I saw a lot of scuttlebutt on the Internet about, you know, some zombie streamers being like, I don't want to play Battle Royale. And it's like, okay. But like that's the fucking event. You gotta. You gotta do what they tell you to play. Like they were doing. They flew you out there to do, you know, to go through the schedule. So I want to hear if you all got any sort of the, you know, experience any of the drama there. And also what sort of celebrities you all met. Where do you want to start? Because I had Questions? Well, I had a very, very. I believe it was an Instagram story from Roger which sort of really set the scene. So as Andy was alluding to, they put us through a bunch of the different modes here. So we played multiplayer, which had Team Deathmatch, Domination Hardpoint.

Okay, so you played Warzone. This is the resurgence map that you guys are playing on right now. What's it called? Haven't Heaven Hollows. Hollows.

Call of Duty Zombies map from last year, Nick. It has Appalachia vibes in the fall and it has nine pois on it from a riverboat all the way up to the top near the mountain peak. And it rocks.

When you say based on a Black Ops map, it is. Was it like these are a lot of the structures in that map and then they expanded beyond that, the whole.

[Andy Cortez]

Downtown, if you remember. If you remember zombies. That first. No, this is not.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, I was going to say this. It's not for dance.

Oh, it's snowing now. The Call of Duty map last time by the bridge, they have all of downtown, the. The bowling alley and more. And then they expanded upon that around it.

Yeah, it looks. It has a different look and feel to it. Very vibrant, very pretty. And yeah, it's. It's exactly what you. What you expect. It is that little area and then they expand past it and they have a little river. They have some really cool moments there. I played one game of that and I had a good time. I'm not a War Zone person. That's not the way that I play this game.

But this is. This is the new map. This is the research map.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yes, I believe so.

This is. Okay, interesting. So it's mostly flat.

I'm excited to spend more time. We got an hour on that, which came out to about three games for us. So not enough time, but just enough to get teased and want more.

Oh, every.

FIFA killer was there. Who won World Series of War Zone? Oh, he dominated us. Everybody in their mama was here. It was a big event. Big time event. What.

What are some of the big key differences that you could say that you've noticed? I know we didn't put the most time into Black Ops 6. We did our usual, like, here's a couple weeks with it and we hop in and hop out. What were some of the big things that you go, oh, I like these perks that you were mentioning with the Sniper or whatever. These perk features, the way the movement is sort of intermingled with these older maps kind of adds a lot new opportunities. What were some of the big takeaways?

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, they have a lot of new. They have a new perk system right here where basically, if you are able to. The different colors of the perks, right? They have red, blue, and green. If you either mix or match with certain ones, you have two of one color, or if you have all of one color, then you get another perk. Right. So you're able to kind of build out your loadout that way. There was one, which. I don't remember the color situation what it was, but there was one where every time you get a kill, basically you get a mini UAV for a few seconds, you get to see where the next closest enemy is. So that was super helpful for me and us specifically with the way that we played. We did. Spoiler alert. We shared a controller the entirety of the time we played multiplayer. So for us, being able to kind of kill somebody and then immediately see where to go, it helped us work together and kind of make Call of Duty history. So that was. That was a big deal.

Did you guys get any kills?

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, surprisingly enough, we got a lot of kills.

[Andy Cortez]

Really well.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, we did super well.

[Nick Scarpino]

What did your. Here's a. I guess a question for you guys then. You were playing in Resurgence when you guys were sharing this.

[Andy Cortez]

No, multiplayer and Zombies is where we shared.

[Nick Scarpino]

Okay, so you're playing multiplayer, so presumably you have other members, people that were around you on your team.

[Andy Cortez]

[Snowbike Mike]

How did they feel about you guys sharing a controller?

[Snowbike Mike]

Everyone loved it.

[Andy Cortez]

Yeah, everybody.

Yeah, everyone loved it. Activision loved that we did that. And also our team loved it because we weren't at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Because here's the thing, Nick, I think you misunderstood because I think you think that, oh, this is like a handicap for us. This is a plus. We're doing better than we were individually because we're minding. We're melding our minds.

Get a chance to. I don't think they're really playing it. That's the problem with COD is there's just so much of it and so little of it is the actual experience that you're looking for. Depending on who you are. If you want multiplayer, you want. You hate fucking battle Royale. If you like battle royale. You probably don't like multi only. You only play multiplayer to grind guns. What modification look like with. With skins? Like were you changing, you know, did. Did the standard soldier characters have like different cosmetics and then were. How did weapon modifications look at all?

[Snowbike Mike]

You were in those menus more than I was. Do you see any?

[Andy Cortez]

Yeah, the skin wise it looked like the normal Call of Duty skins that you would see. Andy. There wasn't anything different about it. They were sticking with the. Hey, here's the five beta traditional soldier skins that you'll see from the campaign the to multiplayer. There was nothing different or insane about that loadout wise. It was your normal loadout look but with different perks involved. The perk system is definitely where you're going to get lost and try to find your best loadout that fits your play style, which is the most fun to get into gun wise. There's a lot of new guns. Weapons. Weapons. Weapons is what they're going to talk about a lot. There's some returning guns from way back in the day. There's old, I think like 18 new guns, maybe like six a lot guns. So you're playing with a lot of.

[Snowbike Mike]

New things and also a lot of camos. They focused a huge part of the pre briefing presentation on camo specifically because weapon, weapon prestige is back. So you can prestige all of your guns up to three prestiges and they, they have by the time you get to the master prestige, a very special weapon camo. So they're showing off how crazy this.

[Nick Scarpino]

Can get as far as weapon mods and upgrades for the, for the guns.

[Andy Cortez]

Right.

[Nick Scarpino]

A scale of Mike, this is specifically for you, scale of 1 to 10. How confusing and annoying is it going to be?

[Andy Cortez]

Not at all. Because guess what Nick, now you can share a loadout code with your friends or your community and if someone kills you during that kill cam, you can copy their gun loadout right from there.

[Nick Scarpino]

But you don't have to have the things up like.

[Andy Cortez]

Well, you'll have to have the gun upgraded on the attack.

[Nick Scarpino]

How do you. That's what I'm saying. Attachments, upgrades, progression for the gun. How annoying is that?

[Andy Cortez]

Every gun and everything through every avenue of call of duty 7. So if we play single player, if we play co op campaign, if we play zombies, war zone or multiplayer, all that progression will be happening at the same time.

[Nick Scarpino]

Are they, are they still doing the thing where the attachments go for multiple guns but you have to unlock the pistol in order to get the shotgun in order to get the, the sniper rifle? You see what I'm saying?

[Andy Cortez]

I thought they stopped that.

I thought they had done that.

[Nick Scarpino]

Yeah, no, I think that was still.

[Andy Cortez]

Well, I thought, I thought Black Op six, they stopped that.

Yeah. And also Modern Warfare and also in terms of progression. We, we had, we weren't really like doing that or focusing on. Because they gave us a few guns and everything.

[Nick Scarpino]

You guys know what I'm talking about. The last time, the last time I played I was like, oh, I really want this, this new like this. If you want this great clip. You have to upgrade the pistol to level 17 in order to. And I'm like, what the. Nobody cares about the pistol. Nobody wants to play with pistols.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, that's not a thing anymore, I don't think.

[Nick Scarpino]

Thank God.

[Snowbike Mike]

Which is good. Yeah, this is back to basics, Call of Duty.

[Nick Scarpino]

I mean, just give me a. Let me grind the gun. Let me level up the gun. Let me get all these.

[Snowbike Mike]

Think about it like this. If you play Black Ops 6, it's that plus a few new features, that's kind of the vibe that I felt in Black Ops 6. Black Ops 7, rather. I wasn't disappointed. I had a good time with it. It was. It just feels like more Black Ops 6. It feels like a. Hey, we're making it more futuristic. We're giving it a new coat of paint, new weapons. The Omni Movement feels like Omni Movement. Plus the jumping adds a little bit of flair. But yeah, it's everything you love about Black Ops 6, but it's more of it. So, yeah, this is kind of exactly what I wanted. I didn't want them to kind of break the whole franchise and try to be like, oh, well, we have to make a new game. So no more Omni Movement. We're going to change. Black Ops 6 is such a great kind of ground floor for where they can build off of. For the future of Call of Duty. So I was happy with it. I had a good time.

[Nick Scarpino]

This is what's confused me. Arachnids in the chat says, no, that was years ago. Call of Duty, that was not. That was like last year, the last time I played, last time I went into Warzone, they had the. The system of upgrading each component for each weapon was so goddamn convoluted that it was very, very annoying.

[Host/Announcer]

But also time swimming fast.

[Nick Scarpino]

It's fair.

Yeah, it's fair.

I just remember when we first got into Warzone, they were like, here's the gun. You get the gun up to level 30 or 32 or what. I think the max level for guns at that point were like 60. And so you had to get that, but you got all the components from that gun. And then it would annoy me because the next week that gun would get nerfed and then the meta would be another gun. And that's how they kept going. But there was a moment, I think it was. I swear to God, it was the last Call of Duty. I played where they were like, if you want this component for this gun, you have to level another gun up to level 12 to unlock this to get it there. It was so convoluted and we all hated it. How did I could be wrong.

How did the battle pass and all that look this time around? Like, were there any glimpses of it?

[Andy Cortez]

There's no battle pass.

[Host/Announcer]

No, not. Not during this. We didn't see anything.

Want to talk about zombies a little bit? It's a different map. It's called Ashes of the Damned. It's the way that they're building this out is a bunch of smaller loc locations that you then hop in a car and then go from location to location again. Mike and I shared a controller and absolutely dominated. Took us a few tries. We had to kind of figure out the location and have you guys thought.

About streaming together all the time and just sharing the controller?

I mean this is gonna be out.

Yeah. So Ashes of the Damned. I like. I like the concept of it, right. Of having these smaller, smaller locations that you jump in a car and you go from place to place. And when you're jumping in the car, you're kind of going through, like, a tight little corridor where, like, zombies are getting after you. And then you have to kind of go around, like, basically what are like mines. So you're not like, blowing up and, you know, you're going left and right, weaving in, and then you go to the next location. And I just. That's not the way I want to play zombies. Honestly, the more I thought about it, we're actually in there. Of like, okay, well, I want the Juggernog, but I can't afford it. But I need to keep on moving. So now I'm going to hop in the car, go down the alleyway, avoid some stuff. I'm stuck here now. Not hop in the car, go back and get Juggernaug it. Just. That's not the way that I want to be able to just run to any poi. I don't want to have to jump in a car and have to figure that Locate situation out.

I. Can you bring up gameplay one more time for this, Barrett, if you have a chance? Because I'm having trouble visualizing what you're describing.

[Andy Cortez]

Think of eight zombie maps. Normal zombie maps. Like just a giant square, we'll call it. Now, imagine them being connected in an 8 logo. The infinity logo.

[Nick Scarpino]

Right.

[Host/Announcer]

Okay.

And so in between each one of those locations are like these passageways that you drive. So we'll go from point A to point B, and it's a different map, right?

[Snowbike Mike]

Yes.

[Andy Cortez]

We'll do X, Y, and Z to turn on power grab, different power ups, different gumballs, and then we'll get back in the car, go to point C Right in that point. C. There's different things going on in the map as well.

[Host/Announcer]

So did you feel that it felt a little too disconnected and ruined like the momentum, personally?

[Snowbike Mike]

A little bit, yeah. I. The. There is going to be an update. Mike, am I right about this of like that each of these little areas are going to have like kind of the robust full build out. They're going to. They're going to fully build it out. So you can get Juggernaut. I can get it all. You just play in that one little area. But that's going to be later on down the line the way that it is right now. Yeah, it just felt a little disconnected. Not really the vibe and also the driving stuff didn't interest me. It wasn't like I'm driving around like, oh wow, there's something. There's like a secret here or there's something like really challenging gameplay. No, it's like you just see the bombs and you're going left, right, left, right. The fun, or the fun aspect of it was you and me, you know, sharing a controller, trying to fucking frantically do this. But if I'm playing that by myself, that's not really what I'm looking for.

[Host/Announcer]

You already mentioned like you couldn't. Roger didn't want you to use keyboard mouse so that you were playing. Everybody was playing on PCs.

[Andy Cortez]

Yes, everyone on PCs. Yep.

[Host/Announcer]

Okay, gotcha. I know that a lot of these preview events can get really iffy with you getting in the Duffy and getting in the settings and tuning shit. Was it kind of blocked off in ways for you when you go to the settings?

[Andy Cortez]

We spend zero time in this.

[Host/Announcer]

Yeah, I'm sure others went in there maybe change their, you know, hotkeys or whatever. Yeah. Or their. Their field of view. No, me and Roger just played the game.

Yeah, we went, we. The sensitivity was there. We made the shirt that was a little bit up. But yeah, other than that we just kind of let it rock. It seemed like it was pretty open though. They didn't stop us to do any of that.

Any special sort of weapons in Zombies that were like any brand new things that you noticed?

[Snowbike Mike]

I didn't notice. I didn't notice much. Did you notice anything? I'm not necessarily. I haven't played Zombies in a minute. So this is me kind of jumping back after Black Ops 6 was the last time I played, but I only played for like a night so I didn't notice anything too crazy. But everything you expect like the pack a punch machines, you're. You're you're gonna get it. I saw people with ray guns. Yeah, it's. It's exactly what you expect.

[Host/Announcer]

Okay, yeah. Now you mentioned 18 new weapons. Is there anything that might tickle my fancy? Mike?

[Andy Cortez]

Snipers were nasty, marksman. A lot of people really like the snipers. I like the old school assault rifle coming back. I don't know it off the top.

No, the car is not back. I don't think on that one. I think that's a modern warfare weapon.

Well, the issue wasn't. The issue wasn't that you weren't enthusiastic about it. Right. It was just that I know you and I know that you're going to get uptight about.

Okay. Yeah. So then, yeah, we figured it out, we're good.

Yeah. Let me pitch to you what I've always dreamt of. Kind of funny having an experience of a lifetime with. We've been to Vegas before. We've gone to the Sphere, We've done topgolf with Sonic. It's been a great time. But I've always said that I want one fun night of drinking and dancing with the kind of funny crew. Give me one night where everybody says yes, Mike, we will leave at 9 o', clock, we'll go have a late dinner at 11 o', clock, we will show up at the Omni and we will dance the night away with two margaritas and ham.

And I said, just give me one.

You want all of us to just come dancing with you one night, everybody?

[Andy Cortez]

And so I pitched, I pitched Roger. I said, steve Aoki will be in town. Yes, let's go dance the night away with Womp Womp with Steve Aoki. I buy the tickets right now. Let's do this. Roger immediately shuts that down, wants nothing to do on the late night. All he wants to do is go to the hotel room, fall asleep, call it a night. And so I say, okay, I'll get us Halloween Horror Nights tickets. That's another option. And then we'll eat big, be big at all the, at all the fun resorts.

[Snowbike Mike]

I didn't rebuttal, Roger. My rebuttal, My rebuttal that is that I, I wanted to go out. I wanted to do everything. Mike was just pitching me ideas that were each 250 a piece. And then he was like, don't worry, don't worry about it. I'll pay for it all I'm like, no, that's not how that works.

So then he goes, we go, you get shampoo?

So then I tell Roger, I say, roger, when we arrive at the. At the airport, just follow me. You're going to do the Roger thing where you get all anxious and uptight. Just follow me. Why, Andy? Because of course, on my ticket, the TSA PreCheck check hadn't turned on yet. This happened on my last trip. All you do is walk over to the TSA PreCheck checking people, and it clicks on just like that. I tell this to Roger. The world has now melted, right? He's panicking. He's freaking out, going, no, you got to go to the baggage claim people. You got to do this a day ahead of time. I'm like, roger, I've done this before. I promise you. And sure as shit, we pull into the airport. We walk up to the TSA PreCheck people. I say, hey, my check hasn't turned on yet. She literally looks at the phone and she goes, oh, just Turned on right then and there. And I said, thank you. And we turned around and walked to TSA Precheck. And Roger's world was melting 15 minutes before that.

So did you tell them about the Clear vs. TSA PreCheck debacle? So send you upstairs. So. No, no, hold on. Stop, stop. Before this, Mike just. Mike does not understand two different brands. He doesn't understand how two different things could be.

He does. He doesn't understand it, Right? He doesn't understand that clear is TS and TSA PreCheck are like separate, different entities. Different entities. So then he looks at me. So then instead of going to the TSA pre check with me, in the same line with me, he just walks. He walks right to the clear line and then looks at me, baffled, like, he teleported to this line.

Yes. There was a little bit of a fear there because we thought that, well, Mike thought that there was. They were staying at the Luxor. And when I got my message that I was getting going to the W, he said, oh, if I'm going to the Luxor, we will be switching.

So they have this robot that's making boba and cold brew and I've never seen a stupider.

It takes a while to set it down. So we had to have people moving the drinks. And then also somebody setting up the boba into the like this thing was just doing ice and then putting it underneath something and then putting it.

Gotta be aware this doesn't get the bad decision that this robot has been.

Put into the freaking out. They're moving.

When I go to. I'm not like Snowbug Mike. I don't like talking to people much. I'm not like, like, personable. But there's one place that I'm personable, and that's at a weed store. I look at them and I say, hey, man, this is what I'm looking for. Like, what's the vibe? Yeah, Exactly. I want 5 milligrams. No more than this. I want 2 to 1 ratio CBD. Like, I'm like that. I like talking to my Mike clams up. He does not want any of that. He just wants the interaction to be over. So then he just looks and says, give me whatever mints you got. And they said, we don't got any mints, but we have these little edibles right here, right? And he says, yeah, I'll take that. And Before I did that, I said, no, no, no, Mike, how many milligrams are in those edibles? And they said, the worker says, well I, I don't know. And then Mike says he didn't know. That's fine. That's fine, Roger, that's fine. And then he swipes the card. He swipes the card. It's a reasonable price. There's no issues with that. There's no issues with that. With the price, right? That he buy, walks outside. We do the math. 20 milligrams per edible. That's way too much. That's way too much for Mike and.

To get us out of this awful situation. We get two feet away, Roger goes, I don't want it anymore. I don't want this, this. And I'm like, all right, well then now I got to go get the min. So I just say get the mints. Let's get it rolling. Let's get it moving. Roger not happy about any of this. Yeah, like don't. Hey, guess what?

Like I might have a panic attack. So I was like trying to protect myself. And also when we got there, I was like, I don't want to drink because I want to protect myself because I'm going to be a little scared. I don't want to be too sloppy or anything. I want to do any of that. So we get there. Mike immediately orders a double margarita. Margaritas, $40, $40 double margarita.

No, no. But I was feeling it. I was feeling it. And then we were in scarecrow and I got really scared of the dark. Then I said, roger, I can't see. You go first, girl. That was crazy.

Not till day two.

Yeah. So day one, Roger wasn't fully into the Vegas yet. He had. He had to warm up. And this is when he finally opened up. Because day one, it was, I don't want to go out and eat somewhere expensive. You know, Halloween horror nights. Fine, Mike. I don't want to drink. I don't want a weed pen. So it's just like. It's a lot of, like, a lot of no's in Vegas. A lot of rejections that I'm getting built up on. And I'm like, are we riding and dying or not? You know, bad boys for life. Life. Let's ride. Then we get to the roulette table, and something clicks for Roger all of a sudden.

[Snowbike Mike]

Gambling addiction.

[Andy Cortez]

Roger goes, I don't want to gamble. I won't put any money down. So I put a hundred dollars down then putting $25 table limits on the minimum. And so $25 table limits. Yeah, $25. You know what?

[Snowbike Mike]

Nighttime at 15 in the morning.

[Andy Cortez]

10 and 15 in the morning. And so now, because Roger didn't put any money down and won't do it, I'm the only one that's allowed to touch the chips. We get quickly yelled at when I go, oh, yeah. Roger tries to bet. He goes, you can't touch that. You didn't give any money. I'm like, okay, well, that's great. So now we play, and it starts to cook. I look at Roger. We're playing the inside. We're playing the numbers, and I go, give me your favorite number. I put on black 22. We're going four for Lienza. We're going six, nine over on that. Because who doesn't love six and nine, right? I love that we're betting. And we start here hitting. All of a sudden, we start to hit. We hit. We hit black four. We have black 22. We hit six and nine. We're now the hundred.

[Snowbike Mike]

We're not even splitting numbers, by the way. We're just hidden numbers.

[Andy Cortez]

The hundred is now 300. And Roger has lit up. Now I get Roger out where Roger is actively excited.

[Snowbike Mike]

And I got free drinks, bro. Come on. Like, that's my. That's my dream. They come around with the free drinks. It's like, this is where I want to be.

[Andy Cortez]

So it only took about seven hours to get here, but I finally now have Roger rolling.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah.

And we proceed to. It's us. It's this lady with her husband and a couple other people that come and go, and we're pounding the table. We are getting after it. And we're up.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah.

[Andy Cortez]

I mean, first night we're up right now when we walk away, that hundred is now 400 in my pocket.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah.

[Andy Cortez]

And we called it.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, well, we didn't call it a night. We went up to the skyline, the sky. The sky fall. I think it's called, what they call it. The top of the W has like this beautiful lookout out. So we hung out there. We streamed. We were very drunk. Yeah, we streamed on Mike's channel. And that was. That was a really nice time, a really nice look. But it's just a weird vibe. It's like. It's like a swanky, nice, like kind of upscale vibe. And then you just have some white DJ in the corner blasted. Not like us. Like a censored version of not like us. It's like, what is happening? What is the vibe? That is the veg. What is the Vegas?

You guys are lucky you didn't have to stay at the Luxor. That hotel is like.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, we got. We went to the Lux store a few times. We walked over there.

Yeah. Roger refused to go to the Raider game with me. Try to convince him to go to.

This is not what he asked.

He was going football. Raider game Sunday. Oh, pretty amazing. We got to see Allegiant Stadium. It was packed.

You're out of town, you got to be down a clown, you know.

No, we were driving, we were off roading. We had a. We had a scheduled event that we agreed to which was off roading. And then Mike's like, what if we just dish it and go to the Raiders game? I'm like, no.

[Andy Cortez]

I said, I don't want to do that. Early morning, we're going to the Raiders game. Roger quickly shut it down. We're at the one o', clock, same time as kickoff. So we didn't get to go. Roger got his way. This whole trip is about Roger getting his way.

[Nick Scarpino]

Actually, I thought this whole trip was about you guys playing the new Call of yeah.

[Andy Cortez]

Got his way. We played. And so we teamed up with Polaris again. Call of Duty and Polaris are back again for another awesome razor ride, which I did last year out in Virginia. Of course, you know that the Razor is in the game. So the Polaris Razor is the car that we drive around in. They've now got the new upgraded Razor in the game. We're out in the deserts of Nevada and we are just ripped.

[Nick Scarpino]

This looks so fun.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, this is me, Mike. Yeah, Tyler. Tyler's in the chat right now. What up from ign. And of course, Seth Macy, who I met for the first time. He's awesome. He's sick as fuck.

And I told everyone, I said, go as fast as you possibly can. And we went 15 miles.

[Snowbike Mike]

No. Why would you do that? Why are you so mean? No, I didn't. Why are you like that? No, I didn't. That's not true at all. That's not. Also, it's not me driving. This is $.

No, go back, go back, go back. Don't spoil that. But yeah, we drove and it was fun. It was a really good time. And it was like, I've never driven something. I'm so used to the 2007, you know, Toyota Yaris. Right. Chase a little bit. You know what I mean? It's not very. Not very precise.

It always feels like you're off road.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, exactly. So it was. No, it was nothing new here. But, man, this thing just felt so good. When you're driving, you're taking those tight turn corners, you're going. You're going 25, 30. Off roading, like, it just feels like a video game the entire time. It was. It was a lifetime, once in a lifetime experience. It was a really great time.

[Andy Cortez]

It was experience of a lifetime. It was really, really fun. It was awesome. Well coordinated. Everybody was out there smiling. We got to stop the polar switch out. We had a. We did a call. We did a loadout call drop. So we had smoke flares going off in the desert. It was pretty sick.

[Snowbike Mike]

And then, yeah, we went back to the gambling. We hit the roulette. We did lose it all.

[Andy Cortez]

I. Yeah, this was day two, too. Now Roger's saying yes. So Roger now is ready to party. Mike has already partied. So we're on two different wavelengths. Ah, okay.

[Snowbike Mike]

You're.

[Host/Announcer]

He's on the come up. You're on the come down.

[Andy Cortez]

I'm on the come down. All right. So I'm like, yeah, go for it.

[Snowbike Mike]

Mike has been what starts to come down here, and then it just down the entire rest of the trip.

[Andy Cortez]

Roger and I are gambling once again.

[Nick Scarpino]

Blew up his heart and that scary.

[Andy Cortez]

We're having fun. Roger is understanding the free drinks as well, which is great. Great.

[Snowbike Mike]

It's huge.

[Andy Cortez]

The cocktail waitress hasn't come by yet. Roger says, I gotta go get a drink. So he goes to the bar to buy drinks. What happens? Cocktail. Wait. Just shows up two seconds later. Of course. So Roger's now in for, like, $80 on two margaritas.

[Snowbike Mike]

Crazy. Two. Two margaritas, $80. They were double margaritas.

[Andy Cortez]

But here's.

[Nick Scarpino]

Here's what I'm gonna say, though. Now, the free drink, you know, you understand the free drink concepts.

[Snowbike Mike]

They want us to get drunk and.

[Nick Scarpino]

Spend all our money, and they give you shit drinks.

[Snowbike Mike]

Honestly. Honestly.

[Andy Cortez]

Roger liked the drink.

[Snowbike Mike]

They were good.

So you're smart. I'm just saying you're smart for ordering beers. Yeah, because they can't water down a Modelo.

Yeah.

But when you get, like, a Jack and Coke or Jack and diet or whatever, you get like. You're like, there's no alcohol.

I mean, well, he was getting margaritas.

[Snowbike Mike]

I was getting. I got a margarita.

That's why you got to go up and order them.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, I got a margarita there.

But they did that stupid. Where they have. Everything's metered now, and they hit. And the gun just, like, spits out exactly the amount of alcohol it's supposed to have.

Yeah.

Long gone are the days where you could grease the bartender a little bit and he'd just get you.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah. Yeah.

[Andy Cortez]

So know during this day, we're fighting. We're up the whole time. We're still in it. We're just fine. But then there's a moment when I know it's gonna shift.

[Host/Announcer]

Fighting.

[Andy Cortez]

Fighting to stay up.

[Snowbike Mike]

Okay, we're not fighting each other.

[Andy Cortez]

We're fighting to stay up. We're locked in. Me.

[Nick Scarpino]

And this is when you guys start texting.

[Andy Cortez]

We're locked in. No, it's about 30 minutes from then. Yeah.

[Snowbike Mike]

It seems like we were fighting each other the entire trip. No, we were chilling the entire.

[Andy Cortez]

We had the best time.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, it was awesome. Yeah, it was great. All of the moments that we had that he would just smile and laugh, and I would see it in his eyes. I'm like, you're gonna be mean to me on this podcast. That's what. That's what's gon happened. You're nice to me now you're gonna be mean to me later. Yeah, Mike. Every single thing.

[Andy Cortez]

Mike disliked that.

[Snowbike Mike]

Mike didn't say anything about anything. And then he's like, I'm waiting for this moment. He's like, no, sloppy. I would never do that.

[Andy Cortez]

We're fighting, and I know that the tides are about to shift because they've done a shift change in the middle. Our guy goes on break. The hot hand goes on break. And you know the rules. If the dealer switches, you're gonna have a bad time. It's time to pick up.

[Nick Scarpino]

They switch on purpose. This moment, not the energy.

[Andy Cortez]

Roger has ordered a drink. Drink from the cocktail waitress. I need to go to the bathroom really bad. So I'm like, this would now be the perfect moment to stand up and not do this. But Roger's waiting on a drink. So what we'll do is we'll just wait on the drink to return. Well, that took about 40 minutes.

[Nick Scarpino]

Yeah, they're not dumb.

[Andy Cortez]

And by the time she came back, we had lost. Yep. We lost everything.

[Snowbike Mike]

Well, I will say not to throw you under the bus too much, but also, we were losing. We're on a slow decline, Right? Which I'm fine with, Right. I'm like, okay, okay. At least we're having fun. We're playing, right? Mike decides right at the. Like, we have, like, maybe 50 bucks left. In the middle of us putting down a hand, he just says, Ah, 25 on black real quick. Just immediately. Just fucks us up. And we lose it immediately. So now we just doubled the. The. We just. Yeah, the decline is now sharp. So we lose it all pretty fast.

[Andy Cortez]

And so at this moment, just so you all are aware, before we started gambling, I wanted to go out to dinner. Dinner. Roger, of course, not hungry. At that time, it was just going to be Mike because they had food there.

[Nick Scarpino]

Want to go back to the same restaurant you went to before?

[Andy Cortez]

We'll talk about that another time. We'll talk about that. There's a lot more. So I was like, let's just go down there. We go down to the steakhouse there. Smells awful.

[Snowbike Mike]

Oh, like shit.

[Andy Cortez]

There's a smell coming from the Mandalay Bay Aquarium. Plus the walkway to the T. Mobile arena into their food, their fine dining, restaurant, hallway. A lot of sense that is collider. You not miss. And somehow there are like, 40 people sitting, eating, and you're like, do you not smell what we're all smelling? So Roger was like, let's go. And I was like, that's fine. Let's go. So I hadn't eaten at all. And so now it's 11:30. Nothing is open but the Luxor food court, where we proceed to walk across the walkway. And we go to the Luxor food court.

[Snowbike Mike]

Can I tell the story, please? Now, this is my point of view. And then you can point.

[Andy Cortez]

I will fill in the blanks. Because at this point, Roger's feeling himself.

[Snowbike Mike]

Yeah, I'm drunk.

[Andy Cortez]

He's having a good time.

[Snowbike Mike]

I'm drunk. And we talked about how I am not usually Snowbike Mike when it comes to social interactions, but I actually left that one thing. So I'm like that when it comes to weed stores. And I'm like that when I'm drunk ordering food next to people.

[Host/Announcer]

Yes.

[Snowbike Mike]

I love talking to people about what they're gonna get. What they're gonna get. What are you gonna get? So I'm Mike. No, I'm not talking to Mike. I'm talking to random people.

No, no, it's. You're like, me.

When I get drunk, I want to be best friends with everyone.

Everybody. So I'm sit. So then Mike already orders. He got a pizza. Pizza. And I was like, yeah, I'll get a slice.

[Andy Cortez]

No, no, I took it to the pizza place. You didn't want any pizza. I said, I'm getting us two slices of pizza.

[Snowbike Mike]

You said, fine, yeah, let's do that.

[Andy Cortez]

I was like, I'll get you anything. A stromboli. I'll get you a slice of pizza. What did you say? What's a stromboli?

[Snowbike Mike]

No, no, guy.

[Andy Cortez]

There's a drunk man looking at him. I go, a stromboli? And the drunk guy looks at him and goes, oh, stromboli, man. He starts telling Roger all about what stromboli is. And Roger's nodding his head.

[Snowbike Mike]

This guy was locked into stromboli. He was like, you gotta try a stromboli. I'm like, what is a stromboli? And he said, well, it's like a pizza, but in, like, a pocket form. And I want to look at him be like, isn't that just a calzone? But then he just kind of kept on expanding upon how important it was, because then you get the sauce on the side different. And he really wanted. He really likes the sauce. So he's like, you got to put the sauce on top of the stromboli. I was like, that's crazy. I'm gonna get this pizza. But, like, thanks for letting me know about that. Right? So then Mike and I, we eat our food Mike's like, hey, Mike, buy the pizza.

[Andy Cortez]

You know, Okay.

[Snowbike Mike]

I mean, I took a photo.

[Andy Cortez]

Selfish lover.

We eat the food. He gets up. I got to use the bathroom. I'm like, okay. He goes to the bathroom, and I'm throwing away our stuff. And then I see the Stromboli guy. This the guy that ordered the Stromboli.

Mr. Stromboli.

[Snowbike Mike]

I. I walk over.

[Nick Scarpino]

Hey, that's Tony Stromboli.

[Andy Cortez]

There was a lot of time before that.

[Snowbike Mike]

What?

So here's how it went. We finished our food. I said, I'm going to go throw this away. I'm going to grab a napkin, let's leave. Leave. And so I proceed to walk to the trash can, walk to the exit where Roger should be moving at this point.

[Snowbike Mike]

I thought you said you're gonna go to the bathroom.

[Andy Cortez]

Roger is locked in. Roger's looking at his phone. He's looking at the bright lights for, like, five plus minutes. I'm taking photos of Roger from across the lobby and sending it to him to let him know, like, it's time to go. So then these are the photos I'm sending Roger, right? And so then out of nowhere, he starts to walk. And I go, where could he possibly be walking now?

[Snowbike Mike]

Let me pick up. Let me pick up on my thing. So I see this Stromboli guy, and I'm like, hey, man, how was it? Like, I want to know, like. Because he was like, I'm excited about this. He's like, man, it was really good. And I see on his plate, he has cut the stromboli in half, right? He cut the Stromboli half. He ate one half. He's like, getting here. You want. You want to bite? And I was like, yeah, I'll take a bite of the Stromboli right now. I pick it up. He's like, you gotta add some sauce on that. I was like, yeah, take a bite. I was like, hey, hey, man, thanks for this. I'm going to throw out your plate for you, right? So I pick up the thing. I drop the Stromboli on the floor.

[Nick Scarpino]

Hey, man, thanks for sharing your stromboli.

[Andy Cortez]

Fuck you.

[Snowbike Mike]

I pick it up, I throw it back. I throw away his stuff for him. And then I walk over, and then Mike's like, check your phone. And he was taking photos of me eating this guy Stromboli the entire time. You know, it was a clean cut, right? It wasn't like he took a big bite out of it or whatever. It Was a clean cut. The guy wanted half. Half a stromboli. And I ate half a Stromboli. Bully. And it was good.

[Nick Scarpino]

I don't see any problem with that.

[Snowbike Mike]
