Today's stories include Xbox console prices are going up in the US Silent Hill F reviews are in and new details about the canceled Perfect Dark. Well, all this and more because this is Kinda Funny Games Daily. Yo, what's up? Welcome to Kinda Funny Games daily from Monday, September 22, 2025. I'm one of your host blessing. Adio. Yay, Junior. Excuse me. Joining me is LaCroix, Poppy, Tim, Mo Yetis.
B
You saying Xbox console prices going up in the US Again? I was like, again after last week, but I was like, no. Okay. We didn't cover the news story the whole week.
A
No, this came in later on twice. They're like, oh, we put up the wrong prices.
B
You know what? I can't imagine. That's what's terrifying.
A
Yeah.
B
All of this. Oh, God. How was your weekend?
A
Weekend was good. Weekend was busier than I anticipated with magic, it seemed. Oh yeah. Played a lot of magic. Me and Snow White Mike hung out.
B
The magicians.
A
Yeah, the magicians. That's what they call. Both of us hung out for most of the day yesterday because we went to a pre release event. I was explaining this to Greg of like before. The week before, you have like new sets come out. You can go to game stores and basically play games and take those cards home. And the more games you win, you win prize packs. And so me and Mike went home with three prize packs.
B
Hell yes.
A
Yeah, we won a few games. We won one game and got a buy. And so basically we had to sit out for a round, but that counted as a win for us. And so went home with some extra packs.
B
Take it.
A
Yeah, W is a W. It was for the Spider man set, which was a really, really fun time. I saw. I was nervous about this one because I saw a lot of hater raid going around about this set from the magic community and going into it, I was like, all right, what bullshit they got. I fucking love this set.
B
Okay.
A
I think this is a really fun one.
B
What were they hating on?
A
I don't know. Mike told me casually that like, oh yeah, the magic suites aren't. Aren't liking this from what I gather. And this is just in general, when it comes to the collaboration, they do what I gather, magicians do.
B
They gather in general.
A
I think the amount of collaboration st is kind of weighing down on them. Like, I think people want original magic content. Yeah. And so when you have this year, that is Final Fantasy and Spider man and Avatars coming up, it's like, I'm excited because I like those things, but also I Get where people are like, well, I love my magic shit. You know what I mean? Like, I want fantasy, you know, this stuff. And so I think that's probably part of it. And then mechanically, I don't know. I don't know what they were looking for mechanically, out of it. The game.
B
I do love that the chat seems to understand what's going on. Everyone's just mad. There's so many Spider Man. The size of the set is small, and the amount of Spider man is huge, which is great.
A
It's like, what do you want out of a Spider Man? Spider Man. It's Spider Man. Yeah. There's the. You know, they got multiverses and all this shit. So there's a million Spider Man. Oh, yeah, that is true. They don't have Commander sets for this. Like, a Commander precon for this, which upsets me, but also, like, I'll just make my own.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, I mean, I love deck building. So that's where we're at. Love that. Yeah. I did that yesterday for the majority of the day, and then on Saturday went to the theater and I saw the new Kanye west documentary or new ye documentary.
B
I did not realize I was in theaters.
A
Yes. Only in theaters, not on streaming.
B
Okay.
A
Let me tell you, that shit was stressful. Yeah, that shit was a stressful watch. Not my favorite documentary by any means. Like, it's very much. There was a dude who I think is 26 now, around the age of 20, just started following ye around everywhere and recording, like, all of his stuff. And the idea of it was that ye wanted somebody to record his, like, mental health journey and kind of, like, be able to put that out in an authentic way. And so this dude just recorded. Yay. From the years of 2018 to 2024.
B
So this is a spiritual successor to the last documentary where the exact same thing happened with a different dude. 1000% the best when you think about what that entails. But okay.
A
The last documentary I really enjoyed from, like, it was well put together. This one felt like just a series of clips edited together with, like, no interviews. It's just raw.
B
During that time frame.
A
When I tell you that, man, I came out of it feeling bad.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
I came out of it feeling stressed.
B
I'm surprised that you went to see it specifically in theaters. Like, that's a choice.
A
Yeah. My thing is, I grew up a Kanye west fan. Right. And I think there's a level of it that sort of feels like closure to see. To, like, kind of see the inner workings of what he was like, doing and going through and all this stuff, but, ah, it just sucks. It's the thing where it's like when you combine somebody who refuses to get help, somebody who's going through such severe, like, bipolar disorder, like, episodes, and then also somebody who just believes in a lot of bullshit. Right? Like, it just leads into, man, this is a recipe for disaster because you also have so much power and influence and everybody. Oh, man, it's a fascinating watch because you just see people open doors for him because he is who he is and because he has as much power and money as he does. And so he's in rooms with very important people being him being. Fucking saying the most like, bullshit. Oh, my God, Tim, I would say you should watch.
B
I mean, yeah, no, I don't recommend.
A
Most people watch.
B
Yeah, I get it, I get it. There's. I also had a very stressful time in the theater. I watched Stephen King's the Long Walk. I was like, you were gonna go there? No, you should. Excellent, excellent film. But, yeah, very stressful and not a fun watch by any means. Yeah, a lot more violent than I expected, even when I was told it's very violent.
A
Okay.
B
Yeah, there's. There was a lot going in there, but, yeah, definitely it is a up move. It's just so messed up to be in the state of the world we're in right now watching, like, fiction that's like less up seeming than things that are actually happening. And you're watching, you're like, this is the most fucked up thing I've ever seen. What about.
A
I mean, there's a list of movies, though, this fall. Yeah, I feel I. I should listen to the screencast that y' all did last week of every movie coming out.
B
Yes.
A
Because I want to watch Long Walk. I also want to watch the new Leonardo DiCaprio, which looks great. Yeah, one. One battle at a time.
B
One more battle after another.
A
One battle after another. Yeah, that sounds right.
B
I think so.
A
Yeah, I want to watch that. A lot of movies happen.
B
Yeah.
A
And also a lot of video games.
B
So many video games.
A
Because remember, this is kind of Funny Games daily, each and every week that we run you through the nerdy news you need to know about live on YouTube, Twitch and on podcast services around the globe. If you love what we do, support us with the Kind of Funny membership on Patreon, YouTube, Spotify and Apple podcasts to get all of our shows ad free, watch us record them live and get a daily exclusive show for a chance. We have hardly show some of Your thoughts and opinions as YouTube super chats as we go. Housekeeping for you. We're in 11 person business all about live talk shows. So today after kfcd, you're gonna get gamescast, which is our Silent Hill F review. Madeline Stanley is joining us. She's played through the game for us and we'll be talking to her all about that. And then after Gamescast is the kind of funny podcast. Then the stream afterwards is one with Andy. There was a game that's written, that was written there that's not there. So I assume it's not that game.
C
I wanted to, I wanted to give him kind of the, the out on that game just in case. Cuz I feel like the conversation he had about it, it didn't seem like he was super excited to play that. So I just wanted to give him.
A
The options because the game was going to be Dying like the Beast. And I was also kind of surprised that Andy's name was on Dying like the Beast because I don't know if he's actually played the D, so I.
C
Don'T know if he like if he's in the mood to play. So I just, you know, I just, I took that out.
A
That's fair. That's fair. And then this morning a new episode of Kind of Anime went up on YouTube and in review podcast feeds where Barrett and Mike discussed the new Demon Slayer movie, Donda Don Season two and much more, which is really exciting. I've been seeing, I've been hearing a lot about that Demon Slayer movie. Oh, if you want to hear more, it's good. It's real good. Okay. I was gonna ask you, but I didn't want to spoil Kind of Anime. But now you gotta go, you gotta listen to it. See what all the hype is about. Maybe I'll listen to it. Maybe I was supposed to be on this and then get around to watching Donna.
C
I was really. I really thought you'd be caught up on Donadon.
A
Yeah, it's just been a. It's the video games, so many games. It's just a busy season.
C
You know, I was gonna jokingly include King of the Hill in this episode because you know it's everybody's favorite anime. But yeah, with you not on it, it didn't feel right.
B
So did real quick. I know we're like already going long in this intro. I just want to say, I know we, the three of us were watching King of the Hill as it was going. I don't think we ever fully caught up after it was Done. But the biggest takeaway I have is Gia, who dislikes animation. I will just say that, like, she just. It. It's just for some reason, it loses her. And she knows that's a problem, but she can't get past it. It just is what it is. And also, like, comedy animation very much not her thing. She fell in love with King of the Hill this season when it ended, she's like, I. I can't wait for more. And I was like, we can go back. She's like, no, we watched some of the old stuff. She's like, this, this is.
A
See, I did the same thing.
B
Yeah.
A
Because I didn't. I didn't watch. Watch King of the Hill. It was always like, on tv. But I. After the new season, I loved it so much that I tried to go back and I was like, I'll just wait for them to release new episodes.
B
Exactly. Exactly. But I just. I love that it. It won her over. Like, that's just how good that was. Dude, check out King of the Hill on Hulu Man. It's good stuff.
C
Like, the best compliment I can give was just like, you posted it, like, blessing. Ten minutes after I had finished the last episode as well. It was like, man, I really wanted the next episode already. Like, I was really sad to realize that that was the last episode and it ends in such a. A good place if you've been invested in those characters. So. Yeah.
A
Did Futurama ever come back?
B
Yes.
A
Yeah, Futurama's backwards. But like the most recent time, because I saw it was in the news like a year ago or something.
C
Yeah, that. That first season came out and it's back for its second season. Back as like, you know, the coming back.
A
Is it good?
B
I don't know.
A
Oh, oh, you don't want to watch it. You're like, you're like, I'm done with Futurama coming back a million times.
C
Then it ended so perfectly already. Like, I don't know.
A
Oh, do you know what's on right now that I've been into already? Gen V. Oh, it's back.
B
Fuck, it's so good.
A
We're so fucking so gotten, dude.
B
Between that and Peacemaker right now, when superhero TV is good, it's fucking good. We've had so much just blah.
A
Yeah.
B
In the last couple of years. But we've also had some hitters. And right now, having two of those a week, I'm like, we are eating.
A
We're so back. If you're kind of funny, member today's Greg Way is Greg's 24 minute review so far of Skate. Wow. He's been playing skateboard. Thank you to our Patreon producers, Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster and Delaney. The song twining today are brought to you by Shady Raisin Factor, but we'll tell you about that later. For now, let's begin with what is and forever will be the Roper Report. It's time for some news. We have six stories today, Baker's dozen, starting with our number one. Xbox Console prices are going up in the US Again. This is from Rebecca Valentine at ign. Xbox console prices are about to go up once again in the US after already rising back in May. Announced on Friday, Xbox will increase the retail pricing of Xbox Series S X, Series X Digital, and Series X 2 terabyte Galaxy Black Special Edition consoles beginning on October 3rd. Prices for controllers and headsets will not change and there will be no pricing changes outside of the US at this time. Price increases will be as follows. So the Series S 512 gigabyte is is going to $400. That's up 20 bucks. Xbox Series S 1 terabyte is going to 450. That's up 20. Xbox Series X digital is going to 600. That's up 50. Xbox Series X is going up to 650. That is up 50. And then Xbox Series X 2 terabyte Galaxy Special Edition, which doesn't sound real, is $800. That is up $70. Xbox says the price increases occurred, quote, due to changes in the macroeconomic environment and adds that in the future it'll continue to focus on offering more ways to play more games across any screen and providing value for Xbox players, end quote. Tim, what are your thoughts on the macroeconomic environment?
B
This is rough. Like, it sucks. We know why this is happening and that reason sucks. We don't need to go over it again. Yeah, right. It's tariffs. This, we know this is happening. Like, we all saw it coming and now we're in that world and it's like saying, I told you so. I don't even know what that helps, but here we are. I told you so cool. It just sucks because like, these numbers are insane. Prohibitively expensive for a console that already wasn't selling. So this is going to be such a problem. Like, do you, I imagine that this stuff is just going to be sitting on store shelves. Like, who in their right minds in 2025 is buying an Xbox Series X for $600? The digital edition. If you want the disk drive and you want more terabytes, you're going up even more. Like $800 for a Xbox right now is crazy work. Yeah, but it is what it is. I get where we're at. It was very fucked up. That iPhone, iPhone 17 announcements happened last week, right. And pre orders go up. And it sucks that I was stoked to the point that I went, fuck yeah when I saw the prices because the prices didn't go up from last year. Prices are insane. I should not be excited about this, but I was so sure that we were about to be fucked and it was about to be insanely more expensive. And, you know, apparently there was like some stuff with Trump and the tariffs of not affecting smartphones in certain ways because they understand that the, the economy of all that, like, would affect them negatively. That sucks that they get to pick and choose things like that just based on what affects them. This is going to affect so many people. And again, it just like comes down to this happened across the board. This is not an Xbox versus PlayStation console war bullshit in any way, shape or form. Everyone's hardware is being affected. It's just the hardware being affected, I think affects Xbox more than it affects others because they already had trouble selling this stuff. And this is all bad news. There's no good news to come with this. There's no, like, well, at least, blah, blah, blah. It's like, yeah, we're already being told by Xbox, hey, this generation is changing by next generation. We're working on a PC platform ecosystem. Why would you buy an Xbox right now?
A
Yeah, yeah, I think you said it all there. I think the thing that jumps out at me is seeing the Xbox Series Square. 512s s. Right? 512 gigabyte being $400. And that being the skew. Where I looked at that when it first launched was, which was, correct me If I'm wrong, $300. And I remember seeing that being like, oh, I can for sure buy that for my nephew for Christmas. Right? I can for sure. Like, that's something I can. I can, you know, dish out the money for seeing that at $400. No, absolutely not.
B
Yeah. There are these, like, there are lines. Everybody just has their lines based on their own economic situations. Right, Right.
A
Yeah.
B
And they know their finances better than anyone else does. And like, yeah, you saying that it's like there are the difference between 300 and 400 for your place in life.
A
Yes, for me, that's the line.
B
And like, yeah, I do think that these numbers are talking about, like, sure, oh, it's just $20 up. Well, it's $20 up from three weeks ago when it was $20 up. Like, this is not the first time these Xbox consoles have had price increases. Like, obviously, again, we're not saying anything that we haven't already said, but how up is it that we are this deep into a console generation? Five years since the Xbox series debuted and the prices are higher, not lower. Like I remember. And I. This is just old man talking, but it's just like I Remember when the N64 dropped like under a hundred dollars. Oh, man, oh, man, that was crazy. And that was at that point it was like, oh, I can buy a PlayStation Now. I was a Nintendo 64 boy. I now can get into the PlayStation ecosystem. Because that system, after releasing at whatever it was, 300. Was it even 300 when it first came out? I don't even know if it was that much. Yeah, I know PS2 was PS1. I'm not sure, but I remember buying the PS1 when it came out, like when it dropped like to literally like $100. And again, I know old man shaking his fist at cloud shit, but like, just even considering that it's the opposite now and it's just endless and that, I don't think this is going to be the last time this happens.
A
Yeah, I think my thing is I also expect this to increase the marketing for, hey, play anywhere. You know, if you got a phone, you can play Xbox on your phone. If you got a tablet, if you got a PC, if you got a Samsung smart TV if you have, I imagine more TVs by now.
B
Right.
A
They've expanded this, the smart TV thing to more brand.
B
Yeah, to LGs.
A
LGs, yes. Okay, that's what I thought. I felt like we talked about newer ones, but yeah, yeah, I think that's a push. They're going to make more and more because I think out of all the companies, Microsoft is kind of ahead of the curve. I think partly based off of just how their business has shifted and how they've kind of had to change with Game, Game Pass and having all these studios under the belt and all this stuff. Right. Like, you need to find ways for people to play your game. And yeah, to your point, this shit's gonna be sitting on shelves already. Xboxes were sitting on shelves, but now it's like, okay, well, if we're not able to get people in with the exorbitant amounts of. Exorbitant amount of money it's going to cost to continue to buy an Xbox console, we're going to find other ways for people to get in, which is going to be the cloud stuff and it's going to be the play anywhere stuff, I imagine.
B
Yeah. I just can't in good faith recommend anybody buy an Xbox at this point at these prices. That's crazy.
A
I want to bring in some super chats. These are unrelated. Well, they're related to conversations we were having earlier. Justin7 writes in and says, hard to watch King of the hill if you ain't from Texas. I disagree. I mean, I guess I'm from the.
C
Midwest, which is kind of like disagree with that. But yeah, I'm also from the Midwest, so maybe there's some. Some kinship there.
B
Yeah, I mean, I loved it.
A
Yeah.
B
He's a coastal elite.
A
Yeah, for sure.
B
Yeah. Dude.
A
Kyle Bluff says, bless. Bring back the paused Zelda sticker. I. It was just too big and it took over too.
B
Here's my thing. Bless. It was too big. It was too big of a statement about you. You know, you're not that guy. I never wanted to say it, but now that it's gone, I feel like it's. I'm allowed to.
A
Yeah.
B
And really, it was the size. It's like the best.
A
It was the size. It was a solid green.
B
The prominence of it. Like, you're not that guy.
A
What was the.
C
What was the really funny sticker that.
A
Yeah, I had that. Bring that back. I had on. Here's my thing, right? Y' all gotta make fun of me more because I put the Zelda sticker on my laptop and I. I forgot it was there, like legitimately. Every day I come into work and I'm like, oh, today's the day I gotta take off the Zelda sticker. And I forget every single time until I'm mid episode and I look up and I'm like, oh, the Zelda stickers.
C
That's bring back Pogtillo.
B
Funny, dude.
A
And potillos was when I also got self conscious enough about. Because the chat would make fun of Pogtilos in a way where I'm like, it was such a funny sticker and that's my sense of humor.
B
But.
A
But also I was like, I don't want. I don't want that to be my brand. You know what I mean? What's your brand?
B
Out. You're a liar.
A
Well, this is like, it's Liza P. It's a Liza P. Reference. And so now it's like, okay, these are all gaming references that you may get. But yeah, the ipod. Zelda to be blessed is so Insecure. Yes. I am so insecure. Chat. All right.
B
Deal with it. Okay?
A
Just deal with it.
B
We're all just trying to get by Xboxes or $1,000.
A
We all have flaws, and that is mine. All right. It's my insecurity lifted. I says Apple gave Trump a gold trophy to remove tariffs. And then Gerardo is. Sorry, Gerardo. Gerard is cool. And says, do y' all have a Halloween costume in mind yet? I like that. As a off topic question, I don't.
B
I, I don't either. And like, I, I tend to not really do the Halloween thing. Every once in a while. I'll do it. But I, I'm getting a lot of pressure from G. Now she's all pregnant and she got this big old bump.
A
Yeah.
B
She's like, we gotta do. This is our only chance to do a baby Halloween thing.
A
And I'm just like.
B
And like, the only thing I'd be down to do is Fantastic Four.
A
Okay.
B
But I wanted to look because their outfits are sick. And I'm like, well, I'm not mad at wearing that, but I don't think I can get her the pregnant sue costume. You know what I mean? I don't think they make that. That's pretty neat. Oh, like, okay, maybe, I don't know.
C
A little bit of research. I feel like you could find it.
B
Yeah. You know, I'm gonna look up pregnant Sue Storm, see what happens.
A
Justin7 says, Did y' all get a collector booster too? This is back to the Spider man magic conversation. No, we might them. I don't know yet if we're going to get those in the mail, but Mike went to four events this weekend. His Internet went out on Friday, apparently. And the shop that we go to has pre release events that start at 11pm and so at midnight, this motherfucker was playing magic on Friday and then went back three more times on Sunday with me. And so he bought a lot of magic cards. God bless him.
B
That's awesome.
A
And then Terry Huffman writes it and says, roger and Snow White Mike are the best combo. Which shout out to that in our. We're doing KFD 2000 in a few weeks. We're celebrating the 2000th episode of Kind of Funny Games Daily. And that's coming up. We put up a poll and like one of the questions we had was, what is your favorite KFC duo? Let me tell you, reading through the answers, very fascinating. Enlightening. A lot of duos I wouldn't even expect. Yeah, yeah. Just I. I appreciate the variety in there. Everybody has their own duo. Oh yeah, yeah, everybody has their own favorite. And that was very nice to see.
B
Love that.
A
Let's move on to story number two. Silent Hill F reviews are out. We got a roundup for you right now on Metacritic is sitting at an 85. On Open Critic it is sitting at an 87. Oscar Taylor Kent at Gamesradar plus gave it a four out of five and says every part of Silent Hill F is a piece of a jigsaw. And those jigsaws, once completed, are bigger are bigger jigsaw pieces of an even larger jigsaw puzzle. And once you get a sense of what the jigsaw picture is, even with pieces still missing, you begin to feel a little unwell. Which is why I'm a little disappointed. That uneven combat encounter design threatens to pull me out of it and makes it hard to recommend for those who may find the easiest settings too irritating to push through. But those horror highs, those horror highs raise the bar for the genre standing on its own. Silent Hill F is a great place for newcomers to get into the series. Ellie Gold at PC Gamer gave it a 90 out of 100 and said silent Hill F is a true return to form, a game that not only can stand proudly shoulder to shoulder with other Goliaths in the series, but one that is brave enough to brave enough to take risks and deploy changes to set the groundwork for what I hope to be the standard of Silent Hill games going forward. Jessica Cogswell at Gamespot gave it a nine out of 10, says Silent Hill F is not just a return to form, it's a remarkable evolution in a visual spectacle, a mastercraft in psychological horror, a work of narrative brilliance and a new benchmark for the Silent Hill series. And then Tristan Ogilvie at IGN gave it a 7 out of 10 and says silent Hill F presents a fresh new setting to explore in a in a fascinatingly dark story to unravel, but its melee focused combat takes a big swing that doesn't quite land. Of course our games cast after this is going to be our Silent Hill F review featuring the one and only horror queen Madeleine Stanley. But Tim, going through these reviews, what's your response?
B
I think this is awesome. I think this is really, really great that we are seeing a new entry in a Konami franchise review. Well, and a new entry that doesn't just follow up what came before. But this is different for Silent Hill, right? A very different setting, a very different tone and look and I think that it's achieving what they set out to is so great because this was not a foregone conclusion like just a couple years ago. And I mean, maybe two years ago, we're looking down, it's just like, all right, there's Metal Gear Solid Delta. We have Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober team. And then there's the Silent Hill after. There's also a bunch of other Silent Hill things like a movie and this and that.
A
Whatever. Yeah.
B
And there was very little faith, I think in all of that. There was like a hope. But now that we're on the other side, it's like, hey, they kind of did the damn thing. Like, yeah, there were some misses here and there with some of the side projects, but with the core projects that they needed to pull off, they're three for three. And I think that that's very good for gaming and for Konami specifically. Like to. To look at the iconic Japanese developers that we have that have access to such insane ip. I mean, Castlevania, baby, where you at? Yeah, but like, I just think that this is a very good sign. And I also think that it's good that we, within a year we get a remake of a beloved game in the franchise and a brand new entry that are both doing very, very well. Like Silent Hill is back. Yeah, that's great.
A
Yeah. This makes me so happy for Silent Hill fans and also makes me really want to try this game. Like this is one that. And I feel like I keep saying this so I sound like a broken record and chat. Tell me to stop if I'm saying it too much. But like, if there weren't so many video games coming out right now, this is one that I for sure would. Would want to get to. And still I'm going to try to get to before the end of the year. Right. Like, I think seeing that, like you said, Silent Hill is back makes me want to jump on that train in the same way that I think Resident Evil in the last, I guess seven. It's been a while, but Resident Evil had a huge renaissance coming off of Resident Evil 7. And then you had the remakes and all that stuff and jumping into that and having that be kind of my, you know, full intro into Resident Evil and enjoying Resident Evil and really falling into damn, now I actually care about this franchise. That's so cool. And I'm glad that we can do that for franchises that are this old.
B
Yes. You bringing up Resident Evil I actually think is very apt because there was that time where Resident Evil was iconic franchise that reinvented itself with four to be even better than what came before. And it's, you know, the way people talk about Resident Evil 4 is like, there's reason for that. Like, it was innovative. It was so special and different at the time, but it was also still a Resident Evil game. Like, it got rid of a lot of the core things of Resident Evil, but like it redefined Resident Evil. And then you get. You had five, you had six, you had like the Revelations and all that, a ton of spin offs. It just kind of felt like the franchise was franchising.
A
Yeah.
B
And you know, like it wasn't hitting. It was just like, oh, we're getting another one of these. And then when we got Biohazard seven and that was a brand new entry, first person changing it all up. Right. And getting the remakes back to back and having those alternating years where it's just like, dude, they killed it. And they allowed a new kind of jump on point. For now, hardcore fans of Resident Evil, like a new re is not going to come out. That blessings not playing. Yeah, that would not have been the case before all this. Right. So I do think that that moment's happening now for. For Silent Hill. And it's. I'm very excited to hear what Roger has to say about this one because I know that he was actually a new convert with Silent Hill 2 remake last year. So, yeah, great stuff. Overall, not my thing. I've never been into the Silent Hill because I don't really like the kind of like heady supernaturally type horror stuff. And then even with this, I'm like, I also don't really like this type of setting horror stuff. So this is like a double whammy for me. Of like, probably not for me. But again, I love that we're at a point that some of the major horror IPs in video games are getting their second dues.
A
Hell yeah. I want to bring in a super chat from Claw Master that says, Fun idea for KF2000 episode. What if you made the episode as if it was made in the year 2000 with all the corny things we thought would be the future. Here's the thing. We already got plans.
B
We got some great ideas.
A
We got some ideas already for KFC 2000, so don't you worry. Also, I did see somebody earlier in chat though. Oh, Lucid Dream says, why don't you guys. I lost it. Why don't you guys play? What you want to play is essentially what they. What they ask. I am like, that's the problem. Well, it's I think it's a two pronged thing, right. Too many games that we want to play. There are too many games that we want to play. Because guess what? I want to play Ghost of Yote. Like that's. You guys know how much I love Ghost of Tsushima. And so when we get the code, which we can talk about, right? Like I'm going to play that for review. But then also like, video games are our job. And so there is a, there is a level of I am playing video games because I want to make the content and I want to be able to review the stuff, which also just takes up bandwidth. If I can create more time of the day, trust me, I'd be playing more video games.
B
And since we're on this topic, yeah, like it is very interesting and there's not right answers to any of this stuff. Like I get where the sentiments come from, but I think it's important for people to, to realize not just like, oh well, it's a business, so they have to talk about SEO trending things. Like, it's not that it's more that we as a group have discussions. So we can't all just play all the games that we want to play whenever we want to play them. Because then we're never going to be able to sit down and have a conversation about one game. Because if I played Silksong now and I'm so fucking into it and you play it three months from now and you're talking about it, I'm not going to remember the level of discussion that I'm having with you is going to be just below surface level. You know what I mean? And so it's like, yeah, there is something about all of us deciding we are playing this and there's access there. Like not every time that can happen due to schedules, due to how many codes we get due to anything. But like it is just best faith efforts at providing a place for us to have productive conversations about games. And I think that that relies on multiple of us committing to a thing. You know what I mean? And committing to we're going to talk about this game on this date, whether it's embargo or otherwise.
A
Yes. And it's also like the thing of I have a backlog as well, right? Like I have silksong downloaded on my Steam deck. I'm going to Magic on this weekend. Hit me up if you're going to be at Magic on Atlanta. Very excited about you going to Atlanta. Yeah.
B
Holy.
A
Magic on is in Atlanta. I'm going to. Never been to Atlanta before. Very excited to go. Maybe you do a meetup or something. I'll figure it out. But I'm very excited. If you're there, holler at me. Let's talk. But I got Silksong downloaded on my Steam deck for the plane. And like that's one that if I wasn't playing Redacted and Ghost of Yotei and a third redacted or actually no Sonic Racing. We already reviewed that so I can throw that out there now. I don't have to play that anymore even though I enjoyed it. But between that, I also hit up Greg for a kingdom come deliverance 2 code because with Game of the Year season coming up, they're putting out words.
B
Blast, dude.
A
I know. And I don't want to. No promises. No promises.
C
No, you said the game already.
A
You have to promise. But I did look it up. It is Steam deck playable. And so I have. I have it installed on a machine. But it all again comes down to time. And like I know many of y' all understand this of trying to play multiple games at the same time is really hard.
B
Sometimes it's impossible.
A
I think of the game trying to Juggle three.
B
I tell you this right now, you cannot play Silksong in another game. So.
A
And maybe it's really hard.
B
Maybe this is just me talking Silksong. It infects your mind. Bless. I for the last week haven't been able to function in the real world without thinking about dashing. You know what I mean? PTSD of things hitting me. My life is a bullet Hell storm.
A
Yeah, listen, I. I've been reviewing Ghosty OT and Sonic Racing at the same time. You know what I mean? And a third. There's a third game I threw in there. I'm just gonna say I'm gonna try.
B
Okay, I'll try.
A
Let's see how much of this game I can beat on a plane. We're gonna move on to story number three. But before we do, want to tell you about patreon.com kinda funny and YouTube.com kinda funnygames where you can go and get the Kinda Funny membership which allows you to get shows ad free. B
Before we get to story number three, can we just for a second shout out Steam Deck oled.
A
Dude, I wish I had an oled.
B
I wish you had an oled.
A
I have the OG Steam deck and I want an OLED so bad.
B
I fucking love this device.
A
Yeah.
B
And like right now like with Hollow Knight and just indie games abound with we have Hades next week. This week.
A
This week.
B
Oh my God.
A
Next week. This week.
B
It's just like what an amazing device that is just such a additive experience to my life and like right now in particular, like I just had the long flights back and forth from Paris. Like you just you have Atlanta coming up. Like God we live in Such a great time that these games that are undeniably going to be game of the Year contenders that we could play perfectly. 90 frames per second portable.
A
Dude, I know that OLED combined with Hades 2 is probably an experience.
B
It's. Oh, it is. I know it's hdr, but, you know, anyways, it's gone. We're living out here.
A
Gondor's Condor says bless. Speaking of Liza P. Did you play Overture? Here's the thing. I played a large chunk of Overture and then on a stream, I hit a wall where, like, it wasn't even a boss. Tim. Yeah, it was just a big enemy and it was just a bad day and I rage quit that stream and then I ended up off stream going back and beating that enemy just out of spite. But I couldn't do it on stream because I was too heated and I haven't picked it up since. But like, I. I want to say I'm a third of the way through it. If I had to guess, I'm at like the prison section to like, leave spoilers out of it. I think I'm toward the end of it. So let me know how far that is into the dlc. They'd be like, oh, you're only attending, but also, I want to get back to it.
B
Yeah. On top of that, though, like, the new games that we're talking about with Silksong and Hades, but like, even just hold your games like a month ago, the month before.
A
Yeah.
B
Ninja Gaiden, Ragebound and Shinobi. Art of Vengeance. Like, God, what an amazing year for 2D games, dude.
C
Blessed. Did you ever play Shinobi?
A
I tried it. I dropped off pretty quickly. I liked it, but I was like, I. I got other things I want to play instead of.
C
That's fair. And then I wish it looked better on Switch.
B
Rogue Prince of Persia is the other one that.
A
Oh yeah, that did come out.
B
1.0 is out now and everyone's like, dude, it's fucking awesome. But that might be the worst time for that game to release. There's just too many things like it that I'm like, I will get to it. I just don't know when. Yeah, that's probably a next year situation for me.
A
Ziran writes in it says, maybe a games cast topic, but has 2025 been the best year of games? Showing off a variety of of games. Thank you for all your work. I mean, I've been thinking this for a little bit already of how much I love this year for the fact that it feels like, in the Game of the Year conversation, there's not like the traditional straightforward triple A action game. It's all weird shit, which I appreciate. Right? It is Silksong is Metroidvania. It is clear, obscure. It is Death Stranding 2. It is DK Bonanza. Even though I know that's like, oh, it's a 3D platformer, DK Bonanza is still weird in its own way that I fuck with.
B
I also think that just like the. The to what you're saying here, the variety of games that are high quality, I think that definitely my gut is, yes, I think we might need to look a little deeper to actually say that for certain. But, like, I do think that, like, we are just having such amazing experience. I feel like this is easily the year that people are kind of funny. The most people are kind of funny. All love, to the nth degree, love different games.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
And there's a lot of crossover. The Venn diagrams are in freaking saying, like, we're getting to a point that with the way that we rank our Game of the Year thing, it's hilarious. Where the we might get to a point that our top fives, everyone just has similar games in a different order. And that order could dramatically change how our top 10 actually shakes out. Which is, like, pretty damn cool because, like, I think in addition to all the games I just mentioned, like, the 2D platformers popping off 2D games, not just platformers, but Metroidvanias or Action or otherwise. But, like, this was a killer year for remakes, man. Like, we got so many amazing remakes of games. And, like, again, new IPs coming out of nowhere like the Expeditions and the. Hey, here's a game that's not full retail price, made by a smaller team. That's amazing. Like, yeah, great stuff.
C
I'm really excited for Game of the Year because it's for me, probably since 2021, the year that Ratchet and Clank one for us, like, I don't have a clear vision of, like, I've been able to pretty regularly guess what our Game of the Year is going to be this year. I cannot guess what.
A
This is what I need from you. All right? I need. I need you to do me a solid.
B
Yeah.
A
All right. You know how Roger and Mike be out here colluding. They'll be out here discussing things or whatever. All right? Me and you, we got. We got to push for blueprints. I feel like it's me and you in these streets. Maybe Roger did you. He's A blueprints guy. How much. How much did he like blueprints? He hasn't finished it. But you will play it. He's coming. I mean, I. My November is open, right? Like, in terms of games. So I have blueprints. I have hollow knights. Oh, you know what I mean? Tough. Tough decision right there. But I'll try.
B
I'll boot up.
A
I mean, blueprints again. Okay. I need that from you. You need that from me? I need that from you. Yeah.
B
Why do you say it's a tough decision? You loved Holiday.
A
No, no, I'm just saying, like, I. I want to play both of these games. I just have limited time we have with this. Yeah, I play blueprints. You let me and Mike trade whenever we want to. No, that's not how that works.
B
Whenever they want to. He's just like it. I'm gonna ask for the moon here.
A
You give you a million dollars. What the fuck are you talking about?
B
Okay, listen, I. I feel confident.
C
Blueprints getting on the list. If you and I, like, are so in love with it, right, Les? I don't know how high it might get on the list, but it'll be there. I feel like.
A
I'm just saying it's still. It's still my number one. You know what I mean? So, like, if it's my number one.
C
I've got three different games fighting for the top three spots right now. It's tough.
A
All right.
C
It's a good year for video games.
A
We need more puzzle poppies in this office. Let's. Let's have Kevin vote one year, and all of. All of his slots are just blueprints, because I think that's the only new game he's played this year. Exactly. For the one year, let's just have Kevin vote for the one year. You know what I mean? Let's think about it. Think about it. Story number three. Concept art and gameplay information from Xbox's canceled Perfect Dark game has been shared. This is Chris Golian at Video Games Chronicle. New information. Concept art relating to Xbox's canceled Perfect Dark reboot has been shared online. Internal documentation required. Acquired by MP. First shows concept art for some of the game's locations as well as gameplay details. The documentation refers to game concepts like a relentless system and a reward system. But goes into more detail on another concept, the adrenaline system. According to the description, this would have made adrenaline a finite resource which the player could have regenerated over time. Having adrenaline would have given the player various abilities such as healing, increasing damage dealt and Reducing damage taken. Other adrenaline features would have included slowing down time to dodge bullets, better aiming precision, and increased movement speed. The documentation also refers to season one, implying the game may have been episodic, and includes concept art for the various Eco Sci Fi locations set to be featured in the first season, including Cairo. Tim, do you care?
B
I mean, no. Especially not at this point, right? Like this, the game's not happening. It felt there was that weird. Oh, it almost had a second chance. No, it didn't. So, yeah, it's just fucking sad that, like, games this big can be canceled and, yeah, we're always going to hear about what could have been, but I also don't have faith. Like, I don't. I never really had faith that Perfect Dark was going to be the one. Yeah, I wanted it to be. I love the concept of it. Like, all the people working on the game, it's like, yeah, this is. This is kind of what I would want from a Perfect Dark. Then seeing the gameplay of it and flash forward to now, it's like, all.
A
Right, yeah, yeah, the gameplay, like, the gameplay gave me faith in the sense that I like the direction of it. Even though the gameplay didn't look. The gameplay looks so directed. Slash. Like, I know it's a vertical slice and so of course it's gonna look directed. But something. Something about this didn't strike me as, like, real. Like, I kind of want to, like, I felt like if you walk two inches to the left, you just fucking, you know, fall through and you see a grid, like, Like Unreal Engine shit. But I don't know. I like an immersive sim. I like a Deus ex type game. You know what I mean? So, like, if you give me a game that looks like it lets me choose my own path, hack into things, like, Cyberpunk is another one that I love, right. And this gave me hints of that type of gameplay, so I was all in for that. The thing that jumps out at me here is the seasonal stuff, which I find it hard to believe that they would have done, like, an episodic thing with this. Unless it is like an episodic DLC release. Like, you get the full game and then there's a season one of dlc. But even that strikes me as weird for this type of video game. I don't know. I'm very fascinated. Like, I. I guess if I had any requests, it would be for some kind of noclip slash, like, internal documentary of what happened here, slash. What was this gonna be and where did it go wrong? But outside of that, yeah, like I read through this and I'm like, oh, interesting. That doesn't give me faith. Like, yeah, this starts to become more clear of maybe why this, this, this could have got canceled here. Story number four Video Games Europe and the EGDF launch Pixels to Policy Campaign this is Vic Hood at GamesIndustry Biz. Video games Europe and the European Games Developer Federation have launched the Pixels to Policy campaign, which aims to explain the industry to people who aren't familiar with video Games. Announced on September 22, Video Games Europe and the EGDF, which both represent the European video games industry, describe the campaign as a comprehensive showcase of the economy, the jobs and the games, and the vast consumer choices provided by Europe's creative and digital trailblazing video game sector. The Pixels to Policy campaign hopes to explain the industry to those who are unfamiliar with video games, with a particular emphasis on ensuring Europe's policymakers are well informed about the industry. The campaign's website, which is formatted like a pixelated video game, offers four levels, each offering information, stats, video explainers and more on a specific aspect of the industry. Level one tackles the industry and the players and the economy. Level 2 focuses on best in class, minor protection and parental guidance Level three explains Europe's video games landscape and level four covers player choices and in game activities. It can be difficult to explain the multifaceted nature of video games in the sector as a whole, especially to people who may not have picked up a pad or turned on a PC or console to experience the many joys and benefits of video game play, said Video Games Europe's CEO Simon Little. Quote we hope that this campaign will enlighten, inform and inspire, end quote quote Game development is extremely exciting and complex and we are excited to share how we work and how we deliver the varied, high quality creative content to millions of players around the world, added EGDF Managing Director Jari Peka Kaleva.
B
Cool. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's I don't know how helpful this is actually going to be, but it's better than nothing because we, we need these people to be educated on this because they're the ones making the decisions that affect so much of the normally negative but potentially positive changes that we need to see for video games to continue to thrive. So that's cool.
A
Yeah, I like seeing this coming off of the story last week of video game executives being called to talk to Congress about the industry coming off of the Charlie Kirk stuff, right. I get so worried when I think about the executives and the people that we have within video games, a lot of them adults, a lot of them not adults. You know what I mean? A lot of them I look at and I'm like, you know, respect to Gabe Newell. I think Gabe Newell is actually like, yes, some cool shit going on. But also I'm like, do I want him to talk to Congress about what the video games industry needs? Does he show up though? You know, does he. I think he has to show up. I don't, I don't know if he has to show up. I mean, I, I would assume so. I don't know. I guess what happens? Not showing up, but either way, right? Like, I, we need the most competent people possible talking to people in power about what this stuff entails. Because I see the clips of people talking to Congress where. No. Oh, okay. Greg just entered the scene with Pac Man World Ramen. Pac Man World repack two packages.
B
What perfect timing.
A
Oh, cool. We're just talking about Congress, Greg. Oh. Oh, yeah, it is Ramen.
C
Nice.
A
I think I just figured out my lunch.
B
Cool. Oh, and the game.
A
And the game. Yeah.
B
Hell yeah.
C
Oh, also, Chad confirms that it's an invitation, not a subpoena. Oh, so he doesn't have to show up.
A
Okay, he doesn't have to show up, but I would hope he does. I would hope. I would hope the. Right.
B
He is the only person talking shit about my boy Gabe here. I don't know. Bless.
C
But also, he's the only CEO or whatever that's actually from a video game company.
A
Right.
C
But it's twists and, but those aren't like, those are video game adjacent, but those aren't inherently video games.
A
Right.
C
That's more about online communities and them trying to get to the bottom of, you know, where, where is all of this, you know, toxic kind of aggression coming from on the Internet? Should we call the head of X?
A
No. Okay. Yeah. You know, but I think even beyond that, right, Because I, you're right that I, I think the scenario of the. Those execs talking to Congress is a little bit separate from what's going on here. But there will be a future. And like, we've seen it before and I think we'll continue to see it where actual video game people are going to need to testify and talk about video games to people in government who don't know shit, who like really don't understand how any of this works. And they will make assumptions and they'll like, use bad faith arguments against this shit. You need people to speak authentically and with like clear information of, hey, this is how this works. That way we don't have bad policies being passed down into video games. That makes shit makes shit worse for everybody here.
B
Yeah.
A
So that's why I really like this story. Number five, this is going to be required reading for you. This is a longer article written by Rebecca Valentine at IGN. Nintendo Customer support concern following outsourcing decision ahead of Switch 2's first holiday season I got the first few paragraphs here from Rebecca Valentine about this. Nintendo of America has made the decision to outsource its its customer support services, resulting in hundreds of contractors losing their jobs amid concerns Nintendo's customer support will suffer as the Nintendo Switch 2 enters its first holiday season. IGN has spoken to multiple sources impacted by the decision who spoke to us on condition of anonymity due to fear of reprisal. All of them painted a picture of a formally rigorous structure for training and maintaining customer service. Customer support. I don't know why the word customer is beating my ass today. Customer support services in the US that was suffering significantly due to language barriers, poor communication and Nintendo's overall decision making on how to handle the transition from US based support to outsourced support from South America. The article then goes on to detail estimates of up to 200 workers being impacted, worries about the job environment they're being sent into, and a refute from Nintendo. Again, Rebecca Valentine does the good work. She's an incredible, incredible journalist at ign. Go read the full article if you want all the information about that. But Tim, that's big.
B
It is.
A
That's big, big news.
B
It is.
A
But if I wanted something smaller, say the tiniest news I need to know about, where would I go?
B
You go to our last story, the WE News channel where we cover all the small news items that you need to know about.
A
It's the easiest way to cook this. This is like, can I just pour water in this and then put in the microwave? What's the situation here?
B
Yeah, yeah, that's how you make these, Dick.
A
Usually I get. You could also heat up the water because I get the official rami. You know where I got to boil the water in a pot.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, I'm not out here just making steak ramen, but shout out to Pacman, I guess. Thanks Pacman.
B
Infamously, my best friend Kin. At one of our first sleepovers at my house in like seventh grade, we were making ramen and he took it and he put it in the microwave and he turned the microwave on. He didn't put water in it. Oh, My God, my microwave exploded. Exploded. So, you know, it's incredible.
A
Yeah, that's good stuff. We news for you. Story number six from VGC boss Rush FPS Unyielder is coming to PC next week courtesy of manga publisher Shueisha's video game arm, Shueisha Games. Developed by Singapore based True World Studios, Unyielder is a roguelite first person shooter which has the player taking on a series of 1v1 boss battles in a post apocalyptic wasteland.
B
Like dark, kind of cool art style.
A
Yeah, yeah. And I kind of want to see more of the gameplay. 40 plus bosses. What the trailer says.
B
That was different than I expected.
A
Yeah, it's a straight up first person shooter. It kind of reminds me of the game that Andy was super into. Oh, chat. You're gonna know the one. It's like, I think it's called Rogue Something. And I feel like one of y'.
C
All played this at an event. It might have been Andy who played because I remember us showing gameplay of this.
A
Oh, really?
C
From an event?
A
Yeah.
C
Oh, then this looks familiar.
A
RoboQuest is the game I'm thinking of, but maybe Andy played it. Either way, it looks cool. Skate has reported having 2 million players on its first day, which includes Cameron Kennedy, who's having fun with it. Daft Punk have joined up with Fortnite to bring you the Daft Punk experience, which kicks off in game on September 27th at 11am Pacific Time. Barrett, was it you that added the captain? Cameron Kennedy Park.
C
I saw your interaction on Blue Sky.
A
Thank you so much for adding that because I meant to add it and I forgot. Got it.
B
That's so funny. Fortnite might be one of the like, biggest bait and switch troll jobs of all time. The amount of times like something is being teased and announced, everyone's like, oh my God. And then it's like, oh, it's. They're coming to Fortnite. It's like Daft Punk. There was like a moment where people like, are they back, baby? And I know you don't care cuz you're uncultured, but I'm like, holy. And it's like, oh, no, there's coming to Fortnite. Like my life.
A
That's how it is. That's how it was when Smash was. Was doing its thing. You know what I mean? Like, we'll get a Persona trailer. And then it turned into Smash thing. But I love Smash and so every time I'm like, yeah, yeah. But also it's like, what's the. Yeah, Fortnite is like. Is the bad version of that happening? Zelda 2 the Adventures of Link OST is up on Nintendo Music. And then finally, hey, that one soundtrack.
B
Best things about one of the least good Zelda games. I'm not even gonna say bad.
A
I don't. I don't think it's bad.
C
And I think it was. Again, Zelda in review part one. You can watch from five years ago. I talk about how I think Zelda 2 was important for Zelda making its transition into 3D gameplay.
B
But the soundtrack for Zelda 2, amazing. It's helpful theme that you know from Smash bro.
A
Oh, yes.
B
That comes from Zelda 2.
A
Yes.
B
The battle theme in that game does not get used enough. I don't know why it never came back. It's so good. I digress.
A
Yeah. When I. When I played Zelda 2, it was after I played Smash Brawl. And so once I heard that theme, I was like, yo, what the fuck? Like one of the goated themes is from this game. That's crazy. And then finally, yeah. Arc Raiders Server Slam Open tests is set for October 17th through the 19th. That's it for Wii News. And while we're here shouting out Pac man re Pac Man World Repack two for this package. Also want to shout out insert coin for sending me this jacket.
B
Hell yeah.
A
I got a Doom Slayer jacket on. Of course. I with Doom Heavy and shout out to insert coin for. Yeah, just sending this to the office.
B
Very cool shots. Insert coin in general, if you like nerd outfits, check out insertcoin.
A
Co you like nerd outfits? Yes, but nerd outfits that look good.
B
Yeah.
A
Let's hop into some more super chats for you before we get out of here. Matt Rollo says D Snider talked to Congress and rocked it.
B
Hell yeah.

Love to hear that. Ultra Hyper JDub says when is the next time Blessing and Gary Widow will be on a show together? It's my favorite combo. No disrespect to all other combos. I like them all, but those two are my favorite. Thank you so much. I. I like the the Greg and Gary combo. I. I appreciate people like me and me and Gary. But there's something special for me. Listen as a listener listening to Greg and Gary. Greg and Gary.
C
Yep.
B
Greg to like with Gary. I don't think any of us are willing to with Gary the same way.
A
I think my thing is like I at. At the beginning of an episode, I start off kind of scared of Gary.
B
Exactly.
A
And then I quickly ease in and I'm like I fuck with this guy. Yeah, Gary, what is great, I fuck.
B
With him so hard but it is one of those things where it's just like he, he has that type of presence where his vibe of the day leads the conversation.
A
Yes.
B
You just got to kind of go with the flow there. And Greg's the only person willing to be like fuck you. And it's like, you know what, for better or worse, I don't know. But that's the truth.
A
Future Bot says, how should we hit you up for an ATL meetup? Blue Sky DMS if you don't have Blue Sky Insta DM. So Insta is weird about organizing my DMs where sometimes you make it into my hidden messages and then sometimes you're in my hidden, hidden messages. There's like two layers of hell in my DMs on Insta and so I don't know, just do your best, do your best. I don't know. I don't have an official answer. I would say email me but like my emails get backed up. I don't know. There's a lot of press releases in there. And then Napoleon blown apart says, hope everyone has a good week.
B
Thank you.
A
Thank you. That's a great name. Terry Huffman says, so what would be the new price of the next gen?
B
I mean it's way too early to say but like I, I think it's equally likely that next gen consoles are six hundred and one thousand dollars. Like I, I really just feel like that's just where we're, we're at with all of this. They'll be able to justify it however they want. Will it work for them? We'll have to wait and see. But I think that so much is going to happen in the next couple of years. By the time we get to these things launching obviously they want them to come in cheaper so that they can actually sell them so that they can then sell software. But I very much see more than ever the next generation feeling like a cross generation thing which we've already seen now I think two generations in a row but it's only getting progressively more and more. I do think by the time the PS6 comes out it being $1000 would not surprise me whatsoever.
A
God.
B
But still supporting the PS5, you know.
A
Oh yeah.
B
Just being like, hey if you want all the, the gig arrays or whatever they have next time, I don't know the new feature.
A
Yeah, I feel like Xbox is going to be skewed up. There's going to be, there's going to be there's going to be hella skews. I think that's how I see it. Right? Like I'm surprised. I guess not surprised because there's been reports about it and stuff, but the streaming box that we always talk about on the Xbox side never actually came out as an official sku, at least not yet. But I feel like for the next gen of Xbox, when we're talking about $601,000 if you can have a streaming box that comes out at $100, I think that's the move to go to, especially as you're making a transition to more PC based stuff. Yeah, that is it for super chats. Let's hop into kind of funny.com you're wrong. Rewrite in, let us know what we got wrong as we got it wrong so we can correct it. For those watching later on YouTube and listening later on podcast services around the globe, we only have one here from Eric who writes in and says while not entirely wrong, here's More insight into MTG's outlook on Spider Man. The community is largely divided on MTG's production generally, and the Spider man set arrives as a perfect culmination of that. Few people dislike the crossovers entirely, and few crossover fans stick around, but a lot of people are in the middle. Spider man in particular doesn't have many quote good cards, which upsets some of those people. It also follows a set that is not a crossover and lacks compelling flavor, colloquially known as a hats set, which upsets even more fans. While the reasons are different, the general consensus is that Hasbro and Wizards of the coast by extension or only cares about sales and not about the game. There you go, some context for you there. That's it for you're wrong. And that's it for this episode of Kind of Funny Games Daily. Tim (12:18):
“This is rough. Like, it sucks. We know why this is happening and that reason sucks ... These numbers are insane. Prohibitively expensive for a console that already wasn't selling ... Who in their right minds in 2025 is buying an Xbox Series X for $600?”
Blessing (14:37):
“For me that's the line. ... Seeing that at $400? No, absolutely not.”
Tim (23:41):
“This is really, really great that we are seeing a new entry in a Konami franchise review well ... This was not a foregone conclusion ... Now that we're on the other side, it's like, hey, they kind of did the damn thing.”
Blessing (25:15):
“This makes me so happy for Silent Hill fans... seeing that Silent Hill is back makes me want to jump on that train.”
