Greg Miller
What's up, everybody? Welcome to the kind of Funny Games cast for Thursday, December 4, 2025. I'm one of your hosts, Greg Miller alongside Forbes 30 under 30, aka New York Game Awards nominated aka the Jokester Blessing Junior. I don't know if you saw it. He put on a clinic today on Games Daily for jokes.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I like when he called you out. He was like, we got to get somebody better than Greg to talk to Hideo Kima and I recommended to you. I was like, thank you. I know I'm down to talk. I'm down to talk to him.
Mike
Come on.
Greg Miller
Didn't. Didn't you absolutely say absolutely not, Mike? That's exactly what you said.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
He gave me a shout out.
Greg Miller
Of course. He's the master of hype. Snowbike Mike.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
What is up, my guy? Greg Miller. It's great to see you. You know what? It's a special day because we're all together.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
And we're gonna celebrate December and December means winter. And over across the street, I saw my buddy Charlie and he was hanging out and I was like, you know what?
Andy
Wow.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
They got the Red Bull winter edition. The brand new winter, the limited one and ginger.
Greg Miller
Why does it look like it was rolled down the street? Why?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
You know I'm banging sometimes and I
Greg Miller
thought why are you buying Red Bull? They keep sending us Red Bulls.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
So excited to share this with my best friend Andy. So I thought you and I would do a live taste test right now.
Greg Miller
Oh, that's the Hispanic heart throb Texas street Latino. He clicking heads and ripping shreds.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Globetrot and head shot. We can do this right now. Be great.
Andy
Well, I. Okay. Well what? Okay.
Mike
I don't know why I thought I
Andy
can't drink until 1. I can't do the calories. I can the fasting stuff until 1. I'll take it.
Greg Miller
My bless. Jumping on the grenade.
Andy
Your new best friend kill you.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I buy this for you and I kill you.
Mike
That's a threat.
Andy
I'll kill you.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Did we just talk about with this?
Mike
You can't say this.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Stop doing this. I have until one.
Andy
You know the rules.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I come into you And I at 11 o' clock is the new rule. 11 o'.
Greg Miller
Clock.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
No, it's not. You can't.
Andy
We went out to eat yesterday and talking about happen the what's up?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Sorry.
Mike
Can you unplug and replug your mic?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I'm sorry.
Mike
It just keeps going out, which is a different problem than we had last time.
Andy
And we're talking about what we're doing for the rest of the night. And Mike says, oh, yeah, were you.
Greg Miller
How late were you to this dinner with Chris Sanke?
Andy
Okay, I was in the middle of a night rain run. Okay. It was. I didn't know we were gonna. I didn't know me and Melissa with a wire were gonna keep dominating in night rain.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Andy
We just kept on going, kept on beating bosses about that. Okay. Yeah. Oh, but yeah, somebody.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Really without me?
Andy
Somebody. Oh, yeah, you weren't happy about that. But then he goes, oh, yeah, well, Kevin, a sex is going to come over and install the sound bar. And he goes, I am. So we laugh about that.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
And we're like, why can't you just
Andy
be normal and ask somebody? Anyway, an hour later, I'm home already. I get a text message with a photo of Kevin, a sex insolence on our. He goes, got him.
Greg Miller
You mean you got him. He's your friend.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I told you I got him.
Andy
God damn it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh, my God. What a fantastic dinner. I had ice cream too, Greg. It was.
Greg Miller
Oh, my God. Where'd you guys go?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Where do we go? Spices, My favorite restaurant. Spices. I love spices.
Mike
You didn't take him to House of Prime Rib?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I offered it, but he wanted Chinese food.
Andy
That's like the spot that, like, we go whenever Chris is. Is here.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Andy
And then, you know, I'm like, I'm like a 10 minute walk, 15 minute walk away, right? And we keep on walking. We keep on walking, and we keep on walking. We're getting closer and closer to my place, and there's just a lot of threats of like, andy, we're going to go. We go into your place. Like, the dog will go crazy. No. Okay, you tell Bear to text him right now. Tell. Tell him to take her on a walk for 20 minutes. We go in there, we surprise everybody. We. We hit the stream live. Suddenly, that's pretty cool.
Greg Miller
That's pretty cool.
Andy
And he. And he just keeps on doing. I'm like, no. And he goes, andy, the next time we're here, we're going in there. And it's such a threat. Like, we're going in that goddamn room in there.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Greg. It's just then blessed really quick, let Red Bull Winter Edition, since he won't do it with me before we go
Greg Miller
live, Mike's like, you know, we got a big day of content here.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Let you know that big dog. Tell me what you think.
Greg Miller
All right. They're tasting, they're doing it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh, that's a nice apple touch to that.
Mike
I like that actually.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, that's a nice one.
Mike
Fuji apple and ginger.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Little hint of ginger. Little.
Andy
Ah, okay.
Greg Miller
Settle your tummy.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Mainly a nice sitting setting of apple.
Mike
It tastes like apple cider.
Andy
So you get that, that winter feel.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, it does feel like early winter right there.
Andy
Yeah, I know.
Mike
I love that.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I love this.
Andy
Beautiful.
Greg Miller

Blessing (Mike Bless)
He's already a San Francisco Giant hall of Famer. I think he will go to the hall of Fame for the mp.
Andy
I think there's a really good chance.
Greg Miller
Hunter Pence joins us to teach the boys dark and darker. I impressed Andy earlier today with my baseball knowledge, but that's a story for another time. If you're a kind of funny member, today's Greg Way is me having a panic attack live. Thank you to our Patreon producers Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster and Delaney the Psalm Twining. For now, let's begin with what is and forever will be topic of the show. It is December 4th. We like the beginning of Every month to go through every video game coming out for the month we're going into. We usually try to do it on that first or before the month ends, but there's been so many reviews, we're here on the 4th to get into it and stuff like that. Because you might think it's a quiet month. It's not a quiet month. There's a lot of things happening if you didn't know, Andy.
Andy
I mean, I'll be honest with you. When I was making this thumbnail last night, I was like, pretty quiet month. Not a whole lot going on.
Greg Miller
What are you talking about? Some of this stuff's already out, but I want to cover it for the full picture of the one, the only December. So we'll start, of course, with Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Worth pointing out our list comes from the one, the only, Game Informer. Game Informer.com2025. When you want to keep up with everything. Of course. Cosmic Invasion is out on everything. It came out December 1st. A cosmic battle. Awaken. Choose between 15 Marvel superheroes in this frentic. Nope.
Mike
Frenetic.
Greg Miller
Frenetic. Thank you. Action. Beat him up. To fight against the deadly. No, I know the word. I just fucked it up. Definition check on this annihilation wave threatening the galaxy from New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone. The future of the Marvel Universe will be fought for, fought for across the stars.
Mike
Andy, you're missing out. This is so good. This is Red Bull.
Andy
We have Tempt the boy.
Greg Miller
Don't tempt the Boy.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Start changing your timing. I'm uptight about this.
Andy
I'll kill you.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
He said.
Andy
Unbelievable.
Greg Miller
Listen, we all had our violence training. We know that was a joke. We don't got to report that to anybody. You know, I got to report that to anybody.
Mike
It took two weeks.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I'll be getting an email.
Mike
That's exactly what they said.
Greg Miller
Not to say the Marvel Cosmic Invasion review has already gone up, of course, on Gamescast. I gave it a 7. Tim gave it a 7.5. Where are we as a panel? With excitement, desire to play. This mike kick me off.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, I'm actually excited for this. This will be a one and done for me.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I'm gonna play through this campaign. Maybe with Kevin ASX and the boys, or maybe.
Greg Miller
Oh, it's a reward for putting in the soundboard.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah. Thank you for the soundboard.
Andy
He did subscribe, by the way, a little while ago. Kevin ASX for 105 months. Thank you for your support. And then left a message that that was A one man job. He could have done it, do it together.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
But I'm super excited for this game, Greg. We already got to stream a little part of it earlier this week altogether, so that was a lot of fun. But for my own stuff, I'm gonna play through this. I, I like a good Streets of Rage. I like Ninja Turtles and so yeah, for me, with all of the characters from the Marvel universe, what we played already, it's beautiful, it's fun. I'm excited for it. It will be a. Let's smash this campaign. I'm good.
Andy
Who's gonna be your main.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Who's my main Iceman with them cheeks and then a follow up, Silver Surfer.
Greg Miller
Iceman is not even in the game.
Andy
Yeah, they're both icy. Yeah, it's cold in space, you know.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
And then Jean Gray. That'll be great.
Greg Miller
Is quite awesome. And one of my favorites in there. Bless Andy. Anything for you.
Andy
I just don't really think I have a whole lot of time.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
And I, I enjoyed what I played. I feel like I would enjoy it a lot more without the four player chaos. I think it was like a little too much. I think maybe two players is possibly the sweet spot. But I, I mean it's just. There's just so much going on.
Greg Miller
There is a lot going on.
Andy
These are really just Elden Ring.
Mike
These aren't single player games for me, you know, I mean these are games that I had to have somebody with me playing locally.
Greg Miller
So does that speak to you when you think of like going up and spending time with like your nephews?
Mike
See, yes, but I don't have that planned. Yeah, I just got back from Thanksgiving, hanging out with them. They only give me once a year.
Greg Miller
They pay me enough to come up there.
Andy
They got me once.
Mike
And so yeah, if it was a Christmas thing for sure, this would be a really fun one to bust out actually.
Greg Miller
Yeah. Yeah.
Mike
I don't have as much fun playing Beat Em Ups by myself, sadly.
Greg Miller
Understandably. As I said seven, I had a great. I had a good time with it. Me and Ben really enjoyed playing it. But yeah, I was a one and done. Mike. Finish the, finish the story and I'm like, cool, there's not enough here. I'm hopeful for DLC characters, DLC stages, something like that. And I could also see it being in the same way when Ben has his friends in the neighborhood over. They've been jumping into Ultimate Alliance. I could see this being way more approachable for them to jump in. Oh yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That is a special moment.
Andy
Oh, wow.
Greg Miller
None of the other kids, the other kids next door, they know how to play video games. You know, they know what they're doing. They can play Mario Kart. They can't play Ultimate Alliance.
Andy
Oh, I was wondering if they were one of those, like, our child doesn't watch television. Our child doesn't eat McDonald's.
Greg Miller
I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of those kids and I will chill out. Change them all.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
We'll change that.
Greg Miller
December 2 also saw the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows on Switch 2. Did anyone hear any? Have there been reviews of this? Does it run well on Switch 2?
Andy
I was hearing very positive things from the most recent Digital Foundry podcast, talking about, like, visual quality and just how good Ubisoft has been on the tech side of things. So it seems like, like, wow, they were able to actually pull off this kind of visual titan to, you know, run really, really well and look good on Switch 2. I think it's like, I'm not saying like 60 frames, but it's similar to the Cyberpunk situation.
Greg Miller
Yeah, JG down there says 30 frames, but it looks solid.
Andy
Yeah, Cyberpunk as well. Six or 30 frames for Cyberpunk, I think on certain modes maybe, but has a really good image quality.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Okay, I know we're gonna talk about it on another podcast, but, like, when we look back on the year, should I jump into Assassin's Creed shadows if I have a little bit of time? It's one that like, it came, I did the opening and then I. I never went back to it. It's like, I love Assassin's Creed, but, like, should I. Should I give this one some time?
Andy
I think that's your Yote. Like, I do think.
Greg Miller
Oh, you haven't played Yote. Play Yote, dude. Come on.
Mike
Yeah, I'm gonna be like a little bit of time kind of game also.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, I mean, I know both are gonna be big, but like, yeah, it's like, so jump in the shadows.
Mike
So I love this chat from Swaggerillo who says our child doesn't consume calories before 1pm
Greg Miller
he hung you out. I don't know if you saw this because it hasn't made any headlines, but on December 2nd, a game called Horses came out.
Andy
Ah.
Greg Miller
Welcome to the farm where the sun is hot, the grass is green, and the horses are waiting for you. But as the sun sets, the shadows creep across the land, the tranquility fades, and this farm's facade begins to crumble in this enigmatic first person adventure you'll take on the role of a summer worker taking a break from his college studies. You will be responsible for taking care of the farm and its animals for a fortnight. Each day you explore the farm, you encounter many surprises peeling back the layers of this farm's unsettling mysteries. Guided by the cryptic rules of a mysterious farmer, you'll decide whether to tread the safe path or allow curiosity to lead you into the farm's hidden depths. Choose wisely, for some truths are far more terrifying than the lies we cling to. Of course, I say no one's heard of this. This is the game that is banned currently from Epic Games Store and from Steam. It was banned for a second from Humble Bundle, but then reinstated on Humble. I have finished it. Round of applause.
Andy
Wow.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Wow.
Greg Miller
When somebody says, when did you play it? Yesterday. I played at my desk yesterday.
Andy
Oh, nice.
Greg Miller
Only Nick walked by and he said, what the fuck are you playing?
Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Hell yeah.
Mike
This game has everything in it. Sex, nudity, murder, more sex, mystery, a lot more nudity, consensual sex.
Greg Miller
Yeah, it's, I think, over. Well, well, well, overblown on what's going on here. If you haven't followed it, it would seem, and I'm gonna. Not spoilers for the game. Well, I mean, if you're watching the trailer at this point, you probably know a little bit about it. If you don't, the. The hook here is that, yeah, you go, it's a horror game. You start working on this guy's farm for two weeks and his horses are people who have horse masks on their head that are chained around their neck and they're naked from the neck down, then, I guess totally naked, but, you know, they have a horse mask on. And so, yeah, you go through and kind of uncover what the fuck is going on here and what's going to happen with it. The banning seems to be. It seems to be the money on the ban comes from an earlier build that was submitted to Steam where there's a section of the game that I've played but is not. They've changed it since the ban, where a grown woman and her father show up and they want to buy a horse and so you have to give them a pony ride, basically. And so the grown woman gets on the horse and you walk around, she talks to you and she basically kind of threatens you or whatever. But it's like the whole thing's supposed to be on something weird, I guess. In the initial draft submitted, it was a child that came and with her father and then got. There was nothing sexual about the scene, except that obviously the horse person was naked. But so that seems to be what triggered scene back in the day to which when we got here they just denied it. Which then had a chilling effect where Epic Games were like, well, we're going to deny it too. And it's been kind of chaos. Has it? But as somebody who's. It's a two hour long experience. Five bucks. I bought it on Humble Bundle or on the Humble Game Store as you are watching right now. It's goofy. Like, it's like look at, look at the way they move and look and they're animated and stuff. It isn't. You wouldn't know it by just going through this. Right.
Andy
It looks like an Adult Swim. Like a little bumper ads in between shows.
Greg Miller
Exactly. It's black and white. It's four by three. It's also. This is gonna sound weird, but it's silent for the most part. There is a music track, there are a few sound effects, but when someone talks to you, it's their goofy face in the frame. And then you go to like Italian words on the screen with a caption underneath. So it's kind of like a black and white Italian film. Horror film or whatever. It's got a vibe to. It's got a thing to it. I want to give a full review on Greg Way tomorrow probably. But like it's not. There's way worse stuff I've seen on Steam when I was making fun of Steam players before I became one. You know, of course where I'd go and I look for the erotic things and here's the Hitler here, let's fuck Hitler game. Yeah, I mean, whatever. But it's out there right now. It'll be interesting to see as it continues to evolve. Obviously this has gotten a lot of attention in the media and you've seen the developer come out and say like, hey, if we. We can't get back on these stores, we're probably going to fold as a studio. So is anybody else going to play horses?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I know, I'm the horror game guy about it.
Mike
Like hearing you talk about it.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Mike
Makes it sound cool. And like, yeah, it was interesting trying to read into okay, what the is going on about this game. Because it feels like there's been a lot of loud noise and not a lot of people just being like, this is what it is. It looks weird. I like it. I like how weird. And this looks.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Giving me mouthwashing vibes from last year. Like that weird kind of out of the blue game that Comes and makes a splash. Yeah. And I gave that one a try. So maybe I watched Alana's video yesterday. It's like, okay, I'm intrigued. And then you saying two hours. I'm like, okay, I might be able to fit that in.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Andy, you like horses?
Andy
I mean there's nothing better than like having a starter. Mike, who's going to go out there and get you seven to eight, good innings, pitch, you know, like we love having a horse out there. Going to go, you know, you know, pitch for our squad. Hunter Pence is coming by later. Greg, did you play mouthwash or baseball?
Greg Miller
I never did. I got it.
Andy
I own it.
Greg Miller
I never actually did it like mouthwash. I bet I would. No, everything, it was just how heck that was?
Andy
Was that last year?
Mike
Was.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That was end of last year.
Greg Miller
Right.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Right at the buck type 5.
Mike
Because every second I was like, do I need to put it in my game of the year? Like thoughts Because I played that game. I love that game.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
But I guess want to keep it in your back pocket because it was very end of the year.
Mike
Wow.
Greg Miller
Let's talk about Kingdom of Night. This came out December 2nd as well. Hunt down nightmarish demons and save the town of Miami, Arizona in this 80s themed isometric action RPG with an expansive interconnected map and open ended quests. Expl really While unraveling the main story. Kingdom of Night is a unique blend of coming of age drama, cosmic horror and true love. I had not heard about this until I just read it and that sounds very up my alley. That sounds cool.
Andy
This sounds totally your shit.
Greg Miller
This sounds very much my shit. And as we watch it right now.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh,
Andy
very adventure game looking.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wonder how it feels and plays. But yeah. Oh, okay.
Andy
We're seeing combat, we're seeing some points.
Greg Miller
Oh, and then you party. Oh, there's a Terror Dog from Ghostbusters. That's copyrighted phrase, but I'll take it.
Andy
What it looked like.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what you just sold me? All right.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
More impressive than I thought it would be.
Mike
What's the name of again?
Greg Miller
Kingdom of Night. Kingdom.
Mike
Kingdom of Night. Night spelled like nighttime, not like night. Who rides on a horse. That's the previous game that we talked about.
Greg Miller
20 bucks on Steam right now. Friends of safety are the developers and I like that quite a bit. I'm gonna. I'm in on that one. Cool. All right, great. Then a little game no one's heard of. Red Dead Redemption. Of course, Red Dead Redemptions. Been out your entire Life. Many of you listeners. But PlayStation 5, Xbox Series switch to iOS and Android December 2nd as well. Experience the story of former outlaw John Marston as he tracks down the last remaining members of the notorious Van Darlin gang. Who is in charge of that gang, Andy?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That would be Dutch.
Andy
You learn that I'm John Marston.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Andy
You're not gonna find me John.
Greg Miller
Red Dead Redemption still happening. Good job. All right, cool. Is anybody going back for this? Have we all had our fill of the original Red Dead?
Mike
Yeah, I've had my fill.
Andy
It's something I'd like to just hop into just for the nostalgia sake of it.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
You know I loved it when I played it back. Oh yeah.
Greg Miller
Oh my God. Red Dead was so much fun. Yeah.
Andy
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Undead Nightmare.
Andy
I played it in 2015 and never played it again.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
So like I would love to just see what's up.
Greg Miller
Okay. Well.
Andy
Or whenever it came out when it. No, did it come out in 2015?
Mike
2013, Red Dead 1 or Red Dead Redemption?
Greg Miller
Yeah, I was in Los Angeles with Damon Hatfield.
Andy
I was in my apartment. It was 2010.
Greg Miller
We went to a Best Buy, bought it. Cuz we. That was when IGN didn't. You didn't get games so you got reviewer would get a code. Maybe somebody or not a code, a copy.
Andy
I put myself in the wrong era of like living in Austin.
Greg Miller
Sure, sure, sure. All right, let's talk about Simogo Legacy Collection. This is Switch 2, Switch and PC December 2nd as well. From cute arcade novelties to innovative text based thrillers and acclaimed fourth wall breaking stories, Legacy Collection is an eclectic celebration of Simogo's past. Featuring faithful renditions of seven games released on mobile platforms between 2010 and 2015.
Andy
There's a big world out there.
Greg Miller
Can you believe that? Like this is definitely one of those alternate universes I got blinked into. The Samogo Legacy collection.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Mike
Okay.
Andy
To celebrate our past. Like what.
Greg Miller
What's your present history? Who the are you?
Mike
Those games look kind of nice.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That's somebody's rare good art style.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Mike
Those games look kind of cool.
Andy
Those are really good art style.
Mike
Is it? But it's releasing. I wonder, is this already out on mobile?
Greg Miller
Yeah, it sounds like it.
Mike
Okay.
Andy
I was gonna say.
Greg Miller
But individually now they're bundling them together to put them on Switch and PC.
Mike
One of them together. Put them on my phone because I'll play.
Greg Miller
Go into your phone right now to the App Store and put in some Mogo and find out how many other games they got. Sneak Bandit Year Walk. Oh. Device six. I remember that being a big deal.
Andy
Zotick in the Twitch chat says play year. Walk. My God.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
All right.
Andy
Still fuck out. My God.
Greg Miller
We'll see if anybody will play Let it die. Inferno PlayStation 5 and PC out on December 3rd. Hellgate tore open the earth deep within its chaotic depths where time and space warp lies. The eye of the Reaper, a treasure granting world ruling power. You are an immortal raider granting world ruling power. This is of course one that you had been interested in.
Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And then of course it turned out it was all AI garbage and everybody flipped out.
Mike
Yeah. I really like the original Let It Die that came out. Oh 20. It was like December of 2017. I want to say somebody check me on that. I feel like I might have nailed it and really dug it as kind of a very specific, obscure, free to play. If you know Suda 5.
Host - Sponsor Announcer
One games.
Greg Miller
Right.
Mike
Kind of has that attitude because it's a grasshopper manufacturer series souls like ish gameplay with a run based sort of thing going on to it.
Andy
In the video's death,
Mike
Mike is struggling
Blessing (Mike Bless)
to believe in everything none of it has.
Andy
Mike's typing his shit and it's just more videos. And he types in Let It Die. Launch day, more videos. Let it Die. Inferno. Launch day, more videos. I'm like, you're in the video Stab. You have to go to all
Mike
Good thing Death Metal Dan art. And Chad says, I've never heard someone say Suda5.1. I always used to say Suda51 but then I got corrected. Apparently it is Suda5. One is how you say it either. Yeah. But anyway, really like the original Let It Die. Me and Shuhei Yoshida were both fans. They then put out a Let It Die multiplayer arena game a few years ago that came out and went. Or came and went. Let It Die. Inferno is sort of the follow up to Let It Die. If you remember earlier in the year I played Lost Soul aside for about an hour and I talked about and people really upset. I played about five minutes of this and I didn't like it. Played five minutes. I was like, I'm good. I don't want to do this.
Andy
What do you experience any of the multiplayer aspects of it? Were you fighting other people?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
No. This isn't PvP. I was hoping it was at Arena Style 1.
Mike
I didn't get far enough to even care.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Mike
Like I got far enough to mess around with the controls in the tutorial and I was just like I just don't like how this feels or looks like nothing about this is doing it for me. And honestly, the biggest turn off already going in was the AI stuff.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Mike
And I was like, I don't. I already don't really want to play this game, mess around with it. And when I got better things to play, I don't really want to do this.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
It's sitting at 210 user reviews on Steam, all mostly negative right there. I will turn this on once. Similar to Bless.
Mike
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Just to see what the hell is going on. So I'll turn it on once.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Mike
It is really weird. Like, it is like if you're looking for some weird, it has all of it, but it has all that. But a lot of the weird, I'm like, is that AI weird or did a human put this together? Like, you'll see like a monster with, like mouths in weird places. And I'm like, this.
Andy
Once you taint the waters, you never know.
Mike
Yeah. It's like I just don't know what I'm looking at anymore. So there it is.
Greg Miller
Okay, good enough. From there, we move on to. This is actually just customer or not customer service. I guess customer service. I was gonna say public service. Lonely Mountain Snow Riders was supposed to come out on December 3. It has been delayed. I've gotten a press release about this now it is just soon. So. But they. They. That makes it sound like very, very soon. Like, I don't. I think you'll get it before the end of the year. But it's missing its date here.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
We're pushing for cert.
Andy
We're, you know.
Greg Miller
Yeah, yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Unfortunately. Yeah. This game is already out. You can play it on other platforms. It is a total five.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That's the follow up to of course, Lonely Mountain Downhill with the downhill mountain biking. But this time now you can add a bunch of friends into a lobby and all race together. Do cool tricks. But this is a lot of fun. This is a. A hidden gem right here.
Greg Miller
Oh, really? Hidden gem?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, this is a gem. Janet Garcia likes this game a lot as well.
Greg Miller
Okay, keep your eyes peeled, everybody.
Andy
For the ones, just hang out. Not friend slot, but like a Hang Hang slope.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
You are.
Andy
Oh, Hang Beasts.
Mike
Hang Beasts.
Greg Miller
No, this is better than Hang Beasts.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Better than Hang Beasts.
Greg Miller
Then one we made fun of a long, long, long ago. Popucom comes to switch December 3rd. Popucom is a multiplayer co op platform adventure game. As an adventurer, you are summoned to an unknown planet to embark on an exoplanet adventure. With your friends, you will face various enemies and use engaging items and techniques to eliminate threats. And restore the world to its former glory.
Andy
I bought this on Steam that day though. Did you in that direct.
Greg Miller
Did you play it?
Andy
No, I never hate to see it but it looks so like fascinating and like what a simple concept that could likely work really, really well. It just seems super sick for audio listeners. You have, you know, these different colored blobs and you have guns that shoot different types of colored ammo. And it has to like, like, you know, you have to kind of match up all the colors with each other in order to progress through the level in a very like almost it takes two type of way or. Or split fiction. But yeah, it just seems like kind of a. Like how has this not been done a whole lot before?
Mike
It takes split tune.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
It's almost like a. It reminds me of Death squared as well.
Greg Miller
Yeah. 100.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That kind of puzzle solving. It would be perfect for like a fun Friday stream.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
If we got four.
Andy
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Together just to. To play it for an hour or two.
Greg Miller
Put it on the list. Mike Bless always just screams into every show he's on.
Mike
You ever put dreams on the list?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
It's all that banjo kazooie. I thought.
Mike
Yeah, listen, I thought you put a banjo stream.
Greg Miller
I told you he wasn't watching the show. Yeah, calling for you on the show. I'm like, he ain't watching this. You're calling for something, Superman.
Mike
Don't you watch the show?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I have my phone on. Tim hates it, but I have my phone.
Greg Miller
Why did you come in when we called you then?
Mike
Yeah, you didn't come in. Right.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I might have been talking to Charlie
Greg Miller
about the Red Bull viewfinder. Comes to switch December 3rd. A mind bending first person adventure game. Challenge perception, redefine reality and shape the world around your instant camera. Of course when we did P.S. i love you Xoxo. This one had come to PlayStation. I played it there. You played it?
Mike
I played it.
Greg Miller
Well enjoyable but wasn't like worldwide but it was cool.
Mike
Like it's. If you're watching the trailer, it's exactly what it looks like, which is really, really cool. I think I wanted more from some of the puzzle solving and more from like what they're doing with the world and all that stuff.
Andy
But.
Mike
But it is worth checking out and
Greg Miller
worth playing now you can on Switch December. What's out now? Up next, blood refreshed supply, PlayStation 5, Xbox, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, you name it. December 4th. Today things are about to get bloody. Soak up 42 pulse pounding levels dripping with Lovecraftian atmosphere as you battle your Way through armies of sycophant cultists, zombies, gargoyles, hellhounds and other insatiable horrors in your quest to defeat the loathsome Trickten Bog. And it looks like doom.
Mike
Is this what we call Boomer shooters? Yeah, yeah, the Boomer shooter.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Where do you fall on the Boomer shooter, Andy? Because like I see this, I'm like, that's an Andy game. But then I'm also like, I don't think he plays Boomer shooter.
Andy
No, I don't, I don't really. And a lot of it is. I just, I don't necessarily love the 3D games with the 2D card billboard look of everything being like just a flat image. There's a lot of like 3D models it looks like in here. But I don't know, I just. It's never quite been my vibe. I played the old Dooms back in the day and I prefer more of. I guess when I think of something like Metal Hell Singer, which sure. It just feels like I'm getting a bit more like accuracy as opposed to just kind of like let me just spray this gun all over.
Mike
Did I see this game? This game has eight player split screen. They just said that in the trailer.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That's kind of.
Andy
You gotta have a big,
Blessing (Mike Bless)
you know
Greg Miller
these widescreen TVs now you split it in half once.
Mike
How wide is that screen?
Greg Miller
Forward up there. You're all set, you're all ready to go. You're going to have some fun time from there. We roll into Cloudheim early access on PC today as well. Ragnarok shattered the world and the gods have chosen you to reshape the next one. Cloud Heim is a one to four player action adventure that blends crafting with chaotic physics based combat. Awaken forgotten deities, drive back corruption and upgrade your shop in the sky to bring harmony to a broken realm. Realm. Michael.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I saw this today, Greg. I was actually on Steam looking around. I said, man, is this a Mike and Andy game. It sounds like little survival crafting type look with it. You know, there's been so many. I still want to go back to that sky one that we played, Lost in the Sky.
Andy
Oh, Lost Skies. Lost guys is awesome.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
But this one right here had kind of a vibe where I was like, oh man, we might have to give this a try.
Andy
Yeah. The production levels and just the way all of the combat looks like there's. There's kind of an easy giveaway of if the quality of a game and how much you're gonna enjoy it is like do the, do the, do the characters move in a nice way?
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
Or do they look kind of janky when they walk? You know, like, so far, everything I'm seeing here looks very, very high quality.
Mike
Reminds me of Spell Break a little bit.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
Dude, Bring back Spell Break as a single player rpg, dude. Oh, I can see that.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That would be a big rework. Yes.
Andy
This is the conversation I was talking about. If you, you have rich families, give the money to me.
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
And then I'll say I'll, I'm going to build a team and you're going to make a. Hey, the team who worked on. Because they laid off the whole team. They laid off everybody. Yeah, I'll tell. Hey, J.J. abrams, get in there. Whoever the. You know what I mean? Like, let's make a secret.
Mike
And he's describing series A funding.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
By the way, I love this.
Mike
It's so cool, man. If you have money, give it to me. Give it to me.
Andy
People together.
Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
We'll make a game.
Andy
I'm not going to tell. I'm not going to use it for a nefarious purpose.
Greg Miller
No, no, of course not.
Andy
I'm going to make games.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
We're going to make games.
Andy
Hey, you 13 people, here's, you know, here's all this money.
Greg Miller
How much money are you going to give them?
Andy
Yeah, I don't know, man.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
How much money?
Andy
I mean, they're going to have to crunch a lot.
Greg Miller

Greg Miller
Spring is here and there's a whole new way to chai at Starbucks that's
Blessing (Mike Bless)
made perfect for you.
Greg Miller
Choose your sweetness, dial it up or keep things light. Add a touch of pistachio, a hint of strawberry or vanilla, or make it a spring classic with lavender. Because this season there's endless ways to chai at Starbucks. And we are back everybody. Andy called out something interesting game Informers list doesn't include DLCs and updates. And that's why upcoming up for Pokemon. I had personally added it in because I was excited for it. And then you called out that of course since that me and Mike of course forgot to call out Skate season two. Big deal out there. But then of course Andy, you called out the Elden Ring Night Rain, the for Forsaken Hollows. Man, I always just felt asleep in
Andy
the middle of the.
Greg Miller
My mouth was like nope, we're not going to say it. Talk to me about this, Andy.
Andy
Forsaken Hollows came out today. Officially yesterday. It was like, you know, kind of this weird staggered worldwide release where it came out on PC at 3pm West coast, but 8pm on console west coast and like you know, the rest of the world kind of got it around the same time. But. But the Forsaken Hollows is the first DLC pack for the eldering Night Rain multiplayer game. It is 15 bucks you get two new Nightfarers which are awesome as hell so far that so far what we've played there is a brand new kind of shifting Earth which is kind of the. The way that they add variables to what the the environment is that you'll be fighting in. They added a bunch of new mini bosses while you are on your adventure and then they added two big ass bosses that are like the main ass ones that you're going after. So we see here in the trailer there's a. The Dancing lion from Shadow of the Erdtree which was not in the the prior version. And that's going to be in this. In this version now we see Artorias right there. We see all sorts of cool enemies that from Souls Games past and other Elden Ring enemies that are now popping in. And it's awesome so far. It's just got me hooked again. I just want to play. It's so good. I did have somebody in my YouTube comments go saying like wait, I thought Night Rangers DLC for Elden Ring is this DLC for the DLC? It's like. No, no, no. Night Range is a different video game. It's a multiplayer video game. It has nothing to do with a single player massive open world campaign. It's a roguelite multiplayer.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
It's one of my favorite moments, Greg. Because it's a new map as well.
Greg Miller
Yeah, right.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
And so you have that excitement of like learning something new, finding the strategy, finding your routes, getting completely lost. Right. There's that thrill factor when me and Andy and Bless jumped in yesterday of like we're in a. We're in the underground. It's a cave setting. I have no idea where we're going. I rely only on Andy to be the in game leader. And he's lost. I'm lost.
Andy
We jumped into so much fun. We jumped into so many holes.
Mike
Oh, yeah.
Andy
The amount of like, just like, I'm just trying to run. And you just like do a leap of faith. You're like, it's nothing below me here. I just fall into a chasm. Yeah. It's just. It's. I. It's such a big deal to me. Whenever, like I. The fact that there are some people out there that were like, oh, are you actually like, are you gonna play this? Are you gonna go back to it? It's like, dude, we're whenever from software is gonna hit you with new bosses. Like, that's an event. That's like, that's a really big deal. And so far, the first one that I fought last night with Melissa with a Y. Sorry, Mike.
Greg Miller
Gonna.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
We're without me.
Andy
Yeah.
Greg Miller
What happened there? Why did you dump Mike?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I mean, I. I'm not really happy about it. You know, Andy said, okay, everybody, we gotta turn off our streams and the night we gotta go out to dinner with Kasenka. And I proceed to turn off everything, run as fast as I can to dinner. And then I turn on Andy's still streaming, still gaming without me.
Andy
I thought I'd do one more run. And then we just kept on succeeding. We just kept on doing, well, 7, 20 and. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Greg Miller
Somebody's holding it back.
Andy
It was a good time, though. Like, I'm just so kind of. I'm so enamored of what's happening right now. The one thing that I want to tell Mike that was fascinating every and. And bless as well. When we hopped in, it was like this brand new map, right? It's like, what is this? This. This isn't just a portion of the map that has changed. This whole thing is completely different. What's going on here? And after four failed attempts, we then got the normal world again.
Mike
Oh, for the new boss.
Andy
Yeah.
Mike
Interesting.
Andy
For the new boss. So I'm not sure that's just a shifting.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I don't want that. Yeah. I only want to be in the new map.
Greg Miller
No wonder they dumped your ass.
Andy
Don't need you complaining. Okay, I. I need a wand. Okay, okay. Figure it out. Figure it out. But I don't know. I'm super pumped to just keep on playing. That's all I want to do.
Greg Miller
Hell yeah. Well, thank you, Andy, for making sure we said something about that. I appreciate that. I'm sorry that Game Informer here hates it so much that they left it off.
Mike
Releases.com not inform hot slash game slash daily.
Greg Miller
All right, I'll remember that one. Cult of the Lamb is coming to iOS today as well. Start your own cult, Land of false prophets. Venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland followers to spread the word. I loved this game back when I played it. It has had so many additions to it, I'm not sure what if they're all coming to iOS. I imagine they are, but this is a game that I enjoyed so much back then. Every time they drop one of these new things, I'm like, Mike, I. I should. Do I go back? Should I go back? But I have to reroll it. I'd have to start from scratch. My Cult saw to date. But I loved Cult of the Land.
Andy
I can still hear such a great soundtrack. The. The. It's kind of like the roguelite version of no Man's sky, where it's just like, wait, you look and you go, oh. They've put out seven DLCs or whatever. I think they're like at four or five, but it's like.
Greg Miller
Yeah, no, no, no.
Andy
It's been a surprising amount of content coming studio and so, like, I'm really impressed with their output, I guess.
Mike
Surprised by the amount of Cult of the Lamb fans I meet out in the wild.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Mike
Like, even I was just at a friendsgiving and I met like a couple people that I had never met before. Right. And they're a couple. And I was like, oh, you guys play any games? Like, not really. We play Cult of the Lamb, though. And I'm like, oh, really random.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, yeah.
Mike
Talk about that more and.
Andy
Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh, yeah.
Mike
You know, I do the combat, they do the world building or whatever.
Greg Miller
That's fun. That's cool. I like that. Yeah. More people be doing an iOS today, I guess. Of course, then the game that needs no introduction. Metroid Prime 4 Beyond out on Switch and Switch 2 today. Samus is back and just fucking shit up. What have any of. So did anybody start it yet here?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Well, he went to an event.
Andy
I played the event.
Greg Miller
Yeah, but I mean, like last night, I know a lot of people at like nine. Nine o' clock were on it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
And you're playing it today?
Greg Miller
I started today and I'm sure me
Blessing (Mike Bless)
and Blessed will find some time here. Yeah, I want to start playing.
Mike
It's probably my next priority. I've seen a lot of mixed things though though.
Andy
Yeah, I've seen a lot of like polarizing stuff, but enough to where I know that the, the positives will severely outweigh the negatives that I may feel about it. It's just based on everything that I've heard about how the game is doing discovery and investigation and just, and puzzle design and like those moment, those little light bulb moments you go, oh, that's what you like. That's what I love about like my current adventure right now with Metroid Prime Remastered. And so yeah, I feel like I'm going to really vibe with it.
Mike
Yeah, I think I right now have the buy in of somebody who just really, really enjoyed Metroid Prime Remastered and wants to have more of that experience. But like I feel like there are games that I'm, I, I'll play for Game of the Year and I'm like I want to see if I want to play this to if it's going to be on the list. And I based on what people are saying online, I'm like, I don't know if it's going to be a top five or I hope it is for me.
Greg Miller
But yeah, for me, not a Metroid person. The headlines as I said on the review, right. Calling it making so many comparisons Docarina of Time that gets me like oh okay, okay. So I'm excited to do this hour and see if it sticks and if it'll be my weekend as I build up to the Pokemon dlc which we'll talk about soon. But right now we're gonna move on to Octopath Traveler 0, also out today. I reviewed it yesterday. I gave it a 9 out of 10 and declared it is my game of the year right now. I hope everyone who is at all interested in a turn based RPG with a really fun story, character arc, bunch of goofy ass happening in there gets into it because I just adore this game. And Andy, I know you played 20 some hours of it. You were on the review as well. Mike Blessing, are you at all interested in Octopath Traveler 0? Just too big of a game. Yeah, yeah, I have too much happening. My the review Yesterday was at 70 hours and I still have more to go.
Mike
Yeah. I will say though, I forget what game we're playing. It was on Night Rain actually. We were playing the new area and music kicked in. That kind of gave me the feeling of like man, I feel like I'm playing an epic gr.
Greg Miller
Sure.
Mike
It kind of had that tone to it and so it gave me a little Bit of the appetite. But not right now.
Andy
The song during the new boss fighting Elder. Oh my God. It's like that they're going on.
Mike
Oh yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Greg. It's been an interesting journey with Octopath because I liked Octopath 1. I liked the demo so much that I did buy the game and jumped into a fair amount of it but never continued on. And then Octopath 2 came and I thought I would be into it and I never turned it on. I'm on a a big kind of turn based RPG kick right now. This is definitely in my pocket. You saying it's your game of the year, Andy Liking it as well. Like it's high on my list right here for sure.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
They have a lot of voice acting.
Greg Miller
Yes, they do voice acting.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh, that's a win for me that. I like that.
Mike
Yep.
Greg Miller
From there we move on to Power Wash Simulator. Also coming to iOS today, it's power Wash Simulator. You know, a game that I've not been shocked, I guess but yeah shocked probably over the years the way it has found a fan base and how many people are addicted to this. I remember when Gary Widow was obsessed with it. Now of course Joey's always been obsessed with it. Good on them for making it die. OS get into a brand new audience.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Power wash simulator 2. Best chill game of the year.
Andy
Damn. Wow.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Best chillax game to the year.
Andy
There are you. Are you plan like what's your history with Power Wash? Because I feel like that's maybe where your simulation fascination started.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
This might be the kickoff is right when you bring that up, Andy, that this might be the turn on to the moment of like I like all these simulator games. Yeah. I mean number two's got the co op factor with you and your friends now, which is the big push. They got some fun features to it but like nothing better than just hanging out with your friend, maybe turning on some one piece right in the background and just zoning out to this. There's a, a. I'm a 50. 50, you know me, I like to get things done. I like to keep it moving. And this is very more of like you got to chill. You got to get every nook and cranny. And I'm more like let's get this thing over with. Going on to the next. Yeah, that's a push and pull for me.
Greg Miller
An interesting one. Routine comes to Xbox and PC December 4th. That's today routine is a first person sci fi horror set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future explore and Investigate your surroundings as you survive against unknown threats. I forget. It might have been that partner showcase that this one dropped this trailer at. And I was intrigued enough to ask for a code. I have it. I just have not had the time with Octopath and everything else to jump in and give it a kid.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Is the VHS one that I thought, like, kind of outlasty vibes.
Andy
Yeah. Lots of VHS tech. This has all the, like, the super kind of like retro throwback sci fi stuff happening with it. But. But it's. It's. You know, I don't really fuck with scary games, but it looks. I just love the tech that they're using. I love the. The art direction and just the whole vibe of it seems totally up my alley.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Do we know where reviews went on this? I thought I saw a tweet that was like. There was like nines and then there was a bunch of sixes.
Mike
Yeah. I think it was like kind of
Blessing (Mike Bless)
mixed in the middle here.
Andy
Yeah. Sitting at a 78.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Okay.
Andy
On open Critic.
Greg Miller
Not bad for a horror game.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I'll put it as a hard maybe.
Greg Miller
Okay.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I like. I like playing a good horror game. For sure.
Greg Miller
From there today as well. Son Racing crossworlds. Comes to Switch too, finally. Oh, yeah. So there you go. We were fans of that one here. We did enjoy that one then. Thief VR, Legacy of Shadow comes to PlayStation VR 2 quest and PC today. Step into the shadows in Thief VR. You are Magpie, a cunning thief orphaned by Baron Northcrest and shaped by the streets. Use VR mechanics to steal, evade, and outsmart the city's forces. Your goal, a relic Northcrest vault which uncovers a far greater artifact with a powerful legacy. Legacy. Good for you.
Andy
You gotta. You gotta borrow Greg's psvr. Mike. This feels like something you'd with, like the way you with Hitman there.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
There are. There's a piece of me that. Let's just say this. I'm gonna play Half Life Alex here very soon. And that should be the kickoff of, like. Should I try some more VR games? I'll put this on the list for sure.
Greg Miller
Ghostbusters. Rise of the Ghost Lord. I'll see you there.
Mike
Saves the universe. Well, not anymore.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Okay.
Mike
But I liked it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah. What's that.
Andy
What's that pill you take to stop motion? The red pill.
Greg Miller
Oh, Dramamine. Drama.
Andy
Dramamine.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Nice.
Andy
So I. I want to give that a shot. I have three bottles in my backpack right now.
Greg Miller
Jesus Christ.
Andy
Because I always buy.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
What, the insane amount.
Andy
The little travel ones.
Greg Miller
I want to give it a shot. I have Three. Why did you buy three? Why'd you buy two more?
Mike
Why'd you bring them?
Greg Miller
Work?
Andy
I, I, I, they're in my bag.
Greg Miller
He packs everything in his bag. He's ready to go at any time.
Andy
I buy him at the airport and because I was, I was gonna use, I was gonna use Tim's xreal thing, right?
Greg Miller
Yeah.
Andy
And it gave me motion sickness the first time. But it was like a much older model and Tim was like the new one does it like you'll be a lot better off with it. But I, I still took the drama just in case. But I still had like three extra bottles in my back in case you guys want some either as well. They're anti drowsy so they don't make
Greg Miller
you go to tomorrow. Nick tunes. And the Dice of Destiny comes to switch to. This is one that has been out for a while on the other platforms. I want to play it and Ben doesn't want to play it. You know how I love Diablo? It's an action rpg. Diablo. But it's got Leonardo and spongebob and yada yada. And I'm always like, Ben, you want to do.
Andy
It's like, no, tell him no pizza night. Like, hey, fuck, I'm in charge.
Greg Miller
I love punishing him. Yeah.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
What about Minecraft Dungeons? You ever try that with.
Greg Miller
I haven't tried that yet, but I Platinum. That was Joey. So I really don't that there's no benefit from me going back back to the. You know what I mean? Like this. I can get you trophies and I could have something fun. Look at Timmy, man. It's cute.
Mike
I wish I could have played this game as a kid. This is cute as.
Greg Miller
Come over and play with me and Ben. Maybe if Funko Bless comes.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh, they got our avatar lady.
Mike
Oh, man, they put this on the wrong year. They should have put this out in 2000.
Andy
Susie from Rugrats.
Mike
Jimmy Neutron. They got fucking Jenny the teenage Robot.
Greg Miller
I'm telling you, this is the shit, man.
Mike
Oh, that's crazy.
Andy
Wait, Timmy Neutron.
Mike
No, Jimmy Neutron.
Andy
Timmy's turn. Timmy. Oh, the crimson chin. It looks Leonardo.
Greg Miller
It's awesome. I want to play it.
Mike
What the Mike?
Greg Miller
Put it on the streaming account.
Mike
Not make new cartoons. Why do they have all the classics in here?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
You gotta go back to the classic.
Mike
Wow.
Greg Miller
December 6th. The rhythm doctor comes to Xbox and PC. Save patients with your rhythm mastery. Rhythm Doctor is a rhythm game where you heal patients by defibrillating. Defibrillating them in time to their heartbeats. Learn each patient's Unique heartbeat and defeat boss viruses trying to sabotage your rhythm. All heart pumping soul soothing music.
Andy
This sounds cool.
Greg Miller
Sounds like a very, very cool idea. Right? Yeah. Almost elite beat agents or whatever, but.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Greg Miller
Or try trauma team or no. What am I? Trauma. Trauma team. The DS game where I used to play as a doctor. What is that? Trauma team. Trauma team.
Mike
Trauma center.
Greg Miller
Trauma center.
Andy
I was too busy getting. You know,
Greg Miller
you never even met a.
Andy
I was like 10. I think I was doing that.
Greg Miller
Angeline Era is Our next game. December 8th 8th. Every level, every level is hidden in plain sight in this non linear 3D action adventure game. Travel a vast country's unmarked overworld in search of the next challenging fight. Humorous encounter or mysterious landscape. You decide what's covered next, bro.
Mike
Do you know what's first of all? Actually I could see a little bit.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Don't say that.
Mike
It's crazy because I didn't grow up with a PS1, but I love a PS1 art style. I don't know what it is.
Andy
Yeah.
Mike
Something about what they were doing on that platform.
Andy
No, I don't think you're wrong. Yeah.
Mike
I just want every game to look like Brad.
Andy
The body shapes are. Yes, yes. The body shapes are so cute, man.
Greg Miller
Then hell freezes over on December 8th and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 comes to PlayStation 5. Mike.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yo. I love Microsoft Flight Simulator. There's something that awoken inside of me and I just can't get enough of it one day.
Andy
Well, you got your. You got your pp. My ppl.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Private Private's license. My. My ppl. Yeah. I love flight sim. I hope that more people want to jump into it.
Host - Sponsor Announcer
It is.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Is a fantastic, incredible game. How they leverage the cloud and AI and build into this gigantic world that you're just flying in all the time. It's the coolest. And all the updates that they have by the time that you'll play. This is really, really dope from the new missions, new planes. Of course all the different regions have been updated to look better. When you come down closer to the ground, it will always not look perfect. Yeah, I've come to accept that. But like it is crazy to fly over like Lake Tahoe and be like that's my house right there. You know what I mean?
Andy
When you. When you get out of the plane.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Andy
What are you doing?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
You can take photos of giraffes. Oh yeah, you can.
Andy
They're everywhere.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
They've been let loose. No, they have some fun photography missions in this now. Cuz 2024 was all about like doing more Things than just landing and takeoff. So yeah, they have like photography in this way. You will. Will fly over certain areas, land the plane, go take a photo of something, get back in the plane and take off.
Andy
I saw a guy on Tick Tock make a video about a little island that like, it's one of those. It's like in the indigenous people there sure are like, it's like, don't. Do not. It's illegal to even go there. You know what I mean? Like, do not with these people, but like they, they went there in the Microsoft flight simulator and like had the guy walk around and like, that's kind of wild. There's some dark secrets. No, I'm kidding. There was nothing there, but it was just like. It was just like a fascinating T tok man. I'll watch anything.
Greg Miller
I'm gonna go.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I'm gonna go fly over the Phoenix Festival happening on Saturday.
Andy
Oh, who's playing Billy McFarland.
Greg Miller
Story comes to PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and PC on December 8th. Ollie, Kick, Flip and grind your way through the ash and smoke of the underworld as you take on a seemingly impossible quest. Skate fast and to destroy demons and save other tortured souls on your journey from fragile beginner to harden hardened skater. How. Where are we at with this, everybody?
Andy
I had this on my fancy critic two years in a row.
Greg Miller
Oh, can't believe it's actually coming out.
Andy
Yeah, it's actually coming out pretty cool. It's one I want to try out. It's never one that I feel like was gonna fuck with me, but there's just something about it that I feel. Well, there's a lot about it, right? Like, yeah, you can't look at this and be like, yeah, no shit. There's something about it, like a lot visually going on with it, and I really hope that it kind of hits on like, like, you know, deeper themes about, you know, stories.
Mike
I. I flips. I've been very much looking forward to this one. I think the demo had unsold me a little bit and it's the smallest tweak of they changed how certain controls work from, like how skate does it. Where when you're playing skate, it's all on the right analog stick as far as your ollie and your tricks and all that stuff. Here it's on the face. Like one of the face buttons is jump. I want to say either circle or square is sure, sure, sure. And it's like you use your shoulder buttons for modifiers for the that and that was enough during the Diamondbake. Be like No, I was like, I don't like this.
Greg Miller
Got it. We shall see. December 8th also sees Yakuza 0 Director's Cut come out to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Obviously Yakuza well known in these parts thanks to Roger and a million other people. Then a game about digging a hole comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox and Switch. December. Play this game.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Everybody should play this game.
Greg Miller
If you aren't familiar. A minimalist game about digging a hole in the corner garden of a newly purchased house. Collect resources, sell them, upgrade your equipment and discover a mysterious secret. Costs you only one coffee. This of course has been on PC, Mike. Tell me about it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah, these are one of those games where this is what really drove me to start playing more on Steam and PC is seeing these games that come out in early access or like these weird wacky games that just don't really make their way to console or too late over to console. But a game about digging a hole is just so much fun because there's something that calls to every human being being.
Greg Miller
What if I calls to us?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
What if I keep going down? I yearn for the minds and there's something down there. There's something in your backyard and you're going to go find it. So I'll tell you, go play this. You can even play with your friends as well. Just start digging and get lost in the game.
Andy
You'll love it.
Greg Miller
Okay. Death howl comes to PC December 9th. Journey through the sorrowful spirit world in a souls like deck builder. Craft cards and claim powerful totems to defeat the woeful spirits lurking in the mystical lands. Unravel the tale of a grieving mother and her desperate attempt at ay d death and bring back her son. Bless you oud Right away.
Mike
I mean, yeah, this game very much speaks to me. I forget when we first saw this
Andy
game, but it was at a Steam next fest many like moons ago. I feel I played it like probably last year in a Steam next fest.
Mike
Cuz like just the, the. I mean they said the right buzzwords for me, right Neck builder and souls like. And I was talking to Andy about this I think yesterday where I'm like oh yeah, the game Death Howl is coming out. Why do they call it a soul? Like I'm very interested in like what that aspect of it is. Andy had the theory of like well, well probably so they don't. Probably so they don't make you think it's a roguelite. Because whenever you hear deck builder in an indie game, you automatically assume that it's A slay the spire or an inscription or something. Or Balatro. Right. Like a lot of these games end up having that sort of structure to them. And so the idea of playing a game that's more of an adventure, you're going from point A to point B and you're experiencing the story of grief and sorrow and what this main character is going through. I really like that. I think that has a really interesting slant to it.
Andy
And it's got just one of those art styles that's like, oh, they know what they're doing. This is a really good visual look. This isn't something, you know, trying to copy a whole lot of other things. It's just got such its own unique vibe.
Greg Miller
Dome Keeper comes to Xbox December 9th. This one has been out in PC for quite some time. Defend against waves of alien monsters in this unique roguelike action miner. Dig for resources, collect useful gadgets and upgrade equipment. Anybody ever play it?
Andy
No.
Greg Miller
I remember seeing this the way he said.
Andy
No, I, I, we saw this on the Xbox thing, I believe. Yeah, it's, it's one that like kind of got me like, oh, it got me a little.
Greg Miller
It looks interesting.
Andy
Yeah, I kind of reacted the same way when I saw Monsters are Coming. Oh yeah, I believe is awful name, which is an awesome game also, by the way. Yeah, this looks fascinating. I kind of forgot this one was.
Greg Miller
Add it to your list. Pay attention. Farming Simulator Signature Edition comes this switch to December 9th. You know, Farming Simulator, of course. Back in 2015 I did an amazing let's play that I had forgotten all about until somebody came up at a show and was like, remember their farming sim thing where you scream tech support at the end? And I was like, I guess, yeah, haven't thought about that in years. But yeah, I remember it. So good for you. If you need to play Farming Simulator on Switch too, then. Keyborg comes to switch December 9th. Keyborg is a relentless roguelite Beat em up where you enhance your body with new cybernetic implants. Each run you've been sent to the worst prison in the galaxy for crimes you didn't commit. Death won't provide an escape, but a violent reality show may offer you a way out.
Andy
Out.
Greg Miller
This is another one that's been on PC, but I had not heard of it. And then it does sound up many of Yalls Alley.
Andy
It's like, this is exactly what you want out of a, out of a double A game. Like this. This looks really cool. Yeah, but like out of the lighting's doing some weird stuff. Maybe that's just a Switch version I would imagine, right?
Greg Miller
If you go check out the PC
Andy
like no shadows, not a shadow to be seen, you know.
Greg Miller
On December 9th you can also get lock or maybe lok Digital on Switch. Learn a cryptic language of world changing words and master their mind bending effects. Discover. Learn the rules as you go and uncover how each new word has its own special ability to change the word around you in deep and surprising ways. Expand your vocabulary through 15 distinct worlds. Each one exploring a new mechanic and completely shaking up the way you solve puzzles. Puzzle Poppy.
Mike
Oh my God. I don't even know how to describe what I'm looking at, but I want to try it, I want to play it. I mean it's giving me all the feelings I feel when I'm like playing the fucking New York Times games. It seems like a word game like that but obviously more full fledged, just indie thing. This looks cool.
Greg Miller
Hell yeah. I thought so too. I thought you might like that one. When that comes out, thank goodness you're here. Makes its appearance on Xbox similar to when we do these and we're like xbox didn't have that game. Thank goodness you're here.
Andy
A game we, we gotta clip that
Greg Miller
part out that we loved. Hilariously funny, very British. Is finally coming to Xbox December 9th. So grab it there if you haven't.
Mike
Fun fact locked Digital already out on Steam. It's been out on Steam for about a year.
Greg Miller
Good. Then Unbeatable comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. December 9th. Barrett wooed off camera. Unbeatable is a rhyth adventure where music is illegal and you do crimes. Follow the story of Beat and her band on the run in narrative experience. In a narrative experience full of big emotions. Powered by arcade, flawless rhythm, gameplay.
Mike
Hell yeah. Very much looking forward to this.
Greg Miller
Yeah, I'm. I'm excited to see how this one is because it's, it's. Is it so intense that I can't play it or is it like can I have a. A little story and where I going through?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Dude, I'm going to get a little selfish really quick.
Greg Miller
Please.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
This is the only game that I've been thinking about about all month long.
Greg Miller
Whoa.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
For all I can think about is this video game. Selfishly, because it's all about fantasy. It comes down to Mike and Barrett. Right now I am like 15 points up on Barrett and this game is the last game on Barrett's list. And all I can think about, I go to bed, I think about, I wake up, I go, oh my God. When is this video game Coming out, I come into work, I look at the calendar, I go, okay, what day is this game coming? Coming out. When will I know, right? And so I'm just. I can't stop thinking about this video game.
Andy
Damn, dude.
Greg Miller
Are you worried? Are you? What do you. How you feel?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Hell yeah, I'm worried. It's got a cool style in it. That means it's probably good, you know what I mean?
Mike
Like, make Barrett unbeatable.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Barrett probably listen to a podcast that said, yo, this is funny.
Greg Miller
He probably cheated again. He cheated again. What he does all the time.
Mike
I'm giving you the credit. You got a good eye for video games.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
He's got a great eye.
Mike
He's got a great eye.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That's why I'm worried about it.
Andy
About it.
Greg Miller
Oh, here comes Barrett.
Andy
Tim and I have known about this game for four years.
Greg Miller
You, Mike. What podcast did Tim listen to in Mexico? Little Rocket Lab Comes to switch to December 10th. You play as Morgan, an aspiring engineer, headed home to complete your family's dream project, a rocket ship. Finding home not quite how she left it. Morgan will need to research and build clever contraptions to get out and save the day or whatever.
Andy
He really petered out.
Greg Miller
It keeps going. It's very long. I was like, let's look at what we got here. Okay.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Little bit like a satisfactory building.
Greg Miller
You care? Anybody? Anybody?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
One day I'll try one of these.
Mike
I can live a different life, dude.
Greg Miller
Yep, yep, yep. Totally.
Mike
I'd love to play this.
Greg Miller
Then, of course, I don't have a date on here, but it's next week on the 13th. Maybe. Pokemon Legends ZA Mega Dimension drops. Venture into Hyperspace Lumio Lumios for the next chapter of your adventure. Mysterious distortions have appeared without warning in Lumiose City. They seem to be connected to a place known as Hyperspace Lumio. And the mythical Pokemon Hoopa has the power to transform them into portals so you can travel there. I am incredibly excited to go back to Pokemon Legends. EA so stoked. Cannot wait.
Andy
I'm almost done with it. Yeah, I'm on. I think I just got that rank
Greg Miller
D. Oh, very nice. But just stop there, you know.
Andy
Well, I gotta. Yeah, I mean, well, night rain came along, but I gotta like, you know, I will see it through because.
Greg Miller
Are you gonna do this dlc?
Andy
I. Probably not.
Greg Miller
Because I'm stopping every. Everything. I will review this as well. Cuz I am the voice of the Pokemon fan. It kind of.
Andy
Yeah, I do. I mean, I totally agree. With what? With what a lot of Y' all said about Pokemon Za just as a video game and tin talking about how it's, you know, it's pretty okay for the most part. And then you hit that moment and then for the rest of the game, it's like the most ridiculous funny hype, like, totally dead on, like, this game is a blast. So far are. Despite all of its shortcomings, there have been. There's been a controversy happening on Twitter. There's an anti Pokemon bot agenda where I thought somebody was coming into my chat to talk to me for buying this game. And then another person started doing it and they were saying the same things. And then we all, as a chat and as a community said, pause, let's ask this person a very pointed question. And it responded with just more kind of talking points of like, you spent $70 on this. It's just one city. Why would you do it? And it's like, oh, my God, these are just bots. There's like, there are people that are like just paying to have bots that monitor the Pokemon Za category on Twitch to then go in there and be like, why would you buy this? But they start off like this bless. Is this game. Is this just like one city or what?
Greg Miller
Oh, my God.
Andy
And they do. And they do like this kind of like, I'm. I'm gonna pretend to be coy and curious about this.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Andy
And then they're like, wow, so you spent like that much on this? Like, like. And then. And then they start kind of like harassing you. And they're like, you got. You got to be better with your money. And they start talking to you. I thought it was a person, but it's like, it's just these bots. It's so bizarre, man. It's so weird, dude.
Mike
All bots.
Andy
Garchon.
Greg Miller
All bots. After Pokemon on December 10th, you get Montezuma's Revenge, the 40th anniversary edition. All the consoles experience the timeless classic adventure. Now fully evolved, the 1983 classic multi room platformer, Montezuma's Revenge returns in 2.5D glory. And now Pedro's Adventure is bigger than ever.
Mike
Hell yeah. Glad to see this guy come back. Miss this game. Joking, we all.
Greg Miller
Why are we so ready just to keep on going? I mean, is this. I don't know. Is. I guess this is. Yeah. Did this. Is this. Did this inspire Spelunky? Is that the whole day? Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Or now they just rip it off.
Mike
Splunky, which I played Splunky like a week and a half ago with My friend Zachary, he's obsessed with Splunky. And he was like, yo, let's play it co op. I'm gonna take you through it's four levels. I was like, it's four levels. He's like, well, it's four worlds, but it's. That game is pretty cool. I don't know if y' all played Splunky.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Me, Nick and Andy played it once. Almost broke me.
Mike
That game's kind of wild. You can go to hell in that game.
Andy
Did you know that? Yeah, we. We went some places. It was mainly just us exploring each other's friendships and hell in the mind with Nick. How. Yeah, how little we enjoyed each other's company.
Mike
Yo, if y' all haven't played Splunky, you should check it out.
Greg Miller
Mutant Football League 2 comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC. December 10th. Mutant Football 2 is a hard hitting arcade style football game that combines intense gameplay wise crack mutants, weapons, deep strategy and outrageous humor. Mike, you're all.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I'm so pumped up on this. I can't believe they're making a second one. Because somehow I found the first one on Xbox a couple years back. Because I'm always in the hunt for an NFL Blitz. I miss NFL Blitz a lot. I miss Blitz, the league, I miss the nf, the NBA streets, the NFL streets of yesteryear.
Andy
Right?
Blessing (Mike Bless)
We love the feelings and like there's something there where it's like NFL blitz in 2025 would be amazing. Right? And all of a sudden I found Super Mutant Football League. And I was like, what's going on here? And it is so much fun. The problem is it didn't feel great the first one. There's something about the turbo and the way your player runs and gets speed going that never felt as good as NFL Blitz. But it is over the top dumb. You can be the Mile High City Chronic. They all have fun names after the dent or after NFL teams. And I love that you can be different styles and genres of, you know, mutants, from zombies to werewolves to orcs. You know, I like all that. This game I have really high hopes for. If this can come out and just make me smile and have a good time, I'm in.
Andy
So I was. You mentioned a couple years back, I remember perusing the walls of freeze frame in far Texas where I would go rent games from them. And I remember seeing as a kid on the wall, super Nintendo game. And I thought it was this, but it was Mutant League Football.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That's this. Yeah.
Andy
No, this is Football League.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Yeah.
Andy
Yeah. So like This, I think this is. I think they maybe brought it back at one point, you know, So I was the first one. A 3D game like this Mike, the
Blessing (Mike Bless)
one I played on Xbox, was just. I don't know about. Okay, I don't know.
Greg Miller
That's interesting because I was confused though, like, oh, this is a re release and like, it's a new game.
Andy
Yeah.
Greg Miller
What's going on?
Andy
I think it's like a road rage, road rash sort of situation.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
And like the big thing you see is like the environmental hazards along the football field. So like on the field there will be mines, there'll be crazy things that will just destroy your character. So it's fun.
Greg Miller
On December 11th, Pioneers of Pagonia comes to PC. The city builder challenges you to build a thriving community while facing the dangers of an untamed land. Lead your people to success in a procedurally generated and dynamic world. Construct detailed settlements, defend against emerging threats, and optimize resource management. Management. Cool.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Okay.
Greg Miller
Star Trek Infection comes out to Quest 3 and PC. December 11th. Confront the darkness within the ship. In your mind, a VR full body survival horror experience in the Star Trek universe. Explore a ruined Defiant class starship as you battle an unknown entity mutating your body. Put Nick Scarpino in the fucking headset.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Do you think Nick would like this?
Andy
He's not a VR guy and.
Greg Miller
Or I don't give a shit. Give him one of your bottles.
Mike
Bottles.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Give him a bottle. Oh, shit.
Andy
I do have a lot of bottles.
Greg Miller
Yeah. You know, get him in there because. Why not? He'd love to play some Star Trek stuff. Maybe. Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader comes to switch to December 11th. It's been on PC since 2023. Of course, made in close partnership with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader is a story rich classical RPG from Owlcat Games.
Andy
Hennick, what happened?
Greg Miller
Would you play a Star Trek VR game for us?
Andy
Heck yeah.
Greg Miller
Andy's got no.
Andy
You, you and I all passed out the whole day because of VR.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Put a bucket in front of me.
Greg Miller
Yeah, this guy knows he'll fucking do it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
How?
Andy
The coffee breath is just so extreme.
Greg Miller
He's got like your dad's coffee breath. Code Violet comes to PlayStation 5. December 12th. Dive into Code Violet, an exhilarating third person action horror game from Team Kill Media. Never heard of this game. Cool. Terminator 2D. No. Fate finally made it. Maybe finally.
Andy
Maybe go back to Code Violet. Whoa.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
He said hold up.
Andy
Hold on.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
He said hold up. Time out.
Andy
Hold on. Would love to see the visual. Thank you, Kevin. You're killing it. Okay.
Greg Miller
It's got some mind's eye looking going
Andy
on, so it's a. Okay. It kind of looks like they're tr. No, never mind. I was gonna say they're trying to do a Metal Gear, but is it like a. I'll be honest with you, when you're talking, I didn't listen what you're saying.
Greg Miller
Oh, dinosaur be dive into Code Violet. An exhilarating third person action horror game from Team Kill Media.
Andy
It looks pretty.
Greg Miller
It's 50 bucks.
Mike
They have like the UI on the arm there.
Greg Miller
That's cool.
Andy
It's got like that. It's got like janky kind of anime.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Oh God.
Andy
Yeah, that dinosaur hopping is not what I'm in for.
Greg Miller
It features heart stopping survival gameplay, strategic inventory management, explosive action, horror combat.
Mike
Dude, this Red Bull's kicking my ass.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Good.
Greg Miller
Terminator 2D. No fake. December 12th from me finally out experience the thrill of Terminator 2 Judgment Day. With arcade action and pixel perfect graphics in this unique story. Blending iconic scenes from the movie with original scenarios and multiple endings. Humanity's fate is yours to decide. I've been so excited about this since they announced it. And of course it has been delayed and delayed and there's always something going on and they gotta put the boxes together was one of their excuses. I cannot wait for this and I hope it actually comes out in a second. December 12th. Mike, I know you're excited. December 15th, Maneater comes to iOS and Android.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
This made me smile when I just read that. I cannot believe that.
Andy
Wow. Good for them.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Similar to Andy. If there's somebody out there, a rich millionaire billionaire, that wants to give me a bunch of money, I will team up with the Maneater team and I promise you, we will give you Cocaine Bear the video game. We will move from the sea to the land and I will give you Cocaine Bear Air. The video game Man Eater is so much fun. I can't imagine it on my phone as. I just don't play games on my phone. But you know what? People be doing that.
Greg Miller
People keep doing it.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
Good. And if you are doing that, let me tell you about the shark pg. The R from RPG is in the shark.
Andy
Oh, nice.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
I love Fiji this game so much. You go from a little baby great white into a Megalodon and you're just eating your way through all the different areas. It's Grand Theft Auto, but you're a shark.
Andy
You just evolve.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
So much fun. It's a blast. This game rules.
Greg Miller
According to the chat. Aztec40 says code violet got Delayed till January. So you can take it up with Game Informer. Email Alex Van Aiken, the rogue Prince of Persia comes to Switch. And switch to December 16th. Of course, this was a beloved one that Tim wouldn't shut up about back.
Mike
No, no, you're thinking of the other one. You're thinking.
Greg Miller
Tim loved this one too, didn't he?
Mike
I mean, I think he liked to find.
Greg Miller
Oh, okay.
Andy
Yeah.
Greg Miller
I know he loved Lost Crown. I thought he also enjoyed this one quite a bit. Maybe he didn't.
Mike
Well, the problem is that this one, I think he liked it a lot, but it came out very. Yeah, very close to Lost Crown in early access. And then this year I got a full release. This is like a few months ago.
Andy
Part of the Dead Cells team.
Mike
Yeah, correct.
Greg Miller
Part of the Dead.
Andy
Yeah. So they. Motion Twin. Motion Twin was the, the original developers who's. Who's working on Windblown. And so maybe they branched off and called themselves Evil Twin. I don't know. But, but I know that it's like, you know what, whenever that split happened, this team worked on this video game
Mike
and I've heard like Evil Empire.
Andy
Okay. I haven't heard enough things to want to check it out.
Greg Miller
Sure, sure.
Andy
You know, sure, sure. In, in a, in a landscape where we just have a lot of like really high quality games. I don't know. But let, let me know if I'm wrong in the comments.
Greg Miller
And then your final game according to game informer.com 2025for the year and the month is Adventure Reborn on Switch December 30th. Adventure Reborn is a deeply moving adventure game where you make decisions that influence the story of a loving family.
Andy
It's a rough walk cycle.
Greg Miller
It is a rough looking game. There's a rough looking game. But congratulations on making a game people who made it.
Andy
It's hard.
Mike
Yeah.
Greg Miller
And that is every game coming out in December. We did it everybody. Let's jump over to the Super Chats to see what people have going on over here. Corona Tin Man 1 is a member for 19 months. Super chats. I'm most excited for Metroid Prime 4, but I'm also excited to see what games will be unveiled at the Game Awards. Hopefully Duskbloods. Of course. Game Awards are one week from today. We will be live reacting to them but next week we are doing two different gamescasts where of course we make our predictions on the winners but also our predictions on the announcements. So keep that one in your back pockets.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
You think he would talk about Dust Blitz? We're Just talking about the DLC of of Night Rain. You think he's going to talk about Dust Bloods? Man, I don't.
Andy
I don't know. I mean talk more about. The game's been in development for like four years.
Greg Miller
Mike like music super chats and says Mike convinced me to pause Metroid for Beyond beyond and drive to my local gas station to try the new Christmas Red Bull flavor.
Andy
Oh, is it almost one?
Greg Miller
Andy, go try it at once. It's currently 1229. You're almost there. S' mores and Oreo super chats to say routine just dropped today on Game Pass which we talked about later. It's Alien isolation. Good. The atmosphere is top notch. So that's interesting.
Mike
One that I'll shout out is Marvel Token Fighting Souls is having a another beta this weekend which I believe starts tomorrow and so I'm gonna be playing that.
Andy
Damn. This releases website has that shit. Yes, that's the good shit that I'm saying.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
That's the stuff.
Mike
They have the end date for it too.
Andy
That's good. That's really good stuff.
Greg Miller
Zack's on Galaxian. Shout out to no players online. An indie horror game that got unjustly DMCA last month that finally got reinstated on Steam. Seems to have some inscription inspirations and has a free demo too. So look at no players online. Dexter writes in to say predictions for switch two shadow drops at TGA's. That's next week but I'll do it since you did it. Baldur's Gate 3, Final Fantasy 16, Kingdom Come Deliverance to what?
Andy
Oh they're gonna say Elden Ring Shadow
Greg Miller
and Alan Wake too. Love you guys. I'm a top 03% viewer listener on YouTube. Thank you dude.
Andy
Thank you.
Greg Miller
Yeah, I should have said that. Multiple things. Thank you to everyone who shared their YouTube stats or Spotify raps or whatever. It's really awesome to see how many of you just insanely consume the content we make.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
We love and our Twitch recaps too. It's great to see.
Greg Miller
I've seen none of those and I won't look at those. Our final super chat comes from Jay Farelli who writes in and says need to shout out that third person update for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. It drops tomorrow and then from the Ashes expansions on the 19th.
Andy
I'm returning to Pandora.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
You got to go. Go back.
Andy
I'm gonna.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
He wouldn't shut up about a dinner. Greg Miller.
Greg Miller
Is this the all he would talk about?
Andy
No, the movie. I was talking about the movie.
Blessing (Mike Bless)
But. But the he's avatar.
Greg Miller
This is the.
Andy
The avatar frontiers of Pandora. Yeah. Which is far cry but if you have a machine that could run this or if you have Nvidia GeForce now, you. You owe it to yourself just to like walk into that world. Like we're not talking enough about Ubisoft and their art and technical team and how good shit always looks and doesn't require a whole lot of tinkering. Like Avatar was one of those. Where I walked in, I was like, holy fuck, this looks amazing. Super visually impressive.
Greg Miller
