Kind of reminds me of like a Dreamcast game in terms of presentation and colors and all that stuff. But it kind of plays like Tony Hawk meets a rhythm game and so I'm really looking forward to it.

Like, I feel like it would go. State of Play is my most anticipated then honestly, Xbox and then Jeff. And it's not because I don't think Jeff's got it. There's gonna be really great stuff in there and there's gonna be a lot of ads, gonna be a lot of things. It's gonna be fun to hang out with all of us and get ready to go see a bunch of games. But there'll be a lot of good things in there. But will there be a lot of great, amazing things in there? I don't know. And Xbox is that fucking show me fable. What do we got? You know, I mean, like, I. I know a little bit. I feel like I know a lot of Xbox right. In terms of what we're gonna get. So if they can deliver on those games. Yeah.

For me, my whole. The hype peaks at Final Fantasy Part three. And just where is that? Gonna be. Is it even gonna be this week? I think it is is, but I was sure it was going to be game awards last year and it wasn't so. But I, I think now, especially with Rebirth having come out days before it, it's time to move on, right? It's time to hear about this game. I imagine it's 2027. The big question for me is does it show up at State of Play and is it going to be PS5 exclusive for the first couple years or whatever? Or is it going to be at Jeff's thing and it's like they announced, hey, we broke the curse, we are not tied to anything. The contract's up. It's going to be day and date everywhere. It could show up at Summer Game Fest and still be PlayStation exclusive, but I'm leaning towards the latter.

I personally think the game feel doesn't have that same fun level of arcadiness as the NBA street, that classic game feel. And I know people immediately ask, when was the last time you played NBA Street? I play it surprisingly a lot because I allegedly have it downloaded on a portable device that I have and I boot it up constantly. There is something about the trick system in this game that's not resonating with me on that level. That said, I think it does have a lot going for it for the energy that it has and the style that it has. It has Bobbito Garcia AKA DJ Cucumber Slice on the ones and choose. I can't stress how fun this game is. Like I played it for, I believe it was Steam next fest where it had a demo and if you're watching the video and seeing like how fast paced, how you know, how colorful, how bright all this stuff is, it's as fun as it looks, right? You are on rails, you're playing as a train, you are jumping from rail to rail, you are doing flips and tricks and all that and it's just a blast. I think this will come out and probably have that like neon white effect.

I don't think there's any difference in the release date. So I imagine that's just an omission on their part. I have been talking about this game for a while. We all have. Obviously since we saw it the first time, we've been talking about how dumb Elliot's hat is. We don't need to focus on that. We do of course, have two super chats right away from it. Aaron Lime says don't sleep on Adventures of Elliot chat. His hat's dumb. But the demo kicked out ass. It's basically Zelda slash Secret of Mana style game. I really liked it. Yeah, it's like it's exactly what they're talking about in the super chats. It is. It's more Zelda than I think I even realized. I remember watching the first trailer and we're like, oh, it's an action thing, right? But when you play it, it's like, oh, there's. This is. This is Zelda. This is pretty cool. And so that's there. I'm like you. Where I. Octopath never really resonated with me. But I loved Live Alive. And so I'm looking for other things in this art style to speak to me that way. I think this will. This will be it. The world is beautiful. The voice acting is good. Like it's doing all the things that I want it to do. Right. I think the only thing I could say about it is that the. There is a lot going on visually. Like the colors are very saturated in a way where I'm like, man, okay, it's doing the HD 2D thing, but it's almost kind of hard to look at it sometimes because it's so colorful and so condensed, but most of the time it looks beautiful. And so like even that's a smaller.

It's kind of hard to tell based on the HD like trailers or footage that you're seeing, but it's obviously very similar. Look into a lot of other HD2D stuff in the vein of Octopath and those games. But I think it looks way nicer. I think it looks way better in terms of style. Why are you laughing?

The chest is cracking me up. Sky's like, the hat is fine. Followed by Nico. The hat looks even dumber in the art.

Well, that's one thing I Actually do want to shout out is the 2D key art they have when there's dialogue between characters. The art is beautiful. I love the talking in it.

There's something in terms of the. The way the combat feels in Alabaster dawn that is a lot more similar to the way you would expect combat to feel in something like Haiti where you.

It's way more like just a. A top down perspective, third person like shooter in a way like you're. You're aiming, you're dodging, you're pairing, you're doing all that stuff. Amina, the Hollower doesn't quite have that feel. But Alabaster down has the insanely smart like puzzle solving in dungeons with I think the best, the best combat has ever felt in this form in terms of like, like a top down.

But Mina is just so goated in terms of what it does with its level design and world design and, like, world puzzle gimmicks and things like that. It's so smart. It's so surprising. And the boss fights are awesome. This looks like really, really damn good as well. But Mina, I think, is like a must play. And I don't. You know, you don't have to be nostalgic for that style of video game. It's just really.

You're on a stage with a drop shadow, but it just looks really fun and neat and chaotic and kind of like the. The side scrolling version of what you would expect.

I can't freaking wait. Like the reveal of the this definitely let down because I was led to believe it was going to be a new Star Fox game. So going back to 64 was definitely a disappointment. The character designs not what I wanted to see from Star Fox but everything that's come out since that initial reveal, I've been like godamn. I can't wait for this fully orchestrated soundtrack. All the cinematics being like the in between level. Cinematics look very cool. Love that they're adding story elements but the Star Wolf entrance that they released on the Japanese website, I was like dude, I can't freaking wait for this. This just seems like such an awesome remake of one of my favorite games ever. And I always am looking for excuses to replay this game. So replaying it kind of with all the enhancements and it looks great in game. I just still don't like their designs and I don't think that'll ever change.

I'm super pumped to play it with motion controls because I loved star Fox 64 growing up. It's a game that me and my friends would just always replay, replay. And you know, the R wing is just such a cool ass looking ship. And seeing this game and just knowing like how much I love gyro controls, I'm. I'm really pumped to kind of give it a shot.

I'm with you there too because like I really didn't like the gyro controls in Star Fox zero. But that was more because of how it functioned with the game. The interaction of the GamePad and the. The screen where it's like you're kind of like mainly moving on the screen and then looking at the GamePad cockpit view to aim and it was just like no, no. I want to look at one thing. Using gyro control.
