wave, right? You've sold over 10 million copies. But clearly they don't want to be just the peak studio. They're probably working on other stuff, right? But like, yeah, there's clearly been a conversation in the boardroom of like, hey guys, this sold over 10 million copies. We're on fire right now. Should we build a big, large update that is another $10, $5, right. And like capture a part of that 10 million units? Because probably going to capture it.
A
Oh, sure. With new content. Absolutely. All right, that's it for the peak story, everybody. But get out of their face. What's up?
B
Get out of their face. Let them enjoy themselves.
A
Out of their face. Let them enjoy themselves. All right, we'll continue with more kind of funny games daily after a word from our sponsors. You finally sit down to game. Just you, your controller, and zero responsibilities. When your brain decides that's the perfect time to say, what if I'm secretly a terrible person and everyone can see it but me?
B
Instead, suddenly relaxing and enjoying yourself is impossible.
A
Instead, your brain grabs onto that thought and will not let it go. Here's the thing. That kind of relentless thought spiral isn't just anxiety.
B
It could also be ocd, a condition
A
that's way too misunderstood and way more common than most people realize.
B
But it doesn't have to be that way.
A
OCD needs ERP or exposure and response
B
prevention, which has proven to be the most effective treatment.
A
And that's where NOCD comes in.
B
NOCD is the world's leading provider of
A
OCD treatment and it's covered by insurance
B
for over 138 million Americans.
A
All of their licensed therapists specialize in ERP therapy.

Details@lowe's.com terms subject to change. Ozzy Olivo writes in with a two dollar super chat. Still mad about the soup hate?
B
Yeah, a lot of people were mad about the soup hate. You know, we're just.
A
I think you deserve it.
B
We're not a soup team. You know what I mean? We're just on a soup team.
A
What do you want yourself, Mikey? Yeah, People.
B
Well, when they ask the people on board, they were not a soup team.
A
Sopa fideo, calo de pollo. Like, there's so many great soups that I remember when Greg, like, started listening off, like, pho and like, ramen.
B
Okay.
A
He's like, I don't. I don't mess with soup. Except for these six things. Kevin would.
B
They got mad about chili, and it's like soup, stews and chilies. That's how it always goes.
A
I love beef.
B
They're just so, you know, they're looped into the circle. It's soup, stews and chilies. It's all one. It's all one world here.
A
It's one genus.
B
Yeah. Don't be like, oh, chili's not soup. It's like, no, it's in the circle.
A
Chili is not.
B
It's in the circle. It's soup, stews and chilies. Everyone knows that. It's in the circle.
A
No, no, but you can't say everybody knows. But I'm not going to call it a soup.
B
It's in the circle.
A
Soup, stews and chilies.
B
It's part of the family.
A
Chili's its own thing. Chili's its own thing.
B
Chili's its own thing.
A
Chili is its own Chili's not big
B
enough to be its own thing. It's got to be lumped into the soups.
A
There are chili. Chili has its own festivals. What do you mean it has its own restaurant? Kevin with a $10 super chat says early birthday tax. Turning 29 tomorrow. Celebrating by seeing the Mario movie and playing Pecopia with my girlfriend. Thanks for everything y' all do and for getting me through all the dark days. Happy birthday, Kevin.
B
Oh, yeah, Brody.
A
That's not Kev Koala, by the way. But he'll be back next week. Lord foosh with a $5 super chat. 5th anniversary. Anniversary. Anniversary tax. Taking a train from Chicago to sf first class. Hidden up family in the city. Any good romantic dinner spots? Wife's a big foodie. Romantic dinner spots.
B
Top of the Mark.
A
Top of the Mark. Is that the name of the restaurant?
B
Top of the Mark? Yeah, it's the name of the restaurant, but it's on top of one of the larger skyscrapers in the building overlooking all sf. Kevin and Paula frequent it, so, you know.
A
Okay, gotcha. Yeah, that's.
B
I would pretty much go to. Go to Kevin and Paul's Instagram page and any fancy food spot that they've taken a photo of. That's where you should go.
A
Yes, go there. I. For brunch. I would say I love Brenda Soul. Brenda's French soul food.
B
Oh, I love Sweet Maple Baby.
A
Brenda's is pretty damn good.
B
That's some good ones right there.
A
Pie Punks.
B
Shut up.
A
Not a foodie place, but, I mean,
B
I'm a big fan of grabbing something on the mission to go, whether it be sandwiches, tacos, and then going to Dolores park and enjoying the sunshine and looking at the nice view. I think that's a killer, fun, romantic little afternoon you can make right there.
A
North Beach. I think you can't go wrong anywhere in north beach. Honestly. That's just, like, a nice little neighborhood to have a dinner in. Anything specific? I say Beastar. Any of the Burma family. That's always, like, a nice little spot.
B
Go across the bridge and go to Sausalito. Look at the bay. Very nice.
A
Wow. Really?
B
You ever been over to Sausalito?
A
No.
B
Like it over there? It's nice. What about a train ride? Would you do a train wide?
A
I would love to do it.
B
I worry that, like, I would be into it at first, but then, like, at night when it's time to, like, sleep and you're just kind of softly being jostled.
A
No, I don't think.
B
And there's a lot of, like, train Noise?
A
No, but that takes you back to being a baby and being, like, rocked to sleep, you know? Like, your brain kind of like, goes,
B
I think I like being rocked.
A
What about, like, this morning? Mike walked in, he goes, you go to church on Sundays?
B
No.
A
Church on Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday.
B
I didn't know if they had a holiday for church.
A
And we're like, yeah, you go to church on Easter Sunday. Is it a special one? Like, yeah, it's like, is it a fun day?
B
Is it a fun day?
A
Everybody dresses up as bunnies.
B
Do they. Do they hide eggs inside the church and.
A
Or the church parking lot in the backyard, you know, in the. On the lawn or whatever. We would always do like, a little, like, Easter egg of the church with the kids. Yeah, yeah.
B
Is that where the Easter egg hunt started, was at the church?
A
I don't believe so. I would have a feeling that if you. Part of me feels that, like, the most hardcore of hardcore Christians don't like Easter eggs. That's just how my brain is like, no, don't bring that. No, no, no. We're not. Whatever. Money don't commercialize.
B
Yeah, okay.
A
Yeah. My culture is not your. To bring it back to trains. I dream this. I dream of high speed. I'm jealous of, you know, doing cross country train from Chicago to hear. Because as some of y' all know, I hate flying. I hate flying so much. And I just want some sort of better rail system. Trains are cool. I just. Trains are cool. Like, if there's ever a movie where it's raining outside of a train and you're in the train, just love that. How about Bullet Train, the movie? Yeah, what about it?
B
Pretty cool.
A
All right.
B
Train to Busan.
A
Unstoppable with Denzel Washington.
B
Another trade movie.
A
My uncle's name. Or my. Whatever you said yesterday. My cousin's name. Useless. That Asian one with a ten dollar super chat says, feeling inspired to play the entire Uncharted series again. Can't wait to hear more. Hope your weekend is full of adventures. I get to sleep in for the week because the kids are on spring break. Have fun.
B
Remember when we tried to get Nick to play Uncharted? Didn't go well.
A
Man, it's just. What is wrong with his brain?
B
He doesn't like old games.
A
That's not. No.
B
Like, he's down with all games, but they have to feel modern. How about that?
A
I mean, I would say no still, because he doesn't want to with Spider Man. He doesn't want to with God of War.
B
Oh, well, yeah, but I Mean, like this is genre and Uncharted is part
A
of that cinematic thing. Ty Wilkins VO says with a $2 super chat says Uncharted 5. A thief's passing. Think about it. A thief's passing. The death of Nathan Drake.
B
Nathan Drake dies. Get this. You play the first mission or two as Nathan Drake, you start to worry. Ah, gets killed by golf and Drake start story. And then Cassie buries him, has to go out and seek revenge.
A
Oh, I thought you were saying her name was Cassie Berry. Flavorless disc. Flavorless pork disc with a 10. Super chat says delivering four pallets of Starbucks. And my second pallet fell off the lift gate due to the strap snapping. I need good vibes. Just 450 more boxes to take in. O Happy Friday, boys. Jesus. Flavorless. Be careful out there and make sure you're lifting with your legs. I know the. I guess the forklift is.
B
Call the neighbors, tell everybody to come help you.
A
You move for me? Yeah.
B
Like I'd look around and be like, get over here. Everybody grab a box. Let's knock this out.
A
I don't think he's doing this from home, but.
B
Well, I mean, wherever he's at, wherever you're at, just.
A
Just start yelling at disturbances.
B
Get over here. If I dropped a bunch of things in front of the studio, Charlie from across the street, he'd come help.
A
Well, yeah, okay. And then you would ask him, when's your birthday?
B
It's all about community, you know.
A
Only ask him for his birthday so that he could ask you yours so that you could say, mine's today so that he could tell you happy birthday.
B
My birthday.
A
It's a psychopath. This is a narcissistic psychopath. Falcon with a two dollar super chat. No, we're. Falcon, we're not doing this. Hot dogs and sandwiches. We're not a podcast from 2007.
B
Come on, Falcon. But it's soup, stews and chilies. Thanks.
A
Soups. They're in the same genus. I'm with you on that, Mike.
B
Thank you.
A
But chilies aren't soup. Snugs with a $5 super chat says. I never like to agree with Mike, but chili is in the circle.
B
Thank you.
A
How's the cans of chili doing? They're doing great.
B
Have you thought about cooking it up yet?
A
I think when the time is right.
B
When you're down on your zombie apocalypse.
A
Exactly. When the apocalypse happens and we. All we have in that house is Andy's, it'll last us a good while. Zest whisper says birthday tax from Ireland will always Be weirdly grateful for the Battlefront 2 loot box drama and for finding you guys. Thanks for the years of content. Whoa. That's crazy. Well, thank you for being here for so long.
B
Oh, do we need to call time out today right now? Read one more. I think we need. I think we're celebrating something.
A
Read one more.
B
Read one more. Super Chat.
A
Oh, okay. We have another Super Chat here from Spenny. Ten dollar Super Chat says happy Easter weekend to my favorite duo. Eat lots of good food. I just accepted a job offer for a new gig. That sounds like a lot of fun, y'.
B
All.
A
Gaming marathon this weekend. Well, congratulations, Spenny. Thank you for your super chat. I do want to play marathon, but tonight I will be starting for the first time Mario Galaxy 2.
B
That's great.
A
I'm pumped.
B
Well, good. That's great that you're celebrating that and starting that. Because guess what, Andy? Today we're celebrating you. Today is kind of funny. Andy Cortez's anniversary started in 2017. Nine years at the company.
A
That's unbelievable.
B
Can you believe that? As of today, April 3, 2026, Andy Cortez celebrates his kind of funny anniversary
A
all the way from 2017, April 1st on April Fools. I'm driving out my Honda Civic. On your way to Kevin's mom's house? On my way. Slept. Yeah, slept in Kevin's mom's house.
B
How long?
A
A couple months. A month? Yeah, a couple months. Yeah. And then we. Then we tricked him into moving in with us. Kevin will walk up to me and be like, come on, man, just stay there.
B
What?
A
You know? Yeah, I gotta assume his mom was like, I don't want to deal with, like, getting another, like, person to move in or whatever. She was like, come on, you sure you want to move? Or whatever. So he's, like, actively working against, like, me and Alyssa, like, trying to find a roommate. And yeah, he's just like, I mean, come on. I mean, he's Kevin. Yeah. And then we've lived with you ever since. Yeah. Which is crazy. Dude, 2017, nine years is insane.
B
What are some of the highlights?
A
Every day I get to get in my car and go home.
B
You love a good car ride. You tell me every day when you get in the car, you never go, oh, it's a 45 minute drive through hell, Mike. It's always, I can't wait to get in this car, Mike.
A
I'm so excited to get the on, man. This stupid car.
B
Can I leave earlier for work? I'm trying to beat the traffic.
A
He yells and then Mike goes, just stay here. Or. Or you'll run out to the car and block my car from leaving.
B
You know what you could do?
A
What?
B
You could stay from now on, miss the traffic, and then just drive home late. We got a streaming setup here.
A
You can just stream from here, monitor.
B
We can bring all that in.
A
Yeah, we could bring all that in when you reconfigure my room.
B
When am I going to be allowed to do that?
A
This is just like all of your fan anniversary. No, I have some design ideas, like
B
what might call up Ty from America's home restoration project to get some fun going.
A
Okay, coordinate with me, Mikey, so then we can coordinate getting.
B
You better get lucky. You're lucky I didn't act during. While you had a Helsinki. I should have done that while you were gone. I could have easily called Barrett and be like, oh, yeah, he said yes.
A
But Bear knows not to trust anything that comes out of your mouth. We all know story number four. Jason Blundell starts yet another studio. Magic Fractal says the third time's a charm. This comes from Varun Karunakar at Gaming Bolt. If you've grown tired of all the disheartening news about layoffs in the gaming world, there's a story of resilience that could light up. That could light things up for you. Nearly a week after Dark Outlaw Games was shut down by Sony, its founder Jason Blundell, whom you might know from Call of Duty Zombies, is back again with another studio. He's joined by his former colleague JC Backfire, a constant presence in a rather turbulent couple of years following Deviations closure back in 2024. Blundell's refusal to back down in the face of adversity is indeed a beacon for the rest of the gaming world as it reels from a multitude of issues that have left talented people in the lurch. Quote, third time's a charm. And if not, it's the fourth time, end quote. That's the. That's quite the quote, and one that might go down in history if Blundell's messages, or if Blundell manages to finally make the video game of his dreams under the banner of his latest venture. Whether it's going to feature ideas from the mystery project he was working on at Dark Outlaw Games or remains to be seen. This is one of those weird ones. When the news hits that this Dark Outlaw Games gets shuttered, I thought it was still deviation. I got lost track in the time and lost track of, you know, got lost in the sauce. Yeah, I Mean, good luck to Jason Blundell. That's awesome that you're, you know, you're showing that resiliency. I, I hope you're well funded. I hope that whoever you hire, you know, can land on their feet, you know, pretty quickly and get acclimated to the whatever it is you're going to be working on. But this is a, this is an odd one. This is one where I'm just like, I would like to know more before getting too excited about the good news. You know what I mean?
B
Of course. Jason, very well known for the Call of Duty Zombies history and timeline of it all. Being a game director for Call of Duty campaigns and zombies back in Call of duty Black Ops 3 and 4, I believe, helping create the Call of Duty Zombies comics as well. So a lot of great talent and a lot of expertise from that area. We will see what he creates and yeah, best of luck to him in the team.
A
What do you think he's working on?
B
I don't know.
A
Like at Dark Outlaw Games, I mean, you know, we've seen a lot of studios, hey, this is the new game from the former whatever devs and they, you know, try to, they usually stick to their guns. Right. Speaking of, you know, guns. Thinking about how the former devs of Apex went to go on and make High Guard, started their own studio, things didn't work out too great for them. I got to hope that he's not working on a multiplayer game or something that requires constant lobbies and finding other players because I think that is the most turbulent of markets you could get into right now.
B
The quick, the quick search was it's a single player narrative driven title that was Dark Outlaws games of what they were doing.
A
I guess we'll have to wait to hear a badass.
B
Badass zombie Wolfenstein story slash narrative driven first person shooter campaign.
A
So not Nazis or no, zombies.
B
Zombies. But I'm like, think of Wolfenstein like the, the look and the feel of Wolfenstein.
A
Okay.
B
But it's like it's an undead zombie story.
A
I could with the first person shooter campaign.
B
Yeah.
A
Give me a quick little efficient jaunt through whatever your twisted mind has for me.
B
Call up Disney. Ring ring Star Wars. Give me the Stormtrooper Jabronis Republic commandos. Let me make a Republic commander first person sugar campaign. Ring ring ring. Ring ring ring Daddy Xbox. Hey, what are you doing over there? Let me make some more Gears of War for you. Just like you did with the best Gears of War. Gears of War, the mini project that I love so much from Gears of War. No, no, no. The standalone one Hive Buster. Let me make another Hive Busters for you. Ring Ring Halo. Let's get some good publicity with Halo. Let's make a sick Halo standalone game.
A
This Ring Ring segment better than your Ring Ring segment on the Xbox One.
B
Ring Ring.
A
You had us all confused there.
B
We're making four times.
A
That was what I'm like, Mike, Stick to what you do.
B
Stick to.
A
Stick to. I don't know about this.
B
Stick to the legs of the river.
A
I don't know about this. This pre written comedy bit.
B
I. You know, when I write that out, I feel real good about like you're nailing this so hard.
A
When you got there was a lot of confusion, a lot of like, what. What's happening right now? Just keep mispronouncing words. Be funny. Well, we'll see. We'll see what Jason Bledell gets up to, Mike. Hopefully it's something real big. But I'm tired of all that big news. If I wanted something smaller, say the tiniest news I need to know about, where would I go?
B
Jason, good luck to you, my friend. You'd go to our last story, the WE News channel where we cover all the small news items you need to know about.
A
Welcome to We News. The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to PC Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere on June 2nd.
B
Nice.
A
When I think about Bethesda's online offerings. Okay, Mike, part of me wishes that, you know, we could go back in time and just change things. Oh, and I could. If I could time travel back in time, I would go Todd hard. In about six years, you're gonna release a Fallout TV show. Do not release Elders or do not release Fallout 76 yet. Wait on it.
B
Sit on it.
A
And also it's going to be really broken and like bad at launch and people are going to hate it. But it's going to get better over time. Okay, live through all of that. Do not release it yet. Release it. Season one hits. But can you imagine how massive the like. Except the game comes Fallout MMO at that time. But if they hold it, maybe they take time to like. And it's not shitty and broke. Yeah. And you know, there's NPCs. Yeah.
B
You know. Well, the Elder Scrolls Online is a great game. I. I hope that you've spent some time in it.
A
I have not.
B
Very, very good. I'll always remember the reveal of it, the fun PvP aspect of it. Remember, there's three factions going to war on one map. Very, very cool stuff. And of course ESO has also had a long lifespan now of going out from a premium title to maybe an online monthly paid title to a free to play title. It's been a, a long life for this game and I, I hope it you gets more.
A
I mean it just makes me happy whenever there's an MMO still going.
B
Yeah, bless you.
A
Bless me. I think of like Star wars as well.
B
Sweater.
A
Really surprising that I played some sweater. Really surprising that they're still like, yeah, there's still player bases for this. That's great. Shadow Rush has been announced for PC. Steam Description says Shadow Rush is a multiplayer parkour FPS where fluid movement meets massive mechs in fully destructible levels. That's right. This is like the very indie we want to make Titanfall since they're not gonna make it.
B
Wow.
A
Wall run, grapple and smash through cover to outplay your foes in kinetic high speed combat as a map changes every fight. Join the Rush in our free open pre alpha and wish list now. 96 out of 100 user rating on itch IO. Oh, I mean, yeah, dude. You know, this reminds me a lot of Battlebit Remastered. You know, a studio go, you know, small team saying we don't need our to look like. I don't need to see every pore in my soldier's face. Let's make a very lo fi but still visually appealing game that's got, you know, a sharp look to it with awesome movement. This looks pretty rad.
B
I mean, yeah, this is where it all starts, right?
A
Yeah.
B
You find funding, you find a player base, maybe you get more. You can go even larger with this. Maybe you have a story like the portal people that we like that was doing the Halo portal game, Split Gates. Oh, right, right before they went full mag on them. Yeah, you know, went a little too far.
A
Yeah, I went a little too far. From Kotaku, the head of Take Two's interactive AI team has seemingly been laid off, along with an undisclosed number of other employees working on leveraging AI at Take two. The person who fired him. AI. AI? Yeah. Do you think they built the AI too? Like, all right, we don't need you guys. The AI works. Morbid Metal launches in Early Access on April 8, which is one I've been looking forward to. I did not love the Steam Next Fest demo of it. Morbid Metal is a game that is published by Ubisoft and it is one of the most visually gorgeous action hack and slash video games. I wish it was not a Roguelite and there was just something that didn't quite click with me, but I'm hoping to see, like, once we hit this sort of early access period, maybe, you know, maybe it brings me back, maybe I get back in. But it's. It's a. It's one of those games that you look at, you're like, oh, this. You know, visually, everything happening, lighting here, it's like, this is like, this is next gen. That's the sort of vibes I get from it. Did it always run great? No. Unreal Engine 5. Stutter, struggle. You know, the usual that you would expect. But. And then also for audio listeners, like, just visually, visual art style. When you think of Andy Cortez and, like, also thinking of, like, gameplay and think of Andy Cortez, this seems just like, hey, we want to test it. We want to make a game specifically for Andy. Cybernetic Ronin. Like, it's all these different. Yeah, I mean, it's. It's got visual sauce for sure. And that's one reason, you know, that's the thing that drew me to it. But, yeah, this is a. This is one of those weird ones where when it was first, you know, revealed, we were looking at the info. We're like, published by Ubisoft. Interesting. This isn't developed by Ubisoft. It's just them going, hey, that looks pretty cool. We can maybe make money on that. Okay. Yeah. So cool that they're finally hitting early access April 8th. That's in five days. The new Denpa man is coming. Nintendo Switch 2 on April 6th. Everybody get ready for the new Denpament.
B
What's that?
A
It's a game that we saw on a direct one time, and it's a. It's a. It's a remake of an old game called Denpa Men.
B
Okay.
A
And I actually did put one of the new Denpa Men back on our goatee wall whenever we would do our game of the year. So I did put one there as a little Easter egg. Yeah, I put one in the countdown as well. It's one of those weird ones where you're just like, I didn't know that this was ever a franchise. And then people try to come at us and go, come on, you don't know Denpa.
B
You don't know the dead.
A
I'm sorry, I didn't know that. Again, my All Hit video had about six games to rent, and Denpa Men was not one of them. Nexon has agreed to publish Overwatch in Korea.
B
Wow. Okay.
A
All right. Big news there. Let's get to some super chats. That's it for the Wii news segment. We'll get to the rest of the super chats and get to kind of funny you're wrong where you can write in and let us know what we got wrong on kind of funny.com forward slash. You're wrong now, Dempa man.
B
Was that a multiplayer game? Is that a tomodachi life game? Is that a multi RTS strategy game?
A
It was a multiplayer game, yeah.
B
A multiplayer game with turn based tactics.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay, cool.
A
Keeping it real says not technically you're wrong. But this is some clarification in the Easter egg tradition. Something it comes from a pagan tradition, but that is wrong. It started in medieval Europe as a way to break lent. For more on this I recommend checking out Dan McClellan an excellent biblical scholar and has spoken on this topic before.
B
Beautiful.
A
Beautiful.
B
I might play I am Jesus Christ. I'll have answers or have questions.
A
You're playing through that.
B
I mean like maybe one day I'll dip my toe into it. They had a great games cast place.
A
Really?
B
Did you watch it?
A
No, I didn't get fantastic stuff.
B
Please.
A
I just look at him.
B
A ton of fun. He looked great.
A
I couldn't look at Dick like I just as he was there, as he was taking the photo there with Greg. I like I said it several times. I hate the way Nick looks like. I just hate Nick.
B
You ever miss you used to be Greg right there next to him?
A
Did I what?
B
We look back on your nine years. You and Nick. Remember that time you were in the bathtub together eating ice cream donut day with no pants on. Do you ever miss like you could have been that right next to him in that suit?
A
I'm okay. I'm all right.
B
I miss you two together like that.
A
Is it one of those where it's like I look at Lebiton Stu Gotson like man, I just wish you guys.
B
I wish you two would just get
A
back together, bring back kfa.
B
I wish you two would just get
A
back together, just clone me and I'll be able to work on KFA kebabs. You're wrong. Says we missed we news from yesterday. Well, that's not true. You don't know what our we use. You don't know. You don't know. But it is talking about how they're talking about how the ghost of yote raid drops April 11th.
B
Oh yeah, there's some you or April 10th.
A
Sorry. April 10th.
B
Will you jump into it with them?
A
Which is so. It's so unfortunate because I wanted. I wanted to play Ghost of Yote Legends. And I still can. Granted. Right. But man, Sony, you can't be doing marathon Angusa yote. Like, we gotta space these things out. Bless was talking about, like, yeah, I really would love to play Ghost of Yote Legends. I love to play this raid. But you. You released two different games that require you to find gear and get stronger for an upcoming raid. Yeah, and that's just. That's a lot of. That's a lot of stuff. I just don't got time, man. I gotta get my ass. Whoop. A deadlock. I went like 1 in 5 in deadlock last night. It was a disaster.
B
No invite, no text message.
A
You're playing Zelda. Not that you'd respond there anyway. Like, what do you mean? And then claim that you. You're not getting anything.
B
Yeah, let me tell you what. This lady impa sacrificed her life for the greater good.
A
Damn. You think you would ever do that?
B
Yeah, for you. If you wanted me to become one of your stages, I would. I mean, no. When you need me the most, I'd have to be there.
A
All I ask of you is just to respond to his expense. You can't do that.
B
It doesn't make noise anymore because you have an iPhone5. I'll buy a new iPhone.
A
I'll buy a new iPhone.
B
It doesn't make noise anymore.
A
God, he hasn't. He hasn't called me.
B
Chat.
A
Two slacks, two phone calls, three text messages. Just a liar. Kobe aren't says with a five dollar super chat. Blundell's doing the equivalent of Michael Scott where he says he has no shortage of company names. Gladys. He's continuing his passage.
B
That's good.
A
Jeremy Games with a five dollar super chat says taking a train to Ohio next month to visit home. Stopping in Chicago for a few days. Buy those tickets, Barrett. For what? Like buy those train tickets.
B
Buy those train tickets.
A
Night die. Night die Killer with a five dollar super chat says using this money or use this money to buy Saints Row 3 on Steam. Also, shout out to Twitch and YouTube. Night Die Killer. Shout out.
B
Nice. Okay.
A
Gerardo Martinez says Happy Friday, y'.
B
All.
A
Andy, when are you gonna have SOPA video next? And Mike, how's the yams doing? I won't be having to video until I go back home. That's the only time I get to have it. And my car. The ams.
B
What is that?
A
It's just. It's. It's. Yeah.
B
Soup, stews and chilies.
A
You could say those three words. Sure.
B
In the circle.
A
Yeah. I mean, if it's a Soup, Sure.
B
Would it be in a recipe book? That soup stews and chilies.
A
Yeah.
B
Nice.
A
Yeah. So I. I always grew up just calling it fideo. But then anytime I post photos of the video, everybody responds. So by the fideo, it's like, okay, different. Different upbringings, you know, Everybody calls it something different. I have Jonathan Ace iii, Esquire, with a two dollar super chat that says, mike, tell any about your sock situation?
B
Have you heard about my sock situation? Do you remember this?
A
I think I'm vaguely aware of the sock situation. Something about a hole.
B
Yeah. Back in middle school and high school, I didn't like the fabric.
A
Yeah.
B
That connected next to your pinky toe toe. Because back in the day, we had a lot of fabric on that. You also had the big. The crease from the top of your toes over, if you remember.
A
I don't think people look back at 20 years ago. Oh, man. Dude. It was a different time. 9, 11 happened and people had a lot of fabric on socks.
B
We moved to dry fit socks. Now, like, Nike perfected the socks with the dry fit socks. And now we all want to do that. Hanes went overboard too much. It was the 90s. Your dad wore whitey tighties. It was a different time back then. Yeah.
A
Fruit of the Loom, tiny whities.
B
Everybody was wearing tighty whities.
A
Oh, you went whitey tighties. Okay.
B
Tighty whities.
A
You said whitey tighties. Whitey tighties.
B
Oh, whitey tighties. Well, the same thing. And so, yeah, I did. I didn't like the fabric rubbing up on my pinky toe. So I would cut the fabric piece off that little knot of all the extra fabric off, which then exposed my pinky toe at all times. The freedom that is because everyone knows your day starts with a great foundation. Your underwear and your socks.
A
And you take those underwear off when you get home.
B
Hell yeah. You should be free balling in your free time at all times.
A
Honestly, I respect. I can't even be making like that's more normal than. Nailed that one. The pinky toe. Which is honestly the weirdest thing I've ever heard an adult talk about. I used to shave my widow's peak, and now I'd give anything to have that hair back, you know, right here.
B
It would, like, come down a little bit.
A
Yeah. So my brother would do it.
B
Yeah.
A
I was like, oh, I have to do it too, because that's what he does.
B
Because you want that fresh lineup.
A
I guess. Yeah.
B
I feel like that's what my mom
A
was like, what are you doing? Why are you shaving that? You're five years old. An idiot. Idiot asked me to do. Everybody, this has been kind of funny. B
It's Andy's ninth anniversary. Celebrate it.
A
Let me get.
B
Can we get to 19?
A
Let me get to my 10th.
B
No, I'm 19.
A
I don't know if I could be around for that another decade.
B
You love games. Yeah, funny.
A
You love Mike. I'd love to buy a house one day.
B
You buy a house here?
A
Really?
B
Yeah, you just gotta save extra hard. Extra, extra hard.
A
Yeah, you just. Andy, you just gotta, you know, pick yourself up off your booth.
B
Yeah, just save extra hard.
A
I just gotta know somebody.
B
Ramen for the rest of the.
A
I gotta know somebody at Blackrock. Yeah, you just got. You just gotta work really, really hard. Really hard. Enjoy. The Gamescast next and the stream after. But until next time, it's been our pleasure to serve you.
(Episode sections and highlights below exclude ads, intros, and outros.)
Andy and SnowBikeMike host a lively and insightful episode breaking down the hottest video game news, industry rumors, and listener questions. Central to today’s show is rampant speculation about a possible Uncharted 5, a deep dive into State of Decay 3’s alpha, developer/consumer communication discourse, and the tenacity of creators like Jason Blundell in the face of repeated studio closures. The hour-plus run is punctuated by their signature banter and community engagement via Super Chats.
[06:20–16:47]
The Tease:
Andy summarizes a hot topic: Naughty Dog’s Sean Skaggs posted a cryptic Instagram photo of a cannon in a tropical setting, captioned “Research.” Fans believe Skaggs was at Fort George in Trinidad, historically tied to valuables and adventure, sparking rumors of Uncharted’s return (06:23).
Fan Reactions & Possibilities:
"Not really the photo or the post. I think that's more just for the laughs and just the fun... No, I am an Uncharted guy... I would like an Uncharted sooner than later." (07:51)
Industry Observations:
Andy underscores why studios revisit old IP:
“Uncharted has always been the... We have that in our back pocket... It gives us comfort. We know that if we go back to the Uncharted well, we're good for about 5 million [sales].” (13:40)
Mike echoes how fans crave more and how Uncharted is PlayStation’s “Indiana Jones” (14:16).
Lost Legacy Appreciation:
Commentary on Sean Skaggs’ role and the inventive structure of Uncharted: Lost Legacy (shorter, more focused, fresh pacing). Andy and Mike note the possibility of further experiments in an Uncharted sequel/remake (15:36).
[17:19–23:57]
Announcement & Alpha Details:
State of Decay 3 begins alpha tests in May. Four-player coop, new base-building, survival, “a whole lot of combat.” (18:03)
Series Wish List:
Mike wants more than four players, “untethered” online play (not being forced to stay near the host), and deeper base-building.
“I want my friends to be able to play whenever they want. I want it to be completely untethered. I don’t want any more times when my friends have to be within 150 meters of me.” (19:32)
Base Building & Survival Genre Chat:
[23:57–30:10]
Backstory:
The indie hit Peak got an April Fools update. A critical tweet called its development “lazy,” angering devs.
Debate: Updates as Entitlement?
“In this day and age there is an expectation from an online game. Everybody just assumes that all online games… operate similarly.”
[41:46–48:38]
Context:
After repeated studio closures (Deviation, Dark Outlaw), Jason Blundell (famed for Call of Duty Zombies) quickly launches a new studio with JC Backfire.
Speculating on the Project:
[48:51–54:30]
[33:02–41:46 & 54:47– end]
“Chili’s not big enough to be its own thing. It's got to be lumped into the soups.” – Mike (34:04)
“As of today, April 3, 2026, Andy Cortez celebrates his Kinda Funny anniversary all the way from 2017...” – Mike (41:39)
This episode blends genuine excitement about a possible Uncharted 5 with healthy skepticism, a developer’s-eye view of community entitlement, and hope for the industry’s creative survivors. Andy and Mike balance sharp commentary with off-the-cuff humor, making it a can’t-miss daily recap for anyone following the pulse of gaming news.
Until next time: “It’s been our pleasure to serve you.”
